definitely do not think about being called tons of masc terms by an f/o. if you’re comfortable with it of course, they make sure before doing so. maybe they start with calling you the petnames/nicknames they’d usually use for you, calling you handsome along with it (‘hey, handsome man’ or a ‘hi, my sweet, handsome boy.’) maybe you like being called pretty boy too, they’d definitely ask first. maybe they focus on the features they adore the most about you.

maybe you ask to be reassured with such words because you feel comforted by it and they don’t mind doing so, but in the end they really do think those sweet things that they mumble in your ear.

Sometimes when Sam was younger and just couldn't handle dealing with John, he would go into the motels bathroom, and put his headphones on at max volume. It hurt his ears but it drowned out his thoughts. Dean would notice that Sam was gone and go where he knew Sam would be.

Most of the time Sam would be crying, sometimes he was spaced out. No matter what was happening Dean would take Sam's headphones off and tell him not to turn it up so loud. Then Dean would sit next to Sam and he would rub circles on Sam’s back, it helped Sam calm down.

my worst trait is the need to get 12 hours of sleep every night. if i have to get up at 6am well i should be in bed by 6pm. combine this with my natural inclination to stay up really late and you get me waking up past noon because i was up past midnight. if there is no external force like school or a job keeping me on my early bedtime schedule i will revert to sleeping til noon within a few days

Shivan uses darling for most everyone he talks to. If he knows you better he'll use your name, or endearments like dear at times too.

Shivan calls very specific people love and only when there's no one else around, most of the time. His mother and Wynne both called him that, and they were two of the only people to ever really loved and cared for him. If he uses that term for someone, he really and truly does have feelings for them.

This isn't always use romantically, thought- he uses it for Rebecca, after he adopts her as well. If he's comforting someone, he might use love as well.
