Taehyun sat alone on the snow-covered bench, the bitter cold seeping into him as he felt the disappointment and frustration swirl within. Headcanons under the cut, the usual!

Chip to me doesn't really seem like the "watching nature" type. Unfortunately (for me at least) I don't think he'd be very into birdwatching. He'd get disinterested rather quickly and want to move on to something else.

His idea of nature is sitting on a lawn chair out in a quiet high-class suburban neighborhood. And then telling kids to get off his lawn. Or he's just standing in the middle of a golf course and taking in the carefully curated environment that is not naturally grown. This is the only way I can see him genuinely thinking "I love nature".

I also think he's more for normal Golfing than Minigolfing. He'd probably find the latter too gimmicky and childish. That, and considering Minigolfing is associated with toons... I wouldn't be surprised if the moment he tried to play, Cartoon Logic dictates it's funny enough that he always fucks up.

This gets to a point where he gets angry enough at things that his next hit shoots the ball into the stratosphere and then tosses the putter into some water. He's forced to stop playing afterwards because his chest is aching from the anger and now that's stressing him out.

Fishing I feel like is something he would take interest in - but he doesn't know how to do it. He'd need someone to teach him. He'd also need someone to accompany him while he does it.

The reason for this is that as much as he would enjoy the actual act of casting a line and reeling in a fish, he would hold the thing like a white man with the most pained grimace on his face because the fish is still alive and wiggling and slimy and he's just standing there looking at his fishing partner silently begging for help in a pissy way. He hates actually handling and unhooking the fish, it fucks with his autism in a very negative way.

And yet, he would have no problem if the fish wasn't alive and being used to cook. He'd be completely down for a catch and cook as long as he's not the one to purge the fish used.

the most physically affectionate out all of the Titans, and even so that’s not saying much -> they’re all a little touch starved

He’s normally the one who offers up hugs when needed, who initiates it 

I feel like only giving/getting hugs when things are bad would condition him a little to only expect that when shitty things are happening 

So he’s very confused — but pleasantly so — when reader just offers physical affection when good things happen and sometimes just because

everyone intimidates the shit out of me. yes even people I have been friends with and talk to daily for years. because of some bullshit that happened pretty regularly throughout my childhood and teen years. I don't know that I've actually mentioned it to anybody before, but it's why I'm always anxious to start conversations. putting it under a readmore so you don't gotta get blasted in the face by stupid if you don't care.

okay, so. grade school. regularly would have people I thought were my friends, because (at least I THOUGHT) they acted like they were, and always somehow ended in 'oh my god you're annoying go away' blowups weeks to months to even YEARS later. middle and high school that shit happened often too, actually. people were 'too polite' to tell me they weren't interested and instead just...put up with excitable, very autistic does-not-understand-non-verbal-cues-unless-they-are-blatant, kid me, until they decided they couldn't stand it anymore.

online was different, I thought. if people didn't like something I said or did online, they'd TELL me that, more often than not. I used to visit a specific forum back when I was like 13-14 and talk to people there, and I thought we got along really well. there were a couple people who were kinda mean, but otherwise people seemed really friendly and happy to talk with me.

at one point, the owner of said forums pulled me and a friend into a private chat room to basically tell me that *everyone* on the website, himself included, my friend excluded, hated me and thought I was obnoxious as fuck. which obviously was. not a fun thing to hear. and when I asked why nobody had said anything or asked me to leave them alone, the owner said that he and my friend had spent a long ass time trying to calm people down so they wouldn't force him to ban me, but he was tired of doing that, so maybe fuck off?

and unfortunately, it has happened within the last couple of years, too. somebody went from 'yes, friends, let's do stuff together and talk' to 'maybe take a fucking hint' pretty near overnight. so now even when people tell me that yeah, they enjoy my company, they WANT to talk to me, things like that...I always have that little voice going 'buuuuuut....'

which is why I struggle to message people first a lot nowadays and I get anxious every time I reply to a post, message someone via IM, or send an ask, or...basically anything ever. even just posting while other people are online gets that sort of shit going for me too.

Chapter 53 was amazing! One of the best yet! Soooo much happened!

I’m so happy that he told his mom about the abortion. Keeping that from them must have been tough.

The raw sex scene was perfect. Like I didn’t know when or how it would happen but after reading this I wouldn’t have liked it any other way! He said he’d ruin her until she cried and he kept his promise. I liked that it was their last night living together. I saw it like closing that chapter in a way. I also felt like you gave us that bomb ass scene because they’re not gonna have sex again for a while lol.

