i got fired from my office job almost a month ago and i'm not kidding when i'm saying i've applied to 50+ job online and in person and only gotten one call back for an interview and that was two weeks ago, i'm desperate and i have bills to pay including paying for psychiatrist appointments and meds since i have no insurance now if anyone could help by sharing at least it would mean a lot (here's my p*yp*l and my ko-fi page)

Hi! I’m Kiki and I’m a disabled college student. Because of an intense disability flareup had to stop working for now, and I don’t know when I can resume work unfortunately. My bank account is now in the negatives due to car insurance, insulin /other meds, and other payments. Hello!

It's Margie again. I need to make a more comprehensive post for this mess. So I'll start with the key points of why I need help blah blah blah.

😆 I have cancer and a total hysterectomy scheduled for October 17th becuz I have atrophy and decay. I also have a problem with a vein around my kidney instead of where it's supposed to be.

😂 My wife also broke her ankle and cannot go to work, walk, drive, or even go down the stairs for 4 to 12 weeks. We live on the second floor. We have to call EMT if she needs up and down the stairs.

🤣 I quit my job for incredibly personal reasons including the first point above and ✨retaliation✨ YIKES. I'm getting another job but that leaves at least a week and a half I didn't work and earn this month all becuz my body is dying and men with power should be eaten alive.

😀 I have two cats one of which is old and disabled so I don't just feed my family of four I feed them too. I have no food stamps left. Or money ATM. To feed my family of four.

😐 My electric is due by the 26th and my rent is due by the 5th. Which all together amounts to about $500. I'm gonna do everything I can to make money but it'd be such a relief to not have to be scared about housing and electric. So I honestly wouldn't shy away from dnations right now. Share if u can't thank u.

heres the quick version: i still don't have a job despite my valiant efforts to obtain one. i'm going to be making contact with a staffing agency this week because indeed applications aren't working out. we are running on my partner's (barely above minimum wage) income and what my mom can afford to send our way (which isn't much- she's retired). there was snow packed in our tire treads when i was turning onto our road and now our car is missing part of the front (still driveable i think? might not need to get her repaired? hopefully? but there is a chance i am wrong). there is almost no food in our house and we live in a neighborhood that's a bit of a food desert.

in the meantime, our rent is covered but we still have bills to pay. we have cats (and ourselves) to feed. it's the holiday season. if you can afford to send a few dollars our way that would slap. i'll draw something or needle felt you an amogus (and mail it) or give you a kiss or something.

just saw someone in the notes of a palestine dnation post saying "im not educated on this but donate!"💀💀. first of all how have you not educated yourself on this topic. second how can you ask people to donate to something when you don't even understand. like if you're not 'educated' on the topic how do you know it's a good cause to ask people to donate to. ok in that case yeah it's a good cause but how would this person know any better because they apparently know nothing about the topic + they still feel comfortable asking their followers to donate. just taking their moral code from what tumblr users say rather than actually doing research and developing their own opinions

New Month, New Info Post

Current state of things:

Fiddling a lot with ch7 and 8, but ch7 might actually release around the end of March to mid-April (I'll try my best).

For the update I will likely first leave the whereabouts list as it is right now, I need more input on that first, as well as doing more research.

There's several new plotthreads that have taken shape for later chapters, so, yeah, this might end up a longer game than anticipated, which worries me a bit. (I looked into tweego and found that, no, it's not actually an option for how I structure my stories and choices, neither is the 'choicescript to twine' converter.) So, let's hope for the best.

Life-situation is very meh. Still unemployed with no chance of getting a 'regular' job due to health stuff, and no means to get the stuff needed to do regular streams, sewing commissions etc. It's still a mess.

Money raised by dnations is currently at 275/7500, so still a long way to go (This is mostly getting my teeth fixed proper) Major thanks to everyone who helped out so far.
