Roman sat next to Ashe in the casual circle of friends. Over the last few weeks, he’d started hanging out with Ashe and his friends regularly. As much as Roman enjoyed Lucy and Zane’s company, sometimes he felt like he needed to get away from the reminder of things that used to be. 

He didn’t have that issue with this group of people, and they’d all been welcoming of him in the first place. When Ashe had just about dragged him through the party and forced him to make friends, not one of them had cringed when they heard his name. To be fair, they were all fairly drunk by then though. 

So when Ashe had invited him over for their ‘weekly game night’, he’d said yes without having to think. 

Game night was a questionable thing to call whatever this was. They’d played monopoly the first time he’d come over, but it had quickly devolved into Jun and Ashe fighting over whether or not Ashe was cheating, and Maura and Adrian had snickered in the corner while the other two had wrestled for 20 minutes to decide.

so bc i am a Gross Dude my friends i and sometimes rate our burps and my coworker (who is a teen girl) burped in front of me once and i instinctively rated it

so now every time she burps she looks to me hopefully for a rating and bc she has delicate little baby burps i now have to create an entirely new Burp Rating System unique to her bc i rate anything below a 5 and she looks at me like this