Im glad YN found a place to live. It was nice having them live together and have easy access to each other but living separately is a nice change and also will bring new plot.

I was shocked to find Jimin so upset about them hooking up again. I was kinda annoyed with him. I was loving Tae so much when he was defending their decision lol. I agree with Jimin somewhat but I don’t agree with how he came at them. I love how calm and collected Jungkook was compared to YN lol. And his “besties for life” line made me lol.

I was nooooot expecting the chapter to end in a big argument! I was kinda annoyed with YN because she was blowing things out of proportion about Esther coming along but I kinda get it a little because I was last minute and she’s not really their friend only Jungkook’s, but still that was more jealousy than actual annoyance at the last minute addition. I think she feels like she’s gonna get replaced because until now she’s been like the only girl in the friend group. Jungkook got stern with her and cursed at her 😳. It’s been a while. He hasn’t really been like that with her since YN was trippin over K!£0…. 🤔 but he’s also wrong for assuming that Esther and YN could share a tent and she wouldn’t mind. He didn’t even ask, he just assumed. He was wrong for that.

So the big question is how the hell is she gonna get Yoongi to go on a friend trip with her?! They aren’t even really friends lol. And she can’t show up without him cause then Jungkook will definitely rub that in her face.

Ahh the 🍣 scene gave me a trouble! First of all, I wanted it to be perfect. I feel like so many of you have waited for it and expected something big, I tried to deliver that. It was hard to write for a certain period of time, I got stuck and then stopped writing it while I continued the story (which I don’t like to do at all because sometimes it can get confusing 😭). I was going back and forth between that scene but in the end, of course I’ve managed to finish it and I’m glad how it ended. Idk if I remember correctly (many thoughts cross my mind while writing) but I think I originally planned the scene to happened on another day ??? Or I know there was something that didn’t go according to the plan 🫣

ive mentioned her before but cecilia rider, in all her herbo glory, truly is the ideal of fuck around and find out. she has the highest daring out of my steps and is reckless in ways that give all my other steps heart attacks. and like ive said before, cecilia is not the type of person to regret her actions, past and present. she will keep moving forward even when it hurts. nothing demonstrates that more than her relationship with the other rangers

cecilia is a hunger scar step, and by god does she hunger. she craves human connection, to have a relationship and feel loved again. the only thing that kept her from walking to the front door of HQ after her second escape was her work as a villain– she didnt want to be distracted, not when it was something she looked forward to for years.

her first reaction to meeting ortega again was excitement. she was so happy to see him, her best friend of years, and once upon a time one of her only connections to the outside world. The old jokes, banter, smiles and hugs was something she didnt even know she wanted, but when she got it again she was desperate for more. she couldnt live without it. after that, she cared so much and so recklessly, with no concern over what would happen if she did

after ortega, she ended up befriending herald (though that rooftop kidnapping was rough, she got pissed and ended up punching him djsjjdjs). it was really smooth, actually– cecilia is just a nice person, very bubbly and kind, and she loves being around herald, his thoughts made her feel warm and cared for (even if, in her eyes, he only cared for sidestep, not cecilia). plus, shes a lupin thief. i can imagine herald and cecilia discussing and debating art with eachother in their downtime. it makes me SO sad that you can only hang out w one ranger in checkpoint 4, even if it makes sense, because i think cecilia would totally go out with him for dinner for the free food and then waylay him with an "actually, im a lesbian who's going for your ex girlfriend" when he asks her on a proper date. in my heart this and the hangout with argent happened. I accept nothing else. Anyway those two are bffs and cecilia would beat the shit out of anyone who hurts him(except herself, because she did end up beating him to high hell at the museum. sorry danny lmfao)

cecilia ended up befriending chen next. actually, she never really wanted to be friends with him. she was perfectly content leaving him as the one ranger she hated. but, well, he has a dog, so she couldnt really stay mad at him, could she?

Bless spoon for all his hard work, because cecilia wouldve never interacted with chen civilly otherwise. she discovered that she actually liked walking with chen, as weird as that was, since hes at least less of a dick now. she went to walk spoon after therapy(sorry ortega) and was pleasantly surprised to find that chens quiet, more contemplative nature did well to calm her, especially since shes just a rowdy person in general. when she found out chen was gay and jealous of her, though,,,,, well, all i can say is rip chen because cecilia would never let him live that one down. i can imagine she teases him mercilessly about getting him and ortega together. chen will never know a moments peace again

