I talked about it before, but I was in high school when the idubbz slur era was at his peak. He basically gave a pass to edgy high school boys to say the n word freely, I personally saw this. My friend's annoying ass cousins were idubbz fans and started saying the n word every other sentence after the tana mongeau drama happened. I really fucking hated his "all or nothing" idea when it came to slurs. His catch phrase was literally "(n word) faggot" and he said that to people to get a rise out of them on purpose. He did this for years until youtube started demonizing him. His apology was honestly far too late, 5 years too late, he made a whole generation of edgy teenagers who didn't understand nuisance; not that there was nuisance, they were fucking slurs. People with underdeveloped brains aren't really thinking about "he's right, we should remove power from words" they just hear the funny youtuber say hey let's say slurs because it gets snowflakes angry

I think most normal people would go, yeah he shouldn't have done any of that. So when Charlie said he shouldn't have apologized, I lost what little respect I had for him. He seems like a people pleasing fence hopper to me, and I think his opinion was in the minority. Ian wasn't exactly making highbrow art pieces 😭 "spit in the face of fans" when Ian made decent at the time fancy callout videos of YouTubers everyone already hated. He stopped making them years ago, and most of his fans grew out of him. Of course Charlie doesn't care, he's not affected by these slurs. He couldn't even pretend to care and at least lied saying idubbz shouldn't have done that. Anyway I don't know how to end this penguinz0 just makes very low effort and lazy content idc I'm just annoyed that other youtubers keep mentioning him like he's some youtubing god

Ngl with the amount of antis who interact with my works or end up following me on social media I’m REALLY losing my empathy for when they freak out about proshippers following/interacting with them. Like. Why the fuck am I putting in all this effort to unfollow and block antis, checking for DNIs and signs of discomfort so I can respect their boundaries, when 90% of the time they don’t do the same? I can understand not checking everyone who follows YOU, but following others? Not even a brief check? Does there need to be a giant neon glowing sign for them to take the hint?

I still tend to unfollow/unmutual antis, if not hardblock them depending on how bad they are, but it’s really fucking funny how quickly they’ll victimize themselves for being in the proximity of a proshipper that they themselves followed and who doesn’t really keep it a secret. In a weird way I’ve started taking pride in the antis who leave kudos on my AO3 and shit. I don’t owe ‘em shit, I don’t consider practically anyone on social media to be a friend outside of Discord, I lose nothing for them fucking off or sticking around at the end of the day. If they end up throwing a hissyfit over what other content I write in my own time that’s their problem lmao.

Though I really should write more problematic Cuphead fics. Might get some of them to take the hint. For as much as I love TCS, I’m really beginning to miss the Cuphead game era of fandom where seeing problematic content was pretty common place, even if 2016-2018 was the peak of stupid cringe culture content online. I think that was my first exposure to Cupmug/Cupcest actually lmfao. Adult YouTubers pointing and laughing at it and calling it ‘cringe’, blasting it in front of their knowingly underage fanbase because cringe content was majority consumed by dumb preteens. Funny how that works out eh?

Side note: Calamug, Devilcup, and Devilmug were all also decently popular ships back in 2017. Devildice was still easily the biggest, but do not fucking think there weren’t HEAPS of toxic fics about ‘em. Everyone knew they were at least a little fucked up and unhealthy. Boss and employee is a power dynamic. Hot power dynamic, yes, but one regardless. The hypocrisy in this fandom is hilaaarious.

