Your name is QIRSMIT though you prefer to go by SMITTY to your extremely small circle of online friends. You live on the tidally locked techno-industrial powerhouse planet of LUSTRIUM, an arbitrarily large number of years in the future removed from the hypothetical audience to this internal monologue. That planet will be destroyed shortly, this you know, or at least have a pretty good hunch about.

This is because you are some kind of PROPHET, with the ability to foretell disaster derived from the strings of numbers you see in your dreams. You turn these numbers into STATISTICAL DATAPOINTS that you compare to the present performance of the Lustrium economy to predict IMMANENTLY DEPRECIATING STOCKS AND CURRENCIES with unerring accuracy.

This has been your job for your entire life, ever since your adoption by the cyborg broker hivemind known collectively as the SHAREBEARS, after you were delivered to the roof of their building by a fortuitous meteor. While not particularly personable, they are attentive to your needs and quick to indulge the many interests you pursue in your free time.

These interests include OLD EARTH MOVIES though the films the Sharebears obtain for you are more often than not related to the stock market and/or data analytics. You enjoy a well-plotted graph, but in your free time you prefer the more mystical studies of SACRED GEOMETRY and OBJECTS OF MATHEMATICAL INTRIGUE.

You enjoy building elaborate MARBLE COURSES and running races, both because it is a practical study of PHYSICS AND ENTROPY as well as very fun to see little glass balls roll down a chute. You have damn good aim with a SLINGSHOT too in case those little glass balls aren’t moving fast enough.

You have an interest in the ancient art of the JAPANESE MANGA and own rare print volumes of your favorite series. You can also amuse yourself for many hours by playing with your dear PET HAMSTER. You are also a bit of a GAMER, particularly virtual reality and simulation games as a substitute for rather limited freedom.

You used to have a lot more freedom, but as the lynchpin of the Sharebears operation there have been several attempts on your life by rival broker organizations over the years. One psychic attack nearly succeeded, resulting in a long stay on the PSYCH MOON to restore your capabilities.

On first watch, your eyes were opened to a world of compelling nonlinear narrative structure, the antique but timeless humor of the year 2009, and whimsical all-ages wishing-rock-related hijinks. You have watched it many times since.

Helvetica Black was your first crush, and while you since question your prepubescent taste, there is something undeniably attractive about a girl with a rocket bike who can turn into a giant wasp. miscellaneous helluva boss redesign headcanons i'm not gonna use because i'm too lazy to do a full rewrite;

robofizz IS fizzarolli. instead of the robofizzes being robotic replicas, fizzarolli was so damaged by the fire that he is now 90% cyborgs. as his arms and legs are interchangeable, he has a series of work-related sets (the typical black flexi-metal) but also a series of casual sets that he reserves for asmodeus' company (the same metal but engraved with hearts or cute phrases).

blitzø has wings (half succubus, hell yeah) but can't fly because he was never taught and maybe because of his trauma he's incapable of learning. barbie wire also has wings and can fly, having been taught by verosika in rehab. both barbie and blitzø prefer to use their succubus charms over their wings, but again barbie is better at it than blitzø because she had a guide.

millie is the second tallest member of i.m.p (loona's tallest), equalling sallie may's height. she's also significantly buffer than the others because she actually works out and proteinmaxxes or whatever the hell people do to get buff. i don't work out but i do know millie is buff as hell.

moxxie looks a little more like his mother because why the hell not.

loona has some kind of visible injury that was gained during a fostering prior to blitzø's. i feel like the show leads us to believe loona had never been adopted prior to blitzø, but to me it makes more sense that she was and it didn't turn out so well... because otherwise she really has no conceivable reason to be treating blitzø the way she did for majority of the series. anyway, loona has long hair, so i think she'd have some kind of ugly eye scar that she covers with it. maybe multiple scars?

i also imagine loona as chubby with her weight going to her hips/thighs (me projecting hehe) due to blitzø absolutely spoiling her with fattening treats for like the first year of adopting her (until he learned how unhealthy they were) PLUS the fact that loona does seem to lean into gluttony quite often.

chaz is also buffer because i feel like it's easier to trick people into thinking you have something to offer if you don't look like a scrawny mf. he also has an eyepatch that used to be for show but eventually becomes necessary after he betrays the wrong mobster...

