I’d like to remind the TMNT fandom that the multiverse is a thing in the TMNT series - looking at you, 2003 - so, what about where after the movie and Mikey created that portal between dimensions to save Leo, there’s a weakness in the realms, tears forming in the turtles’ dimension that are small enough to not really worry about anyone falling in, but it’s what comes out that is the problem.

Because what comes out is a green puppy that can walk through walls, turn invisible, grow into a large hellhound-looking dog, and likes to leave everybody he licks in green slime-like goo. At least he’s taken a liking to Leo! Makes it easier to coral the little dog in the meantime until the Hamato clan has some idea of what to do with him.

On the flip side of things, Ghost King Danny really wants to know where Cujo got to since he hadn’t seen the ghost dog for a while and is starting to worry. Especially when he can sense new rips in the Infinite Realms that lead to somewhere he hasn’t explored yet.

Imagine Danny helping the batfamily out and such (Damian might have a small crush on him), and Cujo shows up. He’s attacking some group of villains and destroying their base in the search of Danny, and upon seeing him, Danny gasps and calls for the giant green ghost dog. The ghost dog turns to him, and upon realizing Danny’s there, he drops everything and runs over to shower his favorite Halfa with doggo love. The entire thing turns into a reunion.

Damian: A giant green dog? Not the worst thing I’ve faced.

Danny: *gasps* Cujo!!!

Cujo: ! *drops [insert villain of your choice]*

Danny: *has starry eyes and opens his arms* Come here!! Come here, boy!!!

Cujo: *runs over and starts loosing his mind because FAVORITE PERSON!*

Damian: ....Are you okay?

Danny: *gives him a thumbs up under, like, a literal ton of ghost doggy love*

The last thing Satoru expected to smell coming through the front door of his home was a mixture of cinnamon and cherries. He shrugged off the jacket from his shoulders and curiously stepped further into his home. Upon seeing the kitchen table and every counter, his eyes went wide and mouth fell open.

On the kitchen table was at least four boxes of pizza, chicken wings, fried chicken, and brisket. Towards the end of the table farther fell the front door were sides, like green bean casserole and corn. His mouth began to water, his inner food junkie rearing it’s hungry head.

Across the counters and clearly in the oven were desserts, desserts, and more desserts — apple and cherry pie, cheesecake, fruit kebabs, crepes, mochi, brownies, kikufuku from Sendai. Gosh, what was the occasion?

And then the man sees above the hallway entrance that leads to the other rooms: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Satoru gapes.

Was it really December 7th?

He checks his phone and his brows raise in surprise. How in the world did he forget?

But you didn’t. You would’ve been the only one available to have made such a feast for him (even if it was mostly sweets), since everyone else was out on missions, still trying to tidy up Japan after the Culling Games’ toll.

He feels his heart swell with love and happiness, happy that you’ve remembered a date that he’s thrown to the side for so many years. He’s happy that you’ve done so much here for him, a genuine showcase of how much you really loved him and knew him by cooking all of his favorites. This must’ve taken you hours and hours to do; this being a clear proclamation of how much you’ve dedicated yourself to him and to knowing him.

“Babe?” he calls out to open air. No response. He’s smart by checking the kitchen first; you’d never leave cooking food unattended.

Satoru’s mouth quirks up into a sweet smile at the sight of passed out, sitting on the kitchen floor with your inseparable corgi Maple snoozing away right next to you. Although he squints at the sight of your neck lolled to the side in the corner of the cabinets. That didn’t look comfortable at all.

He’s not sure if he should take you to bed or wake you up right now. After a moment, he decides the former. But as soon as you’re scooped up and secured against his broad chest, your eyes flutter open. Maple wakes up too, barking and wiggling her butt, happy to see her dad.

“Oh, my god. Satoru!”

He winks. “The one and only baby.”

Your brain has always been fast about remembering all of the events prior to any sort of sleep or nap you’ve had. This time was no different, and he chuckles when you begin to groan and complain about your surprise being ruined.

“God, I can’t believe I fell asleep! How does one even sleep on the kitchen floor. My ass hurts, Jesus,” you complain. You burrow your head into the crook of his neck in embarrassment as he carries you to the couch and sits down with you on his lap. Maple bounds up behind him and miraculously uses her little legs to hop up on the couch. Satoru chuckles and takes a moment to briefly give her belly rubs.

