waah thank you very much! i'll try and explain but here’s my colouring-specific tips, or at least how i choose my colours !! <3

unless for stylistic reasons (e.g. greyscale drawing), i personally avoid pure black, greys and white for colouring. go and choose off-colours instead! for lineart, black is okay but i always go for an actual colour anyways heheh. for the background colour of your canvas, sometimes an actual colour (rather than white or grey) may help you pick your palette to be more harmonised!

following this, i also don't like using pure/neon for colours, unless it's for a certain aesthetic or artstyle (e.g. the character has a "toxic/radioactive" aesthetic; the character is a scenedog (or similiar); or highlights). see below for examples! they may be subtle but sometimes the subtly can make the difference you are looking for... if you're looking for a natural look. if you're aiming for the bright/old 2000's artstyle, then pure/neons may be your friend!

when i'm casually drawing characters (oc or not), i rarely colour-pick from the reference image. i find that when you're "forced to make the palette", it can come out more pleasing to your style/atmosphere of the drawing! it’s more personalised that way... like yea, that’s my favourite versions of those colours! i'm not saying that my colours are better though, only that "hey that's me! in those colours!!" you can have the reference image on the side or go by memory. here’s me doing this with pride flags:

nowadays, when drawing the spooky month characters—who have simple designs god bless—i can just imagine their reference and adjust the colours in my head lol example: if i know that Lila's colour palette is purple, and that her winter sweater is coloured lighter than her hair, then i can just go ahead and pick whatever shade i want following that rule!

(of course, always double check with the actual reference for physical design inaccuracies and skin tone if it applies. my advice above is just for general hair/clothing colours! …because yknow you don't want to accidentally whitewash a character's skin in the name of aesthetics lol. if you’re unsure and want to be on the careful side, please do colour pick the skin at least !!)

moving on... gradient maps and certain blending modes (like exclusion, luminosity and darken) can be a game changer too. for normal drawings (e.g. drawings with no environment), i use darken the most because it changes a few colours rather than the entire piece... (the percentages are opacity levels!)

oh and as a really basic shading tip without using blending modes: sometimes, you just gotta go for grey. shading a warmer colour? use grey to make a cool tone. shading a cool colour? use grey to make a warm tone. not all the time (because you don’t wanna make your shading seem muddy), just sometimes…

and that's that! there's always exceptions to rules and often times, your headshot doodle ends up as one big experimental mess (in a fun way, hopefully)!

this is how i choose my colours though most of the time, it is just me going “good enough”

i think we're pretty similar on how we like warm colours! i enjoy going the simple/lazy route and avoid blend modes but then again, shading is a whole different thing…

I think it’s pretty obvious for an Anime club to watch Anime, however that shit is basic, and I have some unhinged ideas.

Trivia (the least unhinged)

—Make a trivia game on PowerPoint, or on Kahoot that feature questions based on various popular anime. Get specific and weird for the harder questions.

Anime Debate Club

—(be careful with this one because depending on the group it may get heated lol)

—At the end of a meeting, choose to random anime characters

—Tell members that they can pick sides on which of the two would win in a fight, then between meetings, bring together their arguments for why, they have to have actual citation and examples of the character’s powers, or reference specific canon material

—Bonus points if one of the debate teams puts together a PowerPoint slideshow on a character’s power set, or the other characters weaknesses

—Have a judge award points for valid arguments, but have them be cracked out of their minds about it (For example, awarding points to “Comedy” characters, like if an Osumatsu-San character surviving a Ki blast could be funny? That’s a point towards them. LMAO)

NOTES: Obviously the characters chosen cannot be Goku, Vegeta, Saitama, or in general overpowered characacters. Also, having completely fucking insane match ups, or wildly specific match ups is recommended. Like Bobobo VS Dio Brando from Jojo. Or General Tao from Dragon Ball VS Gojo.

If the fight is extremely one sided, just make a list of all the ways that one side would fucking dominate because that shit is fucking funny LOL.

Weekly Book Club but for anime

—This isn’t really “unhinged” but I recently did a manga book club with friends weekly and it was super cool to meet up and discuss the chapters of a particular series and such

—You can do this for anime and assign a set number of episodes, OR do manga and provide a way to read it online

—Rotate out series every so often so people don’t feel like they’re focusing all their attention to a single series the entirety of the year

—This could be a fun thing to do casually between meetings and to talk about a little at the start

Pitch your favorite

—Have people make a short presentation on PowerPoint to pitch their favorite series that’s 3-5 minutes each, or whatever depending on how many people you have

—If you wanna make it funny make it so they HAVE to include both Pros, AND Cons about it. (Like for One Piece: PRO would be the amazing worldbuilding, and a CON would be that Oda cannot draw women)

Make an Epic OC

—Force people to design OCs for a specific series for that week. If they can draw and want to, they can draw them. If they can’t draw? Make it a stick figure, or a shitty drawing a child would make. And have them make a small write up about the character and their powers.

