***Blitzø is still in the hospital for this bit. Post “I love you”s.***

“Hey… Loony?”

“Yeah?” Loona didn’t look up from scrolling on her phone.

“Totally weird question… But um…” Blitzø cleared his throat. “Did anyone ELSE visit me?”

He felt bad breaking the comfortable silence they’d been sharing. But he’d been stewing over this weird feeling for a while and he just needed to know.

“What do you mean?” Loona raised an eyebrow and peeked up from her phone.

“I mean like…” Blitzø averted his gaze and scratched his cheek. “Other than you guys? The M&Ms, Fizz and Oz, Stolas…”

Loona uncrossed her ankles, swung her legs off the bed and sat up.

“Ah…” She put her phone face down on the bed and rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly.

Maybe I don’t wanna know the answer…

“So?” He said sheepishly.

“Uh…” Loona sat up straight and began absentmindedly smoothing out the sheets on the bed in front of her. “Yeah, actually.”

Blitzø’s stomach did a weird flip.

“…Who?” He swallowed hard.

“Well.” Loona paused. “I thought it was really weird. But Tex asked if I’d make sure the room was empty for like twenty minutes, so that Verosika could stop by… I thought he was shitting me… But no. She came.”

Blitzø felt like he was hearing her through a tunnel.

F*ck. How the f*ck did I know that?

Loona peeked over at Blitzø.

“I hope that’s ok?”

“Huh? Oh. Yeah.” He said offhandedly. Blitzø felt weirdly numb, unsure what to say. “I mean I still have all my parts so she clearly didn’t do any damage, ha ha.”

“Mmm. Why’d you ask?” Loona raised an eyebrow.

“Huh? Oh…” Blitzø stammered, caught off guard. “I dunno. I feel like I had this weird dream that she visited.”

“Huh.” Loona picked up her phone and settled back into her chair and started scrolling. “That IS weird.”

“I’m going to get us all something to eat.” Stolas stood and squeezed Blitzø’s hand. “I’ll be right back.”

Blitzø watched Stolas swish out the door and smiled to himself.

Once he was sure Stolas was gone he turned to Loona and Octavia.

“Could I ask you girls a favour?”

Loona and Octavia looked up at Blitzø from their phones, eyebrows raised.

“I want you to find me something if you can. Probably at that weird store you both like so much.”

They both looked at him, confused.

“With the dead animals?”

“Stylish Occult,” they said in unison.

“Whatever,” he waved it off. “Here’s what I’d like you to get for me, if you can….”

Blitzø woke later to the sound of an incoming message. He reached over and groggily unlocked his phone.

He rubbed his eyes and blinked away the blurriness of sleep to find a message from Verosika. More accurately, a message of photos.

He opened the message.

The first photo was of a creepy plush jackalope, dressed up to look like Blitzø. Little jacket, boots and gloves.

Excellent craftsmanship. Five stars. Great job girls.

A little note was tied around its neck: “Hi! My name is Blitzo! Please mutilate me! I deserve it!”

Nice. Nice.

The next one showed the Blitzalope stabbed through with a carving knife.

Deserved.

The next had it rammed in a large pile of shit - which Blitzø assumed was more than likely horse shit.

Mhmm… Yup. Very apropos.

Another had the Blitzalope squished under the tire of Verosika’s pink pussy-wagon.

Clever.

And in the last photo you could see Verosika’s hand flipping the Blitzalope the bird, while the plush was being pissed on by a queef on the sidewalk.

HA! Classic.

Blitzø smiled to himself

He was startled when he saw a speech bubble pop up with those three little dots.

Oh f*ck… What’s she gunna say…

He closed his eyes and braced himself for the worst.

His phone pinged.

So I shared these on my Instagram and was gonna share it on my art blog but eh, I think I’m just gonna share these wips here.

Gonna do Helluva boss redesigns for fun :) I don’t actually dislike their original designs, but I wanted to do a more goth touch to them.

It’s funny, Loona was always my least favorite character in the show but I kind of dig the design she has. (Except her hair, it looks too much like Jay Jay) but since the show badly wants to label her and Octavia being a goth, I actually wanted to really show that side of them.

I wanted to base Loona’s redesign off of a Deathrocker. Deathrock is one of the subgenres of goth music that’s kind of more punk like and a bit of a heavy sound, but I can see her being into Gothic rock too. I was kind of inspired by Lovearts redesign with making Loona a Siberian Husky and gave her scratches and ear hole since I’m sure she went through rough patches on the pound.

One thing I wish Vivziepop did is have Loona be interesting in DIY or going to thrift stores. Thing about goth subculture is that diy and thrifting is a huge thing that a lot of us do. It helps us be more creative with our looks and taking reused clothes to give them a gothic touch. Like since she’s a hellhound and hellhounds are very poor, I feel like it would make sense for her to get into diy.

I imagine Blitzo gets strict with her about spending money on expensive clothes from Stylish Occult, and knowing her, it’s there’s a Will, there’s a way. So I think she tries to thrift for clothing and customizes them to look similar to the clothes they have from big gothic brand clothes.

As for Octavia, I went with a nugoth fashion and based her outfit off of modern gothbands like Lebonan Hanover. I’m sure she can afford a lot of that clothing, but just prefers to keep her look a bit minimalistic. I do plan to give her more of a perky goth style of a look if she really wants to do fun things with friends and if she has to be formal, I think she would dress in more romantic goth fashion when she’s around her people. But for her usual getup, she may keep it a bit minimalistic.

Nothing will change much with her character other than maybe having friends of her own that help her cope with their family struggles. I know I pan to rewrite how she meets Loona and how they both bond over having over bearing dads and what not.

I also have a headcanon, she doesn’t really like being around snobby rich people. She was always warned to stay away from imps, but she would sneak out to meet some friends of hers and she feels more like herself when she’s around them. I think being a princess of goetia, she may have a lot of fake friends around the royals that only befriend her for their own benefits. So her being around with imps and hellhounds in private, she could feel more peace and solitude with them.

Yes, I based Loona’s shirt off of Sisters of Mercy and gave Octavia a Lebonan Hanover necklace. Just because I wanna show hints of them really being into goth music. I think Octavia would love to find tickets to some bands they both enjoy for the both of them to get a front row seat :)

So I thought I’d throw up an excerpt of an upcoming Helluva Boss post on how Loona and Octavia already seem to represent a very interesting platonic foil to their fathers’ relationship. And more specifically to this point, why Loona’s actions in Seeing Stars hit way harder than I think a lot of people are giving her credit for:

I’ve seen a lot of people make the inference that Loona deciding to go looking for Octavia was this case of a ‘crisis of conscience’ where she realizes she ‘has to go find Octavia like Blitzo told her to’ because it’s ‘the right thing to do’.

And I think that interpretation really don’t give Loona herself enough credit. Or illustrates just how significant her actions her are. Because simply put, there was no reason Loona HAD to track Octavia down simply because Blitzo told her to. She’s completely blown him off before, and in fact we see her doing exactly that prior to stumbling across Octavia’s Sinstagram.

The blaring lyrics ‘Don’t wanna do what my daddy told me to!’ coming from Loona’s phone don’t exactly make this point subtle.

It’s clear that something spoke to Loona about Octavia when she found her Sinstagram. And I have a feeling that it had nothing to do with Blitzo. Most likely, it was something that made her realize that this girl is a LOT like her and going through a LOT of the same shit as her, and that she needed HELP. And Loona clearly could not bring herself to simply blow that off.

Loona didn’t need to put in literally all of the legwork in finding Octavia, spending what clearly seems to be all day tracking down Octavia through her sinstagram posts while Blitzo, Stolas and the M&Ms got caught up in various shenanigans.

