Sure Jiang Cheng loved Jiang Yanli but that racoon had zero respect for his sister, from spitting on his sister's sacrifice by leading the seige to kill Wei Wuxian, to treat Jin Ling like he was a nuisance child and barely spare any word of love and care...
It's no way better to treasure your sister memories than to harm her dear shidi and treat her son "lovingly" with insulting, degrading words and threats, and occasional slappings.

“I’m gonna kill him.” Miles declared a little too calmly for Y/N’s liking. He looked for his shoes so he could get out of there.
Her heart had finally slowed enough to process what had just happened, the adrenaline wearing off.
Y/N worked the graveyard shift at a gas station a couple of blocks from her apartment complex. She had to save up for school and it rarely got busy that late. It wasn’t a bad deal.
She emptied out the register, but before taking out the trash, she texted Miles to see how far he was.
He always walked her home from work, however today she felt especially tired and Miles wasn’t answering his phone and it was barely a 10-minute walk to her apartment.
What she hadn’t expected was for someone to try and grab her on the way home, Miles had shown up at the exact right time to scare him off.
“Miles,” She called softly, using her voice to beg him to look at her. After a moment's hesitation, he finally looked over at her curled up at the edge of her bed.
He was so angry he was shaking. He snapped at Y/N on the way to her apartment he wasn’t mad at her but he needed someone to be mad at.
“Can you please come sit down?” She patted the spot on the bed beside her. He continued to pace around her room as if he were looking for something.
“Miles,” she begged again.
“I have to do something,”
“Just sit down,” The shakiness in her voice seemed to get him to listen. She grabbed the hand closest to her and held it tightly in her own, before leaning into his side.
She inhaled deeply, relaxing into his warmth and earthy scent.
“Don’t go, won’t change anything,”
“What would’ve happened if I wasn’t there?”
“But you were,” She reminded him.
“You could’ve been killed or worse.” He said. “And you want me to just do nothing?”
“I don’t want you to leave,” She countered. “Need you to stay with me,”
“I’m so sorry I was late,” He kissed her hand. Miles rarely apologized even when he absolutely should so she knew he meant it.
“Not your fault baby,” She mumbled into his shoulder to which he huffed incredulously. “I mean it.”
Instead of corroborating his innocence, he shed light on his thoughts.
“I keep thinking about you dying and it’s all because I didn’t get to you fast enough.” He sighed. “I can’t lose you too.”
Ever since his father's passing Miles had some pretty big shoes to fill. Head of the house, the son of a late police captain, but never just a kid.
Sucking in a breath Y/N immediately shifted her body to grab Miles’ face. She pressed his ear over her heart letting him listen to the continuous thump.
“I’m alive,” She whispered for only him to hear. “I’m right here.”
He twisted himself to hide his face in her chest and wrap his arms tightly around her waist, she ran her hands over the hair at the back of his head humming a song. Miles spoke up never moving his face “I’m supposed to be the one comforting you,”
With a smile never stilling her hand movements she responded. “You don’t have to be a big macho man all the time you know?”
He finally released her with a small dismissive yeah. She pushed herself off the edge of her bed with a groan, bending backward to stretch her back. Miles leaned back on his elbows to watch her.
She made her way over to her dresser before he sat up and then spoke up. “Where you going?”
“I wanna take a shower,” She answered grabbing a plain cotton shirt and some underwear. “I feel dirty,”
He seemed content with her answer and leaned back on his elbows again. “Will you come with me?”
He raised his eyebrow suggestively before she laughed and threw the shirt at him.
“Not like that,” She clarified “You’ll just sit there. I don’t wanna be alone.”
He nodded grabbing the shirt off his chest before following her to the bathroom.
The stuffy humid air surrounded Miles as he sat patiently on her toilet seat.
“You still here?” You called over the running water.
“Yeah babe, still here.”
“Can you talk to me?”
“What’you want me to say?”
“I dunno,” She shrugged despite the fact he couldn’t see her behind the shower curtain. “Just tell me about your day,”
He told her about how in AP BIO they did fetal pig dissections and he got to cut into the brain. By the end of his spiel, she was listening to the creaky twisting of the knob to turn the water off. After asking for the towel she was making him turn around so she could get dressed shushing him before he could make an offhand comment.
He followed her back to her room pulling her comforter back so she could slip in. The second she hit the cool sheets her eyes fluttered shut, sleep dragging her down. He tucked her in, and before he moved to grab her bonnet she gripped his arm keeping him still.
“Don’t go home”
“I won’t, I’m just gonna grab your bonnet, swear,”
“Mhm,” She agreed, releasing his arm and curling in on herself.
He slipped into the bed next to her wrapping his arms around her and pulling her back into his chest. She let out a hum of discomfort before turning to face him, her eyes still shut.
Miles stayed still watching her until her breathing evened out and her body relaxed. Shuffling onto his side to reach into his pocket he pulled his phone out pausing when she stirred at the noise.
Opening the messages app he swiped on his uncle's contact texting him
Some white guy in Bushwick green civic and skull neck tattoo. Call me when you find him.
Shutting his phone off with a click he readjusted himself.
Y/N could say whatever she wanted he was going to kill that man.

what are your thoughts on harry genuinely liking the half blood prince compared to hating snape
I mean, let's assess what Harry is working with:
Appeared to trigger a headache upon eye contact
Humiliated him in class for literally no reason
Is cold and quick to anger with the people he likes
Beef with his daddy
Beef with his godfather
Outed Remus as a werewolf, which not only got him sacked but destroyed his job prospects thereon
Death eater (<- ???)
Doesn't work with the Order when everyone convenes
Makes personal attacks almost unprompted
Snape is working overtime to make himself the most hateable and repulsive person ever. He's nasty. He doesn't treat children as vulnerable beginners who can learn from their mistakes. He hates all the people Harry likes. He probably has PDA.
Snape's textbook captures him in a really vulnerable place. He's more comfortable, presents himself factually as he is, and doesn't waste time complaining about anything but his lessons. More importantly, he just lost his best friend to his own actions, just as Harry lost Sirius. Harry focused on hating Snape and Draco to vent the anguish of getting Sirius killed in a way more comfortable to him, while also seeking guidance in the cool kid from a textbook that's helping his year go by a little easier. He doesn't know anything about this person, but it gives him some much-needed scaffolding. Harry's fixation on the HBP is as irrational as his obsessive loathing of Draco.
I think if Harry found out he was the half-blood prince before he did, it would have still soured him on the textbook. But if it were before the end of fifth year, when he had nowhere near as many negative emotions to process (especially after Snape's Worst Memory) Harry would be far more primed to digest Snape as a person and grudgingly respect his judgement.
But Harry wouldn't be nearly as dependent as he was in his grief so there wouldn't be a lot of intrigue for him. Snape would just be a guy he roughly understands, and thus trusts a little, because Harry only trusts that which he understands.