Anyways. I’ll get around to Ch 2 of Don’t Stop Singing eventually. It’s still in the works. I’m just frankly exhausted with the current state of the Cuphead fandom, though I guess at the absolute least most of the cesspit is contained to Twitter. Not to say there aren’t antis on here, but there’s way less. I can deal with muting people on AO3 if it means I can enjoy myself in peace. Granted, after I post ch 2 of that fic, I’ll probably move on to another fandom for some time. Again: not that I don’t enjoy Cuphead still, just kind of tired. I’m still eager to hear more news, but if we don’t get a new season, then. Oh well I guess. At least I can take solace in the fact that none of the folks that worked on the show particularly care about this stupid internet shit-- Dave Wasson and Grey DeLisle interacting with/outright shipping Chadice respectively, DD also interacting with both proshippers and antis amicably. It’s just suffocating as an actual writer and fancreator being mostly unable to engage with the fandom (or most fandoms tbqh) without putting up a bunch of emotional barriers.

I didn’t even get hit with harassment as heavily as some other proshippers in the fandom. Won’t name anyone in particular of course, but I’ve watched people get bullied off the platform while antis gloated after the fact. I was harassed by a popular fanartist who STILL interacts with my works and the most amicable assumption is just that he doesn’t know it’s me. I got the LEAST bad harassment, but that required me putting up all these emotional barriers and blocking like half of the fandom.

All so I can not worry about possibly being harassed. Possibly. And it’s so fucking tiring to have to do all the time, but I refuse to abandon my values just because it’d be ‘easier’. No amount of not labeling myself as proship would change the fact that I like and have both written and consumed problematic content for well over a decade. And I would not give it up for the fucking world, because I think as someone who went through utter HELL in real life, that if nothing else I should GET to express what that did to my brain instead of censoring it for a bunch of internet nobodies who don’t truly care for someone like me to begin with. It’s a lot easier to burn out on fandom when you both can’t make friends, and also don’t want to, because the first time you tried you got harassed.

I’m eternally grateful for the other proshippers and neutrals in the fandom. Keep on chuggin’.

last song: had to check my youtube history because i rarely listen to music and apparently it was precious by depeche mode on July 12th, lol. it's the soundtrack at the end of bones 1x10 and rewatching the episode always makes me want to listen to the song again.

currently watching: of the shows that are still on right now, only what we do in the shadows. (i think how i met your father s2 officially ended, i mean to pick nancy drew back up but i don't remember where in s3 I fell behind) but i'm in a perpetual process of rewatching/watching so many things, just since the beginning of the summer i've rewatched s3-5 of community, the entirety of black books, went back to white collar which i had abandoned after s2 and watched s3-4 in full before getting distracted, i am also in a neverending rewatch of castle and bones that's been going on since like 2016. earlier this year i was rewatching rizzoli&isles, warehouse 13, grimm, etc. did not finish them all. i jump around a lot depending on my mood. also mean to get back to my lucifer and wynonna earp rewatch at some point. i very rare finish shows and then i get back and have to start from the beginning and then i don't finish anyway, it's a vicious circle, i don't like saying goodbye. also i have no attention span. i guess technically i am also in the process of watching hawaii five-0 but i haven't watched any new (for me) episodes in a loooong time because canon is such a drag compared to the happy au land i've been living in. i do also watch some shows that are on hiatus right now but i probably wouldn't even remember them all. i only remember when they come back. suffice to say i watch a lot of tv lol.

currently reading: embarrassingly, nothing. only stuff that comes up on my tumblr dash 🤷🏻‍♀️. i haven't even read fanfic since ao3 was blocked in my country in april of this year. because of how my brain works if you add an extra step to something i am used to doing (aka i have to turn on vpn to open ao3 links) i am just that much less likely to do it. i miss losing myself in a book but my brain is too preoccupied by my blorbos to be able to invest in anything new.

current obsession: probably shocking to no one who follows me, it's mcdanno. this ship ate my brain in november of 2021 and since then its hold on me has not lessened at all, probably got worse, lmao. i found myself unable to gather any feelings about any of my old long time ships because all that space has been eaten up by steve and danny's insane chemistry and frustrating and wonderful epic love story. also within the mcdanno fandom the obsession of recent months has been building/brainstorming aus with aron @emphasisonthehomo (best rp partner one could wish for) . and i guess you can call making mcdanno screencap edits and metas an obsession of its own.

