#I do not know anything about Greg because Im not interested in him but I think hes fine
I say that the vigilantes are always dying but tragically only 3 of them actually died were kind of light on actual horrible vigilante deaths. Dorian did also get a horrible vigilante fate in the form of being arrested. Have not read all of Pat yet Ill let everyone know if she gets a horrible vigilante fate.

Steven Universe X Reader
Platonic relationship between Steven and Reader<33
Steven Universe(not future) X Gem!Sister!Reader
Steven looked at garnet a bit pleadingly as he wanted to go on the mission with them! You looked over at steven and sighed before giggling and doing the same, even if you were allowed to go as You couldn’t get hurt badly like Steven could. Maybe yes you could off scratch your gem, you could off poofed. But you can come back, unlike steven.. he.. can’t. And you still wonder how did he find you as a sister when you both look nothing alike, maybe it’s because you look more human than the rest of the gems? You just don’t know but now greg is getting used to calling you daughter or something! It’s embarrassing.. Garnet’s voice snapped you out of your thoughts.
“As along as you both don’t get hurt.”
Garnet said as steven cheered, you were absolutely shocked before smiling and nodded along as Steven jumped up and down. Steven quickly turned to you, grabbing your hand gently and pulling you up the stairs to his room saying.
“You’re gonna help me pack!!”
“Oh.. Alright?..”
You sat down on his bed, Steven taught you all the words or really, putting on what Greg told him to you four. As steven takes out his burger backpack you remembered what to bring really but don’t remember where the other three put it.. They probably have it so you didn’t have to worry, you watched steven pack food, a weird yellow thing that was big and like a square but didn’t question it as he kept showing you each thing he was gonna bring. You nodded a bunch of times, well you and the gems didn’t need food but steven did.. it was weird but Amethyst got into it quickly since you been with the Crystal gems. Which was awhile as you were there since Steven was just a baby and knew about rose, met her only once and thats when she introduced you to the Crystal gems. She was mainly interested about how you were the first gem she found on the planet earth, in reality.. you were left here in the war, getting poofed and stayed like that until everything was over, you yourself was shocked that you survived.
You turned around, before standing up. Steven was running downstairs to create his own sandwiches, he always said they were good but you couldn’t even find it in you to try out them at all, You walked downstairs lile steven did but you were trying to be completely clearful as well so you couldn’t fall at all.
“Ima go check on the gems!”
You said before going into the homeroom for your gem and trying to find the basement, you already know that they are probably talking about this in garnet’s room. Sorta forgetting that you had to go through the heart of the gems room to get to hers, you gotten through everything as the gems were there, pearl yelling about how dangerous this is for steven while Amethyst saying that it’s probably alright for him. As Garnet was in the middle, sighing.
“He shouldn’t be allowed! This is probably more dangerous than any of our missions Garnet!”
“He has learnt his weapon! He’s alright pearl!”
Garnet hasnt said anything as the both of them went on and on until you spoke up.
“It is dangerous but he just now has been getting into his gem powers and he is excited to do this, he should be allowed so. Im going for Amethyst’s side for this one.”
Saying that they both looked at you, Amethyst smiling as pearl groaned. Yes she cared about steven but it was like she was a mother hen..
“Saying that, He’s allowed as along as he follows us.”
Garnet said, You smiled up at her before cheering a bit as Amethyst did a little "Yes!" Pearl sighed knowing that she couldn’t say much, you were glad your broth-.. yea.. brother was allowed to come with you, you hoped as that.. There was gonna be more to come.
——————————————————————————————————————————————————
AAA, i had to cut this short because god yall, it’s a have been waiting for this one!! But anyways, 4 more stuff to go<33 lets go!!! This is gonna be fun, totally. Thank you all for waiting<3 now ahem!! Happy new years!! Soon to be my birthday as well, 8 or so more days!!

I live reacted to my first watch of Succession by writing in my notes app. Here is season 1
Very impressed with S1E7 “Austerlitz”, liked how much it felt like S2 of The Bear. Also, “It is the only episode of the series in which Nicholas Braun does not appear as Greg Hirsch.”
As of episode nine, I think Shiv, Kendall, AND Tom now have all said “knocked it out of the park” about themselves (Shiv and Kendall) or someone else (Tom)
When tom first meets Nate and confronts shiv about it, he’s not really interested in whether or not she fucked him. Tom just wants to know if she loves him. she says it’s real, she needs him, and its never discussed.
Roman calling shiv “too fucking carbon-neutral”
he also called shiv and tom “firecrotch and normcore"
ROMAN JUST WATCHED. THE ROCKET HE HELPED LAUNCH FUCKING EXPLODE IN A HORRIBLE ACCIDENT
I genuinely believe succession is and should be regarded as on par with breaking bad. EXTREMELY EQUAL to breaking bad, BETTER IF YOU SQUINT
I noticed every time roman would slip his satellite launch into conversation and vaguely wondered how that was gonna METAPHORICALLY blow up, I thought it would just be like an event they hosted to talk to each other at. Im genuinely shocked.
Oh my god shiv was arguing with roman because she didn’t want a “giant dick” at her wedding. And it blew up. The dick. Blew up.
Roman, in his wedding toast to his sister: I don’t feel anything. It’s a mental disorder, it’s called Borderline Personality Disorder.
Shiv having this discussion with her brothers IN HER GODDAMN WEDDING DRESS
Kendall just called greg “you little Machiavellian fuck”
I think Tom is Shiv’s fatal flaw
“But I do love you”
“I love you too! Fuck! Fuck!”
Kendall being the addict instead of Roman

Tumblr media
You were watching tv, no clue what just happened in the house down the street, when there was a knock on the door.
You got up, groaning. Who would be here this late?
You opened the door, somewhat annoyed, until you saw that it was... Greg?
It was Greg, the young boy from down the street, with tears in his eyes.
You immediately wrapped an arm around him, leading him inside, “Woah, kid, what’s wrong?”
As the two of you sat back down on the couch, he choked out an answer, “R-Rodrick.”
“What did he do this time? Want me to beat his ass for you?"
A small smile crossed your face when you were able to make the boy chuckle.
He explained that him and Rodrick had a great night together but things went bad once they got home. He said that their parents found the pictures from the party last week, which you had attended, and both the boys got it trouble. But that wasn't why Greg was crying. He was crying because Rodrick was disappointed in him and said some hurtful things.
You didn't push any further. Greg was a tough kid, most of the time, so whatever Rodrick said must've been really bad.
"Wait," you said after a few minutes, "Do your parents know you're here?"
"N-no. I snuck out."
"Greg, you can't do that," you said sternly. You weren't angry, just worried.
"You and Rodrick both sneak out all the time," He tried to reason.
"That's different. We're both old enough to take care of ourselves. No offense, but you're still just a kid. If your parents find out they're gonna be worried sick."
"Can I just stay for a while longer? Please? Besides if they find out I'm gone, they'll probably check here first."
It was true. Greg and Rowley would come to your house sometimes, just to have a different place to hang out. Your parents were away a lot of the time so it worked out.
You were Greg's babysitter when he was in 5th and 6th grade. Ms. Heffley knew you were a responsible kid and she didn't exactly want Rodrick in charge. Now he's in 7th and he's trusted a bit more so you didn't have to take care of him anymore. During that time was when you and Greg got close. The two of you became friends.
You had gotten pretty close with Rodrick too. Especially since you had a lot of the same classes in school. The two of you had similar interests so you would hang out sometimes.
Of course, you couldn't say no to Greg.
You two sat and watched whatever he wanted to watch. You told him that he could have whatever he wanted from the kitchen, it didn't matter. He immediately searched for ice cream, making you laugh.
Soon there was another knock on the door. This time you looked out the peep hole.
"It's Rodrick," you whispered to Greg.
"I'm not here!" He whispered back, running up the stairs.
You waited until he was all the way upstairs, before you opened the door, "Rodrick? Hey, what's up?"
He looked back at you with panicked eyes, "(Y/n), you gotta helped me."
You ushered him in, just as you had done with his younger brother not long ago, and you two sat down. "Of course, what is it?"
"Well I- me and Greg got into a fight I guess? I said some stuff I shouldn't have. I- Fuck, (Y/n), I messed up... I took it too far."
You gently put a hand on his knee, "Hey, relax. You're okay. What do you mean you took it too far?"
"I told him that... I said 'you might be my brother, but you'll never be my friend'. W-We got in trouble for something and I got mad at him. Obviously I don't mean it, i-it just kinda slipped out."
"Okay, well, we both how Greg is. I'm sure he'll understand if you just tell him and apologize. You two will be fine," you offered him a soft smile.
To your surprise, he shook his head.
"That's not what I need your help with."
"Oh," was all you could say.
"I went to check on him a while ago because he's never been in this much trouble, I wanted to make sure he was okay. Mom and Dad were already asleep. I- I went into his room and... and he was gone. (Y/n), I don't know what to do."
You pulled him into a hug, him quickly latching onto you. You gently ran your fingers through his hair. "It's okay Rodrick. I'll help you find him."
Of course, you knew where he was. But you wouldn't give away Greg's spot if he didn't want you too.
Rodrick looked up at you, "You will?"
"Of course, let me get a jacket and we'll go."
You went up the stairs and into your room, where Greg was sitting on your bed.
"Dude, he-"
"I heard all of it. I understand."
"Oh good," you said, waking to your closet to get a jacket, "So, do you forgive him?"
"Of course, he's my brother," The two of you smiled.
As you pulled on your jacket, you asked, "Well what do you wanna do? He's ready to go searching for you."
"Maybe you two can drive around for a while and come back, and i'll just be on the sidewalk around here? I don't know, I just don't him to get at you for lying." He suggested.
You thought about it, nodding.
"Okay... but be careful, alright? Stay in here for like 15 minutes, then you can go out."
You went back downstairs and grabbed your keys. Rodrick followed you out and into your car.
"He couldn't have gone far, right?" He asked, bouncing his knee up and down.
"Nah, i'm sure he stayed close. Lets just check the neighborhood, yeah?" You said.
You drove around, one hand on the steering wheel and the other on the center console where Rodrick was holding it tightly.
--
"H-he can't be gone. (Y/n), he can't!"
Of course, you haven't "found" Greg yet. Rodrick was freaking out.
You pulled over and pressed a soft kiss to his knuckles, his hand still in yours.
"Hey, Rod, it's okay. We'll find him, I promise."
Rodrick shook his head, his eyes becoming glossy. You felt bad for letting him believe Greg was really gone for so long, but you told Greg you'd stick with his plan. And you were true to your word.
"What if we don't?" His voice cracked.
"We will, I promise. But it's getting late and you should rest. We'll go looking for him first thing in the morning. I bet you he probably went to Rowley's house."
"Yeah... yeah, that makes sense," Rodrick nodded. "Thank you."
"You know I'd do anything for you. For Greg, too. I love that kid."
Rodrick smiled, hearing you speak so fondly of his younger brother. In that moment, he knew everything would work out.
You started driving back to the cul-de-sac you guys lived on. Rodrick leaned his head against the window and started to dose off, his hand still holding yours tightly.
Then you saw it. Greg walking on the sidewalk, just like he said he would.
"Rodrick! Dude!" You shook him awake.
"Huh? What?" He woke up, startled.
"Look!" You pointed over to Greg while pulling over.
Rodrick saw him and as soon as you stopped the car, he opened the door and stumbled out.
"Greg!" He called out to his younger brother.
Before Greg could even turn around, Rodrick had him engulfed in a hug. The display of affection obviously took Greg by surprised.
"Don't ever do that again," Rodrick paused, trying to come up with some sort of insult, "... dumbass."
"I won't, I promise."
You watched as the two brothers smiled at each other. A rare occurrence for sure, but a nice one.
Rodrick lightly pushed Greg towards the car and they both got in.
"Hey (Y/n)." Greg said from the back seat.
"Hey, kid, glad you're safe," You smiled back at him.
"Yeah."
"Had this guy close to bursting into tears," You snickered, gesturing towards Rodrick and trying to lighten the mood.
"Don't tell him that!" Rodrick mumbled as he nudged your arm. This only made you and Greg giggle more.
You saw a smile form on Rodrick's lips, despite him trying to hide it. Laughter was, indeed, contagious.
You poked his cheek, making him chuckle.
You started to drive towards the Heffley house, the mood in the car now light and playful. You pulled into their driveway and unlocked the doors.
"Go inside, twerp. I'll catch up." Rodrick said.
"Okay," Greg smiled, getting out and heading towards the door.
"(Y/n)... thank you." Rodrick said, his voice softer as he looked down at his shoes.
"For what?"
"I dunno, everything. I mean, who would get up in the middle of the night and help some loser look for their little brother?"
"Oh c'mon, Rodrick. I'd go to the ends of the earth for you or that kid. It's no big deal, really." You said.
"It is to me. Thank you," He finally looked up at you, and you could see the sincerity in his eyes.
"Anytime."
"Can I- um... can I try something?" He asked. His eyes darted away from you for a split second.
"Well, uh, yeah. Sure." You said, curious to as what wants to do.
Suddenly, Rodrick put his hand on your cheek and leaned in. You felt his lips press against yours softly and closed your eyes. The kiss lasted only a little bit, but it felt much longer.
You couldn’t lie. It felt amazing. Kissing Rodrick just felt so... right. It’s like your lips were made for each other.
He pulled back a little and you smiled, laughing softly.
"Is- Is that a good thing?" He asked.
"I dunno, you tell me."
You leaned in and kissed him again. He was quick to kiss back. Eventually you leaned back.
"You should get inside," Another kiss, "Don't want you getting in more trouble."
Rodrick's usual confidence came back and he smirked, "If it's for you, it's worth it."
"Shut up!" You laughed.
He chuckled and pecked your cheek, before walking to the door.
As you pulled into your own driveway, you smiled.
Your relationship with Rodrick Heffley had changed tonight. But you know it had changed for the better.