Alastor Headcanons
Early years
Alastor was an awkward kid who had hard time making friends, he was a center of school bullying
His father worked in the military line, he was extremely strict and abusive towards him and his mother, he disliked Alastor's behavior so he made him his daily target
Alastor was a mama's boy, she taught him to be creative and imaginative, she taught him to be kind and showed him how to have good manners
He often got hit by his father because he was trying to protect his mother
When Alastor was 17, his father got into a heated argument with his mother, he was almost going to kill her but Alastor stepped in, protected his mother and killed his father in the process
He had a mental breakdown and it broke him completely, his mother packed him a bag and told him to leave their little town and never come back
He used the funds and what his father left him to get himself into a good college, he originally planned on studying biology but he always found interest in multimedia, theater, journalism and such
He met his very first girlfriend, Jenny, on his second year at the university ( Jenny headcanons here) and he fell in love so hard, to the point that he poured his heart out for her and let his guards down, she knew everything there's to know about him, she helped him and supported him, made him move on from everything he's been through, she encouraged him to pursue a career as a radio host
After her murder, he tracked down her murderer and made sure to avenge her death in the most gruesome way by killing everyone they loved and leaving them to be the last
He moved on to another city and started a fresh
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Marriage
He met his wife at a book store, they were both reaching out for the same book so he decided to let her have it on the condition that she gives it to him once she's done
She was beautiful, had some characteristics that reminded him of both of his mother and his beautiful, spontaneous, carefree Jenny, which made her the perfect partner for him
He fell in love with what she represented more than her at the beginning, afterwards, he proposed, and their marriage went by smoothly
He never told her of his past, although she knew he loved his mother and that he used to be close with her, hearing about her death devastated him, especially since his mother requested he doesn't visit her on her death bed to protect him
He never told her of his sexuality, that he was asexual, but she noticed something was wrong, that's why she never insisted on any sexual advances
Alastor always sheltered his wife and only showed her his good side, in his head, if he showed her how much of a monster he was, she would get hurt, just like his mother, just like his Jenny
She learned about his murders when one day, he returned home very late, she was crying because she thought he was killed but he was exhausted and he just burst that he was the murderer
She tired to live a normal life but then, they gave up and decided to move to a secluded area in the woods, he was taking a walk after a fight with his wife in the woods to calm down and that's where he was shot, mistaken for a deer
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Hell Days
Vox was his very personal fanboy, he was swooning over him, but Alastor was clueless, he barely navigated women, let alone men, so when Vox asked him to join him, he thought he meant in the Vees tower, he declined respectfully, not knowing that Vox was really asking him out
He first met Rosie when he arrived at hell and everyone was dismissing him, he bumped into him and he was still processing everything, hating his looks, missing his mother, Jenny and his wife, she felt bad for him and she helped him navigate hell, and ever since, they've been best friends, she noticed him as a nervous, awkward guy who can easily feel uncomfortable so she did her best to understand his ticks and make him feel as comfortable as possible
He hates feeling inferior and dismissed as it was something people usually did back when he was alive, that's why he had to be the star of every show, the most powerful, the smartest, the funniest, the most helpful, he had to have everyone's attention and admiration or else he feels threatened and unseen
He fought against Sir Pentious and Cherri Bomb a few times but he never killed them because they validated him and didn't disregard him, he saw them as worthy opponents, therefore, their battles were built on mutual respect even if they wouldn't say the exact words to each other
He thinks of Nifty as a friendly companion rather than a soul he owns because she doesn't judge his crazy but indulges it, he respects Husk as a soul that he owns but Husk questions him, so their dynamic is complicated
(more to be added)

I feel like making more angst today (but it has comfort don't worry)
Same scenario, different observers.
Yanqing is told to go on a patrol with another cloud knight, in the stargazer Navilia. (Sry if I got the spelling wrong)
The cloud knight seemed to have bad intentions with the young boy's youth and naiveness.
Everything was fine until the cloud knight and yanqing came to some secluded part of the area, And that's when the knight takes his move
He manages to pin Yanqing to one of the walls, Easily putting a hand on his hands and causing him to drop his sword, Yanqing wasn't on great terms with strength, The cloud knight however had better strength than him.
The cloud knight had worse ideas to r. Yanqing, while he can only helplessly call for help, but who cares? No one will hear him especially in this area.
Well, accept for one person.
1. caelus
He's probably defeating some abominations around and getting materials or just- yea he's just roaming around and wondering there is no trashcans in Xianzhou (sad)
That's until he hears some screaming and yelling to 'stop' or 'help' but becoming muffled.
He recognised it.
It was yanqing.
He was around the area? What happened? Did he run into a bigger enemy?
That's when he came near and saw
That the cloud knight was in the process of trying to remove Yanqing's clothes, Tho the knight kept on getting hit by Yanqing's legs, The cloud knight was sure trying to SA Him.
Caelus just launched himself and his bat and litterally bonked the knights face, causing the cloud knight to fall down immediately and probably faint.
Yanqing is not so relieved yet relieved, He takes caelus back to the inns, And thanks him so much and tries to do something for caelus but caelus just refuses.
2. Yunli
Now, Yunli just in the area to fight some abominations she finds randomly before she hears screams, At first, she thinks it's Yanqing being weak but then she keeps on hearing him crying? And telling whoever he was telling to 'stop'.
She immediately knew something was up.
She rushed to that area, just to find the cloud knight trying to fuck yanqing to keep him quiet,
She just stands there before the cloud knights looks back, she's already using old metal and scaring the shit out of the knight and faints.
Yanqing feels embarassed that he is being saved by his rival and didn't fight back but the more overwhelming thing is that about how the cloud knight touched him, he didnt like it, tears just flooded out, he hated being this weak.
Yunli, who'd usually tease Yanqing and be rude to him, Didn't do it to him, Realising the goddamn pain that the knight tried to do to yanqing, She would definitely tell this to General jing yuan and her grandpa.
She managed to get Yanqing to the alchemy commision, they didn't talk the whole way, not did they wanted, Yanqing was so goddamn traumatized and didnt want to speak the whole way.
He thanked her alot, He felt weak, Yunli was somewhat proud of herself? She didn't know.
The cloud knight did file a crime for Almost killing a member but he was brutally exposed by yunli about what he was trying to do to yanqing (And trust me, Jing yuan was pissed.)
3. March 7th
March was sent to run 15 miles by the order of yanqing for training, But soon heard noises coming from a secluded area, She decided to ignore it until
She heard Yanqing's cries and beggings
Upon taking the route, she came to a horrifying sight, Yanqing was being.. She can't describe it
Honestly, she never felt alot of rage before
But that cloud knight, Trying to do the deed with yanqing? A FOURTEEN YEAR OLD KID??!
She lunged forward kicked the cloud knight and beat him up brutally.
While yanqing was frantically putting on his lose clothings and trying his best not to start crying again.
March reassured Yanqing he was safe, hugged him tight and got him back to the divine seat of foresight, Yanqing stopped crying and fell asleep by that time.
as for the cloud knight,
When jing yuan got to know the situation, he was pissed as hell (The cloud knight was never seen again)
Funfact : I wrote this at like 1 AM
Should I make a Dan heng finding Yanqing and Feixiao finding Yanqing version too? Lemme know!!

