Winter in Spring
Danny was not a spirit of the seasons, he didn't have any idea if those kinds of spirits existed out of movies, what he did know was that for some reason the flowers were behaving rather strangely in one particular dimension right at the beginning of spring. And although he certainly didn't want to affect the place he knew he had to investigate it.
From what it seemed: strange plants that glowed just like those born in the Infinite Realms were appearing in Gotham and coming to life on their own. At first he suspected Undergrowth but the Ancient was offended by the accusation and commented that he was too busy in his haunt to care about a random city. Which turned out to be true.
Then he thought that maybe it was fine: the bright flowers seemed harmless (although they were very very...alive?) and didn't hurt anyone. That was until a red-haired girl seemed to upset them and they started attacking everyone around them; unfortunately, because they were ghost flowers they could dodge attacks very easily and the "heroes" couldn't defend themselves.
So, with no other options Danny traveled to Gotham and well, to put it simply he became a fake winter spirit; what else was he supposed to do? He needed an alibi and to spread ice as quickly as possible. Telling Gothamites that winter was coming early because of him was the least of his problems.
What he didn't expect was that after turning the city into a wasteland of ice and snow (and saving them from the invasion of ghost flowers, you're welcome), some guys in bat suits would start following him around with questions. He also didn't expect one of them to stare at him and ask if he'd be back in winter, he wondered if faking his identity was a good idea.

★”Devil's hour. A peculiar phenomenon that occurs at dusk refers to the fact that in the evening when the sun has not yet set in the west, the light blurs the outline of the world, and it is said that people will easily encounter things that do not exist in this world.”
★"Because it appears in the alternation of day and night, it is regarded as a blurred zone between the virtual and the real, the ancients believed that it was the intersection of the two worlds of yin and yang, and Director Tim introduced believed it as the intersection of the two dimensions."
★"The rabbit hole is actually a kind of passage connecting two worlds, the white rabbit comes from the dream, Alice comes from reality, and their encounter is because the magic moment opens the passage of the dream."
Chapter 3 - Devil's hour
"Alice in Wonderland?"
"Yes, but I'm not going to follow the original storyline, because the original book is too classic to be surpassed, and I want to make a science fiction mixed with fantasy movie."
Alice in Wonderland It iswas a fantasy novel with the theme of "dream". However, the overall story is was very TONEtwisted, but it has also become a well-known classic. However, this type seems to be incompatible with the logical "science fiction", at least Amisa is Think so.thought so
Director Tim(Tim導) smiled and took a bite of the biscuits on the table: "It seems that you have some doubts~ Do you know about the serial car accident that happened in the Civic Square last month?"
"Yes, it happened to happen on the night of my birthday, the news said. Everyone suddenly fell asleep halfway through, and then seemed to say that they dreamed.... White Castle?"
"Yes, tell you something." Director Tim took a sip of coffee, feeling a little bitter and astringent, and decided to add some syrup and creammilk Jing: "I was there at the time."
"Huh? Did Director Tim also dream of a castle?"
"Of course, I came out of the government building and saw the majestic crystal castle with my own eyes. In addition, there are were silver trees and many floating desserts. I danced with the desserts to with the music, only to wake up and find myself sleeping on the sidewalk~ Hehehehehe!"
"Sleeping on...the sidewalk?" Amisa's eye brows couldn't help frowning: "It's a very magical experience, so are you planning to make Alice dreaming about the of a castle?"
Director Tim showed a smug expression: "Hmph, it's not just that, during the month after it happened, we After investigatedting a lot of information about the incident, I found a phenomenon very similar to that at the time, a ghost legend from Japan, called Devil's hour.."
" Devil… what ...?"
"Devil's hour." (逢魔時刻)Tim stirred the poured syrup and cream with coffee, and the original calm liquid scattered many outlinesas the coffee waved in colorful layers, which became blurred: "a strange phenomenon in the evening refers to that when the sun has not yet set in the west, the light blurs the outline of the world. It is said that people will easily encounter things that do not exist in the world at this time, that is..."
"Ghosts." Yuen(宇恩) followed Tim's words wisely and sipped his coffee with a smile on his face.
"... what..." Hearing the word "ghost", Amisa could not help getting goose bumps all over her body while sipping a few sips of coffee. In fact, she was afraid of supernatural things.
Tim poured finished out his coffee with a sigh of satisfaction. "There are various explanations on the castle incident network. Some people think that it is a beautiful illusion created by car atching a car accident for a dead ghost who looked for scapegoat. Some people say that it is a precursor for ghosts to travel at night. But I also have a set of explanations."
