#I have no idea where I get it though I mean my real dad isn't that bad

The TWST cast from the original Fyuuture Kid timeline is so Cleopatra by Lumineers coded. They just get their (pregnant) joyfriend ripped away from them, cursed, and then sent back to earth, where they can't follow all in one day. That's gotta be a fucking nightmare. They just lose everything at the same time. Bro. Imagine Jamil or Azul, they had to fight for everything and just when they finally, FINALLY, think they have something that will never leave, it's taken away. Imagine malleus or cater or silver; they've already lost so much, silver just lost his dad and now, when he's going to make his own family, they're taken from him too.
TW FOR SUICIDE.
You wrote one time that of Yuu ever died, Floyd would be quick to follow, so. Did Jade and Azul have to put him on suicide watch? My mind is reeling there were NO WINNERS in this timeline Goddamn.
Sorry for the angst dude I just think about this AU a lot
i am so sorry for making you all live with this many thoughts and just waltzing on off to do fuck all
So there weren't any winners in the original timeline no, but the way things went down sort of prevented the type of outcome you are describing with Floyd due to the potential for hope, that most dangerous of falsehoods. In a way that sort of makes it worse though... so lets talk about what went down shall we?
(I'm going to keep this post to more general information, but I did write some specific ship thoughts I'll probably use for another post later on, I just need to think on some of them more...)
notes: they/them used for Yuu, this is part of my fyuuture kid au which can be found under the series section of my masterlist. This post will not contain discussions of suicidal ideation, but will contain major character death and descriptions of violence. If you are curious about what happened to Yuu and Fyuuture kid, look at this post here.

General Original Timeline Facts
To give a brief re-cap of what happens to Yuu, they were arrested by the Magical Marshall's office and sent back to their world, while pregnant, and cursed to forget everything that had happened to them in Twisted Wonderland. Something I didn't mention in that first post, mostly because I intended to imply it in the answer about Riddle's relationship with Yutu but ended up cutting, is that none of the characters actually know that this is what happened at first. They know that Yuu disappeared, but they don't know that the Marshalls were involved or that Yuu went back to their world, which causes a real sense of panic in all of them because holy shit their spouse and unborn child just went missing and they can't seem to get anyone to take this seriously. How the Marshalls went about hiding this information, and what the general public believed happened to Yuu depends on who their husband was, as did the fallout of their disappearance.
For anyone who might be a bit confused, the Magical Marshall's Office is an elite squad of police officers who investigate magical crime, and occasionally deal with overblots. They are the organization that Deuce wants to join one day, which does mean that the people who made the decision to see Yuu as a threat to public safety and send Yuu home were Deuce's own co-workers and friends.
Deuce is the first to suspect that the Marshall's might have had something to do with Yuu's disappearance, but he isn't able to really do much with that. He tries, but he is stonewalled and eventually fired- though by the time that happened monster attacks started getting really bad in the Queendom and Deuce had a whole other set of questions.
Speaking of those monster attacks, the instant Yuu is removed from Twisted Wonderland Grim overblots I have an idea as to why, but it isn't super set in stone. This "Chimera" begins hunting and stirring up monsters, inciting them to attack civilization while it focuses on trying to "wake up" the Phantoms of the Great 7. These phantoms want to re-join with their respective overblot boy, which is an easier task for some of them than others.
The first phantom to re-appear was the Thorn Fairy's. Malleus chose to seal himself and his phantom in an eternal sleep inside the Briar Valley capital after ordering Sebek and Silver to evacuate everyone who lived there, leaving his people truly leaderless and in shambles. He technically also ordered Lilia to go with them, but he refused. He wasn't able to abandon another Draconia to die alone. A lot of nocturnal fae died to the Phantom before Malleus's sacrifice, but because the problem was more or less contained to Briar Valley not all of the other nations saw the monster problem as a threat. They should have.
The second phantom to re-appear was The Queen of Hearts'. Riddle, having been approached by Deuce with his suspicions regarding Yuu's disappearance and outraged by what he saw as a clear violation of the law (if nothing else) was easy prey and re-assimilated into the monster. The phantom then began hunting down each of Riddle's previous dorm mates to corrupt them into card soldiers for its army, eventually fashioning four lieutenants that were a touch more sentient that the others out of Trey, Cater, Deuce, and Ace.
Certain members of the Al-Asim family saw that happen and quietly, without Kalim's knowledge, arrange to have Jamil killed. This doesn't prevent the Sorcerer of the Sands' phantom from reuniting with him, it just means the monster is puppeteering a corpse. And dragging around a second once it gets its hands on Kalim...
Obviously at this point something of a pattern has been established, meaning S.T.Y.X. is expected to do something. Idia does not actually overblot for a second time thank you very much, Phantom Ortho has a mind of his own and he promised to stay in the Underworld until it was Idy's time. His first order of business is to check in on Vil, Azul, and Leona to make sure they're ok. He manages to make contact with Vil, but the Coral Sea proves impossible to get a message through to and Leona is M.I.A. Literally, he and Ruggie have both disappeared while investigating monster attacks around the slums. Idia has a decision to make, and it's not one he really likes, but S.T.Y.X. has a better relationship with the Sunset Savannah than it does the Coral Sea, so it's off to the Elephant Graveyard while Vil agrees to stay behind on the Isle of Woe under observation for his own safety.
It's a decision Idia regrets later. He gets to Leona in time to help him fight and kill the King of Beasts's phantom, but it costs Leona and Ruggie their lives, and while he's there, the Sea Witch's phantom finds Azul and begins using his magic to drain the merfolk dry. Floyd manages to use his unique magic to distract Azul long enough to allow Jade to escape, who only flees because he thought his brother was behind him the whole time. The oceans become polluted with blot, forcing the surviving merfolk to the surface. Many go to NRC and take refuge in the Octavinelle dorm pocket dimension, resulting in the Mostro Lounge being closed to make more room. Somehow that feels more like a killing blow to Azul for Jade than what the phantom did.
Schools like NRC, RSA, and Nobel Bell become sort of centers for survivors due to the large amounts of mages, magical wards, and artifacts that such schools typically have made them safer than most towns. NRC specifically has seen a large influx of magicless people who run a lot of the things the ghosts used to and runs a lot of normal school classes in additional to the magic program, which shifts over time to be more focused on fighting due to the increased monster attacks.
Also Crewel is now Headmage. It would have been Trein but I don't think he needs the stress. I haven't decided if he is still alive or not, but Vargas and Sam are still kicking.
So to give a run down of where everyone stands in the original timeline in order: Malleus and his phantom are trapped in an eternal sleep, Lilia is dead, Silver and Sebek are alive (at least at first) and trying to help the fae refuges displaced by the Thorn Fairy's Phantom. All of Heartslabyul are overblot phantoms, and actively making the Queendom of Roses unlivable. Jamil was assassinated and the Sorcerer of the Sands's phantom went on to kill Kalim and most of his family. To be clear that wasn't because of Jamil's lingering emotions, but good luck explaining that to most people. Vil and Idia are overblot free, Vil because he is being detained on the Isle of Woe and Idia because of his promise with Phantom Ortho. Leona and Ruggie died fighting the King of Beast's phantom. Azul and Floyd are blot phantoms, while Jade is alive and tending bar at what remains of the lounge at NRC.
Now Epel, Rook, and Jack aren't named in that list. No one really knows what happened to them, but they are assumed dead (or at least Jack and Epel are.) Since this is my AU and I get to give out the information, I'll let you know that Rook is a phantom under control of the Fairest Queen's phantom, Jack is dead, and Epel is alive, but cut off from the rest of Twisted Wonderland by the monsters under the Fairest Queen's control. He's right teed off about that, hey Yutu go get him that ladder he's gonna give Rook a piece of his mind-
I do have some ship specific thoughts but I want to cook with them a bit more... but to maaaybe tease some of them?
Yutu and his friends had to fight the Heartslabyul boys multiple times. Yes this hurt their Yutus a lot, and is one of the main reasons Riddle! Yutu hates his dad so much.
Vil can hear the Fairest Queen talking to him and it's not great for his mental stability. Neither is being cooped up in the Isle of Woe, his Yutu did meet him and remembers it being a terrifying experience.
Jade has a good relationship with Floyd! Yutu, Jade and Floyd are their own people but losing Floyd killed a part of him that was slightly healed by getting his nephew back. He likes to tease Azul! Yutu and told him a great deal about his dad. As for his own Yutu... their relationship is a tad strained by how protective Jade is over his son. He is terrified of losing him and what is left of his pearl...
Not all Yutus are in the same dorm as their father. I haven't decided on where all of them are yet, but I did mention once in my replies that Azul! Yutu is in Savanaclaw. I did not mention that he did intend to transfer but couldn't when he accidentally became the Dorm Leader because he got tired of being mouthed off to and knocked someone out. I have an ask about Cater! Yutu I'm working on but I'll add him here as having been put into Octavinelle, and I think I want to put Kalim! Yutu into Pomefiore but I need to cook more...

After Aerion died, does Myrielle re-marry? And if she does, and her new husband already has kids, how would she, Maegor, and Aenys feel about them? If Myrielle gets pregnant, how do the twins feel about their potential half sibling?
Tumblr media
think smarter not harder . have an affair with your brother in law so you can cash in later
i always kind of liked to think that in a scenario where aerion dies vaguely in line with how+when it happens in canon myrielle does remarry but more for a sense of security than because she's especially enthusiastic at the idea . she likes to feel as if she has something or someone to fall back on i think, and when aerion dies she kind of has the rug pulled out under her in that she doesn't really know where to turn or what to do or where to go . she has a place at court only through her sons then and when they marry she feels as if they too begin to slip away from her . so she scrambles to find that security again by remarrying
& the easiest most comfortable option for her is daeron - she's known him for more than half her life at that point and knows that they're fond of each other (maybe not in any super deep passionate soulmate way but there's a fondness there regardless) and so she locks in on that instead of trying to gamble with other men at court when she knows that it'd be tough to find someone that could avoid making her miserable. not to mention given that he'd be heir at that point he's kind of a step up from aerion just in terms of political value LOL . on a purely personal level i don't know if she would want to marry daeron . she doesn't think he matches her passion and she doesn't find him super attractive and she can't stand the drinking & whoring & general nothingsauce attitude he has towards everything, but again at this point she kind of just needs to settle down again so she can feel secure the way she did being married the first time
i ermrmmmmm . i haven't thought all that hard about daeron's timeline of events in this little universe so subject to change but i imagine he does marry kiera of tyrosh like in canon and she dies in childbirth (which seems kind of likely even in the canonsphere given her miscarriages + never being mentioned again + grrm's love for letting women die giving birth) so he does have vaella hanging around . which is funny because this means myrielle gets her princess daughter technically but again it's WRONG because she isn't hers biologically & vaella ..... hummm ... well in canon she's described as simple and as a fellow part of the club ☝️ i hc that to mean that she had some degree of autism which i don't think myrielle would be very equipped to handle . she doesn't have the patience or understanding so while she's not unkind or dismissive of her the way she is towards aerea i don't know if they'd really bond in any significant way . maybe vaella gets attached to her given she doesn't really have a mom here but myrielle wouldn't know how to give that energy back and so there's always a bit of a wedge inbetween them there .
maegor i feel is probably the most agreeable of the three here . both him and aenys are older than vaella would be so i don't think they'd really be friends in the traditional sense but maegor to me is very open and willing to really make that effort to be agreeable and to make things work so him and vaella are definitely the closest ... takes on the older brother role without any complaints .
unlike aenys who would probably just disregard the whole marriage & daeron & vaella altogether . i imagine he looks up to aerion so much and so strongly that the idea of myrielle remarrying, especially someone like daeron, really kind of peeves him off . it disturbs that already existing family dynamic and he already has a hard time handling aerion's death so it all just kind of piles up and he doesn't make an effort at all . you're not my real dad!!!!
not sure if they'd have any more kids though .. i talked about this in one of the latest asks i answered so it could either go the horror movie esque trapped forever as a wife and mother route or it just doesn't really go anywhere and they end up settling as is . i think given theyre both a bit older at this point it'd be a bit of a struggle but i don't know enough about pregnancy to say . <3 regardless the previous points stand for this potential half sibling . maegor is happy aenys is mad and has to go off and hit something really hard every time he thinks about it