STRIKER!!!! striker should have more snake features rather than the invisible rattle. if he has to keep the imp tail just so he's recognizable as a hybrid, at least give him a rounder face and fangs. maybe some kind of ugly tinted scales under his receding hairline <3

similar to beelzebub, stolas has some king of glowy cosmic effect incorporated into his design. maybe his eyes? or it's emanating from his head, like a ponytail. i think giving stolas long hair would make his design so much better.

since octavia seems somewhat studious and is also incredibly introverted, i imagine her really leaning into the "moody astrologist teen" aesthetic rather than the "moody headphone teen" aesthetic. in my revision i imagine to distract herself from her family issues she throws herself into her studies of space and magic (struggling with practical performances due to her stress) which in turn leads her to adopt a not-so-stylish fashion... stained cloak, messy hair, you know?

stella gains some "negative" effects from her pregnancy with octavia. things that would make her hate herself, like additional weight (not even anything significant, just some pesky stomach chub she can't get rid of bc you know she'd throw a fit about it) or... idk, insert something else. i don't know anything about pregnancy 😭 i also headcanon her to look more swan-like, or at least with a pointier head so that she doesn't look like stolas' cousin.

Asmodeus was on the way to his office as he noticed the love of his life, who was clearly upset about something. "Fizzie, what's wrong?" The Deadly Sin asked, clearly concerned about the cyborg imp.

"I had a bad day." Fizzarolli sighed. The King of Lust immediately picked him up to shower him with kisses and cuddles. Then, Ozzie decided to stick him in his jacket. Fizz didn't hesitate to snuggle close to his boyfriend.

It was quite obvious that the jester began to feel better. So much better! Ozzie had an affectionate expression on his face as he, along with his greatest treasure in his jacket, entered his office.

He had a meeting with Bee, who died of cuteness as she saw that the small demon fell asleep in Asmodeus' jacket. "Awwwww! Ozzie, you have the most adorable boyfriend! He is so precious!" Queen Bee was cooing. Ozzie gave her a nod in agreement.

Has illusion magic that allows him to disguise himself as human, and occasionally as other players. Was infected by Skulk for a bit

Exactly what it says on the tin! Also grows tomato vines around his horns sometimes

Most obviously a Phantom, and has bony wings. He’s also a glitch in the game and will warp himself and his surroundings a little bit. The part of his face covered by his mask is skeletal. Might also be a failed clone?

Puppet possessed by an eldritch entity. He’s capable of taking over bodies and effectively banishing the host into the nothingness, although he hasn’t done so in a long while

Despite being a vampire, he doesn’t drink blood, he just gets really bad sunburns sometimes

Pearl: Moth / Lunar

Has a strong connection to the moon and the markings on her wings change with its cycle. She was also a Glare while she was the cleaning lady

Very powerful, although she doesn’t use her magic for much more than helping plants grow, although those plants usually turn out pretty weird

A being originating from fire itself, and was connected to Decked Out 2 for a while, which was some sort of eldritch parasite. After Season 8, he became a Lunar, although he’s not very happy about it, and most of the others don’t know about it. Has four arms sometimes, but no one knows how the extra arms get there or where they go afterwards

So it's time to go back through and reconnect with Starsys 9 my dream video game project.

It combines a mix of genres, so players can be like, a cyborg human piloting a robot mech, or an alien beast creature, or an elven vampire necromancer, etc.... playing these diverse characters in a MOBA ARPG with FPS and RTS elements. I know, but the heart wants what the heart wants

(please excuse my "drawings", you can see why i'm excited to commission someone for some better concept art)

there are 3 factions: Cyberians, the Sporeborn, and Dimenkind

Cyberians - humanoid cyborgs that often pilot robot mech suits

Sporeborn - Different alien species (many insectoid) all unified through infection by a sapient fungus

Dimens or Dimenkind - fantasy/horror genre characters like dwarves and werewolves that are pulled from other dimensions by godlike cthulhuic trans-dimensional beings (hence the name Dimens, from the word dimension, but also like demons)

each faction requires some but not all of the resources available on the planet, (water, organic hydrocarbons, minerals/metal, sulfur, methane) and they fight for access to, or control of, these resources. Resources typically need to be harvested and processed, and each faction has special installations/work units to do this.