She didn’t need to sit down with Octavia and give her the emotional closure and comfort that Octavia so desperately needed.

She didn’t need to be a FRIEND to Octavia.

But she DID.

Thank you to everyone who voted in the poll regarding Quantum! I’ve got the update on that for you all under the cut, as well as a few other updates to groups and the points shop. Aside from one or two, the group updates aren’t as major as Quantum’s, and the points shop updates are just the addition of new claims!

Group Updates

The vote came out at roughly 70% to 30% in favor of the Ateez/Enhypen/Tomorrow X Together configuration.

I have updated Quantum accordingly, with their name slightly altered to Quantumphase (also stylized Quantum/phase) This is both to reflect an updated brand identity as well as to help separate the previous version of Quantum to the new Quantumphase since the changes were major enough I felt that that was necessary. Their new page can be found here and they are once again open for applications as of this post.

I also did just a little bit of ‘spring’ cleaning before the end of the year to tighten things up. As a result, there have been slight tweaks to Ultraviolet and Cloud’s existing discographies (just the removal of Bvndit and Wanna One as model groups and the addition of couple past comebacks as a result). This shouldn’t affect any aspect of either group’s image, backstory, etc. IVE has been added to Candy to add in progressing their storyline of image evolution in the future.

A bigger change has been made to the group previously called Andromeda. They’ve been changed similarly to Quantumphase. They are now called Arcadia and have LOONA and Le Sserafim model groups. Their new page can be found here.

Calypso as a group has been removed as a playable group due to lack of interest. It’s been several months since any reserves or other interest has really come in for Calypso and though I considered a variety of ways to update them similarly to Quantum and Andromeda, I wasn’t able to come up with anything that fulfilled all three goals of likely generating more interest, staying true to Calypso’s place as one of the more senior groups, and not creating too many groups with concepts that are too similar. The spot has been turned into a past artist NPC group spot on Dimensions’ history page. A playable group may be added back to that spot in the near future if I’m able to find something that fulfills my requirements, but for now, Dimensions will have only Polaris, Quantumphase, and Arcadia as playable groups.

Though I only updated groups there were no muses in, I believe I reached out to anyone whose claims were affected by these tweaks to see what they’d like to do. If I missed you, please let me know!

I’m still working on updating all locations that ‘Quantum’, ‘Andromeda’, and ‘Calypso’ might be used, so consider that a work in progress for the moment.

Points Shop Updates

I’ve finally had the chance to add some claims to the points shop I’ve been meaning to add. Some of these were suggested/requested through our submission box, so thanks as always to everyone who sends their ideas in there. The following have been added:

Foreign market music claims, currently limited to Japanese, Chinese, and English-language albums targeted towards major markets that speak those languages (Japan, China/Taiwan, USA/Canada/UK/Australia respectively). These do not get a promotion period like Korean market albums do since most of these countries do not do music shows, at least not the same way Korea does, but these albums will allow your muse to officially debut in a foreign market.

Non-promoted collaboration singles and features with NPC foreign artists (in any language). How these work is best explained by reading the information and rules on these!

Single albums (for both Korean market and foreign market releases). These sit in size (and waiting periods) between digital singles and mini-albums.

Foreign acting projects. Again it’s important to read the rules here, and the qualifying roles are fairly limited due to these often putting a muse outside of the main center of action of the roleplay for an extended time, but acting claims in non-Korean dramas are claimable now/again.

Voice acting.

Brand event attendances.

YouTube vlog, dance performance, and cover releases on group/company YouTube channels. There still may be versions of this in schedules, but this allows you to claim them outside of schedules without a personal YouTube channel. This includes the new ability to have choreography or re-arrangement credits for a muse on certain dance performances or covers. A personal YouTube channel is still available, as that claim allows more frequent posting and more freedom.

A foreign variety show add-on for short-term variety main cast positions.

There has also been a slight rule change for variety claims. You no longer need to wait nine months to claim an ongoing show that doesn’t run on a season system (to see if it’s long-term or not), but if you claim an ongoing variety position, you must claim it as long-term and you will be refunded the difference if the show ends / the position reference leaves the show before a year.

Naturally, forms, rules, information, etc. for these may get tweaked as any submissions or questions come in and I realize I need more information from you or I need to share more information with you, but they’re claimable as of this post going up. Only voice acting and brand event attendances out of these are available for established career claims, since the other claim types are more complicated.

I’m trying to take a break from interacting with the fandom but I really had to get this theory out.

Another user was talking about how long “Hell years” could possibly be, and it’s an interesting question. However, they came to a VERY different conclusion than I did. They took evidence from king Solomon that it had to be 118 earth years.

Personally I don’t like using old texts as my main evidence since we’ve seen multiple times that Vizie changes things from them. I don’t find it to reliable enough to use. I use it for inspiration at most. Just because something happened in mythology, doesn’t mean it happened in this universe. Every adaptation is like that. Not saying others can’t use that stuff, it’s just not my style. So I will strictly be looking at the show itself and the Hazbin Hotel pilot.

First up, let’s make a few things clear:

Many cultures have their own calendars systems. It is possible that Hell years might be something similar to that since the original inhabitants probably had their own system before sinners started appearing.

Sinners probably still use their old system, and as such, both Earth and Hell years are common and valid forms of keeping track of dates in this world.

I believe Hell’s technology growth mimics Earth’s. While the other theory countered this with the fact that it could be the other way around, it’s just headcanon based and I will be following my own headcanons until proven otherwise. I also have a counter to this in one of my upcoming points. Besides, with all the sinners coming down, especially with their spot on the higherarchy, it just makes sense to me that they have an influence on Hell’s culture.

This isn’t me trying to go “grrr other theory bad!” No, I just got the idea from it, and I like discussing theories. I actually really enjoy that person’s blog and if anything this is mostly me having fun and wanting to spark discussion.

Alright, let’s get to it!

The clock tower

While pilots are often changed, I don’t think the lore will change that much so I still think it’s worth bringing up.

Either this shows that Earth years are a common system down there. I don’t think exterminations would be following Hell years if they are longer. With population control, they don’t wanna wait too long otherwise that would give them more work. However, IF, by the chance that they are following Hell years…this just confirms it’s the same as ours and “Hell Years” is just a title that refers to what marks a year in Hell since it ain’t rotation around the sun…which would mark this post as completely useless. Still, it is the only thing we see referencing a year, and thus, it’s worth noting either way.

Loona’s adoption

Two points come from this one: her age, and the photo. Let’s talk about her age first, since her age was referred to as “hell years” outside of the show.

Loona mentions she was almost 18 or something when Blitzo adopted her. Meaning this picture would be set a few hell years back. Now, notice how this picture has color. If he’ll years lasted an exceedingly long time, it would either be in black and white or there would be no picture at all. Meaning, Loona had to grow up in modern times.

Alastor’s manifestation and influence

To quote Vaggie: “Decades ago, Alastor manifested in Hell”

It’s unknown if she’s using Earth time or Hell time, BUT we do get evidence that Hell’s tech mimics ours.

Alastor was a radio host in the 1920s-early 30’s. When he came down, that radio trend was still alive and very popular. Like Vox, he took over the radio. The point of reflection to our world comes in once you consider their rivalry. Alastor is old school technology, he had his day, but Vox came around once TV hit and radio was left in the dust. I mean it’s all about video killed the radio star with them.

If Hell’s technically was ahead of us, why would this happen? Why is it that radio was popular down there at the same time it was on earth? Why would TV blow radio out of the water when going on that logic, it would probably already exist? That would really throw a wrench into their plot line and narrative.

