Okay i just got another idea like right now after reading this post once more (it's the fourth time, i love it so much).

I kinda can't stop thinking of how the child will grow. How will the others (Grovyle, Dusknoir, Celebi, Kip, Cresselia, etc...) act with him? Is he some kind of Darkrai clone or does he have exclusive features (physically or/and with his ability). What kind of person will he want to be or will be? And the question I should have ask before anything else: What is his name.

Also what will be the gender of the child because i say he but if the child really comes from Twig and Ark he can be anything in a way (like, they could be a boy or a girl from Twig but they also can be a neutral gender from Ark)-

Personally, i imagined the idea of the child having similar power and physical body as Ark but with some feature of Twig. They could control the few powers they have of Ark perfectly without trying (they even could be able to not put people around them in nightmares when they fall asleep) but would easily lose control over their negative emotions (Anxiety, Sadness, Anger, Fear, etc...) especially with their personality near of the one of Twig (or even worst than Twig on some point).

First off: The baby is a girl! Ark proposes naming her Opal for absolutely no reason in particular, and Twig sees no reason to disagree with the name, so that’s what the baby is called from thereon. Pal and Pally are common derivatives used by Twig.

I’m working on a piece that will show how everyone will react to her, but it’s not ready yet, so I’ll just give a teaser: Celebi is completely blindsided by the baby’s appearance— she had no idea that something like that was going to happen in this timeline, and it’s a pretty big event to have missed whenever she peeked ahead in the timeline before now!

I haven’t decided entirely on what Opal’s personality will be as she ages, but for now, she’s pretty much your average baby— minus the crying. She is eerily quiet and barely vocalizes at all, to the point Twig gets worried about her learning to talk— and she promptly says her first full sentence immediately after. She’s very particular about food as well as material textures, and is prone to getting overwhelmed by bothersome sensory input, especially loud and clamorous noises. This isn’t something that she will grow out of, though she will collect a lot of strategies to help manage and minimize her overwhelm as she ages.

This ask is for my Vampire the Masquerade character, Khloe Osbourne, a Ventrue Thinblood!

🕷️ SPIDER - what is their biggest fear? do they have any irrational / mundane fears?

Khloe's biggest fear overall is letting down her coterie. She loves her boys deeply and definitely has unhealthily latched onto them, and the thought of them dying due to her mistakes or even just being hateful of her presence scares her immensely. She was just a lonely data-entry clerk homebody who suddenly has a closeknit community with a cause, she does NOT want to lose them. Possibly upsetting Christian - who she knows rationally is a good man who would understand and not hate her - makes her sweat. Breaking Ralph's heart? Oh God. Letting down Kyle who had helped her so much to get used to this shaky new world? Devastation.

Khloe does have a more IMMEDIATE and legitimately threatening fear: The Sheriff of Atlanta, Sir Godwynn Forrester. The coterie while trying to get some Thinblood hostages to safety came across him, firebombed him, and thanks to this MF having insane Fortitude he came out like a burning painting coming full T1000 at them. The coterie was like "Yeah that shouldn't be allowed to live." They got out of there, but the image is forever haunting them.

🔫 PISTOL - do they trust people easily? how easily will they turn their back to someone? have they been backstabbed before? will they betray someone if given an ultimatum?

Damn this one is an intense one. Khloe is a bit in a jam. She definitely doesn't trust people EASILY, but she did fall hard and fast for her coterie companionship. Perhaps it's how gently they helped her transition to this new life while also not holding back the information she NEEDED to know. She trusts her coterie with her life - whether or not this will be a good or bad thing has yet to be seen in the Chronicle! Everyone outside of the coterie gets the hard side eye, and she runs through the board's (coterie's) opinions a few times over before deciding what to do. Thanks to the few encounters with Fullbloods she's had, she basically has a permanent distrust of every single one she meets. Khloe is a ride or die, and would have an awful time turning her back on those she's promised to. It would have to be extREMELY heinous of a situation for Khloe to give up. Khloe has had the normal "backstabbed" situations, very light and melodramatic, but she definitely hasn't fully experienced REAL backstabbery... yet. Her life before her Embrace was very mild and easy-going and she's still only a few months old. If given an ultimatum... it depends. Khloe was raised Christian, and while she's agnostic she's finding a bit of faith again, and it's giving her a bit of a martyr complex. She'd probably pick the grave over betrayal.