Each faction has access to specific types of damage, with some overlap. Each faction tends to have weakness to certain damage types and resistance to certain damage types. Cyberians do: kinetic(bullets)/explosive/physical (melee)/electric/laser Sporeborn do: plasma/physical (melee)/chemical/biological Dimenkind do: physical (melee)/elemental/magic damage/curse damage (debuffs)

The total effect of resource needs, damage weaknesses, damage resistance, and damage capabilities results in a sort of nesting doll system of rock/paper/scissors relationships

Each faction maintains a control zone, in which their dominant resources are provided to player characters for free in AOE dispersal fields.

Cyberians use relay beacons to broadcast resources as particle beams made of individual atoms to be reconstructed into materials. Sporeborn use spore piles to waft clouds of spores that provide sporeborn characters with resources, and Dimens use altars that generate large circles of magic energy.

Another key feature of the game is team-leading. Each player has a certain number of points to spend on npc supports that are assigned to them. There are three size classes of support, each size class costs a different number of points, so a player can choose how to spend their support points to have a whole bunch of small supports, or one of each size, or one big one and a few small ones etc. Some skill tree options increase the number of points available to spend on supports.

Cyberian supports are droids and bots, Sporeborn supports are spore-infected alien animals, and Dimen supports are goblins and zombies and imps and things.

personal npc supports can be given complex commands using a communication wheel. Leveling up increases the number and complexity of these commands

Each faction's control zone also has unassigned npc supports wandering around doing control zone maintenance and upgrade tasks. Players can temporarily command a couple of these unassigned npcs, as players raise their rank they increase the number of npcs they can claim in this way. These npcs can only be given a small number of very basic commands. However, they can be put under the control of the players personal supports, assigned to perform the same behaviors as that support unit, who can then be given the more complex commands. In this way groups of unassigned npc supports can be deployed by player characters to perform complex maneuvers as a unit.

Additionally, each faction has a technique for taking over command of enemy npcs. Dimens can raise dead npcs, Cyberians can hijack npcs trekie-borg style, and Sporeborn can infect npcs with their fungal spores

The Cyberians are human-minded cyborgs with downloadable/transferable minds and robotic/cybernetic support crews. When a Cyberian is killed, their mind is simply uploaded to their central server and then downloaded into a new body, which is 3D printed with one mineral-matter jet and one organic-matter jet. The other factions have their own version of this, sporeborn are cloned with basal spores that are sort of like stemcells, with even a single spore from the original entity being able to transfer the consciousness into the newly grown sporeclone, and Dimenkind simply pulls a copy of themselves from a parallel universe and possess the new version of the being like a malevolent spirit, the player characters functioning as avatars for the extra-dimensional being that is the player themself.

player characters are one of three Classes: Rogue, Fighter, Support, and every character of these classes will be one of three Types: Specialist, Purist, or Generalist, and each of these has three Skill Trees to develop

Therefore, the nine player character class types are: Rogue Specialist Rogue Purist Rogue Generalist Fighter Specialist Fighter Purist Fighter Generalist Support Specialist Support Purist Support Generalist

Each of these has three skill trees to go down (which could include water and flying variants like Orca-Mechs and Sporesharks and Dimen Mers, or Jet-Mechs, Sporedactyls or Fallen Devils)

So for example

You start playing, you decide to play as the Cyberian faction.

To replicate food, water, and sleep needs while streamlining the player experience for the faster pacing more suitable to a MOBA ARPG with RTS and FPS elements , Player Character Cyberians require water for power moves (separated into hydrogen and oxygen) mineral matter for ammunition and armor, and hydrocarbons/organic matter for healing (this can be had from many sourcres, such as oil, vegetation, or hunted creatures). The other factions have their own resource needs that overlap with these.

Your on-world faction center is a couple of large Cyberian Citadels, which function as In Town for your character, where you can get supplies and turn in quests and hang out with special NPCs and other players. The Cyberian off-world faction power base is a metropolis on one of the moons that orbit the planet. The other factions all have their equivalents, Spore Colonies and Dimenkind Pocked Dimensions etc.