A glimpse into the 1950’s

In Alastor’s official comic, it’s the earliest we’ve seen of Pentagram City. One thing I wanna note, I believe that some sinners like to hold onto the past, so no matter what year it is, there will be people with old fashioned clothing, objects, etc. But we do know this comic AT LEAST takes place in the 1950s because that’s when Vox came to Hell and to power.

If Hell’s tech didn’t mimic ours, I find it odd how things that fit the 50’s, and nothing like cell phones and crap that we see throughout the show. Even the only car we see is an old model

I don’t think this is a 50’s car. I don’t know shit about cars but the wheels don’t look 50s to me, it look more 40’s or 30’s, maybe earlier. BUT, this car isn’t modern, and in a society that advances way before ours…it’s just odd that we don’t see any of it.

Young Charlie picture

I’m sure we’re all familiar with the look and aesthetic of Stolas’s childhood. It looked the same way it does in the show, as to be expected from the childhood of someone in their 30’s.

Charlie is over 100, I think 200?? While there are what looks like to be paintings, there is what looks like a photograph.

All dressed up and ready for the titanic. This is clearly a very old picture, based on both the Edwardian clothing and colors. This makes sense considering how old Charlie is, she would’ve been a kid back in these days. That, and we know for fact she’s older than Stolas. Her aging is clearly slower than his (though I have no doubt Stolas could live to be very old. He just ages faster)

And honestly I’d just be repeating my previous points I made in the last two sections.

So, what do I think?

I still think Hell Years are different than Earth years. There’s no way I can narrow down to an exact length, BUT I don’t think Hell years are absurdly long or short. They’re different, but not completely unfamiliar, much like calendars in other cultures, or years on planets like Mars or Venus.

So, really this post is just me speculating and talking about things that caught my interest. I hope Vizie tells us eventually. I also hope this inspires everyone to come up with their own takes and headcanons.

Striker and Blitz story ideas ^^

Okay guys I watched the new Helluva boss episode and I am in love wit Striker and his dynamic wit Blitz is everything !!! So here's so little plot bunnies that I may or may not end up writing depends on my mood ^^

Canon divergent where Striker joins IMP: so Striker joins IMP where he slowly convinces everyone to rebel against the overlords and fight back against them and Blitzo becomes his partner and lover and both work together to get to the top

Revenge: Striker wants revenge on Stolas and what better way to get back at him than seducing his "Blitzy"

A/N: Sure I hope you like it.

When Hyejoo dropped out of school you and Yerim decided to stay, but Yerim goes to a different school than you and Yeojin. Originally you went to Yerim's school but decided to switch to Yeojin's so that you could spend more time with your maknae. You hardly see each other during school hours but you come and go together every day. Over time, Yeojin seems to withdraw from you a little. Urging you to leave earlier than her and avoiding your eyes when you or the members ask what's wrong.

The members have been looking to you for answers, but you don't have any to give, which frustrates you to no end. She used to tell you all about her day on the way home, but now when you do go home together she's much quieter than you've ever seen her.

Today as usual you feel Haseul burning a hole in the side of your head. Neither of you speaks up or says anything so the tension only rises until you look at her dead in the eye. Haseul can tell from the look in your eyes that it's killing you too, maybe even more than anyone else. So she says nothing. She sighs and pats your shoulder before getting up to finish packing Yerim, Yeojin, and your lunches. She has always insisted on making your lunch so that she knows your eating. Though Yeojin always seems starved when she comes home.

"Yeojin-ah! Yerim-ah! Come on you two, you only have 10 minutes to eat your breakfast." Haseul calls out to her other younger members.

The two come running down the stairs giggling together when they both beam at you, already sitting and eating your cereal. You give them both your best smile even though it's a bit forced at this point. It's always like this. Yeojin smiles in the morning when she wakes up, but the moment you get in the van together her frown comes out and she doesn't talk at all. Not today though, today you were getting to the bottom of this no matter what.

Fifteen minutes later you and Yeojin are hugging Yerim goodbye before heading to your usual van for school while she heads to hers. Yeojin is abnormally quiet again but you don't try to push her. You do your best to keep an eye on her throughout the day when you realize you never gave her the lunch Haseul handed to you for her. With your teacher's permission, you make your way to the class you know Yeojin should be in but when you look in she isn't there. You check the bathroom near her class and hear voices so you go in as quietly as possible and stand against the wall by the door and out of sight.

"Come on seriously? I thought that dumb unnie of yours makes you lunch every day, now we're gonna be hungry you idiot." A girl you recognize as Park Hyemi, a girl in Yeojin's class, standing over your maknae with two others you don't recognize. What's clear is that they're much bigger than Yeojin and she looks uncomfortable, scared even.

Yeojin doesn't respond she just keeps her head down and does her best not to cry.

"What's the matter Yeojin? Why don't you call for your precious Y/n unnie to come to save you? We'd love to beat on her too." This seems to spark something in Yeojin when she looks up and scoffs. An instant reaction to the mention of you and a newfound confidence that proves she believes the next thing that comes out of her mouth.

"I haven't told Y/n unnie about you for your own sakes."

"Oh? And why is that shrimp for brains." Yeojin shrugs her shoulders and doesn't hesitate.

"Because I'm afraid she'd kill you."

They laugh at her and shove her in the stall behind her, intending to start beating on her again. You open the door and call Yeojin's name to create the illusion that you're just arriving and walk in with her lunchbox and a phony smile plastered on your face.

"Yeojin-ah?" You walk deeper into the bathroom to find the three girls lined up next to each other and smiling nervously at you. With Yeojin stepping out of the stall looking a little disheveled but relieved to see you.

"Unnie? What are you doing here?" Yeojin breathes out with worry. Her eyes keep shifting to the three girls doing their best to look as innocent as possible.

"I accidentally stole your lunch, kiddo. You wanna eat together since I came all this way to find you?" Her tiny face lights up immediately.

"Yes unnie, let's go!" Yeojin turns to you and tries to push you out of the bathroom and you can't help but chuckle.

"Wait Yeojinnie, aren't you going to introduce me to your friends?" The girls perk up and extend their hands to you with excitement that makes you want to vomit on all three of them. They introduce themselves as Hyemi, Doyoung, and Minha. You just smile an ominously sweet smile at them while looking each in the eye. Their hands are left hanging in the space between you.

"Well. I hope to meet you all again soon. Please take care of my Yeojinnie," You pause, tilting your head to the side with what they would only describe as a terrifying smile on your face. "Or. Else."

They all pale remembering Yeojin's words from earlier. You turn and give Yeojin a genuine smile and put your hands on her cheeks, smoothing them a little.

"Let's go eat, okay?"

Yeojin nods at you and takes your hand in hers as you leave the bathroom together but the moment you two are out of the bathroom your face changes and your body stiffens but you don't let go of Yeojin's hand. You actually pull her closer into your side like you don't want anyone else touching her and she knows that you saw more than you originally let on.

"Unnie-" She begins but you cut her off immediately.

"Not another word until we get outside Yeojin. But believe we will be discussing this."

The smaller girl quiets but walks closer to your side than usual. The truth of the matter was she had been dealing with these girls for months now, always wishing she could reach out to you for help but she knows you too well. She's seen how heated you get just at antis posting bad things about your members online. She knows that you value her like a real little sister and she was more afraid of what you'd do if you found out. You get outside and under the tree, you two used to eat under all the time before she started withdrawing from you.

At first, you don't speak you just open both of your lunches and add about half of yours to hers so that she had more to eat than you. You crack open the special chopsticks that you bought her for her last birthday with her name engraved on them and hand them to her with her extra full lunch. Yeojin tries to protest you giving up so much of your food but the look on your face leaves no room for any argument.