What would branch being captured by the v's look like in the classical branch au
would trollzart and the others have to find his brothers or like how would they react to branch's brothers acting so undignified(by classical troll stantards) especially compared to branch who is literally The etiquette person(having written books and being a etiquette teacher, etc)
- :D
If Classical Branch was captured by Velvet and Veneer, I like to think the two actually have no idea if they actually caught Bitty B.
"Are we sure this is Bitty B?" "The name is 'Branch', my good sir." "Who cares if it is, we'll just lie and tell BroZone we have Bitty B."
John Dory gets the letter and goes to confirm himself, finding Classical Branch. He actually can't tell that Classical Branch is Branch, and Branch doesn't know that John Dory doesn't know.
JD: Hello? Hey! Hey are you okay? Branch: Johnathon Dory? JD: Uh just John Dory. Branch: My apologies. I'm relatively unharmed, though most indisposed. You best leave now, before Madam Velvet and Sir Veneer return. JD: I should get you out- WAIT! Do they have any other trolls here? Branch: No, just myself, thankfully. Though some company would help see me through the nights...
Branch tells JD to find his father, Trollzart, and even gives him directions to both Pop Village/Trollstopia and Symphonyville. JD plans to first stop by Pop Village to find his brothers and then he'll get "this Trollzart dude", as he still believes they are the best shot at the family harmony.
JD interrupts the wedding to ask about Branch like normal, now that the letter was a bust. Poppy tells him Branch just left a bit ago to return home to Symphonyville. JD, at this point, doesn't actually know what Symphonyville is or that it implies Branch is living with a whole other type of Trolls. So he just goes "GREAT! That's where the fancy dude I found also lives. Maybe Branch knows him!" He explains a bit more to Poppy and she has to tell him that WAS Branch he found.
JD insists she's mistaken ("No you didn't see this guy, he was a real fancypants nerd type and Bitty's just a baby") but Branch's friends all confirm that that's what Branch is like now. He still doubts it as he was told to find his 'father' and it's not possible for Branch to mean THEIR dad. Meeting the Classical Trolls he's even more confused because what is UP with these dudes?
Trollzart's instantly worried to hear Branch has been kidnapped, as well as upset with John Dory. "You just LEFT him there? Ah well I suppose the notion isn't foreign to you." But he's willing to do whatever it takes to save his darling boy.
The trip to find Bruce is tense as John Dory had been the patriarch of the family, and now some fancy dressed baby man who talks like he swallowed a dictionary (JD's words, not mine) is trying to claim he's Branch's dad?
When they get to the island, Bruce doesn't want to even listen to John Dory until Trollzart yells out "For heaven's sake, isn't there a single one of you who cares about dearest Branch?!" That gets Bruce's attention and he demands to know what's up. He wants to help but he's still a bit confused on Trollzart's role in this.
Since Branch isn't there, it's slightly thanks to Trollzart they find Clay. Bruce and John Dory are arguing back and forth and Trollzart remarks to Poppy that despite the glass he can "Smell the stench of those foul undergarments just as well as he could from a mile away". Poppy gets the idea to use them for Rhonda and they arrive at the Hole N Fun.
Clay initially is pretty cool with Trollzart, as he's "hardcore serious" but when it's clear that Trollzart has a grudge he gets defensive.
The brothers have no clue how to find Floyd but thankfully they don't need to. Floyd also received the letter and he meets up with them outside of Mount Rageous.
The group attempts to practice, resulting in their fighting. Floyd attempts to break it up, cue the line about going their separate ways. It's Trollzart who gets upset this time. "Ah what a displeasure it is to see the four of you reprising your star roles. Though it is my first time seeing it, my beloved son has described that dreaded day that I myself am experiencing deja vu witnessing this. Truly if the world is a stage you are most befitting of the villainous role. One must wonder what it must be like to care so little about anyone other than oneself, it must surely be quite liberating to not feel the least bit of sorrow at the thought of the infant you left behind."
Trollzart joins the fight, telling the brothers about what a joy Branch is to have as a son and doesn't reveal Branch's trauma but does imply Branch HAS trauma and its their fault. Trollzart tells them they don't deserve the option of a second chance and he leaves and tells Poppy he'll attempt this 'perfect family harmony' his own way.
Trollzart and Branch duet for the perfect family harmony, with Brozone playing more of a supporting role. I'm thinking it'd be sort of a broadway type of song. Kinda like 'Not While I'm Around' from Sweeney Todd or 'Dear Theodosia' from Hamilton, a little bit 'Slipping Through My Fingers' from Mamma Mia, even. If Classical Branch was an actual Trolls movie I'd probably make them hire that Lin Manual guy that @dialga64bitz keeps sending me pictures of in my submissions box to write the song.
And uh, yeah. That's about how it'd go I imagine.

What do you think Charlie's main flaws are? I see her not listening to others especially when she's close to what she wants, naivete, impulsiveness, and overly trusting nature.
meeeeehhhhhhhhh, seeing a crappy world and deciding to believe it can be better and that you're gonna treat it that way no matter how many crappy people call you stupid for it isn't a flaw in my book.
She's energetic but I wouldn't call her impulsive. Every major thing she does in s1 is usually part of a bigger dream she's been working on for a long while now.
She admits to Vaggie that she thought things would be easier but that still means she's been THINKING about it. She plans out group activities ahead of time and adjusts them depending on what's been going on- coming out from the Angel Dust thing with the idea of talking about boundaries and stuff. Same thing after the thing on the roof with Vaggie.
Sometimes she makes what feels like an well planned choice, go try to work out more hotel time for Angel Dust, put Vaggie in charge of trust building since she's (supposedly) also a sinner but one who's already learned this. Then she realizes in the middle of it that there's more here than she thought and she's suddenly a horrified bull in a tea shop trying to figure out how to get out without breaking more stuff.
Socially she's eager and wants to listen to people, she's just not a natural at it or at reading between the lines- at least not in hell where everyone's got trauma and most of the population is actively inflicting more of it on everyone else.
I can't call her overly trusting either.... she chooses to trust, sure, as part of her belief people can change, but it takes her being at her LOWEST POINT before she makes even ONE small deal with Alastor, for example, and she does NOT take that lightly. She expected him to ask for her soul, she warned him she wouldn't hurt people for him. She knows those are things he's capable of, and that he'll probably try twisting the deal somehow anyway.
And she's not unware her friends have done are doing and probably will do bad things. That's where the redemption thing comes in.
Her whole thing is knowing souls did horrible stuff to end up in her home, and not liking that horrible stuff at all, and thinking sinners sTILL shouldn't get destroyed over it.
Her not listening to people- well yeah, she's used to being told she's an idiot and her ideas are hopeless and she should care less about others and lie to people more. Now though her ideas are actually starting to become real things with real results like a hotel and people staying at that hotel and the people staying in the hotel actually starting to get along instead of just hating or murdering each other-
so s1 is her swinging between massive highs of confidence and decisive action and then crashing down into guilt self-blame and misery whenever the ideas that seemed to be working suddenly stop working for her.
and then she corrects course and tries again. It's not like she doesn't REALIZE when she oversteps or fucks up, she just doesn't notice it while it's happening, so it takes her a pretty normal hot second to reflect and go Oh and work on avoiding that specific thing next time.
if it's something she's actively managing or adjusting for then for me that's not a flaw, it's a personality trait.
Kinda like how Vaggie's personality is being strict and sharp tempered but her flaw is being so shamed of her secrets not even the threat of blackmail can pry them out of her until it fucks up the one thing she cares about most.
For Charlie the only real "flaw" I see is she's not got much experience actually figuring out WHAT she's feeling and why. Hence the occasional bursts of actual flaming fury and needing Rosie's help looking at and processing the Vaggie secret reveal thing.
She copes with the whole "mom missing people dying no one will listening to me dad disconnected" mess by ignoring how that makes HER feel and pouring herself into how she can make OTHERS feel, aka
"Don't worry, mom. I'll make you proud"
That's not a very sustainable way to cope with bad things happening to and around you.
I think Charlie needs a good long break down. Full on sobbing. Not about having failed anyone (her crying outside Angel's door) or losing anyone she loves (Sir Pentious, Dazzle) or being scared she'll lose them (curled up in bed angry and terrified vaggie might have been lying about loving her too).....
for once I want her to be sad just about herself, her sadness, her pain, her loneliness, her feels as a person named Charlie instead of the princess of hell who's trying to save the souls that heaven has already decide to damn.
Lucky she does have Vaggie and Vaggie gave a small nudge in this direction with the whole "and in the end if it's only me you've saved" thing, so odds feel good Charlie'll get there someday.
....buuuut that's just me an what i see when i look at her XD bubbly dramatic repressed girlie on main~

Soooo I made thing. I will probably redraw this in the cannon style in the future. As for my own personal style for drawing GF stuff, I'm still fleshing it out. But I have another AU now. My Hand of God AU has Ford committing to Bill and spending years trapped in a very abusive relationship, also the apocalypse so that's fun. This one's the complete opposite direction. Ford and Fidds accidentally come into possession of a pair of twins, these boys end up being the motivation it took for Ford to cut things off with Bill and do whatever it takes to keep him from ever getting out.
(I've yet to flesh out exactly how these two were born but the boys were created through anomalous means.)
On the left is Nik (Nikola) An adrenalin junkie who loves adventure and is an absolute menace to society as is the Pines tradition. On the right is Newt (Newton), a pastel-loving soft boy who will cry if you tell him pink is a girl color and gets overly attached to every weird critter Ford brings home.
Nick is missing a pinkie because Bill cut it off while possessing Ford when he was a baby as a threat. Trying to scare Ford into compliance by threatening to kill the boys. Ford did some very unsafe brain surgery on himself to make it impossible for him to ever sleep again. Cutting off Bill's ability to control him for the most part.
Portal is gone, still living in Gravity Falls though, and keeping an eye out for anyone Bill might try to manipulate. Fidds and his wife are divorced. Emma has primary custody but Tate stays with them in GF during the summers where he often bullies Nik and Newt. But Nik and Newt don't tell their dads about it because they know how much Fidds loves his other son and they don't want to make things complicated for him. Tate is just taking out his frustration over his parents failed marriage on his half-siblings. Fidds takes the twins with him when he visits Tate and the rest of his family in California for Christmas. Ford stays behind because Emma hates him and he doesn't want to deal with her family.
Ford and Fidds aren't married both cause it's not legal yet but also tbh not sure they ever would regardless just cause Ford is pretty disinterested in those sorts of formalities. Whatever it is they have going for them right now works for him.
Heavy thoughts below the cut.
TBH I made myself sad thinking about autistic people and our relationships. The way we love isn't always obvious to NT people and it can sometimes feel like you're not good enough for anyone because loving people in the way you're expected to is such a struggle.
Sometimes I see people frame Ford^2 as this completely unrequited thing and it reminds me of the experience of loving people very intensely but feeling unable to prove it because it's so difficult to live up to the standards most people have in relationships.
I like Fiddlestan as a ship it's cute and a fun idea and I get the appeal but there's a little nagging thought in the back of my head that it kind of implies Ford's neurotypical brother is better. More capable of real love. That Ford was never good enough. Not to say Fiddleford didn't deserve better but the idea that these two couldn't have worked makes me kind of depressed for kind of personal reasons so I wanted to make up a universe where they do.
Not to say there isn't plenty of material of Ford and Fidds reconnecting as old men and making it work but the fact they lost so much of their lives to bad decisions is still sad.