“Thank you for trying to make this day special for me,” your ‘Toru says. It’s sweet, the tone of his voice, filled with love and adoration. “Don’t feel bad. That looks like a lot of cooking you did, so it’s only natural you’d fall asleep at some point. So don’t beat yourself up over it, okay?”

You grumble but nod anyway. It was true. You’d been awake ever since he’d left earlier this morning, putting the pedal to the floor on your attempt to swamp the love of your life with all of his favorite foods made by hand.

“I love you, Satoru,” you mumble, still tired and sleepy from overextending yourself.

“I love you, too, baby.” His lips press a long kiss to the side of your temple. He pulls away to gaze down into your eyes, chuckles escaping him again at seeing the sleepy haze in them. “Thank you for trying to make my special day special.”

“But I still didn’t get to surprise you,” you complain.

“I wasn’t expecting it when I came home, especially now with everything going on. I think that’s a big enough surprise for me,” he argues. “So come on, cheer up! We have some delicious delicious food to eat made by my sweet, adorable, wonderful wifey-poo! Except the pizza of course!”

You deadpan. “Call me that again and I’ll smash the strawberry shortcake I made as your birthday cake in that expensive jacket you bought last week.”

Satoru gasps dramatically in horror.

“You wouldn’t!”

“Try me.”

“Not if I eat it first!”

TERRIBLE AT COMMUNICATING. We all know Keith is stubborn and easily overwhelmed with a short temper. He doesn’t really know how to talk to people without getting angry. He feels that bc he has a hard time explaining exactly what he means, people never understand him and that makes him mad.

Bro isn’t scared of anything…and that low key scares everyone else. Like…who isn’t afraid of anything? The whole team has tried sooooo hard to figure out what will get Keith to jump out of his skin and scream like a child but to no avail… Boy just doesn’t flinch, doesn’t care, couldn’t care less about bugs and rodents and clowns and heights or anything like that.

Obvi his biggest red flag is how flirty he is. Boy will flirt with anything that breaths and that can get really annoying sometimes and affect the rest of the team.

Jealous AS FUCK. Like the petty jealous type. Lance is the kind of guy to pretend he has a partner back home just bc some alien girl he was flirting with said she had a partner already. He’s like “OH YEAH? Wow cool me too, same same, yeah….” But homie’s ego is a bit sore now…

Lies a lot. Lance just panics sometimes and tells a lie. He knows it’s wrong and he always feels guilty after lying to someone but it always just slips out. His mouth moves faster than his brain most the time.

THE BEST HUGGER/CUDDLER OMFGGGGGG. Lance is the best hugger and cuddle buddy ever, period, end of story, try to change my mind. His long arms always stretch fully around the recipient’s torso and he squeezes tight enough to make you feel warm but not smothered. Usually will rest his chin on the other person’s head if they’re short enough (so Pidge obvi).

Very aware of other’s moods/body language/tone of voice. Everyone thinks Lance is “the dumb one” but he’s actually very in tune with what’s going on in the moment, what’s going on around him. I think he can tell how others feel the second he sees them. Good intuition kinda thing. An empath for sure.

Very considerate and often remembers the little things about people. Does he remember what he learned in class just a couple days ago? Pffft heck no! Does he remember everyone’s birthday, every year and get them a very thoughtful gift? HELL YEAHH I LOVE THIS SWEET BOY OMFG 🩵

Deku / Izuku Midoriya:

Extremely supportive and respectful when he figures out about your dog - No matter what, he still looks at you like he does every day. He finds you unique, especially after he learns about your diagnosis.

He makes sure to help you get ready in the mornings, especially if you two (or three) are going to be somewhere in public. He always helps you pick out their collar. Before leaving, he always kisses your head and promises to see you later; reminding you to keep your phone recording in case of incidents.

If you’re in public and you have an episode, Izuku is quite frantic the first time. But, he’s learned to stay beside you and let your buddy do their work, leaving to get you a water bottle and covering your body with his jacket in case paparazzi comes around.

Almost becomes a different person in public with you. From your confession and his chances of meeting people in non-friendly animal places, he knows how selfish and idiotic people can be. With this said, Deku gets more protective of you and the dog; not letting anyone touch or distract your dog. Out of the rest of the guys, he’s nicer in reminding people. But rather still blunt and can come off as passive-aggressive.