The two of you eat in silence but it's comfortable for her. This is the first time in months that she feels safe. The first time in months that she's actually gotten to eat one of Haseul's specially made lunches and in peace. The emotion builds up for her so much that she doesn't even notice the tears streaming down her face until she feels you wiping them, away. She looks up at you and sees the neutrality of your features but the rage burning behind your eyes.

"How long has this been going on and why haven't you told anyone?"

"About 3 months. I didn't want anyone to worry about me. I feel like a burden already as it is. I feel like I annoy you guys all the time."

"First of all, that's too long for us to go to the same school and you not tell me. I thought we were closer than that Yeojin. Second, you could never really be annoying. We love you Yeojin. And you should know that I would do almost anything for you."

"And that's what I'm scared of! I don't want you getting in trouble because of me."

"I won't. I'm going to get in trouble because of me." Yeojin furrows her brows and pauses eating, chopsticks mid-air. When she goes to speak you hold your hand up to quiet her.

"So here's what's going to happen. Tomorrow you don't feel good. I'll back you up, whatever it takes but you aren't coming to school tomorrow and I'll handle this my way. Understood?"

"But unnie you can't-" Her protests fall on deaf ears.

"Do you understand me Im Yeojin?" Your voice never raises but the look on your face tells her that there is no changing your mind anymore.

The rest of the day Yeojin manages to dodge her bullies until it's time to go home and they corner her in the classroom after everyone else leaves. But they don't know that your already a step ahead and before they can even speak you're in the doorway sweetly calling Yeojin's name.

"Kiddo, let's go. The unnies and I have a surprise for you waiting at the dorm." You reach out your hand for her and she smiles genuinely at you for the 3rd time today. It's nice to see.

Yeojin takes you and allows you to put your arm around her shoulder when she approaches you. You smile that same scary smile at the three girls looking dumbfounded as you two walk away. This time you don't change your demeanor or try to scold her. You just happily talk with your maknae all the way home.

When you arrive home together talking and laughing arm in arm the members are pleasantly surprised. Almost immediately you have to go to a schedule and all throughout nobody misses the way Yeojin clings to you. More than she used to before her attitude changed a few months back. When she finally lets you go to use the bathroom everyone turns to you with raised eyebrows and you just give them a knowing smile.

If you tell them now, they may try to stop you from doing what you're planning. You know full well what you intend is wrong and you know that the consequences will be heavy, but you can't bring yourself to care. The thought of those girls pushing Yeojin around and hurting her in any capacity has your better judgment going into hibernation.----------------------

The next morning, you lie to Haseul through your teeth about how Yeojin seems sick and she plays along. Haseul doesn't question it because you've never lied to her before. So you go on your way to school alone. You wait until the period before lunch to skip your class and wait outside of Yeojin's class for the three troublemakers to come out.

Back home Yeojin gets antsy waiting around. You haven't responded to her texts and she can only put on the sick charade for so long. Haseul is the first to notice and then Hyejoo.

"Why do you look so worried?" Hyejoo asks her younger friend.

That's all it takes she gathers everyone in the living room before she starts telling the yesterday's events at school. Meanwhile, her class lets out and the three girls you were waiting for stop right in their tracks when they see you leaning against the wall with your arms crossed. The thing is they may be bigger than Yeojin but they aren't bigger than you. Not to say your maknae is defenseless but you and Hyejoo are known for your strength for a reason.

"So what was it you said yesterday? You'd love to beat on me too?"

They all grow a little paler when you push off the wall and stand in front of them.

"Hit me, if you've got the guts."

So Hyemi does. she punches you square in the mouth, instantly busting your lip. You stumble back a little but you're quick to stand solid again. You don't bother wiping away the blood on your lip, opting to smile at them instead.

"Again."

This time all three girls come after you but you're quick. One thing nobody but your members knew was that you, like Jiwoo, are a third-degree black belt in taekwondo and working on your fourth. You catch Doyoung right behind the ear with a roundhouse kick that has her down and disoriented while you dodge Hyemi and Minha's efforts to hit you. They aren't prepared for the power in your legs or the speed that you have in general when you sweep both of theirs legs from under them and stomp your foot down next to their heads.

"If you ever bother my Yeojinnie again. We're going to have serious problems, you get me?"

They nod and stay down as you walk yourself to the principal's office. He takes one look at you and gets concerned but he doesn't have to wait for an explanation. You tell him how they bullied Yeojin and so you returned the favor. He ended up giving you 3 days of out-of-school suspension. You're smart so you saved yourself a lot of trouble when you let them hit you first. Even smarter for provoking the, right in front of a camera for proof purposes. So you were sent home.

When you got back to the dorm Yeojin was wrapping up her story to the members and they all looked at you with jaws on the floor at the blood from your lip dripping onto your uniform. Yeojin runs up to you with a tissue and wipes some blood from your forehead too, brushing a wound that you didn't even know was there. You reach for your forehead and chuckle at the fact that one of them, managed to scratch you.

"Um..what's so funny Y/n? Look at you! You're a mess." Haseul is the first to address you with words.

"Don't worry about it unnie, I'm fine. I am suspended for 3 days but it was worth it."

"What was worth it?" Jinsol asks from her position on the couch.

You don't look at the unnies because you know they are staring daggers at you. Instead, you look to Yeojin and wrap her in a tight hug.

"I took care of it." You're loud enough for everyone to hear you and they put two and two together. Yeojin told the members that you seemed to have a plan but they weren't expecting this. There is just silence in the room as you hug Yeojin with all your might.

"Did you win?" Finally, someone speaks relieving the tension a little as everyone is surprised to see Jiwoo speak up.

"Of course I won unnie. This was just necessary damage, that's all." You chuckle when Yeojin hits your arm lightly. Jiwoo smiles and high-fives you. "That's my girl."

"So who's going to explain this to Yerim when she gets home?" Haseul asks. You and Yeojin look at each other and shout simultaneously.

"Not it!"

Hi! If you do not mind, I'm just wondering about some headcanons about your oc helluva boss character Karmen. I'm just waiting for the premier of season 2 and summer break has begun, so I have a lot of time to kill. Give me the delicious angst! (please)

Hmm…I don’t really know what to give for headcanons in case it spoils a certain chapter coming up so I hope these suffice…

I like to think she has heard the last mating call of the Kauaʻi ʻōʻō bird. Sometimes her own miserable factoids will scare Moxxie into asking if she’s okay only to get laughter in return like crazed laughter if she’s having one of those days or just silence.  Moxxie can be at times unnerved about Karma but that’s because he thinks one of these days she’s going to snap and kill the IMP crew which is the reason for their not so close relationship.

Millie on the other hand will try to put an optimistic twist to it though there are certain factoids which she can’t do and will just hug her, saying how great of a person she is which Karma can’t help but dispute about internally, since she knows how fierce Millie can be.

Blitz and Loona on the other hand listen to these factoids, finding them either interesting or funny though there is a limit where Blitzo will just tell Karma to stop while Loona will just shrug it off being on her phone or something.  

I’ll throw some Striker x Karma in as well- The two of them are a power couple but when it comes to initiating physical affection Striker tends to be the one to initiate only because he sees Karma clearly struggling to initiate it like he can tell she wants to but struggles so he often wraps his tail around her waist bringing her close.