Angsty poly!Hawk x Reader x Robby thought:
Miguel and Sam just had their son and they're so happy and excited. It's the first kid of their friend group so the little guy is just so loved and everyone makes a fuss over him. Hawk is so happy to be an uncle, whenever they go over to Miguel and Sam's place, he always wants to hangout with the infant even if it's just holding him while he naps. It isn't all that surprising since Hawk spends his days at the dojo teaching kids the basics of karate, which he secretly calls the secrets of badassery. Hawk loves kids, so this of course leads to him making little comments about how he can't wait to be a dad some day.
At the same time, Robby is so nervous about even the idea that he could be anyone's father in the future. Robby works with kids though, kids in tough situations who feel like they have no control over his life. But that's totally different, he swears up and down it's not the same as being a father. And he's right, it's not the same. But he thinks he's a subpar youth advocate when he's actually a lot of kids and teens favorite person to talk to. He's selling himself short. It's a whole thing.
But all this to say that when Hawk and Reader start talking about possibly having a baby, Robby doesn't know what to do. He's so scared but sees how happy the idea of a baby makes his partners, that he goes along with it. He thinks, "I'm not ready but they are, so why should my dumb little fears stop them?" He starts to pull back from their relationship without realizing it. He spends more time working than he is at home. He's helping kids elsewhere, which is noble of course, but he's throwing himself into finding resources and help for these kids than ever before. He's falling asleep at his office while his partners are at home wondering where he is.
He of course is home when Reader announces she's pregnant and Robby pulls on a smile because she's so happy and he's happy because he's happy. For a moment, he's not thinking about his fears but he is repressing them because this is real now. And in some twisted way knowing that the baby is Hawk's and not biologically his helps him not freak out so much when he steps out of the room for a glass of water. His heart is beating so hard in his chest that he thinks it might break free and fall on the floor. Also, he might puke.
Hawk comes in and stands with him, silently, for a while. Robby smiles and Hawk sees right through it. "Stop with the bullshit."
"What do you mean?"
"You're not exactly subtle, but Reader is so excited that she can't even see you fake smile. So cut the bullshit and tell me what's really going on. Are you done with us?"
"Don't with- what are you talking about?"
"The late nights, the sleeping at the office, the few mornings you stay and eat breakfast with us, you're checked out, man. So tell me the truth, are you done with us?"
Robby can only stare for a moment, so Hawk continues.
Hes struggling to keep his voice level and low, not wanting to draw Reader's attention while she's on the phone with Sam in the other room. "Ever since we started trying for this baby, it's like you stopped caring-"
"It's not that."
"Then what is it then?"
"I'm scared!" Robby nearly shouts. He takes a deep breath but the tears prick his eyes. "I'm not ready for this."
"Then why did you agree to it?"
"Becaude you two were so happy about it and I didn't want to get I the way of that."
"We could have waited."
Robby shakes his head. "You'd be waiting a long time then because I don't know when I'll actually be ready for all of this."
"We could have talked about it."
"This is so dumb. There's nothing we can do about it now."
"Except talk about it," Hawk says so seriously that it almost chills Robby to the bone. "Why are you so scared?"
The tears have been free falling down Robbys face the whole time but he finally breaks and cries. "I don't wanna fuck this up. I mean- I mean, what if I can't do this? What if I'm just like my dad?"
Hawk doesn't say anything and just brings Robby into his arms. He holds him while he cries for a few minutes, rubbing his back but not sure of what to say. The words also have to sink in and Hawk is reminded of how hard Robby had it for so long, and it's why he does the nonprofit work with troubled kids because he was once one of them. Hawk knows that this is hard on anyone but a new baby is especially hard on people who had it rough.
"You're not your dad, Robby," he finally says. His voice is low and soft, only loud enough for Robby to hear over his muffled cries. "You're not even half as stupid as your dad."
Robby let's out a choked out laugh. He looks up at Hawk and his tears sparkle in his eyes. "Shut up. I'm serious," he says, but he's smiling through it.
Hawk shakes his head. "So am I. Your dad fucked up over and over... and over again, but you're too smart to let that happen."
"Yeah, but how do you know I'm not gonna fuck it up?"
Hawk pulls away and holds Robby by his face, making him look up and see him. He looks him in the eyes as he tells him, "Because I see the way you work with the kids at the youth center and how hard you try to get everything done for them, get then everything they need. You're already so great with those kids, so why not our kid?"
Robby doesn't know what to say. His throat is tight and hurts like he's going to start crying again. And he does, shrugging at the question because he truly doesn't know what the difference is. He just feels it and it scares him. Hawk kisses his tears away.
That's when Reader comes in and she's so confused. She looks so cute, a little lost, unaware of what's going on. It's a type of cluelessness and innocence Robby would like to keep intact because he doesn't want to bother her with his emotions and fears. He wants her to remain happy. But he can't look at her and her soft body the same now because he knows in a few months her pudgy tummy is going to round out into a prominent baby belly. And she's going to look even hotter, which he didn't think was possible because she's already so gorgeous.
"What's wrong? Did something happen?" she asks.
Robby shakes his head and smiles. And it's a true smile despite his fear. "I'm just really happy... but also scared out of my mind."
There no use in hiding his fears anymore. He knows Hawk won't hide these big feelings from her, so he tells her himself. And she pouts and comes over to him, hugging him and Hawk joins it too.
"Aww, honey, we're all a little scared," she says.
He looks at her. "But you're ready for this and I'm... I don't know if I am."
"Well, just because I said I was ready doesn't mean we're truly ready," she tells him, giggling. "It's so much to do and get ready and prepare for. You have time to get ready."
He nods gently, understanding what she's trying to say: us anyone ever really ready? He doesn't know. Maybe extremely prepared people, like Miguel and Sam, who were so elated when they found out they were having a bay that they just fell right into the prepping and planning process like pros. But they're still young, young and successful and supported by so many, they were likely only half ready.
Reader kisses Robby's cheek and smiles against his skin. "It's okay to not be ready, Robby. So long as you love us and we love you, were gonna be just fine."
He nods, unable to speak because he's scared if he does, he'll start crying again for a third time. He just basks in the hug from his partners, recharging off their energy. That's all he needs is them. And their excitement rubs off on him, making him smile when he thinks about the baby, his fears slowly fading.
And when he goes with Hawk and Reader jer first scan, they're all so excited. Though he nearly faints when he learns that they're not having just one baby, but two!
But it's okay, Hawk catches him. And he knows they're ready for this.

I sort of have an idea for an imagine. What about a Filipino!reader where she loves to eat and her favorite is puto(the spiders probably always see her eating). So one time somebody like Miguel asks her what she was eating and she says "puto" with a warm smile and all and then Miguel is just baffled (you add like the other spiders who understand spanish in the scene).
The thing is puto is literally a cuss word in Spanish-speaking countries. It can either mean a rude word for a coward, a prostitute, or a slur for a gay man. And puto in Filipino is just rice cakes 😋.
And so Miguel and the others thought you were cussing him when in reality you were painfully oblivious and unaware. And miscommunication and culture clash/shock.
Also, pasukan sa eskwelahan na naman 😭😭.
LOL HI POOOOOO, for real, nasa bakasyon mode pa me mgee, also omg that reminds me of the cute ass yt short i saw of a filipino mom teaching her kid about the dessert in front of her colombian dad LMAOOOOO i love it and I HOPE YOU LOVE THIS <333
(reblogs are greatly appreciated, it helps get my content out there! if you guys like what you see, please reblog it too <:D)
you said... what? — miguel o'hara x filipino!reader
you were happily snacking on your favorite childhood classic snack, a steamed plump rice cake that you bought from your home dimension before heading over to HQ. as you were just minding your own business, stuffing your face with the delightful treat, miguel had noticed you being at peace eating. he looked at the box of assorted colored rice cakes, some were white while others were purple, with some having bits of cheese on them.
"whaddya got there?" he asked as he looked at the rice cakes you had with you. you stopped biting into the food and looked up at miguel with a bright smile. "ah, my favorite dessert snack from back home in the philippines." you explained. miguel nodded as he looked at you. "what's it called?" "ah, puto." you answered him with a sweet smile, which starkly contrasted with miguel's contorted wince. "um... come again?" he asked you in a softer voice this time. "ah, i said it's called 'puto'." you repeated, but miguel staggered backwards a little as he was still in disbelief that he heard what he thought he heard. you handed him a piece, asking him to try it. "i love having some puto in my mouth, y'know? it fills me up just right after a long day." you said with a sigh of contentment as you dug into the rice cake again, smiling widely as miguel looked at the snack and back at you, unsure if he's comfortable with saying the snack's name.
he took a bite and could agree with you, the snack certainly was delicious... though the name kind of made miguel a little taken aback. he does respect that you and your people call it as it is, he'll just remind himself it isn't a dirty word, it's the name of this quaint little dessert that you loved dearly in this context. but if he's being honest right now, he doesn't wanna think at the moment, he just wants to savor the goodness of this snack you really love with you, regardless of what it was named.

