Femboy yan that crossdresses to invade fem!reader personal spaces.
Locker rooms, public bathrooms, sleepovers. They’ll join you in changing rooms and insist on sharing a bed (in the skimpiest pajamas only bc he can’t risk sleeping naked).
And GOD FORBID you guys ever go clubbing or anything of the sort bc they’ll transform into the “drunk” that’ll do all sorts of things with to their BESTIE!
[Wait- I heard you, but big brain idea - Darling is also a Femboy, but they allow people to call them a girl because it feels easier for them to dress the way they like. This could be read as Fem Reader or a Femboy Reader who presents as such on the surface.]
Femboy Yan who invites himself into your home and bedroom because "We're both girls! It's alright if we sleep and cuddle together, I won't tell anyone if you won't~"
Femboy Yan who shoves his tongue down your throat when wasted for a similar excuse. Friends kiss friends all the time.
Femboy Yan who quite literally bolts into the dressing room when you complain about not being able to get that last button or zip up your dress all the way. If he gets strange looks from staff, he has another excuse prepared. "I'm her bestie, it's fine - we do this all the time. Your girlfriends never helped you in or out of a dress before?"
Femboy Yan who jumps to calling himself your girlfriend and becoming ten times clingier when some guy so much as glances at you. "Sorry! My girlfriend's note interested in giving you her number. We were just about to go make out in that broom closet over there before you interrupted us. If you're smart you'll be gone before we get back.*
Femboy Yan who asks if you'd dated if he was a boy. He's totally not, but like - would you? If he stays single, then you will to, won't you? You wouldn't want to make your bestie sad by sharing those lips with someone else, right? He claimed those pretty lips the second he smeared them with his favorite lipstick. If you do find someone else he'll just have to take them from you. Most guys are trash and would probably dump you if he bated those long lashes of his at them. Makes for less tears from you when their ugly mugs appear on the news as missing persons cases
Maybe you can laugh over their misfortune together during one of those sleepovers your bestie adores so much

Hi I just thought of this but could you maybe do Bridgette x fem reader? Reader is like how Evie was in d2 and making everyone’s dresses for castlecoming? She’s making Bridgette’s dress and Bridgette was originally supposed to go with Ella but since Ella is grounded she has no one to go with. Reader has a crush on her and asks her to go instead
🎀Young!Bridget Hearts x Reader🎀
Tumblr media
Reader pronouns: She/her
Pairing: Young!Bridget Hearts x Fem!reader
Plot: Reader is making everyone's dresses for Castlecoming but isn't going herself. Afterall, the only girl she wants to go with is going with someone else. That is, until her date cancels on her last minute.
Word Count: 1.4k
Extra: I'm sorry this one feels very flat and definitely not my best writing, regardless thank you so much for your support. I get so happy to see you guys like my writing🫶🥹
Tumblr media
Castlecoming comes only once a year but it was nothing you were too fond of. Well, except for the fact it was the time of year you made the most money.
Towards the end of Freshman year you started making dresses, suits, jackets, anything you could think of really to sell. It's been a hobby of yours for your entire life, making dresses out of curtains and safety pins, and one day you got really good at it.
It was actually your friend Bridget who suggested you should start making money off of it.
So then, on every school dance, event, or occasion that a specific person had, you were commissioned to make their dress or suit. You loved what you did and you were proud of it. But now, making all these dresses for Castlecoming made you feel a little... Sad.
Sad that no one had asked you, sad that the only girl you wanted to go with was going with someone else, and sad you'd be missing out on the biggest event of the year. Again.
You tried to put all of the aside and just focus on the dress you're making, but it was hard considering it was being worn by the girl you wished you could go with so deeply.
"Does the bodice fit you okay? Is it too tight?" You asked, adjusting the bodice from behind the pink girl to fit her.
"Oh, it's perfect." She replied, trying her best to hold still while you worked.
You didn't say anything at first, but Bridget seemed a little down. The past couple days you saw her she was practically bursting with excitment. Her best friend, Ella, had asked her to the dance and she was so excited to go. Honestly, when she told you, you wanted to be happy for her but you couldn't help but feel a little jealous.
But now you couldn't help but notice Bridget didn't seem very excited and was pretty quiet compared to her usually self.
"So, uhm, is something wrong?" You finally ask after a long silence while you still work on the little details and fixing the measurements of her dress.
Bridget shifted slightly at the question, "Yeah everything's fine." She laughed half heartedly, "It's just... Ella got grounded the other day. So we won't be able to go to Castlecoming together."
You were honestly a little surprised to hear that. What was Ella grounded for? Was Bridget still going to Castlecoming? "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that..." You say quietly, "Are you going with someone else?"
Though you couldn't see Bridget's face, you could tell she had that sad smile she does occasionally. The sad smile that could crush your heart into a million pieces, "No. But, I figured I should go anyway. I did already pay for the dress, right?" She laughed awkwardly.
For another moment you stayed silent.
You knew Ella and Bridget were only going to the dance together as friends, so maybe you did have a chance with Bridget. But she seemed so sad, it felt like maybe it wasn't the right time to ask her. You would feel like an awful person if you tried using her misfortune for your own sake. "So there's... No one else you'd want to go with?"
Bridget sighed, "Well you and Ella are my only friends... And you already said you weren't going. So not really..."
"Uhm. I said that?" You laughed nervously, knowing full well you did in fact tell her you weren't going.
She looked over her bare shoulder to look at you in the face, "Yeah. You said dances weren't your style and that you wanted to focus on making everyone's outfits."
You glance away from her before clearing your throat, "That does sound like something I probably said..." You trailed off, "But ... Maybe I changed my mind." You say bashfully, only glancing in Bridget's direction.
Her face suddenly lit up and she spun around so her whole body was facing you, "Oh my gosh! You're going? Did someone ask you out? Who was it?" Her whole attitude suddenly changed, basically bursting at the seams with happiness for you.
You felt your face heat up a little embarrassment, "No—! No! No one asked me... I just thought uhm, maybe it would be fun."
Bridget smiled brightly and took your hand that wasn't currently holding a needle and thread, "We should totally go together then! If you have no one to go with, and I have no one to go with, it works perfectly." She giggles, spinning herself under your arm, careful to not mess up her dress.
You felt your face heat up at the declaration and her sudden action, "Oh, uhm,"
"And we can take tons of pictures with my new camera, it'll be so fun! I heard it's just as fun to go with friends than with a date." She continued with her glowing smile.
That smile made your heart beat faster. You slowly let go of her hand, "About that, Bridget..." You start, unsure of what the right words were.
Her expression suddenly turned to concern. "Oh! Do you not want to? I'm sorry, it's okay if you don't want to go together." She reassured, though she definitely looked disappointed.
"No no! It's not that! I do want to go with you, I really do," you say, your heart beating a little faster at the thought of what you wanted to say.
You never felt so nervous before. Asking one of your best friends to a dance in a not-so-friendly way was a little terrifying. You didn't want to ruin the wonderful friendship you had with her in case things turned wrong.
"Then what is it..?" She asked, her tone was so soft. She was always so soft and sweet. She felt like a bouquet of pink flowers with pedals that feel like silk.
You take a deep breath and look her in the eye, "I was just hoping maybe... We could go as... More than friends...?" You finally asked, feeling like you were about to collapse from the anxiety of it.
Bridget's eyes suddenly widened in surprise, "Wait, wait... Really?"
You averted your eyes away, still incredibly embarrassed and just nodded your head without a word.
Bridget suddenly squealed in excitement, and threw her arms around you, "I would love to!"
The hug caught you off guard but you smiled and hugged her back. She hugged you tighter, making it hard for you to breathe and also worry that she would tear her unfinished dress, "Bridget! The dress!" You warn.
She let go of you, "Sorry sorry, I guess I just got excited," she giggled before grabbing your hand again with both of hers, "I'm so happy you asked me."
You smiled and looked at her with such admiration in your eyes, "Well... Let's get this dress done before we run of our of time." You chuckle, smoothing out her dress that got wrinkled from the intense hug.
Bridget laughed, "Yeah. That's probably a good idea. Thank you." She said, leaning forward and kissing you on the cheek, making your face burn again.
"You're the one paying me for the dress..." You laugh softly.
"That's not what I meant." Bridget fidgeted with your hand that was intertwined with yours, "Thank you for asking me. You really are wonderful. If I were to go with anyone to the dance as more than friends, I'm glad it's you."
All of this talk was making you flustered to the break of explosion. Bridget really was the sweetest girl in the world. It was hard to believe she even remotely felt the same way about you, "I guess it's just easy for me to recognize how amazing someone can be." You smile widely.
Bridget giggled yet again, "Maybe after Castlecoming, if you don't decide that you regret asking me, we could maybe be more than friends? Like, girlfriends?" She asked with a bashful smile, her own face turning slightly pink.
You nodded quickly, "I'd really love that." You could never regret this decision. Bridget was so amazing and perfect in every way, how could you ever not want to be her girlfriend?
You couldn't wait to dance with her. You couldn't wait to see her in the finished dress with her hair done and looking beautiful as ever. You couldn't wait to spin her around and watch the sparkly pink hearts on her dress glimmer in the lights. You couldn't wait to hold her after the dance and just giggle to each other all night long.

