I have a lot to explain I KNOW. I’m sorry apparently I’m incapable of writing silly happy fun stuff, it’s the bane of my existence. im sorry about the twinyard fight!! I’m especially sorry that I didn’t move that plot along after the beginning, I have a couple scenes planned to progress that plot and make things happy again but I was just too exhausted to write it this week so I will absolutely include it in part 6!! Coming out who knows when!! I don’t know what happened to Kevin’s profile pic and I’m too tired to fix it so let’s assume Neil gave him a profile pic that was the exact shade of white as the header ig. Ummm I based Jeremy’s experience with homophobic fans off of real life things I’ve seen happen regarding queer people and pride in the sporting world, the hockey world mostly. I wanted to make it really really clear that I wasn’t trying to diminish the experience of queer WOMEN in sports by talking about the backlash men face, and I know there’s a lot of nuance to this debate that I didn’t address because I didn’t really know how to. Exy is a mainstream, very popular co-Ed sport, and it was hard for me to draw parallels between fan responses in real life to fan responses in a world where people just accept sports that aren’t segregated by gender. So yeah, if anyone has any problems with the way I addressed this I’m sorry, feel free to dm me if you have any concerns!

the way kiara put up a pillow to make out with JJ (or more *wink*) in the chamber pod thingy *chefs kiss* and the way she and JJ had traded places, of course implying that there was definitely some rolling around going on in there *wink* best part imo (just woulda been better if we had seen them kiss but its fine IM FINE) I'm just a slut for some kiss scenes that's all. I honestly didn't even feel like their dynamic needs it. I just like to see that kissing content

I actually really love the dynamics this season. They have THREE couples in the main group and they've done amazing not making it feel like that, tbh. Though I did get frustrated because I COULD use a little more PDA sometimes, it also (especially for JJ and Kie) makes perfect sense for their characters. Plus, as friends first (and friends for so long), it's nice watching them get to slowly be more comfortable in showing affection beyond closed doors.

I know Rafe is crazy. really I do. but I really want him to become good. I love how this girl has seemed to help that, too. she's a pogue and he doesn't care - like he does but he loves her anyway and it's helped him realize why Sarah did what she did. being a pogue doesn't really change who you are. He also has shown remorse for hating on pogues, like the whole beach scene. I saw someone say they didn't understand the point but I think the point was to show us Rafe and his gf (forgot her name I'm so sorry girly), and show how mad she became, and for Rafe to realize maybe this whole pogue vs kook thing was STUPID and hurtful. It also seems to have to do with Topper development but I kind hate Topper so I don't care about him lolll

cannot get over how solid jiara is. they're just... they're just right. they fit. and now that they've been together for 2 years working crap out, there's no silly early dating drama. it's just JJ being JJ, or Kie being Kie, and they both know each other so well they know there's not a reason to even argue. like JJ didn't even fight Kie on diving because he knew he couldn't fight her. she's too stubborn. just like Kie knows there's no need in getting mad at JJ when he does something wreckless because he does something like all the time. she knows talking to him calmly is the only way to even reach him anyway.

I’m sosoisoso glad you asked I’ve beeen thinking about this little dudes backstory for so long and not I can finally spill the beans (it’s still somewhat of a rough draft but I’ve got some of the main details down)

I don’t have a name for him yet so for all intensive purposes his name is just octo agent for now, he’s a trans man btw just gotta note that

He was born to an octoling mother and an inkling father (who for obvious reasons wasn’t present in his life at all), but nobody could really tell because in my Splatoon universe inktolings don’t exist. Instead, the hybrid child usually is the species of the mother with some holdover traits from the father (as you can see little octo agent over here took the eye mask, sharp ears, and slightly shorter than the average octoling height from his father). His mom was able to chalk these traits off as simple defects, keeping the secret of her relationship with the enemy.

Because of his half inkling heritage, by default his general mindset was..different from the average octoling. The propaganda never really worked on him, he was more fun loving and rebellious than the other octolings. He had a gut feeling there was more to life than just the army. He just never knew how to access it.

He excelled in his training classes and even became an elite octoling, but found himself the subject of relentless teasing and bullying by his elite peers due to his differences in mindset and appearance, which only reinforced his desire to escape this life.

Little known to him, what was meant to be a recon mission in upper Octo Valley became that ticket to freedom, yap yap yap he convinced Capn Cuttlefish to let him be Agent 3 (after LOTS and I mean LOTS of pestering).

