The PR team had come up with yet another playful stunt for the two Ferrari drivers—this time, a “What’s in Your Camera Roll?” segment meant to show fans a glimpse into their off-track lives.

Charles and Mark sat side by side, flashing polite smiles as the interviewer explained the rules.

"All right, guys! Just open your phones, pick a few pictures from your camera roll, and share them with us. Let’s see who’s the most interesting!"

Charles stiffened, his hand instinctively gripping his phone. Mark, on the other hand, let out a nervous laugh.

“Oh, uh, yeah, I don’t think that’s a good idea,” Mark said, waving his hand dismissively.

The interviewer raised a skeptical eyebrow. “You both seem pretty defensive about it. Are you hiding something?”

Mark and Charles exchanged a quick, panicked glance before blurting out in unison:

The room fell into an awkward silence for a moment before Mark’s nervous chuckle broke it. “Seriously, though, it’s just embarrassing stuff. Nothing worth showing.”

It was summer break, 2025. M/N and Lando had decided to stay in Monaco. Lando woke up sick and aching, but he still had to stream. The flu had gotten to him, making it hard to think properly.

“Baby, I hate this,” Lando said to his boyfriend. He didn’t want to stream—he just wanted cuddles and food in bed.

“I know, love, but even if you stream for five minutes, your fans will be happy to see you,” M/N said softly, gently stroking Lando’s hair.

Lando went back to setting everything up and got onto the stream. He was answering questions for everyone until he felt a kiss on his head. He looked up and saw M/N, and he smiled softly as he powered through the stream.

Eventually, he was falling asleep—with his camera off. The soft breathing of Lando coming through the screen as he fell asleep with his camera off made fans wonder why he even streamed when he was ill.

“I’m gonna end the stream,” M/N whispered to everyone as he ended it.

I just wanted to clarify the situation. Since I was little I always felt like I was different due to liking both girls and boys. Everyone told me “no you can only like girl”, so for years I did what was expected of me, I only dated girls. But no matter how hard I tried to only look at girls, there were boys who caught my attention. Boys I wanted to hug, kiss, and give my heart to. But now I’ve found someone that I really like and I love him more than anything in the world.

Chapter 1: New sponsor

Max finally arrived in the paddock on Saturday, beeming with happiness. Miami was going to be special this year, because his little girl had finally arrived. He kept smiling, a hand instinctively reaching into his pocket every few minutes to glance at the latest photos Kelly had sent. He gave his interview, thanking everyone who came to congratulate him, his eyes crinkling with genuine joy. Heck, he wouldn't even have a problem amusing the whole lot of VIP guests on the list for this weekend. He knew that there were celebrity guests scheduled to visit RedBull, and he was prepared with practised charm. He took pictures, even took one particularly enthusiastic actor for a hot lap, all the while his mind kept drifting back to the now three precious girls waiting for him thousands of miles away. A fleeting pang of longing, quickly suppressed by the adrenaline of the weekend, reminded him of a race ahead. Miami would be special indeed, win or no win on Sunday.

''I can't possibly remember the last time I even went to the Grand Prix! Care to remind me why this weekend, one I planned to spend finally relaxing at home with a very large glass of wine?'' Chloe asked, half whining at her best friend.

Other woman, took her designer sunglasses down and smirked at her friend.

''You're here because you're my assistent too, not just my best friend. And because,'' Beatrice's smirk widened, a hint of steel beneath the polished surface, ''shit will go down real fast, real soon. Obvious reasons, of course.''

Chloe sighed, nodding her head.

For the last ten years, Beatrice Pierce had deliberately constructed a life far away from the glittering, high-octane world of Formula 1. From the flashing cameras, the shallow celebrity chatter, and especially from the raw ache that it made her feel. She swore she would never again let her heart be so exposed, so vunerable. Instead, she had buried herself in the demanding world of academia and then business, strategically building her way through the male-dominated fields until she became the one with influence, the one who commanded respect in that very same industry. She wasn't here for the thrill of the race, God no. She was here to finally take back what was taken from her. And now, finally, armed with the power and resources she had, she could. Her gaze flickered towards one name written on the RedBull garage as they approched.

''Ah, Miss Pierce! Pleasure to finally meet you. Christian Horner.'' He extended a hand, his experienced eyes already assessing the formidable woman before him.