"What kind of explanation is it?"
"coughCough! Let me ask, according to your feeling, where do you think the castle comes from?"
"... your heart." Amisa casually replied when she lifted the iced coffee, only to see Tim nodding with satisfaction, "You're right."
"Eh?" The original coffee cup stoppedpaused in the air.
"To be correct, it should be the psychology of each of us. I think the White Castle is real. What doesn't exist in this world is not limited to ghosts and monsters. It can also come from other worlds, a magical world that we usually don't realize."
Amisa frowned and asked, "eh... Ddirector Tim mean that you didn't dream, but accidentally broke into other worlds?"
Yuen also added the explanation: "yes, the Devil's hour is regarded as a fuzzy zone between the virtual and the real because it appears at the turn of day and night. The ancients thought it was the intersection of yin and Yang, while Tim thought it was the intersection of two dimensions."
Tim continued to explain: "if the world also has its own reality and dreams, they may be separated by a dimensional wall. Every time the Devil's hour of day and night, the wall will become very weak, resulting in the mixing of the two worlds, resulting in the castle illusion. This is my point of view."
"LogicLogically still sounds a little strange... Ah! sorry I'm a little straight..." When she found that she had made another mistake, Amisa quickly bowed to apologize.
"Ha ha! I have also been roast by netizens! But I believe you can interpret it."
"Me?"
"Yes, just like the castle illusion, the rabbit hole is actually a channel connecting the two worlds. The white rabbit comes from the dream, and Alice comes from the reality. Their meeting isy met because the magic moment opens the channel of the dream.
So when Alice finds found Mr. White Rabbit, she will feelfelt curious, confused and uneasy, just like you now." Director Tim added Yuen's newly poured coffee towith the syrup again and filled finish it in one breathgo
"This is not a fairy tale, but the ultimate film that combines science fiction and fantasy. With your special charm, Alice is your character!" Director Tim stood up excitedly and put his hands on Amisa's shoulder.

THE A.T.O.M. CREATE A KAIJU CONTEST 3-D!!!
YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE SAFE!  YOU THOUGHT THAT THE TIME OF MONSTERS WAS AT AN END!  BUT YOU WERE WRONG, FOR NOW YOU MUST WITNESS…
THE A.T.O.M. CREATE A KAIJU CONTEST 3-D!!!
That’s right, it’s back!  Celebrating the publication of The Atomic Time of Monsters Volume 2: Tyrantis Roams the Earth! (which in turn completes The Ballad of Tyrantis arc for this series), I’m holding another monster design jam.  The third of such jams, in fact!
Like the first A.T.O.M. Create a Kaiju Contest, the aim of this contest is to create kaiju that would fit within the setting of my big kaiju story series, The Atomic Time of Monsters.  Think of it as me letting you into my sandbox to play with my toys for a bit, or like you’re being put in the director’s chair of a new ATOM-verse kaiju movie.  That means your entry does have to fit into ATOM’s world, which in turn means that yes, there are limitations to your creativity here.  But limitations can be good sometimes - they can make us explore options we wouldn’t consider when given completely free rein to do what we want!
(also you don’t have to make a three dimensional image or anything, the title’s just a pun on how the third movie in a monster movie franchise will often be a 3-D film)
Read below the cut to learn the rules and whatnot:
THE RULES:
1.  You are limited to one entry per person.  Work hard and make your entry count!
2.  Your kaiju must have some sort of description of its physical appearance and its personality - you can submit a drawing or a written description (or both!) for the physical appearance depending on what you’re most comfortable with.  Using the same template/format as my official ATOM Kaiju Files (https://horrorflora.com/monster-menageries/atom-kaiju-files/) isn’t required, but it was cool when people did it in the last contest, so feel free to do so this time too!
3. The kaiju you create must specifically be created for this contest  - no repurposing characters you made for other, wildly different stories.  This is not “trick TT into drawing/canonizing my main OC” time.
4. The kaiju must fit the setting and aesthetics of ATOM.  I’ll explain this in more detail down below.
5. The kaiju should add something meaningful to the world of ATOM. The more unique and interesting your kaiju is, the more likely you will win the contest.
6. Don’t make your kaiju too dependent on pre-existing ATOM characters - no “Tyrantis’s long lost evil brother who’s the strongest kaiju in the world.” These should be to Tyrantis’s story what War of the Gargantuas is to Godzilla’s movies – heroes (well, monsters) of another story in the same world.