Spoils the dog like the one of the Kardashians when they’re ‘off duty’. Only buys the best treats, and looks on Amazon for hours for the perfect sweaters and collars that match yours and his outfits. He may have stolen your dogs on a few instances, cuddling their body as he babies them with more treats.

Izuku is the guy who suggests dying your dog’s fur in colorful shades. Whether it’s holiday themes, bright but unique patterns, or simply your favorite color; Deku is more than happy to help you dye them, giving them peanut-butter biscuits afterward.

Dynamight / Katsuki Bakugou:

At first, Katski was rather distant and nonchalant toward your dog. He didn’t know how to react. But now, he loves the dog as much as he loves you. He’s proud of them and more comfortable with an individual who’s capable of taking care of you, and keeping you company, especially in rare occurrences, when you go out into public without him.

He’s incredibly cautious near the dog. Bakugou always makes sure to never bother or get in your way while you two are in the same room. At times, he acts as if the dog has the plague.

On times he’s away and on hero duty, whenever the two of you call, he makes sure to ask how the dog is and makes sure they’re treating you right; promising to bring treats home. And that he does! Brings a whole box full of goodies just for your 1st greatest hero.

While Katsuki may seem detached from the dog, he loves the dog incredibly much. The minute he gets home and gets an okay from you to start cuddling with them, Katsuki rubs their ears and kisses their snout as he praises them for doing a good job; it’s darn cute watching the both of them sleep on the couch after a hard day at work.

If you’re into safely dying your dog colors, he may suggest drawing a skull on their back or doing his colors (black, orange, and green). As cliché, as it sounds, he thinks it’s cute. Nevertheless, he’s more than happy to help you dye the doggo’s fur if you’re fine with it.

Whenever the two of you are out in public and he sees a fake service dog, he’s more prominent to yell out that it’s bullshit and that they shouldn’t be there. With his broad voice and high structure, high chance whoever the dipshit is, they scurry off in fear. And if someone decides to challenge his patience by petting the dog? All hell is loose and he gets really scary - which, is not a pretty sight from the obnoxious-explosive hero.

On rare occurrences, Katsuki does get jealous of the dog. But, with him being slightly more mature, he just gets over it and demands cuddles the minute he gets home - staring down your dog as if they ate his shoe. But don’t worry, he means well.

Red Riot / Ejiro Kirishima:

Pretty calm considering how nervous and worrisome he is with you. Whether the dog is there for physical or emotional needs (or both!), Kirishima worries like a mother hen; he always fears you will hurt yourself, even if he trusts the dog 100%.

Watching your dog do tasks is remarkable to him. Whatever they do, whether that’s doing crowd control, holding the groceries (or items), doing specific alerts, or simply doing their everyday deep pressure therapy, he’s always looking at them with an awed look and tends to tell you how great of a dog they are.

Is ready to throw slurs whenever people come up to you or simply try to pet the dog. Like the fuck? The vest has big bold letters - don’t touch the dog, dumbass. Rarely does Kirisima get angry, especially in the public eye, but when he does, it’s quite mean and harsh. He doesn’t understand people and their unnecessary ways.

Having disabilities is rough, especially after having a flare-up or an episode. With this said, Ejiro will try to never let you or your service animal get separated. He always makes sure to place trackers on the both of you, as he can see if you two need help and so on.

The first time he sees you have an episode, whether that’s PTSD, SIB, or a disability flair-up — he immediately starts to freak. But, with growing and realizing that he doesn't need to help at the moment, he’s learned to get you a water bottle, comfort you or the dog when needed, and wait for you to calm down/or get to a point where you two can talk it out and leave safely.

On Halloween, expect Kirishima to be the dog dad where he will beg you to let him dress them up, specifically safely dye their fur to look like him or a cute fireman

Hawks / Keigo Takami:

He’s pretty excited to meet the dog but respectful of the whole ordeal. He asks multiple questions about surrounding the dog – such as what it’s trained for and what he can do to help not distract your dog from working.