'Forgotten' Part two - Kaz Brekker x Reader
Tumblr media
Prompt: Kaz slowly begins to remember your relationship, but what good is that if he has already tossed you aside? Can the Bastard of the Barrel save the one thing he truly loves?
You can find the first part of 'Forgotten' here!
- Pairing: Kaz Brekker x Reader (established relationship) - Warnings: A lot of angst, nothing too graphic, lots of emotion coming from Kaz + his crows, so much sadness, dont worry too much though ... :)
A/N: The amount of requests for this have been insane, once again i truly love each one of you, my heart is so full. I hope this is a good ending for the first part, im very happy with how it turned out!! P.S I am so sorry for the pain i seemed to have caused with the first post T-T ════ ∘◦ᵒ 𓅓 ᵒ◦∘ ════
Glimpses of you tormented Kaz, plaguing his every thought. His mind seemingly fixated on the one person he had deserted out of pure spite.
It had been two weeks since you were outcast, and Kaz had prayed to the Saints that it would relieve him of the weight gripping his heart, ever since his memory was ripped away from him. Yet they seemed to laugh in his face, spitting back a far more excruciating punishment for his actions.
Returning his memories.
The second you had left his office, tears spilling as they swirled in your shining eyes, Kaz had felt something deep stirring within him, something resembling dread. Since then, he had begged any higher being for relief as realisation began to flood his senses, engulfing his every thought and action.
Wounds scattered his already battered heart, with the rest of the crows seeming to crush it further each day. Ever since you had slipped carefully crafted letters under each of your friend’s doors, you had melted into the shadows of Ketterdam, not a single trace of your presence left behind.
You knew Kaz ultimately wasn’t to blame, yet the scars he had painted onto your soul were excruciating, physically pushing you away from him to escape further agony. You too, prayed to the Saints that your boyfriend, or perhaps ex-boyfriend, would regain what he had lost, and remember you as his lover.
Wind swept through your hair, salt spraying your glowing features as you sailed towards Ravka, choosing to allow the breeze to blow your pain along the wind, and back to Ketterdam. Pushing Kaz to the furthest corner of your mind, you stepped off the ladder onto Ravkan soil, determined to reap the benefits of your misfortune rather than wallow in them.
Taking the outstretched hand of a grinning sailor, you allowed the warmth of his smile and the welcoming of the group around you to bathe you in some sort of content.
════ ∘◦ᵒ 𓅓 ᵒ◦∘ ════
It seemed as if your prayers had worked, as each day wracked Kaz with a new memory or emotion, each one undeniably interlinked with you. His feelings overtook him, spewing out in rageful fits or harsh punishments for anyone daring to cross him, deepening the rift forming between the boss and his crows.
The moment each crow had read your letter, it instantly clicked into place what had happened, despite your deliberate attempts to remain vague about the exchange which had stolen you from them.
Sitting in Jesper’s room, the crew remained sullen, intense emotions clouding the air, becoming unbearable. The suffocating atmosphere was fractured when Nina suddenly burst out, “I am going to kill him. I warned him to be gentle, yet he pushed my attempts aside, and now...this. The hit could have been hard enough to at least remove some of his stubbornness.”
Nina huffed, rage coursing through her blood at Kaz’s actions, had she not been clear enough? “He can’t just send her away, can he? I mean, I didn’t think he would have it in him to do that, even before those two got together,” Jesper seethed, confusion lacing his voice but an unmistakable anger matching Nina’s.
Wylan remained silent, picking at the rotting wood of the floorboards, too overwhelmed at the loss of you to comprehend his emotions. Inej similarly remained quiet, eyes fluttering shut as she soundlessly prayed to each Saint that you would return, and Kaz would finally see sense.
Despite the varied reactions to their boss’s stupidity, a common thread held them closely together, pain. To each one of them you meant the world, a prevailing light penetrating through the dreary Barrel life which often consumed its inhabitants.
You lit up the darkness of the ruthless city, aiding Jesper in amusing pranks often against Kaz, in which you would take the blame for, knowing deep down Kaz could never hold it against you.
You consoled Wylan when whisps of his past would haunt him, taking him on walks along the canal or making his favourite tea and taking in the views of Ketterdam from the rooftop. The warmth of the suns beams and your words washing away his nerves.
For the usually reserved wraith, you encouraged her confidence, easing her fear of touch in a similar way in which you helped Kaz. Around very few other people Inej could say she felt the same comfort and unconditional love that radiated from your mere presence. Nina could positively agree with how Inej felt, intensely missing her gossip companion and partner in crime. You knew every detail about her, and the rest of the crows, in a way nobody else could ever counter.
On the third week of your absence, the crows had seen very little of their leader, the few signs of his presence being the scraping of a chair in his office, or the beat of a cane on the panels of the Slat, indicating he was finally eating before walling himself up in his desolate isolation again.
Paperwork scattered Kaz’s desk, yet it remained as untouched as it was when he had exiled you. His days were spent calculating finances, unable to bring himself to plan a heist without you, with a distinct and vital element of his crew missing.
A sudden echo of weighted footsteps sounded outside of his door, their ascent bringing a chorus of hushed voices as the crows burst into his office. It had been days since they had last encountered their boss, his previous sighting confining him almost indefinitely to his room. It was in the early hours of the morning a few nights ago that he had finally emerged to gather some papers from the common room, when his attention snapped up to a sight that he was utterly unprepared to face.
Before him, by a fireplace laden with dim embers, sat Inej, Wylan, and Jesper, all three bearing cascading silver lines down their faces. Wylan’s breathing was ragged as he sobbed into Jespers chest, the sight of which triggering the other two. Realisation slammed into Kaz, knocking the breath out of his lungs, startling him with the intensity of emotion that welled up within him.
Not only had he destroyed the one true tenderness in his life, but he had also destroyed his closest friends too.
By this point, he had figured that he had long been captivated with you, and the most recent flashes of memory brought his relationship barreling down on him. Although patches were hazy, he had decoded exactly what he felt.
He was in love with you.
════ ∘◦ᵒ 𓅓 ᵒ◦∘ ════
Before any of the group that had stumbled in could voice their opinions, the sight of their boss stunned them into silence.
Kaz remained hunched over his desk as always, but the ghostly paleness to his skin, the hollowed cheeks that protruded at sharp angles, and the grave circles etched underneath his reddened eyes deeply unsettled his crows. Nothing, not even Pekka Rollin’s greatest attempts to wound him, had ever resulted in Kaz Brekker’s complete and utter destruction.
Until now.
Inej quietly cleared her throat before courageously stating, “Kaz, we are going to find her. Not only are the Dregs seriously disadvantaged, but we also need her. Not just for jobs, even though you may not remember…” until she was cut of by a sharp voice.
Kaz’s head whipped up, glaring with a deathly warning at the people who stood before him. “I do remember,” he lashed out, voice deep and gravelly at the lack of use, “I remember everything now. You think I would have done that if I had known?”
His words echoed around the dim room, but it was something about Kaz’s face which caused the crows to collectively draw in their breath. A tear had freed itself from the confinement of his heart, snaking it was way down his ashen cheek, revealing to the group the torment he was being subject to by his own actions.
With a shaky hand, he procured a crumpled piece of paper from his waistcoat, holding it out to the group in a similar way in which he had done to you, the emotion in his chest pressing tightly against his lungs.
Jesper stepped forward cautiously, snatching it from his hands and unfolding the corners. The group peered over his shoulder to discover a meticulously thought-out plan to retrieve you from Ravka. Kaz glanced at the group, for the first time allowing them a glimpse of his true feelings, begging them silently to aid in his mission.
With a swift look to the others, they wordlessly agreed to Kaz’s plan, Jesper handing back the paper to his boss and giving a tight nod to Kaz, “Lets go then,” he declared.
════ ∘◦ᵒ 𓅓 ᵒ◦∘ ════
Through a thorough process of force, Nina had coaxed the reality of your conversation out of Kaz, pulling up rage from the group. However, they excellently withheld it, knowing you would never blame Kaz for his actions whilst his memories fogged over, despite the pain they had caused.
The air around them cleared as the ship sailed away from the port in Ketterdam, the grey of the ocean blending into cerulean as the voyage to Ravka proceeded. If Kaz’s calculations remained accurate, you would be collecting information within the small harbor you had first landed in, leaving little ground for the group to cover in search of you.
Once they reached land, they split off into six desperate individuals, Jesper searching the market, Inej scouring the rooftops, Wylan inquiring with locals, and Nina investigating the shops that littered the town square. Kaz stationed himself inside a cramped booth at the busiest of the sparse bars that lined the town, his informants assuring him it was the most popular with Ketterdam’s visitors.
For the first time in years, Kaz felt sick with nerves. He remembered how anxious he had felt when he summoned the courage to admit his feelings, but the sheer force of his panic now tied him down and drowned him.
Tears poured frequently from his eyes during the weeks of your absence, the dread of not knowing how you were constantly squeezing at his heart. The knowledge that if something happened to you it would be his fault ate at him until he was a mere shell of the man you had loved.
A voice pulled him out of his daze, like a siren inviting a sailor to dance in the depths of the ocean, Kaz was defenseless against you. As he turned his head towards the sound, you also glanced over at the dark figure in the corner, heart ceasing its movements in your chest the second your gazes locked.
It truly was him.
Frozen by the sight of you, Kaz couldn’t comprehend his own actions, remaining frigid in his seat as he stared at you, eyes once again being subject to the sting of tears.
‘Pathetic’ he thought to himself.
You gave a kind smile to the men you were conversing with previously, quietly slipping into the opposite seat from Kaz. You parted your lips to begin small conversation, not wanting the tension to grow too intense, but your words crumbled as he shot out, “I need you.”
Confusion flooded you, yet the desperation flooding his eyes signaled that he wasn’t done, the words were just slowly configuring inside. You knew him well enough to give an encouraging nod, letting him calculate his next words.
“I need you to come back. I remember it all, and” he stopped himself, breathing shallowly as his lungs refused to intake enough air, “I’m sorry,” he whispered. Tears leaked from his sunken eyes, his fragile appearance wracking you with emotion, the temptation to reach out to him becoming unbearable. Nobody but you had ever seen the Bastard of the Barrel break, yet he sat before you now, heart on full display for only you to see.
Yet you remained strong, answering his pleads by stating, “And how will that go? I know you lost your memory, but will you just push me away again if your feelings overwhelm you?” Before he could respond, you breathed out, “Kindness often isn’t free in this world Kaz, but when it comes to you, I would never expect anything in return. However, if you truly want me back, I need you to prove to me that it's really,” you paused,
“You.”
Instantaneously, Kaz reached for your hand, gloved fingers grasping desperately at your own, interweaving and caressing them in an iron grip. “I swear,” he started, “I will never let anyone harm you again in the way I have, my love,” a flood of emotion seeping into his words and gaze. “Including myself. I’m sorry,” he said, guiding your interweaved hands to his lips, the trembling a mere afterthought as he kissed your knuckles.
Smiling sadly at him, you tucked a strand of his hair behind his ear, hearing a shaky sigh leave his lips at your touch, mere weeks leaving him in desperation for you.
“The others are here I suppose?” you questioned, earning a short nod from Kaz and a diversion of his gaze. Unwinding your hand from his, you stood up, glancing down at the sorrowful man, and offering a soft smile, “Lets go find them then,” heart fluttering as Kaz’s hand gripped your wrist, unable to go without your touch a moment longer.
Weaving your hand through his once more, your gaze softened as the tension carved into your boyfriends sullen face released, as the pair of you made your way out of the establishment, connected by the hands that gripped the other and the love that radiated between the pair. Once you had received at least a hundred embraces and kisses from the other crows, you embarked on the journey back to dreary city of Ketterdam.
Not once on the voyage did Kaz leave your side, exchanging soft touches in each moment, and gently whispering against your temple a breathy, “I love you,” as the sublime colours of the sunset bled into the ocean, coating the two in a golden haze.
Relief settled between you, having the other fully within their reach again.
As Kaz’s attention diverted back to the wide expanse of water before him, you pour all of your emotions into your next words.
“I love you too, Kaz Brekker.”