—This can easily be taken seriously, or just have them make an overpowered self insert, all of it is fine

Anyway that’s all my ideas! Hope this helps or inspires some of your own unhinged ideas

meet the artist! his real name is oliver pick and he is a sarky little bloke from the city of britsol in england. after a run in with merasmus left his art supplies cursed/enchanted he can now use them either as projectile or melee weapons. mann co. soon gained knowledge of his abilities and hired him to fight in the gravel war alongside the rest of the cast. my bf helped me a lot with his lore ^w^

he is an attack based class, mainly dealing up close hits with a giant paintbrush/pencil or widespread attacks (eg. splattering acidic paint everywhere). i don’t have any illustrated depictions of how his attacks work so sorry. his art supplies have an “attack mode” and a “resting mode”. what this means is when they are in “rest mode” they appear as normal art supplies and when in “attack mode” they enlarge or become more hostile looking. all of his art supplies typically have bright green paint on them to signify their connection to merasmus and glow bright green when they’re preparing to engage in “attack mode”.

in terms of his personality, he is quite introverted and awkward. his only real friend in the base is scout, because he’s one of the younger mercs and artist finds it difficult to converse with the older mercs. he’s 19 years old, so, pretty young compared to the rest of them. here is a more in depth list of what his relationships with the others are like:

scout - pretty close with him in a brotherly way. they tend to shit talk the others most of the time and scout likes to ask him to draw stuff.

soldier - artist is actually kind of afraid of soldier, mainly because he dreads to imagine what would happen if solly found out he was british.

pyro - artist and pyro share a common interest, being art, so they get along fine. pyro likes to put stickers on artist’s art supplies and artist likes to paint on pyro’s mask.

engie - he really really really likes to help engie draft his schematics. engie typically lets him do a few lines at a time before taking over again, because artist is a dumb kid who shouldn’t be trusted with drafting schematics in his eyes.

heavy - heavy tries to take on a more father-like role with artist because he worries for the little baby man. being faced with so much atrocities at such a young age cannot be good for him. artist likes spending time with heavy, playing catch and other such games. he doesn’t really understand why heavy’s so worried about him though.

demoman - demo and artist get along fairly well. artist doesn’t really interact with him often but every time he does it’s always a positive experience. demo typically offers him a drink like that cool uncle at family reunions and he gifts him some shrapnel from the battle field sometimes.

spy - artist hates spy. point blank. even thinking about him makes him wanna throw up. do not ever mention the frenchman to him. ever.

sniper - artist doesn’t really like sniper either. he finds the whole concept of jarate weird and gross. his first death was due to the enemy team’s sniper so there’s also just some mild resentment there.

medic - artist is unbelievably terrified of medic. he’s afraid of the things he’s capable of doing but chooses not to. he’s always avoiding him, even on the battle field. this leads to artist having a very high death streak compared to the others.

so yeah that’s a somewhat-not-really brief overview of my silly little guy!! if you have any questions about him i’m more than willing to answer! thanks for listening to my mad ramblings!!!

Hello sorry to bother but today I went through the mor and dom tag and I can’t help but notice how good you are at designing tattoos! Both for Dylan and Mor, there’s just so much detail there!

I was wondering if you have any tips on your process for designing them? I have a lot of ocs I think would look good with some but just don’t know how to go abt it. Love your art and again sorry for bothering and have a good day!! :]

I've had experience designing tattoos for friends and commissioners before, so I think that helps me a lot. But here's some advice off the top of my head:

Research tattoo styles! There are so many types out there, from blackout tats, to classic nautical styles, watercolor, quotes and number tattoos etc. the world of tattoos is HUGE and there are constantly new styles being created by artists. Finding the specific style that fits your character is really helpful

Understand the tattooing process. This is important if you want your ocs' tats to look more realistic. Everything from pain threshold and placement, to how much certain colors or styles need upkeep, to how realistic specific details would be on specific areas of the body-- these can help a lot with choosing design elements as well as learning where to put the tattoos on the character's body. (My biggest advice for this on the drawing/design side: always prioritize the black ink first! Figure out areas where you can have the negative space/underlying skin be part of the design)

Placement, then design! I think of tattoos for OCs in two steps: 1) where and 2) what. I usually figure out placement first, and draw blocks of color on the body parts I want tattooed. Then I'll isolate the shapes and work on each design until I'm satisfied. As you've seen in my characters, I often make a tattoo sheet for them (which I'll copy and paste onto them as needed)