The rest is history!

admittedly the story is a bit flawed, but honestly I just wanted to have fun making this guy. I really enjoy drawing him in all his stupid glory

Hey, been a while! I haven't been posting much due to the fact that I got gravely sick these past few months (+ stress from other personal stuff) and couldn't be bothered to go on here much. But now that I'm feeling slightly better, thought I'd drop in and show some character design stuff I did of my OCs for my fic (im still working out the kinks so the next update won't be out for a while sadly)

First off, here's a refined version of my OC I previously showed before (she still doesn't have a concrete name yet but for now I'm calling her "JD" (which is short for "Jane Doe"))

She serves as a key role in the main story, as an unsuspecting bean has plans for her that she's not ready to face on.

Next OC I want to introduce is a personal favorite of mine: Soul!

In this fic, Soul is heavily connected to Chase Young's past; more specifically, Chase Young's early days of joining Heylin. I wanted to explore what it was like for Chase having to grow accustomed to the Heylin side the moment he switched sides, and Soul plays a big role in shaping who he is today.

Honestly I can't wait to write those chapters because their history together is... something. (And also Soul goes thru an unexpected character growth since the last time Chase saw him)

Last OC I wanna introduce is Lady Lian! I don't want to dive deep into her role cuz I want her story to be completely spoiler-free. But just know that there's a reason her hair and eye color is similar to JD's.

Where both of you make eye contact that felt like hours upon hours. you pass by their table. for this song playing, you ran to your friend in the corner drinking some beer cheering apparently it was girls night.

You my dear were the one that stood out from your friend group. Hange looks over at your friend group watching y’all. Hange has amazing eyesight for real, even at night it’s super sharp as well as sun set. They locked eyes with you. And there you were screaming and laughing happily. As you’re just hysterical.

“You’re staring at her…” Levi clears his throat. Already seeing where this is going. “Pft no Im not.” Hange snaps out of it snorting and fails at trying to covering up what they’ve been doing “okay yeah I was.” They sighed rubbing their temples. “But she’s so beautiful.”

“Yes but doesn’t she look a little bit young?” Levi interjects, as Hange rolls their eyes. “To hell with it, let’s just hope she’s in her 20s.” Hange sips their glass once more as they tap their foot to the music that’s playing. Always upbeat and get going.

. And then here you come making your way to their table. Already having some plates of food. “Hiii how are y’all tonight?” You are happy as ever, a little drunk but a huge ass sweetheart.

“We’re fine thank you, and yourself?” Levi says in a calmly manner with a cheerful attitude sarcastically.

“Ehh I’m good, but I noticed y’all didn’t even make food while y’all were here.” She gave them food. In a bag. It had tacos rice and beans. Even some hot tea. She smiled blushing. “Y’all take some.” Then here you come again running back slowly and then coming to Hanges direction.

“Hi, can you dance??” Y/n asked Hange. “Well i mean i Can dance a little bit. If that counts.” Y/n is smiling happily with the face flushed grabbing Hange. “Perfect!! We’re gonna dance together!!” She held their hands and took them to the dance floor all Hange can see turning around is Levi giving a thumbs up. “You got what you wished for good luck. Shitty glasses.” Levi would smirk and watch Hange flip him off. As y/n giggled taking their hand guiding their hands to y/ns hips. As they’re one to be touchy but gotta keep composure.

With the music blasting from the band, lights flashing. And the Booze slowly kicking in. Watching your skin reflect within the light.

“Hello?!” You sang. “There you are. I thought I lost your attention for a second!!” You snickered.

As a light flush was on their cheeks. “It’s been a long day today..” their mind blanks as they gaze and admire yet study your features, rubbing the small of your back. alright! so CnD, or "Creation and Destruction" is my homebrew "dnd" campaign!! i have dnd in quotes just cause. well my autism got too strong and i made an entire handbook with my own mechanics LMAO so it's really it's own Thing at this point. which is super cool n fun. after everything's been wrapped up i might publish that handbook but WE SHALL SEE.

anyway CnD is my own personal excuse to make my friends rp with me and my crazy ocs. SO.

it all started when the 11 party members crashed on the beach in a town they'd never seen before. looked totally normal until at the end of the first session they found a portal!

jumping in, that just... kept happening. small adventure, portal, repeat. with no end in sight. as the party began questioning why all this was happening, they met these two little FREAKS named mayhem and maelstrom. (i'll add all refs i have below!!)

anyway mae n may mentioned an elusive “She” that they’re working for, which led my players down an insane conspiracy rabbit hole in which they guessed 90% of hullabaloo’s vibe based on a PRONOUN. ONE PRONOUN I DROPPED I CAN’T TELL THESE MFS ANYTHING

next, they met pandemonium, (@weedsmokingbfs's oc!!! owe you my life muppy) who told them that: these portals aren't taking them place to place, it's transporting them around purgatory. and they've all died.