I think Omi may be the character with the most on-screen trauma
He had so many actual traumatic events
Especially since Omi's also the youngest and least experienced with the world
He doesn't really have a reliable place to go to for comfort or to run away to if he needs space to process, so he's also the least able to cope whenever he's traumatized, so it's always unresolved
An incomplete, unordered list:
Watching Klofange sink under the water and refreeze right as Omi and Klofange became close, and being so catatonic with grief and confusion over it that Kimiko and Clay had to drag him away
Being betrayed by his first friend who he believed in and trusted more than anyone, and then learning that even when they all genuinely thought Omi was dead, that friend still didn't change his mind. And he still almost let them all to be crushed to death a little later
Later being gaslit and beat the shit out of by that same former friend to be tricked into thinking he was being betrayed again
Omi thinking he's finally found his family and a home, but they're a mean, uncaring old couple who steals from him and treats him horribly. And then he learns they aren't even real, so he went through desperately trying to appease abusive parents but still is lost with no family ties at the end of it
Omi thinking that he witnesses himself accidentally kill his own mother, who hates him so much she won't even take his hand to save her own life
Got tricked by his mentor into getting his soul ripped in half and almost killing his friends while he wasn't in his right mind
Abandoned by his friends when he's sick and then kidnapped by Hannibal while Omi's left wandering around homeless, then about to be killed and turned into energy for Hannibal via lightning
Omi watching old Jack brutally murder all of the other monks right in front of him
Omi watching Chase drink the soup again even after everything Omi's been trying to do and was willing to sacrifice just to keep Chase on the Xiaolin side this time
Being convinced by Vlad to just. kill himself
He's just a little kid!

Sonic 3 Spoiler Post Wheyyyyy
I’m gonna talk about literally everything so if you still haven’t seen the movie then scroll away, I will be adding images a week after this post goes up as well so yeah. This is NOT going to be well thought out at all it’s just going to be a ramble fest because why not shejsjjejejs
The fact that they made Live And Learn a song Maria wrote gives it SO much more meaning and a reason for the song to be included in the movie (besides fanservice lmao), a story line centred around the process of grief culminating with a grandiose reprise of a song made by the person one of the characters is grieving? CINEMA
The third act was incredible of course but god I wish they stopped going back and forth with the Robotnik stuff, the switch ups between the immaculate fight choreography and the slapstick bullshit really began to run its course and I was just waiting for peak to start again
Speaking of those fight scenes OH MY GOD THE FIGHT CHOREOGRAPHY IS SOME OF THE BEST THIS SERIES HAS EVER HAD IT WAS ON SOME DRAGON BALL TYPE SHIT. When Super Sonic and Super Shadow were beating the everloving fuck out of each other in different countries I was stimming like crazy
Knuckles is the unsung MVP of this movie and I’m so happy they got to show his character development in a really natural way, he’s really become a big brother figure for the other two and the way he tried to talk Sonic down after Tom almost died really got to me he’s come so far 🥹
When the trailer fakeout shot came up I was LOSING IT 😭
Also I want to know what the cinematographer was smoking because some of the shots in this thing are BEAUTIFUL, especially the ones in space (when Sonic and Shadow enter their super forms and go around like blazing comets I was going crazy)
The colour grading is a huge step up from the last two movies as well, you can tell the budget went up because the models here are stunning (especially Shadow’s)
I wish Live And Learn got to play a little longer but I’m just happy they included it either way (when the vocals came in so did I)
Agent Stone continues to be one of my favourite human characters in the entire series, I honestly wouldn’t mind them adding him to the games because his dynamic with Eggman is way better than whatever Orbot and Cubot have going on
They definitely listened to the critiques for the second movie as well because the human stuff has been very toned down and I honestly think it’s for the better (and this is coming from someone who actually really likes Rachel idk man she’s just fun)
I’m pretty satisfied with how they handled Gerald outside of the usual Jim Carrey shenanigans, portraying him as a madman so consumed by grief that he’s completely willing to let Earth and himself die out of pure spite was crazy, I saw someone say that this is how he’d act if he didn’t get executed 50 years ago and I can see that pretty clearly. I loved the glimpses of humanity we get of him as well (the way he referred to both Maria AND Shadow as “kids” in the flashback made me feel like he genuinely did care for him at that point and the death of Maria just threw him off the deep end)
The scene of Shadow and Gerald finding Maria’s body was DEVASTATING, the way Shadow didn’t know if she was dead at first and all it took was to see how heartbroken Gerald was to figure it out killed me 😔
Speaking of which they actually did a rewrite for Shadow’s backstory while keeping a lot of the same elements and I’m pretty happy with it for the most part, him coming to earth in a comet is black arms foreshadowing 100% and the flashbacks of him and Maria just hanging out and having fun like normal kids was really nice (the inclusion of the biolizard being the monster in the movie they were watching was really cool too I didn’t even notice that at first until someone pointed it out)
Despite these changes he was handled SO well, Keanu did a great job voicing him and to hear that he actually wanted to play the character made me so happy, it’s almost like getting people who give a shit about the source material is a really important factor of making adaptations succeed idk
The reason why Maria’s around though is kind of weak? She isn’t ill in this version and the only reason she’s in the lab is because Gerald takes her everywhere? That’s it? Why couldn’t they have said that he adopted her or something? (Or maybe her parents had an incurable illness that Gerald tried and failed to help with so he took her in after the fact idk)
Ben Schwartz popped OFF in the third act god I love it watching whimsical characters completely losing their shit after they’ve been pushed too far
The fact that the iconic “announcement” was changed to a tragic yaoi send off is beautiful, I hope Agent Stone comes back in future movies his dynamic with Tails was really cute
Pansexual Eggman is now canon we are so back
Loved the brief snippet of E.G.G.M.A.N, it played for five seconds but I was stimming anyway
The soundtrack is also a huge step up from the first two movies as well (also Throw It All Away is one of the song titles holy shit)
The post credits scene was PEAK I love Metal Sonic and Amy’s designs so much, Im really interested to see if it’ll be a loose adaptation of Sonic CD or it’ll be its own thing (maybe Amy and Metal are originally from the games’ bad timeline and that’s how Silver shows up later? I’m not sure, I just want Silver fans to get SOMETHING they’ve been fucking starving bro I feel bad for them 😭)