THE REWARDS:
I will make pencil sketches of the top 5 entries in the contest.
I will then make fully rendered illustrations (lineart, colors, & shading) of the top three entries.
The winning entry will be made into a model ala the ones I’ve been making for ATOM’s core 50 monsters, which can then be shipped to the person who created it (should they be able to cover the shipping costs).  That’s right, your kaiju could be brought to life in THREE GLORIOUS TECHNICOLOR DIMENSIONS!  (Hey, we worked the gag title in to the prizes!)
THE DEADLINE: All entries must be submitted by July 3rd, 2021.  You can submit it here on tumblr, via the horror flora e-mail, or any other channel you know how to reach me through.  I’m in a lot of places.
THE GUIDELINES (TO HELP YOUR ENTRY FIT THE RULES AND WIN):
The smartest thing you could do if you want to win this contest is familiarize yourself with the world of ATOM by, y’know, reading all the material I’ve published on the subject.  In addition to the many kaiju files that are free to read on horrorflora.com, there are now TWO, count ‘em, TWO novels in this series for you to peruse, both of which establish many of the rules of the setting as well as its general themes and tone!  You can get them in either paperback or e-book formatting (I’d recommend the former over the latter since I lack the technology to make a really nice ebook, but if money is an object, the kindle version is only $1).  Here’s the links again if you missed them:
Vol. 1: Tyrantis Walks Among Us!
Vol. 2: Tyrantis Roams the Earth!
However, since I know reading a bunch of stuff is, y’know, not something everyone is inclined to do, I’ll jot some good bullet points for you in an attempt to outline how ATOM works in a brief, easily digested way:
ATOM is an homage to the monster fiction of the 1950’s and 60’s (i.e. the Atomic Age), and is set in those two decades, albeit an alternate universe version of them where, y’know, monsters and space aliens exist.  If you aren’t familiar with the monster fiction I’m referring to, there will be some reference material provided at the end of this post along with some recommendations for further research.
Kaiju/giant monsters in ATOM work under very specific rules.  There’s a full description of those rules at this link, but here’s the jist:
ATOM Kaiju are created created by the radiation of a mineral called Yamaneon, which naturally converts harmful radiation into its own unique energy.  In natural circumstances, it takes hundreds of years of exposure to Yamaneon radiation for a creature to become fully transform into a kaiju (luckily, Yamaneon radiation slows the aging process while speeding up the healing process).  However, an explosive burst of energy - such as the geothermal and kinetic energy released by an earthquake, or the blast of a nuclear weapon - can speed up the process, turning a normal animal into a kaiju within a matter of seconds.
All ATOM kaiju can heal grievous wounds within minutes or even seconds, are supernaturally strong and durable, and can convert harmful radiation to harmless energy that they then feed off of.  Kaiju do not have an equivalent of old age, and can theoretically live forever (though their violent lifestyle means that few do).
ATOM Kaiju generally don’t need to eat unless they are severely injured, getting most of the energy they need from solar or geothermal radiation - but many still have instincts that drive them to seek out food from time to time.
Most ATOM kaiju stand roughly 100 feet tall (depending on their body shape), i.e. smaller than the original 1954 Godzilla.  There are exceptions to this rule - younger kaiju can be smaller, while exceedingly old kaiju can be significantly larger, but these are rare.
In general, ATOM kaiju are significantly more intelligent and emotionally complex than people expect animals to be, though most are incapable of speech or complex tool use.  There’s a reason ATOM Kaiju Files have a “personality” section.
Most ATOM Kaiju are tooth and claw fighters - ranged weapons are a rarity in this setting.
While the terrestrial monsters in ATOM look strange, they are intended to fit within the taxonomy of animals in reality - reptiles, mammals, fish, arthropods, molluscs, etc.
ATOM’s mesozoic era was dominated by a fictional clade of crocodile-relatives called retrosaurs, which are based on the outdated paleoart that one would find in the 1950’s/60’s fiction - i.e. when dinosaurs were viewed as trail dragging lizards instead of strange birds.  You can learn more about retrosaurs here (https://horrorflora.com/2016/11/15/atom-kaiju-file-bonus-a-guide-to-retrosaurs/).
Kaiju appear on every continent in ATOM, but certain areas tend to be dominated by different types.
North America is mainly besieged by retrosaur kaiju and giant arthropods.
East Asia is technically also mainly plagued by retrosaurs and big arthropods, though they tend to look more fantastical and mythic - and, often, oddly well suited to being portrayed by a person wearing a monster suit.
