Why Derek's death hits me so much?

It's cause it's like the biggest fuck you to us.

They were all marketing the movie as a love letter to the fans and a tribute to the show and they could've chosen to just let us enjoy it.

But no.

Scallison got it all and the rest of us got a slap in the face and a punch to the gut. They didn't have to do that.

And then just the way they did it, just makes it so much worse. Derek is the most traumatized character out of all of them. He deserved peace and a little happiness the most. And it was so senseless.

And then basically giving Eli to Scott who apparently just left his pack behind and didn't give a shit and to Allison an Argent... To make Derek burn, to make Kate succeed in the end...

It's just cruel and nothing else. Kiling off the most traumatized character in an act of self-sacrifice... It's a trope we know...

But it's so much worse this time cause this was supposed to be for the fans...

And I just don't get why. They know how much Derek is loved...

So does anybody else ever think about how Loop felt the need to demonstrate that the party's deaths wouldn't have any effect on the loops. I know I do but that's besides the point. Anyway I don't think Loop actually needs to bathe, they just like to feel included.

Very deeply annoyed by the fanon idea that Talia treated Jason like a pet or a tool when he was catatonic, because when you actually read lost days you can clearly see that Talia is literally the only person who looked at Jason while he was catatonic and still saw a person and treated him like a person while everyone else around her (Ra’s and the doctor she hired) was ready to dismiss Jason as an empty shell

#As much as I do use the dog owner and dog metaphor to describe their relationship at times because she did very much pluck him off #the streets and rehabilitate him like one might a stray puppy. Talia doesn’t actually dehumanize him in that way. She’s literally the only #one who believes and treats him like he’s still sentient. If Jason is Talia’s pet than Talia is the type of owner who is dropping 10k on #their 18 year old dog’s cancer treatment when everyone is telling her that it’s hopeless and that she should just put him down #‘Promise you’ll treat me like I’m a dog with a bite history and you’re the last white girl with a savior complex on earth’ type shit #that’s her poor little meow meow right there have some RESPECT #And stop basing your idea of Jason and Talia’s relationship off of fanfic and that 10 second clip from young justice #Jason Todd #Dc #Also this goes back to my other post about people being unwilling to believe that Talia is capable of genuine kindness for some reason

the FUNNIEST thing by far about the miraculous movie is that, despite spending a lot of its time/songs on the premise of "no, marinette! believe in yourself! you CAN do it! you SHOULD be ladybug! you should acknowledge the power you have!" etc etc, the resolution of the conflict of the movie actually only hinges on "Chat Noir Loses". Like, as long as Chat Noir loses, Hawkmoth gives up doing evil things and sees the error of his ways. This is how the movie is resolved. Ladybug, as Chat Noir's partner who helps Chat Noir to Not Lose, actively pushes back the resolution of the movie. If Ladybug never showed up and Chat Noir was left to fight Gargoyle alone, he probably would've lost, and then Hawkmoth would've seen his identity and stopped what he was doing, and the entire movie could've been resolved in only one akuma and with less destruction of Paris. Every akuma battle thereafter only exists because Ladybug showed up to the last, and all of them leave destruction in their wake because she doesn't even cast miraculous ladybug on any battle except the final one. Ladybug's presence in the movie actually actively harms Paris. Even in the final scene, Marinette is battered and beaten and detransformed on the ground, and Tikki encourages her "come on, Marinette! you can stall the resolution just a little bit longer!" and then Marinette tackles Chat Noir away from Hawkmoth in a scene I literally forgot happened until my rewatch because it doesn't impact the story at all beyond stalling the resolution another 10 seconds. Marinette was right and should've just stayed home, actually. In this essay I will,

Chloe is a heater so she has to sleep in shorts ( they're baby blue ofc) and a tshirt a lot, and red is absolutely FERAL over her because in the mornings Chloe wakes up and her voice is deeper and she looks so boyfriend (Red explains that it's a tiktok thing, Chloe still doesn't get it but she takes the title with pride) And it takes Red all the power in the world to not jump chloe's bones right then and there because they have somewhere to be in an hour and she cannot make them late (again) but chloe is RIGHT THERE looking like THAT and she can't stop staring. So when the blue haired princess knows exactly what she's doing to Red, when she's leaning over and using her voice to her advantage whispering "Nous aurons le temps pour ça plus tard, cerise" in the girls ear and then has the audacity to chuckle at Reds little whine? Nah all bets are off, they'll make time NOW.

Chloe's absolutely melts when Red picks out one of her oversized shirts to sleep in (And only her shirt too, Red knows exactly how chloe likes it when the shirt is not only her baby blue color but her legs aren't covered either so Chloe's sure she's won the lottery), and Chloe has to fight tooth and nail to keep her eyes anywhere but her girlfriend when Red sits in her lap as she moves to get out of bed. And when the shirt pools at her hips (In the way she know drives her blue princess mad, and if she made sure the shirt rode up on purpose that's between her and god) Chloe can feel their difference in temperature when she puts her hands on Red's thighs, she can feel the shiver that goes through Red when she places her palms on her hips, she can feel the contrast of Reds cold lips on her feverish neck, she can feel Red's knees tighten when she whispers french into her ear and goddamnit-

She never had a chance of getting out of bed when she woke up this morning and fuck it she doesn't care anymore, Chad has dipped on Chloe so many times for Audrey that she thinks it's time to return the favor because if she doesn't pay attention to her girlfriend right now she might just die.