I can't imagine Jackson liking Normie school. His favourite subject is Mad Science, he is a mad scientist.
Regular science lessons are going to bore him to death. He can't even explode things here, the fuck?
Jackson doesn't belong in the Normie world, he's still part monster even if you ignore Holt (which you shouldn't.)
If he got bullied for being part Normie, you think he's not gonna get bullied for being part monster here?
In a world where Holt was almost executed on Halloween for graffiti, you think they're gonna take Jackson's heritage kindly?
Not to mention, Jackson is a loner and an social outcast. He just got used to Monster High and now he's the new kid all over again.
It's such a pain to go through the process of settling in again.
Especially now that he has to actively hide Holts existence because he might be killed on sight.
And Jackson might look Normie , but even by Normie standards he's off. Probably gonna get detention for dyed hair when it's completly natural.
He has to change his lingo and become the person they expect him to be. Oh sure he was bullied at Monster High but he atleast he could be himself.
Now he doesn't even have that anymore.

Any treebark headcannons for One Piece? Or even just them separately if its spoiler territory?
Oh absolutely :D
So, this au mimics the events of Third Life (pretty much to a T) for a long time, Martyn played nice with Ren while trying to figure out a way to escape the ship, but before he can do that they were attacked by Etho's crew, and Ren basically let them take whatever they want, at which point Martyn's thought process is essentially, "Oh my fucking God he is so pathetic, why was I ever scared of this guy" and yells at him; this same incident provokes Ren to stand up to Scar when HIS crew corners them, and by then Martyn was basically like, "I can't leave now, this idiot's gonna get himself flayed alive" and then Martyn got dragged into a pirate war :)
Ren had already developed the biggest crush on Martyn while the other was actively scheming how to kill him and get off the ship; he did not realize he was crushing until wayyyyyy later lol
Martyn hated Ren for a while--like, genuinely months he went around playing nice with him while plotting an assassination attempt behind closed doors; every scheme he came up with was even wilder than the last (he never went through with any of them)
When they eventually do come to trust each other (this would be after Ren stands up to Scar) they find they actually work incredibly well as a fighting team, to the point even Ren's crew are impressed by how well they end up meshing together
Ren has seen Martyn donning the sniper role exactly ONE time, and only for an emergency situation, but it's literally never left his mind; he thinks Martyn being a sniper is one of the most gorgeous things he's ever seen in his life (he's so down bad it's not even funny)
Ren's moon transformation form is different from his usual transformation forms, in that he's basically just a full wolf; Martyn really...REALLY likes this form (wolf Ren is very cuddly, but especially to Martyn)
aaaand a few separate headcanons! for fun!!
Martyn Things:
Martyn has a huge burn scar on his hand, from a gunpowder explosion when he was playing with a pistol as a kid--no gun safety in my imaginary pirate world, everyone (he also stole this gun from his village's mayor, and almost got arrested for it at age 10)
Martyn taught himself how to shoot, and is actually a really good sniper--he almost never does that, though, because he finds it excruciatingly boring
Martyn has never actually killed anybody, despite what he'd have you believe; he's never shot to kill, only to incapacitate
Martyn's never liked the Marines because when he was a kid he would always butt heads with the local base soldiers, and got detained by them a lot--never seriously, but he definitely had a reputation
When word got out that Martyn was working with the Red King, the Marines from around his childhood village all claimed they knew all along (they did not)
Martyn, funnily enough, is more of a cat person; Ren is devastated
Ren Things:
Ren was born into piracy, and has always lived on board a ship; he didn't actually intend to become a devil fruit user, when he was really young, his crew raided a Marine ship carrying lots of valuables to a main base, one of which was the Lycaon model of the Inu-Inu no mi--Ren got into the loot and ate the fruit because, quote, "It looked delicious! ...it wasn't."
Ren LOOOOOVESS dogs; everybody thinks it's just a bit because of his devil fruit, but Ren's just always loved dogs; he's never actually owned one, though--his dream is to adopt three of them when he eventually retires from pirate life
Because he grew up on a pirate ship, Ren's conversation and people skills are pretty, um...unique lol this man would not know subtlety if it slapped him in the face
Ren is genuinely very popular, although he doesn't really know how or why, and more often than not he deflects romantic advances without even realizing they're happening; his crew finds it very funny; so when he eventually DOES end up falling in love with Martyn, most of them are convinced it's some elaborate prank
Similar to Luffy, Ren has an incredible sense for people--he's almost always right when it comes to people's intentions; the issue is (at least until Martyn) that he's usually too nice to do much about it)