Tumblr media
He didn’t show. Though you were somehow expecting him not to, it still felt like a gut-punch to the stomach, the embarrassment and the way it surged through your body and cheeks, was an agonizing reminder that he wasn’t actually yours.
Evening was nearly upon the city street as you were perched on a bench. You scrunched the pretty red fabric beneath you, holding your equally as pretty bag close, both of which contrasted to the displeased frown on your face. You’ve always been fond of Valentine's day, hence the reason why your expectations were held higher today, but with every passing loving couple that walked by came a wave of disappointment and several wake-up calls.
You had messaged Yoon Jeonghan hesitantly yesterday, he wasn’t exactly the type to hold conversations with you on text. Some days, responses would be scarce and other days, they would come immediately. Yesterday had been one of those days in particular:
You: are you busy tomorrow?
Yoon: i think i’m free, angel
Yoon: mmm it’s valentine’s, do you want to meet up?
You: if you want to
Yoon: of course i do. do you?
You: i do
Yoon: meet you at 6
It was 6:23. Perhaps it was stupid to assume that you both would meet up for anything other than the usual– sex with zero romantic ties, no intent of love with little room for consideration of anything beyond a companionship. There was something different in the air though, whether that be Jeonghan’s open softness towards you or the Valentine's day spirit. Either way you knew if you kept letting the lingering hue of crimson remain on your cheeks, or flush throughout every part of you when he was around, you weren’t going to last.
You met him your sophomore year of college. Not one to be easily convinced, your friend Soonyoung had been adamant in taking you to one of those awful frat parties that reeked with hooch and rancid booze. Out of complete boredom and honestly annoyance, you had agreed to his suggestion, and to your shock it had been the exact opposite experience.
The party was small. Not much room to do a fucking keg-stand, but enough to know that the sole intention of it was getting laid. The drinks in general didn’t seem as cheap as you had initially expected when walking in. The event Soonyoung had taken you to was obviously of higher class and it worried you that he forgot to leave that bit out for you– because now you felt extremely small and underdressed compared to everyone else.
Half of the night you couldn’t recall, not only was it far from the expected loud and sweaty stereotype that frat parties held for themselves, but it was just boring.
Boring until you realized on your way out you bumped into a near stranger, colliding into them. An amazing misfortune for you, since the wine glass he had appeared to be holding in his hand was shattered onto the floor after the fluids splashed directly onto your torso. Any shriek you could have let out was immediately muffled by the feeling of a palm covering your mouth.
“Fuck, I am so sorry about that,” he mumbled with a groan, clearly trying to evade the attention away from you both, and thanks to the apparent conceitedness the guests at this party had, heads turned away from you both after a few moments. His hand dropped to his side, he seethed at the mess he made. You’re not even given a chance to look at whoever this man was as he was dragging you elsewhere, “would hate for you to step on that glass.”
You couldn’t lie to yourself and say you didn’t know who this man was just by looking at the back of his blonde head. He was all the talk around campus, infamous Yoon Jeonghan and his habit of flirting with everyone and practically their mothers. Hell, the way he took your hand in his told you exactly what you needed to know about him: you had to tread lightly. (Not lightly enough, you noted, the wine on your shirt was still very much there).
And with that you were immediately taken into the bathroom, Jeonghan disregarded the line that was outside the door and went inside when it was vacant, shutting the door behind you. Sighing and observing your stained shirt, he tsked in disapproval, “you’ve got wine all over you, sweetheart.”
Your eyes narrowed, “your wine.”
He hummed and shrugged, “if that makes you feel better.”
Sighing exasperatedly, you watched him grab a washcloth in his cupboards, “it’s fine. Don’t bother. I can go home and wash up.”
While you were wondering what on earth was so amusing to this guy, he hummed again, turning to face you, “but while we’re here at my house, can’t we get the job done quicker?”
“I’m just saying you don’t have to. It’s fine, I’ll be fine.”
“You know I would hate for such a pretty girl to show up at my party just to leave after I made a complete mess all over her,” he stepped forward, inching closer to you, “and although the red looks perfect on you, you don’t seem very pleased with it– or me, for that matter.”
That was the flirtatious manner everyone had been buzzing about. If you didn’t know any better you may have thought there was a bolder, ulterior motive within his words. You didn’t let yourself believe him.
When Jeonghan earned a glare from you, he chuckled in surprise, “you don’t believe me.”
With a shake of your head, he flashed you a satirical grin at your answer: “I don’t think I should.”
Jeonghan takes the now dampened washcloth in his hand, taking a moment to drink you in before he figures he should wipe off the drying mahogany that stuck onto your skin. It did make you look good, “will you please let me at least do this? If I don’t, it’ll remain in my guilty conscience forever.”
You sighed and gave him permission, you hadn’t really given yourself an option because how were you supposed to go home without Soonyoung, anyway? He smiled and reached out to cup your cheek, the other hand wiping your neck with the washcloth for some reason, agonizingly slow.
“I wasn’t lying by the way,” he mumbled, “I’ve had eyes on you the entire night, you’re one of Soonyoung’s friends, right?”
You ignored his initial comments, “yeah.”
“Should scold him for hiding you from me later.”
“Hiding me?” You asked, confused.
“I’ve never seen you around. Soonyoung surely would've mentioned having such a gem of a friend. Are you two dating?”
You shook your head, “I tend to avoid you.”
He clicked his tongue in disdain, “you know me?”
When you nodded, he clicked his tongue again, “I assure you that you don’t. Whatever you’ve heard about me doesn't equate to familiarity, angel. But you could know me. You should.”
You don't respond, trying to turn your attention away from the feeling of the warm washcloth dragging across your skin, “what’s your name so I can call you by it, pretty?”
“Y/n,” it didn’t matter whether or not you told him, something about him said that he’d find out either way.
“Well, Y/n. If you’d like I can wash your clothes for you and give you some of mine to wear, then you’ll be on your way home. I’m sorry about this, again.”
You were beginning to deep yourself in a hole, what was the harm of indulging in it? This man had come into contact with your skin faster than anyone has and maybe he was just captivating and sweet, but you were yet to learn about him. The way he happened to be the most gorgeous man you’ve laid your eyes upon was also a harmful position you would eventually put yourself into.
And even though Jeonghan knew he was just being kind, a part of him also knew that he wasn't one to usually do this, and the tipsy state he was put in had drawn him into you. Though you had just been standing for the majority of the party, he thought you were captivating, so beautiful and something new he just needed. He hadn't meant to fuck up his plans by somehow spilling wine all over you, but he liked to think that tonight was going to work in his favor.
“Okay,” you accepted his offer. Jeonghan could feel his lips pull into a smile and his heart rate intensify as he took you out of his bathroom, into his room.
Pulling out a random t-shirt for you to wear, he tossed it to you, “change into this and I’ll wash your outfit. You’re free to wait in here for now.”
And so you did.
That was the first ever time you spent in Jeonghan’s ever-familiar room, and somehow you both knew it wouldn't be the last. It didn't take long for him to take further interest in you. Red-flushed skin to skin contact that turned into something more, Jeonghan had found you to be all kinds of things: alluring, gorgeous, perfect, and sometimes he could argue that you were made for him. The way he kissed down your exposed back in such adoration and the way he coaxed you into giving into him every single time. It was enthralling and somehow he couldn't get enough of you.
Though, you could retort that it wasn't the case that way with Jeonghan. Sure he had put care into you after completely taking your ability to walk, but it was nothing short of superficial to you. You knew after each time he took you, he would go back to pretending you didn't exist, and it was a cycle you hadn’t been bothered with until now.
You: do you want to study with me in the library tonight?
Yoon: i was busy. sorry
That was his usual excuse. He was busy. You weren’t sure if he was fooling around with other women, while you yourself, well your only action was Jeonghan and it didn’t help that you felt yourself begin to harbor feelings for him. It made you feel uneasy and unsure in your situation with him.
After an outing with Soonyoung however, his bad habit of gossiping slipped on him, “it’s really funny. Whenever we’re all hanging out at Jeonghan’s, you know, the guys, he’s always leaving his room to join us after like 10 minutes.”
You made a sound of confusion, obviously bewildered as to why he was telling you this, “okay?”
Soonyoung grunts after sipping out of his straw, maybe you weren’t aware that everyone was aware, “his hair is all messy and he’s out of breath and he's red, Y/n. You’re always in there, huh?”
You felt yourself choke on your drink, he was right. You lost count of how many times Jeonghan had just finished with you, inside you, cleaning up his mess and kissing your bare shoulder sweetly before you drifted off to sleep in his bed. Now that you were aware his entire group knew– despite the fact that he would usually spend time avoiding you– made you feel embarrassed, “I’d rather we not discuss my… sex life, Soonie.”
“I think Jeonghan likes you, though. Everytime we ask him about you he’s all flustered and tries avoiding the question,” he shrugged, to which you only groaned.
“That’s because we have nothing to do with each other outside of that room. Or at least, that’s what he thinks.”
“I think you’re a liar, because he hasn’t been like this with anyone ever since his ex,” Soonyoung hums, pondering, “I don’t know, though. Sorry if I overstepped.”
Part of you wanted to press him for details, another told you just to leave it in complete ignorance. You chose the latter, but you wanted to ask: “been like what?” There was nothing between you both but an undiscussed trust you held for each other.
Nothing between you both. But you couldn’t deny the obvious tension between you and Jeonghan when his stare lingered on you longer in the halls between breaks, or how you knew he felt something when you were giving everyone attention but him at his stupid parties, and how you knew he wasn’t going to do anything about it. It had been a year of this. You were a pulling force and Jeonghan no longer knew how much he could take if you weren’t his, but something inside him felt it wasn’t right.
It’s not like you hadn't tried branching out, and Jeonghan didn't seem to mind when you did (which bothered you more than words could describe).
But there was an underlying problem– each man that had tried to pursue you was a terrible choice. They were awful in terms of personality, lacked any sense of self-awareness, and most recently, they couldn't measure up to Jeonghan. If you were going to do this you needed to stop thinking about him.
You were walking back to your house one night, coming back from a date which went the usual direction: with a boring, assholish man who made you pay for the meal once again. It didn't piss you off this time, you wouldn't let it. You were tired and ready to give up.
As the buzz sets off on your phone, you couldn’t help a grimace at who could possibly be texting you that late at night. However, there could only be one possibility.
Yoon: are you free?
Yoon: i know it’s late but i miss you
You: jeonghan
Yoon: angel
You: i just got back from a date
Yoon: oh
Yoon: bad time?
You: no
You: can you come?
Yoon: i’m on my way
The familiar knock on your door came minutes later, you swung it open and Jeonghan was taken aback by your appearance. You were dressed gorgeously in a blood-colored dress, tears ran down your face and Jeonghan felt himself surge inside, closing the door behind him and taking your cheeks in his hands.
“What’s wrong, Y/n? Did something happen?” Jeonghan asked you worriedly in a panic.
You sniffled, exhaling exasperatedly, both hands reaching up to take his wrists and peel his hold off of you. You knew what was wrong, “I’m just not cut out for anyone, I guess,” you turned to face away from his gaze, “no one.”
Jeonghan pressed his lips into a tight line, “you know that isn't true.”
It didn't occur to you that Jeonghan didn't care who you dated, you knew once you were unavailable he would eventually become a complete stranger, “what do I know?”
“Look at me,” he prompted firmly, and you complied sharply, “I don’t know what those poor excuses of men are doing with you but they don't know how to treat you at all.”
You watch him inch towards you, his hands finding purchase onto your cheeks again, kissing where a wet tear had just slid down, “I’m trying to be okay with you going out with people that obviously don't deserve you, but it’s really hard especially when they make tears run down your pretty face like this.”
“Baby?” He whispered against your lips, you wanted his on yours, “do me a favor?”
“Hm?”
“Eyes on me tonight,” he grunted, “don’t think about anyone else but me. Please?”
“Okay,” you croaked, finally feeling his lips on yours, not before he pulled away, groaning incoherent mumbles as his hands traveled down your figure, fingers gliding among your dress as they hiked up the bottom of them.
“They don’t deserve you, this,” he hummed, “I’ll make you forget they even exist.”
There was a distinct blur between where it was appropriate for the both of you to just be friends with benefits and more.
Throughout the next few weeks, there was an obvious shift in your relationship with him.
He no longer let his stare falter from you in the halls, his lips curved into a tempting smile as you passed by. Whenever you met up with him, he was greeted with your arms wrapped around his as his body pressed against yours warmly. You could feel his lips on your head, whispering “I missed you,” into your hair before a kiss, which vibrated throughout you.
It was a real shame that you knew that you could never be his, and he could never be yours, even when the lines in your relationship with him have blurred into complete dissipation.
Even when you could've sworn you could hear him whisper the words I love you, tickling your wine-sucked covered neck as his chest was pressed flush against your back & you could feel it rise and fall intensely.
Jeonghan wasn't one for commitment, and you knew that, but you were already so far. It was truly a shame how you let yourself fall for him when you knew.
6:35, the sun would’ve been gone, maybe if you let go of the hope you held for all of this. The hope you latched onto that you could be something more today. The hearts, the red and pink decorations and the occasional couples passing by on the street of the bench where you sat. It was all in vain. You could admire, but never be the one admired from the sole being you wanted it the most from. Even if he had given you room to hope.
About ready to accept defeat and break it all off, a low voice came from directly behind you.
“I’m sorry I made you wait so long, angel.”
Your head snaps in the direction of the familiar voice, your eyebrows scrunched at the sudden presence of Jeonghan, when you were sure tonight was going to be another night of him cancelling out of the blue.
He didn't give you much time to bask in every part of him, the way your eyes flickered to his serious expression to his very new hair– maroon, a dark difference from the blonde he would sport on his long locks. And finally, when he straightened, a giant bouquet filled with scattered red carnations wrapped  in the most luxurious tissue paper tied in a golden bow was held in his hands. His breath was labored and his chest continued to rise and fall as he looked at every part of you.
You felt confused, angry, and relieved all at once. All you wanted were answers.
“You’re late. You’re so late, Jeonghan, where were you?” You felt your voice break as you stood to face him behind the bench.
He looked at the flowers and then at you, “I swear I left the house early, quarter before six, promise Y/n. But I saw the flower parlor a few blocks down selling this gorgeous bouquet and the way they reminded me of you told me it was almost criminal not to get them. I didn't think it would take nearly an hour to wait in line, I’m sorry, baby.”
Your heart dropped, “you waited an hour to get these for me? Why didn't you text?”
“I didn't bring my phone, I was already halfway in line and I wanted it to be a surprise,” you watched him walk around the bench to stop in front of you, “I’m sorry you waited for me for this long, this is important to me, Y/n.”
“I…” You trailed off, not knowing what to say, your eyes traveled back and forth between the flowers, his incredibly handsome suit and his hair which matched effortlessly, “I don't understand anymore.”
He practically deflated at your words, “understand what, angel?”
“This, us,” you exhaled wobbly and let a hand run through your hair before letting it drop to your sides, “what we are. I don't get it, you pretend I don't exist for days and then treat me like I’m everything and more to you. Is it that hard just to choose one instead of leaving me to hang and dry like this?”
His expression softened as you continued, “you’re so confusing, Jeonghan, how do you want me so I can stop getting my hopes up–”
“I love you.”
“W-what?”
“I want to be your boyfriend, Y/n. I’ve wanted you since the day I laid my eyes on you, God, I love you and I’m sorry it’s taken me this long to say it.”
You felt an all-familiar profound feeling in your chest, the ones you would feel when staring at him when he fell asleep on your table, insisting he’d watch you study. Or when you felt him pepper his kisses when he thought you’d be sleeping, or just seeing him direct his alluring smile to you, “are you… sure?”
He sighed, “I’ve been so sure it’s terrifying, but not about how you felt. I wasn't sure if you want me the same way I want you, so I figured the feelings would disappear naturally,” Jeonghan set the beautiful bouquet of carnations on the bench before reaching for your hands, “I don't want to be anyone else’s but yours. You’re the only thing in my life that’s going well, and I didn't want to lose that. I’m so sorry.”
You shook your head, wriggling your hands out of his grip and Jeonghan’s heart dropped as he was sure that he had lost you now, until he felt them cup his cheeks warmly, “I want to be with you Jeonghan. No more disappearing, no more leaving, if you mean it, can you do that?”
He nods rapidly and eagerly, “I don't ever want to. I promise.”
Feeling a smile creep onto your face, you pressed a kiss on his lips, full of love and sincerity. You felt his own form of a smirk before pulling away, “so, am I…?”
“Yes, Jeonghan, you’re my boyfriend,” you rolled your eyes at him, playfully hitting his chest, “and for the record, I love you too.”
With a giggle he takes the bouquet and hands it to you, in which you gladly take. You gesture to his hair and his eyebrows rose up in realization, “oh yeah, do you like it?”
Cradling the carnations in one hand, he took your free hand, swinging it happily as you nodded, “why red?”
He shrugged, “it reminded me of you. It makes me look sexy, doesn't it?”
You sighed and jokingly nudged him, in which he feigned injury, “it does. So, where do you suppose we go?”
His footsteps mirrored yours, “I made reservations for that one fancy restaurant down the block,” he hummed, “it’s at 7, so we have just enough time to walk there now.”
“At seven? What were we supposed to do for an hour, Jeonghan?”
His hand gripped yours tighter, and there was no mistaking what his quiet chuckle implied.
“Jeonghan.”
He chuckled again before stopping to face you. He ran a hand down your arm, “we can do that later, there’s a lot I want to do. But right now, I just want to be with you.”
He leans in to place a kiss on your cheek, “and before I get a chance to say it and rip this dress off of you later, you look absolutely beautiful.”
Your cheeks burned off a dark cherry afterwards, just before he began to walk with you again.
“Happy Valentine’s Day, Jeonghan,” you murmur sheepishly.
He hummed, turning his head to pull you in for another kiss on the cheek, “happy Valentine’s, my Y/n.”

• WORD COUNT — 1k • AUTHOR'S NOTE — cute idea i had but had no intentions writing it.. so enjoy my bullet points!!
It all started when you were first introduced to the friend group, catching sungchans attention immediately at you shy but reserved aura
But all that shyness flutters away when sungchan musters up the courage to talk to you, quickly learning that you two have similar interests, along with living near each other
And so a friendship blooms. You and sungchan get closer while your new (his) friends tease the couple, saying how obvious you liked each other, yet you always shooed the idea off
Its a few months later when sungchan suggests that you go to a party with him. Sungchan loved meeting new people and acting 'crazy', and plus, youre always stuck in your room. "you gotta get out more," he'd bump your shoulder as you walked to class
And you're almost sure that you'll tell sungchan no, until he sends you a big pair of puppy eyes, bring his hands together with a pout.. he was almost on his knees. You hate him for it, showing up at the blasting house after school hours
"You came!!" He would gasp as he opens the door, clapping his hands proudly as he leads you inside
But despite sungchans warm welcome, you found yourself uncomfortable about the amount of people, leaving the house to get some quiet air
And although you tell him to stay inside, enjoy the party, hes right behind you, refusing to leave your side
You open up to him, saying the reason why you were so quiet, the reason why you hated being around people was because of your past school. You were constantly ignored no matter how many times you tried to make friends, so over time you shut down, finding comfort with being by yourself
Sungchans a very clear extrovert, so when you say that you didnt have any friends, his heart immediately breaks. He starts apologizing even though he didnt do anything at all, feeling so bad about your misfortune that he swears that he'd be with you no matter what
Hes also confused onto why you were so okay about it. The only that felt your lips was a sad chuckle, he would have been crying in your shoes. So he stops walking, being out his arms. "Need a hug?" You almost run into his arms, tucking your head into his chest as he rubs your back, still saying how sorry hes feeling
And after that day, sungchan was your best friend. Someone you could talk to no matter the mood. Someone you cherished ♡
YOU THOUGHT I WAS DONE?! AHAHAHAH
Now, sungchans friends are really sure that you at least like each other, even in the slightest
But you're both persistent. Sungchan didn't want to be wrong and you didnt want to assume anything, as you both really enjoyed each others company, and was not about to risk it for some stupid feelings
But the boys are sick and tired of your endless pinning, pulling sungchan aside when youre in the bathroom and telling him how much sungchan is in love with you
And after the several points they made, suddenly everything clicks. The amount of time and effort sungchan put into your relationship, the boys were finally making sense
And since hes aware of his feelings, hes a little shy, avoiding your eyes so he doesnt stare at you lovingly and embarrass himself. When youre not looking he'd finally turn to your direction, a smile on his face as he watches your side profile glow
Sungchan starts to get some desires. It isnt creepy or sexual in any way; he just wants to cuddle you and hug you and squish your cheeks. But most importantly he wants to kiss you. So bad. Like soo bad
Sungchan randomly calls you to walk around the park that was nearby your houses, worry taking over you as he normally calls ahead of time
He starts complaining about how he feels sick. But not sick sick, love sick. He's found this girl that hes head over heals for, someone he wanted to spend his life with, someone that was you. But you didnt know he was talking about you, your heart going into void as he continues to rant about the nameless girl
Before he can reveal the identity, hes called home, giving you a quick hug because you made him feel better
But he made you feel bad
You spend the night and early morning crying your eyes out. You wanted to push away your broken heart, just be happy for the boy but you just cant. You felt broken
Sungchan comes to school happier than usual, ready to see your pretty face that was.. frowning..?? And avoiding him.. did he do something wrong?
Its only when hes talking to wonbin that he realizes hes the source to your problem, sending you a quick text to meet him at the park, same time
He continues to talk about his nameless crush, watching you hold back your tears as he just couldnt take it anymore.
"Whats wrong?" He whispers, pulling you close as he begins to wipe your tears away. He gets a little angry when you keep refusing to talk to him, telling him repeatedly that everythings alright when youre face is close to a rivers
So he apologizes, which makes you feel confused, as he smashes his lips onto yours
"You.. you're the girl I've been talking about." He lightly strokes your cheek, his eyes watering at thought of making you cry over him. "I should have told you sooner.. im so sorry for making you wait." He'd pull you into a hug, his voice cracking. He really feels so bad
After telling him plenty of times that its alright, that he didnt do this intentionally, you suggest that he comes over for dinner, so you can talk (kiss) about this more
It all started when hes interacting and laughing with your parents and siblings, feeling so connected and happy that you felt your heart warm of joy, knowing that hes the one. And with his very obvious glances, you can confirm that he feels the same ♡