TDP s6: Soren, Viren and missing the point (1/2)
I’ve seen some discussion surrounding the topic of whether or not book 6 of The Dragon Prince did justice to the complicated relationship between the male components of the mage fam, and as someone who fell in love with the writing of the show (in the first three seasons), as well as someone who relates to Soren’s struggle with Viren, I wanted to share my two cents. Of course, those are filtered through my very own lens, so none of what I’m going to say is ill intended or means to be disrespectful to the writers, cast, crew or fans that enjoyed what we got in book 6. I just really want to share my own thoughts because the direction this show has been taking these past few years is eating me up alive😊
*clears throat*
SPOILERS FOR THE DRAGON PRINCE SEASON 6!
What I find really frustrating and unsatisfying is that the scenes of confrontation between father and son that we got in s6 are done in a way that seemingly wants to punish Viren more than it wants to empower Soren- even though the scenes taken singularly are extremely well done, from the voice acting to the animation to the mood of it all... the problem arises only when looking at things according to the very principles the series tries to convey.
Just so that we’re all on the same boat here: the core theme of the series is the difference between power and true strength, and more specifically how the latter comes in the shape of only apparent weaknesses, such as love, vulnerability and forgiveness- all things that ultimately aim at connection.
Here’s the thing:
While yes, acting or not acting this way is a personal choice, Soren doesn’t really seem to choose to not to forgive Viren; rather he’s portrayed as uncapable of doing the opposite, meaning that he isn't really given the chance to be ‘strong’ according to the series’ values. It's one thing to say that Soren doesn't forgive his dad despite the change Viren went through because Soren doesn't owe him that, but it's a whole other thing to say that Soren doesn't forgive his dad because he refuses to believe said change happened in the first place (which by the time they meet again in s6 it’s just plainly untrue, but I’ll talk about Viren in part 2).
Now, since Soren is pretty much fine whenever Viren isn’t around, and since forgiveness is a part of the core theme of the series, what one could assume that Soren already forgave him and went on with his life for 2 years with no problem because he was at peace with what happened (which is the point of the act of forgiving, not only here but in real life too). Then Viren shows up again, and there’s a state of shock…the first time. Soren meets Viren in the Drakewood and we got no interaction between them, and whatever, that’s fine. Maybe he was processing it all.
The scenario in which they meet here however it’s very different: Soren is told ahead of time and he willingly goes to see his father despite no one forcing him to, as if he couldn't help it (at least up to a certain point).
This, unlike the state of shock that may or may have not been the reason they didn’t face one another sooner, isn’t a situation that should take away Soren’s capacity to stand up to his abuser with pride that he displayed all the way back in s3: does anybody remember that? How in the finale Soren was super ready for a confrontation right then and there, not as a hurt kid but as a confident and secure young man?
Yet this time, Soren isn’t depicted as capable of proudly facing the source of his pain to begin with, for whatever reason. Here he’s either numb, mad or sad, framed as a broken boy who can only live happily if he full on ignores what hurt him, which is far from the idea of moving on. Even in the optic where this is a form of stepping up for himself, considering that (as I mentioned) he was already capable of it and we already know how deeply hurt he was by Viren, the interactions we get in s6 give us nothing that we didn’t already know.
Since this is (probably) the last chance the two will have at conversation, there should've been more to it this time around. Some kind of proper conclusion before parting ways: that would be closure.
If Soren couldn’t forgive Viren when the latter was believed dead and didn’t have to face him at all once, it was probably due to the lack of closure (or by principle, I’ll get to that in a second), which could be the reason why he kept going back to the dungeon, though unaware of it; at this point it’s easy to see that, in order for the relationship to center the point the overall story is trying to make (or to barely allow a character that has suffered as much as Soren to finally heal), having closure here was a must, especially if they intended for him to go through the same thing twice.
As someone who has lived a similar situation as Soren has with Viren I say this with all the bitterness possible: for better or worse, forgiveness it’s something you do for your own sake of moving forward. I think that a lot of people, in general, mistake forgiveness for reconciliation.
The issue isn't that these two characters don’t reconcile, if anything, that's something that I liked and actually hoped for; the issue is that if closure and forgiveness are about inner peace (and they are), and not about reconciliation (and they're not), both things being denied now is unfair at best, and cruel at worst.
For anyone who claims that the entire thing was "realistic", please keep in mind that this is a fictional story where the characters are either rewarded or punished at the mercy of the writers, not to mention that said fictional story also wants to deliver a very clear moral message, meaning that most of the big character moments should bare minimum lean towards said message.
Even assuming this wasn’t the case, that forgiveness not being granted here is for the best and it doesn’t ruin the overall message of the story, Soren still deserved closure; he could have then decided to not forgive his father.
But okay- let's say that all of what I’ve been typing so far here isn't true and that Soren not believing his father was perfect: it could have, admittedly, somewhat worked if they had Soren, an emotionally smart and open-minded guy, actually hear his father out before… I don’t know, calling him out on his hypocrisy perhaps, for apologizing for mistreatment when there’s so much more he did, or for claiming to be a changed man when he puts the responsibility of fixing what he caused onto others by asking to serve someone else and that’s because he doesn't know how to be good man on his own, or how he chose to not pick up the pieces of what he left behind and brings up Viren's decision to leave behind his sister, who will likely fall into Aaravos's arms out of desperation… something.
What I'm getting at is that anything would have been satisfying if at least they allowed the characters to truly communicate with one another, regardless of the outcome, instead the possibility of real confrontation being denied to them so a spectacle can be made of Viren's guilt and unaccepted apologies.
‘Cause no, if one of the characters actively chooses not to listen to what the other one is saying, it’s not an actual confrontation, it’s barely a conversation. It’s just dialogue.
Aside from the logistics of it all, I've rewatched book 1, 2 and 3 about a hundred times during the hiatus, and I confidently believe (though this is 100% my own reading of the character) that among other things, everything that happens between Soren and Viren here fails to consider the kind of person Soren is at heart: he would never say something like "I want to see you suffer"; he would never angrily punch a wall (or, in this case, the dungeon’s bars). Those obviously aren’t unreasonable reactions, they are just out of character. To make a real-life example, if you were to go outside and a random man started screaming at you, it’d be understandable for you to scream back, just like it would be for you to freeze or run away; it all depends on who you are as a person.
Soren isn’t the type who’d get physically violent as a result of emotional outbursts* against a person he loves (if he isn't completely apathetic it's because he still cares, despite everything), nor the one who’d deliberately be mean to said someone, even when hurt, angry and would have all the right to be mean. What the hell happened to “he's cruel, but you don’t have to be” or whatever he said in s5?
He just isn’t that kind of person at all. If anything, Soren would very likely find it in him to be happy for his father while still not wanting him in his life anymore.
[*edit: this one specifically isn't just a matter of character, but also a matter of discipline: Soren is literally a trained soldier. I get why Callum would punch someone in the face during an adrenaline rush due to feeling intense anger and stress, but Soren was able to keep his cool not only when the pain of seeing Viren's "true colors" was fresh, but when at the very same time the man was being a threat to Ezran's life (so even according to Crownguard code he would have had a pass to immediately react)... maybe that's why it strikes me as odd]
Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoyed this season far more than what it might seem, but since Soren is the only reason I stuck around after the massive disappointment that was s4, I really really wanted this moment to be the absolute best, and at least personally I feel like this was just not it… but I’m crossing my fingers, hoping that maybe, in one way or another, they will give Soren his moment of acceptance and allow him to truly move on.
Something that I can’t hope anymore for Viren…