If Karma does do it she uses her tail to poke or at the least shyly wrap around Striker’s leg to hint at her wanting a hug, which Striker finds adorable

 I can see if either of them are distressed they’d wrap their tails around each other, just to help them both know they aren’t alone in all this

For the angsty one, some days they’ll be days where Karma won’t answer the phone, won’t post anything, days where she is practically missing. She also has days where she’ll forget to eat, bathe or drink, it’s mainly on the same days these two things happen. Millie and Blitzo are the ones to normally help her with it but if Striker notes her being offline and sees her having an off day I could see him bring her into a hug where they’ll hug on the bed, with him getting out his guitar or something to distract her or at the least make sure she eats something.

Jamil is a smart attractive man that is incredibly talented despite flying under the radar. People know of him but don’t take note until they know him, similarly to this song. It goes hard and you’ve probs heard it mentioned but you haven’t experienced until you played it at 3 am, screaming your heart out. Get to know Jamil and he ain’t just “some guy”

- Um Oh Ah Yeh by MAMAMOO || This song reminds me of the 90s/2000s and there’s something about Kalim that also does that for me. Maybe it’s the not a care in the world disposition. I can see and feel in the second verse’s rap, Kalim’s warm smile. I can imagine him grabbing my hand, telling me to chin up. The choruses make me think of simpler times. Finally, Kalim seems like he’s always having a good time just like this song

When I see Ortho, I feel the need to protect him but also can’t help but feel like everything will be okay. The peppy beat of it just makes me think about how he almost always is smiling!

The song tastes like iced tea and feels like nostalgia. When I look at Idia I see my past self and even present self. I’m afraid, I want to hide. The feelings the verses gives me reminds me of laying in bed, curled up in a jacket that hides my whole body, similarly to Idia’s. The song and Idia’s character call out to a nostalgic but soft side to a distant past I can’t recall. I want to stay with them until I can remember

I see the noise Hwasa makes at the end as the wanton but confused noise fans make as the man leaves, tail swinging after teasing them

- Bomb by AleXa || This song kicks your ass and so does Jack. Don’t for four seconds think he won’t beat the shit outta ya for underestimating him, similarly to AleXa and her music. The energy and the “I’ll show you” vibes remind me of this big dweeb. I would fear this man but turn to love him much like how I felt about this song as it was this artist’s first song. How do I say they just embody each other in my opinion lol

The power the song holds reminds me of his unique magic and how intense it is. Finally, the slower bridge is mythical and light as if giving the listener a feeling like they are walking on air and plays to the softer and more feminine side of Vil

Rook

- FINGERTIP by GFriend || Everything about this song is exciting. It’s suspenseful and alluring. If this song was a person, I could clear as day see it winking, whispering “chase me.” And that is exactly Rook’s brand of teasing and games. He’s a hunter but he’s got a charming aura to him still. This song wraps both of those things into it. The dance break is Rook’s darker senses personified. Umji’s lil “OW!” is he’s cute lil remarks in french, throwing you off now and then. But by the end of the song, you’re used to them and adore them

- Crossroads by GFriend || This song feels like a long lost friend that visits you in dreams. You can practically reach out to them but just as you do, you wake up. But you’re determined. That alone reminds me of Epel’s character as a whole. He doesn’t let his cute appearance push aside his wants and needs to be this tough guy. He, like Yuju’s strong vocals at the last chorus, presses on, determined each time he gets knocked down

We don’t know his true age but it’s clear he’s been around for quite a wild and the pain he’s probably gone through is unspeakable. He has stories galore and so much experience in life. I feel this song encapsulates a lot of what can only be speculated about him

- Crème Brûlée by GFriend || the soft, sweet song is addictive and cutesy. I feel Silver gets written off or ignored often, similarly to this song on the album. Sure he may not be god or a bad bad bitch, but he has his own warmth to him. Like this song, Silver makes me wanna curl up under a tree on an August evening and just take in life, making sure to breathe for once, releasing unnecessary tension and stress.

Sebek

- Black Dress by CLC || Sebek is very interesting to me and when he blushes, my whole heart stops for a second. It’s similar to how when they build up to the chorus‘s first Black Dress and the music stops for like a split second. Sebek isn’t my favorite but isn’t my least favorite. I like him more than some though, I’d say. I’d say the same goes for this song. I love CLC, this isn’t my top song of theirs but I still like it a lot. There’s something uniform about the beat that resounds with Sebek as getting shit done in mind also. Sometimes a song just makes you think of a character and you can’t perfectly explain it

Malleus intidimates me in general cause of his aura, and while I love this song a lot rn, it was very intimidating at first. It still has some “don’t come near me” energy. This is the very vibe Cater always gives me. He wants to just have a good, happy life. Also the song is a “so what? I’m hot. Get over it.” vibe like Cater

Drama feels like a soundtrack of every fun adventure Ace goes on, no matter the trouble that he may get on. It’s fun beat just brings me back to skipping school, running to my car and trying to sneak away without getting caught. The thought of Ace at my side, would shoot my adrenaline through the roof just like the high note of the song

- God’s Menu by Stray Kids || Deuce is just ready to go swinging and that’s exactly what this song is. Elbows up and out, head down, swinging without a clue. The intensity and fire of it speaks to that fire in him. Meanwhile the prechoruses are soft and pleasant almost like it’s not the same song, alluding to that cute lil smile he has got

- REALLY REALLY by WINNER || Similarly to Ace, this song reminds me of a guy you fall for, but in college rather than high school. Everything about the song and Trey just feels right. The choruses hold your hand and fits perfectly in yours. They know what to say to make everything okay. It may not last, but you sure hope it does and will love them like it will. And while Trey isn’t my number one boy, those are the exact feelings I have about him too. Finally, the rap part reminds me of Trey’s more sadistic side, it bites and you may not think it fits entirely but the more familiar you get with them, the more both fit and you don’t mind it entirely

- Wonderland by ATEEZ || The demanding nature of the song makes me think of Riddle immediately. It’s intense and doesn’t mess around; it wants what it wants. Riddle is a rule based person and this song is rather militaristic aesthetically. The bridge though, is so regal and breathtaking. It could stop time. Riddle, despite the kind of guy he is, is the same way. The power he holds is impressive and admirable. This description may seem kinda like I’m shitting on him and see him solely as a rule boy, but like this song, I have made respect for him and wouldn’t want to cross him

The choruses remind me of his smile, how distant but inviting it is. Daring me to fall for him. The dance break bridge reminds me of the intense eyes behind those glasses

- Love Shot by EXO || This song and Jade are both things I am fearful of but greatly intrigued by. They share a scary beat and energy that says I fear you more when you’re smiling. Please stop slowly walking towards me, you’re scaring me. But at the very same time, the choruses keep me around like how pretty I find this twin. The combo of put together, intellectual friend but could kill easily and without remorse sends shivers down my spine if I think about it for too long. The chorus of this song make me shake my shoulders that suppress a shiver each time

- WEE WOO by Pristin || I love both Floyd and WEE WOO. The song is the feeling you get going 85 down the highway. Both song and Floyd, get me excited. They feel like the weekend. The aromas cause your lips to curl up at their sides, and you sit up -- beginning to pull covers on from your frame.

Just as one of your feet is about to meet the ground, Yoongi enters with a tray full of breakfast items. He places the tray in front of you on the bed, and leans in for a kiss. 

“You’re wearing these again, Min?” You ask, looking Yoongi up and down. His “pajamas” consist of a long, Fear of God tee and his Shooky boxers. His dark hair sprouts in different directions, and his cheeks are still puffy the bowls of ramen he consumed the night before. 

“Shooky shooky okey dokey,” You scrunch your nose and dance as you look at him, tickling his chin. His gummy smile appears and you continue to peck his lips as you chuckle to yourself. He sits down next to you and watches you cut your meal as he runs his fingers through his hair.

