What made me think it was funny was that Mads and Gyro would recognize them immediately, but if I were to make it a story I’d have to come up with a reason for why they’d ever switch places without telling their spouses. XD And idk, I just can’t think of anything. XD

stoppp ok so eddie decides he wants to get a tattoo for me. he says he wants my name but i fight it a little, tell him that i don’t really love the idea because it’s so obvious. and we go back and forth on it for a little while until he relents and says ok. he won’t get my name. he’ll figure something else out. then one day he comes home and wants to show me his new tattoo. takes his shirt off and points to the ‘54’ on his shoulder. and i don’t get it so he smiles and shrugs and says “roman numerals.” in roman numerals LIV is 54.

My favourite thing about tumblr, that in my opinion makes it far superior to other social media sites, is that new posts live side by side with old posts. These days, there’s a prioritization of new content. It not only shortens the lifespan of people’s work, memes and such, but it also devalues the work that goes into making certain things.

Sure, a lot of posts are just random thoughts spewed into the ether, but some posts are carefully crafted videos, photos, artwork, prose, that take the creator a considerable amount of time and effort to craft. So, as a content creator, it’s nice to see that you can put work into a piece of content on here and it can have a life of its own. Unlike other platforms where posts live and die in a matter of day, sometimes, hours