OLD ENOUGH 2 DIE
Re4 Leon X Fem! Reader
Tw - drug trafficking
P in v, finger stuff
Tumblr media
You were a spoiled bitch, had daddy's money to take care of anything.
"Daddy - pleasee com'on It's only 2k, can you transfer the money? Yay! Thank you daddy mwah"
Spoken into the brand new phone you got, you had money, had everything. Never went a day without living like a queen, never understanding poor people 'ugh why can't you just work harder? Honestly it's not that hard ' said to thousands of waiters at 5 star restaurants. Never even tipped em, throughout high school you were a dick to everyone, if they weren't hot and skinny. Classic mean girl to be honest
"Hunny, absolutely not. We can all tell that bag is a fake, it's embarrassing.. you should honestly thank me for telling you how stupid you look.."
"Oh! That's not.."
"Babes, you know I want the best for you so.. that dress really makes you look fat, maybe wear something more flattering?"
Backhanded comments were your LIFE, had every privilege, didn't even try in school. Just sucked and fucked your way to A's, but you were hot so it's fine! It doesn't matter if the pretty girl makes the slug kill herself? She's all innocent, everyone who tried to defend you was hilarious. "Oh she's just insecure!!" Bullshit, no you weren't? You just hated all those chicks. Rightfully so, they were all annoying whores.
You were just treating them how they deserved to be, not like any of them had a future besides sucking dick.. you're different though, that's what you always told yourself. Sure you dressed like a skimpy bimbo, fucked the sports team twice. But you're different, an exception to the slut rule..
"Daddy can you send me an Uber? I don't have enough money in my account. Dad I said I spent it all shopping- no dad please- it's gonna be night soon, I NEED an Uber. Daddy? UGH" stomping your feet, making your own little hissy fit in the middle of the street, clutching the little pink fur purse you bought, looking around at all the people staring at you. Pout on your face and brows furrowed, throwing your phone on the ground and walking away, you were a good half hour away from home, and these boots were NOT made for walking. They were brand new plus, wouldn't wanna ruin em. And to top it all off it was freezing cold, like -15C. All you had was a white fur coat belted around your waist, with stupid little ear muffs. Couldn't even find matching gloves, freezing cold at Six PM alone on a Friday night, with no phone .. what a perfect day!
Stomping off not really knowin' where you're going isn't that smart though, but you were never a smart kid. Never did drugs or anything like that, just not very smart in the real world. Couldn't read signs, or fight, or have basic common courtesy. Shuffling your feet through the snow for god knows how long till tik street lights flicker on. By this point you got no clue where you are, started off downtown now you were in the middle of fucktown with nothing you recognize, see this is why daddy should've moved to a smaller town after The business deal, that way cops wouldn't be on his ass and you would know where you're going. Sure DC was the place to be! Except for the fact it's the stupidest place to be if your main source of income is drug trafficking, you didn't care where daddy got his money as long as you got it in the end. But what you did care about is when daddy refused to be smart about his shit. Like what are you on if you think moving to Washington is a good idea after makin' a major deal, you're dad was important. He was wanted for a lot. But you didn't do anything wrong, you're innocent! So you never cared about what would happen if dear old dad got caught, he could buy himself out of trouble just like before.
Still aimlessly walking up and down the streets trying to find anything identifiable when you hear footsteps behind you.
Turning your head to see who's behind you, and it's a taller man with blonde hair, it's getting dark so there's not that many details. He's wearing  really weird clothes, just staring at you, his eyes narrow and look at your face in the flickering lights before opening his dumb mouth
"Listen, we can make this easy kid. Just come with me back-" he started speaking, stepping towards you. Immediate nope, fuck that, the police actually caught the hell on? AND THEY WENT AFTER YOU? Worst day ever, dropping your bag and making a run for it just like daddy said.
"Sweetie, if the cops ever find you, and are onto you. Run. And run far."
Never actually thought what that old sack of shit said mattered, I mean nothing bad ever happens to you.
Running around corners, frantically, heart racing, why, why, why, why. You had NOTHING to do with daddies private shit, if anything you're a victim to his crimes.. yeah victim! I mean dad was a creep sometimes, huggin' a bit too tight, grabbing your ass like you were his girlfriend. Even though mom was dead for a long time, he never got over her and I guess you looked closest to her?
Running into an alley way, like any smart fucken girl would, totally. There was a chain link fence, then what looked like a field leading to someone's apartment building? Pretty sure someone from school lives there, yeah Milo in Chem 100% does he's the welfare kid and this was the poor side of town. Bingo.
"Ah- not so fast"
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
Don't even reply, no don't reply, you have about five fucking seconds before getting dragged away and everything taken away. Pathetically trying to pull yourself over the fence, y'know if you really tried you could do it. But you don't try. Feeling a hand grab your ankle, pull you down ripping your cute coat, if you're gonna kidnap a girl at least keep her shit nice damn. He throws you down, trying to scramble up only to get immediately knocked out and your unconscious body dragged away.
"fuck" you mutter under your breath, opening your eyes drowsy, vision kinda blurry but you can see everything, trying to move your hands and legs but then feeling the rough rope press against your sensitive skin, looked like you were an old ass storage unit, some boxes piled up in the corner, walls looked rusty. A table in the middle of the small room, and a guy just standing there. Few seconds later lights flicker on, they're dim but you can now see detail in everything. That includes your unknown kidnapper? Or agent? Or cop? He wasn't really dressed like any of them, wore a dark blue t shirt, tactical black pants, and black gloves. Not sure what profession of people wear that, plus he was too cute to just be a random kidnapper, pretty blonde hair with gorgeous blue eyes and a muscular figure.
"Oh you're awake, huh thought that would've taken longer." He says eyes darting towards you as you try to wiggle out of the rope, it's tight. "Who the fuck are you? Where's my dad! Do you even know who I am?" You say acting as if your dad was a fucken celebrity and not a filthy pig. You knew you were in a deep fucken mess, so when in doubt, lie. Lie about everything, you're innocent, no Mr. officer my father would never! You have the wrong girl I'm just a highschooler !
"Don't play dumb missy, cut the shit. Let's get to the point, I know your dear old dad is involved with a lot. And so are you, aren't you? So why don't you tell me where dad does all his importing and where he gets the shit from, hm?" He says coldly, almost as if he's talkin' to a little kid. "I don't know what you're talking about. Just let me go!" You whine staring up at him, he's just standing infront of you arms crossed over his chest, getting a better look at him, he wasn't just a random guy, he looked important. Didn't know why though, a sigh comes from his lips as he blinks slowly at you, "honey, I really don't wanna get messy. Just hand over the information and you can go back to doin' whatcha do, I don't care." He said, arms still folded over his chest, he was a good fifteenth-ish feet away from you and your chair, you grit you teeth, brows furrowed as you stare at this guy. Pissed off, "don't call me honey, I told you I don't know what you're talkin' about." You mutter to him, pout on your stupid lips.
"You're a bad actor, it's really obviously. Plus you're on file, darling. Now can you just tell me the important stuff?" He said putting on an obvious fake begging face, puppy eyes and all. You were trying to get untied, only getting rope burns on your wrists, squirming and whimpering in that tiny wood chair. "I didn't do anything, I don't know what daddy does to get money.. talk to him not me" you say batting your lashes, pushing your face out towards him, he takes another step forward. Putting his arms down, lookin' at you like you were some thing he found on the bottom of his shoe. "You have the face of a pornstar" he says out of the fucking blue, such a handsome voice but such a shocking thing. "I'm in highschool, pig." You scrowl jaw clenched, tone change from 'inccocent little girl' to 'raging bitch.' like a public appearance vs how you act in private. "Mm, well you're eighteen now correct? Nothing's wrong with that now is it? And it's just a fact, you've fucked and sucked your way up. No way someone like you is about to pass, in truth you're a pathetic attempt at human and a failure of whatever we can even call your sorry ass. But at least you make up with it for a massive rack and cute face"
Ouch. Okay.
Words didn't even form, jaw dropped, eyes shocked. Honestly not even knowing what to say, what do you say to that? 'oh yes sorry Mr man you're right I'm a dirty slut!" Absolutely not, because you aren't. "So, you gonna answer me?" He says, he's just a few feet away from you, leaning down to your whiny ass face. A small smirk on his dumb lips,
"fuck. you."
He just looked blankly, at you, almost dumbfounded by how much of a fucking MORAN you were, tied up in small place, no one knows where you are, daddies house is probobly getting raided and he's waiting in jail or has twenty bullets through his back while you're agonizing this man five times your size whom you are at HIS mercy. But hey, it could be worse. He could've killed ya already, he obviously needs you alive. So you're safe, for now. He cups your chin making you look at him directly
"You're such a dumb whore." He whispers letting you go, can't lie he's hot, feeling a throb in your legs, lump in your throat and pushing your thighs together, dumb little slut. Just fuck my brains out already oh my god.
"Seriously? Getting horny in an integration, fuck little missy you really are a freak." He says laughing to himself looking at your pathetic bitch display, all dumb n needy, breath rasp and heavy, feeling an emptiness only filled by fat dick, staring at the man, didn't even know his name, never told ya. He gets close up again and sticks to fingers in your mouth, pushing them back. Your tounge running around them, sucking, like a good little fuck doll. Sloppy and all wet, pulling his index and middle finger out your mouth saliva dripping off of it, stupid ass smirk on his face rubbing his fingers down your chest, over your pretty white shirt and over your tits. You're still bound to the chair, wanting nothin' more then to get bent over and fucked till you can't even remember daddies in trouble, this entire moment is just pure lust. He gives you the look like, 'is this what you really want? Seriously?' and of course you reply with a
"I'll answer you if you give me what I want."
That's all it took for him to untie you from that god forsaken chair, just to tie your hands together again. Push you onto your back, pressing your thighs apart. You aren't wearing much, your coat was gone lost somewhere in the ally, only wearing black shorts and a white top. Stupid for the middle of winter but it was hot.   He takes out a small switch blade from his pocket cutting open your shirt and shorts off, pornstar tits popping out in a little pink bra also exposing the matching panties. Even all finished off with a cute little bow, unzipping his pants his dick springs out, your pussy THROBBING, aching. He cuts the shit off and pushes you firmly on the ground, your arms still bound above your head, his chest just over yours pushing into you, stretching you open. His tip resting nicely in your cervix when he starts rockin' back and forth. Hitting you all the good spots, moaning n' a mess, hes pretty much silent groaning here and there when he speeds up, lifting you up slightly, more like your at an angel on him, he grips your back and rocks you back and forth, feeling your walls tighten  around him feeling all numb and high, cumming over his fat cock, his pull out games fast. Just as you finish he pushes you back on your neck and unloads on your stupid face, 'before grabbing you lazily and pressing your body against his, you were all dumb and covered in your own mess. But he was gentle with you, soft, he was nice. Nicer then anyone else had been, softer then anyone else despite fucking your brains out. His breath was heavy as he held onto you, chest to chest. Can't tell if he's doing' this cause he feels some sort of pity for you but fuck if you care it's comforting, you felt all warm and fuzzy. Weird.
"Please don't leave me here."
"I know you're eighteen, years old, but you're still old enough to die. Right here. Right now. So talk"

911 ep 710 first watch reactions
Ha, so Chris is upset, Eddie is distraught and his go to person is Buck, who drops everything else and comes over right away. And not for the first, or second, or third time. Yes, this is exactly how every platonic friendship I've ever had has played out.
The way Buck reads Eddie, knows him so well, that Buck can vocalize the part that Eddie can't say out loud right away... Soul mates.
"What you always do." Married soul mates.
LOL The way Hen and Chim don't even blink when Buck and Eddie show up at the hospital together, like the married couple they are. XD
This group of fire fighters being the best amateur detectives on TV since the Scooby Doo gang will never not be funny. Also, highly implausible, but that just makes it funnier.
"You go to hell!" "You first!" So 911 was having a western kink kinda month, and decided to set up this very likely storyline, just to be able to quote Tombstone? Hmmm.
"This one, we both walk out of." See, 911 is the show where I can roll my eyes 30 times during a storyline, but the climax moment still gets to me with its humaneness. That's the show's power. And the follow up reunion with Bobby! I had no doubt he'd live, but it was still very emotional to walk with Athena down the hospital hallway into his room and get to not only see, but also feel it.
"Bobby is the father I've never had." We know, but it was still nice to hear. "Your father's alive." Oh, Tommy. How little you understand Buck. "So maybe we both have daddy issues." "I don't." "But you think I do." "God, I hope so." lol Is this supposed to be flirting? If so, it's so off the mark for me, the dart ended up in outer space. I mean, Buck obviously has daddy issues, and I guess whoever needed that confirmed can celebrate (I'm sure there will be even more fics digging into this now), but pointing that out in the middle of a date is hardly the sexy move this ep's writer seems to think it is? IDK, I'm obviously a Buddie shipper, I like BuckTommy better than any other r/s Buck's had with a non-Eddie person, I do enjoy it as a part of Buck's journey (and I also generally believe in ship and let ship, even when something isn't my endgame), but even if I was a BuckTommy shipper, IDK that I would have liked that line. Especially when it treads a bit close to the issues I had with the BuckAbby r/s, which the show has never properly addressed. Oh, well. I'm still mostly amused that someone thought this was a great flirty line.
"He's 13, he should have a say!" To be heard? Yes. To have the final say? No. He's 13, not 18. There's a reason why at that age, we don't let kids make decisions for themselves yet. Also, the Diaz parents trying to pretend like the fact that Chris suggested him living with them for a while isn't their secret fantasy come true (or that they have no past where they hurt their son with this idea) is just crude. Also, hinting to Eddie that if he doesn't let Chris run away from his problems, then he'll be just like Ramon, is fucked up.
Also, kinda hilarious that Buck and Eddie's daddy issues are both brought up in the same ep. Sometimes being soul mates means exactly that, getting your partner perfectly because you have the same emotional baggage.
So, Chris is leaving, and the first one to talk to him on screen since the Kim debacle, and since he got the green light to go, is Buck? And Buck's also still there for the actual parting moment? Speaking of actual dads rather than bio ones...
I really liked Eddie just hugging Chris, using no words. There might not be anything he can say to fix this right now, but he still loves his son more than anything, and he can still let Christopher know that. And then when the message didn't get through, even though he's not a words person, Eddie managed to verbalize it. Don't mind me, I'll just be bawling quietly in the corner.
Buck's comforting hand on Eddie's shoulder is the real MVP. <3
I'm glad Mara's back in touch with Hen, Karen and Denny, but this feels a bit like a "deus ex machina" moment, even if it's just to wrap up the season finale, and not the final resolution of this storyline.
Bobby and Amir are actually so similar. They both lost everything, they both were at their lowest, they both chose to help others when they had nothing else left to live for. That handshake was a nice ending to their story, and it did feel more "earned" for not coming quickly or easily.
Ha, that ending. It's a good twist of events as a build up for season 8, it's just interesting because 911 doesn't usually do end of season cliff hangers. I also feel like, knowing the show, I can already predict more or less how it will turn out, so I'm not even feeling that much suspense. But it's not a bad turn of events, so long as it works for most viewers, I suppose. Overall, I enjoyed most of season 7, it feels revitalized, better paced and structured (despite being shorter) than seasons 5 and 6, and I have no doubt everyone will flock back to see how things unfold in season 8. Especially when this season was a nice reminder of everything this show can do right, and why we love these characters and fire family so much.
Thank you for reading! If you’re looking for more, you can find my s7 reactions tag here, and more of my Buddie meta and content in my pinned post. xoxox