''Pleasure is all mine, Christian. Also,'' Beatrice's smile was radiant, yet held a subtle command, ''let's leave formalities to the side. You may call me Beatrice.''

The sweetness of her tone was disarming, yet Horner, a seasoned veteran in the paddock, sensed the sharp intellect beneath.

The young woman before him was one for the studies: pure elegance blended seamlessly with a fierceness and softness at the same time. He instantly knew she was trouble, the kind that came with a very large checkbook and demands. And speaking of that checkbook, when she had decided to give full sponsorship of her BP empire to the RedBull, they had seized the opportunity with both hands before she could possibly reconsider. After all, her company had become a true force in the USA, making head-spinning profits in the last few years. Why had she, as the CEO, chosen them? No one really knew. But RedBull, never ones to look a gift horse in the mouth, had eagerly accepted the horrifyingly large new budget that came with her. And so, here she was now, an aura of quiet power radiating from her as she stood in the bustling garage, her gaze sharp as she took in the machinery and the focused activity of the engineers, demanding to see what is to be made with her money.

''Okay then, Beatrice. Welcome to the RedBull family. Let me show you around.'' He gestured ahead with his hand.

''I'd love to.'' Beatrice's smile didn't quite reach her eyes as she followed him, her gaze sweeping over the car with number 1 emblazoned on it, a flicker of something unreadable crossing her features as she did so.

As Beatrice watched Max post-Sprint, his easy laughter echoing across the garage, a sharp memory pierced her carefully constructed composure. Ten years ago, in that small, sun-drenched space, his hand had traced the curve of her neck as he whispered promises that now felt like cruel lies. Her first time, a moment she had treasured, believing it was the foundation of something real. Just days later, the cold dismissal - ''I can't afford distractions, Bea. My career..'' The words still echoed with a brutal finality. He went on, won, got with Kelly, their seemingly perfect relationship plastered across every F1 publication. She was older, more mature. Was that the focus on his career that he needed?

And now, a child. Baby girl. The image of him cradling his daughter, so readily available on his social media, twisted something cold in Beatrice's chest. A life he had built, prioritizing the very career he claimed he needed to concentrate on, but he had built it with someone else. Her sponsorship wasn't just business: it was the very claim over his professional life, the one he so hardly prioritized over their relationship.

''Max!,'' Christian called out, clapping a hand on the driver's shoulder as he approached. Max turned, his usual easygoing grin in place, still riding the high of a Sprint race. But as his eyes landed on the elegant woman standing beside Christian, his smile faltered, a shock, though quickly masked, crossing his features. ''I'd like you to meet someone very important to the team. This is Beatrice Pierce, CEO of BP Industries, our new primary sponsor.''

Max extended a hand, his gaze fixed on Beatrice, eyes searching hers. ''Miss Pierce,'' he began, his voice a fraction more hesitant than usual, ''pleasure to meet you.'' Disbelief never left him. She looked..different, powerful.

Beatrice accepted his hand, her own expression cool and neutral. ''The pleasure is all mine, Mr. Verstappen.'' Her voice was smooth and professional, as if meeting a stranger. It was a masterful performance of indifference, as if Max was just another face in the crowded paddock.

Inside, Max's mind raced. Those eyes..he couldn't be mistaken. It was Bea. But her cool demeanor, the complete lack of recognition..it threw him. Had he changed so much? Or was this deliberate?

Horner beamed, oblivious to the charged moment. ''Beatrice is keen to get a real feel for the team and the season. I thought who better to introduce her to the sharp end than our reigning champ?''

Max managed a tight smile, his eyes still flicking back to her. ''Yeah, sure. Anything you want to know, just ask.''

Beatrice met his gaze again, her eyes assessing him. ''Thank you, Mr. Verstappen. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions as the weekend progresses.'' There was no hint of familiarity in her tone, no shared glance, nothing to suggest they had once shared something intimate.

As Christian moved away, Max lingered, his expression still confused. ''So, Beatrice,'' he began again, his voice carefully neutral. ''Long time no see.''

Beatrice tilted her head slightly, her smile polite but distant. ''I'm sorry, Mr. Verstappen. I'm afraid I don't quite understand what you're talking about. Also, it's Miss Pierce to you. Let's keep things professional, yes?'' Her gaze hardened again as he nodded, swallowing hard.