and then there is, of course, argent. cecilia didnt care much for her during rebirth, up until the gala fight, where they fought eachother for the first time. she fought her fairly in the sewers and ended up enjoying it, even though argent stole her cape. from that point on, she looked forward to their fights just as much as argent did. in the bridge, she was very pleased to know that the flirting was reciprocated, and that kiss as she was very probably about to die did wonders for her heart rate. same with getting choked in the HQ. she had ample time to stop argent before it happened btw, she was just curious and then faced the consequences of her own actions lmfao

all that said, most of it was just cecilia finding her hot. she didnt really start being drawn to argent until the casino. the regenerator was the first time cecilia saw real desperation in her, a want that made her think, for once, maybe somebody could understand her. that somebody could relate to the constant feeling of need gnawing away at her. and of course, because this is cecilia, she made the most drastic decision she could think of to confirm it– she took her chances and revealed her tattoos, and herself, to argent. she had no qualms taking the subsequent consequences, and was very happy to know that the worst she suffered was a swollen lip(one that shed use to torment ortega later on anyway)

i cant explain it very well but argent and cecilia make me so jdjjjdjkkkkdj yk. theyre so similar. theyre both so stubborn, moving on from things without a second glance, because if they didnt theyd drown in it. they dont regret (most) of their actions. and most importantly to me, they can become very soft when it comes to the people they care about. cecilia is more open about it since she has more people she trusts with that part of herself, and she extends that to argent. sure she loves to flirt and tease, but shes unabashedly honest when it comes to what she feels. she accepts most things that comes her way, and the things she doesnt she isnt afraid to speak her mind about. and maybe thats what gets her on argents couch, stealing chocolate eclairs from eachother and watching sappy 70s movies. either way, shes quite happy with where she ended up.

or, shes happy at least until the crash. her canon run is a revealed ending. all of the relationships that shes built over the past few months? gone, just like that. everything shes ever wanted, everything she got, was stripped away from her a second time, which was Not fun for her hunger scar ass. she has no idea what she'll do, and shes terrified of the farm coming to take her in. for once, she regrets everything, all her actions leading up to this moment. but what can she do? theres nothing left for her, and once the farm gets her, theres going to be less than nothing.

argent saving her is probably the best thing that ever happened to her. both because she wont have to go back to the farm, and also because its a quiet confirmation that she hasnt lost everything. That she still had people she could trust. everyone else would be a long and difficult task of mending and rebuilding. but then again, when has she ever shyed away from the long and the difficult?

CalmWriMo Log November 2nd - Wait, wasn’t I supposed to be calm?

first log, let’s go! I’m hoping to remember to do this more often throughout the month because i loooove talking and loooooove talking about my writing also. so let’s get through this!

writing day started out great with a very quick 315 word drabble i did in my ten min break at work. a little thing about Leia, which is fun, and i’ll probably post it some of these days, even though it’s just a very very quick couple of words.

i use StimuWrite most of the time and decided to get myself a new theme pack. which is fantastic, by the way, and i really do hope they release more themes soon. absolute sucker for that stuff. the type writer noises help me focus so much and they do have a nanowrimo sale going on so i might as well grab another one of the themes if i feel like it. i think that app is single-handedly carrying me through this month

finished chapter 13! i wrote 792 words of the total 4119 this chapter currently has. the formatting is definitely wonky as fuck and i really do need to figure out how to make it look a little nicer, but the words are all there, and that’s good!

finished chapter 14 as well? somehow? im telling you, it’s the fucking stimuwrite. anyways so for the first time in my life i finished an entire chapter in one evening. it is “only” 4501 words long, but that’s good, that’s fine. i don’t want to stress myself too much about irregular chapter lengths. i’m also really glad that i have a couple of chapters in my backlog again since i am posting as i’m writing.

so on day two, in total, i’ve written: 5608 words. this is one of the most productive writing days i’ve had in a while!

now my goals for tomorrow:

since i’ve done a LOT of writing today, i’ll let myself take it slower. first priority is to edit chapter 12 as soon as i get home from work so i can post it, and then i can decide what i’m more in the mood for? i would love to get into the flow and start with chapter 15, which is gonna be a very exciting one to write for me, but i also think it’s time to focus more on the self care aspect of this whole thing, and just do some chill video game farming while listening to an audio book.

i also wanna look through the calmwrimo tag and check out what other people are up to! ive already been lurking the whole day, it’s nice to have some insight into the writerblr community!

overall i’m already. really happy with my work. just the fact that i have a specific goal in mind is motivating me to sit down and write, and i do actually love pushing myself to write just a little more, and a little more, and just a tiny little bit more. this is gonna be fun! i’m having fun! this is good! eek!