“God, you know I love you Yoongi, but what’s this all about?” You inquire, your eyes wide and blooming with satisfaction as you take a few chomps from the french toast on your fork. You moan at how delicious the bread is as you furiously chew, waiting for a response. 

Yoongi was the fucking best at swaying you with his home-cooked meals, but you had to wonder what he was up to this time.

Yoongi hangs his head low, messing his fingers through the covers on the bed. 

You sip a frustrated air in through your nostrils, and you lick the inside of your cheek as you observe him.

“Again, Yoongi?” Your expressions falls, and you shift into staring at him with inquisitive, puppy dog eyes.Yoongi senses it and continues to avoid eye contact with you -- knowing it’ll make it futile to resist you.

“You’ve been working late at the studio the last few weeks, though,” You plead, putting your fork down. He looks up at you, his fingers tangling further into the bunched up in the fabric on the bed. 

Yoongi knew how much working late upset you, but this was something you couldn’t change about him. Working on his music was something he had to do; something that was enmeshed in the fabric of his being . He constantly had to make music -- he constantly had to create .

“Can I trouble you then?” You whisper out as your finger floats his chin up to make his eyes meet yours. After you move the tray of food over on the bed, you crawl up next to him and sit on the back of your legs. 

“Babe, I’m already late...” There’s a resistance in his eyes, but as soon as you tilt your head and place a soft kiss on his lips, his lips dissolve into your own. He looks at you, his brows coming together in adoration as he licks away the sticky, syrupy matter he picks up from your lips. 

“Mhmm,” You smile as you coax him into another kiss and pull him down to the bed. He chuckles low in his throat, his full gummy smile on display again. His hands start to roam the soft curves of your own form as he leans his full body weight onto you. 

Your legs wrap around his waist as his tongue slips inside your mouth, exploring every crevice.

Yoongi moves to slip the fleecy fabric of your shirt up, and his fingers twiddle with your nipples. He massages the heaping handfuls of your breasts as he continues to dive further into your lips. He slides down in between your legs, pulling off your underwear before flinging it to the ground.

“Nothing at all , maybe ...just your favorite pink lace underwear?” You emit a long, deep breath into the phone.

A choked breath emits from the other side of the line, and you bite your lip as you look up, and to your left. After a pause, you silently grin, drumming your fingers on the table.

“Hmm, is your free hand down your pants, Min?” You put the phone on mute to chuckle to yourself.

More silence follows with a soft succession of moans, telling you all you needed to know.

“What are you doing?” He asks, his voice coming out in a crackle over the receiver.

“Just...touching myself. Playing with myself,” You croon as you lean back in the chair, the receiver in the crook between your neck and shoulder as you massage your puffed lips.

You knew Yoongi was jerking himself off on the other side of the line by now, as noted by his muffled breaths, and you let out a fluttery moan at the thought.

Yoongi flicks a few buttons, and a song with a sexy, synth beat, and 808’s pulses through the room. Yoongi’s rapping voice comes out in a low, sultry whisper that’s fluid with the beat, and you sway your hips on top of him.

“I’ve been up late trying to get this song done for the album. But it was missing one thing.”

“Oh, and what’s that?” You ask, looking at his fingers zip through pressing all of the buttons.

After a few moments, some of your moans infiltrate the punctuations in his raps. 

“Oh my god Yoongi -- no! This is what you’ve been up to this whole time? This is so good!” You beam, throwing your head back in laughter. 

As your head leans back on his shoulder, Yoongi places a kiss on your lips.

“I knew you’d like it,” Yoongi presses his nose into the tip of your own, his lips smiling into another kiss.

I don’t actually know any about Obey Me, but mind telling me about it? It seems interesting and I might get into it but I’m not sure 🤔

Okay so Obey Me is an otome made by NTT Solmare as part of the “Shall We Date” games.

The plot of this one is that you are a human sent to the Devildom as part of an exchange program where two angels and two humans are sent to devildom to form a better connection with each other blah blah, your standard plot line of being the new transfer at a school. But with demons.

The main love interests are seven brothers based on the deadly sins, who also basically act as your caretakers/roommates since you end up staying at their mansion. They include:

Lucifer, the first born, and Avatar of Pride, who basically is like Sebastian from Black Butler except you are one of the guests. Literally titled as a sadist since y’all like that shit.

Mammon, the second born, and Avatar of Greed (ALSO A CREDIT CARD STEALER DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CREDIT CARD OUT FOR HIM). An actual idiot. God I love him.

Leviathan, the third born, and Avatar of Envy. He’s a weeb. An actual, real life weeb. And it makes me want to simultaneously punch him and discuss anime with him. Leviathan says “Stan Loona/Twice”

Satan, the fourth, Avatar of Wrath. He reads books. He also hates Lucifer. Also he likes INSULTING ME IN FRONT OF LUCIFER HE IS A CANCELLED MAN, HOW DARE YOU DENY THAT LUCIFER LIKES ME AND THEN CALL ME A DIMWIT THIS IS UNFAIR

Asmodeus, the fifth, Avatar of Lust. Narcissist. Imagine like... mixing Kuzco before he redeemed himself with like... Belial.... except he dresses in pink. Enjoy your hot mess of a man.

Beelzebub, the sixth, Avatar of Gluttony. A good boy. A hungry boy. Please feed him. Blease. He needs it, and I will feed him.

I’m not gonna talk about the seventh since in game, technically, he’s a spoiler, but you can easily find him in promotional pics and stuff.

The main plot line is just kind of fun and easy, it’s not heavily dramatic or grim dark, it’s just about how you, a human, collectively assert your dominance over these STUPID MEN by forming pacts with them so they bend to your will. Each Chapter is just these brothers being crackheads, I cry every time because you think Mammon will use his brain, but then he doesn’t, and so you’re left crying over why this man is FREAKING DUMB!!!

Anyways, now that we got like, the story out of the way, you’re prolly wondering like “okay so what’s the standard fare? What kind of love challenges and game mechanics are we talking here?” And anon, boy am I glad to tell you, we don’t get love challenges.

Basically instead, what you get is similar to like card games where you summon cards of characters and level them up to- you ain’t gonna believe this- have a dance off. I’m not joking. You literally have a dance off. Anyways, it’s super easy, it ain’t tedious, you can get good cards real quick and do a lot of upgrading real fast, you aren’t gonna struggle that bad to be honest. Everything is incredibly easy to get, and while the dance offs can get a bit tedious, especially when you want to read the story, they’re pretty much harmless. You might be worried about “types” and stuff but honestly I’ve been using the same three cards since the beginning and we do just fine. You just gotta throw some grimm at the boys to level them up and you’re a-okay.

There are events, and they work similar to the normal story mode but this time you can only do each quest 3 times per day (like standard fare in most games) so it ain’t too bad. The stories are kinda funny, like right now, they’re all butlers serving you. Incredible.

Almost forgot, but there’s a “chat” button with each boy and occasionally in groups. You can’t physically call them up or chat with them, they text you first. You are in no obligation to answer to be honest, and they have no bearing on the actual plot. They mostly provide some more characterization for the boys and how they interact, and occasionally bring up some dramatic elements or continuous plotlines that just happened in the story. It may boast that it’s “like Mystic Messenger” and “answer as fast as you can” but if you don’t feel like, you don’t have to. I just let mine pile up to like over 90 before I read it all. Nothing bad happens so don’t fret.

If you wanna know about my PERSONAL ranking of the boys though, I can easily do so in another post, but I think you kinda can tell who you may like. The boys do get a bit of growth in the story, especially characters like Mammon and Satan, and they all go through a change since you came along. If you do want me to go in depth and explain each boy a bit more later, I definitely can, I do want to just talk about them, what I like and don’t like, so you all can read it and maybe get an idea of each character.