Personality! For characters, it really comes down to what the tattoos say about them. This doesn't necessarily mean all the tats need to be loaded with meaning, bc there are definitely people who get things for fun or for cheap. It's all about reflecting what your character is all about: are they the type to get really meaningful tattoos and only have a couple that are very symbolic for them? Are they the type to wanna be covered head to toe? Maybe to a character like that, each tattoo meaning isn't as important as filling in the space! Maybe it's a character with one really important tattoo but a lot of other random ones. Does one character have to have them in discreet areas for work? Tats that do mean something to your OC will probably say something important about them, while the visual style of the casual tattoos will say a lot about their style or fashion sense

A/N:My mother was a single mother and so I wanted to do this in dedication to her! Also this can be seen as platonic or romantic! Reader is GN but their baby is a boy named Harvey whose 3 years old. A/N 2:It’s mostly with Harvey because Harvey is based off of me a bit and I was an adventurous and chaotic yet well behave kid so I’d make friends fast. Also VERY LONG and cussing but never from you,Harvey or the characters also I didn’t do Poppy as I just can’t really figure out how to write her

Wally darling

•Wally finds your son adorable! Harvey and Home are best friends who are best friends! (Other then he and Julie of course) Wally is willing to help around as he sees your the only parent

•Everyone who was raised here (I’m guessing Wally was as it’s not stated or if it was I haven’t read it) they all know the way around. Wally who was raised here gives you tips and tricks around this place and also areas where Harvey might get.

•If your busy then he’ll offer to watch over him. Harvey is a well behave kid but has ADHD so often he’ll start rambling with Wally. Wally just smiled and nods even if he doesn’t understand what Harvey says.

• “O-oh and Mikey is my favorite! He always says ‘CAWBONGA!’ Then attacks with his brothers” “oh wow! How about you tell me more?” He doesn’t know what the fuck Teenage mutan ninja turtles but loves to listen to it!

•Wally loves to draw with Harvey and you. Harvey draws eyes mostly but there never realistic as he kinda hates drawing them.

•In all Harvey loves your son and also is willing to baby sit!

Eddie Dear

•He finds Harvey very adorable. Also you get more mail then anyone as because your a single parent from people.

•Eddie makes Harvey the Honorary mailman. He probably tells you before hand so that you don’t get uncomfortable or worried. Harvey is very helpful and mimics a military walk to only tumble a bit the giggle

•He isn’t a babysitter as he only has the weekend off (then you take over bc you two have turns) and he uses that time for self care. He doesn’t mind playing with the kid if he has free time or if he chooses to on the weekends.

•Harvey made his own hat that sorta looks likes Eddies but instead it has a lot of patches but Eddie finds it adorable.

• “Look It’s Frank! You wanna give him the mail buddy?” “Mhm! I got this!” “Alrighty! Here’s the mail and remember to make yourself known” “Okie dokie!” Harvey then skipped to Frank’s house. “FRANKIE! YOU GOTS MAIL!” “AHH! Oh my goodness! You scared me Harvey but thank you buddy” “Yous is welcome!” Harvey left giggling as he was happy. Eddie was smiling the whole time

•He’s sorta a dad figure to Harvey and Harvey has called him dad on many occasions but Eddie doesn’t mind as he finds it cute.

Frank

•Frank is actually the main babysitter because Harvey has nicknamed him ‘Uncie Frank!’ Or ‘Frankie!’ But also he’s the one whose most likely to make Harvey actually have nap time and get his energy out.

•Frank is willing to help take over if he sees your overwhelmed because on some weeks you work with Howdy and on some weekends you work with the mail office! You are on and off between weeks and weekends

•Frank tells him all about butterflies making Harvey come over often just to hear more. Harvey usually sits down,looks up with him with a curious puppy face as he listens.

• “Uncie Frankie,what dat?” “That is…not a butterfly but it’s a moth but what type?” Soon you came behind them to pick up Harvey. “Oh an oleander hawk moth! Beauty ain’t it?” “DADDY/MOMMY!” Frank jumped a bit the sighed in relief. “Ah Y/N,also it is beautiful” picking up Harvey as you placed him on your hip you took a picture of the hawk moth with the camera around your neck. “I did a whole essay on that when I was in school!”

Julie Joyful

•Julie loves both you and Harvey! She’s often at your house to spend time with you or Harvey or both! She’s basically become your second child and Harvey’s sister.

•She actually lets you take naps as she plays with Harvey. She’s worried as you overwork and overwhelm yourself. She makes sure Harvey lets you rest so they’ll play outside for your nap.

•Julie is the second babysitter if Frank can’t babysit. Harvey and Julie get each other’s energy out fast with the many games they play! Mostly play pretend or hopscotch or their playing games they made up together

•Knocking on your door Julie smiled as she swayed side to side. You opened the door yawing as Harvey was on the ground pretending to be a worm. “Julie,hey guessing you wanna play with Harvs?” “Mhm! You can take a nap Y/N! I’ll take good care of him!” “Thank you,been on chaotic week” Soon you face planted into the couch immediately falling asleep. “Hey Harvey wanna go play hopscotch?” “Yes peas!” Harvey got up running towards Julie as they went outside to give you peace.

