Evelyne turns back to her team and Soap, who gives her a thumbs up, “let’s get ourselves a win, boys!”

The abandoned room is silent save for the occasional chitter of mice in the shadows. Evelyne puts her earpiece in, as she takes her seat in front of the security cameras, switching on her radio.

“Echo 4-3 to Bravo 6, how copy.”

“Copy Echo 4-3, approaching the tunnel now.” 

She switches the camera, watching as Price pats Soap on the shoulder before the tunnel entrance opens. 

“I’m barefoot and bareback and born tough as nails”

She watches as the team moves swiftly to stop the threat, keeping a careful eye on Gaz as he moves around the tunnel.

“Soap, status.”

“Copy Snakie, defusing the bom-”

When Evelyne agreed to be the eyes and ears for this mission, she never expected to be in this situation. Sure, she gathered intel for 141 all the damn time, but her intel is never bad. She works too bloody hard for it to fall through. She didn’t make mistakes.

“Soap?”

Nothing.

“MacTavish?! Somebody give tell me what the bloody hell-”

“All Stations - this is Bravo in the blind. Threat neutralized. Bomb is safe…. One KIA”

Her heart sinks, her head spins, and she fears the worst.

“Snake, I’m sorry.”

“Yeah my kind of crazy is still running its courses”