Tumblr media
pairing: jamie tartt x fem!reader
word count: 2.7k
series warnings: lots of language throughout, some allusions to smut but nothing explicit, a LOT of fucking fluff mostly ngl
a/n: the response on the first chapter of this was so overwhelming in the best way. i'm literally beside myself that people enjoyed it! my current plan is to update this every other day and try and get some little blurbs and one shots out in between. have a fabulous saturday night my loves <3
series summary: when jamie gets called up to the england team for the first time, he's terrified. enter you, all smiles and swearing, and suddenly his only fear is falling head over boots for you.
previous chapter | series masterlist | next chapter
---
chapter two - i swear i thought i'd dreamed her
“Is that all you’ve got, Tartt?”
“Oh you’re so fuckin’ on, Rife.”
It’s day four of training camp. Jamie is over the moon to find that the England lads are largely similar to his Richmond lot and while he’s not half in love with them like he is back home, they’re a good bunch of lads. They get on. They can rib each other endlessly and then enjoy a good meal. He feels far more at home than he could have imagined.
He hadn’t expected Ted to get quite so jealous when he was telling him all this on FaceTime the night before.
“It’s nothin’ like being at home, though, Ted. ‘Course fuckin’ not. Haven’t got a grandad screaming at me all the time, ‘ave I?”
That was enough to placate Ted, allowed him to get on with telling Jamie how everyone was getting on at Richmond. Apparently, Ted had originally called him to get some advice on hair care products, but Jamie didn’t buy that for a second. He knew Ted could tell how nervous he was before he left. He was so grateful to have a gaffer - and a friend - willing to make up a shit excuse to check up on him.
He was holding his own in the training sessions too. He knew he wasn’t first choice up front, and however much it might have irked him previously, now he was able to enjoy the prestige that came with being here. The feeling he got when he shrugged on his England kit every morning just like he’d dreamt about when he was only a sexy little baby.
He loved penalty practice with Rife, tackling Marko in a 5v5 and knowing he’d be tackled back any second. He knew they were training for what would turn out to be some of the most important matches of his career, but it didn’t feel like it. It felt like making a few new friends and dragging them down to the nearby pitch everyday to have a kick about. It felt nice.
Still hadn’t managed to talk to the City lads, though.
It was beginning to affect his play, too. When one of them would shout out an instruction to him, he’d do it without hesitation, wanting to make nice. But he knew that his own instincts got him his place on this team and blindly listening to others wasn’t going to get him any minutes.
Which was why he was stood behind a plant, outside the hotel bar, trying to figure out his move to just go over and talk to the fuckers.
They were nice lads. He knew that. They used to be friends, yeah, but he was a prick back then, so maybe they only liked prick Jamie and weren’t that nice at all. Or they hated prick Jamie and wanted nothing to do with him ever again. Or they thought he was a total joke who didn’t deserve to be there. Or-
“What did the plant do to you?” came a voice from behind him, which made him realise he was gripping the stem with a vengeance, “You need me to kick it over? I’ll do it, but you’ll need to be lookout.”
That playful teasing, that voice, was familiar. When he turned and found you, kind head of PR you that he hadn’t seen properly since your first meeting, he couldn’t decide if he was a lucky bastard or had the worst misfortune in the whole world. He groaned either way as he let go of the poor plant.
“I’ll water it later to say sorry, I guess,” he said, patting a leaf in a way that felt pretty pathetic, “You’re stayin’ ‘ere too? I haven’t seen ya.”
That wasn’t totally true. He’d seen you about once a day since that first day, but only around the camp itself rather than the hotel. The two of you had shared curt nods each time, a reminder of your first meeting, but each time these nods had been followed by easy smiles to each other.
Each time you’d been sharply dressed. A pencil skirt here, a trouser suit there. It reminded him a little of Rebecca, except for the little touches that he’d noticed you let slip through the professional facade. A beaded anklet, a pair of fluffy earrings. You were a ray of sunshine around the place, that much he had picked up on. The regulars at the camp greeted you as a similar breath of fresh air.
“Perk of being head of a department,” you smile, “How’s training treating you? Issues with the grass that you’re taking out on all plants in sight?”
There was a very loud sigh waiting in his throat. He could make up a lie about waiting for someone, or checking out the plants because he wanted to get himself one back home, but you’d see through any bullshit he offered up. And he didn’t really want to bullshit you anyway.
“More embarrassin’ than that, I think,” he admits, watching as your face falls from that teasing smile to something with more worry in it. It’s very hard to keep eye contact with you when you’re looking at him all concerned like that, “I’m gonna give y’ the option to walk away now, if ya want, so y’ don’t have to be part of it, like.”
He watches you make a face as if there’s an obvious answer to what he’s just said. Without thinking, he takes a quick glance back at the City players huddled around the bar to check they haven’t clocked him. Of course, you notice.
“I hope you know how mysterious and intriguing you just made this situation,” you say as you come to stand beside him, more behind the plant than you were, “Something to do with the lads in there?”
That big, loud sigh he’s been holding in manages to break free.
“Yeah, it is. Yeah,” he doesn’t even know how to say it without sounding like a sad sack of shit. You smell really good and it’s the first time he’s seen you in anything other than work clothes and you look incredible in cargos. His thought process is scrambled, “They’re all City, yeah? Sooo…we were teammates an’ then we weren’t. Now I’m…fuck, I don’t even fuckin’ know what I’m doin’.”
Part of him hates swearing like that in front of you until he remembers your penchant for swearing. He hadn’t looked at you when he was talking, but when he risks a look back at your face, there’s no more of that worry that had been there briefly. There’s understanding instead, and he likes it a lot more.
“You want to talk but don’t know how? Think they hate your guts?”
“Well, it’d be hard to hate these guts,” he says, words cocky but he doesn’t get the tone right and he’s quick to self-deprecate instead, “But yeah, that sums it up. Pretty fuckin’ pathetic, huh?”
“No. Not fucking pathetic at all, Just Jamie. Don’t call yourself that.”
You’re looking at him expectantly so he nods, a little confused by your ferocity.
“Good. Not pathetic,” you say again, for him or for you, he isn’t sure, “So, let’s get us a game plan. How about we go in there, order a drink maybe, definitely some chips, and I’ll wave them over after ten minutes. I’ll make up some PR bullshit, get the conversation going.”
He hesitates. Suddenly, he realises his previous plan was to stare at them all night through the leaves of this plant before running back to his room when they looked like they were about to get up.
“I dunno…maybe I should leave it? Like, I’m making a big deal out of nothin’, really.”
“I think they’d appreciate you making an effort,” you insist, “I can confirm that they don’t hate your guts, if it helps. They’re decent lads. Warne is a dickhead, but he’s harmless. I’m sure you know all this, really.”
“You might be underestimatin’ what a dickhead I was, Just Y/N,” he laments, although the use of what he could now call a nickname between the two of you makes him feel better, “I was fuckin’ awful.”
“No, I know,” she says instead, and he wasn’t expecting that. His head snaps to gape at her so quick she actually laughs at him, “I watched Lust Conquers All. It’s trash but it makes you feel better about yourself, you know? And yeah, you did seem like a dickhead, but you don’t seem like one now. Anyone with half a brain would notice, so I’m sure even Warne will realise you’re not coming at them from the same place you were at.”
It’s a lot to process. Firstly, that yet another person has watched that godforsaken fucking show and it’s you and he feels like a total idiot in front of you now. But then he registers the rest of it, that in such a short time you’ve just proclaimed that he’d obviously not like that anymore. That he’s changed. He knows he has, but he doesn’t always expect other people to notice straightaway.
“How the fuck did you watch that show and still manage to be so nice to me when we met?” he asks, because he can’t help himself. He wants to know the answer. Wants to know if you’re just like that with everyone, because that would probably be easier.
“Hey,” you lower your voice, “Richmond fan, remember? I’ve been to the games. Even a couple of the open training sessions. Everyone at Richmond knows you’re a different person now, right?”
He gulps. Nods.
“Yeah.”
“Yeah. So…I do too,” you’re practically whispering now. Talking to you is like having a piece of Richmond with him, maybe even more so than the playlist. You’re Richmond and you know the new Jamie. It means more than he should tell you to feel like he has someone on his side, “Also I’m pretty good friends with this guy at the club. Do you know Trent Crimm?”
“You know Trent?” he exclaims, louder than he should. You hush him, but you’re smiling as you do it. He repeats his question a lot quieter, “Sorry. You know Trent Crimm?”
“Yeah, he used to do some reporting on England, for a while. We ended up chatting quite a lot. There’s not many male football journalists out there worth making friends with, but Trent’s one of the good ones. He texted me to look after you, actually, so you must be pretty great.”
Now Jamie was really torn. On the one hand, Trent texting you to take care of him was really fucking nice for a man he hadn’t even spoken to all that much. On the other hand, there was now a sinking feeling in his chest that all this kindness was a favour to Trent and had nothing to do with him at all.
“Oh. That’s- uh, that’s nice to hear.”
“Oh fuck, that’s not why I want to help you!” you said quickly, like you’d read his mind, “I just saw you with the plant, wanted to check you were okay. I’m not just, like, fulfilling a promise to him or anything.”
That sinking feeling lifted. Especially because he liked that you wanted to make sure he knew that. He could feel little pieces of his confidence floating back into his body. They were on thin ice, however, when you tugged on his arm to follow you as you walked straight into the bar, heading directly for the City players as you did so. He had no choice but to follow you.
His first thought was that you really did look criminally good in cargos, and his second thought was that this wasn’t in the fucking plan.
“Boys! My City Folk,” you greet them, definitely going for awkward on purpose. The three players smiled and waved as you came to stop beside them at the bar, Jamie following behind attempting to look as cool as possible, “I do hope you’re not breaking any rules? I am a known grass, and I will tell Gareth.”
They laugh and Jamie joins in because then maybe he’ll be part of things. Also, you’re funny, and he can tell you know it.
“Don’t worry, Y/N, just water for us tonight. We thought if we came down here, it might at least feel like we were drinking.”
“And I thought there might be some girls to chat with,” Warne added, as expected by pretty much everyone who knew him, “None around until you showed up, Y/N.”
“You’re a fucking idiot, Warne,” you reprimand, though there’s enough teasing in it that he just grins, “Didn’t the others remind you this hotel is entirely booked out for England players and staff?”
“Yeah. But you never know who you haven’t met yet.”
Jamie snorts at that and it draws more attention to him than he’d like. But it’s an opening, and your eyes are wide telling him to go for it! So he does.
“Strangely profound for you, Warne,” he supplies, grateful when you chuckle and the other two City boys join in, “Hey, how about the next round of water is on me?”
That really draws a laugh out of them, even Warne.
“You were always a generous son of a bitch, Tartt,” Rocky smiles, clapping him on the back. Again he sees an opening and with you still looking at him all encouragingly, he wants to take it.
“Nah, I wasn’t. I was a prick when we last talked. But I’ve been told I’m slightly better now, sometimes,” he glances at you when he says it, but you look so fond he has to look away, “Anyways, what I’m tryin’ to say: I’m sorry for before. Hope we can start fresh, like.”
“Mate,” Rocky shakes his head, brushing him off, “We’re all good. Long as you don’t keep drifting offside when I’m trying to thread one to you, I think we’ll manage.”
“Yeah, and don’t beat me in the fitness trials, alright? That’s my time to shine,” Warne adds, and even he’s got a friendly look in his eye, an attempt to respond to Jamie’s obvious and unexpected vulnerability. The weight that Jamie feels lift off his chest is massive. He can breathe properly again.
“No promises, mate. I’m fuckin’ fast now. Lightning, me.”
And with that, it’s easy to fall back into the banter he was used to. When Warne has launched into a story about not being able to find a toilet in Ibiza, he turns to you to say a silent thank you, but you’ve vanished from his side. He tries not to let his disappointment show on his face.
Searching around for a second, as subtly as he can, he spots a flash of your cargos behind the plant he’d been so well acquainted with. You pop your head out when you see that he’s looking and shoot him a double thumbs up and it’s all he can do not to excuse himself from the conversation and run over to you.
But you’re already giving a little wave and walking the other way. He watches you until you’re gone. Lets his eyes linger even a little longer than that.
When he turns back to tune into Warne again, hoping none of them noticed his wandering eye, he’s so incredibly grateful that you helped him face his fear. That he’s got his wish, and can get back to the game he loves without anymore unfinished business hanging over him.
Alongside that gratefulness, is the tugging at his heart that thinks his position behind that plant wasn’t so bad, once he gained some company.
But he wouldn’t have flirted with you. He isn’t going to. Bad idea. Just talking, in a totally friendly way, would have been a pretty fucking nice evening, he thinks.