He watched her turn and engage in a seeminglt casual chat with her assistant. What was going on? The easygoing confidence he'd carried since his Sprint victory began to erode, replaced by a gnawing uncertainty. He had to know what was happening.

Beatrice continued her conversation with Chloe, a small smile playing on her lips. The encounter with Max had been...satisfying. The shock in his eyes, the hesitant tone of his voice - it confirmed that he remembered. And her complete denial had clearly thrown him off balance. Good. It was the first move in a game she had been planning for years. Seeing him again, so close, had stirred up a whirlwind of emotions, but years of disciplined control kept them firmly locked away.

"I was never talked to about contract signing. Definitely not in regards to racing for them next year." Jessie says, glancing at Oscar who nodded in agreement.

"Same here."

NOVEMBER 2022 ━ ABU DHABI

"1 lap to go. I repeat, 1 lap to go."

It was the last race of the 2022 Formula 2 season. Jessie D'Angelo had made a name for herself as the first female driver to climb up the male-dominated motorsport since the 90's. It was a bloody crawl on the way to the top, but the gold she tasted as she reached those heights only made her want more.

She was currently second in the Drivers Standings, so close to the top she could smell the trophy. She had claimed pole in the race and was tailing the podium victory. Jessie would have won if she stayed where she was, but she wasn't one to turn down a fight.

"And that's P1! Congratulations Jessie D'Angelo, you are a Formula 2 World Champion."

As Jessie crosses the finish line first, the fans roar in delight. The female driver smiled wide in her helmet, taking in the moment and the various greetings from the pit wall.

"Lets go! Back to back, baby. Fuck, I'm exhausted." Jessie cries, sticking out her hand through the halo to wave to the crowd.

"This one is for all the female drivers out there. Let 'em know what the hell they're missing out on."

BREAKING: PORSCHE TO RE-JOIN FORMULA 1 NEXT YEAR. DRIVER LINEUP TO BE ANNOUNCED.

[WILL BUXTON] Formula 1 consists of teams that are household names: Ferrari, Mercedes, Aston Martin. Teams like these get you on your feet in anticipation.

Everyone's heard the whispers within the paddock of a new team supposedly joining in 2023. I just don't think anyone knew it would be Porsche.

JUST IN: PORSCHE REVEALS STAR-STUDDED LINEUP AHEAD OF THE 2023 SEASON.

[WILL BUXTON] They were an OG team, one established from the very beginning of the sport. They didn't last very long, but everyone knew it was always a matter of time before they came back. And what better with the 2022 Formula 2 Champion?

"Wait... what do I say again?" Jessie asks, fumbling with the slate in her hands as she sat down in the stool.

"Introduce yourself and who you're racing for."

The female driver nods at the instructions, exhaling deeply before bringing the slate up to the camera's view.

"Hello. I am Jessie D'Angelo, 21 years old, and I am a Porsche Formula 1 driver." She states, clapping the slate with a relieved smile.

"Oh, and I'm also the first female driver to grace the grid in... a long time."

MARCH 2023 ━ BAHRAIN

All 22 cars were lined up at the starting grid for the first race of the season. Jessie managed to qualify P11 which wasn't exactly the best nor the worst. Sure, she wanted points on her debut race, but knowing the big names she was racing with she humbled herself into just making it out unscathed.

She was humming to her favorite tune, tapping simultaneously on her steering wheel as she tried to look unfazed by the events prior to getting in her car.

Jessie knew that being the only female out of 22 drivers was going to be brutal. Everyone around her had pep-talked her into what to expect as she stepped foot into that track. She had hyped herself up, thought she would be able to handle the nasty remarks she was bound to receive. Turns out Jessie D'Angelo still has her temper and was more mad than sad when she walked out and heard the booming boos from the crowd.

The crew had taken off her tire covers, the starting grid clearing signaling the race about to start.

As the first red light goes on, Jessie locks her eyes onto them.

This was now or never, and she was determined to make a grand first impression.

"It's lights out and away we go!"

"And that's P3, Jess! Congratulations on your debut race."

"Woo! Lets fucking go! God, I wanna see the look on all those motherfuckers faces." Jessie yells through the radio, finally being able to relax after a tight first race.