Love you art, did you ever go anywhere with that sbi heroes au with Tommy becoming a villain to get their attention?
Firstly I completely forgot that asks were a thing for a while so I'm going to answer this now I am SO SORRY I'M SO SORRY I TOOK SO LONG thank you so much for being interested in my silly ideas
TO answer your question of.. I don't know how long ago you sent this I'm sorry, nah, I mean I had an idea that I'll put bellow but for the most part it was always just meant to be a one time thing, since in my opinion superhero AUs were used and done a lot to the point where I didn't feel my personal au added anything original enough to really turn it into something more
Also I just didn't feel like it 😭
BUT I did let my mind wander and came up w some plot ideas back then so here you go:
Phil, for some reason I never thought of, started working for the hero committee, mainly for money to support his family because while it was very dangerous it payed well, and then Techno & Wilbur when they get older noticed how overworked Phil is and how he keeps putting himself in danger and so to help out their dad they start helping him out.
Tommy always admired the hero Phil presents himself as, but he never really knew that it was his dad, nor that ANY of his family were heroes.
SBI neglected tommy (without meaning to but they still did) because they were quickly climbing up the ranks as best heroes and the committee likes money or whatevs so they kept getting more cases each more complicated than the last cuz the government was like "instead of risking our lives let's let them handle it"
Tommy is eventually told his family's secret (on his 15th birthday) and this makes him hopeful that something Will change,,, yeah no, they still have to leave but this time Tommy just takes it even worse because before he thought they either didn't like him or were actually busy, but now it's worse because it turns out his family are the TOP THREE HEROES (though if I were working on it nowadays I'd change this so they're a bit lower rank yet still on the top heroes ranks, but not top top)
they can literally get out of work if they want they're the most beloved heroes and surely they earn enough so that means they're just having so much fun being heroes that hanging out with tommy isn't worth it (this isn't really true, but Tommy's a bit of unreliable narrator in this)
Then the plan somehow forms of Tommy doing villainous acts to encounter SBI, it works the first few times because all he does is like, tag along with them as they're busy (mainly Wilbur), and SBI think he's a vigilante who's just a big fan and they entertain him.
Eventually they stop paying attention to him because they start getting scolded by the committee to stop wasting time (Phil is mainly the one who gets scolded and pulls back, he's polite in doing so but a bit cold when tommy(vigilante mode) keeps pushing, Techno didn't care for this mysterious fanboy in the first place, Wilbur is having fun but still lightly rejects Tommy's (vigilante mode) attempts at hanging out after a while)
They also stop paying attention to him when they realize that his 'villanous acts' aren't anything that crazy that some of the top heroes need to monitor him, if anything it's just like, breaking windows of abandoned places and graffiti on walls about how SBI suck and how the hero committee is trash
After SBI stop spending time w him even as a vigilante Tommy grows desperate, getting more and more reckless with his acts, and meanwhile in his real life he's avoiding his family as much as he can because the shame and disgust he feels at the fact that his family just keep on putting on a kind face when he knows they want nothing to do with him makes him want to punch a whole in a wall
Turbo & Ranboo are there (BENCHTRIO.. 😭)
With Ranboo being concerned but deciding not to get involved because it's not like Tommy's "actually putting anyone in danger" and with Tubbo just backing Tommy up in whatever crazy shit he decides to do, but also calling Tommy a dumbass when he gets himself hurt or when he actually does start endangering people
Things start to escalate as Tommy gets more and more desperate to spend time w SBI, who by that point are warming up to him (his vigilante (?) Villain (?) Self), but they keep getting told by their superiors not to engage and Tommy's just constantly chasing any sort of what he perceives as affection from his family, which is the annoyance that starts to show up on their faces when he's there but it doesn't matter because they don't /leave/, they still dismiss him, but with the mask, he can be himself without being scared that he'll scare them away, because if they get far enough away form him he can just keep causing problems and have them scold him and have a reason for them to spend time with him and notice him
So basically it's Tommy's decent into becoming genuinely self destructive and dangerous out of just wanting to be noticed and loved by his family, his heroes. And the more SBI push him away without noticing what they're doing, the worse he's getting.
And that's just the ideas I had for Tommy himself! But yeah, sorry it was so much text ;(
This is the au the person's talking about btw:

Okay you gave me permission so now it's time to go fully autistic
*inhale*
So something I'm really interested in (mostly for my Bandee x Marx bias) is that comic with Marx and Bandee interacting, like, what's their relationship in this au, how'd they get to that point and heck, what was even happening? also it kinda seems like Bandee may be the main guy in this au or is just really important which makes me happy as Bandee isn't treated the best by Nintendo at all (hell, Sakrai said he didn't add Bandee into smash because he didn't like him) so seeing Bandee get the spotlight always brings me joy
And about the Meta and Galacta comic, it seems like Bandee plays a factor here too, with the mention of him being what gets the most reaction out of Meta and that makes sense because canonically Bandee is the weakest of the four and most likely to die quite easily, so it would make sense for the others to be protective of him
ALSO META BEING SEALED AWAY AND GALACTA SAYING HE'LL TAKE GOOD CARE OF, I'M ASSUMING BANDEE, DOES THAT MEAN GALACTA TAKES META'S PLACE??? HELLO???
anyway hi im really invested and also your art is fucking astounding
hell yea, fully autistic! the best kind of message! thank you also for the sweet words about my artwork ahhh! but hoo boy isn't this The Ask Ever. okay, let's get into it!
Bandee is, i think maybe obviously, my most specialist little guy ever and everything i make is likely about him in one way or another. so you're correct that he is indeed the main guy in both these AUs; he is the central protagonist which i think he deserves!!
Tumblr media
(but he does also go through the angst blender a bit, just like... a warning. i adore happy endings but before that i do tend to meat-grind my faves pretty well in the drama machine.)
clockwork heart is actually a spin-off of awtdy (we do a little AU-ception in my household) which is our* primary au. (*a lot of my au work and headcanons are fleshed out very collaboratively with my girlfriend! the initial concept for awtdy was her idea, which i then very meanly shoved my bandee-important agenda into lmao)
awtdy sets this basic alternate world-state: during the Haltmann invasion, Galacta Knight defeats Meta Knight in battle and makes a wish on Star Dream to trade places.
this causes all sorts of terrible fun problems for everybody and basically gives rise to a bad timeline that a lot of folks do not come out of intact (rip floralia)
the Meta Knight vs Galacta Knight comic covers an important turning point in the story, where Meta Knight lets slip that he cares about Bandee the way he cares for Kirby. Meta Knight has an especially strong reaction to this for two reasons:
one is because, as you said, of the three remaining heroes Bandee is the most vulnerable-- seasoned and experienced fighter he may be, but against someone like Galacta Knight? 💦 he's still ultimately just a mortal dude. this obviously puts him at terrible risk, because Galacta Knight also considers him far more expendable than Kirby.
"i'll take good care of him" is transparently a threat and not actually... you know, kind.
secondly is because (unbeknownst to Galacta Knight) Bandee uniquely remembers Meta Knight. he knows that the timeline is screwed up and Galacta Knight is not meant to be there, and is actively working to rescue his real dad mentor. Meta Knight knows that if he's found out, Galacta Knight won't hesitate to kill him.
suffice to say the guilt of this would drive him capital i Insane!
as for the Marx "hurt like hell" comic, I am actually sorry to have to tell you that that scene is their first ever interaction in this au! 😂 in this alternate version of the story Marx is also aware of the timeline fuckery (due to his existence as an eldritch, temporal little creature) and he tracks Bandee down late in the game with a risky trade offer; which Bandee refuses. that's what's pictured in the comic!
it goes on for quite a long ways after that; though I don't know if it'll tickle your ship dynamic quite right because Marx is mildly antagonistic towards Bandee (and everyone) the whole time. so while they are cursed to be Stuck Together By The Narrative they are not really close or even particularly friendly.
they do indeed interact in it quite a lot, and I personally think Marx would gladly shoot his shot if he was offered it; but Bandee is neck-deep in a different ship for the entirety of awtdy and is especially miserable/pining as hell throughout clockwork heart.
but that's okay because Bandee is, uh-- totally fine!! he's normal. he's fine. he's very very fine and things will be very very okay.

Arc 6, Reflections
A lot of people will talk about about how with or after Leviathan, people stopped liking Worm, or felt like the work really changed after that, and there's something to that, to an extent.
But honestly, Arc 6 feels like the real sea change here, the real shift. Maybe post-Leviathan will to, but with Arc 6, the last nails in the coffin of the idea 'Taylor the Hero' is done.
I feel like it's quite likely, just as there were people who kept powering through the dark and despair hoping it would get better (spoiler alert: It doesn't), there were people who were counting on Taylor's eventual turn to heroism.
And here, Taylor has burnt her bridges with the heroes, and basically burnt her bridges with dad now, and decided... nope. Fuck it. I pick friendship and what Coil is offering and friendship and the one outlet I have left over the heroes.
As she notes, if she'd had someone she could have talked to sooner, maybe it works out. Maybe she makes it work, maybe she doesn't, maybe she finds a way to keep going.
The thing is, if she had turned on Coil and the Undersiders right now... what would it have accomplished? She doesn't actually know the truth of Coil's rather broken af power, so it's impossible for her to give the heroes adequate information. She just screws herself over, honestly.
Like, I've seen a lot of people say that if someone reads worm and comes away thinking Taylor is completely correct in what she does and really did make the best choice, they're wrong, and I'm right there with that take, because I mean - fuck, no, none of this is the best choice she could make with the information she actually had.
And yet, when you look back on everything, in hindight... maybe my opinion will change as I keep reading, but it's hard to imagine a universe where Taylor hands all this over to the Protectorate and quits villainy and even tries a run as an Indie hero (I mean, really, her actual list of crimes - not counting what she does to ABB gangsters or Lung, which, I mean, bad, but context - is really minor at this point) actually works out?
Like, maybe it does, maybe it doesn't, but there's a lot of AU work that needs to be done to ground all that, because taking down a guy like Coil isn't easy. Because doing all the things she ends up doing down the line is far, far from simple.
I mean, I've read AUs where things get wrapped up easier, in very different contexts, and though I often enjoy them, sometimes they do feel like it's all... a little too easy? Just a bit?
Not always, not every time, but like, the Wormverse does run on 'it gets worse' and 'people constantly making bad decisions', so on the one hand a fic where neither of those narrative principles holds quite as strong a grip, it makes sense that these problems might be more easily solved.
On the other, it kind of cheapens the canon narrative and the hard choices the characters make, if the problems really could be solved that easily, you know? It's like in Buffy fics where the Scoobies somehow defeat and utterly destroy Wolfram and Hart with a plan so stupid they clearly rented it from the ACME corporation. Because that makes sense.
(Well, I say fics as if there's more than one fic that did this that I know of. Just the one, and I'm still fucking salty about it. *grumble*)
Anyway, circling back on topic - the point is, as much as I want to yell at and shake Taylor for this choice, for not turning in what she knows, I can't blame her because A) I get why she picks her friends over anything else (maybe if the transfer to Arcadia was going through, or if the School actually punished the Trio she might have held out some hope for normality) and B) Honestly, this probably is the path to actually stopping Coil, given what's available to her at this point.
She doesn't know it's B, not yet, but I'm pretty sure.
I do wonder what the live slug reaction to this was though, by the fandom. Were there people who dropped the work believing the prospects of Hero Taylor were now gone? Were people still hoping for Taylor to pick Hero path down the line by now?
Did the tantalizing promise of what Coil represented, narratively, keep people in, and going?
Certainly would have me, I think. But I'm not, and never can, reading this blind, so... who knows.