Do you have a lot of different farms in stardew valley or go very long with just one? Also if you have different farms do you do any challenges or goals to keep it varied?

I have over 1,600 hours and have had over 15+ farms in Stardew Valley, and I tend to get bored around the year 3/4 mark, so I've never made it to year 5 in any of them. I started playing in 2016.

I played the first 10 or so without any mods at all, and most of my farms happened before the Ginger Island update, and things like that. Farms 10-13 had some cosmetic and quality of life mods (i.e. mods that let me know when I had hugged a chicken, so I didn't go and accidentally hug it again, and the 'No Children Ever' mod - the BEST - no kids, and don't even get asked to have them, perfect), and farms 14 and 15 actually have some 'cheat' mods to make it easier to play and more relaxing (instant catch for the fish, instant kill for the enemies).

I don't really have any obvious challenges or goals because I like to relax when I play it, so there's no point in making it harder for myself, right? It's very easy for me to max out all my skills to 10 before the end of year 1 for example (I'm usually level 5/6 on fishing with zero mods before the end of Spring, year 1), and usually all I need before the end of year 2 are the rest of the artefacts (I will have all the fish / crops / Community Centre etc.)

I'm not a hardcore min-maxer, but I do lean towards efficiency and low-key min-maxing, which means by the time money is pouring in, I'm ready to restart, because my favourite part of the game is starting to get all my goals. By the time I can sell my Iridium bars in stacks of 100 because I just have too many, I don't really see the point anymore, lol.

The game has actually changed a fair bit since I started playing it, we have a lot more quality of life changes now. There are new crops. There's new buildings. There's new farm animals. There's new scenes with the NPCs. The maple syrup bear, lmao. The little notes and magnifying glass. I've thought a little about trying Stardew Valley Expanded (a mod) but realistically what happens is I play for a little while quite intensely, and then I get bored and forget, and then I come back an old farm and can't remember what my routine was, so I just start a new farm. I'm actually in a 'I should probably update my mods and start a new farm' right now. So I haven't played Stardew Valley in a while.

I'm at the point where I've deleted quite a few of my farms, because I know I'll never go back to them, though I still have around 8 in the list.

I've never played multiplayer because I can't stand it (not being able to pause ruins the whole game for me), and I've only ever married/bonded to four candidates! Sebastian, Alex, Elliott and Krobus. I'm good at giving advice to newbies and even 'mid-tier newbies' (i.e. those who have only completed one farm and have about 60 hours under them), and otherwise just want people to enjoy the game and make it enjoyable for them. Stardew Valley is one of the best games to mod for your comfort (or challenge), and folks who can make the most of it should feel free to without guilt.

I've seen on YouTube some of the challenges people come up with - no farming for 100 days, no leaving the farm for 100 days, no talking to NPCs for 100 days, and so on. Idk, that's not really my thing. If I want to stress myself out, I'll just play Elden Ring or something.

I have decided I'm going to watch the new Ghibli movie when it comes out. I saw ads for it in Japan (just posters on the movie theater wall at the mall, they intentionally didn't advertise the movie At All before releasing it there) and it was more intriguing than some of the other movies coming out (looking at you, ghibli look-alike about a chair??? who okayed that premise) but the timing wasn't right, plus I'd have to watch it all in actual Japanese and while I could do that for something simple like Way of the Househusband (great movie btw but I didn't know enough lore apparently) I figured I'd want to follow this one a bit better. Plus, my boy Yonezu Kenshi contributed to the soundtrack, so I have to watch it to support.

This movie is the first in a while (I'm not googling to see if this is correct) with the old duo of Hayao Miyazaki and Joe Hisaishi, and while there have been....other movies in the last 10 or so years....miss little witch etc was never very compelling for me. But based on the barely-over-a-minute trailer...I'm ready. We've got the creepy soundtrack, the same solid style, but somehow a level up in the animation?! some random old ladies, cute spirits, it's got it all. What it also has, very importantly, is a war reference. We all know Miyazaki remains heavily influenced by his nostalgia of wartime Japan (and aren't all of us (Please Read/Watch In This Corner Of The World)) so it's not surprising to see some bombings here. Some fire there. I'll bet you $5 there will be a plane in there somewhere. Mans loves his planes.