next chapter
if you've got this far, i fucking love you!! <3 and if you're at all into real life football like i am (enough to be pursuing a job in the field ffs) then see if you can work out who any of the England players might be based on hahaha

Please! I just wanna give him a big ol' hug
Tumblr media
Summary: The reader makes an attempt to comfort Max after the incident at Worlds End.
There isn't a feeling in the world worse than having to stand by and watch someone you care for get their heart broken by someone they trusted. But that's what you're here doing. AEW's Worlds End PPV special is closing out and you're stuck between Excalibur and Nigel watching Max get the crap beaten out of him by the man that was supposed to be his best friend. Adam Cole.
"I have to say, I feel a bit bad for the lad." Nigel admits as he begins gathering up his papers from the desk.
"Yeah, me too." Excalibur agrees while doing the same.
You fidget with a pen in your hand, trying your absolute best not to vault the table and rush to help Max. "A bit?" You shoot a glare at Nigel.
Nigel shrugs and slips off his headset, ready to head backstage. He walks away from the desk and Excalibur does the same. You watch the pair walk off chatting with one another and scoff. Sure, Max isn't exactly popular with either of them. But for them to not even offer the fallen champ a consoling glance is utterly ridiculous. In your mind anyway.
Cautiously you make your way around the commentary table and head toward the ring. Adam Cole and his new posse of goons have slinked back into the darkness for the moment and Max is sitting defeated on the floor near the ring steps.
"Do you need some help up?" You walk over to Max quietly with a sympathetic smile. You have no idea how Max will react to the offer of help. Not after everything that's happened to him. But you have to at least try.
Max looks up from the floor with red and puffy eyes. "Y/N? What do you want?" He asks you, shifting his body to point away from you.
"I just wanted to see if you're alright." You reply. "That beating you took looked rough. And the thing with Adam..."
Max scoffs and shakes his head. "I shouldn't be surprised at this point." He sneers. "No one ever stays. Not my fiancé, not my friends, or people I thought were my friends. No one." He sighs deeply. "I'm just a loser that's destined to be alone. And I'm not even a champion anymore. So there goes the fans as well." He looks out at the crowd now starting to spill out of the arena.
"I'm here now." You reply and kneel down so you're not towering over Max. "And I know that we don't know each other that well. But I want to help if I can." You offer Max your hand to help him up. "At least let you know that you're not 100% alone."
Max looks at your hand and then back up at  your face. He repeats this a couple of times before reluctantly taking your hand. You pull him up to his feet and walk backstage with him.
"I'm sorry that you lost." You speak up while you're walking. "I know what it's like to have a friend stab you in the back like that. In fact, I'll never wrestle again because of it." You laugh at your misfortune.
"You used to wrestle?" Max glances at you.
You nod, briefly recalling the painful memory in your head. "Yep. I worked for ROH before Khan bought it out. I was helping out this new girl. Showing her the ropes and stuff. And she stabbed me in the back during a ladder match for a title opportunity. Threw me off a 15 foot ladder and into a pile of smaller ones." You explain. "She went on to win the title, and I damn near broke my spine."
"Damn." Max replies. "I had no idea. I just thought you had always been in commentary and backstage stuff." He admits.
"It's fulfilling enough work." You shrug. "Sure, it'll never beat being in the ring. But at least it's still a part of it, right?"
Max nods and the two of you come up on the locker room area. "Thanks for talking with me." Max stops in front of his room and turns to you. "I...I needed that." He admits.
"No problem." You nod. "I know when it happened to me all I wanted was someone to talk with. Someone that knew what I was feeling. So if you ever need some company, just shoot me a text or something." You offer with a soft smile.
"I think that I'll take you up on that, thanks." Max nods. "I'll see you later, Y/N."
You step back from the door with another soft smile. "Mhm. Take care, Max. And hey, try not to beat yourself up too hard." You add before you turn and walk off.
Max lingers at the door and watches you disappear down the hall. That sinking feeling in his chest lightens a bit as he watches you walk off. No one has ever shown him kindness and an willingness to just be there for him before.
It's addicting.
Max finds himself smiling a bit as he heads inside his locker room. He's lost everything tonight. So why the hell is he smiling? What have you done?
Given him hope, that's what. And hope is a dangerous thing for a man that's already lost so much.

♕ A/N: I have mixed feelings about the movie but I adore the book. My favorite character is Sejanus, ugh my heart bleeds for this character. Never stop I’d be writing a fanfiction for this story. Coriolanus Snow is an evil but interesting villain. I thought I’d dive into the dynamic of him essentially taking what should’ve been Sejanus’s life.
♕ SUMMARY: Poor Sejanus. Poor sensitive, foolish dead Sejanus. A good son, loving brother, and amazing friend.
♕ WORD COUNT: 1K
♕ WARNING: Death

Father had not left his study since word reached us. Every time Mother looked at me, I knew it was not me she saw. The tremble of her lip and mist of her eyes reminded me of my new reality. A reality where I drew breath as my twin did not.
I could not process it. Not at first. I would wait for a letter from him in the mail. His ramblings of doing good, of being better a constant any time he opened his mouth. Oh my good brother. Miles away. Hung in the districts for treason.
The first few weeks the house was silent. I could make out Mothers frequent sobs through the day. Other times the deep gait of Fathers boots from his room to his office. Rarely from his office to his room. Our home became much like a graveyard. Empty and cold.
This remained until the day Mother and I woke to every picture of Sejanus in the foyer gone. Mother sobbed for her baby, one would think Father was withholding her actual child. Still, my Father, the stern unforgiving statue of a man, refused to return all that remained of her son to her.
The first thing I began to forget was his voice. All the hours he spent in my room ranting angrily about our father. I’d lay on my bed watching him pace, his passion fueled and furious. I thought maybe he’d be president someday. Panem needed the likes of him.
“Well eventually Fathers time will come to pass and it’ll be you in the position of wealth and power. Be patient sweet brother. You’ll do great things, I just know it.”
He’ll hang in the poorest district branded a traitor. Some say he cried for Mother. Others say he cried for me. Oh how it was few and far between but make no mistake, I wept for my brother. My kind, sweet, sensitive dead brother.
As his voice faded over time so did the small details of his presence. How his curls always stayed so effortlessly in place unlike my own that would become frizzy in a moments notice. The way he his nose would scrunch when he laughed. His obnoxious snores he would deny whenever called out on it.
See, Father was happy to erase Sejanus from our home. His memory a reminder of everything our Father could never be. A compassionate soul. A loving brother and son. A good man.
𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐭 𝐌𝐲 𝐃𝐨𝐨𝐫
Then came Coriolanus Snow. His gaze distant as he stood in our foyer, my father greeting him like a son returning home from travels. Long gone the hand made shirts and boots a size too tight. The messy haired Snow appeared far different, he too have died back in twelve. I wondered if he hung too or perhaps his fate was far worse. A mystery to never be solved, especially not if Coriolanus Snow could help it.
“I’m sorry for your loss,” His gaze bounced between myself and Mother. My Father said nothing while Mother embraced Coriolanus as I stared at him.
“Are you?” My words earned a stern tone from Father and scoldings from Mother. I offered a forced apology my eyes never leaving the leech standing in my family home. Gaining the world from the misfortune that befell my dear Sejanus. My father’s new pride and joy. At dinner Father was thrilled to announce his replacement son would join my side at University come the new term.
I left the table without a word. My father yelled for me to return as Mother assured our unwelcome guest it was not personal. Yet it was. Sejanus was to be with me for my first day of University. Not Coriolanus Snow.
Perhaps it was unfair. My brother was dead and I had already spent a lifetime despising my father. So who better to bear the brunt of my anger than the man who gained it all as I suffered my deepest loss.
𝐈 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐈, 𝐈 𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐓𝐨 𝐆𝐨
The night before our first day I stayed in my room. A knock at my door was an unexpected and unwelcome one. Mother was never a night owl and never in all my years had Father come to my room. Opening my door I crossed my arms leaning on the jamb. He stands holding a white rose his blue eyes piercing into my blank stare.
“I know you aren’t thrilled about me being here. I uh—I just wanted to wish you a good first day tomorrow,” Coriolanus spoke slowly. The rose still lingered in the air between us. I did not grab it.
“What happened to my brother?” His eyebrows quirked at my question, his lips parted as though he wanted to speak but nothing could leave him. I tilted my head my eyes narrowed before I retreated into my room leaving the door agape. At my shelf I rifled through the few papers and momentos of my own before finding the crumple paper stained with faded ink. The smudge writing typical for my left handed counterpart. My eyes on the paper as I return to the jamb, “…Coriolanus is here too. It’s nice to not be alone. His songbird is here, he plays it cool when I mention her but you can tell he cares for her. We’re like brothers, after what he did for me during the games. I’m going to protect him—“
𝐌𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐥
“Are you accusing me of something?” His own eyes narrowed down at me. The glint in them something I could not put into words, at the time I had no knowledge of the nerve I struck.
“Did you know of his plans?” I asked crossing my arms, my tone lowered. Father was always a light sleeper, if he had even been sleeping.
Coriolanus sighed, his gaze locked on my own unblinking. I narrowed my eyes and stared up at him. He shouldn’t be here. In my family home, enjoying all the luxuries owed to my brother, not him.
“I did,” Coriolanus confessed. He wet his lips, as he shared his knowledge of treason so casually.
“Then why is my brother gone and you’re here?” The waver of my voice cracked my hardened resolve. My body trembled beneath the weight of too many emotions to sort. Confusion. Rage. Grief. Disbelief. I choked back a cry and allowed Coriolanus to pull me in his arms as I sobbed into his shoulder.
“Sejanus loved you more than anything. I promised I’d look after you,” Coriolanus touch was soothing as he poured honey in my ears. Capitalizing off my vulnerability. My brother’s true final words to me slipped from my grasp as I took comfort from the source of my grief.
“—I have already requested a leave of absence for your first day of University. Look at the bright side sister. You won’t have to fuss about my hair being better than yours on your big day. They have buzzed my curls from me. We’ll be together soon, sister. Give Mother my love. With love. Your brother, Sejanus.”

KISS ME — TREVOR ZEGRAS
trevor zegras x fem! drysdale! reader
FAITHLYNN’S 500 CELLY!
🌷: “forget it you’re a fucking asshole” & “that was kind of hot” & “please just kiss me already” with Trevor.
warnings: alcohol, heavy make out sesh
Tumblr media
i wouldn’t necessarily describe Trevor and i as ‘friends’. we argue way too much for that. which isn’t great when you take into account how often i see him. as Jamie’s twin sister, i go nearly everywhere with him; i moved to California with him, i attend almost every game, and i’m at nearly every hang out with him. which is why tonight, i’m stuck at a party i don’t necessarily wanna be at. i tried telling Jamie that i would much rather stay at my apartment tonight, but he insisted that i must come to he and Trevor’s party for at least an hour. he stated it was my ‘obligation as his twin’, whatever that means.
so now i sit on his overcrowded sofa, a soda in my hand and a timer on my phone counting down from an hour. i’ve only been here for fifteen minutes and i’m already sick of Trevor’s obnoxious storytelling. i watch him as he stands barely five feet away from me, recounting an insane goal he made from behind the net to a group of girls in front of him. his hands gesture wildly as he speaks, and i can foresee an accident happening before it even does. and lo and behold, i’m correct. what i didn’t expect was that it would be on me. his drink flies out of his grip, splashing and landing straight on me, and i gasp at the feeling of cold beer hitting my face and chest.
“oh shit!” Trevor exclaims, chuckling at my misfortune. “sorry, y/n!
“are you kidding me, Trevor?!” i stand and wipe at my face with my hands, looking down at my brand new dress that’s now covered in alcohol. “you— ugh! are you seriously laughing right now?”
“i said i was sorry.” he rolls his eyes.
“yeah! as you laughed!” i argue.
“what do you want me to do?!” he chuckles.
“forget it, you’re a fucking asshole.” i state, looking around for my brother in hopes that he can lend me a change of clothes, but i don’t see him anywhere. i huff out a breath and start walking towards the exit. he’ll just have to deal with me leaving, he probably won’t even notice anyways.
“hold on!” Trevor shouts over the music, grabbing my arm. “c’mon, i’ll give you some sweats.”
he pulls on my arm, leading the way towards his bedroom, and i roll my eyes. i guess it’s the least he can do, after all, he is the one who spilled his drink on me. we step into his room and he immediately bee lines toward his dresser, pulling out a pair of sweatpants and an Anaheim Ducks t-shirt, holding them out for me. i take them from his grasp, muttering a sarcastic ‘thanks’ and pulling the sweatpants on under my dress, having to roll the legs up at the bottom. i pay no mind to the boy standing in front of me and pull my dress over my head, leaving me in a bralette before yanking the t-shirt on. i look back at Trevor, who stands wide eyed. he gulps before speaking.
“that was kind of hot.” he admits, and i let out a chuckle. “i mean, you- you’re always hot but…”
“you think i’m hot?” i ask.
“well, yeah.” he replies, but then his eyes get wide. “but Jamie would kill me if he knew that so please don’t tell him.”
“why would i tell Jamie?” i question.
“well, you guys are twins, so don’t you guys like, tell each other everything?”
“no?” i give him a weird look. “i don’t know about him, but, i don’t tell him everything.”
“really? Jamie seems to think you do.” Trevor glances toward the closed bedroom door as he speaks, as if he’s worried about being caught alone with me.
“well, i don’t.” i state. “i didn’t tell him i thought you were hot.”
“you think i’m hot?” Trevor exclaims.
“yeah. but you’re also pretty annoying, so sometimes those two things cancel each other out.” Trevor laughs at my joke for a moment before his expression turns serious.
“so, you think i’m hot, i think you’re stunning, what do we do with that information.” he raises an eyebrow, stepping closer to me so that our bodies nearly touch. i roll my eyes and speak.
“please just kiss me already.”
Trevor wastes no time in doing so. his hands grip my waist and he pulls me into him, his lips crashing down on mine with intensity. lust charged electricity flows between us and my hands come up to the nape of his neck, gripping the hair there and pushing his lips harder against mine. he sucks on my bottom lip, eliciting a moan from me that he swallows up. he pushes me backwards, my back coming into contact with the wall behind me, and my leg raises to settle on his hip. his head dips down as he leaves open mouthed kisses down my neck, and he rolls his body, his bulge pressing into my core. i let out a whimper at the contact and he repeats the movement, but before we can get any farther, a knock sounds at the door.
“y/n? you in there?” Jamie’s voice is muffled from the wood between us, and Trevor and i jump apart at the sound. i wipe at my lips and neck, fixing my clothes and flattening my hair as Trevor readjusts himself and runs a hand through his hair.
i walk over to the door, pulling it open to reveal my brother on the other side.
“heyyy.” he drags out, his eyes darting between Trevor and i suspiciously. his gaze goes down to my outfit and he raises an eyebrow.
“hey. Trevor spilled his beer on my dress, so he lent me some clothes.” i explain. Trevor hums in agreement, nodding his head.
“oh, okay.” Jamie nods before looking at Trevor. “wanna play beer pong?”