•Julie sometimes has sleepovers because she loves the way you make her feel oh so safe! Plus more time with her favorite buddy! She’s now the sister figure of Harvey

Howdy

•Howdy meet him because Harvey secretly helped him with his job. He didn’t notice until all the cans he needed to be put up were gone to only see a three your old put them away how he likes it. “Heya kid,where’s your guardian” “Mommy/daddy is with Uncie Wally! Said I can get candy but wanna help you because you look like Mommy/daddy when they work a LOT!” Howdy chuckled at Harvey’s comment. Ended up letting the kid take it for free for being so helpful

•When he met you he saw Harvey again but how he kept begging to push the cart which you allowed with your help as he is so tiny! He loved your personality and now sees why Harvey said that the first time they met.

•The others often come in talking but you and Harvey always come up. He does make conversation with you both becoming friends with you two fast as Harvey gifts him drawings or old action figures he no longer plays with but wants Howdy to have!

•He can’t babysit as he’s very busy but that’s not needed when Harvey will just sit by his counter rambling about things and playing with the toys he brought or his fingers. Finds it adorable to only realize Harvey has a habit of wondering away

•May or may not offer to make him a balloon for you to tie around his wrist…your still considering it

Sally Starlet

•Adores Harvey as he always makes it to her shows with you but she doesn’t get mad when you fall asleep,she knows it’s very difficult as a single parent so she’ll make sure to let you sleep during her plays.

•Harvey sometimes joins her plays but when he does their usually easy plays as he’s only three years old. She is amazed how a three year old can make outfits (He learnt from his GamGam aka Grandma because she knit and sew a lot!)

• “Okay Harvey what’s your lines?” Sally was smiling as she was bending down to Harvey’s height. Harvey thought for a while. “It’s ‘I shall slay da monster!’ Right?” “Yeah good job buddy!” She gave him double high-fives making him giggle

•Will hold your son under her arm while she carefully speed walks as Harvey pretends to be an airplane. She can be a babysitter but it depends if she’s got plans or shows

Barnaby

•He fucking loves the kid! Is like Harvey’s best friend as he’ll just pick up the kid and run around making Harvey laugh.

•When he met you he knew immediately that he’ll start to take the kid just so you can rest because of how energetic and adventurous Harvey is. Will also let you sleep on him as well as Harvey because he’s super sort(his fur helps)

• “Harvey! Wanna play hide and seek?” “YES PEAS!” “Okay! I’ll hide!” “Otay! I count to…20!” Harvey turned around shutting and covering his eyes while Barnaby went to hide. When you went to pick up Harvey you were met with your son hiding on top of a tree while Barnaby looked for him. You took a picture before calling for Harvey. They played again tomorrow.

•He’s Harvey’s big brother figure.

Matteo Beloved

•He and Harvey are twins. Will take Harvey to his radio station just so they can spend time together as Harvey loves him and Matto sees him as his little brother.

•He was raised by a single mother so he knows how tricky it will be for you. Always comes over and cooks for you so you can rest for a while will also become Harvey’s teacher as he was in the past. Honestly the neighbors just assume he lives with you now instead of his radio station but he still lives there

• “Heya chiquito!” “UNCIE MATTIE!” Matteo was smiling as he crouched for the boy to hug him. “Oh super big strong hug!” “Hehe! I super strong!” “Yeah you are! Wanna help me with today’s broadcast?” “Mhm!” You smiled as Matto put him on his shoulder as the two chaotic boys laughed on their way to the station.

•He and Harvey both ramble about their hyper fixation,ends up with them falling asleep. You gave him a copy of your key as he basically lives with you. You came home one late night to see Harvey sleeping on the boogie man’s chest with the TV playing Teenage mutan ninja turtles which you of coursed took a picture of!

Over all the whole neighborhood loves you and your son making them all be a big old family with you

SO. SAKURAI. sakurai my baby.

sakurai is a genderfluid, pink haired dweeb machine, who is also disabled! (win for the community). his quirk is cadenza, which basically means that he can make anything he sings come to life and he can manipulate sound waves to do whatever he wants them to do, pretty much. eventually he even learns how to mimic people’s voices (thanks to shinsou and present mic).

he’s got a story up on ao3 so i don’t wanna spoil too much of what hasn’t been uploaded yet. pretty much. ANYWAYS.

he did something really really bad when he was very young, and was held by the hero commission from ages 4-8 before being adopted by iida tensei and haimawari koichi (from vigilantes). he sees tenya as his brother and they refer to each other as such :3. there’s a whole bunch of shit with the iida family being sucky but that’s just them.