As he’s a trained hero, he’s seen service dogs before. For this reason, he never looks down on you or the dog for needing help; he finds the dog amazing at what it’s doing. Keigo always reminds you daily that you’re amazing and nobody should give you crap for that. You just need extra steps with help and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Being a handler is tough. He’s seen it, especially with the way you come home all mad with your experiences. Keigo is always there for you to rant, wrapping his wings around you and letting the pup affectionately cuddle you.

Gets a new type of anger when he realizes how stupid people can be. Whenever he goes with you, Hawks makes sure nobody – including kids – touches you or the dog. While his smile is always charming, his hands and eyes are always showing his hateful and annoyed emotions. At times, it’s terrifying.

With episodes, they’re random. And when they do happen, Hawks will let you rest and do what your dog is trained to do - let him have the time to run down to the nearest 7/11 to get your comfort drink and snack. And if this happens in public, he makes sure to stay in front of you; covering you with his wings in case photos are taken.

While I believe Hawks isn’t much of a dog person, he’ll still love on your doggo like he loves on you. At times, he’ll come home from work with extra toys, treats, and colorful

Nope. I mean, I guess I kinda shake the blanket/sheet to spread it out but my doggo likes to burrow and that means all effort is futile.

Multiples of 5 make me happy. Any number ending with 5 or 0. Also even numbers to a lesser degree.

What is your job?

I am a parapro aka paraprofessional aka education support professional aka a one to one! I work with students with significant disabilities in order to help them attend, function and learn in a public school! I currently work in a K-3 room and was moved there specifically as a behavior support for the third grader who loves me. I love my job, I adore it, I also wanna throw the teacher and both damn BCBAs out a window.

If you could go back to school, would you?

Honestly? No. I love to learn but homework is basically where my executive function goes to die. As much as I like the idea of going back the reality would fuck me up something good.

Can you parallel park?

I can't drive so no.

A job you had that would surprise people?

I work at a zoo for over a decade in the children's zoo? Not actually shocking but at least a little odd. No, I wasn't a zookeeper.

Author's notes: A modern take on Thorin and Yrsa's relationship. Since @sweetestgbye gave me a free hand with picking a Sweet and Spicy Bingo prompt, I chose "soulmates".

✨Soulmates✨

“Are you crazy, Thorin? I’m not getting up there!” Yrsa huffed and stomped her foot. And stomping her feet while wearing those new ruby-red high heels was a very difficult thing to do. But she was on a date with the hottest guy at the uni, a.k.a. Thorin Thrainsson, a.k.a. her boyfriend, and she just had to look her best. Especially since today he wore his hair (his amazing hair!) loose and he smiled at her with that soft little smile of his that softened his features, and looked at her with his dreamy blue eyes… making her knees unusually weak. But she was sure the cider they had just been drinking was at least partially to blame. She took another sip and stole a glance at the huge Ferris wheel, the newest–and biggest–attraction of the local amusement park. No, she was most certainly not getting up into that monstrosity, even though everyone in her home town kept on talking about how great it was. For a whole week Yrsa tried to ignore all the Instagram pictures or TikToks everyone kept on posting: “Look, this is me on the Ferris wheel!” “This is me and my bae kissing on the Ferris wheel!” “My doggo takes a ride with me on the Ferris wheel!” “Cute baby’s first time on the Ferris wheel!” “Mikey gets sick again on the Ferris wheel!”

Somehow, Yrsa did not think it was great at all.

“I got us tickets for the midnight ride, see?” Thorin took out four green tokens from the pocket of his leather jacket and purred seductively. “We’ll have the whole pod only for us. It's a full moon tonight, just think how romantic it will be: you, me, the moonlight in your fiery hair…”

“Thorin Thrainsson, I know exactly what you’re doing and sweet-talking me won’t work!” Yrsa poked her finger into his chest (very hard chest, she might add, and a very enjoyable one too, especially when not covered with that black rock band t-shirt he was currently wearing. She was referring, of course, to how well-defined his muscles were. She needed to see his bare chest often. For science. She needed to pass her anatomy exams somehow, right?), “I refuse to become one of the slaves of the consumerist society and go on this ride to hell! Besides, we can do so many other things, like go for a walk in the park…”

“At midnight? I thought you didn’t like that cemetery nearby,” Thorin furrowed his brow.

“Well… true, but still… We have options! Lots and lots of them! And all of them are on the ground!”