My reference sheet for N! Sporting a new coat, hairstyle, and a bit more confidence. Story below, from N's POV but it's written in 3rd person, kinda? Long asl
2 Decades have passed since everything involving the Solver, N has recovered all his memories. He's tired but healing, and he has his newfound family by his side, especially his badass goth wife(whos color is on his hand-lights), and two incredible lil biscuits he calls his children, granted they're not little anymore. He knows his worth and firmly believes that the Solver is the only one to blame, Cyn was the unwilling puppet in his eyes. He even went as far as fighting and almost killing J when she insulted Cyn.
Within the first decade, N and Uzi were married and were living peacefully within the colony. One day N began feeling "off", his battery would drain quicker, he began craving oil to the point his system was going into Hunter Mode and attacking Drones. This was enough to push N to got to the doctors for a proper maintenance scan, leaving with confusion and fear. N was carrying code, the kind one makes for an U.N.N.
The only problem? N and Uzi never mixed their codes together, let alone even discussed having kids.
Over the course of the next few months, the code develops, N and Uzi prepare while still being cautious about WHAT is developing in N's system. The code reaches 90% downloading and all robo-hell breaks loose. The cravings come back full swing, though instead of just oil but drone metal as well. N leaves the colony in a violent frenzy, destroying the Corpse Spires with scary efficiency. By the time Uzi and co. find N, the inside of the spire resembles the flesh hole the Solver had created. N himself was at its center, glaring at them with the symbol of the Solver on his visor, along with a creature at his tail.
The code reached 100%, the last 10% took 1 month to process. N was forced into his own head while this went on, realizing the absolute horror of what had been inside him. Both in his software and his body, this THING had willed itself into existence through the solver. Using N as nothing more than an incubator, hadn't the Solver taken enough from him!? It had broken him robo-God knows how many times, being the favorite of an eldritch horror only made him for disgusted.
//:absoluteSolver string = TRUE
Was this a final 'fuck you' from the Solver? A new, permanent reminder, a robo-conduit sent to destroy what life was left on Copper-9, born through its favorite drone. Honestly, death was looking very appealing. What would Uzi think? Would she even want to be with him after this, what sane drone would!?
The pain...the pain, it never stopped. It had the nerve to move around, fluttering little movements. It made him sick; he was certain his voice audio would mute itself from the screaming.
Make it stop, makeitstopemakeitstopMAKEITSTOPMAKEITSTOPMAKEI T S T O P MA K E I T S T O P MAKE. IT. STOP-
Something rips him open; he hardly feels it. It vaguely feels like teeth, then there's crying. Who's crying? Something nudges him, its soft and gentle. It's making low, soft noises; N finds it comforting. He feels something cover him and wrap him up. There is vague familiarity in the texture. There are voices, Uzi? V? Thad?
"Hang on N!" Said one voice, Thad?
"You really gonna let this thing take you out?!" said another, V?
"N! N please stay awake! You think I'm gonna let you leave after everything!?"
...Uzi?