he is so so so cool. he’s scenemo and dabbles in vkei and GAWRSH i love him. he also has like. four boyfriends and dates another character at one point (does not end well). he’s so silly i adore him.

his four bfs are ojiro (ofc), shinsou, todoroki, and bakugou bc. things happen. he’s also really close with the “bakusquad” and ends up getting into shenanigans with them often. he’s really good friends with jirou since both of their whole shticks has to do with music!

okay and for these images, a few notes! 1. ignore the art style/design on the first one, it’s old, i just don’t have anything with his coloring on hand rn 😭

2. yes he’s dressed as miku in the second one but the front of the hair is accurate. in the first one, that’s how long his hair is generally. hehe

his hero costume looks the same, the only thing i changed was his hair. oh yeah! that’s a sensor on his palm, it’s how he uses his quirk (plus his vocal chords), and he has scars on his neck !

I feel bored so I’m gonna post abt my silly ideas for my Blue Samurai Insert oc, Hana.

Also TW in the third paragraph for physical abuse if you don’t like that stuff, also brief mention of murder

Hana is a half breed like Mizu. So she has very dark brown hair, and hazel eyes. Plus freckles. She often wears a beat up mask and a kimono as a way to cover her imperfections. She is also very curvy.

She is a very reserved and sweet girl, and prefers to be alone. She also is very self conscious about her face. She used to wear makeup, but it never worked well. So she gave up quickly and wore the mask as a way to cover herself. She quite likes the ocean and nature in general. She also draws and paints sometimes.

Her father was Japanese and her mother was white. The dad basically just fucked the mom out of pure adrenaline and then out popped little Hana. Hana was named “Rose” by her mother, but her father quickly changed it to Hana. Her mom was disabled and couldn’t walk. And basically didn’t leave purely for Hana’s sake. She didn’t want to leave her child with her abusive husband. This abusive husband still managed to harm her and such, which is why she has the ugly scar. She has more, but she covers them over her clothes. Her father used to take her to a shrine and made her pray for several hours to “get rid of the demon” as he put it. Eventually, Hana broke and murdered her father, but she can’t remember it. Her mom then sold her to a priestess to avoid her daughter being killed for the crime, where she lives in a shine/inn thing

. The priestess, whose name is Tenshi, is very controlling. You see, Hana when she was younger got along with Tenshi very well sense she was at the shrine so much. Because of this, Tenshi often sees herself as her mother and feels a sense of entitlement to her sense she saved her from her father. So she is very controlling and manipulative. Tenshi did used to somewhat work for lord Tokunobu Daichi. So Hana and Akemi were friends. But it ended quickly cause the dad didn’t like Hana’s existence as a half breed. Tenshi of course, doesn’t work for him anymore and is now a simple priestess.

(Side note, she actually does have really intense lore outside of this. I do wanna talk about my characters lore so if this is well liked enough I’ll talk abt it more)

Now Hana’s brother, named Kotaro, is Tenshi’s child. He is a 18 year old boy with anger issues and is just a mad teenager. He wants to be a Samurai, but Tenshi doesn’t like them a lot due to her one personal trauma. Hana does practice Archery, so she will often take her brother with her and they both will practice for awhile in the woods. They are quite close but Kotaro often makes fun of her for a few reasons. He doesn’t really make fun of her race but he does think it’s funny to make fun of Hana being a hopeless romantic

I forgot to mention that, I made Hana a hopeless romantic. Through her life she reads really romantic and graphic poetry about love and adoration. She loves it so so much. Her main goal is to find someone to love her and to hopefully marry them and become a wife.

Hana is also bisexual with a pref for women (not like she will ever admit it) and autistic. But of course she doesn’t know about it. Maybe the gay part.

I’m most productive when I put them on for background noise while I complete tasks, but I often don’t even remember what the video is on because I accidentally tune it out lol.

Never had one. I loved making storylines with plot in my head instead of a singular imaginary friend.

Am I allowed to say that I wouldn’t? I often poke fun of my name for its uniqueness, but I’ve fought hard to reclaim it as my own after hearing it he used in such a negative light growing up. I also just like that I’m named after a mountain :)

• What is your favorite of Redacted's audios, and why?

Imperium storyline. I love the complexity and depth of it all, and hearing beloved characters have to navigate such a awful world such as the Imperiums is fascinating to me. And the sound design FUCKS it’s insane.

• What Redacted boy holds no appeal to you, and why? Like, not the one you hate but the one who you don't get the hype for.

Vincent. I appreciate the purpose that his character serves, and I genuinely love all of the characters, don’t get me wrong, but he just doesn’t do it for me like how he does for others. I’ve been enjoying seeing his character w/ this summit stuff, however! Maybe I was just getting bored of him?

