Hey, guys. It's the SEGASister here. For the past month or so now, I have been unemployed. While I am waiting to hear from the New York Department of Labor on my unemployment status, I have tried to apply for other work positions. Hell, I was looking for other work before leaving my previous job. So far, zero luck on either front.

So, as much as I don't want to do this, I feel like I need to set up a fund to hold me over for six months until I find another job. Hopefully, it doesn't take me another two years or so, and hopefully, I am approved for unemployment, but still, having this emergency fund would be very helpful.

I'm asking for $5k, so I can reliably contribute to rent while living with my partner, pay for my bills, and have a little extra in case it takes longer for me to find employment. If you're not able to, please spread this around wherever you can. Regardless, thank you for reading.

OK, fair warning to the few people I actually managed to convince to try the game??

Rain world does NOT play like hollow knight, and you'll get your butt kicked if you approach it like that.

It's really hard. Like, really hard. Instead of the game literally giving you abilities in the form of power-ups and damage buffs, the only abilities you gain is from what you learn and your own ingenuity. You're a rat from beginning to end. If you just beef your way through it, it's gonna suck and you're gonna be confused and frustrated all the time. But if you pay attention, take it slow, and learn how the ai works and how everything interacts with each other, you can consistently get through and dominate situations you thought were impossible to do so when you first began. Now get out there, kill some lizards, and bully some old computers!

Hi. My car recently had the motor blow out. It’s totaled and undriveable now. My boyfriend and I have been using that car for both of us, and now neither of us have a way to get around/to work/etc.

Please bear with me as I've never had to make a post like this before.

My best friend is in need of serious financial aid in regards to her gorgeous kitty, Sasha. The whole story can be found on the GoFundMe, but I'll give you a short summary:

Upon a visit to the vet to get what they thought was an injury looked at, they were told it was actually bone cancer. Injuries can sometimes "aggravate" cancers like this, but at the same time, it might be the reason why they caught it when they did, as she wasn't showing any symptoms before this injury.

Due to the insane medical prices in the US, this really is a case of if they can't get the amputation paid for, then they will have to strongly consider putting Sasha down which is devastating in itself but especially when they've had her since she was a kitten & she's 14 now! Funds will either go towards getting the amputation sorted as well as all the aftercare for that, or just to keep her as comfortable as possible for her final weeks with us. It's really sad that any life on Earth can be cut short all because of lack of funds.

Of course, if you're reading this and have no means to help financially then that's okay! But please consider reblogging & sharing around so hopefully we can find some people who are willing/able to help with this.

I'm aware there are A LOT of fake posts for GoFundMe's, especially regarding cats and animals. I'm sure once my friend has printed medical bills she'll be happy to post them on the GoFundMe page as well.