Anyway add onto that the ~mystical elements~ weebs like to love about Japan (please read Orientalism by Edward Said also) and I'm sure this will sell well. And I'm also sure, I'm probably gonna love it lmao

I was reading the official description on GKids which I guess is the site of the producer and distributer in America, and they mention Yonezu, my boy, right under Miyazaki. Joe isn't there. Poor guy. Anyway they say about Yonezu: "After posting a series of Vocaloid tracks under the moniker Hachi, Kenshi Yonezu distinguished himself from the crowd with remarkable results." This is. a severe understatement. I think I might end up writing my thesis on Vocaloid and the impact it STILL has on children today in America and Japan (my kids always played popular songs during lunch/cleaning and during sports, basically anytime the broadcast club had control; some of the kids in the art club literally only drew Ms Miku fanart) and amongst that Huge Library of Music (I won't call it a genre bc thats not what it is), Hachi was like. Top 10 if not Top 5 if not Top 3 most popular. If you listened to vocaloid at all before 2016 you know Matryoshka. That's Hachi. He was a wonder to all of us middle schoolers. More recently, he came out with Sand Planet, about the way time has changed Vocaloid and the people who enjoy and produce it. It was also really cool.

I learned about his Real Name career a bit after it had happened. I stumbled on Mad Head Love one day on my youtube rabbit holes, and it slapped, and I was like oh it's that guy. But then I lost track, forgot his name, and generally wished him well from afar. And then ! I refound him! And have loved him ever since (not really some of his recent stuff is weird but - actually hang on lemme actually write this)

Recently, and I mean in the last oh 3 or so years, he's done what a lot of popular Japanese artists do - make anime music. Some of it's okay, some of it is Absolutely His Thing, and some of it is like every other anime op ever and not very impressive. Spinning Globe (the song in this movie) is Pretty Good I think. I listened to it while crying on the plane on the way back to America. The lyrics are simple and easy to understand, it's got his plodding beat and an easy background. I could probably transcribe the piano part in 15 minutes. "The day I heard a voice patting me on the back, telling me to go ahead" is like. well it was really relevant to my personal time in Japan and a lot of the issues I've been facing so maybe I'm biased!

Yonezu is so popular that he literally wrote a song for the Tokyo Olympics. He represents Japan. He has been a top singer in Japan for 10 years. This started with his landslide take over of Vocaloid music. Even my students who didn't know literally any celebrity knew him. And I know this is the English website so they probably don't expect anyone to know who he is, and don't care about the understatement, but listen. Yonezu if you're out there and you want anyone to write you PR in English. I've got u.

The Japanese title is 君たちはどう生きるか. It's based on a book of the same name from 2016. I'd literally translate that title as "How do you live" with the 'you' being plural, like 'you all'. I don't know anything about it. It's apparently semi-autobiographical. But they've chosen to translate the title as "The Boy and the Heron," the choice of which could be a thesis in itself. But I wish it had come out just a little sooner, because one of my favorite games to play with my kids was getting them to guess titles to ghibli movies in English and they would've lost their minds over this one.

When I got word my dad was in the ICU a week ago for having fluid in his brain. I was so scared he wasn't going to make it, but he did, and now he's feeling better amd his headache is gone!!! Like, I cried for a week every. Single. Day. I was worried as fuck. He also got out the icu yesterday and is home now. He has a walker (he's officially a old man now lmao)

No, and I don't want any. I don't want to be a mom, ever. I do want to be an aunt though. Thankfully, I'm going to be one 11 after my 27th birthday (September 16th)!!! My best friend's pregnant!!!