Twilight series. It’s so stupid and awful and perfect in all the right and wrong ways. It makes me laugh, and I love poking fun of it.

Lover of all things nature and stars. Graduated w/ my masters in Alternative Medicine & Holistic Healing. This took me a second- not because it’s not obvious but because this is a boy I don’t think about often, I’ll be real with you. Then I checked the March Redactedness brackets, and I knew- it’s gotta be you and Camelopardalis.

It’s such a definite match; like, everything about you would work so well with him. Your personality types reveal a positive, thoughtful, compassionate person, as does your work in Holistic medicine, and that’s exactly the type of personality that would sit well next to a Serenity daemon. Admittedly, I picked the song by vibes. The lyrics are cute, of course, and I always make sure to choose love songs, but the lyrics weren’t as important as the feel. I wanted a song that would be perfect for a little afternoon stroll with your beloved, not too slow or fast, not sad but sweet and light and a little bouncy.

...Okay, I'm not very good at appearing to be a confident, charismatic and almighty crazy artist... After all, this is the job of Calf Cover, not mine.

This is a blog of a small socially unadapted but open to communication and questions person who just really wants to share their creativity. The three characters in the picture are my OCs: the little purple pegasus Alien Efflorensce, the big white figure Calf Cover and the weird black thing called “Id”, or “This”.  And these characters perfectly display the content of the blog.

Innocent Alien is the voice of reason and morality, she loving every living being and coming into indignation from any injustice, ignorance and cruelty. She loves the whole world and wants to embrace it all - with all its wonders and oddities. She has a very strange mindset and soul, loud and inharmonious sounds make her very painful, she is devoted to things and does not alter hobbies for years, and it is very difficult for her to make friends. Because of all this, she often turns out to be simply crushed by the world around.

Calf Cover is ambitious, loud and stubborn. She is determined, quick-tempered, but usually prudent and cautious. At her core, she is a defender of the weak and a warrior ready to resist even a wild beast, who, nevertheless, easily becomes confused and terrified when it comes to situations that do not depend on her. She loves attention and the laurels of victory, and enjoys well-done work more than anything else in the world.

Id is an ancient demon, a monster, a terrible abomination, an alien incomprehensible by reason, maybe even a god - it has many names and forms. To Calf Cover and Alien, it appears in the form of a little lamb that should have been born normal, but something went terribly wrong during its birth or gestation. Rotten from the inside symbol of original sin and the basest, uncontrollable and terrifying motives. Loves baked juicy fish and will kill for poppy seed muffins.

The blog is named after Calf Cover, and you can call me the same - this is my alter ego here. Thank you for reading and have a nice time!

HI! First post- so um- I’m here to introduce you to my welcome home OC!

But first, I wanna give you a little information about myself!

I don’t feel comfortable stating my age unless we are close. So if you would like to know that I feel free to leave me a message and become good friends with me! You can call me Barnaby/Bippy! These have been my names before Welcome home has even been created- I’ve had many people ask if I took it from the character, but no I did not! I have autism, ADHD, bipolar disorder, anxiety/depression, and DID/OSDD!  My interest include; five nights at Freddy’s, happy tree friends, musicals, welcome home and the amazing digital circus!  Now allow me to go onto my Sona/OC!

TRAVIS SUNSPOT LADYS AND GENTLEMEN!(this is not my art! My amazing friend made it for me!! I did still come up with the idea and concept though)

Travis can be heard being called Tracy around the neighborhood. It’s a little nickname!

They are gender fluid, which means you might see me mixup pronouns here a little bit, but I promise I’m still talking about the same person! Tracy is 27 years old and runs the local train station there! Sunspot station! He is a very kind and bubbly neighbor, who is always willing to help. Standing at around 8 feet tall, he is a part of the more taller gang! He is very good friends with Eddie considering they both have jobs where they have to move around a lot and they often times help each other out! Travis will only wear their train station conductor outfit during work time, but out of it it really depends how he feels! He has been seen wearing, suits, oversized hoodies, etc. etc.

Travis has a major interest in trains! They could go on and on about them for hours. Travis has certain cars on the train specially made that way people can draw on them. He lets Wally and the other neighbors do so. He is very good friends with Barnaby! He laughs very hard at his jokes— they have kind of like a brother bond relationship.

Travis has a Australian accent!

How he got to the neighborhood;

Travis doesn’t have the best memory, considering he is a dog. A golden retriever to be exact. But he grew up with his parents who were train conductors in a small city that would take him everywhere with them! He had been going all around the world to different towns cities and countries, even!  But one day he ended up getting on the wrong train. He ended up stopping at a city that he didn’t know and got off there thinking his parents would be there for him as well. But when they weren’t there He had panicked, and finally realized he had gotten on the wrong train! Considering there were too many trains around to locate the exact one, and he was so young he just kind of attempted to make the best out of things, and started taking care of himself. He would hop from train to train country to country in order to find the one that would take him home. Before he came across a little neighborhood- when he opened up the gate, he couldn’t help but feel so relieved.