As she placed her car in parc ferme, she swiftly pulled herself up by the halo and stood next to her car. She turns to look at the stands and sarcastically bows to the same crowd that boo'ed her before the race even began.

"How do you think your first race went?"

A small smirk emerged on Jessie's face, proud of the feat.

"I mean... I got P3 and proved the sweaty non-drivers wrong. I think it went very well."

          With Giancarlo Girotti as his trainer, Matteo had become one of the most feared and hated drivers on the karting grid. He was only eight years old, competing with other little kids but also many other older drivers. Age wasn't an impediment to having resentment towards the Italian.

          When the news of his joining the Ferrari Academy was published, none of the drivers who knew him could be surprised. If it wasn't Ferrari, it would be the academy of some other big team.

          Most still remember him as a little kid, shorter than the rest and who could barely manage a mix of Italian and English that only a few could understand. Neither his age, size, nor the language were an impediment for him to lead in more than one race, placing himself comfortably within the top positions of the championship.

          His professional career was successful from the beginning, but complicated. Money was a big problem for the teams, just as his isolation was for him.

          "He is a talented child, what the teams want" without friends, Matteo learned at an early age to hate the press. "Beginner's luck, right?"

          Luck? An innate talent? Talent would have been getting into a karting and winning races without training; lucky to win a championship that way. Spending months training from the morning to the night was not talent, or even luck. He hadn't spent years working hard on his training for them to classify his achievements as random, detracting from him.

          —Never give them the pleasure of seeing you angry, Pupo. —His coach told him, noticing on his face that feeling that was beginning to brew deep inside him. —That's what they want, for you to react, for you to lower yourself to their level. —With curious eyes, the dark-haired boy saw the gray-haired man next to him, listening to him attentively. —Are you going to stoop to their level? —

          —No. —he quickly denied. The old man almost let out a half smile.

          —Things are shown on the track, Pupo, and you have already proven to be better than him. Than all of them. —Matteo nodded. He had to be better than the others, show that it wasn't luck, that he tried harder than anyone there.

          He wanted to scream at them, to explode, but he knew it wouldn't be necessary. Hitting another driver wouldn't help, it wasn't good for him either. Beating them on the track would be more rewarding, when he can see them from the top step of the podium, smiling at the camera in interviews, posing with a brighter medal or a bigger trophy.

          He is better than them on the track. He had to be better, and he trained to be the best. He didn't need to talk in interviews, brag with words, if the results made it clear who is on top.

          —What do I have to say? —he asked his coach, knowing that he was next for the post-race interview.

          —You know what to say. —Simply, but it seemed to be enough for the boy, who nodded and start walking towards the journalist waiting for the champion of the race.

          «Last question, are you worried about any of your rivals?» The boy didn't have to think, before denying:

          —My only rival is myself. —

the grudge

summary: in which olivia verstappen can't get over the things her family put her through so easily. max verstappen x sibling!oc

warnings: angst, mentions of neglect and abusive behavior. this is F I C T I O N I just needed to write angst with this song, so forgive me and don't consider any of this fact!!!!!

Olivia Verstappen had been through more in life than many of her peers. Yes, some would say she lived an extravagant life with her father's former career as a driver. Most people saw the nicer houses, the way she and Max had nicer machines than some of the other kids.

What they didn't see was the constant tension in their home. The way their mother had given the two of them to their father for major custody after he yelled, holding in her flinches as she gave in. The times her and Max were punished after an unsatisfactory result in a race.

As a child, Olivia had idolized her big brother. She wanted to go to his races, her mother humoring her, and one day she ended up behind the wheel. When her father saw the way she could almost keep up with her brother, the dollar signs started flashing. And so for a few years, Olivia imagined a dream where she and her brother ended up in Formula 1 together, the first brother and sister racing line up.

It only took about five years until things fell apart. Max and Olivia were with Jos full time, and the mans behavior was getting worse and worse. There were times after a race when Max would win, and Olivia would come second (even racing up in the next age group), and their father would scream at Olivia as Max watched his sister in silence.

Olivia always contemplated calling her mother and asking her to come for her on those nights.

And I try to be tough, but I wanna scream How could anybody do the things you did so easily?

When she was 13, Olivia went to the race track to practice before the first kart race of her season. The owner of the track had seemed shocked to see her, saying he had no equipment ready for her as her father had never called to register her for the upcoming season. Olivia had pedaled her bike home (because Jos could not be bothered driving his daughter the two miles out of the city to the race track), trying to calm the rage in her veins.