Your trevor meta is making me realize how weird it is that the writers and cast were so insistent that mickey wasn't coming back, because I don't think theyve ever really known what to do with ian's story without him. They put him in these lukewarm relationships and tell us they're so much better and healthier, but then have ian straight up admit that he still loves mickey and nobody else has made him feel the same way. How do they set that up and then have him go back to trevor? They set up ian moving on with "I'm not that person anymore" and follow up with season 8. It's like okay...who he is now is gay Jesus? Lmao. He's always been the shows forgotten middle child and after they wrote mickey off "for good" they could have taken him in a million directions but they chose one so shitty it basically made cam leave lmao. Sometimes it feels like fan insistence kind of forced mickey back but in actuality, the seasons where he's gone just hammer home that he was always the inevitable end to ian's story. So bizarre how little the showrunners understand their own story sometimes.

Ok. I’m going to be a little more Doylist here than I usually am, because we’re talking about what the writers are thinking. And I’m also going to take this opportunity to share this fascinating article from the AV Club in 2016: When Fan Engagement Goes Wrong. Everyone beware, it contains significant spoilers for The 100. But it’s also largely about Gallavich, the fact that online promotion of Shameless leaned hard into the popularity of the couple, and were up against it when Noel left. I’ll quote: 

“[Supervising Producer Shelia] Callaghan’s choice to be honest and straightforward when engaging with fans is admirable, and yet also on some level futile. She can’t tell them exactly why Fisher chose to leave, she is (logically) unwilling to spoil future storylines outright, and she can only speak her own mind as part of a collaborative process over which she holds only some influence. So while many fans respect her effort to maintain the connection to this now marginalized community, others attack, reinforcing that attempting to manage these situations is a full-time job that no one has been properly trained for.” 

This article links some tweets and the one I find the most interesting is this one:

“But the actor left.  So...what to do? Have them just break up?? Felt way less true to me than a forced separation!” 

That tweet is from Krista Vernoff, who wanted to convey that they tried really hard to come up with what they do with Ian now that he’d lost Mickey. And I’m sure they did try really hard. And.... People hated it. Mostly. 

Here’s what I think, based on what I’ve read and the interviews I’ve seen, on deleted tweets and Tumblr rumours and YouTube clips: The show didn’t want Mickey to leave the canvas. At all. Noel wanted more money. The show could not come up with both that money and the money they needed for everyone else. The show let him go. And hoped they could solve the creative problem their budgetary problem had dumped in their lap. 

I actually think Ian’s story in season six is decent. I miss Mickey, of course. I find the last scene with him really painful -- but it’s not painful because the show is trying to diminish him. They write and then cut together a scene where Mickey is DEMONSTRATIVELY still deeply in love with Ian. He’s carved his name in his chest. He is looking at Ian like he’s the most beautiful creature ever given breath. And Ian can barely meet his gaze. They tell us Mickey is being sent away for 16 years but when we see the last of Mickey Milkovich in season six I think “God, this is so sad. They love each other so much and this is so fucked up.” 

I do NOT think “We are NEVER EVER EVER getting back together.” 

The show always knew what it had with Ian and Mickey. They leaned into it promotionally. They gave meaty storylines to the characters, particularly given that Ian was the fourth lead on a family dramedy built around six children. John Wells replaced Aaron Sorkin on The West Wing. He knows how hard it is to follow a phenomenon. 

The more I think about it, honestly? I don’t think they tried. I think they knew that they couldn’t bring in Mickey Milkovich, the sequel in season six, so they brought in Caleb. And maybe they meant for him to be a LITTLE more viable than he was... but I think there’s a pretty good chance they were just throwing something at the wall to see if it stuck, while being fully aware that the important storyline in season six was getting Ian from despair to a fulfilling career. Caleb was just there as a catalyst. 