It was home.

I was pretty excited to draw my boy. I don’t draw Max very often which is sad because I need to draw him more. He’s an important character in the storyline. 

I plan to do a storyline with Olivia and her friends at some point in the future once everyone’s References are all done.

One thing I want to note in the story is Max is Olivia’s love interest and future boyfriend.

Max’s Ex girlfriend Allison will be important in the storyline, which I don’t wanna spoil too much yet.

Little fun fact, he’s the same height as John! Lol 😆.

My OCs Masterlist

I got tired of having to look through my mess of a computer to find drawings and other stuff about old OCs and characters I might wanna use in the future, and I’m bored right now so I figured I’d make a list with all of my important OCs, or at least the ones that mean the most to me.

These are not ALL of my OCs, just the main ones for their respective stories/campaigns. But there’s still a lot, lol. Also I’m not counting Niss for this list, even if she’s an OC in my heart. You can learn more about her in my pinned post anyway.

Metchi

You know how parents say they don’t have a favorite child? Well I do and it’s Metchi. ‘What if someone decided they wanted to do good purely out of spite and had pretty much everything stacked against them?’ I asked myself. ‘What if she was also a grungy trans girl who has no fucking clue what she’s doing and is constantly bickering with the deity inside her head?’ was the next question. And from that, Metchi was born. The willpower to burn a hole through Mt. Coronet yet the resources and energy of someone who considers cigarettes the most effective breakfast.

Nico

He’s my PC from our current (in hiatus) Pokemon tabletop campaign. A Lumiosian street artist and Sky Trainer who enjoys throwing himself off of high places and being completely fucking incomprehensible to all who meet him. The only neurons in his brains are dedicated to serving looks, calling the wind to his command and delivering the most unhinged takes on the nature of human happiness he can think of.

Tulip

‘I would like to make a tragic character whose obsession with the truth will inevitably lead her to ruin’ I thought. ‘Oh, fuck’ Tulip replied. Out of all my stories, hers is currently my favorite from a writing perspective, and I owe a lot of that to Tulip herself, always willing to push and push until something pushes back, because it’s what she thinks she owes to the people who were just as unfortunate as her. And I love her for it.

Hope and Hunter

These two come in a package deal. ‘Small town life-long friendship’ is something I’ve been meaning to try my hand at writing for a while, and though their story is at the very beginning, I like them quite a lot already. A lot of my personal history with friendships and growing up into your twenties is imbued into them, though they are cooler and dumber and more than willing to take those things to their natural extremes.

Ska

Protagonist of my yet in-progress, unnamed visual novel I’m working on. She’s a sheltered Fae changeling with a death sentence hanging over her head, and a desperate desire to do as much stupid shit as possible before something ends up killing her. She has a bat and absolutely sucks at using it, and she’s hopelessly in love with both of her best friends. I love her deeply, and I hope I can share her with everyone soon.

Shadi

Absolute trash human being, possibly the worst woman in Sinnoh, lover of drama and shadow magic and also Dark Souls. What if an older sister was allowed to be as evil as her little heart desired? Well, that’s Shadi. Obviously there’s more to her, but I like making fun of her. I think she’s a funny character on her own right, except when she’s doing horrible shit to my other OCs, which is often. In any case, she’s one of my favorites to write for a reason.

Eatos

Eatos is... weird. They don’t have a set story, they kinda bounce around a few of my works being mysterious and off-putting and tricking people with smoke/illusion magic. They exist in the same universe as Ska, and in that world at least they’re a human with the power of a Fae artifact. I’ll get more of a chance to develop them someday.

Shadi... 2!

Yeah I have a few characters named Shadi, I just really like the name. Anyway this particular Shadi may be my first actual OC, back when I was... fuck, I dunno, fourteen? I don’t know how relatable this is, but she’s the OC that made me think ‘I’m gonna write her story and become a famous fantasy author and write a bunch of books and-’ and you know the drill. That didn’t quite end up happening, but I don’t regret it much. I did write a book, but my creative goals right now are very different from back then, and I’m happy with that. One step at a time. Still, I care a lot about Shadi for basically getting me into writing fiction, and someday I hope I can write a story that’ll serve as thanks for her.

Cole

PC for another Pokemon tabletop campaign that unfortunately never progressed much. Which is a shame, because I like this guy, even if he’s so hard to relate to sometimes that I have trouble writing him. He’s nn ex League/army man who now lives peacefully in Pacifidlog alongside his Electrode called Maradona. He loves dogs to a comical degree (the only part about him I understand) and spends most of his time drinking beer, wishing he could drive fast vehicles and helping out Darya, his neighbor and aspiring contest star.