no tomgreg thoughts myself but im curious about any hcs/thoughts you have for them that you might wanna share :) (rambling appreciated, i love reading stuff about these dudes)
Hmmm let’s see. I really wanna talk about Greg being touch starved (and generally starved for any sort of affection at all)
It’s hard to say whether Marianne was a physically affectionate mom since we’ve never seen them together. If she’s anything like her father though the. I doubt physical affection was common. She’s described as feeling far away (I’m not sure if they meant literally or in general) so I don’t think his childhood was the warmest.
Ewan as we know is not at all responsive to Greg’s attempts at affection. He stops him from hugging a few times and waves him off I think (at least once). He doesn’t respond to most of the sentimental stuff Greg says (including “I love you!”) which to be fair could be because he thinks Greg is being a suck up (and he often is being a suck up totally but also he does genuinely love his grandfather and want a connection with him according to Nic but there simply isn’t one. Ewan is incapable)
The rest of the Roys are about as receptive to physical affection as Ewan is, meaning not at all.
It kinda makes my heart ache to see Greg keep trying to hug his cousins and they just..don’t respond or in Roman’s case straight up push him away. He’s trying to offer affection but as we know they aren’t capable of receiving or giving affection in a normal way.
Kendall is the most receptive to Greg’s affection out of the Roys. Well..he was. He gives Greg a pat on the back when he gives him a one armed hug at Tom’s bachelor party. He puts his hand on Greg’s shoulder and fixes his tie affectionately.
When Greg gives him a full hug at the apartment however he just stands there awkwardly. He doesn’t..push him off but he doesn’t respond.
So my boy just isn’t getting affection in any sense but he needs it. it’s no wonder Greg goes to get hair cuts just to feel someone touches
Now onto Tom who as we know touches Greg all the time. However it’s not quite..all fluffy there: Tom has physically attacked him two occasions lmao so you can see Greg literally flinch in a few scenes when Tom moves to touch him which is actually kind of sad .
At the same time he looks absolutely delighted when it ends up being an affectionate touch (don’t even get me started on how happy he gets at the slightest praise. He’s like a dog 😭)
Tumblr media
When Tom isn’t being violent Greg is usually quite receptive to it and it’s no wonder. He’s touch starved and Tom is very touchy (only seems to be this way with Greg and Shiv tho which is interesting. Shiv tends to move away from him too)
But what’s interesting is how in s3 Greg seems to touch Tom back more than ever. It’s usually a hand on his shoulder but there’s a few scenes where he touches his arm.
(Never over how the second gif here looks like they’re kissing. Like holy scene framing Batman..also obsessed with Greg’s hand in the second one too the way he kinda grasps his jacket, slides his hand down his arm.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We also have the forehead kiss of course. Tom’s little hand squeeze after Boar on the floor.
And course this all builds up to their hug in the finale. Which despite the bro pat is kind of really intimate somehow
But it’s the first and only reciprocal Greg hug in the whole show
And I just can’t get over it. How they shake hands but it’s like it’s not enough for either of them and they both move to hug at the same time.
And something about the way Greg kinda tucks his head in Tom’s shoulder is so sweet to me.
And then at the end Greg seemingly does not want to stop touching him. He’s the last to let go and he lingers before doing so.
Tom also brushes his hand down Greg’s side there
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And I just know if they ever got together Greg would be all over him when he realizes he can be and knows Tom will respond positively. Tom would be absolutely enamored with how responsive he is to every little touch.
Greg getting oddly emotional (and Greg actually is quite hard to read a lot of the time so it would be a noticeable thing) because he’s not used to so much physical affection and it’s overwhelming (in a good way) and he can’t seem to stop touching him. He avoids in it in public tho obviously but it’s difficult and he has to make sure it’s all just friend-like touching.
But when they’re alone he’s all over him and Tom might make a show of being exasperated sometimes as a joke but he fucking loves it. He loves feeling needed. So he’s happy to give his boy what he needs.
Mostly Greg likes it because for once in his life he feels wanted and well..loved.

a disjointed rant about my young justice season 4 theories
bc i have nowhere else to put them (THIS BECAME A MONSTER RANT, So sorry but i needed a space for this lol and there is a tdlr at the end if you are even interested)!
also this is mostly about artemis and dick and also jade and jason by extension.
spoilers for the trailer and first two eps below!
i was, of course, if you keep an eye on any of my content, which is probably 2 of you, disappointed to see no sign of dick or tim and maybe that ninja was jason (?) and that was cassandra fighting lady shiva, which fuck yes, i hope the show gives cassandra some screen time this season!
but i actually wanted to talk about artemis and dick specifically. They are my favorite characters consistently in the main team, followed closely by wally and kaldur and zatanna (and okay yes thats most of them, actually i love all of them). i would ofc love to see artemis have some happiness for once in her life, but if they are going to give her mostly angst im glad they are exploring what looks like an anti-hero path and her relationship with her sister Jade. Which again, if you know me, you know fictional complex sibling relationships are my LIFEBLOOD.
which brings me to the second thing that popped out the most to me: i fucking love jason todd and dick grayson and their relationship and i have always been very curious as to how the yj universe changes would change that dynamic. What i mean by that is greg weisman (which if you’ve gotten this far you probably know he is one of the main producers of the show) said in one of the questions on his q&a website way back in s2 that he and the writers didn’t see a reason for bruce and dick to have a major falling out re his transition from robin to nightwing, and that they wanted them to have bruce support dick and continue to have a healthier relationship than is portrayed elsewhere. i am all for this, we love to see it, but that rift is what creates the distance between jason and dick pre jason’s death. dick didn’t live in the manor when jason did, he wasn’t there when jason became robin, so how would this change in yj, especially when it comes to their relationship? A lot of people have discussed and made fanfic regarding this ofc, but this would probably mean dick and jason lived in the manor together while he was alive? that dick would’ve been a part of, or at least present when jason becomes robin (if it was done right)? So how much closer were and are they? We see hints of dick’s grief for jason and dick is definitely a lot more somber and mature so to speak after the s1 time skip, so you could theorize that they were closer, which i hope is the case.
All that to say that because of all this i have been so looking forward to seeing jason’s return and possible reveal beyond what we saw in season 3. since season 4 is more character focused (along the lines of season 1) i know that a lot of the other characters outside of the core 7 from the original team are going to be through the core 7′s storylines rather than so much of stuffing a ton of storylines in at once. I did enjoy seasons 2 and 3 of course, but not as much as season 1, which i love very deeply, so this is exciting. I’m hoping this means we will be seeing a lot of the bat family characters with meaningful screen time through dick’s storyline and that dick’s story is going to have a lot to do with jason and everything surrounding that. I know there are other programs out there and other ways the red hood storyline has been done but i am still anxious to see yj’s take on it. Given the amount people that have discussed jason in yj in the fandom, even since his small appearance and the nods to him in s2, i know the writer’s and creator’s are aware there would be a lot riding on this if they took this path. i also think that’s probably why they didn’t show dick, because they don’t want to give anything away, so even though i was disappointed, it also piques my interest.
SO SORRY THIS IS SO LONG I HAVE SO MANY THOUGHTS AB THIS SPECIFICALLY. but this is all circling back to make a larger point I PROMISE. As someone’s whose favorite episode is Homefront (season 1 episode 12) which, if you don’t know or remember, that is the artemis and dick co-centric episode that really showed how dick thinks and how capable he is and the weight of being a sidekick who has done this for so long and being the first one. it also shows artemis’ vulnerability in this beautiful way and explores her relationship with jade and her past and they both kind of grow through each other and their similarities as non-powered members of the team who were traumatized so young, i think in a different way, than the other team members. I really loved this episode because i love the two characters individually. I love both of their relationships with wally, and i like their relationships with zatanna too, but that is kind of neither here nor there. I also really love their relationship as friends, and the potential i think it has, esp. because i think young justice could go a lot further with it. I have been alluding to this but i think dick and artemis are so similar in ways that are so interesting story wise: they are both very capable, highly trained, non powered individuals who have been using that training one way or another since they were 9 years old, which as far as i know, is younger than the rest of the team. they both started this due to heavy family traumas that while different, manifest similarly as compared to the rest of the team. re; they are both more secretive, hide a lot more of their emotions, etc. they were also both the closest people to wally his age and they both lost him. Like there’s just so much shared stuff there and i want to see that explored more. I know they had a good amount of screentime together last season, but a lot of it was plot frst, and not necessarily focusing on their dynamic, and as a character study whore i want more deep scenes between them.
Now we are getting even CLOSER to my main point (jesus i need a life). i think one of the last and biggest things they share is the complicated sibling relationships they have and are going to have in the show.  I think it would be so interesting to see artemis struggling and working through her past, particularly when it comes to jade in parallel with a storyline about dick dealing with jason, his resurrection and his kind of murderer to anti hero journey. I think artemis and dick would be great for each other during this as friends who, to some degree, understand what the other is going through. Especially because I think jade and jason are so similar. i think this will also be interesting for Will and Roy, but that is a different, though very related, rant. When I saw artemis in the trailer and saw the emphasis on her struggles and jade i found myself hoping that the show makes enough space to show the complex relationship jade and artemis have, in a way they have done to a degree in the past, and i think they could do even more of. In terms of dick and jason, i think IF they are closer in the yj universe (i might be blowing this out of proportion as huge fans of both these characters so that’s okay) then a redhood esque storyline would pack even more angst and even though that would hurt it is also what i want to seee !!!!! so that an antihero redemption is just that much juicier. I think what other red hood storyline adaptations have lacked a little bit, especially when they heavily involve dick, is not focusing on the character/relationship angst and the love they could have for one another as brothers and dick’s grief for jason and meaningfully exploring jason feeling all his resurrection feelings, but focusing more on the plot of redhood with their relationship as an aside. I’m hoping that given the nature of this season, and the things they’ve done with artemis and jade, that they will shed light and focus on dick and jason’s relationship in the yj universe and that they give us some sort of beautiful emotional reunion or reveal scene (i know this might be a lot to be asking for but hey it is my dream here). Not to mention that if they are going to heavily mention wally or pursue bringing him back, focusing on dick and artemis’ friendship, and letting them at least discuss these things together, would be even more necessary.
I had even more thoughts about this after watching the first two episodes of sesaon 4 that showed both M’Gann and M’Comm’s relationship and M’Gann and Gar’s. Again, we love a good complex platonic relationship! Familial angst that has an undercurrent of immense love and at least previous closeness! Let’s see where this season goes, I’m cautiously optimistic and also just generally very excited to have the show back!
TLDR: I am excited to see artemis’ past and relationship with jade explored, and i hope that yj is paralelling this with dick and jason’s return and that they focus on the sibling love, resulting situational angst, and eventual (though maybe not this season) closure and/or redemption to some degree. i hope that through this, artemis and dick’s friendship has emotional development that is shown more explicitly on screen. i am very excited ab this possibility and have been waiting a long time so we shall see!!
ALSO PS: I have written large portions of what could be one long one shot or a series that served as a character study of sorts that explored dick and artemis, respectively, and as friends. it gives pieces of season 1, explores the 5 year gap, and then season 2 and after (up until s3). it focuses a lot on their shared trauma, their respective relationships and grief over wally and jason, and also heavily features zatanna. I have not finished it and I only work on it for me when i have an idea that needs. to be written, but i would consider posting it. but i dont know if anyone would be interested? esp if the show does it to some degree? anyways if you even started to read this let alone made it here i’m floored. thanks

Love confession prompt: “We need to stop dancing around it. All it does, is hurting us both!”
Dear Anon, thank you for the prompt. I am sorry it took so long, but the story got away from me. I hope you enjoy it!
It was only ever you on AO3
Summary: Five times Michael tried to interfere with Alex's love life and one time he didn't have to.
Yet another Malex getting back together story that includes a Forlex breakup, a brief positive mention of Miluca, some OCs that appear briefly. It is not S3 compliant.
Huge thank you to @im-the-punk-who for amazing beta work that not only made this a much better story, but also saved everyone from my repetitive sentence structure. All remaining mistakes are mine.