Season seven if more interesting, because Trevor is brought on and it’s very much... “Hey, let’s do something new. Let’s bring on a transmasc character and put him into a relationship with Ian and explore those complications.” 

“Great! Put it up on the board!” 

“Also. Let’s call Noel Fisher’s people and see what we can work out because we can do better with Mickey’s send off and people are yelling at me on the street about it.” 

Quite honestly, these are not equal tasks for his writer’s room. You have one story -- Create a whole ass new character. The only thing we know is that he’s trans. Figure out the romance from there. You have six episodes to get them together as an established couple. 

Then: Bring back the well-established and beloved character for an epic romantic two-episode arc where he reunites with his true love and they run away together and then ultimately realize it cannot be, and say goodbye and it all feels like I Will Always Love You should be playing in the background. They actors worked together for five years. They have a great professional partnership. They like working together. They have a ton of history so there’s lots of juicy subtext. The longing and sexual tension comes pre-established. See what you can do. 

HOW do you make both those things work out so that they are equal? You need lightening to strike. And that already happened on How I Met Your Mother. They squandered their good luck and now there is none left for Shameless. I do not disparage Elliot Fletcher at all when I say that for Trevor and Ian to really work he’d have had to have come with scorching chemistry with Cam, rich material that really gave them a good opportunity to build rapport between the characters, and A wizard standing by to cast spells in the wings. They had SIX episodes, a pretty average connection between the actors, and the “these are the LGBTQ+ people in your neighbourhood” scene. 

I just can’t believe that someone with as many years of TV writing under his belt as John Wells has expected that to work. He hoped the Trevor story might be good, and was certainly going to break some ground in terms of telling trans stories. And the Mickey story was going to be the highlight, because he knew people wanted it and he also knew that they’d had something pretty special to start with. Which is why people were yelling at him at Comic-Con. I DO think he hoped it might placate fans a bit. But... he wasn’t going to completely close the door on Mickey this time, either. 

So... I don’t really think the show every intended to write Mickey off “for good”. I think they wrote him off “for now, and we’ll see what happens...” -- and they did that with Karen, Shelia, Jody, Steve and Fiona, too. They only brought a few of those people back... They brought Mickey back three times. They ended Gallavich FOUR times. Noel is in ever season except eight. I don’t think they wanted Mickey gone -- but I KNOW the fans also made it pretty hard for them not to know his value, so absolutely I think that played a role. But when you create something people love and you get that lightening in a bottle like they did with this story, I think writers are always going to be excited to get that back. They like praise! They like people to be excited about their show. And Gallavich was always one of the things that got people excited about Shameless. 

I think they also wanted Gay Jesus to be a great story. But that’s why the lightening in the bottle is so valuable. You can’t just get it anywhere.

I’ve been feeling so many things in the past month and I’m at my limit (๑•ૅㅁ•๑) I’ve been feeling so rushed to post many illust lately, I love drawing, I really do <3 I like posting a lot even if these posts doesn’t attract a lot of attention, I’m not that type of person that does something just for attention, I won’t do something I don’t like, that’s why you see that I post fanart from different anime (⁎⁍̴̆Ɛ⁍̴̆⁎)

BUT I feel like drawing a lot is draining the small amount of life I got lol, I know drawing is not everything in life… I want to enjoy doing stuff other than drawing, I miss watching anime and ENJOY IT. Last year due to certain things happening irl I didn’t enjoy sao to the fullest :( then I wanted to watch a new anime in october but I felt like I needed to draw instead and that made me realize that I got really obsessed with drawing </3 and drawing has taken me to another level specially my days off when I’m at home all by myself: “I want to draw more than I want to eat so let’s draw yay”.

