Knowing that Gavin is both so trans and "exotic POC" coded because yes he is, you can't tell me otherwise.

I know they're not supposed to promote eating meat or any aquatic life on the show but oh my god hook could get away with stealing some the wildlife's treasures that they have for some reason if he just introduced the kids to what a sea boil is and a meat-heavy feast.
Though. It would probably be horrifying to hear a sentient crab scream and plea for its life as it boils to death, and the kids either ignore it or are visibly frightened by said death so. I guess disney couldn't do that.....,

Hey qsmpblr, y'all want some cultural exchange from the Southern US? No? Well I'm sharing anyway.
It is completely legal and semi-normalized down here in Florida to eat gator. I can go into town and buy gator jerky easily.
Edit: I have never had gator and I don't want to, I just know it's a thing.

Btw if y’all don’t know much about Tiefling diets, let’s just say any tiefling character in BG3 would be dropping weight so fast. It isn’t a calorie issue, it’s simply the actual food. They can eat normal food fine, but they prefer/should eat primarily raw or mostly raw meats, and definitely enjoy the occasional helping of things like bone marrow, blubber, and even just plain blood. They are capable of subsisting off only coal or ash and sulfur. But give them those cabbages you scrounged or the pumpkins near the tollhouse in act 1 and they’ll eat it, but will not be happy about it or fully fed.

vibe: impeccably-preserved tomb with exquisite examples of ancient woven textiles, faience, bronze decorations, and with extensive hyper-detailed "Bird-God" and "Storm Deity" motifs recurring on walls of tomb interior. maybe dried oryx in a small pot somewhere
i 100% genuinely want to print this out and frame this, thank you

Giant stock-the-pantry post-move grocery shopping is so stressful. I am buying bath bombs as a little treat.

A huge underlying view among many terfs that frustrates me beyond belief is Islamophobia. I have seen countless of posts from Terfs using the stories of abused Muslim women as an excuse to say the whole religion is oppressive and sexist. I have seen so many posts about how hijabs and burkas are oppressive and women who choose to wear them are working against women’s rights. They often imply that most of, if not all, Muslim men are violent in the name of religion. They fail to make the obvious connection between the fact that there’s a huge difference between fascist governments using Islam as an excuse to oppress women and actual Islam and Muslims. Ofc women should have the right to chose if they want to be religious, if they want to cover up, if they want to take on a submissive role. No one is denying that. The reasons those rights are taken from women, often in the Middle East (which is what terfs often reference), is the fault of the government, not the religion. Yeah, there are abusive men who will use Islam as an excuse for their actions. Just like there are Christian men who will use Christianity as an excuse for their actions. Same goes for pretty much all religions. People covering up their abuse under the guise of religion is not limited to just Islam. It happens in most religions. It’s happened pretty much since religion started.
It’s just so ignorant and out of touch and you know they have never spoken to a Muslim person. If they did, they would know Muslims are the same as Christians and Jews and atheists and so on. It’s not some evil curse. It’s a religion that mainly focuses on peace. And to demonize it, using the horrors women have faced as an excuse is just so messed up. Most people on the internet haven’t realized there’s a big difference between a religion and people using that religion as a coverup for their shitty actions. The existence of governments using Islam to persecute women is because of bad people, not Islam. Terfs just want one group of people to be declared bad so they can blame everything on them. They claim to want to protect all women, and then condemn an entire religion. They talk about horrid treatment of women and blame religion rather than the perpetrators. It’s a very common belief a lot of them hold and I never see it mentioned and it just really pisses me off.

our vet whom i appreciate so much went to an IBD seminar and she's now decided to let us try a novel protein diet based on what she learned...if u told me this like 3 months ago i would have been thrilled but now im just so hesitant! enzo has had a really tough time since July in getting his IBD settled. Usually from dietary indiscretion, once seemingly an immune response after being vaccinated but of course I can't ever know for sure - after his vaccination i was on a trip for a long weekend and it's possible he ate something at his sitters house. (highly doubt it was stress or anxiety. he is very resilient about me leaving him and he likes spending time with other people and dogs) i never did testing for that flare up and just treated at home so I really don't know for sure what caused it.
In any case until he's more stable again im so scared of changing anything. We at least have hydrolyzed kibble that he can return to if he responds poorly to the novel protein (we chose rabbit) but im still soooo nervous

I just learned, in the span of five minutes, that the YouTube channel Dead Meat, of whom I am a fan, is currently streaming fnaf 1 as I type this, and also recently announced a Danganronpa kill count. As a fan of both, I feel so fucking alive right now. Also, I really need to make a main blog for these kinds of posts. But, for now I figured I'd share here since the only person I can share this with who would understand what the hell I'm talking about doesn't care.