since then it's been up to the party to navigate their purpose, how to escape, all of it.

then they met bedlam, who explained to them this crazy prophecy and the reason they're all trapped there, which connects to a decision he made 800 years earlier.

my god this is so much to explain IM CRAZY ok. so callie and dee (@percexe) had been meeting in the void for centuries. he'd see callie there when he died and never knew why. 2 idiots had an unspoken pact to not talk about their pasts, but boy they should've!

it would've revealed that callie is actually named chaos, and directly related to all the other crazy clowns they'd meet across the campaign.

they're called the Story, the main 6 pantheon of gods i've set up in this universe! so we've got (in order of like. "hierarchy")

mayhem and maelstrom: gods of war and balance (he/they)

pandemonium: trickster god of illusion (he/it)

bedlam: god of magic and prophecy (he/him)

hullabaloo: goddess of joy, day, and spontaneity (she/her)

chaos: goddess of narration, night, and tradition (she/he)

the Story are basically the worlds most fucked up family, all considering each other brother and sister. in the beginning they were fine, but as time went on things just naturally got more and more messed, and now everything is just a nightmare

chaos and hullabaloo are kinda a tier above the rest of the story, part of their own subset called the Storytellers.

hullabaloo wanted more power and betrayed chaos, trapping her in the void for eternity, as she wanted to rule the universe herself. which all circles back to how callie met dee.

in the void, chaos didn't feel like himself and took on the name calypso, which is how she introduced herself to dee once they met.

and nobody found out anything out of a series of insane miscommunications and lack of info! what fun!

but now in the campaign timeline, everyone's basically caught up. we've finished the first season and are heading into the second in a couple weeks!!! also excuse if this feels rushed at all it's because it is <3 LMFAO there's just so much with CnD, this barely scratches the surface.

there's so much i couldn't cover here like the prophecy binding the party to purgatory, bedlam's entire role in that, the mages, etc. we're like 25 sessions in and so far i've planned 40 more. i am SO normal!!!!

Personally I’m a big fan of Taiwan! I don’t get most hetalia yuri ships truthfully but I’m open to some like HunUkr is peak BUT CONSIDER BELBEL (Belgium and Belarus, the main appeal to me is just, their ship name is funny), or BelgUkr (Belgium and Ukraine), actually I just love Belgium a lot… My type in characters is definitely not showing (I just love energetic cute characters, cute characters in general), Honestly the belarus thing was real and Yeah… I prefer in stories they show like character development for belarus rather than ignoring that whole side of her, Idk I like a lot of belarus ships too if done right, belliet is peak, but consider belatai (belarus x Taiwan)

This fella, this stupid fucking idiot, my son, Giggles, was originally my clownsona, but he kind of became his own person after a while. Now he's kind of like. A mascot for my blog now lol.

Giggles is an Alien Space Clown from planet CT-11 (clown town and my fav number) a small rundown of CT-11 for ya: Earth but Clowns. The planet itself is completely different. The grass is pink for starters. However, the species that are like the human race of CT-11 are literally just like us. I have the idea of like.. adding real world events to it to be funny but not in a serious way. (9/11. Clown edition)

There are 3 species of circus Folk: Clowns, Jesters, and Mimes. Including the hybrids: Fools, (Jester/clown) Peepers, (Clown/Mime) and Trixies. (Mime/jester)

Oh yeah there is circus folk racism btw and I even gave each species a slur :D

The main cast of CT-11 story thing (I have yet to make a name for the comics, however the game that I am developing, still in the VERY EARLY stages, is titled: Giggles Delightful Digital Dilemma!)

