taking lore into consideration, in my heart, he’s terrified of alcohol (even if he tries really hard to hide it). because. like. his first exposure is almost guaranteed to be through cassius, and cassius canonically threw a glass extremely close to him at least once when he was, like, 8. maybe cassius wasn’t always extra nasty when he was drunk, but there’s gotta be a correlation in keefe’s brain between risking getting seriously hurt (emotionally or physically) and alcohol consumption that’s really hard for him to shake.

For real though I think what they did with Sasuke's arc was one of the most baffling fucking things I've ever seen. "Actually. Your brother who carried out a genocide loved you :( he only put you in the Torment Nexus for several days because uhhh he wanted you to hate him and not find out about the government who ordered it. Everything he ever did was actually to protect you. And Uchihas are actually kinda rotten anyway so it's good an entire GROUP OF PEOPLE died. Don't think about any babies or children who were also slaughtered btw uhh nope all of them were bad."

Thank goodness that Evil Sasuke killed the three Bad Government Officials before that point, though. We had this whole theme going about toxic structures, cycles of abuse, and how oppressive regimes can propagate themselves even when a leader is well-meaning... but, like, Naruto REALLY wants to be Hokage, so actually if you just kill these Three Bad Governors it's gonna be fine.
There is no need for systemic change. Slave castes and child soldiers are fine. It's ok as long as the president is blonde :)

Both Jean and Marco lost their gear during Trost. They both got in a situation where a Titan was going to kill them while having nothing to protect themselves.
Marco was there to help Jean get hold of a gear and survive. Jean wasn't there for Marco aka why he died.

I truly can not put into words how much I love Ashley as Fearne. Like the pure joy she has playing her would be wonderful enough, especially since this is the first time she has truly gotten to just let rip with her character without having to worry about scheduling, but this woman just embodies a fey creature!! The chaos!! The mischief!! Ashley’s physicality is incredible, the minute they entered the fey realm it was so clear that Fearne was home, she is confident and comfortable and a little bit more scary then before. It has never been more clear that Fearne is not a mortal and I love that. This entire description of the fey realm, the manor and morí have me delighted and I can’t wait for more!!

Hey y'all. Minor update
So I went to my new gi doc and she is really nice and sweet. I told her everything and turns out the gerd pills I have rn are the strongest they have and it's the stuff they give full grown adults with stomach ulcers??? I told her it doesn't work at all anymore (and neither does my nausea pill) and she said that that's pretty concerning. Along with the fact that (she said) gerd is most common in overweight, older adults and i'm an underweight 18 year old girl. so.
But I haven't eaten a proper meal since Thanksgiving and I've been basically surviving on granola bars (and OTC antacids which don't do shit lmao) bc for some reason it's the only thing I can keep down almost entirely. I usually eat about two a day and that's pretty much it bc my stomach doesn't seem to able to take more than that. If I try to eat anything more or anything different I'll get to the brink of vomiting for hours, if not the entire day. Like one bite can trigger it.
So my doc was like "well that's not fuckin good! that's concerning as hell!" so I have a scheduled upper endoscopy on Thursday morning and y'all have absolutely NO clue how fucking ecstatic i am for it. Like it's goddamn christmas day. Istg Thursday is the day that's keeping me going rn

so is all of Sam’s control over Dream in the prison arc spin off verbal? Cause I doubt Techno would let Sam get physical (love everything you two are doing btw)
Mmhm!
Because of the state of the break-in, Techno actually has all of his gear - netherite armor, weapons, gapples, etc. He's not someone that Sam can beat in a fight (or most of the server, for that matter) and everyone in the room knows it. One of the first things Techno does is actually ask Dream whether or not he should kill Sam - they decide that it's not a good idea, on account of Sam probably spawning into the prison w/ good gear, but the implicit physical threat to Sam's person (and the stripping Sam of any significant physical power) is very much there.
JMAH!Sam is feeling pretty out of control at this point - most of what he likes to present as far as his Image as the Warden goes is like, him being calm and collected and purposeful in what he does. He doesn't rely on hands-on physical punishment quite in the same way Quackity did - even when he's really pissed, usually he just jabs a button and walks away. There are only a few times when Dream pushes far enough for Sam to react physically in that way, and both of them avoid such incidents in general for...obvious reasons.
This isn't to say that he isn't tempted to really hurt Dream, just to make sure he knows he means it, but he's also not really keen on being on the business end of Techno's sword (he already knows that Techno wants to run him through with it - when they talk while Dream is sleeping, it's not like Techno is particularly shy about his disdain). So he keeps it a lot to mean remarks - c!Sam, honestly, beyond all of the war crimes can also just be a massive asshole. The more out of control he is, the more likely he is to start just. Being a jerk to reassert some level of authority, and he does quite a lot of this.
After everything that's happened between Dream and Sam in this AU, his little quips have the added bonus of really affecting Dream in ways that Techno usually doesn't catch until they've already happened. One of the first things Techno does, catching onto how Dream has clearly been starved, is give him a golden apple. Sam immediately demands it, and Dream - unthinkingly - hands it over. Techno obviously gives him another one, upon which Sam crabbily makes a comment along the lines of how he's not allowed to have that. Dream, for his part, isn't really hungry at all - just the idea of eating at all is making him a little nauseous - so he makes assorted, quiet protests - don't argue with Sam, it's fine, he's not really hungry anyway.
At this point, Sam - recognizing that Techno is getting progressively annoyed at him and also increasingly irritated by his and Dream's - camaraderie, takes a look at Dream and smiles slightly behind the mask. Fine, Dream, then eat. See if Sam cares.
Naturally, Dream does.
(Naturally, just as Sam knew he would, he throws up.)

Mission gone awry, Ravanna coming to find her, discovering that her Uncle had put a block in her mind, all of it blends together in a horrifying and dizzy collidascope of experiences that have left Katyae feeling RAW. So she escapes from curious eyes into an observation room that nearly nobody frequents, gazing out into the star studded expanse of the universe above.
When she feels his approach, her empathic field immediately shrinks away from him -- for his comfort or her own, she's not sure. His presence RATTLES her for some reason. Katyae offers him a small fleeting glance and nods her chin once in acknowledgement before her eyes fixate again on the window.