I hate myself but at least I think this is too much right? I’m tired of it actually :( I feel like this is not me, I know my old art sucked and still sucks lolol but I enjoyed drawing and doing some other things at the same time, I wasn’t so into drawing back then as now (…let those doodles tell otherwise… I mean I didn’t feel so rushed lmao) so that’s why I’m taking this break, I want to enjoy life as I did in 2015, bcs as I’ve said several times on twitter, 2015 was THAT YEAR for me. Uhh I am an a native amercan mixed kid AND an Aquarius ugh I’m so unique right. I was raised by a raver and a metalhead skater in Vegas. I’ve been in the pit since I was 4 years old (specifically at a Primus concert LMAO).

The first fandom I was in was Creepypasta, and I was about 8 years old. It’s funny because the first musician I ever actively liked was Madame Macabre. 

As a child (like 7-11) I mainly listened to Vocaloid, Madame Macabre, and Nicki Minaj.

When Avengers came out I was still in elementary school. And .. Loki... wrjhfbwejdhb bro!! gay awakening!! holy shit. I was in love with him but I didn’t want to admit it smh shhh.

The first anime I ever watched was Black Butler. I was IN LOVE with Joker from Book of Circus ehbwdjqshdfb. The last episode of that season ended the day I moved to California. I remember crying bc of the last scene inside of the moving truck.

I also got into Fairy Tail a lot. Also tragic. I had the hugest crush on Gajeel Redfox mmmmmemdwkgsnekfdjsglkvcx

I live in the Bay Area, and grew up in the same house, compared to living in Vegas where I moved every two years. There are ... so many poc here ... and in vegas I was in a class with all white people. Being around so many poc was so like ?? fun ?? idk how to describe it but it feels like how life should feel like; not stressful at all.

I started listening to goth music when I was 12 because I was in the Mr. Creepypasta amino and somebody was like “you guys should join the goth amino” and I was like oh that sounds so fun !!! Boom... goth Mod Souda arrived.

I was all about Sopor Aeternus and Switchblade Symphony. 

I discovered my lifelong favorite artist in like 2016. It was because I was making playlist for my Fairy Tail oc (tragic) and I added this song I got off of a “Creepypasta Theme Songs” and it was Bernadette by IAMX (which was assigned to Laughing Jack). And I listened to the song and was like meh this is cool. Then one day I played the playlist and it just.... hit different. LMAO I was like waiitittttititit. The next day, on the way to the airport, I downloaded all 7 (at the time) of his albums and listened to them the whole way. I’ve seen him live too like mm chris corner I love you.

I got into DR in 2015 because of an edit of (anime) Syo and Junko to Pound the Alarm LOL. I was like “this looks cool” so I watched it on my phone while sitting on the couch all in one go. Spoilers but I cried the most when mondo and sakura died, fun fact. Life went down from there smh!! 

I really believed that I was dating Gundham Tanaka. Like everything in my life was Gundham Tanaka related like I was ... obsessed with him. And I coudln’t see art of him and sonia because it would make me have a breakdown bc I thought he was cheating on me PLZ BHDSABHJBAHAAHHA it’s funny because I kin sonia now and I’m in love with her.

This was the same year where I ???? got bruises on my eardrums somehow (I asked my dad recently how I got them and he went uhh idk) ???? and I couldn’t hear anything for like three years plz. My hearing has gotten better but idk if my ear percentage is 100%/100% or if I’m just grateful it isn’t what it is before LMAO so that’s when I started learning ASL.

This is also the same year where I got hospitalized for being a neurodevelopmental schizophrenic lol OOPS !

Freshman year of highschool I started dating an emo kid who brought his electric guitar to school. TRAGIC. We dated for like two years please what.

Sophomore year I started getting into metal and punk. This is mainly because I went to a Slayer concert. I was trying to branch out of my goth bubble and !!! metal really stuck with me. My favorite subgenre is goregrind. It’s mmm so good. Punk... was a miss. I absolutely hate punks. POST talking about louis' situation n there might be more than 20 paragraphs for all i know but i didn't bother counting but its SO FUCKING FUNNY how these ppl claim that they dont care about louis then write PARAGRAPHS discussing in perfect details about louis tomlinson's label, management, promo cycle and charts which even I and many louis' fans dont know.

