Remember, remember, the 5th of November,
Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I know of no reason,
Why the gunpowder treason,
Should ever be forgot.

For anyone who doesn't know, in the UK every year, we celebrate the anniversary of Guy Fawkes' failed attempt to assassinate the whole House of Lords by blowing up Parliament (i.e. Westminster/Big Ben).
I can hear the fireworks as we speak. There will be much 'burning the Guy' on the bonfires. Guy Fawkes died a grisly death at the hands of our aristocratic masters.
And yet, as in V For Vendetta...many in the country wonder why we celebrate the survival of the Lords.
REVOLUTION!
Love,
-- V xxx

Brain Decided to Write a Narrative-Plot Bespoke Version of The Gunpowder Plot "Remember, Remember the 5th of November" Rhyme:
An action, reaction Conflict into faction This narrative must have a plot! You’ve one true imperative A plot for this narrative That won’t soon be forgot! For Protagonist and characters A fresh scheme contrive To challenge their pathos And bring them to life. Dive deep to face their darkest lows, A dangerous path the protagonist chose, An antagonist that’s more than match And a daring plotted plan you’ll hatch! A give and take, For the protagonist’s sake. If you don’t write them one Then what will they do? The pace comes undone And more problems for you.
I didn't ask brain for this but I do like it

Yearly reminder that in 1605, Catholics legally couldn’t purchase gunpowder.
Furthermore, gunpowder could only be bought from the Tower of London, and every time gunpowder was bought from there it would be kept in a record. Now the records for all the surrounding years can be traced, yet the records for 1605 are mysteriously absent.
I’m not saying the Gunpowder Plot was a Protestant conspiracy, but I’m not saying the Gunpowder Plot wasn’t a Protestant conspiracy.