Giggles the Clown, Filly the Fool, and Jinx the Jester. Giggles lives in the Clown Bell Hotel with his goober. ( a creature I made often used as a pet in this world) Every day, he gets up, feeds it, and goes out to co-run the "Craft-Shack" with Jinx. (It is illegal, and they do not have a license to run it :D) Most of the time, they make no sells, but it gets them through the day and enough money. Giggles does have a PhD. in computer science and has made many attempts at getting a job for programming and other computer stuff. (im still researching computer science, so right now, Giggles is as smart as me.) So far, he has only made it to interviews and got let down. "Give my son a chance!" <- I say as I make his life have more mishaps. His only accessories are his shoes and his top hat. Most circus folk have their beans out and think he's weird for it. Oh yeah, everyone is naked, btw, not in a weird way, though. It's just their skin patterns. (More about species biology n stuff at the bottom, btw) He is the most restless sleeper imaginable. Constant tossing to the point that he broke his lamp in his sleep once. Not because nightmares/nighterrors, (not until he experiences the horror of humanity and ... clownity????) He had an unfathomable amount of useless shit in his home, hoarder of trinkets and things. Massive painter, goes for abstract stuff most of the time. Usually, he has no idea what he's painting until he has a bunch of things on his canvas, and then he makes a story behind. Nobody likes his paintings, though. He has ALL the haters. In his free times he goes around his neighborhood to draw scenery. (I have cursed myself as an artist who hates backgrounds to make a character who draws primarily backgrounds.) Though most of the people tell him to stop sitting inront of their homes or to get out the street, he is not well liked. Probably because of his ... history of fucking everything up. That's why he avoids others as much as possible other than his only friends, Filly and Jinx. Can't fuck anything up if you don't bother anyone, right? <- foreshadowing/silly. Anyways, he does end up on Earth eventually and he discovers his favorite food there: Strawberry Shortcake Rolls. It's like a drug for him. Kind of like when Wanda eats chocolate lol.

Enough talks about Giggles, let's get onto his first ever and longest lasting bestie; Filly the Fool. Filly is kind of a dumbass, but in an oblivious way. They are very unaware of their stupidity. Giggles and Filly met each other when Giggles had caused another .. accident. Filly helped him out of his mess, and they've stood by each others side since. (until the unfathomable horrors) Filly lives in the same neighborhood as Giggles, a few blocks from him. They don't have any pets and live in a fairly small and barley affordable home. They do have their garage cleaned out to store their instruments and for when they practice dancing. Their primary intrument is alto Saxophone, though they do have a lot of experience in French horn and tenor saxophone. Filly has no accessories other than their bowtie. Their dawgs are out, but they look like shoes since they've got jester in them. Filly had a shrill and quiet voice and doesn't speak much. Sometimes their completely non-verbal. Unfortunately, Filly has not been accepted into any music schools to get a degree in music. (Me too, sigh ...) Filly sometimes help with Jinx and Giggles' illegal business, but tries to stay out of it as much as possible to not, yk, get in legal trouble. They do have a job as a gardener for some rich snob in their neighborhood. That's how they were able to afford so many instruments. The job pays, sadly. Working for a rich you'd except to make a living, but unfortunately, Filly is underpaid.

Now for Jinx. I actually don't have much on xem as xey are a pretty new character, created around the end of December. Though there are a few things about xem that I could say, I guess. Dumbass in decisions, and well fucking aware of it and does not plan on changing anytime soon. If xey were served on a silver platter xey'd taste like sulfuric acid, that how stinky xey are. (Affectionately drowns xem in water. Xey encourage Giggles to do a lot of illegal stuff not just to benefit but because xey like the rush. (They have committed atrocities but their poor and starving so it's excusable /j) Jinx is not only aware of xey're awful decisions, but also how bad of an influence they are for people, so xey do have slight guilt for dragging Giggles into xey're own messes, but then xey pride xemselves in helping Giggles with money and easy routes to get necessities, so then the guilt goes away for xem.

Alright! Time for the biology stuff!! These are really outdated artworks from August's, but I do not feel like making new ones lol.

Stuff not mentioned here is that they have no reproductive system whatsoever. On CT-11, if enough energy is caused, matter comes together, and POOF!! Circus Folk has joined the party! There are no growth stages for Circus folk. They just spawn in as they are and stay like that unless like they have surgery or undergo a massive injury. ( For example, Giggles in the spaceship crash now have a jagged scare under his frill.) I wanted to find the best solution to avoid any pedophilia accuring if Giggles ever gets popular and people make ocs, (friends have already made ocs which I am very happy about) So, Circus folk have no age at all. If there is ever a character that is child coded and someone ships them with a character that is considered an adult mentally, I will not be supporting that whatsoever. That shits nasty. Also, Circus folk can survive having their organs being pulled out n stuff, as long as it's still attached to them it should be fine.

that's mostly it for public contributions, but my playthroughs with @tobegii are full of delightful crack takes like "fe9/10 is actually a book that ephraim is writing throughout sacred stones" and "zihark is a real guy from real life new york who got isekai'd into fire emblem" and "people from daein (in tellius) and grado (sacred stones) pronounce 'general' with a hard g". we keep a list somewhere

man i'm playing awakening right now and i was devastated to find there aren't any henry & ricken (platonic) fics on ao3. same goes for platonic rgbtrio - literally like half of that tag is owned by me and beans (though i can't complain too much because i haven't checked the friendship tags for specific duos, only the whole trio). platonic fics in general really but im separating these so i can count them as two things

so that's two. as for a third... more AUs, i guess? from stupid to serious, AUs are kind of my bread and butter. roleswaps, canon divergences, different settings and time periods... it's all just so much fun! so i'd definitely love to see more of those :D

seriously though, autistic forsyth is so important to me. it's a huge part of how i write his character in all of my fics, whether it's the focus of the story or fading into the background. this is a hill i would die on.