Almost as if these ppl are wayy more obsessed with louis than his OWN FANS lmao. Also second thing thats annoying me about this post is that shes acting like its only the artists with "real talent" and "public pull", attention of GP and fan following who get good promo, media and GP attention as if there arent loads of artists who dont even have half of Louis tomlinson's fanbase and attention and yet get booked for big gigs and promo spaces and have their songs get high radio play and recognition and youtube views.

In 2016-17 niall and liam didnt even had half of solo fanbase as louis did. Thats just a fact.Yet niall and liam's labels and management invested huge amount of money and resources to get them into big playlists, radio stations and tv performances so that the media and GP could recignize tgeir talents. Niall was doing jingle balls in 2016 with only ONE song which too didnt chart much. And liam too managed to have strip that down in US itunes and radio play charts for a loong time thanks to all the promo he got. 

In 2016 n 2017 first two of louis' solo songs got loads of streams n itunes sales without much promo and Back to you i e his most popular solo song was getting millions of views within days and hours. YET his team didnt bother doing good promo for any of his next singles or increasing his media visibility.He was MIA for long periods only to release nothing in 2018. The ONE song which got a decent promo after BTY was We Made It which also managed to crack top 30 US radio charts.His album went #1 on 50+ countries YET his team didnt bother booking him for ANY PROMO in the UK and did like ONE DAY of promo in the US .THATS IT .

The fact louis tomlinson does not have the "pull" is L A U G H A B L E. He had enough "pull" to gather a huge solo fanbase who waited for FIVE YEARS for him to release his solo album and tour, have that solo album reach #1 in itunes of 50+ counties, get a top 5 UK official charts and top 10 US album charts albums through their efforts ALONE with NEGLIGIBLE promo and have many of the shows of his tour being sold out. Many artists would PAY to have this type of loyal fanbase. No pull my ass

Louis hinted at releasing an album in 2017,18 and 19 but it was only in 2020 when he lost a huge chunk of his fanbase and GP attention that he got to release his first album .This NOT a case of “This artist doesnt have enough talent,pull or resources to get more recognition” this is a case of  “ an artist’ team deliberately sabotaging any chances of the artist getting commercial success and ensuring that the artist gets as less visibility as possible”.

There are loads of artists who i wouldnt even have heard of if it wasnt for the fact that they were appearing on big promo channels.Artists like post malone, billie eilish,lizzo,lewis capadli,dua lipa, doja cat etc etc ALL were releasing equally amazing music wayy before they got big in the industry but it wasnt till their music labels and managements started investing money and resources into promoting them and putting their songs into big playlists and booking them for big tv and festival performances that they got famous and recognized by the GP.

Need more examples? just look at zayn malik and how he is the most vocally talented out of all of 1d and how his 1st album to went #1 and got huge sales and streams ALL bc his team his music into big playlists and booked him for at least some good promo YET his second album performed horribly despite being equally amazing as the first ALL bc his team didnt bothered promoting it AT ALL and sabotaged his physical copies deliveries.

Even Harry styles’ first album didnt performed as good as his second even tho he was the most anticipated solo member of 1d since his songs werent on big playlists and he didnt do more than 1 week worth of promo for it.He still had the same pull and resources then as he does now, what changed then??

EVERY artist no matter how good they are, needs the money and time of their label and management to establish themselves.Even the shittiest artists can get huge recognition and popularity if they are showed down people’s throats enough times.The current music industry is not about talent or resources but about how much an artist can be “sold” to the public and louis’ team didnt do a well enough job of it. THATS IT. 

Harry wouldnt be where he is if he didnt had his whole label and management team 100% on his side ready to use any opportunity to promote him in the GP. Stop pulling out stupid excuses to justify your unnecessary hatred of louis , accept that he is just being sabotaged by his team and if you REALLY dont care about louis anymore then stop keeping tabs on him THIS desperately
