#iiiiii dont know what kind of emotion i was trying to convey with this. i wanted to do a character exploration with my pmd hero and partner#which got away from me a little. i hc the hero has complicated emotions around their past which they dont remember#and i get the sense it leans into growing up without a childhood bc you dedicate your entire life trying to save the world#so now that they finally have a second chance to grow up properly they wanna take their time yk?? and yeah ik evolution =/= maturity#i remember seeing a post about an elderly treecko from pokeani speculating you could grow really old without ever evolving#but in human terms of maturity. even though you cant remember anything about being human it conflicts with what you know#and its probably just a gimmick when partner just tells me what we're supposed to do next every time i talk to them bc it#progresses the story but i also like thinking they want to grow up so badly and do everything all at once#compared to hero who knows what its like to grow up before youre an adult and wants to slow down#im repeating myself a lot here but i swear its smth ive feltmany times over and never found a good answer to. or what i would tell someone#i didnt base neptunes flowers on anything specifically but i looked into flower symbolism and it seems buttercups represent childhood#marmalade's flower crown is meant to be periwinkles which symbolize sincere friendship and unbreakable bonds#i love themb ;__;#my art#myart#comics#doodles#pmd#pokemon mystery dungeon#pmd ocs#pmd2#neptune#marmalade#team satellite#pokemon#eye contact#scopo#sort of?

also played around with an alternate version! i dont know much about birds but i saw the australian barn owl and took more inspo from them

WITH A GUN. gfrdfvb vfrdedrf#i am a very normal non anxiety having person i swear guys#worst thing i did here was have odys hands very visible for the qinny one. because i didnt realize the way they draw hands is very realisti#BUT THEIR WHOLE STYLE HAS REALLY REALISTIC ANATOMY I SHOULVE KNOWN#irunakis style is SO fun to draw in bc its a lot like some of my older art so its very familiar yk yk i wasnt worrying too much about makin#-things accurate. but i think that accidentally made me too comfortable and so i ended up straying a bit too much#i think a lot of irunaki and qinnys styles specifically is in the lineart. so me using my normal style of lines makes them less recognizabl#anyways. neals odysseus i have shit talked in private (its a good design it just feels uncanny w/ jorges voice to me) but hes really-#-interesting to draw. i wanna do style studies on neal their characters have a very. idk animated feels like the wrong word but like.#something like animated. feeling to them. theyre very distinct in shape i wanna do studies thats it#bigidiotenergy i found this morning while FINALLY looking at cloudysseus art and instantly fell in love w their design#i need to ruffle his hair. hes so silly. absolutely incredible design. but GOD was the style a nightmare#it was too late id already comitted to trying to replicate the styles. but ohhh my god its so far from my own it was so hard#theres so much detail in places i dont normally put any at all#and its like. WAUGH its scary i need to do anatomy studies in general maybe#uhh havent commented on the gigi one. he was really easy to draw though lol. weirdly enough gigis style was close enough to my current one-#-that i didnt have any trouble whatsoever? and i think its the most accurate too but only because of the lineart styles being similar lol#ALSO NOT TO PLAY FAVORITES BUT FOOP ODYSSEUS IS MY FAVORITE#I LOVE HIMMM I LOVE HIS SILLY SHAPES HE LOOKS LIKE A WEIRD CAT KINDA. #wanted to do a sort of inverse to small world's original vibe. i want to showcase just how little silver's world has been till now#silver didn't visit the castle. he didn't go to primary school. he lived in the middle of nowhere. i dont think he went out into BV much#so his entire world prior to NRC was roughly 8 people. only diasom and sebek's family. homeschooled KING it makes me emotional#NRC mustve been such a culture shock. so many people from so many places and so much new to experience!!! i love him!!!#i wanted to do like a companion piece of a flat plane and buildings from all over TW to show the rest of the world but not enough energy#these geometric buildings are ANNOYING theyre satisfying as finished sets but i am NOT drawing more of them#i send you all nothing but love. silver sweep. ive been very lucky to experience such kindness in my 2.5 yrs here i cant wait to draw more#rumbling like a car. id like to draw his lab vignette again. its my fav story. i want to draw a beyootiful tapestry-style piece. i . sighs#twst is so ripe for artistic experimentation ive never been so inspired by a piece of media. i want to draw everything for my boy#twst#twst silver#twstファンアート#silver vanrouge#suntails#also something w intentional complimentary colors. shocking ik but i dont think ive done one of those for twst itd be tasty#i have an idea for one w him containing his dream world a lil abstractly.