as for anything else... nothing else as notable as that. i have my headcanons about what happened between lukas and the woman he was 'courting', back home (detailed here) and some scattered gender/sexuality headcanons that don't stay consistent between my AUs. the only other hill-to-die-on headcanon i can think of is from wayyyy back when i was in my very first fandom (headcanoning michael from be more chill as aroace) (this is very important to me)

I just need to tell you about this amazing little writer,@cordeliawhohung.

I stumbled across this account by total accident okay? Like 100% had no intention of reading the fanfictions she wrote for. I had only ever heard of Call Of Duty from my husbands late night gaming escapades. But yet, i took a chance, I googled "Simon Riley" and was like "oh okay, bet, military man who wears a skull mask. Lets give it a try," So i did.

I read her fanfiction series called Soft Spot, with basically ZERO context. I googled more in the hour it took me to read her work than ive ever googled in my life. But i was NOT dissapointed. Did i have to reread scenes to figure out who was talking because i was clueless on their names? yes. Did it discourage me one bit? no.

BECAUSE. this girls writing is something else. it captivates you, throws you right into being the main character which is EXACTLY what you're looking for when you read these things. Without fail Core had me hooked. So i did the thing that most anyone does, I left a little ask/message for her. Explaining how this piece of UNPAID, UNOWED work left me on the edge of my seat. How the wrods jumped off the page to try to become reality. Because thats what they did.

And this percious little bean, offered to message me about the characters, to help me understand the things i didnt. She not only eagerly, but kindly informed me of the beautiful characters of Call of Duty Modern Warefare 2, but she also showed me how beautiful her very soul is.

She became one of those people i wanted to talk to all the time. (I probably annoy her with how much i message her, and Core i am sorry, but i cant help it.) We started talking more regularly, and in the few weeks we have been talking, i've come to consider her one of my friends.

Although we dont get to talk a lot, due to her work, time differences and life just being hard. ANY time i see her username pop up in my notifications im thrilled.

I could go on for hours about her, i should. Because there are so many amaizng things i could say about her.

Her writing is next level, if we could all legally publish fanfiction without the whole legal rights thing, Core's story "Soft Spot" would be a best seller. I firmly believe that she would be NYC Best Selling Author her first year. Her way of writing hooks you from the first few words. I honestly get a little jealous of how well she writes, but she was quick to tell me that if we all wrote the same then the world would be boring. Which is true.

So to conclude this post. If you havent, check her out. send her an ask, and get to know the amazing person who runs @cordeliawhohung. You won't regret it.

Also be kind to your fanfiction writers, they do this without pay. For YOUR entertainment. Reblog, like, share, interact with them. They write 100+k fics because they love the same characters as you. They write the works that some people need, that they crave, all on their own time. Be appreciatve and understanding when they do upload and when they can't. They're humans too. Be kind to them. Dont demand things from them.

im an artist with a main focus in character design and concept art, though i do illustrations too. i love my ocs so thats what i draw most of the time. id advise against following me for fandom stuff other than lotf but i do reblog some animanga things and other media i like from time to time. i use this blog as a catchall for my art, yapping, and reblogs, so beware.

if youre coming from the lotf fandom, hi. so heres the deal. i used to draw the lotf characters, but eventually my designs and hcs for them became so complex and removed from the novel that i decided to make them ocs. theyre called the island kids. you can look at their refs and read about them by clicking that link. i long for them to eventually be their own characters apart from lotf, but i understand that they still look and act similarly to the lotf characters, and seeing as they literally evolved from them, they can pretty much be treated as the same thing. thats why im here. i still engage with the fandom normally, but when i draw the "lotf characters" im really drawing the island kids. apologies if thats highly confusing, dont worry. im still confused myself.

if youre here for oc content, hi. i have way too many projects to possibly keep track of so id suggest to not even try. if youre interested in any particular project feel free to ask and i will spill the beans all over your counter. i dont really have a hierarchy of projects as my focus switches constantly but in general the island kids and catwog are on top. im also a big fan of making gijinkas so youll probably see a lot of those from me too. i aspire to be a character designer / concept artist one day and making ocs have always kind of been an outlet for me to hone that skill. i treat them like my babies. i hope you will like them as much as i do.