finally got around to watching The Unsleeping City and I'm so obsessed with Pete. immaculate vibes. perfect character.
Anyway I'm halfway through episode 8 and I can't stop thinking about the previous episode, We Need to Talk About Pete. Especially that scene where Robert Moses shows him that video of Kingston admitting that he'd kill him if necessary, and Pete assumes that it's just taken out of context. Which is funny and sorrowful because this is a rare instance where context makes his statement 1000x worse.
And I had to pause Subway Skirmish and write this quickie just exploring what would happen if Pete heard the whole conversation, terrible context included. Its mostly work for word until the end, the only difference being that Ricky agrees more with Esther and basically proposes an intervention, which gets to Pete in a whole other way.
I'm predicting that Pete and the gang make up almost immediately. Either at the end of this episode or the next one. Which is really sweet and affirming, but I love the idea of pvp and Pete actively fighting the rest of the group, maybe embracing being the voice of nightmares as well as dreams, isolating himself with nightmares, etc.
Anyway, I cant finish the episode I'm on until I post this. mom said. Enjoy 1.5k I literally wrote instead of sleeping. This is a first draft, unedited, probably full of needless angst and grammatical errors, I wrote it in like an hour and refuse to read it again. Enjoy.
Robert held the phone out to Pete. Its screen showed a video cued up to play.
“Listen, kid, I’m not trying to force you into anything here. I just want you to have all the information, know who you’re really working with.”
“I know who I’m working with,” Pete lied. But he was looking down at the screen which showed his new – friends? Associates? Comrades in arms? – sitting down at a table. The angle was high and the quality kind of shit, like it was taken from old security footage, but Pete could clearly make out Kingston’s expression, frozen in something like rage. It was a weird expression on him, one Pete hadn’t seen in all the time he’d known the man.
“Just look,” Robert said. “Come to your own conclusions.”
Pete takes the phone away from Robert, hating himself for it. But, goddamn it, despite it all, he was still fucking human. Even knowing Robert’s game – he could practically smell the shit he was talking – he couldn’t pass up on free information. If only so that he could know what Robert knew, so he couldn’t use it as extortion later.
Yeah, Pete thought, real convincing.
He pressed play. The image on screen jumped, showing a much calmer and collected Kingston. It was reassuring for all of one second, because when the recorded Kingston opened his mouth, the words he said sent Pete’s stomach rocketing to the floor.
“I mean, here’s the truth Alejandro if things get out of hand, we put him down. Straight up.”
He barely hears Kugrash’s and Sofia’s protests, ignores the revelations that Kugrash has human kids and a whole human life he abandoned, stuck trying to process what he just heard.
Kingston is speaking again, saying that ten out ten times he’d choose the city over Pete and that’s fine, really, that’s fine. Pete’s not selfish enough to thing that he matters more than the entire population of New York City. And Kingston is supposed to be the voice of the city or something. It’s basically his job. Pete should be used to people in his life choosing their careers over him.
Sofia asks a question that’s been bothering him for a while, and Alejandro answers confuses him at first – he talks about someone named Jackson and a Concrete Order and some other things Pete doesn’t really understand until…
“It is not fair to the people who have come to this city or have been born here and lived here their entire lives, that their wellbeing, safety, and in fact, even their life or death should be thrown into chaos because of what amounts to often a joke.”
Pete thinks back to the bug monsters that had attacked Astoria. Despite all the destruction and chaos and death, at no point had he sensed any real malice coming from them. They had been excited and grateful and fully unaware of why what they were doing was wrong. To call them evil implied that they knew right from wrong and actively chose it, but they were just doing what they did just because.
Alejandro had become more animated as he spoke, gesturing wildly with his hands, but now he lowered his voice enough that Pete had to raise the volume and lean in to hear it. “Peter actively courts the darkness more than the light.” Alejandro’s back was turned to the camera, but Pete could see the way his shoulders hunched forward, as if he were sharing some great secret or revelation.
Suddenly his hands feel clammy with sweat. He wants to pause the video but can’t, can’t let Robert know that any of its getting to him, so instead he watches as a group of people talk about him like he’s something dangerous, talk about locking him up – you guys have to tell me if you’re cops, right? – and taking his drugs and putting him down like he’s infected. Like he’s a rabid dog that can’t be trusted not to bite.
And, looking around, Pete hates to admit that they’re right. What defense does he have, sitting in a vampiric nightclub filled with dead-eyed humans selling their bodies for a little cash? What defense does he have when he’s so used to that stare that it barely registers? How many times has he sold drugs to people with that same look in their eyes, desperate and empty?
Pete knows what kind of person he is, what kind of people he runs with. And like Robert had pointed out, he’s not exactly subtle. Pete knows he’s dirt. Robert called him a businessman. Kugrash seems to think he’s just some troubled kid who needs a little guidance. Kingston and Alejandro think he’s a ticking bomb.
But Pete knows what he is. He’s a homeless drug dealer who sells to monsters and children, whose only friends are nightmares and people who want him dead. Fuck them, he thinks, who fucking needs them.
Some girl – Esther, he thinks, but it’s hard to remember when her back is to the screen – voices her support of Kingston.
Ricky is facing the camera, so Pete can see his face when he agrees with her. The grainy footage blurs his features, but he still looks sad when he says, “Obviously, Pete needs help. He’s not in a good state physically, financially, or mentally. He a danger to the city, sure, but he’s just as much a danger to himself. I’m not saying we lock him up, but what if we just supervised him. Helped him get clean and sober, and then maybe that would help him calm down a little, give him a little more control over what he’s doing.”
Hearing Ricky – perfect fucking Mr. March with his washboard abs and crest-white smile – talk about staging an intervention is almost more painful than watching Kingston plan murder.
How fucking dare they. What, they know him for one fucking week and decide it’s their business what he does with his life. They’re total strangers, who cares if they think he’s dangerous. Of course he’s dangerous; it’s New York fucking City, everyone here’s dangerous. The people right now discussing his murder probably more dangerous than he is. But them coming after his livelihood? His medicine? Sure, he could probably live without the coke and shit, but what happens when they come for his anti-psychotics? His Zoloft? His Testosterone?
Would they decide that’s unnecessary too, decide to take that away from him for his own safety?
Sofia, previously his strongest defender, looks to be agreeing with Ricky. Only Kugrash is pushing back, talking about self-medication and withdrawal. But Kingston’s talking over him and then the video cuts, ended, back to the paused scene showcasing Kingston mid-yell.
A voice from the corner of his mind he’s beginning to associate with his magic speaks. They know nothing of your struggles… they do not know your pain as we do… they would have you imprisoned or worse, without trial or jury… we can help you escape…
A shadow appears in front of him, and Pete nearly jumps out of his skin. But its only Robert asking for his phone back. Pete hands it over without a word.
“I hope you have considered what you have seen.” He says.
“I might need some time to think it over,” Pete says, which is true. “I know the area, I might head across the street a get a drink.”
Robert frowns. “Why go to another bar and pay when you can get drinks here for free?”
His tone immediately sets Pete on edge. Between his dad, Alejandro, and now Kingston and Ricky, he’s so goddamn tired of men telling him what to do. And Pete’s not some fresh teenager new to the scene; he’s not stupid enough to accept free drinks from a suit.
“No, actually, I think I’d really rather leave.” He says, moving to the exit. Robert lets him leave.
On his way out, Pete catches sight of his reflection in a mirror. It covers a wall of the club floor to ceiling. What he sees reminds him of that one vampire movie, Van Helsing. Most people in the club vanish in the mirror. It’s just him and Robert and the other humans reflected. Robert excluded, Pete thinks that he fits right in with this crowd. It’s his first time seeing his own reflection in days; bloodshot sunken eyes and unwashed hair, his skin visibly damp with sweat. He looks like any other homeless junkie. How could anyone think he’s dangerous? How could anyone think he’s an important player in this game?
The mirror people stare back without seeing. The voice of magic whispers… but you are important… you are important to us…
Pete turns to keep walking, makes his way out onto the street now bustling with city life. He was stupid to think this new group of friends wouldn’t fall apart or turn on him. They were too good to be true anyway. How could he have forgotten that he belonged here in the gutter with the rest of his people. Homeless junkies and petty thieves.
He wouldn’t forget again.

my fav version of tim drake is similar to the post of yours that made me follow you
my fav tim drake is that time he got an uncle to avoid adoption taken to the extreme. hes never been robin, not a bat, but he does follow them on patrol taking pics and occasionally intervening and they cant quite manage to stop him. hes dick grayson's nemesis because he no matter where he is, all he can think about is finally getting that kid to sit down and eat a proper meal and take a nap. jason comes back from the dead and tim has been deterring batman from violence with a squirt gun instead of a robin and jason almost hates him more for it. damian thinks he is an excellent operative, held in high esteem by his grandfather, and at first tim doesn't know what to make of that but then starts putting him to use for shenanigans. you get the idea
Oh, God, but Tim maintaining a professional relationship with Ra's al Ghul is everything I've ever desired? This weird old undead motherfucker is constantly bugging him about joining up and being his right-hand man and conquering the unruly world together and bringing peace and justice once and for all, blah blah blah, but Tim just isn't interested in that. Sounds like a lot of responsibility to have at his age, frankly. He's good just calling in the occasional favor and redirecting Batman's fury with the League of Assassins.
Also, like...I've officially started tagging these things "morally gray tim drake has my heart" because he does, y'all. He does! I do so very much enjoy the interpretation of Tim Drake as a morally gray character regardless of age (but especially in the Red Robin run) and I do think it's a valid way lens through which to see him.
The thing that makes Tim stand out to me is this undercurrent of tone to everything he does which implies that he views himself as inconsequential to the narrative. I might be in the minority here and that's fine(ish), but I've always thought about what would drive an emotionally abused and neglected 13-year-old child to try everything in his power to save his hero from killing himself and/or becoming public enemy #1. And maybe I'm projecting, but it always seems to come back to: "Well, I don't trust anyone else to be capable of doing it." He tried to talk to Dick, and Dick wouldn't take Robin back up, but Nightwing wasn't what Batman needed. And sure, they could've waffled about and tried to find someone else to be Robin. But Tim was right there and in the absence of anyone else he felt was qualified to do it, he just...did it.
Tim sees Batman (and Nightwing and Robin by extension) as being so incredibly significant to the overarching narrative. He knows that Batman doesn't really reduce crime, not in a city with local politics as corrupt as Gotham. He knows that it doesn't functionally matter if Batman gets this guy and not that guy, because it all shakes out the same. When there's a huge crisis, when Gotham City needs a symbol of everything that's still good here, still worth saving, Batman shows up and saves the day. Batman isn't allowed to succumb to human flaws like grief, despair, and outrage. People need him to mean more than that. Tim will do whatever it takes to secure and maintain that almost otherworldly level of heroism for Batman. If it gets him dirty in the process, he doesn't mind. Tim Drake won't be remembered. Batman will.
Of course, this is also why I think it's so fucking funny that Tim is at a point where he's just throwing death wish ideas at a wall until something sticks and hollering at the universe, "JUST KILL ME ALREADY!!!!"
#morally gray tim drake has my heart#tim drake#red robin#robin#this is just my personal take on him#may be unpopular but you don't have to interact if you dislike it#which is polite speak for 'i will punch you in the gob if you're mean about this'#cr1mson answers#tim drake's tendency to fight anything that moves

