i've been there (and still am sometimes) so i'm saying this out of love, but i feel like once you've reached your late 20s, you HAVE to come to the realization that you have to actively strive to make yourself happy / your life livable! i know it's extremely difficult to deal with the disillusion + depression + isolation combination that befalls a lot of people in their 20s, but you have to actively fight to maintain and expand your comfort zone so you don't sinkeven deeper, because all those corny quotes are right, no one's gonna come and save you, not your mommy not your partner not your baby not your blorbo, this is an internal process that you have to go through, because if you don't you will rot in your comfort zone and rn life rlly rlly rlly doesn't have enough to offer tomost of us that we should or could be okay with that kind of mundane life

#like i am fundamentally unhappy rn and grieving so many things but i try not to let that dictate my day to day IM FIGHTING DEMONS EVERYDAY!!#you have to cling to your humour and small interactions and not reject people's attempts to be nice to you life is literally not bearable #when you don't allow yourself to be silly #don't take life too seriously there are no rewards for doing everthing the right way and correct the first try #empahsis on trying you have to keep going cuz you will rot in your comfort zone #but yeah ... be kind to yourself and let yourself have fun despite everything #what else is left #and no matter how much someone loves you #it is not easy to be with amiserable person #and im obviously not talking aobut factors out of your control #but you have to change the things you can change #im still deep in my comfort zone but this post is about realization being the first step #like how arewe almost 30 and we're just whining like if this goes on we might as well just kill ourselves #like life can't just be obstacle after obstacle

I feel like people hcing tmagp gerry as being pastel goth have completely missed the point. the point is that you don't have to dress colourfully to be happy. dressing in black ≠ depressed. and he was never goth !!!!!!! I'm sorry I keep saying it but it's true. he was never goth he's a metalhead and he still dresses the exact same.

OKAY YES this is absolutely asinine and I know it, but also it made me literally whoop out loud and scare my dog so here you go!

The fucking Toden, baby! Why yes, I AM an adorable tram(p) that roams suburban Arakawa, hurtling back and forth between Rocco's Pizza in Oji and my beloved dinky shitamachi neighborhood at mindbending speeds in excess of 13 km/h! I miss those days! I miss the incessant dinging noise. I miss the elderly passengers and their tiny overstimulated grandchildren and all the advertisements for enka singers and medical clinics. Constantly getting passed by mamacharis and loving every minute.

hey all I need. a better recording set up. I've been using Audacity and I'm starting to think I need to pony up and get me an actual recording program so if anyone has any suggestions I'm open (I tend to record on my pc laptop, because my poor old mac is overheating and is just about hanging in there for my drawing work alone)

I also don't have anywhere soundproof in this house to record (and I don't think I can make one...), have tried the blanket over the head technique before and will again but if anyone has any better work arounds I'm struggling here fr