Happy Wednesday amazing fandom :) Another good one where Tim is naturally the supportive husband. We get to delve into Lucy’s past a bit more. Find out more about why we dislike her mother LOL My rage for her is reignited. Lets get going though.
4x14 Long Shot
Tumblr media
We join Lucy in the kitchen pouring over forms and getting frustrated. Tamara sits down next to her asking what’s she’s doing? Lucy explains it’s the forms for her egg extraction. Except it’s a little more intense than she expected. They are wanting to know tons of family history dating back to her great-great grandfather. Tamara says it’s probably just to harvest the best eggs. Lucy tells her it’s hard to answer these when she doesn’t know her real dad.
Tamara is surprised she doesn’t know this about her. Lucy is being surprisingly calm about the whole thing. Saying her dad was her dad. Since he was the man that raised her. Her mom only told her that her real dad wasn’t ready to be a dad. (Only part of it lying liar…)Tamara starts going off on what she could pass on to her kids. Lucy giving her a serious mom look. Haha I love them.
She tells her she’s taking reproductive bio at school. Lucy starts to look a little overwhelmed than she was before. Just replying with an ‘Mmhmm…’ Tamaras comments about her dad starting to sink in more. Wondering if she should be more bothered she doesn't know her real dad? That maybe she should pursue that but isn't sure.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We start our lovely ship out on a call. Lucy asking Tim if he thinks it’s weird she hasn’t tried to find her bio dad? First off I love him already knowing this already. Tim is clearly already clued into this fact. It’s not something she’s bringing up for the first time. Completely normal 'partner' stuff for him to know automatically. Second just having personal convos every day now I love it. Tim is soft at first telling her she doesn’t owe the guy anything. I mean she really doesn't from a logical standpoint.
Then Tim is a little more blunt in his second comment LOL Lucy is exasperated with him and I’m laughing. He’s trying to make a joke to lighten the mood. Doesn’t go over well but 'A 'for effort Tim haha It's his way of being supportive but trying to keep her head in the game. Since they are approaching a crime scene and all that.
They have a mini married moment as they walk up. Lucy makes a comment about she doesn’t know why she bothers talking to him about personal stuff. In response to his millimeter reply. Tim smiles and replies ‘Mission accomplished,’ Lucy looking at him with fond exasperation. Because that’s the level we’re at now. Exasperated with each other per usual but also still very fond.
Tumblr media
This next part is so funny. They ask Bailey if they have a suspect? She says no... but she has a good idea whoever torched guys car is a woman. Ha. It’s easy to see why someone would after talking to this guy for two seconds. The arrogance is insane.
When he asks for Lucy’s number LMFAO I’m dying. Tim’s face and his ‘I’m out’ demeanor is too damn funny. He knows Lucy can handle herself and will put this man in his place if needed. So he walks away lets her handle it. Eric kills me with the facial expressions. Lucy’s face is also is super funny. She’s so annoyed but pulls out her pad anyway. Bracing herself to deal with this turd. Her face screaming 'Thanks Tim....'
Tumblr media
They respond to a second call. A lady saying a crazy woman came in and released rats. She had an animal carrier and let them out during her breakfast rush. Tim asks her to describe the suspect. She lists the same thing the arson victim did. They put two and two together pretty quickly. They’re the same person. Apparently she used to work for this woman. They get a name in the process. Jordan Conner. Lucy is so cute getting distracted by the rat noise. I love her so much. After Lucy resets herself asks her if she has her address at all?
Tumblr media
They make it to her apt and see a man rinsing his eyes out. Tim asking if he’s ok? Man is surly af with Tim. Saying does it look like he’s ok? Easy fella lol Tells them his tenant Jordan Conner pepper sprayed him. Letting them know she was three months behind on rent. Complaining she had special circumstances for being behind.
Tim gives him his card and tells him to call if she returns. I love when they’re walking away how close they are. Zero space between them as they exit. Tim brushing against Lucy as they talk about their next move with this woman. I see you guys. Don't think I don’t haha Tim says they’ll have to get a warrant for her phone. So they can stop her before her crime spree escalates any further.
Tumblr media
The warrant leads them straight to her. They find Jordan sitting on her car in the hills. She seems resigned as hell. Like she was waiting for them to come find her. They approach her slowly and tell her all the people they’ve met with today. Her ex, her former boss and her landlord. Tim calling it a pretty epic revenge tour. She calls it her hit list. Lucy asks if she wants to talk about it? She sighs and says people suck. That they do…Tim agreeing saying ‘Yeah. Amen to that.' HA Also once again lets note the lack of space above. Mix this in with a tall/smol shot my heart is happy.
Tumblr media
Lucy probes a little deeper. Saying she must’ve had a reason? Jordan opens up and tells them she has the breast cancer gene. It came from her mom and she had been waiting for it. So when she found a lump she wasn’t even surprised. Been waiting her whole life for it. She thought she was going to die. Then last week she went into remission. Tim tells her congrats. She doesn’t thank him. Just replies she was done apologizing for existing. Thus her hit list. Saying she wanted to make her own karma. That everything she did was worth it to her.
I can't say I blame her for being so angry. It does seem like the shitty people of the world get away with murder. If you're good, do your job, do right by people you still get screwed by life. I can't say I don't relate to her. Her BF bailed on her when she was sick. Saying he didn’t do bald chicks. That dude needs to have his penis revoked IMO. What an asshole. Her boss fired her for being late from chemo and her landlord raised her rent when she was too sick to work. That’s a lot. Lucy and Tim empathize but sadly have to still arrest her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As Tim puts Jordan in the car we can see Lucy deep in her own thoughts. Tim mentioning how most people when they get second chance wanna be better. Saying 'Got to respect her for going the other way. 'Jordan's comment about making our own karma has struck a chord with Lucy. Voicing how she just waited around to get sick like her mom. You can she is conflicted. Asking Tim is it better to know or not? Does it do us any good to know? Truly needing his guidance on this one by asking these questions.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lucy looks so shaken by the whole situation. I adore him knowing exactly where she’s at in this moment. No need to explain it. Knows what she is talking about without context. I love him tilting his head when he asks above if its about her bio dad? It's so cute. Being the supportive husband she needs. Giving her that last push to confront her mom. Especially if it’s going to eat at her like this. Lucy mentions she’ll go to her aunt Amy instead. Her mother would never tell her ha.
Tumblr media
We get to meet Aunt Amy shortly after. Lucy tells her how she was given the egg appt. Explaining to her aunt how pissed she was about it at first. Amy relaying she tried to stop her from doing it. But she clearly didn’t listen to her. Lucy continues on that she decided to explore it. The forms are what’s slowing her down. She doesn’t know anything about her father’s side. We can see her aunt struggle with her telling her the truth.
Not wanting to betray her sister’s trust. I can empathize with that. We find out her mom. Her perfect strict pain in the ass mother slept with a patient. Not only that but that patient is her biological father. She hid it to protect her career and to push away the shame. Suddenly everything is coming into focus. Not surprising her lineage is tied to her mother’s selfishness. Poor Lucy is floored by this info. I know I was when I first watched it. Unreal.
Tumblr media
Once they’re back in the shop Tim’s Lucy radar is going off. He looks over at her and see’s how distraught she is. Once again just like in 4x11 asking if she’s ok? This man is so soft for her at this point. Can’t stand her hurting. So he opens up the floor for her to talk. Knowing she is not doing ok. It’s his way of saying if you need to talk let’s talk I’m here to listen. Never be over how he has grown in this way. Seeing her hurting and wanting to help.
Having her hash it out with him. Because he knows it’ll make her feel better. This man ❤️ Sure loves his girl. Melissa crushes this scene. The emotions behind her voice kill me. She is on the verge of crying and Tim knows it. Look at her above she is so emotional she's not even sure where to start. She has a million and one emotions surging through her and it shows. With how she starts to try and talk then stops. Struggling to find the words to convey how she is feeling.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I can relate to this so much. Being so deeply emotional about your parents. Not even knowing where to begin. Only that you are so deeply hurt. Lucy takes another beat before beginning. Expressing how her mother has made her feel her whole life. It’s the worst when nothing you do is good enough. You strive to impress and always come up short. It’s hard not to get a complex about it. I mean I still struggle with my parents thinking I’m their f*ck up child. They’ve never said it but their actions scream it.
Lucy continues on about how her grades, BF’s, career never been good enough for her. Then she finds out her mom made the biggest transgression she could as a therapist. That ever since then she’s been trying to make up for that sin. By riding Lucy into the ground to make up for her mistake she made early in life. In her twisted mind if Lucy came out the way she wanted her to it would erase that shame.
So messed up on very many levels. We watch Tim nod along and let her know he's listening. To give her the opportunity get everything off her chest. You can see the worry in his eyes in the second gif. The way he looks over at her with such empathy in his eyes. Hating how much she is hurting in this moment.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tim tries to do devil’s advocate. Giving her some logic but it doesn’t land. It never does with her mother. At least not at first. Lucy then voices the thing I’m sure she’s thought her whole life. That’s her mother resents her because she represents the one time she made a mistake. Tim tries to deter this but she cuts him off. (I will never be over how he uses her first name in this season. Something so damn intimate about it.)
Makes me wonder what he was going to say? There was some serious emotion behind his ‘ Lucy it’s..’ We’ll never know cause her aunt texted her what her father’s name is. This is where Tim tries to make her laugh. He’s doing such a solid job being the supportive husband. This tops it off IMO. He can always make her laugh and smile when she is stressed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Knowing if he makes her laugh it’ll relieve that tension in her body a bit. Making a silly joke about her dad’s name. Saying least it’s not stupid like Dilbert LOL Distracting Lucy from her hurt for a moment with his silly joke. You know he’s proud of himself for getting her to smile in this moment. All he ever wants now in these kind of moments is to make her feel better. Mission accomplished Tim.
You made your girl feel better. Knowing she was on the verge of tears and taking a beat to make her smile. That’s love. 4x12 was about Tim being a control freak. How he doesn’t like to go outside his comfort zone ever. Then we see him do stuff like this. Things he wouldn’t have done pre-Lucy. Making jokes, reaching out to make sure she’s ok, if she’s not he is making it his mission to make her feel better. Gah I love this man so much and his journey. My damn heart.
Tim Bradford can go outside his comfort zone. The question is are you worth it to him to do so? Lucy has earned this out of him ten fold. This season is the fruit of all they’ve built the previous 3 seasons. It’s so glorious to watch the result of it. Said this before but moments like this are what make their slow burn so worth it. Look at how comfortable they are with one another. Lucy spiraling he lets her get it out then reels her back in with a joke. These two I cannot with how much I love them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We end the episode how we started it with Tamara and Lucy. They’re stalking her potential father on social media. Tamara is so cute having a list of candidates ready for her. Lucy gets a phone call that interrupts their search. She gets the news that he’s dead. It’s so sad to watch her take this news in. Tamara trying to console her best she can about it. Saying yeah she didn’t know him but if not for him she wouldn’t be here. That it's ok to be sad about it.
Breaks my heart how she thought someday they’d meet. Somehow. That she had this idea of him that lingered in her mind. Tamara says she hates to ask. But was it genetic how he died? Lucy answers it was a car crash. He died alone. No kids, wife, nothing. You see the guilt crash over about this fact. I love Tamara doing what Tim would. Not letting her drown and pulling her back to shore emotionally. Refusing to let her beat herself up over it. Her makeshift family taking care of her this ep I love it.