💖 SPARKLING HEART - are they a subtle or a showy lover?

Khloe probably LOOKS like a subtle lover because her current lover - Ralph, a Nosferatu Thinblood - is so out there and show-offy that probably all else looks pale in comparison. Khloe is an open and loving woman who isn't embarrassed of her partner! She's had a few partners before that were pretty standard and normal, and while a private person she isn't SHY about PDA, but Ralph is a whole other animal and she's definitely getting more and more "YEP. THIS IS MY MANS. DEAL."

Christ that’s a lot you weren’t lying lmao. Tbh I deserve it after all the angst I put your ocs through lmao. Edit; I totally didn’t forget to put a read more on this long post haha idk what your talking about.

😭- What makes them cry? Do they cry easily?

Fate’s definitely a crier, her friends, family or pokemon getting hurt will make her burst into tears. She couldn’t even cry at all at one point after Nancy’s death, she’d cried herself to exhaustion to the point she couldn’t cry anymore. On a less angsty note she definitely the person who cries at the end of happy movies / shows.

Calamity on the other hand doesn’t really cry. Only thing to get him to cry will probably be Fate or someone else close to him dying. Even then that’ll only be after an extreme surge of anger.

🌋- How bad is their temper? is it a slow boil, or a instant explosion?

Fate probably wouldn’t blow up at someone, worse she’ll do is probably say something snarky as a response to her emotions and then feel extremely bad after word. If you actually make Fate angry you done fucked up.

Calamity? Oh yeah he gets angry a lot, especially under high stress he can easily snap at others. If someone was being a dick and that’s why he’s angry said person will probably leave with a broken nose.

🕷️- What is their biggest fear? do they have any irrational / mundane

Both are afraid of poison and steel types to an extent. They’re both fairies after all haha. Calamity is better at controlling it compared to Fate though. Where’s Calamity would probably just eye them suspiciously Fate will straight up scream. She’s gotten somewhat better at handling her fear due to being friends with Venam and Saki. Still, she nearly broke down to tears in Saki’s gym and actually cried in Venam’s rip. She also still screams whenever Venam begins to use her Serviper as a damn knife, but honestly, who wouldn’t be scared when some punk looking girl began using her snake as a knife?

Fate’s biggest fear is wether or not she has to return to her own world or not and leave behind her friends (or if she even can in the first place(. She doesn’t want to leave them but she also doesn’t know if she’s allowed to stay. She also knows Calamity is extremely worried about her. She’s not aware Calamity made his way to Aevium yet. Questions like this haunt her along her journey.

Calamity is biggest fear is the possibility that Fate is dead or badly hurt. Which, has technically happened like twice? Boy is not going to have a good time once he’s learn what his sister’s been through. He’ll probably kill someone tbh.

🙈- Whats a side of your oc that they don't want to show other people?

I don’t particularly know for Fate. Maybe telling the fact she’s a fae to her friends? But honestly they’ve learned she is an otherworldly being with the souls of 7 different people and is stuck in the body of someone who died 4 decades ago. At this point telling them she’s fae everyone will probably just be like “after the shit we’ve been through this is the least shocking thing”.

As for Calamity, maybe about how aggressive and cold he can get when pushed to the breaking point.

✂️- What is the "last straw" for them to cut someone out of their life? how easily do they let go of people?

Fate doesn’t let people go easily, she could honestly very easily fall into a toxic relationship. Last straw would have to be very extreme, like killing a friend or something.

Calamity doesn’t really hold onto people he’s not especially close with. He knows that relationships come and goes with time. He’s more willing to cut off people, if you start disrespecting him or his interest he’ll cut you off quickly.

🔪- How do they react to injury / misfortune befalling their loved ones (significant other, family, friends)? do they put themselves at blame?

Fate would begin to cry (see my first answer) and she would absolutely blame herself. She could be stuck on an island in the arctic and she’ll STILL jump through hoops to blame herself.

As for Calamity… well depends on how the injury / misfortune happened. If it was a natural disaster or mistake (broken bone, landslide, etc). He’d curse himself for not keeping a better eye out. If someone harmed a loved one? They are either dying or barely surviving.