Russia is beset by prehistoric monsters that seem to come from the Cenozoic, particularly the Ice Age.
Western Europe is plagued by creatures that vaguely resemble creatures from myth, if they were also prehistoric.  Dragon-y lizards, fiery birds, etc.
Towards the mid-way point of ATOM’s timeline, earth is invaded by a coalition of aliens from different solar systems called the Beyonder Alliance, and as a result a bunch of alien monsters can be found on earth.
Mars and Venus both host (or hosted in Mars’s case) animal life.  The surviving Martians colonized Venus, and sent some of their kaiju guardians to earth to help us fend off the Beyonders (who are responsible for the destruction of Mars’s ecosystem).  Martian and Venusian kaiju have specific anatomical quirks, which you can see by looking at these kaiju files:
Venusians:
https://horrorflora.com/2017/01/03/atom-kaiju-file-29-karamtor/
Martians:
https://horrorflora.com/2017/01/17/atom-kaiju-file-39-kemlasulla/
https://horrorflora.com/2017/01/17/atom-kaiju-file-40-podritak/
https://horrorflora.com/2017/01/17/atom-kaiju-file-41-sombarvot/
https://horrorflora.com/2017/01/17/atom-kaiju-file-38-ullawdra/
Giant robots exist in ATOM, but are big, bulky, and incredibly expensive.  Fancy beam weapons also exist, but are similarly clunky - there are no sleek, elegant machines in ATOM.
Since the fiction ATOM takes inspiration from was made at a time when interplanetary travel was only just beginning to be possible, its scope is significantly smaller than modern sci-fi.  Alternate universes/dimensions were pretty uncommon because the idea of alien planets still held a lot of wonder to it.  So, as a general rule, don’t try to go farther than the one galaxy.
ATOM is a setting for stories that are focused on humanity learning to coexist with monsters, rather than humanity destroying them.  A certain level of sympathy is put into almost every creature of its canon, even the ones that are meant to be villains.
REFERENCE MATERIAL
Here is a playlist of 1950′s monster movie trailers.
Here is some reference material from various monster comics of the 50′s and 60′s.
Good movies to track down to understand ATOM’s inspiration and tone include Ghidorah the 3 Headed Monster, Son of Godzilla, Destroy All Monsters, Them!, The Black Scorpion, 20 Million Miles to Earth, Gamera, The Giant Claw, and The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra.
And here’s the intro cutscenes for all the different giant monsters in the PS2 videogame War of the Monsters.

(Here, have a hells studio fic idea: Sammy's reaction and frustration to getting sweetvoice thanks to Benrey)
For the record I’m calling this crossover: Hell’s Life Studio, VR but the AI are causing supernatural bullshit.
Honestly, Sammy Lawrence could rationalize why Joey would hire a security guard.
In fact, if he did hire Benry, the music director might consider it one of Joey’s more logical and reasonable ideas, he even wondered why the animator didn’t do it much sooner.
In addition to the normal reasons why an animation studio or other work place in general would hire security guards, due to the magical nature of the studio and some of it’s inhabitants, if any average Joe walked off the street into the building, everything would turn to chaos.
Newspaper reporters would come at the studio like vultures to a fresh kill, Joey would be demonized as some sort of Satan worshiping lunatic who'd happily sacrifice his employees' humanity for the sake of his success, the toons would get captured by the government and probably get dissected... And heaven forbid what would happen if by accident, someone who wasn't that familiar with the studio and it's magical ink got caught in the ‘splash zone’.
So when Mr. BENRY BENRY BENRY BENRY BENRY BENRY BENRY BENRY BENRY BENRY BENR... came up to him and his coworkers asking to see their passports, Sammy was mildly annoyed by this new guard's rude demeanor, but didn't think much of him other than 'Oh fuck, I guess I'll have to carry my passport to work now, I guess'.
Except, there was one problem; Joey didn’t hire Benry at all. He was just some random guy in a guard uniform (that didn't even have the studio's logo on it at all) who showed up one day and the studio was so weird that people just either didn't care much for another weird thing going on or had came to the same logic-based conclusion that Sammy did.
Scratch that, there were two problems: Benry wasn't exactly human and while he looked like he was, any normal person off the street who wasn't unfazed by the supernatural could automatically tell that he wasn't. As the guard wasn't particularly interested at hiding his otherworldly nature.