“You should take Forrest,” Michael tells Alex, handing him a flyer as they finish up yet another night of trying to figure out what Jones had been up to before he’d been sealed in that cave. “I mean there aren’t any Nazi’s, but it’s the right time period.”
Alex studies the advertisement for an exhibit on the role of Navajo Code Talkers in WWII featuring an opening night presentation by the grandson of one the original Code Talkers. It’s at the closest UNM branch, only about an hour outside of Roswell.
“Thanks?” Alex isn’t sure what Michael’s intent is.
“Come on, I can be thoughtful,” Michael responds playfully, bumping Alex’s shoulder as they exit the bunker.
“Sometimes,” Alex concedes, knowing how true it is. As the mysteries surrounding Jones multiply, Michael has been the voice of reason with his sibling - handling Max’s mood swings as he deals with losing Liz and discovering a possibly evil version of himself without reacting to them, supporting Isobel when she feels overwhelmed with Max’s issues. Alex considers himself lucky if Michael wants to extend his thoughtfulness to him.
Michael is right, Forrest is thrilled when Alex asks him about going to the opening night of the exhibit. He takes notes during the presentation and carefully studies each piece in the exhibit, filling Alex in when there is overlap in the research he’s been doing.
Alex follows along quietly. He’s almost overwhelmed by the amount of information, things he knows should already be familiar to him. Alex can’t help thinking about the family and history he’d lost when his mother left and he’s never been brave enough to reclaim. Part of him wishes he were here with Greg, and he wonders if Greg would come another night if Alex asked him.
“Are you ok?” Forrest asks, placing his hand on Alex’s arm to get his attention.
Alex attempts a smile, “It’s just there is so much information, and I wish it wasn’t all new to me. It makes me realize how much I’ve let that part of my heritage go. I was thinking about Greg, whether all this would feel familiar to him now. If he feels like a part of it now.”
“Is he the one who told you about this?”
“No,” Alex corrects him, although it is a logical assumption. “Michael gave me the flyer; he thought you might be interested in coming.”
“Alien guy,” Forrest brightens as he makes the connection.
Alex tried to hold back his smile at the nickname, but something must show on his face because Forrest’s expression dims.
“Oh,” he says softly. “Alien guy is also Song guy.”
There is no reason to deny it so Alex remains silent. He thinks about trying to explain, considers telling Forrest that he and Michael haven’t been together in years, but it’s not the whole truth, and he’s never been able to explain his relationship with Michael, even to himself. It feels wrong to even try, standing here surrounded by reminders of the courage and sacrifice of his ancestors when he’s never managed to find a way to talk about the man he’s loved for almost half his life.
“I guess we have more in common than just a love of the microfiche,” Forrest tries to joke, but it falls flat and they both know there isn’t anything left to say.
They leave shortly after and the ride home is long and silent. When Alex pulls into Forrest’s driveway, their relief is palpable, and they say goodbye quickly without an attempt at a kiss. It’s easier than it should be to let Forrest go. Alex enjoyed their dates, they’d made out a lot, even got each other off a few times, and while it wasn’t serious, Alex had thought it had the potential to be. But one mention of Michael, and he realizes he isn’t as ready to move on as he wants to be.
He doesn’t see Forrest again until the next open mic night a few weeks later. Even though he isn’t performing Alex is happy to support Maria and the event as an audience member. Forrest is the last performer before intermission, and he recites his poem without once looking at Alex. When he finishes, Alex claps politely before going to the bar for another drink.
Max is too busy to make much conversation so Alex doesn’t linger. On the way back to his table, he sees Michael and Forrest talking off to the side of the stage. Michael is speaking intently, leaning in with one hand on Forrest’s arm and the other gesturing around the bar. From what Alex can see Forrest is just listening; watching Michael with a combination of amusement and resignation.
Alex reminds himself that it’s none of his business and forces himself to continue back towards his table. He’s too far away to hear what Michael is saying anyway. A few minutes later, Michael sits heavily in the chair next to him, frustration evident on his face.
“What’s wrong?” Alex asks.
“Nothing,” Michael snaps before looking away and visibly forcing himself to relax. “Sorry, it’s just there’s a problem with the equipment I thought I had worked out-” he pauses to glare at Forrest, “but apparently I need to find another solution.”
Everything seems to be working just fine as far as Alex can tell, and Michael doesn’t seem to be in the mood to talk about it so Alex lets it go and focuses on bracing himself for the sheer volume of Bert’s upcoming performance.
2.
“I was hoping you could do me a favor,” Michael says as he steps out of the airstream and hands Alex another beer.
Max had left about ten minutes ago, and Alex had considered heading home as well, but Michael had offered another round of drinks so he stayed. “Sure,” he replies, figuring there is nothing Michael would ask for that he would refuse.
“You know those online classes I’ve been taking?” Michael pauses long enough for Alex to nod. “One of my professors mentioned his laptop got some crazy virus and the school’s IT department couldn’t fix it. I may have told him I knew someone who could look at it.”
“That’s fine,” Alex agrees. “Just set something up and let me know. You know my schedule.”
“Thanks, maybe this will get me some bonus points.”
Alex rolls his eyes even though Michael isn’t looking at him. “Considering how often you remind me that you’re a genius, I don’t think you need any help with your grade, but I’ll try not to make it worse.”
“I guess I’ll have to trust you to have my back,” Michael teases. “Unlike Sanders who I swear is trying to ruin my life.”
“What did he do now?” Alex asks as he settles more comfortably into his chair. He knows from experience he could be here a while once Michael gets going about Sanders.
“He doesn’t listen for one. There’s this form we have to fill out when we take a car in for service. A form he had long before I started working there I might add. If I forget one little check box I never hear the end of it. Do you know what he does when he takes a car in?” Michael leans forward as he gets into the story.
“No, but I guess you’ll tell me.”
“He sticks a note on it that says ‘fix me.’ A note, Alex, not even a sticky note, just a ripped off piece of an old yellow legal pad he actually tapes to the windshield,” Michael throws his hands up in the air. “What am I supposed to do with that?”
“Fix it,” Alex replies, laughing when Michael sputters indignantly. For all Michael’s complaining, Alex can hear the warmth in his voice when he talks about Sanders now. Michael’s always been loyal to Sanders, but Alex doesn’t think he ever understood that those feelings were returned until he learned about Sander’s connection to his mother and his reasons for helping Michael.
“You’re as bad as he is, thinking I can read minds and figure out what’s wrong with it. That’s Isobel’s deal, not mine.”
“I don’t think that works on cars,” Alex counters. “So what did you do?” he asks, already knowing the answer.
Michael hangs his head, “I fixed it.”
They both laugh, and Alex accepts another beer.
A week later a man approaches his booth when Alex is on his second cup of coffee at the Crashdown.
“Alex?”
The laptop he’s holding gives him away as the professor Alex has been waiting for. He’s younger than Alex expected, probably less than ten years older than Alex. His pressed jeans, button down shirt and casual blazer make him look like he stepped off every college brochure Alex remembers getting in the mail.
“Professor Taylor,” Alex smiles but doesn’t stand up.
“Yep, how’d you know?” When Alex looks pointedly at the laptop he’s clutching, he laughs and runs his free hand through his hair. “Right, please call me Ben. And you were easy to find. Michael told me to look for the best looking guy in the place.”
Alex quirks an eyebrow at him because that doesn’t sound like something Michael would say.
“Well, he told me you would be the guy who looks irritated by life because he’s on his third cup of coffee instead of drinking the milkshake he really wants, but I think my description stands.” He blushes slightly and that’s when Alex notices the rainbow and bisexual flag pins on his jacket. He wonders what else Michael said about him.
“That sounds more accurate, but this is only my second cup of coffee,” Alex reaches for the laptop. “Michael said you had a virus you can’t get rid of?”
Ben sits next to him in the booth instead of across the table. He opens the laptop and slides it over to Alex. “I promise it’s not from watching porn.”
Alex doesn’t even try to hide his smirk, “So it’s definitely from watching porn.”
“I won’t tell if you won’t,” Ben winks at Alex.
“Right.” Alex starts working. Ben looks disappointed when Alex moves to the far side of the booth but he doesn’t follow.
Once Alex gets into the computer, he knows it will be a relatively easy fix. He asks Ben about the classes he teaches and his enthusiasm for his subject matter makes for pleasant background noise. He reminds Alex a bit of Forrest, only focused on engineering instead of history.
After he takes care of the virus, Alex installs a stronger protection software and strengthens the firewall settings. He hands the laptop back to Ben. “You’re all set. I don’t think it will happen again, but I definitely recommend having separate computers for work and,” Alex clears his throat, “your more personal pursuits.”
Alex lets his amusement show clearly on his face. And while Ben blushes a little, he doesn’t look away. Once his laptop is back in his bag he stands up, and waits to see if Alex will follow. When Alex remains seated, Ben leans against the table, and reaches for Alex’s hand.
“I can’t thank you enough. I have some research on here I really can’t afford to lose.” He shakes Alex's hand, holding on for longer than necessary and smiling warmly. “If I have any more problems, I know who to come to.”
“You shouldn’t,” Alex repeats as he pulls his hand free. “But just let Michael know if you do. He can always hook us up again.”
“Of course,” Ben’s smile falters slightly. “Well, thanks again.” He waves on his way out, stopping at the counter to pay for Alex’s next coffee.
Alex texts Michael to let him know how it went. He barely has time to set his phone down before Michael slides into the booth across from him.
“Were you waiting outside the door?” Alex asks, surprised at the speed of Michael’s arrival.
“Nope, just running some errands,” Michael holds his hands up, trying to look innocent. “That didn’t take very long.”
“Pretty simple fix, not much to do,” Alex shrugs.
“So are you meeting him again?”
“No, why would we? I told you I was able to take care of everything.” Michael is the one who suggested Alex look at the computer. He’s not sure why Michael seems so surprised he was able to fix it.
“You guys got along though, right?” Michael asks.
“I didn’t do anything to jeopardize your grade if that’s what you’re worried about. He should be completely satisfied with my work.”
Michael snorts loudly then tries to cover it up with a cough when the diners at the counter turn around to look at them.
“Anyway,” Alex glares at Michael. “He was nice, and I told him he could let you know if he had any more problems.” “Huh,” Michael leans back in the booth. “I guess that’s that.”
Before Alex can ask what he means, Javier finally comes over with the refill for Alex, and they decide to order lunch. Burgers and fries for both of them, and while Alex drinks the coffee Ben bought him, Michael orders a milkshake. When their food comes, Michael slides his milkshake to the middle of the table so Alex can dip his fries in it.
3.
When Alex walks into the Wild Pony he doesn’t see Michael straight away, so he heads to the bar. Maria looks busy but he catches Max’s eye and holds up two fingers, knowing Max is familiar enough with what he and Michael drink to take it from there.
Instead of delivering the drinks Max waves him over and when Alex reaches him he’s surprised to see three bottles on the bar. “Hey, you remember Danny Price, right?”
Alex shakes his head, the way Max is trying too hard to appear casual already setting him on edge.
“He was a few years ahead of us in school - he graduated with one of your brothers.” When it becomes clear Alex still has no idea who he is talking about, Max sighs. “Well, I guess he just moved back to Roswell, and Michael brought him in tonight.” Max points to a table in the back.
Michael is leaning forward in his chair, talking animatedly to a man who looks completely out of place in the Pony. He’s wearing what looks like an expensive suit and is sitting stiffly across the table from Michael. Alex reluctantly takes the beers and heads in that direction. He’s not sure why Michael would have invited him for a drink without telling him he was bringing someone else.
“Hey,” he sets the bottles on the table and tries to give Michael a questioning look, but Michael avoids his eyes.
“Alex,” he greets him with exaggerated cheer. “You remember Danny?”
The other man scowls at Michael and immediately corrects him, “It’s Daniel.”
“Alex Manes, nice to meet you,” he shakes Daniel’s hand, not bothering to pretend he remembers him at all.
“Pleasure,” Daniel replies coolly, quickly pulling his hand away and dropping it into his lap. He completely ignores the bottle Alex places in front of him.
Alex sits next to Michael and kicks him under the table. This is not the relaxing night he had in mind.
“So Daniel,” Michael emphasizes his name, “just moved back to take over his family’s law firm. I gave him a tow today when he blew a tire out on the highway. Thought I’d show him around a bit, get him caught up on the social scene since his boyfriend decided not to make the move.”
Now Alex knows who he is, or at least who his father is. Daniel Price Sr. was the go to lawyer for people like the Longs and his father. He knew how to make things go away if you had enough influence and money to grease the wheels of justice. Alex had been forced to speak with him a few times when Jesse filed for divorce on the grounds of abandonment. He’d made a point of telling Alex how lucky he was that an important man like his father was willing to make the sacrifices necessary to ensure Alex was raised in a civilized environment. From the way Daniel is looking down his nose at the Pony, Alex expects he shares his father’s attitude.
“You’re a lawyer, as well?” Alex asks when Daniel doesn’t respond to Michael and the silence starts to become awkward.
“Yes, my father’s been after me to join the firm ever since his last associate was killed in an accident. I finally agreed,” Daniel doesn’t look happy about his decision.
At the mention of the dead associate, Alex shares a quick look with Michael, knowing Daniel must be referring to Isobel’s husband. But Michael doesn’t look concerned and with a quick shake of his head, he lets Alex know the connection is nothing to be concerned about. Roswell is a small town, if Noah was looking to cloak himself in prestige, he didn’t have many other options. Alex decides to accept Michael’s assessment of the risk, at least for now.
Michael turns to Alex, picking the conversation back up,, “I thought you could give him some tips on readjusting to life in Roswell. He’s used to being a big city lawyer, and you came back a war hero.”
Alex doesn’t even try to hide his reaction. He looks at Michael incredulously. Michael has never said a single positive thing about Alex’s time in the Air Force, let alone called him a hero.
“Maria needs me to look at something in the back so I’ll leave you two to talk,” Michael stands up and claps Alex on the shoulder, which feels more like he’s trying to hold Alex in place.
Alex glares at Michael as he walks away and then tries to school his expression into something more pleasant. It’s not Daniel’s fault Michael is acting like a completely different kind of pod person.
“Michael didn’t say where you relocated from,” Alex asks politely.
After several minutes of listening to Daniel drone on about his fabulous life in Chicago, Alex has finished his own beer and reaches unapologetically for the other one on the table. Daniel clearly isn’t going to drink it, and Alex feels he’s more than earned it. Initially he had tried to be sympathetic, but if Daniel really was the star of his high powered law firm and could afford a waterfront apartment and active social life, there is no reason to leave it all behind for a family law practice in Roswell. Alex finds himself thinking he should call the ex-boyfriend and congratulate him on ridding himself of this pompous asshole.
Mainly because he still has one beer left to drink, Alex makes a final attempt at conversation. “It’s definitely not Chicago, but I am sure you will find Roswell has its own appeal.”
The overture backfires, launching Daniel into a diatribe about Roswell’s isolation, lack of culture, poor economic outlook and even the Pony’s inadequate wine cellar. Alex is patient as long as he can be. He remembers his own bitterness and disappointment at finding himself back in the town he swore he’d left for good, and grudgingly admits some of Daniel’s complaints have merit.
“I am pleased - surprised but pleased - that some of the fine, upstanding families like the Longs haven’t abandoned this town. Considering how some of the more unsavory elements continue to flourish, their presence is all that is saving this town. I doubt without people like them and your father, my own family would still have a business worth passing down,” Daniel concludes with a condescending smile.
Alex reads that for the racist bullshit that it is. He smiles back, but there is nothing friendly about it. “You said you practiced corporate law in Chicago?” Daniel nods. “Well, I think you’ll find the Longs, Wyatt in particular, are more likely to keep you busy in criminal court. Might want to brush up on your defense skills.
Instead of being offended, Daniel looks pleased with himself. “I will be reminding the Sheriff of the important contributions the Longs make to this town and the consequences of ignoring those when faced with Wyatt’s more high spirited behavior. I am sure she will see the wisdom in restraint.”
And Alex is done. He stands up fast enough that his chair scrapes loudly across the floor, catching Max and Maria’s attention. “Looks like you’ll fit in just fine here as a small time, I mean small town, lawyer. I’ll have to thank Michael for allowing us to get reacquainted in case our paths cross again.”
Max waves him away apologetically when he heads to the bar to pay. Maria, on the other hand, takes one look at his face and starts laughing so hard she doesn’t see him flip her off on his way out the door. Michael’s truck isn’t in the parking lot, and Alex can’t help but feel relieved. He’d been expecting to spend a few hours with Michael drinking beer and talking, and instead been subjected to...whatever the hell that was. He’s more agitated than he was when he arrived and he’s not in the mood for whatever excuse Michael has. The next time Michael invites him for a drink, he’s going to make sure there aren’t any surprises. And Michael is paying.
4.
Alex watches Maria and Rosa belt out Don’t Speak from one of the tables Isobel reserved for the night. He normally avoids Thursday Karaoke nights at Planet 7, preferring somewhere less crowded and quieter after work, but he made an exception for Kyle’s birthday.
When one of the bartenders came over with another free birthday shot for Kyle, Michael sighs dramatically and rolls his eyes. “The Valenti love fest is killing me. You think they’d know by now it's not going to get them laid.”
“It’s his birthday,” Alex shrugs. “Which you are here celebrating, I might add.”
“Isobel’s paying the tab tonight, can’t pass that up,” Michael holds up his own shot glass then lets out a cheer when Maria and Rosa transition to Say My Name. “Trust me, another year with Dr. Doolittle is nothing worth celebrating.
Alex shakes his head and turns his attention back to the stage. While Michael’s animosity toward Kyle may have faded, he never turns down a chance to insult him.
“Speaking of getting laid,” Michael nudges Alex to get his attention again. “I think that guy at the bar is eyeing you.”
Alex looks over at the bar to see who Michael is not so subtly pointing to. The only person paying attention to them is Trent, one of the regulars Forrest made a point of intruding Alex to months ago. When Trent notices Alex looking over at him, he winks and Alex doesn’t know whether to laugh or throw something at Michael. He’s too tired and too sober to deal with this tonight. It may have taken Alex a while to catch on, but he realizes Michael has been trying to set him up ever since he and Forrest broke up. Ben was a nice enough guy, and Alex could see why Michael thought they might click; Daniel was a clear miss, but this is a new low.
“Yes, Trent is eyeing me, and anyone else he thinks might give him fifty bucks for a bathroom blowjob.”
“What?” Michael stutters.
“You just tried to set me up with a hustler,” they both watch as another patron approaches Trent and after a short conversation, they walk toward the bathroom together.
“Sorry, I didn’t know,” Michael slumps back in his seat.
“Yeah, I get that,” Alex pinched the bridge of his nose. He’s not sure what it says about him that Michael thought his type would be someone in a mesh see-through tank top, ripped skin tight teal jeans, a cowboy hat and what might be a pair of boots made by the murder twins. Maybe Michael thinks he’s desperate enough that ‘likes guys’ and ‘breathing’ is his new standard, or maybe Michael is just that desperate to focus Alex’s interest on someone else. Either way, it’s not something Alex is prepared to confront tonight.
“Trent’s a nice kid,” Alex offers at Michael’s defeated look. “He’s using the money to help pay his undergrad tuition which means he’s about ten years younger than me. And there's no way you didn’t notice that.” Alex doesn’t wait for Michael to answer, before he stands up and decides to call it a night.
He catches Rosa and Maria as they are walking off the stage and hugs them both. He waves at the rest of the table before stepping up behind Kyle. “Happy Birthday. I’m going to head out, early morning on the base tomorrow,” he covers so that Kyle won’t try to persuade him to stay.
“Thanks for coming, man,” Kyle gives him a half hug, half handshake made even more awkward by his drunken clumsiness.
Alex passes Kyle off to Max and heads for the door. He can feel Michael’s eyes on him, but Michael doesn’t say anything or try to stop him so Alex heads home alone.
5.
Alex tries to listen to the speaker as they explain the importance of raising enough funds to support a domestic violence shelter in Roswell, but his attention keeps drifting to Michael. Other than those few minutes at Prom he’s never seen Michael in a suit, and he’s beautiful. No longer an adolescent trying to be comfortable in unfamiliar clothes, he wears the charcoal grey suit with confidence. No tie and shirt unbuttoned at the top, it’s elegant and Michael all at once.
But Michael doesn’t want that kind of attention from him, so he tries again to focus on the speaker. Normally he would have made a donation and avoided the fundraiser entirely, but Isobel had organized the event and purchased a table, handing out tickets and insisting attendance was mandatory.
Another woman comes to the stage and begins to explain how a shelter saved her life. Alex finds himself thinking about his mother, and what, if any, difference a safe place like this could have made in her life. He remembers so little of his parent’s relationship, but he can’t imagine it was healthy, and he can’t make himself believe his mother would have left them all behind if she had a choice.
As if sensing his thoughts, Maria places her hand on his arm and squeezes gently. He turns and smiles at her, grateful for her silent support. In an attempt to redirect his own thoughts he excuses himself to get another drink as soon as there is a break in the program. On his way to the bar, he sees Michael nudge Isobel who then heads over to another table, but he doesn’t give it much thought.
Alex takes his drink and steps off to the side, content to watch from a distance for a while. He’ll rejoin the table soon enough, but he needs a break to push the thoughts of his mother from his mind. He’s almost done with his drink when he notices another man approaching him. Alex doesn’t recognize him, but he is clearly on his way to speak to him.
“Captain Manes,” he holds out his hand and Alex shakes it automatically. “I was hoping to get a chance to talk to you tonight. Major Sam Whitmore,” he introduces himself. “Please call me Sam.”
“Alex,” Alex isn’t sure how to respond. Even out of uniform, Alex would have immediately recognized him as military. He looks to be about Clay’s age, some grey creeping into his blond hair, but his eyes are kind, and Alex doesn’t sense a threat from him.
“Isobel mentioned you would be here. She’s a friend of yours?”
“Hmm.” Alex is noncommittal, not willing to claim Isobel as a friend when he’s not sure why she mentioned him to Sam. “Mostly through her brother. You know her well?” He glances over at the table and sees Michael watching him while Isobel and another woman stand a few feet away also looking in their direction.
“Not well,” Sam admits. Sam gestures to the woman talking to Isobel. “My ex-wife is one of the board members, and she helped Isobel plan the event. I try to be supportive of her work when I can be.”
“That’s admirable.” His thoughts drift briefly to his mother again. There had been nothing admirable about how Jesse had erased her from their lives the moment she left.
“We were always friends, and we’ve managed to keep that connection even though we didn’t have children to keep us tied together. We were probably always meant to be friends, and I don’t know what I would do without her. She was able to accept that I was gay before I could.”
And now Alex understands what this is all about, but it isn’t Sam’s fault, so he smiles politely. “She sounds like a good friend to have.”
“She definitely deserved better than I gave her, but I didn’t know any other way to live. I came from a military family, and just followed the same path as everyone else in my family. Joined the Air Force, married my high school girlfriend and pretended it was enough.”
“Sometimes that’s the only way,” Alex agrees. For all his teenage rebellion, he’d ended up exactly where his father wanted him. Then he still let him down by coming back rather than dying a martyr to the Manes’ legacy.
“You and I have a lot in common. You know what it’s like to grow up with that pressure to fall in line, to serve. I can’t think of a single man in my family who wasn’t part of the military. In fact I think my father served with both your father and grandfather.”
Sam is still talking, but Alex can’t concentrate on what he’s saying. The idea that Sam could be connected to his family sends his thoughts spiraling. He’s already been thinking about his father, and another mention of him has Alex’s skin prickling like he’s being watched. What if there were more people involved in Project Shepherd? Alex was sure he buried Project Shepherd deep enough that it will never be found, but what if he missed something? With his attention focused elsewhere is it possible he’d missed something - some other threat to Michael he didn’t notice? Is Alex failing to protect him once again?
He looks back to the table, irrationally needing to see that Michael is still there and unharmed. Michael is there - still watching him. He’s frowning like he can tell Alex is upset. Alex forces himself to resume listening to Sam.
“So I thought we could get coffee or something, get to know each other better?”
“Sounds good,” Alex agrees while looking for somewhere to set his drink down. Between his father’s ghost and Michael’s attention, he feels like the air in the room is suffocating him. “Excuse me, I have to go.”
Alex quickly heads outside, not allowing himself to look back at Michael. Once he’s clear of the building, he loosens his tie and tries to slow his breathing. All he wants to do is go home, but he knows he’s not ready to drive and the lingering paranoia from Sam’s mention of his family leaves him on guard and needing to be close enough to protect Michael. So he sits on one of the benches surrounding a small pond and reminds himself that his father is dead. That Project Shepherd is gone. That Michael is safe.
Just as he’s worked through his fears - convinced himself they are unfounded and begun to relax - he feels a hand on his shoulder. He stands up and spins around quickly, ready for a fight. Of course it’s Micheal, and as relieved as he is to have visible proof that Michael is fine, he doesn’t want to face the other emotions Michael stirs in him. He wishes Michael hadn’t followed him, not with his latest attempt at matchmaking is still a bitter reminder of what Michael doesn’t want.
“Hey,” Michael says soothingly. “They’re about to serve dinner. You should come back in.” Michael steps back hesitantly and shoves his hands back in his pockets.
“I don’t think that’s a good idea.”
“Why, you’re not in the mood for overcooked chicken?” Michael smiles and jerks his head back toward the banquet hall. “It won’t be that bad. Isobel swears the potatoes are to die for.”
Alex ignores his attempt at levity, angry that Michael is still pushing this. “What I’m not in the mood for is finding Major Whitmore in the empty chair at our table. You’ll have to be the one to tell Isobel she wasted her time orchestrating this meeting. Although I have a feeling it was your idea.”
“Come on Alex, it wasn’t like that,” Michael winces a little at Alex's directness.
“Michael,” Alex sighs and sits back down, suddenly tired of all of this. “We need to stop dancing around this. It’s just hurting both of us. I know it’s hurting me.”
Michael looks down for a moment before meeting Alex’s eyes, somehow both apologetic and defiant in the face of Alex’s admission. “Isobel really wanted everyone here; she’s proud of this event. But when she told me about her friend’s ex-husband, I thought it would be a good chance for you to meet someone. That’s all.”
“And what about the rest of them? It’s not like this is the first time you’ve tried to set me up.” Now that Alex has asked the question, he’s not going to let Michael avoid telling him the truth.
“I just want you to be happy, Alex. You tried to help me out with Maria - more than once she told me. And I tried to fix things with Forrest, but when that didn’t work out, I got creative,” Michael shrugs.
“This goes back to Forrest, Jesus,” Alex swears. He remembers Michael’s animated conversation with Forrest at open mic night and is embarrassed just imagining what Michael might have said in the effort to get Forrest to give him another chance. “What were you thinking?”
“You helped with Maria,” Michael repeats as if that explains anything.
“I talked to Maria because the two people I loved most in the world were falling in love with each other. You could have made each other so happy and everyone could see that. How could I not encourage the two of you to be happy together?”
Alex had never considered anything but helping Maria when she had doubts about Michael. Maybe it didn’t make sense to anyone else, but he understood when Michael told him he wanted something good, that he wanted to be good for someone - and that someone was Maria. He just wanted to help her understand. He knew they gave each other something he could never provide, and it blunted some of the pain of his own failure with Michael to see their happiness. “What you did wasn’t the same thing at all. You’ve been throwing random men in my path and hoping one would stick. That doesn’t feel like caring, Michael, it feels like you are trying to get rid of me.”
“Alex, no,” Michael protests, looking upset.
“I get it, but it needs to stop. I’m sorry if I’m making you uncomfortable. I thought I was respecting your wishes and controlling my feelings,” Alex laughs bitterly and runs a hand through his hair. “But you make it so hard. We’ve never spent so much time together, and I keep seeing all these different sides of you. The way your mind works faster than anyone else’s, the way you’re trying to meet Max in the middle, how you tease Sanders, but always come through for him, the way you explain things to Kyle using twice as many technical terms as needed, half of which I know you made up, just so he has to ask you to explain it again. And I keep falling in love with you again.
Alex looks over at Michael not sure what reaction he’s expecting, but Michael is just standing there, frozen in place, so Alex keeps talking. “I’m going to keep my distance for a while because if this is your way of forcing me to move on, it’s not going to work.”
“I really fucked this up, didn’t I,” Michael shakes off his surprise and sits down next to Alex, looking as frustrated as Alex feels. “I was trying to help with Forrest. I thought it would - I don’t know - even us out after what you did with Maria, that I owed you that chance at happiness.”
“That’s not what I want,” Alex never wants anything from Michael out of obligation. And he certainly doesn’t want Michael thinking he needs to find Alex some kind of replacement.
“I think it could have worked between you and my professor. He seems like a good guy - smart, handsome, but the day you two met up, I panicked. I parked across the street from the Crashdown before he got there. I couldn’t see you so I just sat there imagining the two of you talking and flirting and dreading the moment you walked out together holding hands.”
Alex can’t help but laugh a little. “You think I move that fast?”
“Never said I was being rational,” Michael smiles, but quickly sobers. “I felt like shit for being relieved when you told me you weren’t meeting him again. That should have been the end of it, but apparently guilt makes me stubborn so I felt like I had to keep trying. But I wasn’t trying very hard.”
“I was starting to wonder what you thought of me when I realized you were trying to set me up and your choices were Daniel and Trent.”
“I’m sorry,” Michael apologizes, looking embarrassed. “After that night at Planet 7, I knew I screwed up.” Michael looks at him. “Tonight. I told myself tonight was real - not another half-hearted attempt. But I know that a guy in the military with a family like yours isn’t what you want. I get what it looks like, Alex, but I’m not trying to get rid of you. It’s just - I saw how hard you were trying with Forrest. That you wanted a relationship that could be open and happy and I want that for you.”
“Maybe that is what you were trying to do, but I still need you to stop,” Alex says. Knowing Michael’s motivations should make him feel better, but it doesn’t. No matter the reason, Michael still wants him to be with someone else. “You’re not completely wrong,” he continues because at this point there’s no reason to be anything but honest. “I was trying with Forrest, but the reason it didn’t work is that we both realized that open, happy relationship I wanted? I want it with you.”
Alex braces himself for Michael’s reaction. Admitting he still wants a relationship with Michael is blunter than saying he loves him. Michael has made it clear he doesn’t want to be with Alex. He doesn’t know if Michael will be angry that Alex can’t let it go, or understanding and kind. Alex isn’t sure which reaction he dreads more. But Michael surprises him by laughing, open and incredulous.
He takes Alex hand, “You weren’t listening when I told about my reaction to realizing you and the professor might actually work out, were you? My first attempt at matchmaking, and I’ve never wanted to fail so much in my life. You aren’t the only one who keeps falling in love, Alex.”
Alex makes a sound of disbelief and tries to pull his hand back, but Michael holds tight.
“I used to have all these dreams for us, you remember?” Michael waits for his reaction, continuing once he nods. “I thought I knew exactly who we would be together. And for a long time. I was angry at you for changing. You joined the Air Force, and every time I saw you, you were further and further from who I thought you would be when I imagined us together. Seeing that was like losing another piece of those dreams every time, and it made me look at how I was never going to be the person I dreamed of either. It took me a long time to figure out that even if all my dreams came true - if we stayed together, got out of Roswell together - we still would have been different than I imagined. And when I finally let go of those dreams, I thought that meant letting go of you. Of us.”
Alex looks away. He remembers how painful it was to finally accept that he and Michael were never going to have the future they planned in whispers in the back of Michael’s truck. But even saying goodbye to all of that hadn’t been enough to force Michael out of his heart.
“Hey,” Michael says softly, pulling Alex’s attention back to him. “As much as that hurt, it left me free to fall in love with who you are now. I didn’t even realize it was happening, but eventually when I thought about loving you, it wasn’t past tense, it wasn’t some idealized version of you, but the guy sitting next to me doing everything he can to protect me and making me laugh and listening to me.”
Michael pauses, but Alex feels as frozen as Michael was earlier, unable to react. When Michael starts speaking again he rubs his thumb over the back of Alex’s hand, and the soothing motion gives Alex something to focus on besides the almost painful honesty of Michael’s words. He watches the slide of Michael’s skin against his and lets it ground him as he listens to Michael. “I still see glimpses of him sometimes, the boy I fell in love with, the one who loved music and loved me and made me feel like I belonged here and gave me hope. And I still love him, but I don’t need him anymore. I want to make new dreams with you, now, tonight.”
Overwhelmed by the love he sees in Michael’s eyes, Alex tries and fails to blink back the tears filling his own eyes. He’s been on edge all night, battling memories and fears, then facing the anger and hurt he’s felt ever since he realized Michael was trying to set him up. To have it end like this, with honesty and hope, maybe love, feels like too much.
Michael brushes away the tears with his thumbs. He cradles Alex’s face gently in his hands, and meets his eyes, silently asking permission. When Alex nods, the most beautiful smile graces Michael’s face, Alex catches just a glimpse of it before bringing Alex’s face in so that he can kiss away the tracks the tears have left behind. Then Michael’s lips meet his. The kiss is soft and sweet, and Alex feels so loved it almost hurts. He lets it fill him, pushing his insecurities away.
After they pull back, Alex rests his head on Michael's shoulder, pressing his face into his neck and breathing in the scent of rain and whiskey and oil, the scent of Michael. Michael runs his hands down Alex’s back and presses gentle kisses into his hair. When it stops feeling so overwhelming, so much like a dream that will slip through his fingers, Alex looks up and kisses Michael’s cheek, just catching the corner of his mouth. He stays there, letting his lip catch on the corner of Michael’s smile and savoring the closeness he’s been craving.
Michael turns into the kiss, and it lingers, hot and open mouthed this time, until he finally breaks away looking entirely too pleased with himself. “The way I see it we have two choices. We can go back in there and make sure everyone knows you’re taken. Or I can follow you home and we can talk some more, hold each other and maybe do some of those things we’ve both been pretending we don’t want.”
“Home,” Alex immediately seizes on the idea of having Michael in his house where they can have some time to themselves. “Home sounds good.”
“And since I doubt we'll get much sleep,” Michael looks at Alex suggestively. “We can go to the Crashdown for breakfast. Or maybe lunch. You can lend me some clothes or I will proudly do the walk of shame in this suit.”
Alex sees a little of Michael’s confidence falter as he mentions going out together, and he doesn’t want that. “If you put that suit back on,” he lightly traces his finger along the exposed skin the open collar shows off, smiling when Michael shivers. “I won’t be able to let you out of the house, so I’ll find you something to wear.”
“So what are we waiting for?” Michael asks as he stands up.
“Nothing,” Alex replies as he lets Michael pull him to his feet and they walk to the parking lot together, hands still joined.
+1
Michael finalizes the hotel reservations with an excited “Yes,” loud enough to startle Bailey who was laying across his feet. Michael pats her head in apology.
He can’t wait to tell Alex. Ever since he saw Alex looking at the website for an independent music festival in Austin, Michael’s wanted to find a way for them to go. Now that Jones is dead or ascended - Michael isn’t sure which and doesn’t really care - he and Alex aren’t pulling double duty with work and yet another alien investigation. The peace probably won’t last long so he wants to get away while they can.
The music festival is the perfect excuse. Michael’s never heard of any of the bands playing, but he knows that’s not the point. In addition to the concerts, there are plenty of other events going on - and enough amateur open mic nights that it’s worth driving so they can bring Alex’s guitar, and not have to deal with airports.
His phone alerts him to the email confirmation of his hotel reservation. The Austin Proper Hotel is probably too fancy for him or Alex, but he’d fallen in love with finding a place that had the adaptations Alex needed without being utilitarian. He had a feeling they would be spending a lot of time enjoying all the amenities the tub and shower promised. The spa and emphasis on tequila were also big selling points. If he was going to spoil Alex, he was going to do it right. And Austin was queer friendly enough that he hadn’t hesitated to tell the hotel staff about his plans and ask for recommendations.
Michael wishes this is something he could have done sooner. It amazes him how much more relaxed Alex is whenever they leave Roswell even if it is just for a few hours. The first time they went to Albuquerque, Michael had been surprised at how quick Alex was to hold his hand and kiss him without checking his surroundings first. Outside of Roswell, where Alex still couldn't shake the feeling of being watched, he finally felt comfortable being himself, he explained to Michael, and that included showing Michael the affection he’d always felt. Michael couldn’t wait to have days of Alex’s undivided attention.
Now he just has to convince Alex that taking an actual vacation is a good idea. Michael mentally runs through all the objections Alex might have. Alex has more than enough leave time available and will be giving enough notice to use it. Sanders can live without Michael for a week or two, hell the old man will probably just shut the place down and take his own vacation.
“You want to stay with Max and Jamison for a few days?” Michael asks Bailey.
Her ears perk up at the mention of her brother’s name, hoping for a playdate, and Michael laughs, “Not today.”
Max will be happy to take Bailey while they are gone, she’d even lived with him for a few days after Max found the two dogs outside the Pony. Then she’d taken one look at Alex and fallen in love, a sentiment Michael more than understood. Seeing Alex with a lapful of dog sealed the deal, and Bailey came home with them.
Isobel can take care of the house. She lives close enough to stop by and get the mail and take care of the plants. Of course, they’ll have to lock a few things up to counteract her natural nosiness.
The biggest challenge will be convincing Alex that he deserves to take some time off and relax. This is the first time in longer than Michael can remember that there wasn’t some crisis looming, and Michael wants to take advantage before something else goes wrong.
He waits until Alex is home and has had time to change before broaching the subject. They are sitting on the patio, throwing a ball for Bailey when he brings it up.
“I was thinking we should go away for a while, take a vacation,” Michael begins, mentally marshaling all his arguments for Alex’s objection.
“Yes,” Alex says immediately, and Michael watches the way his whole body relaxes just thinking about it.
Michael realizes they’d been dealing with Jones for so long he’d gotten used to seeing Alex stressed and tense. He can see now just how tired Alex is.
“I may have already planned something,” Michael admits. He gets up and plans to show Alex the information he has on his phone, but Alex grabs his hand and pulls Michael down onto his lap.
“I don’t care, anywhere is fine as long as it’s with you.” Alex slides his hands under Michael’s shirt and urges him to lean down enough so they can kiss.
They make out like that for a while, the sun still warm against Michael’s back, Alex relaxed and solid in his arms. Bailey eventually tires of being ignored and drops the ball at their feet, barking for their attention.
Michael gives Alex one last kiss before reaching down and blindly throwing the ball. He turns around and watches her tear through the yard. Alex wraps his arm around Michael’s waist, anchoring him as he leans back against Alex’s chest. He can’t wait to have Alex all to himself. He lets his mind drift to all the things he wants to do, and eventually to his final surprise - the rings he’ll hide in his bag. As excited as Michael is about going on vacation with Alex, he’s even more excited about coming home with his husband.