“Yrsa,” Thorin murmured, his half-lidded eyes cast a smouldering glance at her. “I know you’re not a fan of heights, but I’ll be with you all the time, holding your hand, just like I do now. You will be fine. I promise.”

Yrsa looked at their joined hands and then back at Thorin’s face. Very handsome face. And that wavy hair of his, dark as the night around them. And the way his lips moved… and she knew what these lips were capable of doing when they were alone. And they would be very much alone during the ride on the Ferris wheel. She swallowed.

No, Yrsa had to stand her ground.

“I won’t be fine! Can you imagine me hanging in the air, 300 feet above ground? It’s not natural!” She waved her hand emphatically, her ruby-red nail polish sparkling in the lamplight.

“I thought that this could be something special,” his rumbly voice reached her ears despite the hustle and bustle of the amusement park around them. “It’s our first anniversary, after all…”

“Oh. Is it? Yes, you’re right! How could I forget? it’s August, and our first kiss was at that wedding… You were so unbelievably grumpy, remember?” She chuckled.

“Only because you kept on brushing me off all day long!” Thorin grunted.

“I was just after a messy breakup,” Yrsa sighed, resting her head on his shoulder. “I’m still ashamed of how much I’ve drunk that night. But I’m glad you hadn’t given up on me then.”

“It’s not often I wake up next to a gorgeous woman who insists I’m her soulmate and then falls back to sleep, drooling on my chest…” “Hey!” Yrsa protested.

“... in a very cute and feminine way, of course,” Thorin grinned.

“Nice save!”

“Thank you,” Thorin made a mock bow, making Yrsa giggled and took another sip of cider from her paper cup.

“One year already, huh?” She hummed. “Our anniversary. I’m sorry, I feel so stupid, I should have remembered…”

“You remember all the Latin names of the bones in the human body and I remember the important dates and appointments. That’s how we roll, right?” Thorin pulled her close so that she was facing him now.

“Right,” she pecked him on his bearded cheek. It smelled like cider, strawberry ice-cream, and that sandalwood fragrance she had given him for Christmas. “Has anyone told you you’re the sexiest mechanical engineering student I’ve ever met?”

“Not often enough,” he rumbled, his lips drifting towards hers, but Yrsa tilted her head back.

“Am I not getting my one year anniversary kiss?” Thorin frowned.

“It depends,” Yrsa wrinkled her nose. 

“On?”

“On whether we are going on that contraption from hell,” she pointed at the said contraption moving in a steady, circular, and slightly sickening motion above them.

“Yes, we are,” Thorin said with conviction.

“No, we aren’t,” Yrsa said with conviction.

“So… are you withholding kisses from me? It’s blackmail!”

“It’s called a self-preservation instinct!”

“Yrsa. The Ferris wheel is safe. I swear. It’s brand new, it passed all the tests—I was helping with the fatigue tests, remember? You will be alright!” Thorin squeezed her hand. 

“I won’t!” Yrsa shook her head. 

“Look at that kid, he just got off the Ferris wheel and he’s beaming!” “It’s Mikey Dorisson, he’s going to puke.”

“No, he’s not, he’s… oh. Well.”

“I told you.”

“But his sister looks happy!”

“Because she’s just uploaded another TikTok vid of him puking,” Yrsa scowled.

“Well, you won’t puke!”

“Because I’m not going!” “Even if I ask you to close your eyes so that I can give you one kiss for every minute we’re up there?” Thorin purred, pecking the tip of her nose. “Hmmm… how about one kiss every ten seconds?” Yrsa batted her eyelashes innocently. “That can be…” Thorin started.

“What’s up, bro? Hiya, Yrsa!” A dark-haired teenager in a worn, navy blue baseball cap waved at them.

“Frerin! What are you doing here?” Thorin growled.

“I came to see how you were doing! Yrsa, have you said ‘yes’?” Frerin gesticulated excitedly.

“He meant the Ferris wheel,” Thorin interjected, but Yrsa clearly saw the deadly stare he directed at his younger brother.

“I don’t— Ouch!” Frerin made a jump. “Ah, yeah. Right. Sure. I meant the Ferris wheel. So, are you going?”

“I’m not sure. I haven’t prepared my last will yet,” Yrsa whispered conspiratorially, making him laugh.