Wiggly-Worm Wednesday!! 🧠🪱
speeding through this before Wednesday ends (the deadline is both extremely malleable and entirely self-enforced and also time isn't real)
tagged by the lovely @hbyrde36 thank you!!
Today the worms are Connected they're connecting dots and doing a great job at it!
my non-fic worm is kinda branching off the first 1k i wrote for stwg's fic exchange, which then hopped skipped and jumped over into its own idea and now I'm enjoying my down time imagining the shenanigans of Robin sneaking Steve over post s4, like living in her bedroom hiding in the closet shenanigans cause his parents aren't back and the hospital had to discharge him to help other patients and she can't just leave him home alone that's a recipe for disaster so really she basically had no choice but to sneak him in through her ground-floor window with a duffel bag under her bed and steal a couple of her dads button down shirts because Steve's a dingus and didn't bring any even though any pullover is a pain in the back-and-tricep-roadrash right now.
so of course robins parents find out because stashing away a whole ass adult man in a bedroom for more than a day or so is actually pretty difficult even when he's not gravely injured. in my head they're pretty understanding after they get to cool down a bit, its not like steve was never around before and he'd always been polite, plus even if they still did think stobin were secretly dating, they're clearly not doing anything and the only reason Robin didn't just ask was because she wasn't going to take no for an answer.
And then on the actual wips front i had the brilliant why-didnt-i-think-of-this-sooner idea to pick a wip to work on based on what i was brainworming just for fun, which led me to my actual stobin wip and within like 20 minutes i had a couple epiphanies about the connective themes im exploring like realizing what i was putting together without realizing. (cut because oh god this got long fast)
Its ended up being a lot about gender, the imaginary wall between girls and guys in a friendship sense that feels solid just because you haven't had the proof that its not really there yet, the heteronormativity and amatonormativity driving a wedge between possible friendships. in this fic, robins really apprehensive about forming any kind of connection with steve because she's had the experience of guys only being interested in dating that she has a lot of mistrust around and m/f friendships that start forming (and ofc it ends with post starcourt platonic with a capital P soulmateisms 💕). i also have this little struggle where like if i can name multiple important theme-y words i fear ive got too many going on, so i was afraid this whole loneliness thing I've got for robin was going to conflict with the gender thing but i think ive got it sorted, they're different levels and their connected ideas, robins escape from loneliness means she has to break through her internal gender wall and let it be broken, plus the loneliness is going to be more explicit in the text because robins like fully aware of it while the gender stuff is probably going to stay mostly subtext and be much broader, popping up in steves pov area too and really all around them.
also had no clue how relevant it would be but steve and robin are like perfectly balanced blurred gender lines like steve is a masculine dude comfortable in his masculinity that also has a healthy relationship with his feminine trait, the hair stuff the babysitter/mom friend thing, he's not ashamed of any of it (and actually i had a longer post on Steve's gender balance somewhere in my drafts but we don't have time rn) and then robins like practically the same in her expression of femininity, she's as far as we see comfortably a girl, wears makeup, loved that movie about doomed love, she's got her feminine traits but also likes dabbling in masculine traits, she dresses more masc (tho its still a solid middle ground, comfort is a big focus), she likes ufos and creepy stuff and jokes about spider babies in hair. idk it just felt like they're a matching set as far as gender goes, if they did combine into one being they'd be bigender 100%
anyway uhhh this got long thank you for sticking around fyjdtjdgjdyj

Hey remember how I said I thought it'd be kinda interesting to have a future (future future?) where Cham and Querl are in charge of the Legion?
________________________
Cham wraps one too long arm around his back, leaning so heavily against him one wrong footfall might send him tumbling to the ground. He’s currently more than a full head shorter than Querl, but it seems to do little to deter him.
"Come on, it'll be grand," he says, squeezing Querl’s arm. "I still own the lot, we'll fix it up and then we'll… we'll arrange a try out!" Cham extends his leg to step over a dark puddle, body contouring cartoonishly to follow suit.
"Why should I want to participate in this scheme of yours? We both know the outcome—the danger associated with it. Do you want to be responsible for putting another group of children through what we had to endure?" Querl tries to wriggle out of the Durlan’s grip, to little success, passing through a crowd as oblivious to their struggle as to the conversation they’re having.
"Bah! We never saw it like that back then. Brain-"
"Don't." He jabs his elbow into the facsimile of Cham's ribs.
"-Querl. Did you ever even care? 'Cause I remember you not caring a whole lot at all as long as you got to do your science stuff, blow up a few labs and flirt around a little." Cham grins and Querl can only roll his eyes in response.
"A gross misrepresentation of events, on both counts," he retorts.
"Come on now, don’t be so sour, you know what I mean. It'll be great fun, it'll mean a lot to the galaxy."
"Or it'll be rased to the ground on a whim again because the UP decides it's superfluous." Cham pats his arm, though he’s not sure if it’s meant to be a mocking or comforting gesture.
"Nah, we'll do it differently this time around, make sure it's not too dependent on the UP. My accountants have crunched the numbers and it'll be no issue at all as long as people keep travelling. We’ll fund the entire thing."
"That's a mercenary corps, genius."
"Only if people don't think otherwise! And isn't that your family business anyway?"
"It most definitely is not. And this is a dreadful idea, Daggle."
"Grief, you worry too much. It'll be a grand time."
He's not sure how—or why—they end up in Cham's condo. One minute they're walking down the crowded streets of Metropolis, the next they're in an ornate, neo-modern elevator ascending to an apartment so far above the ground it's hard to see anything but clouds, their feet sinking deep into the thick, crimson carpet. Another moment, and he's seated in a ridiculously large armchair, bottle in hand. The room is lavishly furnished, all rounded post-war curves in bright, expensive colours and furniture so opulent it makes even him feel small. He takes a long drink from the bottle, the liquid stinging as it runs down his throat. He never did get used to Terran alcohol.
"It seems rather derivative to return to the Legion after all this time, does it not?" he eventually says, absentmindedly brushing a stray lock of white-streaked hair out of his face.
"You know what the Terrans say, don't you?" Cham asks from where he’s sitting on the couch across from him, one arm splayed over the back and legs crossed neatly at the ankles. Somehow, despite everything, it reminds him of sitting across from his father. If not in shape, then in the sense of carefreeness he seems to radiate these days.
"Terrans say a great many things."
"The charm's in the third try, they say." Cham points his own bottle at him, hands a little hazy, like the concept of fingers has started to elude him. "That's why it'll work."
"Third?" Querl says, raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah, well, you see, I finally went through all of dad's old records, and I found the remains of a... Diary? Just a few loose leaves, on real paper, that sentimental old fool. They were ancient, but he talked about a first Legion in there. And you know what else?"
Querl takes another slow, deliberate swig from the bottle, looking at Cham with half-lidded eyes. He has chosen to not change a lot, his social form only looking slightly older than it did so many years ago, but he moves slower, more intently. Yet he still talks too much, as if the universe might run out of words one day.
"Come on," he urges.
"Fine. What, Cham?"
"He writes about a Vril Dox." Oh. Querl blinks.
"I see. That Legion." Querl rotates the bottle, intently watching the amber liquid splash back and forth, his mind racing. "That doesn't make sense though, my great-grandfather was dead by the end of the 21st century. Your father was admittedly a strange figure, but he couldn't have been nearly that old. He frequently spoke of making his fortune in the late twentieth millenia, did he not?"
"Beats me. Maybe he was just a really hardcore fan. Old man always did have a penchant for strange folks. Nevertheless, that's your first Legion."
"So that's why I'm here?" Cham chuckles.
"Every other reason, old friend. I need someone with their head on damn straight to launch this and from what I've heard you might need a bit of a new direction. Your lineage couldn't matter less." Cham drains his bottle, disposing of it on the large wooden table between them. Real wood, by the looks of it. "Besides, there aren't many other options, are there?"
Almost without thinking Querl’s hand raises to the thin chain around his neck, touching it in lieu of the ring that hangs slightly below his collarbone, covered by his thick pullover. No, there aren't that many options, he thinks. Not anymore.
"That’s supposing we can even undertake a task like this without them," he says, surprised by how low his voice comes out. Cham scotches forward in his seat and rests his elbows on his knees.
"That is up in the air, but that’s why I say we give it a try. For them, if nothing else."
"It seems grossly presumptive to assume that they'd all approve of this. I'd wager at least a few of them would rather children remain safely at home. Which they will not, should we fail. And, in a likelihood, should we succeed.”
"And most of them knew that there are children like us out there, who won’t stay safe no matter how much old men don’t meddle in their lives."
"So, start a day centre for lost would-be superheros, then."
"I seem to recall your husband complaining endlessly about all the sneaking out the academy kids did, so we both know how that'd work out in the end."
"... That he did." Querl lowers his head. The venture is reckless, idiotic even. But were they not all idiots, once.
"Another one?" Cham says, motioning to his mostly empty bottle.
"That would seem unwise."
"Well, it's not like we're being wise tonight." Before Querl has time to protest, Cham swoops out of the room, leaving him alone in that oversized armchair, head spinning. He pulls the ring out of its resting place, holding it up between his fingers to study. As if he doesn't have it fully committed to memory. It's a simple gold band, a little dented and dulled, the inside still worn to a shine. These days it's noticeably thicker than its twin.
Would he have approved, had it had been him sitting here? Probably. He never stopped looking for danger, for things he shouldn’t but could involve himself in. For wrongs that needed rightening. Impulsive and reckless and braver than anyone could have asked him to be.
Eventually Cham returns, handing him a new bottle without another word. Querl’s own ring clinks against it, the chill of the bottle leaving it just as cool even from that brief of a touch. He tucks the necklace back into place with his free hand and if Cham sees it he’s mercifully silent about it.
"Fine," Querl eventually says, when the silence has stretched out into an ocean. "I'll advise you as best as I can. But I'm not getting into any physical altercations."
"I wouldn't dare ask for that much." Cham leans across the table and seemingly without any tool in hand pops the cap off his bottle, leaning in so close Querl can smell the bite of alcohol on him. It's a terrible idea, he thinks. But what has he got to lose. “But remember that my office door is always open, especially when my more stature-challenged suppliers drop by.”
As he leans back Cham raises his own bottle into the air, grinning.
"To the third Legion," he says.
"To a third Legion," Querl replies.