"come on, nate, we should be good people … wouldnt it be nice to wake up in the morning and not feel like a fucking piece of shit?" so this is shiv, trying to make this decision to be a good person, bc she Knows she isnt, but of course she keeps being a bad person with nate, bc she already feels like a piece of shit and she already expects herself to keep going back to that and its who she decides she has to be. later on she'll shut down and feign ignorance to how deeply fucked up the company and her whole life is, but for now she can be open and honest and say "im a fucking piece of shit. i dont want to be, but i am."
"you tell yourself you're a good person but you're not a good person" reflects more on kendall than it does shiv i think, bc almost immediately after this he says "im the real you", which can be read as him saying "im the Actually good version of you", but he also knows this not to be true… etc etc. but it also totally Does reflect on shiv, because shes so wrapped up in making other people Think shes a good person, and making other people think she thinks shes a good person, but the honesty we saw with nate earlier shows that deep down she does know and conceptualize her standing within the world
"oh, look, shiv, do you think that stealing is what good people do? stealing? cheating at monopoly?" this is objectively silly and thats the point, how roman makes jokes out of how he actually feels to cover it up, ugh i dont have to go through all of this just look at the tvtropes page for the sad clown trope and you'll get the idea. in any case, shiv actually said, "i was only stealing so i could win", in this case saying "i did what i had to to win dads affection" and roman fired back with what he perceived to be a weak point, shivs morality. also roman feels like something was taken from him here, might have something to do with how he brings up what shiv did with gerri -- see romans issues with sexuality and further analysis of specifically the revocation of agency(? idrk if thats the word im looking for) in his sexuality. Or something
"greg, dont be an asshole, you dont have principles" is a comedic sort of juxtaposition; "dont be an asshole" and "you dont have principles" are, like, opposites, since not being an asshole implies having some principles. what tom is demanding here is a double standard and loyalty to a class which, for a long time, greg has not belonged to. essentially hes trying to make sure greg, known slimy bitch, wont betray him, aka work for toms gain, which in itself calls back to that theme of rich entitlement, that people in the upper class have a simultaneous philosophy of "make your own fucking pile" and work solely for ur own best interest, but expect those around you to serve you. thats where logan excels, he understands that everyone else has the same philosophy he does and distrusts them as a result
"i cleaned up your mess … and im a bad person?" again, this calls back to this idea of pure loyalty to the upper class. since the lower class isnt "real", being horrible to them and/or covering up that behavior is okay, justified even. but to be part of the upper class, it is Good to do whatever nasty stuff you have to do to beat someone else. being good, then, isnt about morality, its about power, maybe. logan has cleaned up kendalls mess, and hes supposedly a good person for it. but thats backwards, covering up the truth of someones death to blackmail ur son isnt (morally) good behavior. and that is, at this point, the language that kendall is speaking. logan isnt speaking the same language
"i dont know. im not a good person. … im bad" this is pretty obvious. kendalls been ruminating in the fact that hes a horrible person for the past 2 seasons and now he says it outright. something something black and white thinking
"do you want a deal with the devil?" literally anything i say about this interaction has already been said im moving on
"lifes not knights on a horseback. its a number on a piece of paper its a fight for the knife in the mud." see everything i said earlier about logan speaking the language of power, not morality. "lifes not knights on a horseback" is ofc about not saving people and making ur own pile etc. the iconography is particularly romantic (er, anti-romantic), which is interesting considering logans many weird fucked up relationships with various women. its also associated with medieval times, which. i dont know if that means anything, usually if succession is referencing history its about greek/roman history, but. yknow. "its a number on a piece of paper" references business ofc and with "its a fight for a knife in the mud" im gonna go out on a limb and say this is referencing boar on the floor? pigs are associated with mud, and boar in the floor was something about class struggle. Uh. ya
^^^ im saying so many words i dont know if any of them make sense. i should goooo do my homework Ya. then take a shower and continue my rewatch then go beddy bye