“I wouldn’t go if I were you,” Frerin replied with a glint in his eye. “Can you imagine spending so much time alone with my big bro? He’ll probably start telling you everything about the centrifugal force and all that other boring stuff! And what if you catch a cold? It’s very windy up there, you know. Oh, and…”

“Shut up, Frerin,” Thorin groaned, clenching his fists.

“Actually, Thorin was about to bribe me with some cotton candy…” Yrsa stated.

“Were I now?” Thorin’s eyebrow travelled up his forehead. Slowly.

“Yes, you were, “ Yrsa exclaimed enthusiastically. “Cotton candy and that big white teddy bear from the Mirkwood Shooting Gallery.”

“You know how I hate that stuck-up guy who runs the place,” Thorin sighed with a frown.

“But the teddy bear is sooo cute!” She batted her eyelashes again. It always worked. “Please?”

“Well…” Thorin hummed, but Yrsa knew him well enough to know she had already won. 

“And you better keep on hugging me all the time we’re up there,” she wrapped her arms around his upper arm and pecked his cheek. “Deal?”

“Deal!” Thorin pulled her into his arms and kissed her right on her lips, most probably ruining her ruby-red lipstick, but at that very moment she did not really care. She could never say no to his kisses. So she reciprocated.

“Guys! You’re disgusting!” Frerin groaned theatrically. “I’m going to get some ice-cream. Who wants some?”

Sadly, no one replied to him. Thorin and Yrsa were too busy.

“I’m going to name him ‘Beorn’.” Yrsa hugged her giant teddy bear as she settled herself in her Ferris wheel seat.

“Like that guy who rented us his vacation cabin?” Thorin wondered. 

“Yeah!”

“I don’t see the resemblance.” “Well, Beorn here is… fluffy.  Just like that guy. He reminded me of a big teddy bear.” She chuckled and sat the bear on the seat opposite her.

“Beorn? A big teddy bear? Didn’t you mean a big, rabid bear?” Thorin put his arm around her shoulder.

“No, that’s you,” Yrsa grinned, but then the Ferris wheel started moving, making her pale. “I’m going to need that hug and kiss now.”

Thorin, of course, complied.

 “Yrsa…” Thorin whispered as their lips parted. ��You can open your eyes now. We are on top now and the view is…”

“No.”

“Not even a tiny bit?” He murmured into her ear and moved away before she could protest.

“Nuh-uh,” she shook her head, her eyes still closed.

“Not even if I tell you that I have a little something for you? For our anniversary?” Yrsa decided that Thorin using his deep, purring voice had to be classified as a crime. She couldn’t say no, could she? She opened one eye. Just a little bit. Just to see why Thorin had stopped embracing her.

What she saw made Yrsa open her other eye and gasp. Thorin was kneeling on one knee in front of her and held something in his hands.

“Yrsa… I have to tell you something. You knew it from the moment we first met, but it took me a whole six months to realize that you were my… soulmate.”

“T-Thorin?” Her voice trembled. Somehow, Yrsa forgot that she was sitting in a small pod 300 feet above ground in darkness, sailing through the air with the moon hanging above them. “What are you saying?”

“I’m trying to say that you are the one I want to spend my whole life with.” Thorin opened the little box he held in his hand. Against the bottle green velvet, something glittered like the stars above them. “Will you marry me, Yrsa?”

Before she drowned in the low, velvety rumble of his voice, in the deep blue sea of his gaze, Yrsa managed to whisper, “Yes.”

At that very moment, she was not afraid of heights at all.

Last film / show: Star Trek: The Next Generation ("All Good Things" lol).

Inspiration: I derive inspiration from watching TNG. Music usually helps to get me in a writing mood too (idk if this section is about writing-related inspiration, but it is now lol). Reading books also enthuses me to write my own stories.

Story behind url: 'My timing is digital' is a quote from the episode "Outrageous Okona", in which Data is experimenting with humour and jokes etc. I just thought Data replying 'my timing is digital' to Guinan's 'it could have been your timing' was super witty and hilarious (well done, whoever wrote that line), and I somehow always remembered it?

Fun fact about me: I have a poster of Rembrandt's The Night Watch hanging on my bedroom wall, above my television. It is one of my favourite works of art made by a Dutch painter. I've seen it twice at the Rijksmuseum and it's so unbelievably astonishing. :3 My replica can't do it justice, but I like it regardless.