🔫- Do they trust people easily? how easily will they turn their back to someone? have they been backstabbed before? will they betray someone if given an ultimatum?

Fate definitely trust people easily, to much for her own good. It’s one of the reasons she was so quick to accept Ren back (though their friendship definitely helped) despite the fact he’d backstabbed them and work with Team Xen during the whole Pyramid thing. You’d really need to give Fate a good ultimatum to betray someone, like going to destroy the whole world level ultimatum.

Calamity is more cautious, he hasn’t personally been backstabbed yet (major emphasis on the yet given he was found by Clear and Kieran, that shit ain’t gonna end well.) He won’t fully trust people, especially with his goals, if you don’t give him a good reason. Calamity absolutely would betray someone if he needed too but he wouldn’t enjoy it unless he absolutely despises the person he’s betraying.

💧- Random angst headcanon.

I keep telling one of my discord friends this, but if it’s your oc it ain’t a headcanon, it’s canon baby!!

The reason Calamity is so protective of Fate is because their parents died soon after her birth (their mother dying due to birth complications and their father sickness) and asked him to protect her.

My mind immediately went in two different directions when I read this.

Firstly, what if it happened by accident while the boys were in school with their crush?

The boys walk in class and because the truth quirk is mixed with a compulsion quirk, they just blurt things out the second they lay eyes on you, their crush.

"When you asked me if I'd seen your missing scarf and I said no, I lied, I put it in my nest because your scent makes me feel safe," Izuku yelped as soon as the words escaped, holding his hands over his mouth. He immediately dropped to his knees, spilling apologies, tears starting to appear.

"I want you to court me but I terrified of saying anything because I know you'll reject me," Shinsou's deadpan voice made a stark contrast to the words coming out of his mouth. He blinked once before immediately turning around and fleeing the classroom, a humiliated blush on his face.

"I have two notebooks filled with our names and plans for our wedding," Denki announced the room, immediately making everyone stop. Denki let his head fall against the desk with a bang. How embarrassing...

And secondly, what would happen if they got hit with this quirk while on patrol, and when their alpha comes to pick them up, they blurt out some questionable things in front of half of their coworkers and mentors.

"Normally I resent being sent home from work early but I'm hoping today that you'll knot me when we get home, because I've been thinking about it all day which is why I was distracted enough to get hit with a quirk," silence descended over the busy office as everyone looked at the normally reserved hero in shock. Slowly, snickers started to ring around the room. Shouto looked mortified, so you quickly grabbed him and dragged him out of the building, but not before one brave soul shouted out "enjoy your exciting evening!"

"I missed you so much," only five little words, but Bakugou flinched as soon as they were out before whirling around on everyone else in the room. "If anyone says anything, I'll blow the whole building up!" The truth quirk added some extra threat to his phrase so everyone just coughed and got back to work while Bakugou stormed out, dragging you behind him.

Above all else, Mallum wants to be remembered as someone important. Not in a history-making way; he just wants people to care about who he was once he's gone.

I don't know how easily Mallum trusts, and honestly, I don't think he does either. He's always had a hard time making friends, but I think he wants to open up to people. He definitely trusts more easily than Zerkev is comfortable with.

He'll turn his back on someone at the drop of a hat. He's probably the pettiest troll I have, and if you slight him in any way, he'll stew in it and/or throw a big boy tantrum about it.

He would consider Drevin leaving him as someone backstabbing him, though I'm inclined to disagree.

And as for betraying someone else... Uh. The answer is largely a no! He's difficult to bond with, but once he feels close to someone, he's fiercely loyal. Even now, there's nothing you could say to him to make him stop protecting Drevin. He's bonded to that man for life.

🖍️ CRAYON - what advice would you give to them?

See a therapist. Maybe with Zerkev.

Since Drevin's left, I don't think he goes out as much. Which sucks for him, seeing as he's a major extrovert... But he's had that guy around for so long, he probably doesn't feel that safe without him.

☁️ CLOUD - a soft headcanon

Despite their differences, Mallum and Zerkev do love each other. It's just... A really fraught relationship. Still, there's a lot of tenderness in there. I think Zerkev's his favorite person to play strategy board games with, despite the fact that he almost always loses.

Which, if you don't know, means Mallum enjoying those games with him is a pretty major deal. He doesn't usually get into competitions he can't win.