Have you done Krekka for the ask game? I know you're a huge Nidhiki fan, curious if you have any thoughts on his partner?
I haven't gotten Krekka yet actually. So far I only done Toa Ignika and Axonn for the Bionicle ask game (which Im still accepting). That being said great choice. Krekka isn't necessarily a big favorite of mine (partially because I'm not that fond of the "dumb brute" archetype barring a few exceptions), but I have to admit I do have a soft spot for the big guy. Krekka is a relatively simple character when it comes to characterization/backstory/role in the story (especially when compared to Nidhiki), but that doesn't mean I don't have any "deeper" thoughts regarding him or that there isnt stuff worth discussing.
Anyways some thoughts/headcanons/general musings:
This is a weird thing to start with but... Krekka is kinda adorable for me. I think its kinda this ...overgrown puppy (bulldog??) vibe due to his loyalty and dumbness. I admit BOADH is a big reason for me feeling this way since it gave him a few moments that made me go "AWWW he's so cute". Just..love his loyalty so much.
His undying loyalty makes him stand out for me across the other dark hunters. While many dark hunters we ha e are opportunistic and schemy, Krekka is just...very loyal. Maybe too much so. But I love that he is loyal. Feels refreshing tbh.
And now I cant help but feel that TSO is just "guys stupid but at least he wont double cross me and is easy to keep in check" when it comes to him.
Not to go woobifying villains but I genuinely dont think the guys that bad. Hes just really stupid, overly loyal and doing his job. Its kinda like w Lariska being a decent person despite being a knife happy murder girl although to a much lesser extent since guys a literalminded fool and also just smashy boy.
I do like his backstory of being a former guard who lost his job and started wreck havoc until one day a dark hunter found and hired him. It isnt anything too complex but it works well for his character and explains why he is so loyal to Dark Hunters. It also helps bringing a bit more light to his homeland and I love when we get more info of places through character backstories, makes the world feel more real that way.
Also can Gorast please stop hurting charaxters I like. This is the reason shes my least favorite character in the 2001-2008 storyline that isnt just a glorified extra or a plot device.
When it comes to Krekka, one scene I always think of when I think of him is in BOADH where he temporarily forgot to fly and Nidhiki was just "WAIT A MOMENT LARISKA TOLD ME YOU CAN FLY????" and Krekka just goes "whoops I forgot". That was adorable honestly. You dumb idiot, forgot you could fly.
Also, I know he's kinda "the idiot character", and while I am NOT saying he isn't, I do think its worth pointing out that he's basically literal minded. In BOADH (again) when Nidhiki tried to do that training scenario Krekka basically was like "wait I’m here, there’s nothing there why should I move there". This is
Another thing I really like about Krekka is that how, despite being an absolute idiot and tool, he still is willing to sometimes not take Nidhikis bullshit, see preventing him from getting the Zamor launchers (geez BOADH did a lot for this guys characterization lmao)
I sometimes call him truck boy because his name is one letter off my languages word for truck.
Also unless canon/word of Greg says otherwise I don't think every member of his species is as stupid as him. Like possibly on similar level but still.
It is made pretty clear that Nidhiki couldn't stand Krekka at all, but I do genuinely wonder how Krekka feels about Nidhiki. Based on the little we have I'd say he liked him to some extent or at the very least, didn't hate him to the same degree. I also have to wonder how aware he was about Nidhikis haterd towards him.
I also love the idea that when Nidhiki was mutated, Krekka just...wasnt afraid of him at slightest, no fear in this dumb boy. (I also like the idea he didnt recognize him at first and Nidhiki just, had to explain to his thick skull who he was. It took a while but eventually he got it.)
On a related note, I find it interesting how the LOMN website describes him working with Nidhiki because guy knows where to get the good jobs or something rather than being his goverment (read TSO) assigned partner The way the twos relationship were described makes it feel that by this point the staff hadnt figured out what they wanted to do with Dark Hunters , or if it even was an organization or just these two tools.
Its really interesting for me how Krekkas characterization not only varies between the books/comics (where hes more intimidating and him being a simpleton isnt as pronounced) and the movie (where hes more of a dumbass) but also how his characterization evolved. Like, his loyalty wasn't that pronounced trait but now I feel its just as important part of him as him being a dumbass (which is to say, very interesting)
I remember how the aftoermentoined Metru Nui movie website described that Krekka hated toa to the point wouldve hunted them for free if Nidhiki didnt make sure the two would get paid. I feel this is somewhat early installment weirdness as it isnt mentioned anywhere else but at the same time Krekka being willing to fight without payment sounds 1000% in character if you ask me
Something I have been confused over: when exactly was Krekka recruited to the dark hunters??? The timeline is very vague about this and I wish we knew.
It's been AGES since I watched my home countrys dub of LOMN but what I recall I really liked Krekka's voice in that dub. He sounded more badass and I loved it, the VA had a pretty unique sound. Sadly dont think there is any clips of the LOMN dub, which is a shame. UPDATE: I rewatched the dub and I love the voice itself but felt the voice direction made him sound kinda inconsistent
This is more a "Nidhiki and Krekka related thought" rather than just Krekka related but one thing I really like about Krekka and Nidhiki is that how they are like a more serious and competent take of "those two evil henchmen with contrasting personalities" trope. Often these types of villains are rather goofy, but these two could be rather dangerous as well and I really like that. I also like their dynamic of just doing Nidhiki being done with Krekkas bullshit. One of the main reasons I wish LOMN was a miniseries rather than a movie is because I really wanted more screentime with the two.
On a related note can I JUST SAY I LOVE the way the two compliment/pararell each other. From design (Krekka being bulky mostly blue colored, Nidhiki being slender and monstrous, mostly green colored) to personality (Krekka being foolish and simpleminded but loyal Nidhiki being cunning and ambitious but treacherous) to powersets (Krekka being strong physical attacker, Nidhiki being weaker(??) but faster and more special attacker).Heck, even their backstories have similarities as they both lost their orginal purpose in one way or another and didnt have anywhere to go but Dark Hunters (the main difference being that Nidhiki inflicted his fate upon himself by betraying the toa while Krekka didnt really do anything iirc)
Now for something crossovery, Krekkas and Nidhikis dynamic reminds me a lot of Kronk and Yzma from Emperors New Groove. Yes I have drawn a parody of the "pull the lever kronk" meme, yes I intend to make more screencap redraws. They also remind me a lot of Mummymon and Archenemon from Digimon 02, partially due to the dynamic (smug spider that tries to be cunning and intimidating but gets outclassed by most other villains in that + loyal blue dumb boy) partially due to their ultimate fate being rather similar.
I don't know how familiar you are with the franchise, but Krekka reminds me a fair bit of Gamel, one of the four villain generals in Kamen Rider OOOs, mainly because "the dumb brute major villain that's kinda cuteish and loyal a f while everyone else is an asshole".
I remember reading a p good oneshot fic that was just him accidentally killing a civilian when all he wanted was a hug and...honestly that is p much what I imagine him being like. Guy may be strong, reckless and a fool but like I said I dont think hes all that bad and just a puppy. An overgrown, moronic puppy but a puppy nontheless
For AUs, I remember I have thought once of "What if Krekka survived but Nidhiki died" and just ...guy wouldve been very lost and confused and unsure what to do tbh. He would most likely returned to Dark Hunters but Mata Nui knows how say TSO wouldve felt about that. Its not too complex au yet but I am thinking of developing it further one day.
Thank you for asking.
Sorry this took longer than expected. I had too many thoughts and half of them were deleted so. I hope its worth the wait tho. I do have a lot of Krekka thoughts and tbh wasnt sure if I was even able to get them all here.
(I am still doing the ask game so if anyone wants to send me a bonkle I will try to give thoughts, meta and headcanons on them)