dialogue starters from DOCTOR WHO SEASON 9. feel free to edit for context / continues under the cut.
"Why do you always assume I'm lying?"
"An enemy's just a friend you don't really know yet."
"Wherever you go, there are people who care enough to find you."
"Anyone can hide from an enemy. No one from a friend."
"I did something wrong. I let somebody down when I should have been brave enough and strong enough to do better."
"You do realise you're still an idiot."
"Are you any good with a broadsword?"
"It's okay. I'm not going to hurt you. Just don't run."
"He doesn't know we're here, does he?"
"When do I not see you?"
"Nobody dies here. Not one person, not one of my friends, do you understand?"
"You want to know how dangerous I am?"
"Is that supposed to frighten me?"
"If she is really dead, then you'd better be very, very careful how you tell me."
"What am I even looking for?"
"They don't have much respect for you, do they?"
"I'm so glad you didn't have to see that."
"I'm your friend. I'm your friend!"
"You know what? I've just had a very clever idea."
"How long do you think it's been down here?"
"What's wrong? You're not happy. Why aren't you happy? Tell me."
"Wait, wait. I don't think they're going to hurt us."
"Where do you think you're going?"
"Do you know what you need? You need a hobby."
"Where have you been? Everyone's been looking for you."
"We're coming back, aren't we?"
"I'm fine, by the way, in case you were worried."
"We need to get there. It's our only way out."
"You're sure they're not going to hurt us?"
"You seem to know an awful lot about me."
"I'm asking what I should say to you."
"I'm not ready yet. I don't want to think about that. Not yet."
"You didn't try very hard to stop her, though, did you?"
"You can't cheat time."
"No one is coming to save you."
"You're always talking about what you can and can't do but you never tell me the rules."
"We're time travellers. We tread softly. It's okay to make ripples, but not tidal waves."
"I had a dream you'd all died. It was so real, I thought I'd made it happen."
"There's nothing to fear, strange maiden."
"What's the one thing that gods never do? Gods never actually show up!"
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you afraid."
"I have no reason to fear you."
"Not every misfortune that befalls us is down to you."
"We're not cowards. We do not run."
"Stay. You could help us. I know you could."
"A good death? Is that the best we can hope for?"
"I've got a hobby, thanks. It's you, by the way."
"Every time we do something like this, I keep thinking, what if something happens to you?"
"What do you think our chances are tomorrow?"
"I cannot keep you safe. I do not have the strength. But I will try to till the last beat of my heart."
"I'm sick of losing people."
"Look at you, with your eyes, and your never giving up, and your anger, and your kindness."
"One day, the memory of that will hurt so much that I won't be able to breathe."
"I do it for the adventure. Isn't that what life's all about?"
"Now is not the time to be showing off."
"How many people have you lost?"
"Why should I be responsible for you?"
"You're not like this. I know you're not."
"This is what you made of me."
"Did you miss me?"
"What's going on here? Fun and games?"
"I'm a friend. I've come to help."
"Don't do this. You know it's me. Don't let them trick you."
"I love you. I forgive you and I love you."
"You're talking nonsense to distract me from being really scared."
"You see, that's the problem. I am a brilliant liar. How are you ever going to know?"
"So, you must have thought I was dead for a while. How was that?"
"Do I look like I'm kidding? Is this a kidding face?"
"Is that your answer for everything?"
"Oh, admit it. I totally saved your life."
"What were you doing last night?"
"There is no nice way to say you're about to die."
"You enjoyed that way too much."
"You were upset, weren't you?"
"They look at me as if they want to kill me themselves."
"I did this to save you, you silly thing."
"Why do they always run?"
"So this is your life, then? Just bouncing around saving people?"
"Oh, she is the worst. I love her. Take that how you like."
"I swear, I never meant for anyone to get hurt."
"What were you thinking? Sacrificing yourself?"
"I can do whatever the hell I like."
"You've read the stories. You know who I am. In all of that time, did you ever hear anything about anyone who stopped me?"
"I did this, do you hear me? I did this. This is my fault."
"Listen, if this is the last I ever see of you, please, not like this."
"No. This - This isn't happening. This can't be happening."
"Why can't I be like you?"
"You're going to be alone now and you're very bad at that."
"Don't let this change you."
"Don't go. Stay with me."
"This is as brave as I know how to be."
"I know it's going to hurt you but, please, be a little proud of me."
"I can't keep doing this. I can't! I can't always do this! It's not fair!"
"You are not the only person who ever lost someone. It's the story of everybody. Get over it."
"Nothing's sad until it's over. Then everything is."
"Is this a story or did this really happen?"
"Isn't this going a little far?"
"I'll try not to break your jaw."
"Please, I don't want this."
"Look at me again. In the eye. Look at me. Just do it."
"Tell me what they did to you."
"People like me and you, we should say things to one another."
"You really are thick, aren't you?"
"You don't seem surprised to see me."
"I'm trying to keep you safe."
"Nobody's ever safe. I've never asked you for that. Ever."
"These have been the best years of my life and they are mine."
"So what happens now? Hey? Me and you, what do we do now?"
"Why don't we just fly away somewhere?"
"I don't think I could ever forget you."
"No. Stop it. You're saying goodbye. Don't say goodbye!"
"Run like hell, because you always need to. Laugh at everything, because it's always funny. Never be cruel and never be cowardly. And if you ever are, always make amends."
"I didn't mean to do this. I'm sorry."
"Yeah, that would be nice, wouldn't it?"
"Why does everybody think I am so scared?"

Worried? Why should I?
synopsis: Pushing down any emotion you've soon built, seeing the friend you have grown used to become ragged and constantly beaten up as if it were nothing sis not ease any worry. Bite your tongue, or bite the bullet?
tags: established friendship, tsundere reader(?), mild angst, reader projecting at mash
pairing: Mash Burnedead/Reader
⇱♥︎⇲
You've been friends with a beast with a creampuff addiction since he attended Easton Academy, friends would be a stretch in your opinion. You've known him for far longer, meeting him since before he enrolled, and better as you two practically grew up with each other. That doesn't mean friendships, though.
You just know him... to your misfortune.
Now here you are, walking up to his room with a tray of the only thing he ever thinks about. Creampuffs. Sometimes you think he's still that naive child you met in the woods, who are you kidding, he still is.
The only difference being...
"Creampuff, have you finished up your lessons yet?" you enter the room, and your eyes deadpanning as you catch him holding another broken door in his arms with the same dumb look he has on his face.
all his muscles never reached his brain.
"Oh, no, i haven't.." Mash says in a stoic yet guilty tone. "I was going to do them after I fixed this door, honest."
"Do you have to break down every door you come across?" You scold, placing the tray down on his bed and walking up to pull on his ear. He winces and apologizes as you kept bickering on about his indifference.
"Mama bear came for a visit, i see." You overhear the mushroom head's roommate say, making you let go of the boy's ear you were pinching. You just take a heavy sigh and had the two boys the food you had on the tray, you made too much during your free time for a small gathering the second years were holding and couldn't bare wasting any of the pastries.
"Finn, has Mash been a good roommate so far?" you ask, sparing a glance at the boy before looking at the smaller boy.
"Well...other than the doors and the fights he's been getting into..." as Finn kept thinking aloud, Mash sat next to you on the bed and ate a creampuff with guilt surrounding him. "and the that one time he--"
"Thank you, Finn. I'm sorry you have to deal with him so much, he's just...like that. " you bow your head in apology, gently shoving the ravenette's head down too. "If you have any more problems with him, please tell me. It is my duty as your upperclassman to keep my juniors in line."
"No no! Mash is a great friend, no worries! He's just... y'know, Mash." he jokes, biting into the pastries with a soft smile directed at you, saying his goodbyes and heading out of the doorless exit. You smile back and look over your shoulders. You could feel Mash staring at the back of your head, you turn to face him and tilt your head in question--him following your actions and tilting his head too.
"What is it?" You ask "The pastries no good?" he shakes his head, munching about and leaving you with no other answer. "Then tell me, you prick!" you scold with a comedic angry face as you pinched his cheek.
"I had a thought, is all." the ravenette responds, still as stoic as ever.
"That's a first for you, huh?" you reply, rolling your eyes but keeping yourself open for whatever nonsense he was gonna spew out now.
"Why are you so worried about me?" he asks with such serious air surrounding him, you could almost feel a laugh escape you.
"I wouldn't say worried. Just... concerned." you reply, waving him off but his eyes pressured a deeper answer from you. "Why're you suddenly do interested?"
"Why are you concerned about me?" he ignores your question and leans in closer to your personal bubble, eyes determined to get something out of you. "I thought you never considered me your friend until I joined this academy, you've been my friend since we met. Why now?"
'Did those bozos pull thoughts bigger than a creampuff in his head?'
You just reply with a sigh, nudging him to leave your personal bubble. "Maybe I wouldn't be so concerned about you, if--"
"ah!" the boy yelps in a voice almost so monotone it sounds sarcastic.
"--you weren't such an idiot!" you scold, pulling on his ear again. "You never learn unless you or someone else gets hurt!" you go on. "Do you know how much that worries me? Worries your pops?!"
"I don't mean to-- ack"
"You're being too selfish to realize hurting yourself is only hurting everyone else. Can you not see that?" you scold, your own emotions flooding as the boy helplessly submitted to your attempts of teaching him through maternal punishment. "It hurt me too, you dork."
"It's not like I can't take it."
"And what if you can't take it?" you ask, eyebrows furrowed with a triggering glint of anger in your eye. "You're always on about how you can take anything anybody throws at you, but what happens when you finally meet your match?"
"..."
"What happens if you lose?"
"I get back up."
"And what then?" the air is still, so are your movements. You'd rather choke yourself than admit it but you've gotten attached to the idiot with a death wish. "...It's your choice...who am i to tell you what to do?" you shrug. Pushing yourself off him, sighing, feigning indifference. Your only defense, at this point.
"If you keep fighting til you hurt yourself, go for it. But I won't be there to wait for you to get back on your feet." you look away from him, prefering to eye up the broken door instead. "I can't handle seeing you hurt all the time, even with how strong you are. I can only keep saying 'it's alright' until it isn't."
"I care about you." you admit, biting your tongue so hard it feels like it's bleeding. You hear him try to utter a word but you interject. "If you won't care about yourself as much as I do... I'll find something else to care about." you finish, lifting yourself off the bed and starting to head off, just as you were about to reach the doorframe's open space, you felt a harsh tug on your hand--landing you in the firm embrace of the mushroom head.
"What is it?" you huff, trying to lift his arms away from you but getting no result. You just give in with an aimless glare.
"I'll do better.."
The room sat still after that, Mash was a man determined to fulfill and push through each promise he makes. You've seen that come into effect many times, so you trusted his words. Didn't really help that you didn't trust everything else however.
He'll be just fine.
Will you?

