For the most part though, this book is just a ton of pin-ups, split into two sections... first up is the "Avengers" which is funny cause this kinda has some spoilers in it; first is that Hank is coming back to the team as Giant-Man, but also that Deathcry is 100% gonna join up with the team... Also it Thor is very much not a part of the team right now cause he is out in space dealing with Warrior's madness.

Also, those Sersi and Black Widow pin-ups are awful...

Also, in the interest of full disclosure, I do have to note that if you are a Hank Pym fan in specific, and I know such people exist because to some extent I am one of them, you're gonna hate the original Marvel Zombies because a significant plot beat involves Robert Kirkman trying to come up with the most comically over-the-top exaggeration of the whole "Hank Pym is a wifeb(eater)" shitshow he could think of

I gotta say, I’m into the Ultimate Hank Pym. The new one, to be exact. The old one was…a fucking prick in more ways than one. Like holy shit.

But this new Hank Pym is interesting. He looks at the information about 616 Hank, realizes how much of a mess he is, and is afraid of ending up just like that. It’s a really engaging way to go about his character, as someone who WANTS to be good, but is afraid of someone else’s history repeating for him.

And I kind of dig that he’s a plus size superhero. You don’t see many of those and I think it fits a character whose powers are just…grow and shrink. No need to be a Hemsworth with that power set.