Daredevil 101: Cruel & Unusual
Hello, friends! I am back to fill up 10 minutes of your pandemic self-isolation downtime. Today we’re covering the storyline “Cruel & Unusual,” which ran through Daredevil v2 #107-110. Greg Rucka joins our usual team of Ed Brubaker and Michael Lark as a co-writer, which means a hardboiled dame investigating corruption, because Rucka has a #brand.
Content Warning: Severe violence against children is described but not shown; attempted suicide.
In the aftermath of what happened to Milla, Matt has sunk into depression. His friends are understandably concerned:
Tumblr media
While Foggy pleads with him, Luke has a more assertive approach: yelling. Matt doesn’t take it well:
Tumblr media
Yes, Matt breaks his hand. Yes, I laughed.
Anyway, Luke wants Matt to help him on a case, but Matt’s not hearing it, so Luke goes to the rest of Nelson, Blake, and Murdock:
Tumblr media
MCU viewers will remember Big Ben Donovan from Luke Cage and Daredevil. They didn’t change much for the show, except that in the comics he sometimes beats people up in addition to being a super sketchy lawyer.
Anyway, he is currently on death row for decapitating three children - siblings, specifically. Not only that, he confessed to it. But Luke doesn’t think it fits his MO, and is hoping Matt - or barring that, Foggy, Becky, and Dakota - can do something to save Ben’s life. As they all agree, Ben sucks, but he doesn’t deserve to die for a crime he didn’t commit.
They try to get Matt on the case but he’s not interested. Dakota talks to a cop friend of hers, Detective Kurtz, and finds a few weird loose ends:
Tumblr media
She then goes to see Ben in prison:
Tumblr media
With Ben’s permission, she records his confession. On her way home from (I’m assuming) Sing Sing, she stops at a diner - and is attacked in the parking lot by a stranger, who beats her up and tells her to stay away from the Donovan case.
Furious, she goes straight to Matt and tells him to get his head out of his ass:
Tumblr media
She wants Matt to listen to Ben’s confession and see if he hears anything off - that is, if he’s not too busy sitting around feeling sorry for himself. I know she’s coming off really aggressive here but the implication in the comic is that Matt has basically shut out the world for a worryingly long time by this point.
Anyway, Dakota storms out and Matt decides to listen to the recording - and realizes that Ben is definitely lying about killing those kids. So he finally pus on outside pants and heads out to do something about it:
Tumblr media
Ben tells Matt the same thing he told Dakota - he did it, he has accepted his punishment, leave him alone. But Matt knows he’s lying, so he sees if the other Ben has any information for him:
Tumblr media
That missing dad is still the loose end. Is he alive and thus probably the killer? Or if he’s dead, why won’t Ben (Donovan) confess to killing him too? Matt asks if Ben knows anything else about the dad, and Ben says he worked on the docks.
Meanwhile, Dakota continues to poke around and get in trouble, because that’s who she is as a person (I love Dakota so much). The same dude who beat her up before attacks her again, but this time she’s ready:
Tumblr media
Also, surprise! He’s with the FBI. Which a) means there’s a cover-up happening, and b) freaks everyone out a bit because Matt and the FBI don’t have the greatest history with each other.
Matt, meanwhile, keeps digging and discovers that the missing dad didn’t just work “on the docks.” He worked specifically for this dude:
Tumblr media
Eric Slaughter, one of Fisk’s early rivals! We haven’t seen him in a while but he was a regular foe in the early Miller years - here he is in the Guts Nelson issue. Anything, this can’t be good.
Meanwhile in prison, Ben attempts to kill himself and is stopped just in time:
Tumblr media
(Please note if you read the comic that the attempt and method are shown on the page.)
This man is on death row, so why would he try to kill himself? He’s clearly terrified of the consequences of Matt and Dakota digging into this case, but why?
Meanwhile, Dakota’s father, a CIA agent, also shows up to warn Dakota off:
Tumblr media
Dakota’s like, uh, how did covering up the decapitation of three children become about national security, and also why are the CIA and the FBI working on the same case? This is extremely stinky.
Meanwhile, Matt and Foggy go to see Ben, who is even more insistent that Matt drop the case, this time practically to the point of hysteria. It does a number on Matt:
Tumblr media
Foggy is such a good friend! Matt is so sad! That is a very specific photo reference!
Back at the office, Becky gives Dakota some very good advice:
Tumblr media
As I said, I love Dakota, but she is a liar liar pants on fire. LISTEN TO BECKY!!! She had a crush on Matt and got over it! She has survived for three decades (now four)! She knows whereof she speaks!
Dakota and her flaming pants head out on the trail of another lead Becky has dug up, this time up at Columbia:
Tumblr media
Yeah. Big Ben Donovan has a son, and if he doesn’t take the rap for the triple homicide, whoever is actually behind it will kill his son.
As Dakota leaves the building, she is shot by a sniper. Meanwhile, Matt attempts to confront Slaughter and finds himself in a trap:
Tumblr media
In an extremely Murdocky move, Matt escapes by leaping out the window and through the sniper helicopter outside.
Meanwhile, Dakota is taken to the hospital. Matt blames himself. Becky, who has witnessed five fridgings by this point, is officially Done With His Shit:
Tumblr media
You tell ‘im, Becks! No but seriously, she’s completely right, because this is a Greg Rucka storyline: Dakota got shot because she’s a hard-nosed investigator whose personal demons won’t let her leave a case alone even when it puts her in danger. It actually has nothing to do with Matt except that he’s also working on the same case, and blaming himself won’t help her.
Instead, Matt tracks down the FBI agent who attacked Dakota, leans on him, and learns the truth: the children and their father were actually killed by Eric Slaughter’s right-hand man. Slaughter had ordered the father killed for stealing from him, and his killer went rogue and murdered the kids as well. But the feds are in bed with Slaughter, because they’re using his smuggling operations on the docks to track terrorist activity:
Tumblr media
If Slaughter’s man got arrested for the quadruple homicide, Slaughter would stop cooperating with the feds. So they gave him a fall guy, figuring Ben was a shitty person anyway and an acceptable loss in the ~War Against Terror~. It’s pretty disgusting all around and depressingly plausible.
Matt’s like “Well, arrest the real killer and let Ben go or this ends up on the news.” And he brings Ben a visitor:
Tumblr media
Little Ben is, unsurprisingly, rather touched to hear what his father was willing to sacrifice for his safety!
Agent North tells Slaughter that his free pass has expired:
Tumblr media
With all the loose ends wrapped up, Matt goes to see Dakota:
Tumblr media
Aw that’s nice. And hoo BOY that last panel is a Charlie Coxish expression if I’ve ever seen one. Can Michael Lark see the future???
Next Up: Greg Rucka leaves and the book gets lackluster again. But, um, there’s a lot of ninjas and more Milla-related ableism? Yay? Hold on to your butts, kids, it’s almost Shadowland time!