Now, in a place like the studio where people experience magical shenanigans almost weekly and have an honest to god living cartoon character as a boss, a dimension-hopping, skeleton summoning, security guard who shits in urinals and may or may not be an eldritch horror god is completely... well, not exactly normal per say, but it's not like the employees would scream and clutch their pearls at the slightest signs of abnormality in their line of work.
The studio had a tendency to dismiss pretty much anything in their workplace that they knew for a fact was not a normal thing as the Ink's fault.
New security guard is phasing through the walls? Must've gotten caught in an ink shower. He hasn't talked to Joey about it? Well, phasing through the walls at will could be useful for his job, nobody's really planning on nagging him about making Joey 'change him back'.
Said guard is hovering in the middle of the break room with his legs and arms rimrod straight and the latter outstretched (in a pose the man had described as 'T-posing' later.)? Must've walked into a ritual by accident and is having fun with it. Some people are just better sports about the weirdness of the studio than others are.
Benry's ...singing? And multicolored orbs are flying out of his mouth? And the blue orbs have the ability to calm people down when they hit them? Again, weird, nobody's really sure why or how the ink did THAT to him. But then again nobody also knew why or how the ink could turn people into cartoon animals and brought inanimate objects to life other than "it's magic".
"Hey, you're not supposed to be in here."
The monotone voice of the security guard droned as Sammy opened the door to his own office.
"Son of a-" The musician took in a sharp inhale and turned to face Benry. "Good morning Benry, are you here to check my passport again for the forty-eighth time in a row or just to cause problems?"
"Wha? I'm not causing any problems. Are you trying to cause problems? Because I'll have to escort you off the premises if you do."
"I WORK here Benry, you saw me conducting the band five minutes ago."
"Yeah... that kinda sounds like bullshit bro. I'm gonna need to check your passport just to make sure."
"Ugh, fine.."
Sammy rifled through his pockets as the ceiling above the pair creaked ominously, making Sammy rifle through his pockets faster as he knew what that meant.
"Not gonna lie, you're looking kinda... you're looking kinda suspicious rn. You got something to hide? What are you trying to hide?"
"BENRY! CAN'T YOU SEE THAT THE CEILING IS ABOUT TO-"
Before Sammy could finish what he was saying, the ceiling crashed down on both of them.
"Ugh... Shit..." Benry emerged from the rubble and fished out the limp music director out of it as well. "You ok there bro?"
As Sammy was unconscious, he didn't respond.
"Fuck, you don't look ok at all... Looks like you need some CPR there, good thing I'm trained by professionals, hang tight."
Benry laid the musician flat on a piece of the floor that wasn't obscured by rubble and opened Sammy's mouth while firing a teal-green heal beam into it with the Black Mesa Sweet Voice. What? He knew better than to cheat on Feetman by smooching a married man, especially while he was in the dark ages where PS4s don't exist and being gay is illegal and pretty much punishable by death.
Sammy lurched back to life coughing his lungs out as the inside of his throat felt like it was oiled, set on fire, and extinguished with sand. Luckily for him, he otherwise felt perfectly fine albeit shaken up by almost being crushed to death.
"Oh cool, you're not dead. So, about that passport..."
"Benry, what the FuuuAAAAAAaAAAaAAAaaaAAaAAaaAaaaaaaaAAAAAaaaAAAAAAAAaAAAaaAAAA!"
Both men jumped back in surprise as a beam of brightly colored orbs flew out of Sammy's mouth starting of in teal (usually means 'need meal' but here Benry was certain that in this context it meant surprise), teal-to-white (I'm struck with fright), white-to-red (filled with dread.), and red-to-dark blue (I FUCKING HATE YOU!).
"Uh.. Wow, rude." Benry smacked his lips. "I just, I just saved your life back there, there's no need to talk to me like that."
Sammy's eye twitched as he stared at him dead in the eyes and chucked his passport in Benry's face before heading up to Joey's office to ask him where he found this guy and why the fuck did he hire this guy.

Ouija, Origin of Evil and the profane voice - Part I
Tumblr media
Though extremely shocking and disturbing, children happen to be at the core of major horror films. Samara in The Ring (2002), Dalton in Insidious (2010), Dany and the Grady twins in The Shining (1980), the children in Sinister (2012), Thomas in The Orphanage (2007) are among many other examples that prove the existence of an entire branch of horror cinema built on the mythology of the malevolent child. Why is the figure of the child so prevalent? Why should the most innocent and purest human beings be the main characters of films that are  gruesome, violent and whose public age is strictly restricted? Precisely because their vulnerability and purity of soul make them easily influenced and manipulated by external forces. Besides, children are known to have an overwhelming imagination and a propensity to trust which are necessary to open the boundaries between the worlds of the living and the dead in accordance with the codes of the genre.
