My Understanding of Art Criticism

I have evaluated artworks mostly by students that I learned within MCAST to talk about what to improve in their artworks and the style of their work. Art criticism is an interesting subject because a person can critique an artist's work in their own opinion, knowledge and their interests in the artwork that a person likes or dislikes from the artist style in their work that a person chose to talk about also when a person evaluates an artist work that made the artwork can learn much more what to improve or change the style that truly works for the artist and that is how art evolves by time. I have learned a lot in art by having people give their own opinions of my art style of patterns by telling me that I am not that good at painting and drawing but they told me that I am better at working on 3D sculpture to show patterns in different materials.

I have learned that through time art criticism has its own timeline that started from ancient civilization, the Middle Ages, Renaissance, the Enlightenment, 19th Century to early 20th Century and Mid-to-late 20th Century that there were a lot of different centuries with different styles of art criticism. Contemporary art criticism that values every style of art man-made even digital because every artwork has its own language in art criticism for example the media, composition, balance, form, line, texture, colour, space, perspective, contrast, proportion, pattern, emphasis and symbolism, it shows that nowadays art criticism values different styles of art. There are a lot of famous people around the world that use art criticism to help great artists to be seen by the public because when a writer writes about the artist and their works they are being view as great with good potential to improve or to be seen as amazing artist around the world.

As a geologist, mars impact craters immediately took my interest among the wide range of available data sets. That is why I aim to focus on the new global database for Mars created by Stuart Robbins. Specifically, I would like to focus on answering the question: "Is ejecta morphology associated with latitudinal variation?". I would like to study if there is a dominant ejecta morphology per latitude zone (e.g. equatorial latitudes, midlatitudes, northern/southern hemispheres) to further understand or have insights into the crustal properties of Mars. With this, I searched for studies on 'Mars impact craters ejecta morphology distribution' and 'Mars crater ejecta and latitude'. Previous studies on the morphology and distribution of 'sand' dunes on Mars by Breed, Grolier, and McCauley (1979) indicate that a morphology called massed crescentic ridges is most common in crater floor dune fields on Mars and imply that there are similarities in dune formation on Earth. Other studies by Barlow (2010) and Bradley (2002) on 3,000 - 6,000 Mars impact craters also found that certain ejecta morphologies are associated with certain impact materials on the surface of Mars (e.g. ice-rich, soil-rich, mixed soil, and ice). With this, I will be working on the hypothesis that certain latitudes can have dominant ejecta morphologies. This is interesting to note since knowing the dominance of ejecta morphology at certain latitudes may indicate corresponding zones in crustal composition. Investigating over 300,000 Mars craters as compared to the numbers of previous studies would also be another milestone as it can "provide more statistically viable results on a global scale". -------- Barlow, N.G. MDZS AU where Jiang Cheng realizes that Lan Sizhui is the Wen orphan that Wei Wuxian took care off during the Burial Mounds arc, decides that's close enough to qualify him as Nephew, declares that no Nephew of His (much less a surrogate son of Wei Wuxian's) is going to be raised in the Cloud Recedes, and immediately launches into a custody battle with Lan Wangji.

But since neither Jiang Cheng or Lan Wangji can acknowledge that Sizuhi has any connection to Wei Wuxian, both begin steadfastly and stubbornly insisting that he is a Cultivator of peerless potential and skill and he belongs in their sect thank you very much, and would clearly be very unhappy in the other's. This confuses the hell out of the already mystified Cultivation world, who had barely adjusted yet to gossiping about Sizhui being Wangji's illegitimate child by mysterious love affair.

(Eventually the common consensus in the rumor mills is that both JC and LW where in love with Sizhui's mother and both believe themselves to be Sizhui's real father.)

(LW couldn't care less what gossips say, but JC has to bite his tongue till it bleeds to avoid telling anyone the truth in a fit of anger.)

(It was Nie Huaisang who put that rumor out in the first place, partly to troll JC, partly because, in a way, it's a little true.)

“Oh I am blaming all of this on you T,” one of the beings in the summoning circle groans, burying their corpse-pale head in clawed hands as their white hair flickered. 

“Me? Excuse me, I wasn’t the one to accept the summoning!” another being protested, hood hiding most of their face save for molten-gold eyes and glittering runes or code on dark blue skin. “I was trying to figure out how to convince PK to change our schedule to include more sleeping, so don’t look at me, look at S!” 

“Well I didn’t accept it,” the only girl-sounding one scoffed, her crown of thorns seeming to writhe and bloom in her black hair for a moment. She crossed her arms, narrowing green eyes just a few shades darker than the white-haired one. “Maybe talk to whoever decided to summon us?” 

All of the sudden the cultists and heroes were being peered down at by a trio of… honestly whatever they were, because they didn’t seem to be the “Infinite King” the cult had been attempting to summon. Actually, they kind-of-maybe looked like kids… Which probably meant their parents or caretakers wouldn’t be too pleased.