Machi

Uh... yeah, we’re getting into the really old ones. I don’t remember much about Machi other than she was a hired killer and lived with a guy who did all her murder planning for her because the pay was good and he hated his job that much. It was from her story that Eatos came forth, so it’s a shame that they ended up being so much more interesting to me than Machi. I still like her, though.

Tala

Listen, we all gotta have an edgy OC with a sword, and Tala was mine. Another PC for an even older Pokemon tabletop, maybe even THE oldest. I went around from loving him when I created him, to despising him a few years after and now kinda liking him again, just because he’s so ridiculous in his drama queen ways. He almost rivals Niss in that regard. But yeah, cool sword, tragic backstory, crabby personality, the works. What do you want from me? I loved that shit when I was a dumb kid.

Anyway... there are more of them, but these are the main ones I remember. Of course there’s also Reiko and Percy and characters like that, but they’re different kinds of OCs, and I already posted about them before.

9. Do they swear? Do they remember their first swear word?

Nooooo, hardly at all really! She’s never had the occasion to swear tbh, and even if she did have the opportunity, she would hold her tongue! Her first swear word was probably “crap” and it came out by accident when she broke something… and yes this would be post meeting Bakugo so we can blame him for his bad influence haha!

21. Why do they get up in the morning?

Because she wants to give all she’s got to helping others! You can’t physically save anyone while lying in your bed! She wants to be there for others when they wake up and to cheer them on for the day, as well as make the most of the time she’s got: whether to train or to fill her free time with things she enjoys!

35. How do they treat the things their friends come to them excited about? Are they supportive?

Asami is THE MOST SUPPORTIVE person you will ever meet!!! She never shuts down anyones excitement for anything, even Mineta being a perv at first she thought was endearing because he was so passionate (she later chose not to encourage this tho cus it backfired on her majorly lmao) but anyone’s hobbies or passions, she’ll support with every fibre of her being!

When they did the dorm room competition, Asami had a really hard time choosing her favourite because she adored all of them for their own reasons! Basically if you wanna talk about something you love but are worried about people’s reactions: go to Asami! She’ll cheer you on and support your passions wholeheartedly!

36. Do they actively seek romance, or do they wait for it to fall into their lap?

Asami has always secretly craved having someone special, but she’s not been open about it with herself or anyone else until she develops her first major crush, which is on Bakugo! She never seeks it out because she doesn’t feel she is worthy of someone loving her fully, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t yearn for it or enjoy it majorly once she has it!!

38. What memory do they revisit the most often?

It split between 2: the first being the days/nights spent with her dad, cooking together and drawing just as the 2 of them - in the park and at home! The second is a movie night she had with Class A + B where Momo made a GIANT pillow fort in their common room for everyone to fit it, while they ate food and watched movies, it was one of her happiest memories because everyone was together and smiling🤍

I would also say a memory with her mama, but she was too young to remember things accurately without it being something her dad told her later on yknow?

B. What inspired you to create them?

When I started MHA I had a major cleaving to make a hero oc - someone purely good and soft and just someone everyone would love! Plus: I myself am a squishy gal and knew I wanted to make more plus sized characters, so this felt like the perfect opportunity because you don’t need to be stick thin or built like a body builder to be classed as a hero - size doesn’t come into that!!

E. Are they someone you would get along with? Would they get along with you?

Absolutely! I love how sweet she is and her easy to talk to nature is ideal for my kind of friendships! I also love how supportive she is cus I can’t stand people who shit all over someone else’s parade just cus they don’t know/understand/like something. I may get annoyed at how naive she is sometimes but I can live with that haha

my full name is Damien Emmet Dixon, and im one of the youngest in the system at the ripe age of 23! although i do identify as a trans male since I am the host, im of course actually a guy, dick and all! I stand at a whopping 5’7, and in all honesty I dont know as much about myself as i should-

i like to listen to music, watch markiplier (wow surprise), draw, code, and build legos! im also one of the more social people in our system, so i very much enjoy hanging out with the few friends we’ve got— my role in the system is Host, uhhhh i cant be serious for long cause my job is to be funny! this is real! i hate saying that man, its so weird— anyhow uh, i just live life! i try to be a goof, so youre often gonna see me on this blog, despite it being for my markiplier introjects.

in the past TWO days, two people have made me realize i am technically a fucking introject of our previous hosts OC/ sona!! which!! wow!! like, i knew that, but it makes more sense to me now to call myself an introject. and i DO!! have sourcemates! Twoey is one of them, he doesnt come on this blog or talk very often, but hes another version of me (though im technically a version of him, but we’ll get into that later!)!! hes a brother to me, i love him very dearly and oh BOY have we gone through a lot together-