Tumblr media
In addition to this, the more the prey is opposite to our expectations and subverts our beliefs of what is proper and what is not, the more the fright and fascination are potent. To consider a child as a monster, a killer or a possessed body is beyond our general understanding, hence the uncanny appeal of creepy children.
As pointed out by Alison Nastasi in her article published online on Hopes&Fears, this devious appeal for corrupted and murderous children portrayed in horror films might echo to « real-world fears about parenting, gender and social responsibility. »; a theory supported by Joe Dante’s comments about the subject : « Could it be connected to the fact that more and more parents have difficulty balancing work responsibilities [and] child-rearing (not to speak of nurturing their own relationships, personal and career aspirations) and are squeezed financially by the costs of raising children […]? Therefore, is it any wonder that children in genre movies are portrayed as powerful, disruptive, and uncontrollable? Perhaps these menacing moppet movies reflect the fears inherent in helicopter parenting—that the minute you take your eyes off your child, something dreadful will happen. » In any case, the films in question use the creepy kid trope in order to suggest that something is wrong, that the natural order of things is being shattered.
Tumblr media
The corruption of innocence can take many forms but the most interesting one to study in relation to the narrative role of the voice in cinema is the threat of an invasion from the Beyond. In Ouija: Origin of Evil (2016), supernatural forces hold a young girl hostage by inhabiting her body and making it go through such transformations (vocal and physical) as to change it beyond recognition.
Tumblr media
Taking place in 1967 in Los Angeles, Ouija: Origin of Evil tells the story of the Danzer family. Alice, a spiritual medium, is striving to make ends meet after the loss of her husband and father of her two children by hosting readings in her own house with the help of her daughters, Lina (15) and Doris (9). Running a declining scam business, in which Alice pretends to talk to the dead to bring closure to people and the girls help her out with tricks intended to make it all real, Lina suggests her mother to add a ouija board as a new prop to modernise her readings. The factitious dimension of the ritual which unfolds through the display of ingenious devices (stretchable table, a cupboard big enough to hide Doris, extinguishable candles…) is both an ironical comment on how fake spiritism is going to beat the family at their own game by revealing its true power and also a cleverly designed introduction to set the tone and build the tension.
All the ingredients are here to turn the ouija experience into a nightmare. The bereaved family is craving for a contact whatsoever with their loved one, little Doris first. She wishes she could talk to her father at a seance like other people do when they come and see her mother for help, that is why she does not talk to god directly but instead send prayers to her dad every night before going to bed. Contrary to Lina who is a teenager in complete denial and pushes down her feelings, Alice and Doris seek communication and are open to it, hence the evil befalling on them.
Tumblr media
Portrayed as an angelic but lonely and bullied girl who is deeply grieving her father and believes in the blurry frontiers between the worlds of the living and the dead, Doris becomes the perfect human and tangible vessel through which supernatural forces can express themselves. All starts with the introduction of the ouija board as a prop into the house and with Alice breaking the three rules which are to never play alone, in a graveyard and never forget to say goodbye. At this very moment, Doris becomes inhabited by Marcus’s spirit whose identity is yet to be defined. How does this possession first transpire? Through speaking. Marcus uses Doris’s voice to start materializing and, as soon as she touches the board, the voices appear all around her, thus enabling the world of the Beyond to let in.
Doris is progressively attracted by the ouija board which makes her believe she is talking to her father, Roger. They are deceitful spirits who do everything to earn her trust to better trap her, hence the hint at the money buried in the cellar. Contrary to Lina who is far from being fooled, Alice thinks her youngest child is gifted and asks her for help. As the readings follow one another, the trap is closing in around Doris who starts feeling pain in her neck at the same time she excels in the occult. She can now reproduce the voice of the deceased summoned during the seance.
Once she is fully possessed, Doris first goes through a radical physical and behavior transformation by becoming lethargic, stolid, her eyes often turned white when no one is watching her. Besides, her vocal abilities also go through creepy changes. In addition to mimic the deceased’s voice during the readings, adults’ voices, Doris keeps whispering in people’s ears in a demonic way when the evil entity starts spreading its malevolent influence on the whole family.