You pick your first character class: Fighter Purist, subclass Sword Gunner, with a triple branched skill tree that can specialize into Maneuverability, Damage, or Defense. This has you playing as an 8 foot tall mech suit with a large sword in one hand and a gun in the other, going down the defense tree will give you the choice to trade your gun or sword for a shield, and swap out your special attacks for ones that do things like temporarily boost your HP or give you an additional energy shield bubble ability. If you spec into maneuverability, you'll get slightly less HP and a little less DPS but faster movement speed a longer range boost-jump.

You have 18 support points to spend.

A small support npc (like a flying drone or a little robot truck/tank) costs 2 points

A medium support npc (like an android or a dogbot) costs 3 points

A large support npc (like a bearbot or a mech-twin) costs 6 points.

so you can choose a team by spending 6 on a single large support, 6 on two medium supports and 6 on three small supports... or you can just have 3 large supports. Or you can just have 9 small supports. Or you can just have 6 medium supports. Or you can have 1 large support and 6 small supports. They're your support points to spend as you want to build your little support team. Some skill branches may give you more support points to spend, and certain level up benchmarks might give you more points to spend, as well as unlocking Extra Large supports and Nano- or Micro- Swarm supports

Each size support has an attack, but also different abilities and specialties. The small supports can provide ammunition and healing to both you and your other supports, as well as give you map information. The medium supports can handle your mech guns reload, reducing your reload time for your larger guns to zero (but removing that medium support's ability to attack with their own gun) Large supports can shield you and carry large portions of extra supplies. Again, each faction has their own versions of this gameplay. For example Dimen supports may blow themselves up to cause large AOE damage or sacrifice themselves to provide healing.

In your faction's control zone, the Cyberian relay beacons broadcast an Enriched Molecular Field that gives you slow but constant ammo and fuel regeneration (but not health -- Dimens in their control zones get magica and health regen but not stamina, and Sporeborn in their control zones get stamina and health regen but not sporecount)

now say you want to move outside your factions holdings and set up a small EMF control zone of your own. You need to mine, process, and store 3 resources which means you need some big tractor-like mining and harvesting vehicles, a processing center, some storage tank vehicles, a mobile base... these are the mega classes

You play the normal game as a 1st person shooter/fighter in a sort of Overwatch meets World of Warcraft kind of way. But once you unlock all the fps player classes, you unlock the mega classes and have the option to play the same game but through the lens of a realtime strategy game looking something like this

The graphics on this version of the game don't have to be super outrageous or anything because it's sort of meant to be what you would be seeing on your screen from the cockpit of your Mobile Command vehicle, and if you want pretty graphics you can swap into FPS control of your player character classes

When playing as mega class Mobile Command (Or Dimen Ordained, or Genomorph Queen) instead of a team of personal npc support units, you have access to your unlocked player character classes as npcs you can control remotely, as well as whatever large miners, harvesters, processors, and tankers you have the resources to build.

By processing your resources and installing your own relay beacons, you can set up your own supply field and claim territory for your faction. You can also set up production lines of your factions support NPCs and start spawning dogbots or goblins or antmen or whatever, and telling groups of them to do things like mine, harvest patrol, defend etc

Say there is hostile contact on one side of your supply broadcast. Now this could be an enemy character class or mega class, and it could be pve computer controlled enemies, or it could be actual human players, you can only tell by how they act or if they communicate with you, not by looking.

As your Mobile Command mega class, you can tell your player classes to go over there and eliminate any enemies and the computer will operate your Sword Gunner and all 8 of your other player character class types at their current level as your personal mega class npc support team of 9, while all the common npc supports you've been spawning help defend or keep mining or whatever.

And/or you can roll your mobile command vehicle over there and attack the enemy yourself, or you can park your mobile command and flip your POV into your Sword Gunner or any other player class and attack them first person, commanding your team of standard npc supports and backed by the unassigned npc supports your mega class has been spawning. These unassigned (or, not your personal team of) npc supports are probably a work spec build, so they aren't going to be as capable in a fight as your personal crew.