I get so bored of seeing William Afton portrayed as a soulless inhuman cartoon supervillain. Like sure, that's a very valid portrayal, and seems to be something Scott Cawthon himself certainly doesn't mind, but it just feels empty to me. I think that we're all capable of evil, when pushed far enough. It's part of being human. And Afton, like the rest of us, is still human. That certainly doesn't absolve him of any blame, of course. Evil actions are evil regardless of how human the person committing them is. It's more satisfying to portray him as complicated, to me. The way I tend to write him, is almost like two different men. Pre and post "incident". (Bite of '83). Before, he was a curious, happy if not a little restlessly, charismatic, extroverted, etc. Hell, he's canonically over 6 feet tall, if you consider the movie any sort of canon. Do you know any children immediately comfortable with men that tall? I know when I was a kid I was terrified of super tall men unless they were overwhelmingly gentle, kind, and approachable. I love to write him in such a way that, before the incident, he's fairly normal. He's a bit erratic, probably undiagnosed ADHD, he's absolutely obsessive, but kind. He's doing his dream job, and it shows! He's got sparks in his eyes, and an entertainer's personality. Post-incident he's hollowed out. The grief was something he didn't know how to process, and it grows and destroys him from the inside out like mold. Like rot. This parallels Springtrap well, in my opinion! I love to portray him as a man who can't take a problem that's unsolvable. To him, there's always a way to make something happen. He was working on technology in the 80s that was unheard of. We definitely didn't have autonomous animatronics like that in the 80s in our universe, especially not for applications like restaurants. So, in his mind, there's _always_ a way to solve a problem if you think and try and work hard enough. But this doesn't work when someone's struggling with death. Death isn't solvable. He can't handle the loss of his son, can't accept it, so he defaults to trying to "solve" it. That being his undoing is incredibly satisfying to me personally.
It's so flat to me to see him being evil from day 1. There are characters that it works very well for to be that way! Bill Cipher is a good example if you ask me! He's not human, it's easy to have him be this one dimensional (or two I suppose in Bill's case) villain without delving deep into what he's feeling, because he's scary that way. It's scarier, in his case, to imagine that he's just evil for the sake of evil, and seeks chaos for the pure sake of chaos. With someone like Afton, we can assume that he hadn't done something like kill someone before the events of the series, and he would have been at LEAST in his 40's. So it begs the question, what motivates someone to do something so heinous, so awful? Especially with no prior warning signs of such behavior. Dude was married with 3 kids. A business partner, tons of success, and no strange behavior before his late adulthood. So, what causes someone to snap like that so late in life? THAT is the part that's interesting to me. That's why I write him as complex. (Not that I write well, I don't.) I think he's absolutely a horrible person. He's done unforgivable things and he doesn't seem to have the same kind of remorse for that kind of thing that most of us would. Hell, he's a boomer, he probably wasn't the greatest father in the world even if you DO portray him as complicated. But I love portraying him as someone who also feels normal emotions. Joy, sadness, the whole nine yards. I think his kids probably loved him. Parent-child relationships are complicated. Nobody's parents are perfect, and before any of his children were, well, dead, I'm sure they all loved him like every kid loves their parents before they're aware enough to realize their faults. THAT is interesting to me. It's relatable from both a child's perspective and the perspective of an adult who knows that we're all just sort of winging adulthood, and nobody _really_ knows what they're doing. Okay anyways, rant over for now but hell knows I'll post another almost identical one of these at some point. Feel free to discuss in replies if you want!