Tumblr media
When the film reaches its climax and Doris fully assumes the devil’s voice, which is guttural, otherworldly and distorted by hatred, she no longer is a young innocent child. Marcus’s spirit corrupts and perverts Doris to achieve revenge by desecrating her body and soul and making her utter bloodcurdling things. The scene which most epitomizes the figure of the violated child is when Doris explains step by step to Lina’s boyfriend how it feels like to be strangled to death. The most uncomfortable thing about it is to witness the contrast between what she says and the sweet voice in which she says it with an angelic smile on her face. The mise-en-scène that keeps stressing Doris’s vocal changes, by shooting her facing the camera (or the fourth wall) as if she was already part of the Beyond, is meant to emphasize the element through which she is channelling these powers and forces : the mouth.
youtube
The mouth as an organic element  stands as a kind of leitmotiv throughout the film inasmuch as the possession of Doris’s body and soul by the demonic entity is made complete through that means. One night, Doris is awakened by her pain in the neck and gets assaulted by a dark creature who thrusts his devilish arm into her throat. This shadowy creature, one can notice, has no mouth or rather a distorted sewed one, similar to Lina’s mouth when she looks at herself in the mirror one night. At the light of these elements, what was supposed to be a nightmare was in fact real and prophetic.
Tumblr media
But what can be the meaning of the recurring imagery of the sealed mouth (see  also Lina’s doll)? Who is Marcus? Why is he portrayed as an evil spirit? What does he want from Doris and her family? He clearly states his purpose when trying to possess Lina’s soul : to snatch her voice.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Father Tom Hogan, a friend of the family, is the one who uncovers the ugly truth behind Doris’s pretended benevolent gift of clairvoyance. She is not channelling good forces but Marcus’s spirit, a man who happened to have been mutilated and murdered in this house a few decades ago. After the second world war, a twisted nazi doctor, called the devil’s doctor in the camps, escaped to America where he succeeded to get hired in a mental institution. He went on practicing his sadistic experiments on patients in the basement of his house. In order to do it, he cut out their tongues, severed their vocal cords and sewed their mouths so that no one could hear them from above. However, Marcus’s story does not end with his death. Violently murdered, he never rested in peace but instead was doomed to wander in the cold darkness of the underworld among other desperate, voiceless souls and malevolent creatures who must have been summoned by the doctor who was into the occult.
In the end, Marcus, who has been silenced by force, deprived of his own voice and overtaken by the surrounding evil influence in the Beyond, seeks revenge against god and people who have the ability to express themselves, eaten away as he is by hatred, frustration and pain. The only way for him to exorcise the horrible things he has been through is to communicate and hurt others, but for that a voice and a body are needed, hence his attempts to snatch the family’s voices. That is the only way to be heard and to have an influence outside his doomed world. Helped by her father’s good spirit, Lina grabs needle and thread and silences her sister for ever,  thus fighting hard against the entity who strives to engulf her.
Tumblr media
Ouija, Origin of Evil, like many other horror films, uses the voice and its communicative powers as narrative tools to address issues and challenge notions such as grief, loss, family unity, parenting, revenge, alternative beliefs, suffering, innocence, corruption, violation and religion. Religion…such a crucial theme whose set of practices and beliefs makes it the most cherished subject of the genre. Any idea which emblematic film is yet to be analyzed in the perspective of the profane voice and corruption of innocence?

I'M HERE TO YELL ABOUT THE WEREMOLES AGAIN THEY'RE REALLY AMAZING AND INTERESTING AND UNIQUE AND I LOVE THEM
-While a lot of the other Changing Breeds all dislike each other for one reason or another, or at best just don't interact, the moldwarps actually had it in their laws to aid their cousins in their respective duties for which Gaia created each of them, but -- "Killing Sceatha with the Garou, allowing Ratkin to travel to Run’s End, or showing the Moldwarp Burrows to other Breeds’ Kinfolk all fall outside of the realms of acceptable aid." CLEARLY THE RATKIN DID SOMETHING LIKE I HAVE NO DOUBT THERE IS GOOD REASON FOR THAT RULE (the wererats are chaos incarnate and I love them) -k so there is basically a trinity of spirits in this setting, the Triat---the Wyld, the Weaver, the Wyrm. Generally speaking, everyone is fighting the Wyrm and sometimes also the Weaver. But the moldwarps seek true balance between all three. And there's a small group of them called Apes Redeemers who want to basically exorcise the Weaver AND Wyrm out of human beings--- "Redeemers take humans in direct service to the Weaver, or with strong behavioural traits in its favour, and attempt to cleanse them through a mixture of