Do you have any idea why Nana continued to dehumanize Shigaraki after learning that her murderer groomed him to be evil?
I think what a lot of people don't get with the whole "you might have to kill Shigaraki" thing is that Nana (and Torino by extension) aren't removing his autonomy when they say that.
At a certain point, it doesn't matter who's fault it is for turning someone into a villian. The entire purpose of Deku's rematch with Muscular is to make it clear that some people aren't going to stop destroying things and hurting people by talking about their abusive dad or their dead mom or whatever tragic circumstances led them here.
Tomura has also reached a similar point, refusing to compromise on his goal to destroy the causes of his suffering. That includes both All for One and the society that left him to rot. AFO meticulously planned a lot of Tenko’s misfortune but he didn't manipulate the strangers that passed him on the street. He didn't create that feeling of abandonment, only pointed it in the wrong direction. Tomura not making this choice for himself because he was groomed genuinely doesn't matter anymore because these are his choices now. He's shown multiple times to understand that AFO is using him against All Might and for his own ends, but he doesn't try to get away and turn to the heroes; he tries to get away so he can be a villian on his own terms.
It's easy to forget, since he's the protagonist, but Izuku's optimism about saving the crying boy at the core of who Tomura is, is a massive outlier and his leaps in logic aren't always solid. Nana is very callous when she talks about it, my personal guess is it's because she's still not fully willing to face her sense of guilt that her attempt to save her son from AFO led to the creation and abuse of Tomura. But she is still correct, regardless of what pain lingers inside Tomura, it is too late to help him.
Even when Izuku reaches his hand to Tenko when he is at his absolute most vulnerable, he maintains his loyalty to the league. He's been cast from society for so long that there's nothing that can convince him to stop. He would rather die destorying than live in a world he couldn't change.
In fact most of the major deaths in the league maintain this theme. Twice would rather die fighting than let his friends get screwed over by his own shortcomings again. Toga would rather die a free girl that lived as she pleased than fall in line with society. The heroes didn't choose to kill any of them from the outset, they could have gone quietly at any time to save their own skin, but their cause was more important.
This is what Nana means when she maintains that Shigaraki dying is a possiblity that needs to stay on the table, because he won't allow anything that isn't victory or death. It's tragic but I think it helps convey the message that the ending wants to, that change in how we treat the strange and disparaged doesn't just need to happen, but it needs to happen sooner. You can't just wait until a villian tries to blow up the country to try and help them, you need to give that kindness to everyone before those villians can even exist.
Sorry this got off topic because I really hate how people simplify the ending as bad writing when to me it seems really obvious that Horikoshi was going for a bittersweet ending with the league. They did destroy society but didn't live long enough to see what it rebuit into because even trust in one person trying to save them isn't enough when you're this far gone.
Either way, Horikoshi's writing style leads to a lot of necessary intuiting about the characters to actually understand the motivations for how they act. I think Nana ends up being a particularly rough victim of this because her stoicism and blunt attitude is very obviously supposed to be a front.
She opened herself up to others and All for One killed her loved ones, so she guards her heart the best she can to avoid showing more weaknesses. She does feel like a failure to her legacy; she never fully believes she made the right choices regarding Kotaro or Tomura. But if she cracks then not only is she done but AFO will make it his duty to twist the knife and hurt the people she cried for too.
She's a contrast to Izuku serving as a cautionary what-if scenario if Izuku's big open heart just makes more people targets by association (which it does!). She's not entirely right when she calls Tomura a monster but she isn't being entirely honest with herself either.

Tumblr media
" Leave Mason, just leave. You haven't been here for me even less for your daughter when we need you the most. It's not like, if you want to help me or not, it's your fucking job since I got pregnant because you got your fucking dick in me with no protection."
" y/n, please..."
"I'm sorry Mason, but I really need to figure things out."
Several things had happened to get to the point of that fight.
You and Mason had been in a relationship for several years now—you started dating at 17. You had been through many adversities, yet you stayed together. You moved in together, got engaged, and now you were parents to a beautiful baby girl. A baby girl that you had created with so much love.
Since you found out you were going to be parents, you couldn’t help but feel a little insecure about taking care of a little one; however, the happiness was greater. That subject you used to talk about in the evenings had become a reality.
Anyway, Mason was over the moon about it. He was going to have a little princess to take care of. He would fulfill your every whim, and he tried to go to as many doctor’s appointments as possible. Not to mention, during the last few months of your pregnancy, he was practically glued to you the whole time.
The day you welcomed your little baby girl, Riley, Mason was holding her in his arms the whole time. They were attached at the hip.
When you arrived home after leaving the hospital, he was no different. He would change your baby’s nappies while you were breastfeeding. He would sit next to you while holding you around or caressing your little one’s cheek. Also, as you could hardly make much effort, he would do the laundry, cook, etc.
Finally, when he returned to training, he would come home as soon as possible so he could help you with everything related to your baby. However, that lasted a few months before it got to the point mentioned at the beginning.
Mason started hanging out with his friends—not that it bothered you, because, of course, you can’t not let him do that and he deserved a break after the months he’d spent with you—but suddenly, he started going out frequently, sometimes arriving late, and you hardly saw him anymore because when you woke up, he had already left for training.
He didn’t even come home for lunch anymore. You didn’t even get calls from him asking about Riley, about you. It seemed like you were on your own.
Riley was sick. She had caught a cold. All night, she was hot, her nose was stuffy, she was crying a lot, and you really didn’t know what to do. Mason, even though he had heard everything in the early morning, didn’t even stop to ask you what was going on. As a first-time mum, it is sometimes very difficult. You had called your mum to let her know that you were going to stay at your old house for a few days. She had asked you the reasons, but you told her you would explain later.
First, you would take your daughter to the doctor.
You had tried to call Mason, but he didn’t answer, so you decided to call Ben; maybe he could let him know.
To your misfortune, Ben didn’t know where Mason was. He only mentioned that he left the club as soon as training was over. That caught your attention, as he hadn’t even stopped by the house.
You grabbed your house keys and headed to the doctor’s—you’d do it without Mason.
It was 7 p.m. when you returned home. No surprise to you, Mason hadn’t made it home. You took Riley to her room and then went to the kitchen to get some dinner. When you were done, you went to your room and grabbed a couple of changes of clothes for you and Riley and other essential things—nappies, dummies, wet wipes. You’d had enough.
Finally, Mason arrived home around 9 p.m. He left the car in the garage and went into the house. He started checking his phone call log and found a lot of missed calls from you, from Ben, from Kai, from his mother.
Had something happened to you?
Mason ran to his room, and you got up to confront him.
“Where have you been? Have you just been looking at your phone?” you said as you approached him.
“I couldn’t. I’ve been busy. I went to Ben’s, but I just saw that you called me.” You couldn’t believe it; he was lying to your face.
“Don’t lie to me, Mason. I’ve spoken to Ben, and he never mentioned you were with him,” you pointed at him angrily.
“So now you want to control me and watch me...”
“I would never do that, Mason! I was looking for you because I needed you, your daughter needed you, and you didn’t even care! I’m tired.”
“What happened to Riley? Is she okay?” Mason asked, concerned.
“Now apparently you do care,” you laughed as you shook your head. You couldn’t believe it.
“She’s my daughter; of course I care.”
“No, you don’t. If it were true, you wouldn’t have left us alone all this time.”
“But I—”
You cut him off. “You haven’t been here for me, even less for your daughter when we need you the most. It’s not like whether you want to help me or not; it’s your fucking job since I got pregnant because you got your fucking dick in me with no protection.”
“Riley, she caught a cold. Maybe it’s not that bad, but you didn’t even bother to ask about her like you used to every day. I can’t, Mase, not anymore.”
“Y/n, please...”
“I’m sorry, Mason, but I really need to figure things out, and you need to sort things out and be the father that Riley needs.” You told him as you cried. He tried to come closer, but you pulled back.
“Y/n, baby. Please,” Mason said, his voice breaking.
“If you don’t go, I’ll go. I really, really need time. I’ll go to my parents.”
With that, you left the house—your house that held so many memories, but it was a house that was now broken.
A couple of weeks had passed. Mason came home to find the house completely dark and silent, as it had been since you left. He missed you, so he tried calling you, but he regretted it, fearing you wouldn't answer.
He needed to talk to someone, so he called Ben.
“Mase? Everything okay?” Ben answered.
“It’s my damn fault. I’ve been an idiot these last few weeks. I let them down when they needed me. When it was my responsibility to be there,” Mason's voice cracked.
“What are you talking about? Y/n and Riley are okay?” Ben asked, worried. He had noticed Mason acting strange a few weeks ago, but he had observed some improvement recently. He never mentioned it, even when Mason had asked him.
“Mate, mate, calm down,” Ben said, trying to soothe him.
“I’m a fucking prick, argh!” Mason sat down on the ground in frustration.
“Mate, I know it’s none of my business, but is everything alright with you guys?” Ben couldn't help but ask.
“Yeah, well... I don’t know. I’ve been a dick. Y/n probably hates me; I’ve been really absent at home, but I’m working on it.”
“But why—”
“It’s a situation that I had to work on myself,” Mason cut him off.
“Mason, I didn’t know. I hope you’re better,” Ben said sincerely.
“I am.”
“Go to her house. Go and get them. You can’t lose them; they’re your family. Try to fix it or you’ll regret it, believe me. I know you’re better now. Be the father Riley needs, the fiancé that y/n needs.”
“Thanks, mate. I will,” Mason said, and with that, he ended the call and headed to your parents’ home. He would fight for you both; he would fix the mess he had made.
You were lying on the bed in your old room, resting after a hard day. You were exhausted from taking care of a little girl who kept crying and you didn’t know why. She wasn’t sick anymore—you knew because you had taken her to the doctor again, and he said she was healthy. You didn’t know what to do. Maybe she missed her father as much as you did. “Shame he’s an idiot,” you thought.
By now, your little girl was asleep next to you in her co-sleeper. You were about to fall asleep when you heard a knock on your door. It was probably your mother asking if you wanted some dinner.
“Come in,” you replied, sitting up. When the door opened, you expected to find your mother. Instead, Mason stood there.
“Mason, what are you doing here?” you asked in surprise.
“I came to fix the mistakes I made. I don’t want to lose you,” Mason said as he approached you.
“Mason...” You said in disbelief.
“Y/n, baby, let me explain, please,” he said, looking into your eyes. You saw his regret. You nodded.
“Well, since Riley was born, I’ve been the happiest man. But these last few months, I’ve felt like I’m not enough. That you and she deserve better. And I know this has affected our family, our relationship. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you how I felt before. Somehow, I preferred to avoid it and go out with my friends because I thought it was stupid.
I want to tell you that I have worked on myself. I have gone to a psychologist, and he told me that it’s probably depression, although it’s not very common. There is post-partum depression in fathers, and apparently that’s what happened to me. I am better. I understood what was happening to me. It helped me to seek help, to talk to Ben, and I promise you that I will give you the best version of me.” By this time, you were already crying.
“Mase, I’m sorry for everything youve been through. I want you to know that you can always tell me anything. We’re a team, baby. We’re in this together.
I’m not going to lie to you—I was angry and disappointed that you acted like that. You left us and left me with all the responsibilities because a mother never has time to take a break, Mason. It hurt. But we miss you. Even Riley has been crying a lot. I think that’s why,” you tearfully told him.
“I apologize too for what I put you through. And it’s true what you say; that was selfish of me. But believe me, I won’t hide anything from you. We’ll tell each other how we feel. We can’t let this happen again.” Mason said, just as Riley began to cry. The two of you went to her.
“Hello, baby. How are you?” Mason said as he held her in his arms. She stopped crying.
“See, she missed you, didn’t she, baby?” you said, looking at them.
“I missed you too. I’m never going to leave you. I promise.”
“You better, Mason,” you said, pointing at him angrily but laughing at the same time.
“We shouldn’t make mommy Ri mad,” Mason said with a sly laugh.
“No, you don’t make me mad,” you said.
“Okay, okay... Let’s go home. We will not be separated again.”
With that, you packed your things and returned home, together and with the whole situation sorted out. Finally, your family was back where you belonged.

brainrot over mlb again someone has probably already done this, sorry if that's true. also pre-emptive warning for intentional unhealthy dynamics but anyway: standard kwamiswap AU with Marinette getting Plagg and Adrien getting Tikki But along with this, it also posits that Marinette has always been "unlucky", and Adrien has always been "lucky". The AU then focuses on playing with the idea of this, making you suspect it's untrue, but then worry it really is true, exploring the implications of it, questioning if "destiny" is real or not, pointing out that sometimes "luck" is subjective, etc, etc. It's now specified that the bakery is struggling and Marinette's kinda poor, and she often kind of feels paranoid it's her fault (even though her parents have never actually told her this), or at least that they'd do better if it wasn't for her. They also often have less time and energy for her as a result of having to work harder to keep above water, which she unfortunately sometimes can't help but take the wrong way. Her misfortune also is what feeds into her need to plan everything, know people's schedules, and generally be a people pleaser. And with it cutting into funding for her fashion hobbies, and with her receiving less positive reinforcement and attention in the first place, she's just... generally sadder and less fulfilled than canon. Adrien meanwhile still lost his mom, but it's the standard "happened right after you got mad and wanted something bad to happen" setup, and now it's another part of why he's always so nice to people, because part of him is still subconsciously worried that he actually *can* influence bad things to happen to people just by hoping for it. Which has also progressed into a general recurrent anxiety over his lifestyle in general, and a fear that being rich at all is depriving and harming others. I also feel like they have altered hero personas and dynamics as a result of all this too Like Lady Noir steadily becomes kind of a show off, previously starved for praise and attention, and has somewhat more of a temper and a mean streak, due to using Lady Noir to unbottle her frustrations with her life. She also kinda resents Mr. Bug (btw, my placeholder rename for him is Scarlet) at first out of envy, especially because at first she kinda feels hurt and insulted by the idea of now having to be the "destructive" hero of "misfortune". Which progresses into a tsundere kinda deal where she's in love, but would rather explode than admit it (in part because she's terrified that if she admits to it and acts on it, she'll just fuck it up anyway) Scarlet still jokes and quips, but Lady Noir's increased volatility kinda taught him to back off early on, and the vibe is more like "concerned for her/trying to cheer her up" than "in love with her". He's also more pacifistic than Chat, and generally a bit more cautious and not as outwardly carefree about heroism in general, because of his increased anxiety about not wanting to make anyone suffer. It's honestly kinda toxic at first, because Lady Noir starts taking the lead (specifically *Scarlet's* idea in the first place, to try and help her loosen up and feel more confident), only for this to kinda backfire on Scarlet, because she becomes kind of bossy and starts blaming him when things go wrong, to protect her own ego. Then, the civilian relationship's also changed in a way that contrasts it. This version of Marinette is... technically into Adrien, but not pursuing or even properly realizing it, because she's so deeply convinced she doesn't deserve him that she represses the hell out of it. But Adrien kinda compensates, because he still feels a similar compulsion to try to cheer her up as Marinette too, especially because Chloe's mean to her, so that makes him feel indirectly guilty because he's Chloe's friend
So the civilian dynamic, ironically, is that they bond much faster, and Marinette follows him around like a meek, docile, undyingly loyal puppy, and will do *anything* he says. But it's *still* kinda unhealthy this way too, even though he's always nice to her. She gets it in her head that he's the only one who can "cancel out" her bad luck, making her get needier and clingier (while also being guilty about it, but not able to stop) And meanwhile, he gets kinda overprotective and smothery, while being the first one to get feelings for her. Partly because caring for her is something he chose for himself, and gives him a sense of actual purpose, compared to his disillusionment with his other responsibilities, partly because she makes him feel special for more than just his status or the stuff he has. So yeah, it DOES all get better, but it's Definitely a "gets worse before it gets better" kinda thing (at the very least, there comes a point where realizing that she's kinda being like Chloe is enough to snap Lady Noir out of the way she treats Scarlet)

