The Art of ‘Being’

Everyone has that one guy they’re really not interested in who becomes infactuated. There’s no trying to impress him, no overthinking message responses. You’re literally showing up as yourself and he becomes obsessed. And this is the art of being. The unhealed part of you believes you have to change and become someone else to receive love, to be liked and accepted. Well, bullshit to that. Just being, being your authentic self, letting go of the mask you wear for acceptance, letting go of changing yourself because some ‘feminine coach’ said you need to wear red nails, frilly dresses, and whatever else is being taught. What you really need to do is just ‘be’. What you’ll find is the people who are meant for you in this moment will meet you where you are now, all you need to do is just be you. You are enough.

How do you begin your spiritual journey?

Great question... It varies for everyone... My journey started with meditation and Buddhism, then to new age spirituality, and I am now more closely with Christianity. I have recently finished 9 months spiritual coaching and I can safely say this is the most peaceful and radiant my life has ever been. Believing in God and connecting with God will completely transform your life in ways you can't even imagine. And this is coming from someone who struggled to say the word God due to trauma from Church as a child. New age spirituality took me to a certain point, but I was still running into the same issues, until I got deeper with God. That was when the transformation truly happened and here are some steps...

1] Develop a meditation practise 20 mins - 1hr per day (might sound extreme but you will be amazed at the benefits). You can meditate on listening to God, or just listening to the nothingness. The more you do this, the more you connect with the unseen and you'll start to receive downloads from above in the space and silence that will completely transform your life.

2] Community - If you don't have spiritual friends, lean on YouTube to absorb the content and energy from those on the spiritual path. One of my favourites as Sarah Jakes Roberts, but I would recommend finding your own who connect with your soul, they will appear once you set the intention.

3] Spiritual music. Binaural beats, frequency music, sound healing, worship music. Find what works for you. But this is a great conduit for connecting with God. I realised a lot of the songs I loved as I listened to the lyrics were actually quite negative, and low frequency, since I switched over I am feeling more peace.

4] Read. There is much power in the word. There are books on spirituality. Find ones that resonate with you, and make the effort to read daily. Depending on where you're at my first transformational spiritual books... The Untethered Soul - Michael Singer & Marianne Williamson - Return to Love. I am currently reading the Bible, but another favourite is A Course in Miracles.

5] If you have resources, I highly recommend a spiritual coach. This without a doubt completely transformed my entire life. Spiritual coaches allow you to reach the depths of yourself you didn't even know existed. I found my coach on IG (before I deleted it), but the thing about spirituality is once the student is ready, the teacher will appear.

In my lastest upload I mentioned my black cat who I named Bastet the moment I saw her. She taught me how to be more feminine, how to receive love, how to let my guards down and express love in a safe space.