Max and her father were watching a race in the living room when she came inside. "You didn't sign me up for my karting season?" Olivia asked with barley a quiver in her voice as the two males looked at her.

"You aren't good enough," Jos said with little care, shrugging as he turned back to the tv. "I'm not spending money on a kid who comes in second place. It's a waste. You're a waste."

Her father didn't see, but Max could clearly see the way Olivia's lip quivered. Tears gathered in her eyes, but the girl took a deep breath, straightened her spine and nodded. She turned on her heel, headed into the bedroom and packed a bag.

That night, she did call Sophie and ask to come home. That would be the last time she would see her father for 6 years, and the beginning of the demise of her relationship with her brother.

"Mijn liefje," a knock came on Olivia's door in her and her mother's apartment while she was getting ready for her graduation from University.

Two years of hard work, and Olivia was graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering. She already had an internship lined up with the Williams' Racing team while she pursued her secondary degree in Engineering and Aeronautics at Oxford.

At her heart, racing was still one of Olivia's passions. And while her opportunity to pursue it as a driver had been ruined by Jos, her heart for the sport remained. And so she had taken the jump, applying with Williams' Engineering department using her mothers last name. Her father was notorious on his own, but with Max now at Red Bull, she wanted to feel as if she made this entrance into the world of F1 on her own merit.

"Ja?" she said as she opened the door to her mother's strained smile. "What's wrong?"

"Your sister just got here," Sophie explained. "But she's brought your brother."

After Olivia left Jos and went back to live with Sophie, she had tried so hard to keep her relationship with Max stable. Her brother was one of her favorite people in the world. But when he had come to see them for the first time after the move, the older boy hadn't been happy to listen to anything Olivia had to say about her choice to leave.

In Max's mind, Olivia had given up. Their father had given her a test, and she had failed. Never did he consider that as hard as Jos was on Max, it was a two fold on Olivia who could never live up to her prodigy brother.

And so over the past 5 and a half years, Olivia and Max hardly saw each other. And when they did, it was clear things were different. Max was resistant to hear Olivia out or try to see things from her side, and Olivia decided to stop trying and just wear a brave face.

"Oh, okay," Olivia shrugged. She didn't know why Vic had brought Max, but the women walked out into the living area to see the two blondes sitting. Victoria leaped up and wrapped her arms around her little sister.

One of the best things to come out of Olivia's return to Sophie's custody and home, was her newfound relationship with Victoria. Living together had brought the two girls closer than before, and Vic was there when Olivia's mental health had been in the toilet after having to talk with Jos over the years.

"Olivia," Max cleared his throat and nodded as Victoria and Olivia pulled apart.

"Max," Olivia half smiled, clasping her hands together to hold back from wrapping her arms around her brother. "I didn't expect you today."

"I didn't know you were graduating," Max said, trying to keep the accusatory tone out of his voice.

"I sent an announcement to you and Dad," Olivia furrowed her eyes, Sophie nodding as she had helped the younger girl address the cards.

"I never got it," Max's lips thinned. "I didn't even know you were in school."

"Let's be honest, when have we talked in the last five years long enough for you to ask," Olivia scoffed as her mother put a hand on her shoulder.

"And you're working at Williams?" Max ran his hands through his hair. "Why are you working for them? They're not a winning team, you should-"

"I don't need to hear that Max," Olivia said calmly. "I don't need to hear about how what I'm doing isn't enough for you, or for our father. Don't worry, he reminds me enough every day for the whole fucking family."

"Olivia," Sophie said sharply as Max looked to her in shock.

"Dad said you two hadn't spoken in a few years," he said.

"No, he calls me about once a month to remind me what a failure he thinks I am," Olivia smiled weakly as Victoria looked at her with pity in her eyes. "It wasn't enough what he did to me those years ago, he's got to make sure he leaves a lasting impression, just in case I ever feel like I'm moving past it all."

Two years pass. Job interviews are had, and it's with the last name Kumpen, that Olivia gets a job with Red Bull Racing after completing her Masters degree. She had spent a season working under the strong female presence of Hannah Schmitz and the legend Adrian Newey, learning more than she ever thought possible, and watching her brother fight and win his first championship.

