Hello friends! 

If you have submitted an Anonymous Ask for a fic rec list in the last 48 hours PLEASE reach out to a fic finder off Anon so we can ask a few clarifying questions that will allow us to begin working on these lists.

Also a housekeeping update. We have begun receiving even more Anonymous asks than before, and while we understand there are many features that make Anon appealing, the team humbly requests that folks reconsider that option. It makes moments like this difficult and honestly, is a bit of a morale killer for the team since we never know if the person who asks ever even sees the lists we work so hard on. If you are using a side blog please include the URL/handle you would like us to tag in your answer, or message any of the fic finders telling us you submitted an ask.

Guide to Submitting an Ask

Here is the set menu for this year's Tales of Vesperia Ship Week! We hope to see you at Café Vesperia from August 1st to 7th!

We have a fine selection of prompts to hopefully suit anyone's tastes among our appetisers, main and desserts - but for those who find these somewhat lacking, our coffee menu offers endless possibilities! Our hashtags this year will be #vesperiaweek and #vespshipweek2023, but due to the technical difficulties of the platform this time feel free to tag this account in the replies of your creations as well to make sure we see! For now, a plain text version of our prompts is available within the alt text of the menu itself, but this will also be available on our carrd in the coming days. We thank you for your continued patience!

A message from the mods:

There have been some serious accusations regarding one of our participants. We mods take the allegations seriously and stand with the victims – those who have come forward, and those who still wish to stay anonymous.

As such, the work has been removed from the 2023 Reverse Bang collection and the participant has been banned from the server and any future Reverse Bang events.

In no uncertain terms, we condemn the actions of the participant.

We ask that any discussion of this stays to DMs and out of any public spaces in the server as multiple people in the event have been hurt.

We also want to make sure everyone is aware, the collaborating partner, who isn’t active in the OFMD fandom as a whole, had no prior knowledge of the events that happened and does not associate with the offending party. We would like to offer our sincere apologies to them as their boundaries were also not respected.

We mods send out our support and sympathy to the victims.
