Close your eyes. Relax. Breathe deeply. Visualize yourself wrapped in a beautiful spiritual light, absorbing this light and also radiating it out to your loved ones, healing them. Feel the tension and heaviness leaving your body, as though a great weight has been lifted from your shoulders. Focus your mind on the light. You are ready to begin the journey within. A magnificent universe awaits.
hi hi I saw your book list. Do you read non fiction as well? I was wondering what do you think about through time into healing by Dr Brian Weiss. One of my professors recommended it I'm yet to start but the concept is lovely! 😊
I do read non-fiction and am happy to provide a list of books I've read this year if anyone is interested. I run a book club at work for other professionals, and typically the books we read are centered around racial justice and domestic/sexual violence.
I haven't read this, though I did look up the synopsis and I don't think it's something I would read given my current clinical practice. What class is this for, if you don't mind me asking? My BA was in psych and if you're interested, I could suggest other books that might be useful? I think for me, I prefer non-fiction with an extensive, well-researched and up-to-date bibliography that I can reference as needed and I don't think this book has that.
just finished re-reading ‘Many Lives, Many Masters’ by Dr. Brian Weiss and i cried. i cried because it was over, but cried even more at the mastery of such an incredible and beautifully written book. i feel like this time around, i have learned so much more from this than what i had the first time around or from any other book as a matter of fact.
an excerpt from the last 2 pages:
"We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.
Our bodies are temporary. We are souls. We are immortal; we are eternal. We never die; we merely transform to a heightened state of consciousness, no longer needing a physical body. We are always loved. We are never alone, and we can never be harmed, not at this level. We all have lessons to learn in this school called Earth. We need to comprehend completely the concepts of compassion, love, non-violence, non-judgment, non-prejudice, patience, generosity and charity, and hope. We need to recognize the deceptions and traps of the ego and how to transcend them. We must become aware of the interconnectedness of all living beings, that energy connects us all, and that there is no death, only life. There are other lessons as well. We do not have to master all these lessons in one lifetime. We can reincarnate into physical bodies as often as we need, in order to learn and master these lessons. We change race, sex, religion, physical health or impairment, and nationality during our incarnations because we have to learn from all sides. We are rich, and we are poor, powerful and weak, privileged and deprived. We learn by experiencing everything. We all have soul mates, souls with whom we have reincarnated many times. Soul-mate relationships may be romantic, but frequently they are not, such as parent and child, siblings or bestfriends, grandparent and grandchild, and so on. Our bodies and relationships change, but the souls are the same. Your grandmother, for instance, may reincarnate as your son. Same soul, different body. We have many soul mates, and we are always being reunited, either on the other side or back here, in a physical state. Love has many facets.” -Dr. Brian L. Weiss
Chiudi gli occhi. Rilassati. Respira profondamente.
If I could pass on one piece of literature to every person on the planet, it would be "Many Lives, Many Masters" by Dr. Brian Weiss. My life has been forever changed, and I think the world would be too if we all absorbed it's lessons.