IM SO SORRY FOR NO DAILY HOBIE HC YESTERDAY MY INTERNET CRASHED FOR HOURS- ANYWAYS HERE WE GO Daily Hobie HC! More general Hobie hcs but angsty>:) (I have so much more muaha) - Hates the silent treatment. He would rather try to talk things out rather than be ignored, as it brings him back to when he was a kid. Nobody ever listened to him and often ignored him, being the most 'useless' sibling of nine. Hobie would rather you treat him like absolute shit during a fight than ignore him. Yell, insult, physical pain, was better than the silent treatment for him. - Personally, I think that Hobie had a small lotus tattoo on the back of his left shoulder, a hidden semi-colon in the front petal. Being how his childhood was, and the traumatic imagery of the riots, blood, gore, guts.. It takes a toll, especially during teenage years. Hobie almost even felt disappointed that the radioactive spider didn't kill him. He deserved it after all, didn't he? - Knows all of his siblings birthday by heart. Every time their birthdays roll around, he'll wear/do something that he remembered they liked doing as tribute. Hobie doesn't know how many are alive, or dead, but he hopes they're doing well either way. - Very desensitized to his own sorrow and grief. He grew up too fast, and suppressed it to the point where it takes him a lot to shed tears now or feel grief. It's usually just numbness. Hobie learning to get his inner child back was a slow process for sure. - For a period of time before the Spider Society and everything, Hobie truly believed he was destined to be alone. That everyone leaves in the end, and he was cursed as someone who would live, breathe, and die alone. - On top of that, his nightmares feel like constant taunts, replaying gruesome memories just to poke fun at him. Like he wasn't a good person. Like Hobie deserved to not feel any sort of warmth. That the Earth was cold, heartless and cruel. - As a teenger, Hobie distanced himself from his family as they disappeared one by one to somewhere where he didn't know. He knew where his mother went, and was devastated by her deaf. She didn't have any more love for her children, but she kept a roof over his head and took care of him, even if it was a little bit. - Hobie hates drinking, especially alone. He hates being reminded of his mothers death, like he's slowly following in her footsteps. He'll die in the same, cruel death like she did, found at the end of the glass bottle that's lifted up to his lips, the liquid burning on the way down his throat. -🐦⬛
That's alright!! I'm glad you're back!
Daily Hobie HC!!!
Uh oh
Sameee I hate the silent treatment too :'(
NO HE DID NOT DESERVE IT 😤😤☹️
Awww I remember everyone's bday too but not a lot of them remember mine 😞 (now u made me sad 🐦⬛ anon ☹️)
*Holds Hobie's hand* Let's heal our inner child together
BROOOO THIS GOT ME ULTRA SAD 😭 Y U HURT ME LOVELY? IS IT BC OF OPIN?!
Nuh uh not on my watch!

Hiiii im curious, what's Alex afton's role in your au? :0 Apart from being the oldest afton kid
He’s ironically a Guard for a rival restaurant (kinda yoinking the au idea from WolfConF from back in the day) and also a foil to his brother Micheal
As an Adult he doesn’t really interact with the Freddy’s franchise that much , unlike Micheal He never had an interest in the Robotics or Technology side of it so he wasn’t as attached to them anymore after his Father died
Being 13 at the time when everything when down and losing both his Father and sister, Alex was hit emotionally harder and has a bigger hatred for the company, hense why he tried to distance himself as much as possible as he got older
However as fate would have it the only Job that would hire him was a Rival animatronic restaurant as a guard, he only took it because he was desperate and tolerates it at best
He still talks with Micheal, bit there’s tension. Alex doesn’t like him working under Faz. Co, especially after the scooping incident He’s not happy his only family was almost killed.
After the events of SL, although he still hates the company he’ll only help out if Micheal asks.
Unless he’s asked, he keeps his distance from the company, unfortunately also keeping distance from his own brother in the process
#fnaf#ask#ask me anything#fivenightsatfreddys#fnafmp#fnaf alex afton#alex afton#fnaf oc#No one has asked about Alex before so this ask was fun to answer!#he admittedly doesn’t play that big of a role#but I still love him lmao#Looks like his mom but has his dad’s personality#minus the murder

Random Koskela HCs
Headcanons partially based on what I've seen in the game so far, which includes some of the manuscript pages & the commercials (*Some spoilers ahead thus*)
Ilmo is the younger twin with an age difference of 3 solid minutes
Ilmo's entrepreneur & creative spirit is balanced out by Jaakko's no-nonsense attitude.
However, I like to think that Jaakko has had his share of wacky, wild ideas but happily gives Ilmo the credit for them since most residents already view Jaakko as the less quirky brother.
It was actually Jaakko who came up with the floats they can't show on television.
The Koskelas are inseparable from each other and also from their baseball cap and beanie.
They probably lived in Watery their whole life.
Ilmo looks up to his brother, even though he doesn't always say this out loud.
The brothers have a bunch of tapes with bloopers from their commercials that they watch when drinking beers together after a long day of work.
Every now and then, when the weather's good, they like to race each other on their motorcycles. It got them in trouble more than once with the deputies, but fuck the government and police!
They also like to make long tours on their bikes, taking in the views of the landscape.
Extended Family
Jaakko met his wife who was a tourist visiting Bright Falls. They had kids but in the end it didn't work out with them because his wife was a city woman, plus Jaakko's involvement with so many Koskela businesses left him with little to no time for her.
Still, he has an okay bond with his ex and a good relationship with his kids. They mainly keep contact through e-mail and occasional phone calls. During some holidays, the kids visit Jaakko in Watery.
When the kids were young, Jaakko's built them some toys and mini attractions (like a mini moose spring rider)
Ilmo tried his best to be The Cool Uncle but didn't always succeed where he wanted to. Being a smalltown resident, he was often out of touch with the big city customs and cultures.
Other random stuff
Although the local government isn't always too happy about so many things being owned by the Koskelas, it gives the town their fair share of income and it helps locals get jobs and keep a community feel.
Ilmo took evening classes to become an entrepreneur
He had to grow into his more extroverted persona.
Ilmo hates it when tourists pronounce or write his name wrong. No his name is not Elmo and he doesn't know who that furry red thing is. (There have been instances where Jaakko told naive tourists that 'Elmo' is the correct English version they could use instead)
Ilmo once considered doing tour guides on his motorcycle but Jaakko talked him out of it.
Angsty
Ilmo sometimes feels he has to overcompensate in his achievements. Since he looks up to Jaakko, who is his business partner and has a family, Ilmo fears he will fall behind.
Jaakko wishes his kids would stay in Watery, but knowing how shady the place is, he is glad they live far away from their hometown.
Jaakko was initially afraid to become a dad, but Ilmo hyped him up and supported him through the process.
No matter how many Taken they've killed, it hurts each time. Especially if they've known the person who got transformed.
Jaakko was the first one to kill a Taken, which he did after Ilmo initially hesitated which almost got him heavily injured.
Ilmo isn't superstitious, but there always remained a lingering fear that one day he would turn out like the historical figure Illmari. After the events of AW2, he blames himself heavily for Jaakko's death.
Ilmo has survivor's guilt.
After Jaakko's death, Ilmo can't immediately grieve, because there is still an evil to defeat, plus he still has all his responsibilities for the multiple businesses he runs. But keeping up a facade isn't easy.
Ilmo doesn't know what to tell Jaako's kids. How is he supposed to explain what happened to their father? The only "consolation" is that Jaakko's death was quick, he didn't have to bleed out or anything. Still, it was super messed up and Ilmo has nightmares.