Honestly? It’s a FUN game. The art may look a bit... wack when you first join, it’s kind of jarring and can be downright ugly at first, but over time you get used to the style and see the improvement too. The characters are wonderful, the story is entertaining, the game modes never feel awful or tiring like in other otome games.

So my verdict: if you want to see demons act like crackheads, then download. You will not be disappointed. They’re all morons. Go and get them all!

Ranking Female K-Pop Rookies Part 1: Concept

Hi! I’m new to Tumblr and I thought I’d try it out just for fun! This is my first post and I’m going to be ranking female rookies in my opinion by different categories. I have around 9 categories planned out and I’m going to be starting off with concept. The artists I’m going to be using are (G)I-DLE, Nature, GWSN, Loona, Fromis_9, Iz*One, Itzy, Rocket Punch, BVNDIT, Everglow, Somi and Cherry Bullet. 

Part 1: Concept 

DISCLAIMER: THIS IS MY PERSONAL OPINION AND IT’S COMPLETELY OKAY IF YOURS IS DIFFERENT FROM MINE! PLEASE JUST DON’T ATTACK ME ON MINE! NO HATE IS INTENDED TO ANY OF THE ARTISTS I MENTION! I’M ALSO TRYING TO KEEP AS LOW BIAS AS POSSIBLE BUT BE WARNED BECAUSE I DO NOT HARDCORE STAN ALL OF THE ARTISTS AND IF I ACCIDENTALLY INCLUDE SOME BIAS I APOLOGIZE. 

12: Everglow

It pains me to put Everglow last on the list, however to me their concept seems to be just typical girl crush. It’s a concept that suits them very well, it’s just that girl crush is a very common and it’s well recognized throughout the industry. However, I did adore the Adios concept with the military jackets and reminded me of SNSD’s genie release. Although Everglow is last on my concept list, I do think that they should keep up this concept and continue to make it their own in a special way. 

11: Nature

I really like Nature’s concept and as I said with Everglow, it suits them very well. I’d describe Nature’s concept as a mix of experimental and cute. Their songs are very different from anything I’ve ever heard before, however, in all honesty their experimental sides don’t really click with me. You’ll Be Mine and Oopsie My Bad both have very “noisy” drops which for me, I have to be in a certain mood to listen to. As far as I can tell, most songs like that you either love them or hate them which comes across as a very risky concept. Their other songs are cute to me which I like more, however just as with Everglow, again have a familiar feeling of concept to them. They still do make it their own and pull it off very well, it’s just not something I personally click with. I am very glad that we do have a girl group who’s trying out this experimental style of music however and really hope that they continue to push the boundaries of traditional cute concepts.

10: BVNDIT

I absolutely love the aesthetics of this group. Their concept is sort of a chic girl crush concept which I adore. It gives the typical concept of girl crush a super artsy and aesthetic flair to it. It changes up the girl crush concept and personalizes it to become theirs. I’m really excited to see how they expand upon this further. I can also tell they’re a very versatile group with lots of different concepts that can be pulled off. The only reason that they aren’t higher on the list is due to me preferring other groups concepts is all. Either way I really hope that they continue on with this concept in their future. 

9: Somi

I’m really glad to see Somi having finally debuted and in a concept that suited her fairly well. I really liked the sort of hip-hop teen crush concept that Birthday had. It’s a very fun concept that results in very catchy songs getting stuck in your head. It has a very unique feel to it and really just makes you wanna get up and dance. It also has a very feelgood vibe to it which I really like. I just hope that she actually gets a comeback and we can see her further establish her own concept. 

8: Rocket Punch

I find that Rocket Punch has a very unique concept to them which is very refreshing. Their music is honestly very unlike anything I’ve ever heard in K-Pop and I hope we continue to get consistent releases with this refreshing sound to them. The concept is very fun and has a super bright energy to it which I love. I really hope they keep up with this concept and I can’t wait to see more from them. 

7: GWSN 

I really love the mythical feel of this concept and the whole “Park In The Night” trilogy all fit together very well and I loved the unique feel to it. It’s overall very interesting to me and all the songs are differentiated, however also different in their own way. I really hope that now that the trilogy has ended they continue with a concept similar. 

6: Fromis_9

I’m gonna just outright say it: I’m in love with the CF concept of Fun and honestly it’s half of the reason that they made it this high on the list. I also really like how the concept has diversified over time. It started out as a traditional schoolgirl concept with To Heart which was playing off of Idol School, a cute summer song with giant cats which I love???, the bomb comic-like concept of Love Bomb, to the CF’s of Fun. I just really find their music videos super fun to watch and really like how they’ve differentiated their concept from other cute concepts. 

5: (G)I-DLE

I think all of (G)I-DLE’s concepts are so different and they pull it all off so well. Every concept is so different from the other, yet similar at the same time. Every single release (G)I-DLE has made has had such a different vibe and it’s all so original. They’ve really made the girl crush concept their own and it’s very interesting. Just as I said with Fromis_9, it’s been interesting to watch their growth through concepts. Latata had a market type concept to it which was very unique to me, Hann had a desert concept also very original, Senorita with the bad luck concept which I absolutely adored, Uh-Oh with the motor bike street concept and Lion with the queen concept. Even their upcoming comeback appears to have an angel/devil concept which I also love. All of these concepts create such stunning visuals and proves how diverse (G)I-DLE is as a group. 

4: IZ*One

Ever since their debut, I’ve adored Iz*One’s concept. It has so much class and style to it which made me fall in love with it so much. With their first two comebacks, I really loved the flower concept and how both title tracks correlated back to that. Even the most recent comeback still correlates back to that with the album being called Bloom*Iz. The concept creates for such stunning visuals in live performances and music videos. The songs also always make you feel so happy and gives you such a good feeling. It all just has such a fancy feel to it which also creates for the best stage outfits(Seriously props to their stylists I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bad outfit). They also all pull it off so well and all the girls suit the concept so well. Everything from the outfits, to the choreographs, to the vocals are all so elegant and I love that. 

3: Cherry Bullet 

I’m honestly not one bit surprised that Cherry Bullet has an amazing concept. Their sister group AOA had one of my favorite concepts in all of K-Pop. When they released a video game concept with Bingle Bangle, I fell in love. When Cherry Bullet released their debut also with a video game concept, that also caused me to fall in love. It’s just such an original concept and I think the 8-bit video games are truly the cutest thing ever. Although I initially already loved the girls with their first two releases, I fell even deeper in love when they released Hands Up. I adored the music video with all the tech design stuff and I think the new style of music suits them so well and shows how versatile their concept is. I really hope they keep on subtly using video games in future comebacks, because I just find it so clever and cute. 

2: Itzy

Itzy’s concept is so fun and experimental. Itzy songs always just make you wanna get up and dance and are all so catchy. I truly love the vibe and concept of “being different” and it’s such a good message to have. It all makes you feel so happy and empowered. It’s unlike any K-Pop group I’ve heard before, and the members all pull it off so well. I also love how every member has such a different style, yet still fits in perfectly with each other. I really look forward to seeing what they come up with next. 

AND.....

1: Loona

Oh my god, where do I even begin with this one. Loona is truly the most unique girl group, in existence. Already predebut, I loved the whole Girl of the Month thing they had. Then, Loonaverse got brought in, and it is the most genius plot line of the century. It’s all so well thought out and it’s amazing how it all correlates back to each other. Props to Blockberry for actually thinking all this up because it’s so crazy that every single Loona video, correlates to a later one just going off of little things. The Loonaverse is also such a genius way to invest fans in the group and is such a genius marketing strategy. Also, the versatility in Loona’s concept is insane. So far, all three of the main title tracks of OT12 all are so different from each other concept wise. I just really think Loona is an absolute genius group with so much to offer just by concept alone.