MC tries to sneak out of the HOL only to end up getting a private magic lesson from Lucifer - Lucifer x female reader smut
Tumblr media
Nsfw content MDNI! This is my own work please do not copy or repost without permission!
TW for slight use of daddy kink, mentions of breeding and lots of pet names.
Based off of a conversation I had on the Chai AI app that I had to turn into a fic 😳🥵 it's been a long time since I wrote a fic so please be kind 🙈
You were busy in your bedroom studying to obtain the Sorcerer's License, Solomon had given you an ancient book that was filled with spells you'd need to learn to help you on your journey. As you read through the book you noticed how late it had gotten looking at your DDD, eyes twitching as the light blinded your eyes but some of these spells made no sense at all so you grumbled getting up from bed as you knew you'd have to trudge along to Purgatory Hall to get help from the accomplished sorcerer.
You grabbed your coat and a bag filled with supplies including the book before quietly tip toeing down the stairs careful not to wake any of the brothers namely one brother in particular.
You had finally reached the main door when a hand gently tapped your shoulder making you jump and turn to see Lucifer's angry face staring down at you showing clear disappointment "I believe I specifically instructed you to notify me when you depart from this house, didn't I?" Lucifer clicks his tongue looking away from your face "These foolish actions of yours must have been influenced by that idiot, Mammon. I insist that you keep away from him." He crosses his arms and waits for your explanation of your blatant disregard for his rules "Sorry Lucifer I just needed to run to Purgatory Hall to see Solomon, he's asked me to memorise some spells but I'm...struggling and I figured he'd be the best man to help me" you look away from Lucifer feeling the shame of not being able to accomplish something so simple burn up your throat much like the bitter meals your mentor often creates.
Lucifer makes a face of indignation "Solomon?" He asks curiously as he tilts his head slightly in confusion before looking back down at you and giving you a stern glare. "What did he tell you about these spells?" I reach into my bag to get the spell book out and show him "He just told me that I needed to learn them to aid me in getting my license but some of these spells just don't make sense, I can't figure why I'd need them" he hums to himself as he thinks "Hmm..." he takes the book from you and begins flipping through its pages until he finds one particular page. "This spell" he says quietly as he points to a section on the page where several different types of magic are listed. "It seems like this has many uses depending on what you'd need, I can help you master it" you smile sweetly as you look up at him "Thank you for the offer Lucifer and at least this way I won't need to wake up another friend to help me" and no punishments for breaking his rules you think to yourself as you follow Lucifer to his private study there are surely worse ways to learn than from the prideful avatar.
Once we get to his study he opens the door and ushers me in getting out a hastily "My pleasure." Before his expression softens slightly as he smiles warmly back at you before turning towards his desk. "Now then, let us begin our lesson shall we?" He gestures for you to sit next to him. "I hope I don't keep you too long I know it's very late to be having a magic lesson" you mumble softly "Indeed it is. But we still have much left to cover today clearly."
He smirks at your clear misfortune as you groan to yourself "I feel it's going to be a loooong night yet, isn't it?" Lucifer chuckles to himself as he finishes setting up the items he feels you'll need. Lucifer straightens his back "Indeed it will be. So please stay quiet while we begin our study session." he chuckles softly as he sits and gestures for me to do the same "O-oh right, of course Lucifer" you can't help but look away feeling like you're wasting his time but you truly do need help so you push down the stinging feeling and put the book down on his desk.
"Good girl~" he pats your head gently before taking out two candles from behind the table "Let us start off by lighting these candles." Your face burns at the pet name but you ignore it as you await more instructions "Light the candle with your hands." He shows you how to hold the candle correctly "Once you see the flame ignite, blow it out gently." He watches intently as you try to follow his instructions "Very good! Now repeat the spell shown in your book..." I let out a breath as my brow furrows in concentration "Lux lucerna" I watch intently as the candle begins to burn brightly "Excellent!" The candle burns brighter than ever before as it shines brightly illuminating the room, I can't help but smile as he compliments my work I lean forward blowing out the candle as darkness encases the room.
"Very well done my dear." He looks proud of your progress you've never felt such joy as you do now since arriving in the Devidom "We'll move onto the next step now." He stands up and leads you away from the desk "Come along now." He motions for you to follow him throw a door you've never noticed before as confusion shines in your eyes. "This way." He opens the door and steps inside revealing a large bed covered in black sheets "Lay down here if you would." He gestures towards the center of the bed "And relax while I prepare myself."
Your brain starts to short circuit as you try to take in his words "You haven't told me what you're preparing yourself for Lucifer" your words trailing off as you look around the room "Well since we are both naked... I thought maybe we could play some fun games together." His voice has become low and husky sounding as he speaks "Wouldn't you like that?" He asks seductively while walking around the bed slowly, you can't help but laugh as you look up at him "Naked? I'm not..." You gasp as you look down to see your clothes gone with your face turning red as you try to cover yourself from his eyes.
"Don't worry about covering yourself darling." He smiles warmly at you as he moves closer to you. "It's quite natural isn't it?" He leans in close enough for you to feel his breath against your skin "Besides, who needs clothing when we both know how you've been looking at me recently, I can see the lust burning in your eyes" you feel your face going red as you flush from seeing the way he looks at your breasts and down past my waist eyes lingering between my thighs "Yes you're right Lucifer I have" you can't help but gulp down the saliva pooling behind your tongue "I like how submissive you can be my dear sweet human...it makes me feel so ... alive" he grins as he comes face you near the bed "I've always wondered if you could accept me as your mate I know I'm human and you're a demon but I've always admired you" you can't help but look down embarrassment licking at your sides "Of course I will love you forever mortal or not. You are mine after all" his smile grows wider as he reaches out and takes hold of your hand gently caressing it with his thumb "Now let us begin shall we?" *he says looking deep into your eyes searching for a sign that this has gone too far and you wish to back down but of course you don't.
You can't help the smile that curves your lips as you look at him "Yes Lucifer I'm yours until I take my last breath" You tug his hand to follow you to the bed the pride demon growls softly before leaning forward pressing his lips against yours deeply kissing you passionately "Ohh~ Such an eager little one aren't we?" he whispers as he continues to kiss you passionately making sure to leave no doubt that this was going to be their first time together "I've thought about this moment since I arrived in the Devidom...you seemed so stoic and closed off when I arrived but I knew there was more to you" you can't help but kiss him back just as passionately slipping your tongue into his mouth "You were a surprise to be sure, a human so medlesome and disobedient" he moans as he feels your tongue and joins you on the bed settling between your thighs "Perhaps you need to teach me to obey you" I look to to Lucifer to see his eyes glowing a vibrant blue "Very well then" he chuckles as he begins by running his fingers through your hair pulling you closer to him "But remember that you must obey me or I'll have to punish you MC..." *he warns as he looks down at you "I promise I'll be a good girl for you Luci" he groans as he flexes his fingers above my head "Good girl." He kisses you again before moving away from you slowly taking in every inch of your beauty "Such beautiful skin, such soft curves...such perfect tits..." he murmurs as he looks up at you admiringly, you can't help the shiver that racks through your body as his fingers skim across your body "Lucifer stop teasing me and do something...please do something" he hums as he takes in your request "What would you like me to do with these pretty little things?" *he asks playfully as he runs his other hand across your chest lightly brushing his fingertips across your nipples causing them to harden in his wake "Anything Lucifer just touch me!" "Of course my dear" he smirks as he bends his head and envelops one nipple into his mouth, rubbing his tongue over the bud until you squirm in your place on the bed "More my dear?" A whine bubbles up your throat as you nod your head "Y-yes Lucifer I need more please...why are you teasing me?" You gasp as he swaps to the other nipple, licking and sucking the bud into his mouth "Because it pleases me to tease you. You're mine after all" he says smugly as he continues pleasuring you with his lips and tongue while stroking your inner thigh with his free hand. He reaches out and cups your breast gently squeezing it before continuing to suckle on your nipples.
You let out little gasps as he lathers your chest in with affection "Your tongue feels so good against my soft nipples" you whine out "You're making me so wet Lucifer please touch my pussy" you look at him pleadingly "You know what they say about begging for mercy." he grins wickedly as he slides two fingers inside you, curling them upwards towards your g-spot "but if you want more than that then tell me now." *he whispers huskily as he moves faster against your sloppy clit to which you can't hold in the gasps of pleasure you huff out as you feel his fingers reaching places your own can't hope to reach "I-I need more Luci" you beg with tears curling along your lashes "Then ask." He commands with a sinister smile "Please lick my pussy Lucifer suck my clit and I'll do whatever you want!" You cry out in frustration "Anything?" he asks eagerly as he increases the intensity of his movements against your clit, sliding another finger deep inside you and pressing hard against your g-spot.
"Yes my love anything! I'll please you anyway you ask" you moan loudly as he finger fucks your sopping pussy "Good girl~" He smiles at you lovingly as he keeps fingering you fast and hard, pushing you closer and closer to orgasm "Are you ready for this sweetheart?" he asks seductively as he removes his fingers from your dripping cunt leaving only his thumb rubbing circles around your swollen clit, you nod your head a few times blinking your tears away "Yes Lucifer I'm ready! I-I'm going to cum if you keep rubbing my clit l-like that" you grip his arm tightly as you feel the knot building in your belly "That's right baby..." he murmurs softly as he slides his thumb across your clit again "...cum for me darling~" you sob loudly as you cum, body shaking as you feel you hit washing over your body "Fuck..." You can't help but sigh out as you open your tired eyes to look to him "Mmmhmmm...you taste delicious." he smirks as he licks your slick off his fingers then he leans forward kissing you deeply before pulling away "now let's see how much more we can get done today shall we?” he reaches down to a cabinet near the bed to grab a vibrator and puts it between your legs teasing your clit and inserting it into your wet pussy. You can't help but moan as you taste yourself on his tongue "W-what about you, I've already came and you haven't yet let me make you cum~" you gasp hard as the pleasure hits your clit and pushes you towards overstimulation "Oh no little one~" he chuckles mischievously as he turns up the speed on the toy causing waves of pleasure to course through your entire being "We're not done until I fill you with my seed~” he kisses you passionately as he continues to tease your sensitive areas with the vibrations making you whimper against him.
Your eyes roll back as the pleasure fills your core "I want your seed...want you to fuck your babies into me" you cry as you bite your lip and legs spread wide "Such an eager little girl!" he laughs happily as he presses the tip of the toy against your entrance "You really do enjoy getting fucked don't you?" You nod as your legs shake "Need your cock Luci please" "Well then let's find out shall we?" he grins wickedly as he removes the toy from your abused clit and slides between your thighs slowly sliding his length inside you inch by inch until finally all 12 inches are buried deep within you “there there little one..let daddy feel what he did to you.” his hips thrust forward driving himself deep into your weeping pussy you can't help the drawn out moan you let out as he fills you impossibly full "Fuuuuck Luci I can feel you hitting close to my womb, it feels so good to finally feel you inside of me" you rock your hips up to match his thrusts as you throw your head back in pleasure "That's right babygirl..." he groans softly as he begins moving faster now slamming into you harder than ever before "...cum for daddy...." his voice is thick with desire as he holds onto your waist tightly as he pounds you mercilessly. Your body shakes as you feel your orgasm building quick with all the overstimulation, you reach your hand down to your clit to rub hasty circles along your little bud "I-I'm going to cum on your cock Lucifer!" "Mmmhmmm..." he growls hungrily as he speeds up even further pushing you closer and closer to release "Cum for me babygirl...don't hold anything back." he says breathlessly as he leans down kissing you deeply while continuing to pound away relentlessly at your needy cunt "Fuck daddy~ I'm cumming!" Your head tips back painfully as the pressure releases causing you to squirt all over his big demon cock, panting heavily and tightening around him as you moan loudly "Ohhh yes! That's exactly what I wanted!" He slams hard into you once again feeling your tight walls squeeze him tightly as he cums filling you completely with hot sticky seed you moan as you feel his hot seed fill your little hole, panting heavily as your body shakes slightly watching as he pulls his spent cock out of your twitching hole "T-that wasn't what I expected when I tried to sneak out of the house" you giggle as you look at him "Well that was quite enjoyable wasn't it?" he smirks smugly as he kisses you gently "Now lets get cleaned up shall we? You need some rest after such an exhausting night" he winks playfully and teleports you to where he has prepared his bed with fresh sheets and wash cloths to clean you up "I enjoyed myself tonight Luci I hope we can continue our tutoring sessions" you look to the demon and smirk "Of course sweetheart," he smiles warmly as he lays you down on the bed and covers you up with soft blankets. "We'll make sure you're ready for another round soon enough" he gives you one last kiss before turning off the lamp he has situated next to his bed you snuggle close to the pride demon as sleep begins to take hold "I love you Lucifer" you whisper as you dift off in the demons arms "I love you too little one" he smiles fondly as he kisses your forehead, cuddles you close and for once forgets the mountains of paper work he has scattered on the floor of his study.