After the season had ended, Max and Olivia had retreated to Monaco for a few weeks before Olivia would return to the factory for in person work. Jos had come to spend a weekend, and Olivia had put things aside to join him and Max for dinner.

"You know they only hired you because of Max," her father said after they had finished their salads and were waiting for their main course.

"Excuse me?" Olivia asked wide eyed. "They didn't know my last name was Verstappen until a month ago."

"You think they're that stupid?" Jos laughed as he sipped his drink and Max looked away, refusing to meet Olivia's eyes.

"Max?" she asked with dread in her heart.

"I'm sorry," Max shook his head as he watched his sister's heart shatter in front of his eyes. "I mentioned it to Christian. But I knew you would be such an asset. I wanted you on my team."

"More like he didn't think you could get hired somewhere else," Jos scoffed. "F1 isn't for losers. For complainers. You've never had-"

The man was cut off by Olivia standing up. "No," she said lowly. "You don't get to do this to me. You don't get to try to make me feel like this anymore. As far as I am concerned, I am not your daughter. Lose my number, forget me, I don't care. But I never want to see you again."

With that Olivia gathered her bag and walked out of the restaurant. She went to wave her arm for a taxi when she felt a hand encircle her wrist, yanking it free and whipping around to glare at her brother.

"Olivia please-" he began to plead.

"No," she shook her head. "No. I'm done. You knew. I really thought you finally understood how I felt. But then you do this. You take this accomplishment that I was so proud of. I was so proud to think I had finally proved myself. That little girl who was screamed at every time she wasn't good enough. Told she would never amount to anything, I finally felt like she was healed. And you just fucked that up for me."

"Livvy it wasn't like that," Max fell into the use of his old nickname for her. "Please. You did get this job on your own. I promise. Talk to Christian ok? Let him tell you-"

"No Max," Olivia sighed. "No. I can't do this anymore. I really thought this was what I needed to feel healed. To fight with you and win, to get a championship and know that was a way to fulfill my dreams. But being around him every day, being around him at all, thats not something I can do anymore. And as much as I know you see it more now, I don't think you'll ever be able to get out from his thumb and from the weight of his expectations. I love you, but that's not something I can put myself through any longer."

"Livvy what does that mean?" Max asked as she turned back to the street and hailed a cab. "Please. Will I see you in England in a week? Please."

Olivia looked back at him with a sad smile before climbing into the waiting car.

"Max, have a good off season?" the reigning world champion was asked in his first media day of the 2021 season.

"Yeah mate," the Dutchman smiled. "Got some good relaxation in. Spent some time in the sim. It was good, but I'm glad to be back." The interviewer asked a few more standard questions out of the way before he dropped the bomb.

"So, we got some information in during testing but things have unfolded since and we wanted to bring it up with you." At the interviewers lead in, Max got hesitant and his media officer creeped closer, ready to intervene.

"It's come to our attention, that your little sister was a Junior Strategist with Red Bull last season," the interviewer asked.

"Ah, yes," Max nodded. "That was her first season with us after she interned with Williams."

"Of course," the man nodded. "Quite impressive, getting to work with Hannah Schmitz and Adrian Newey. Interning with Williams, advanced degree from Oxford. That is some talent."

"It is," Max said proudly. "She's been a star, and I've been so thankful to have her with the team."

"So what do you think about her signing a contract to join Mercedes for the next three seasons to work with Lewis?"

It's 2024.

Things were reversed. In 2020, Olivia had watched wistfully as Max had stood on top of his car, pumping his arms as he won his first WDC. In Abu Dhabi 2024, Max was watching from the second step as Lewis held up his trophy that had won the man his eighth World Championship.

Max held his breath as he looked to the side of the stage as Mercedes sent up a representative to gather the trophy for the constructors. To his surprise it wasn't Toto heading onto the stage, but his baby sister.

His breath stalled in his chest as Lewis and George both hopped of their podiums to wrap their arms around Olivia. His sister had the biggest smile on her face as she accepted their embraces before turning to the officials, and shaking hands as she made her way to the fourth step and the trophy waiting for her.

Three years at Mercedes had turned Olivia into a rising star. She was the second seat on Lewis' pit wall, making several calls that season that had led to Lewis securing a strong lead in the WDC standings.