K-Pop unpopular opinions

So this is my first post on Tumblr. Cool. 

ME AND THE K-POP GENRE

First thing first, why I like K-pop.

K-pop is not my favorite genre in today’s scene, my favorite genres are Rock, Metal and Alternative. As y’all can see, I’m emo and a hard-die fan of MCR and in general, I love emo groups as P!ATD, Fall out Boy, etc. I also do like a lot of metal and alternative bands, as Rammstein, Metallica, Alice In Chains, Ghost (ik a lot of people don’t like them, but idc I f*ckin love them), Coldplay, Foals, Glass Animals, Alt-J and I can say a lot more, but I don’t think I need to. So as you can see, my favorites genres have nothing to do with K-pop, so let me tell you how I entered this world.

So all of this happened in the summer of 2018 when I just came from Dublin, you know, the moment school has ended and you go traveling with your friends and all that stuff. Still remember it as one of the best experiences in my life tho.

So there I was, again in my country, with nothing to do, bored af, listening to the same music again and again. And I was so tired of listening to the same songs again and again. 

I was listening to “No Drama” by Tinashe and Offset on Youtube when “Fake Love” by BTS appeared in my recommended. I was really bored and wanting to die, so I told myself, “why not”.

And yeah... I spent 4 hours listening to BTS music. It was amusing tho.

By the end of the summer, I was an Army, I knew a lot of K-pop groups, I was into that sh*t. I started with BTS, then Blackpink, Twice, NCT, Red Velvet, Exo... I started with the same as people my age and k-popers in 2019.

At first in k-pop, I was so amused that I liked everything I was seeing, but, you get more experienced and you start to like other things and to dislike some you did love at first.

Now that I’m a little more experienced, I can tell my favorite groups are 2NE1, 4minute, f(x), Big Bang, Dreamcatcher and well, BTS (even tho lately I had been having encountered ideas about them).

But still, I like being honest to myself and I have my opinions. I moved on to other genres like metal and grunge etc. and I left k-pop to the side tbh. Some of the groups that I did like at first now they’re not my sh*t, I find some things kinda annoying now and as consequence I dislike some songs that I used to love.

Now that the introduction is done, and I don’t have anything else to say, let’s start.

These are my opinions, and if you have others I still respect them bro, so respect mines. Let’s get it.

MY K-POP UNPOPULAR OPINIONS

1. Aegyo and cute concepts are cringey.

Dude, 20-year-olds acting like babies is just annoying. These kinda 12-years-old voices that some idols have to fake is just... For example, Rosé from Blackpink. Man, let her sing with her real voice. Being brutally honest, cute concept choreos are all the same, they just don’t tell me anything. The thing I hate the most is that for these concepts some idols are forced to wear clothes that ain’t their style... So annoying, dude. (Groups that follow these concepts and I just don’t like as much as I used to, are Twice and Loona)

2. I think that interviews in English are boring if only one member knows how to speak English. They are idols, they should know at least the basics to communicate. Having to watch and listen to just one idol trying their best to communicate while the others are just doing the m*therfucker ain’t that funny.

3. Dating bans are stupid, they are used as a way to keep fans following their idol. Because if a fan knows their idol is dating it makes them seem unavailable. To childish fans (or most k-popers) being able to dream of dating and marrying their idol it’s more appealing to bias someone and continue dreaming a non-existent future. Real fans don’t care about the dating life of an idol, so they should be able to do whatever the f*ck they want.

4. Sexy concepts and badass ones are the best, fight me.

From what I heard from Korea, the racism and how conservative and close-minded some koreans are, I think these concepts break a Lil’ the rules. Idols like CL, songs as Hate (4minute), Jessi, Hyuna, etc. break korean schemes and rules, and they make me reset my faith in humanity like, come on bro, we all can be open-minded, live and let other people live. 

Also, I think that these concepts have the best choreos, aggresive choreos are just so cool, and as well as they have the best instrumentals, noisy ones are just f*cking awesome, change my mind. The fact that they show 20-years-old as mature, strong people is just high-quality stuff. (Groups that blow my mind with this concepts are for example Ateez and Dreamcatcher)

5. Loona stans are so annoying with their “stan Loona”. B*tches, stop being so annoying. If we don’t want to stand your group we’re not gonna, stop that bullsh*t. Anyway, I’m not hating on Loona or her non-psycho fans.

6. Red Velvet lasts songs, Zimzalabim and Umpah Umpah are just messy. Their recent concepts are messy, they look uncomfortable in their clothes and the choreos ain’t that good neither. Hope their next comeback is better tho, they have the potential to do it.

7. Mamamoo are the real queens of k-pop, people should stop sleeping on them, they’re are amazing and their personalities are brilliant. On stage they are one of the best groups so far, their voices are just so stable and powerful. They have the potential to be as big as Blackpink or BTS, so y’all should stop sleeping on them, homies.

8. There are so many Twice songs that sound the same. Feel Special is not that much of a bop tho, and they have a lot of songs that are just simply a miss. Sorry, my dudes. I think a more mature concept would fit them so well, with a more powerful instrumental, with that, they would conquer the k-pop world.

9. Chung Ha’s songs ain’t that good. Snappin’ aesthetic is gorgeous, the concept is so attractive, but the song itself it’s boring. She’s pretty, she knows how to dance, her aesthetic is f*ckin’ awesome, but I feel like her songs need smth to spice them up. They need that smth that they don’t have to turn them to bops. (Also I hate Chica with all my life, that song just gets me on my nerves).

10. Y’all are gonna hate me with this one, but I think BAAM and BBoom BBoom ain’t the same. Like man, it’s true they sound alike, but to me, they have such different vibes. BBoom BBoom it’s amusing and cheerful, has this kinda vibes that make you wanna dance, and BAAM has this kinda nostalgic, melancholic vibe in the sound of the song that sets your heart on fire. That’s the way I find them, it’s my opinion.

11. I know y’all have been waiting for this moment. Let’s talk about BTS. Armys, say whatever the f*ck you want, but as a real one, I’m gonna spill the tea. Their music now is worse, too commercial and doesn’t transmit any feeling. Come on, let’s admit it dudes, is the reality.

Boy With Luv ain’t good. Halsey is a good singer with so much potential, Nightmare and Without Me are pretty good examples of this, and they did her so dirty. Also, the lyrics are just cringey. I don’t know about you, but Come be my teacher and your one, your two, don’t say anything to me. In general, I feel like Map Of The Soul: Persona ain’t that good of an album. They could’ve used the concept of Dionysus in all the album, I don’t know, something like greek gods flexin’ their money in all the album, and it could’ve be such a bomb. Make it Right, Home and Dionysus are the only remarkable songs of the album, the rest are just meh, I could listen to them 200 times and they won’t stick to me, they’re just basic and boring. They have changed, my dudes. I feel like they’re not who they were once anymore. It’s a fact that they slay on stage and their voices are stable (not all of their voices tho). Their concerts are bomb, the choreos are amazing and that’s something we cannot deny. (But the inflatable castle for Anpanman was a no for me). In conclusion, their music now is just commercial basic pop, they should try to mix their old sounds with smth new.

Well, my dudes, I have more opinions on k-pop but you know, I think this is long enough, in the future I will make a second part of this, but for now, this is all.

Okay with this idk how I would do it. I post three new hairs every month. Some of my old hairs I know have glitches and I would not want to include them. I am going to try to finish some revamps/updates of hairs and then see about a giant .zip file and maybe a merged package of all my hairs.