GG Rewatch  Q&A - 1x02
1. What was your favourite scene of the episode? Tell us why!
There are a lot of gems for me in this episode. Top 3:
Sarah’s soccer game - I love the Hills and all of their scenes are so genuine. I love when Stan yells “We’re winning!” and Sarah yells back “No we’re not!” Its so cute (I love a good father/daughter interaction and Stan is the best father on the show).
The Dick Pic - “She going to cut off his PENIS!”
“What am I LOOKING AT!”
I guess what I’m saying is I love any scene Ruby is in.
P.S. I also love the math tutoring scene but Ruby isn’t in it so point have to be deducted.
2. Was there any scene that missed the mark for you? And if so, how?
It didn’t necessarily miss the mark because it’s a bad scene or doesn’t fit with the story BUT I hate when Dean starts talking about Beth as if she’s a car. I hate Dean and I hate any scene he’s in (except when he gets shot...thats a fave).
That being said the overall scene is actually very funny. They should have made that customer trying to buy a car a running gag because that actor was very funny.
3. This episode features Beth’s iconic! gamechanging! monologue! Do you think Rio was intending to kill the girls? And if so, at what point in Beth’s speech do you think he changed his mind?
He was definitely going to kill them.
I don’t think the actual content of the speech changed his mind, but rather Beth herself having the nerve to stand up to him with a gun (literally) to her head. I actually think Rio probably has other ~nondescript~ people on his pay role and that he really didn’t need the girls to do anything for him. But I think Beth intrigued him enough in that moment that he wanted to see what she would do.
4. This episode also introduces Marion to us! What do you think of her? And knowing how her story ends in 3.08, what do you think of her arc and her relationships with Boomer and Annie respectively?
Marion reminds me a lot of my own grandmother, who loved me and raised me, but also called black people colored. My biggest issue with Marion is not with Marion as a character, but rather Annie’s connection with Marion.
Like they made Marion an overt racist and had Ruby point it out multiple times, but for what? I think they should have actually had Annie struggle with the reality of loving/caring for someone who is racist. That’s something that many people deal with and have to come to terms with in real life. It could have been interesting to explore those complex feelings. But instead they just have Ruby call her a racist twice.
Dont care about her relationship with Boomer - no thoughts on that.
5. Ruby has her only (so far at least) direct interaction with Rio in this episode! What do you think of that dynamic in this episode, and where would you like to see it go in the future?
How different would the show have been if they had made Rio bring the gang to Ruby’s house...
I want the show to explore Ruby and Annie’s relationships with Rio/the gang more. It would be both funny and interesting because:
They are both still afraid of him BUT they also know he had sex with Beth which I feel like Annie wouldn’t be able to help but comment on and if Annie says something Ruby would probably also say something; and
Ruby and Annie say absolutely wild things and we deserve to see Rio’s reactions more (i.e. Im not putting anything up my butt).
6. How do you think Beth and Annie got Boomer into the treehouse?
They tied a jump rope around his waste and dragged him up the slide.
7. This episode seems ambiguous about Greg and Nancy’s roles in Ben’s life up to this point. How long do you think Greg and Nancy have been together, and how close do you think Ben is with them at this point?
I think Nancy and Greg have been together between 3-5  years, but are recently married. Ben and Greg seem fairly close and I think Greg as always been involved in raising Ben. I think Ben likes Nancy generally, but probably finds her a little annoying. Also I think Ben likes being at their places and having all the comforts that they can afford BUT he’d never say that because he’s a mama’s boy.
8. Do you think Beth ever went back (or thought about going back) for Dean’s grandmother’s ring?
No.
9. What do you think Stan was thinking when he woke up to Ruby making all those lasagnas? What do you think he was thinking when he, Sara and Harry ate so much of it?
He probably thought she was stress cooking. I don’t think they ate that much of it, but just left the note as a way of telling Ruby they love and appreciate her.
10. Has Beth ever seen a dick pic before?
No, but I think Dean would have sent her one if he had a camera phone in high school.
11. Is Greg still in love with Annie at this point in the series? Or does he fall in love with her again later in the season? Or not at all?
I think he loves her at this point, but he becomes infatuated with her later.
12. That! Hook! What do you think made Rio go back to Beth’s house? What do you think made him take a chance on her?
He wanted to fuck her.

I enjoyed reading your long succession blogposts aaaaa Please also consider a more outlandish but fun concept: tomgreg roommate era but the Roy siblings decide to play the long game and pretend they don't know Tom ratted them out - nobody gets kicked out of their houses, Tom asks if he can go over to Greg's for "business matters" and Shiv's like "sure why not :)" and then the siblings tail them so they can dig up some dirt. Tomgreg catch on and try to cover up their tracks, shenanigans ensue
Ohhhh I have wondered if Shiv at least is going to try to pretend she doesn’t know since it gives her a bit of an advantage. (I’m not sure the other two know yet so it’ll be interesting to see if she tells them right away too or waits)
Also they do not know Greg is involved yet so it would be extremely funny if Shiv tried to approach Greg and get him to spy on Tom for her. She could easily give some kind of excuse like I’m worried about him he’s been off lately, etc
Or she could (less likely but not impossible) tell him straight up what Tom did and try to recruit him onto their team, not knowing he’s already sold his soul. Try to get him to be their inside man
She could try to pull the family card maybe. (I’m not so sure that will work anymore though lmao)
Hell even if they figure out he’s on Tom’s side (kind of a give in) they might still try to get him to turn and be their double agent. I’m not sure they’d succeed because he currently has the better deal w/ Tom and Logan. They’ve got nothing atm and have been cut out for the future.
So they don’t have anything offer Greg.
They might just straight up try to destroy him along with Tom him out of spite/perceived betrayal.
It’s kind of a mystery right now :D
So I’d say that’s not too outlandish. The Roys do love their games. And Tom not knowing they know does give them a bit of a advantage/room to maneuver.
That scenario you described tho would be kind of hilarious.
(I find the idea of Roman and Kendall spitefully spreading a rumor Tom and Greg fucking to be one of the funniest things I’ve seen suggested. Im not sure Shiv would be down since it’s her husband and kinda reflects on her in her eyes. Roman and Ken tho? Definitely.
It’ll destabilize their position with not only Logan if he believes it (although it is Mattsson who’s in charge now, Logan doesn’t hold nearly as much power even if he thinks he does)
But given that their audience is a bunch of conservative assholes…
Even funnier would the siblings finding out in the end that the rumors they spread are actually TRUE (or became true as a result of creating it and spreading it around (and forcing them to face their feelings for one another)
Oh oh but that + your scenario and every time Tom and Greg try to cover their tracks it makes them look more and more like they’re having an affair alsjdkdlf

Y’all Ready to STRETCH?
Lets talk about fusion weapons and relationships. Lemme just preface this with saying- While I think there are some more obvious examples that seem premeditated, I’m not about to say i think the crew actually saw all the equations and did this on purpose. This is just a coincidence that they might have noticed early on in design, and then ran with it when considering later fusions in the show. That being said, the general thesis of this is going to be analysing Fusion Weapons and how they can represent the relationship of the parties involved.
OPAL
Tumblr media
Weapon: Bow
Fusion: Amethyst and Pearl
When I said above that some of the fusions dont seem to have too much thought put into them, I was mostly talking about Opal. That being said, there is some conclusion you can draw from her having a bow. I think out of all the fusion weapons hers is the most outwardly aggressive in that theres no alternative use. Garnet’s gauntlets can be used as gloves, Sugilite’s wrecking ball can be used for demolition, and Sardonyx has a hammer, which is a tool before a weapon. But a Bow is solely combat focused, there isnt much else you can do with it. This can be representative of Amethyst and Pearl’s status as teammates, which is supported by the fact that Opal specifically fuses for utilitarian use. She represents a partnership built on trust and mutual respect, equal, two people who are happy to work together. Therefore, she cannot come out if those parties do not understand or trust each other, as we saw in her introductory episode. Interesting to note is that after Garnet and Stevonnie, she’s the third most common fusion to appear in the show- indicating how often Pearl and Amethyst rely on one another.
SUGILITE
Tumblr media
Weapon: Wrecking Ball
Fusion: Garnet and Amethyst
The obvious thing to point out here is that Sugilite has a wrecking ball and she is kinda a wreck. Her personality is vain, defensive, and attention seeking. She wants to show off for Steven and rub her existence in Pearl’s face. In most interactions between Amethyst and Garnet we see Amethyst trying to prove to Garnet that she’s good enough. Amethyst is starved for Garnet’s approval and this comes out in Sugilite’s defining strength and wrecking ball. But though effective, there isnt a lot of control in a wrecking ball. It doesnt matter what needs to be smashed or what the ramifications are, the gauntlet swings indiscriminately. This can be seen as Garnets frustration with Amethyst’s inferiority complex, assuming that she’s merely reckless and power hungry. Sugilite is defensive about her status as a fusion, feeding on Amethyst’s desire to prove herself and Garnet’s unfair expectations of her teammate. Its only through understanding just how hard Amethyst is trying that Garnet was able to give her the approval she craved, and my hope is that we’ll see that change in Sugilite if she ever shows up again.
MALACHITE
Tumblr media
Weapon: Chains
Fusion: Lapis and Jasper
...this one is pretty self-explanatory and all but explicitly stated in the show. moving on.
SARDONYX
Tumblr media
Weapon: Hammer
Fusion: Garnet and Pearl
As stated above, a hammer is something used to destroy and create. Its a toy and a weapon. Its a big strong blow but also precise. It full of contradictions, just like Pearl’s feelings towards Garnet. They used to be teammates, perhaps even one-sided rivals because Pearl wanted to be Rose’s favourite. But now Garnet’s like... her boss. Similarly to Amethyst Pearl has a desire to impress the new leader of the Crystal Gems, but perhaps relies on Garnet a bit too heavily as a replacement Rose. Instead of lashing out like Amethyst does, Pearl desperately tries to fill the void that Rose left in her heart, but in time, they manage to heal together in a healthy manner. A hammer is strong, how Pearl feels when she’s next to Garnet. A hammer is balanced, like the support of someone who loves you as an equal. Two sides of a hammerhead, the same weight and strength, working together as one. The hammerhead is also versatile, turning into a drill and who knows what else. Their dynamic is free to evolve outside the one sided love Pearl is used to, which is what Garnet really wanted all along.
SMOKEY QUARTZ
Tumblr media
Weapon: Yo yo
Fusion: Steven and Amethyst
Right off the bat, the important thing to notice about Smokey’s Yo yo is that its not especially dangerous. It can be used as a weapon, but more so than any other weapon we’d seen up until this point the yoyo is the most jovial and non-threatening. Furthermore, Steven and Amethyst’s relationship differs from the other Gems in that Amethyst isnt a mother figure to him. Where Pearl is nurturing and Garnet is supportive, the bulk of Amethyst and Steven’s more casual interactions were always sisterly in nature. They’d hang out, they’d eat junk food, play video games, watch cartoons. Bicker. She treats him more like a little sibling than a son. The two ‘weakest’ (youngest) members of a family that seems to be falling apart, Amethyst is always eager get Steven away from it all and just chill out for a while. At the core of their dynamic Steven and Amethyst want to play together, so their weapon is a toy.
RAINBOW 2.0
Tumblr media
Weapon: Umbrella
Fusion: Pearl and Steven
A taako reference? No!
Like with smokey, Rainbow doesnt so much have a weapon as he does an accessory. While it shoots rainbows and probably packs a punch, its primary use is to float, match his outfit, and protect from the rain. This dainty yet practical ‘weapon’ encapsulates the kind of mother pearl always was to Steven. She wanted to protect him, teach him, and help him grow. Steven saw her as beautiful, elegant, and full of answers. I’ve said before that out of the three OG crystal gems Pearl leaned the hardest into actually raising Steven. She was always eager to answer his questions and encourage his interests, and in return Steven was her #1 cheerleader and gave her unconditional love when they were together. The umbrella can also be reminiscent of Mary Poppins, which their early dynamic had shades of.
STEG
Tumblr media
Weapon: Guitar
Fusion: Greg and Steven
No dont look at that look at the guitar.
Now this one is a bit tricky, since we never see Steg summoning the guitar, more that he fused the guitars Steven and Greg already had. That being said, the fact that he’s able to use magic with it and the emotional significance im about to get into, its fair to say that this counts as his ‘weapon’ and metaphor for his bond as father and son.
Greg is kind of the heart of the show, even more than Steven at times. He is the living embodiment of Sugar’s main thesis about love and relationships, and very rarely does he appear as making the wrong decision. Endlessly patient, compassionate, and possessing an incredible emotional maturity, Steven’s power arguably originates more from the ideals his father taught him than any magic he inherited from his mother.
And Greg is the one who taught Steven to make music. In a show that heavily relies on music. In a show where music is the way in which all relationships are expressed to the audience. Greg taught Steven how to play the guitar, which is easily a metaphor for Greg teaching Steven how to love. The pure unconditional love between a father and his son, the kind of love that set the literal and metatextual stage for every relationship Steven would have in the future.
So its rather fitting that an instrument for music would be the thing that best encapsulates their relationship. What Steven takes the love and music he learned from his father and shares it with everyone. Just like the concert scene showed.
aaaaaand thats pm all i have to say about that. I avoided fusions that didnt have weapons or whose weapons were already analysed like Garnet’s gauntlets. If you have anything more to add, feel free to. I gotta get back to work.

This is the last human mimic alien we have to fight.
He's realized he's lost because you people aren't running wild having orgies and you're listening to the DNA4U
And further more You all don't want to share.
When i posted the video of Miss Shawntae telling snoop it was time to snoop her body up... And then Snoop went all seductive to the camera...
122895x1000= men that said "Nigga ima beat your ass you know my wo/man gonna see that. You ain't need to be showing yourself!".
76584284×1000= said "ew i hope i don't have my any asking me to do anything tonight after what i just seen. My imagination gonna kill myself! And i know that's just wrong wrong wrong!"
Now multiply the digits together before the multiplication sign and that is approximately minus 1000 That supported Snoops message.
I did all 3. I had to advert my eyes even. Although he couldn't even see me.
Now Snoop and i know each other over 8000zillion years. So i can easily put myself in his shoes.
So he would walk in and I be having sex and he just sit down and start having a conversation. Like we having BBQ ribs and not sexual intercourse.
His wife tho .... He would make sure "the white boy was covered" and tease her don't look. She look at the carpet... Eventually it kept going on so i took a picture off the wall and put it on the floor where she always sat.
She said "why you do that?"
"I realize the kids keep jumping on the bed and knock it off. Snoop stare at you If you move your face. And unless you're on LSD it's no fun staring at the carpet. So i gave it to you where it seems you always be looking although i had to take a pretty healthy guess. I just felt you was having the most miserable time of all and as my friend it was my honor to trip out and give you a gift"
She used the reflection to put on her makeup and slept in bed later.,Snoop quit being so paranoid. Cause she would face the wall and lean against him.
Point is... Snoop be all like he was watching sports to make sure we got the score.
I mean. Man. Earth. We tried everything we could to stop these aliens from wanting to habe orgies. Even, took, away, their dicks!!!
We did everything. Planet.
Y'all locked up with your soulmates made little difference on this kick of his.
I been doing it. I been riding like I been going around the world 500 times. I love sex.
82% of y'all all around the Earth been having sex.
4% have watched porno
18% have had 1 wild orgies of those 18% -- 32% had s second one. Of those 0.00004981% have gone onto a third.
Of those having 2 or more orgies 92% were aliens
Leaving 8% Of 18% of the entire world interested enough in watching or having sex with other people than their soulmate.
Who saved the world?
100% of humans.
You all get $5 and that includes children.
He's done all he could and he's failed. 100%
I think Edgar might be human... Looking at his alien structure in the film.
But he treated me like an alien. Im still a POW.
Alex had to sell a bed because he acted non human. And Alex worked hard on it to make it perfect for me.
I would been fine gloating from it. Fighting and being sassy to aliens.
But then someone claiming to care about me,most of all abandoned his son and law and daughter. And i hear stories of him being evil.
Some time ago they asked me "do you want a dad or mom?"
"No"
"We need to know because the future of the,Earth, depends on it. And the future of you. Now do you want a dad or,not?!"
"The question is will i remain needing a dad or father figure in the future. No i am fine. I have male role models to keep the species alive. Males. (Species not gender) I also have my mom in Mrs Harriet Tubmam. And if that fails then at that time i should be able to get the rest of me. But she's fine. I'm fine. I just got to remain stable. But adding a father or another mother i don't know just yet can remain disasterous."
Luckily Alex didn't burn the bed down. But it was, bugged and bombed by "Edgar", to me 'its just another one of those things we have to clean"
Do i care? Nothing. He doesn't affect me. I worry about Alex having to,deal with it. But,hes being, and, staying clean, and, then when he's,scared he stays by other cold turkey or non users. He was, around Crystal meth yesterday and he tasted 1/4 of a gram. Like when you would put your finger in the sugar jar. Then lick it. The other guy smoked 4.9876 ounces and blew it all in their faces including the babies. Thus Alex got 7.698 grams ingested via second hand smoke.
I didn't notice but we got in a fight with each other. Just like we always do.
Alex and i power punched him and his eye socket -- ocular bone -- was crushed like glass in 17 cracks.
His jaw I punched more alone but with Alex and total both sides he lost 9 teeth. And had to be wired shut after 72 stiches because i split his upper palate in two. I cracked his lower palate in 8072 places. So if you found a skull it would rest on powder of his lower jaw and then you'll find the upper. After decaying..
Then Alex on the top of his head had 49 stitches to repair his soft tissue from his frontal lobe when he crashed to the floor after the super punch to eye hit the coffee table.
He did get one "good" punch in -- his skull hit Alex right in the right eye.
It fucking hurt but it hurts in a good way. Its weird it's like "reward!" Pain. No suffering. Fucking got him good tho. We feel it every now and again. May be it is when he realises we will kill him for good. He keeps remembering that sudden silence of death.
He's currently on life support. "Medically induced coma" is our non panic code words. But it's basically life support but usually not full life support. It isn't 100% life support medical machines. Its 75% or less.
So technically it's life support and coma mixed. So we csll it medically induced coma. This way you understand if your family is the one on the machines -- it's only 25% body life.... However there's a 75% of recovery via healing machines.
The CIA. Willl decide when to pull the plug. Usually medically induced coma is someone evil or someone bad with the ability to be good. Usually aliens go straight to coma status.
If an alien will die it's 1st life support then coma. Your friend or family will die.
They said medically induced coma. But at this time. His brain is incapable of human thought so I am putting him on life support.
This makes it the family's wishes.
Most of the time "next of kin" is spouse then parents/siblings. Then children last.
Which is wrong. It should be the future. Thus Erica and Steven will ask the babies. And together they will decide.
Last night as a CIA operative while he was in a medically induced coma i was told by at least 1 child and 2 adults to pull. I reviewed. While they spoke from shock and relief their true feelings.
Knowing that the children escaped life with Eric once. I don't feel the right to allow Eric to live. I know the consequences of his actions caused two children to leave my planet in fear and terror and disgust because of Eric.
Erica was my 3rd pregnancy to abort and hold souls.
I hate Eric. That's why i punched him in the fucking face. I was happily surprised that Alex did it. Too in person.
Since the infants are involved and already resurrected. And had a nightmare of a time in less than 36 hours on Eaerth.
I allow them to be there to pull the plug, they can actually yank and pull the plug themselves.
So that is what i want and what the children need.
It will show Eric he doesn't belong here and has no,reason to,be at 25%
It makes life easier for all of us.
Eric was an outdoor kid. Like John and Jason and Greg. Etc. He never went into my school.
They didn't have to. And actually weren't ever enrolled. They liked the man work to learn to survive on their own.
While i taught the children the indoor stuff. The expansion of the mind.
I taught them the economy so the men working to increase their own economical structure could be helped to be taken in under their wings.
I left no one behind.
But he refused confirming.
1. Alcoholic system to drop other drugs. -- he uses crystal meth. Without cut backs. Without moderation
$5 if yoh remember and realized i said make smoothies without alcohol to share with your kids.
2. He blew it in their faces on purpose them injesting over 2.4 grams each.
Erica and Alex would cover their faces with thick blankets when the smoke came towards them.
It was quite a hostage situation. Knowing he could take the newborns and kill them in front of them.
Its happened to me 985 Point 2 times. I'm 35 years old.
875.8 times it's been with a knife.
Take the numbers and multiply by 10 million. For the last some kinda lots of 8 thousand zillion years.
It even happened to Alex. He he has the scars. From, this and last life., it,has happened.
So for me they're terrifying. Unless I'm there... I have saved 900 billion times 30 thousand. I those situations.
But i always remember the ones i lost.
So don't worry when I'm suicidal. Just leave me alone. Don't talk to me. I need silence.
So dead babies y'all.
Dead aliens.
It will be done
I seen that actually quite beautiful meme of April 2020 the clouds and UFO.
I don't get mad or violent because I'm stepped back to watch y'all cope.
But I say to y'all "fuck no that's not happening" I say to that UFO "Fucking try it you will all die" i just scroll on because I get so angry. I get so mad. Its a beautiful photo but i refused to repost it because it isn't something i support.
Most reposts of memes are supported unless i type something on the bottom. Saying it's not.
So my dad. I didn't care until i saw The Rock, "her dad is alive" all happy and in support.
Then i was bothered. Then I cared. Then i felt something about it. But until then i felt nothing.
I didn't feel shame..i felt that were all made of glass.
Because I was happy to have a dad.. One that seemed good. I was actually happy.
And it was kept personal to me... But then I saw the Rock felt it. Then I began to feel..
Broken. But Alex kept it together and started getting rid of the bed. Taking it down. Removing bombs. And fixing all that ass hole did "my dad"
I know the Rock.. He can handle. His dad just died. And we did a lot for him.
So for him to be elated. I get through the day thinking no one really cares what i feel and they don't pay kuch attention..but the Rock in that moment in time.
He was happy. And i knew then i had to Destroy a light of happiness inside him and he looked away from the camera to say "we are all happy. The while world"
DNA4U list one person as my father. He's my uncle..
Edgar claimed it was his 18th cousin.
You know, it doesn't matter.
Donate. Mr Lee Tubman. And more. They're my dads. They kept me safe. Taught me to be wiser and more caring about myself. Donte was 2 years younger than me. But he was a father figure. Guy was the fun dad. Fred Flintstone i called one friend's dad was the fishing buddy. We were not close but he was a silent father figure.
I stole all my friends dads. Borrowed them. Their moms, too.
I have 1800 moms that I call mom.
I know who my moms and dads are.
Just like Erica called me mom the other day and Brittany will too. And Alex my cousin's son. Candy. Brandy. Declan.
So i know i have a family that understands it doesn't matter how I got here. It matters who treated me well. Matthew McCognohey. Kid rocks. They're like my dad's and my kids. Uncles and Cousins.
Blood doesn't matter. Shit half the time Snoop is my God or dad or bother or husband or little kid i have to save. He's my friend.
Snoop is too much of everything. He is my co-nigger. My partner in many crimes against humanity (practical jokes)
I call him my Friend. But my family wouldn't be complete without him and Shawntae.
Harriet. I call her momma all the time. It feels natural. Sometimes i call her old lady.
So while i was joyful for a moment thinking I found someone that actually cared to find out he didn't.
I myself wasn't affected until i knew others would be
Its just a lesson in life. Don't trust people.
I told Alex abandon ship, fuck that place. Ain't no one can go in there!!
He understood and agreed then took the role "no,one is driving me and her from our home." He decided to defend the homestead. That is the role a man takes
Im all you gotta sweep the whole place, then, rest and do,it again,2 more times at least.,Then, again when,I,get there. If i get there.
But i feel good to know my lover isn't gonna let anyone drive him down. Just turn around. Learn a lesson. Clean the mess.
Why do i need a father when i have a man?
Clearly i am an independent woman and always have been.
But i need a family. Otherwise I have no point to live.
And that is why i am suicidal.
I don't see s point to live. Not when Alex and i fight and i don't want him to talk to me cause some alien got in our way once again.
He was double attacked by aliens.
So if their desire is for me to die... Then they should keep, doing it.
If,not they need to stay out of my way so i can,get my family, together again.,in,real life.
My family that I know is my family. Not aliens. Not fans. Not someone that needs to apologize to me or needs an explanation.
People that can think on their own and not be reminded they need to have love in their spirit.
Now Snoop sometimes plays the role of my brother. And we are competitive. It just makes us proud of each other and ourselves for surviving a challenge. I do it to him too but I play old hard skill. He plays old new remember when. I do ancient V-Ball and he does pop and country experience.
So his spirit is of an ego -- which salutes the fact we will grow.
Often we do the spirit of mischievous. To remind danger still exists but we will have fun and love in the end.
Friend. Someone that is gonna fry you but the end od what matters.
Sometimes we relax and chill. But them old cogwheels of the mind never quit rolling. Advance. Advance. Lets keep it going don't stop.
He's like me. Suicidal.
But he used to release his inner poison. Now he makes it not exist by doing something else ....
But me? Nothing helps but the mimic of death itself. Silence.
People are what causes it. Alien people.
So you humans. Keep on being you.
Its you that is gonna save the world
I gave you guidelines to help us out this mess.
Because I can't even see y'all because the aliens surrounding me trying to get my last breath.
Show me you. Save us. You're doing good
I got $5 on y'all that we make it.

onision.co questions part 1
Greg / James is answering questions on one of his sites. I don’t suggest posting any questions or even going there to read his answers because he’ll just deflect and profit off the site traffic due to the excessive ads. I posted kinda relevant questions he answered so you don’t have to visit the site. I’ll post more as the day goes on.
Why are you a pedofile? Just that, love to know considering im an ex fan of yours
Onision Staff replied 2 hours ago
Pedophiles are attracted to prepubescent kids. There is nothing attractive about kids.
hey dude how does it feel to have videos about the horrible shit you did show up before your channel does on YouTube search results
Onision Staff answered 2 hours ago
It’s nice to know so many people think I’m relevant.
Why are you like this? Seriously greg wtf is your problem????

Who is Greg? And I mean, we all have problems. You have to be specific.
What steps are you making to overcome your NPD? I know its fairly rare for sufferers of NPD to seek treatment but I am curious as to whether you’ve ever overcome this hurdle and looked into therapy/counselling. Apologies if this is too personal. Love the content and I know you’re more than just your disorder.
Onision Staff answered 2 hours ago
I’ve only ever been diagnosed with depression. Maybe you’re mistaking me for someone else.
Tweets  hey are you trying to bust a nut on twitter right now or something?  like bruh wtf.

lmao peace out tell your dogs I say hi
Change in your views? First of all, thanks for taking the time to answer questions 🙂I’m a little miffed, it must be said since it seems your principles have changed over the past few years. Previously you said you wouldn’t associate with anyone who sent minors nudes. Why is Kai the exception to that rule? Or have you changed your overall opinion?Hope you’re holding up okay x
Onision Staff answered 2 hours ago
Kai has never had any interest in doing anything like that. If you knew him, you’d know that. What you see online is a massive distortion of the truth. Sending anyone images like that has always been wrong.
sad boi  is lainey crying?
Onision Staff answered 2 hours ago
Who is Lainey?
Behavior… Hey James! Another question for you! Can you explain why you were rude as all hell to Sarah up until a month before she turned 18? Could it possibly be that you wanted her to want that validation and niceness from you after years of cruelty? And why the fuck are you shaming a child about her sexual activity to the point that she cries about it? A child, dude.
Onision Staff answered 2 hours ago
I was rude because I only want adult friends.
"Barely Legal"???? Hey James! So I’m curious. You said that you have a preference for women in their 20s/30s, and that the last “barely legal” person you were with was Kai. Did you forget about Sarah and Billie?
Onision Staff answered 2 hours ago
Legal age in Washington state is 16… I have not been with anyone who is 16 in my life. The last time I dated anyone who was even close, was Kai about 7 years ago, who I have been married to about seven years as well.
Ew… Hey James! So, my question was… Why are you so fucking nasty? First the news breaks that you and Kai groomed and bedded Sarah within 4 months of her turning 18 and after being her legal guardians and adults who were supposed to keep herself. You yourself described her as a foster daughter didn’t you? And now we know the real story behind all of those disgusting videos you posted of your poor ex… who you also groomed while still married to your ex wife! Wow, what a busy man.

It’s funny seeing people believe everything they read online.

I mean the receipts are there. Your silence on the matter also speaks volumes. You can dismiss it as not wanting ‘drama’. The truth is that you know you don’t have a leg to stand on. The truth is out there and you’re not HONEST enough to admit it.
Onision Staff replied 2 hours ago
Johnny Depp was pretty silent too ~ Some people are just grown ups who don’t want to participate in meaningless wastes of time, that is, internet drama. If you don’t like me, you’re welcome to leave. Go be happy.
replied 2 hours ago
Being accused of grooming children isn’t “internet drama”. Johnny Depp also denied the accusations. The fact that you don’t have any actual defense except “I don’t wanna talk about it” really speaks on the validity of it.
Onision Staff replied 57 mins ago
Johnny Depp and I both denied the accusations because both accusations are ridiculous.

yeah !! i really wanted to see ed and jo, and it turns out katy is weird as fuck so that’s a definite treat. didn’t realise david would have such serious hugh dennis energy (as in, just doesn’t give a single shit, does he?). i was disappointed to see greg doing what he’s done the last couple series and giving everyone 2+ points even though someone should have to get 1 point no matter how well they did, because that causes a lot of drama which i think is hilarious. i really hope greg and ed’s friendship, which is quite close, gets some screentime too :) seems to be shaping up to be fun!! did you enjoy it?

i don’t necessarily dislike political comedy, but it becomes very repetitive after a while, and there’s only so much nihilism i want to absorb in one sitting, you know? it’s very often my sense of humour, it’s just that it drains me a bit. as well, there are only so many interpretations of the same news you can hear over and over (mtw, hignfy, breaking the news, the last leg, etc.), especially since everyone is mostly on the same side of the political spectrum, so some shows really lose their general interest factor for me. is hignfy even watchable without the right guest host these days? hmm