psychological abuse, isolation, and repurposed rites. Freethinking Moldwarps shun this Hill’s ideals as quite beyond the pale, but Redeemers hold up examples of humans who have been forced into bestial states of primitive regression, the Weaver’s hold utterly stripped away, as evidence that their methods are in fact effective." (The Weaver is like...organization, society, technology, tools, etc. Normal humans are very much Weaver creatures.) - AW BUT THERE ARE ALSO PLAGUE DOCTOR MOLDWARPS WHO GO TO DISEASE RIDDEN AREAS TO TREAT PEOPLE - In addition to being the jailers of Gaia, they are also the undertakers, burying the dead of other creatures - There are different “Warrens” or types of weremole, based on their role in weremole society and the jobs they have. Most notable to me are the Cleansers and the Wardens. Cleansers “strive to emulate the motherly aspect of Gaia in all that they do. Calm and considerate, their lot is to cure the fallen, correcting their spiritual bearing and keeping them healthy during their stay in the Den. Sadly, despite their caring natures, Cleansers make for arguably the worst weremoles to act as the face of a Sett while interacting with other Fera. Speaking of tainted beings as patients needing treatment wins few friends in the wider shapeshifter community, and Cleansers find it difficult to adjust to the more punitive mindset broadly shared by most Fera.” “ They act as their communities’ confidants and carers, conduits for the worries, stresses, and strains which would otherwise hinder important work” “ Passionate and creative both in conflict and at peace, Cleansers tend to the Burrows’ feeding, nursing, and childrearing tasks outside of their main duties” “ Most Cleansers adopt a calm and measured persona following their Vision Crawl, and are incredibly difficult to infuriate.” Whereas the Wardens are “the closest thing a Burrow has to a standing force of warriors” and “the least empathic of all Warrens. Where Cleansers are the good cops, the Wardens are their counterparts, expected to keep Sceatha in line by any means necessary for them to be successfully rehabilitated. They embody force, conviction, and authority, and are granted Gifts which reflect such qualities in order to contain and recover the corrupted.” “ these Moles are tough, courageous, and stoic. These qualities are much called upon, for it is their burden to contain, monitor, and protect Sceatha held in captivity” “ Wardens embody intimidation, conviction, and authority in every action they take. This can sometimes be expressed with the exciting encouragement of an elder sibling, the sternness of a loving parent, or the detached professional attitudes of their human namesakes.” There are others, like Trackers and Diggers and Architects, but those are more concerned with burrowing tunnels or simply finding/retrieving Sceatha (Wyrm-tainted or otherwise corrupt creatures in need of healing/rehabilitation) rather than actually guarding and treating them, so they’re of less interest to me. The Diggers do also make tunnels in the Umbra, which is the spirit world, which is a pretty cool concept. - Their Homid (human) forms are as wonderfully unglamorous as moles themselves-- “ usually naturally heavy, with excessive body hair and poor eyesight. Their hands and feet are often disproportionately large compared to their small stature and otherwise short limbs, but for these physical shortfalls they make up with greater levels of strength, health, smell, hearing, and directional coordination” A far cry from the ridiculously sexy werewolf boyfriends of paranormal romance fiction. Love it. They also typically have jobs in sanitation or rehabilitation-- “ These individuals find employment as city planners, prison guards and wardens, subway and sewer maintenance operatives, and similar jobs focused around organisation, rehabilitation, and the conservation of resources both material and human. It’s a rare occurrence that an up-and-coming track athlete or singer enters the Vision Crawl.” Again, love it. - Their Crinos form (the hybrid form or “war form”) is HORRIFYING-- “ a large amalgamation of mole and human standing at 7 feet tall and over 80 stone in weight, a hunched monster which could never exist in the natural order of the surface world [. . .] twisted faces and sightless eyes [. . .] Knife-like teeth protrude along the length of their muzzles and shovelling claws grow from each clubbed hand” - Most wereanimals are weak to silver. Some varieties are weak to gold. But weremoles are weak to obsidian and other black gems. - Unlike most wereanimals, moldwarps can become vampires, and these unfortunate creatures are called The Baogane, also known as Bugbears. They are the saddest things I have ever heard of. “ The existence of a Baogane poses burning questions to her Sett. Should she receive an honourable Final Death and be given over to Gaia? Should she be put through arduous cleansing in the small hope it works? Or, more dubiously, should she be allowed to serve the Burrow eternally? Setts who are unfortunate enough to lose one of their own to a Leech make their own decisions on what to do with their fallen kin.” “ Baoganes look similar to how they did in life, save for their fangs being unnaturally long even for vampires. In Crinos form, these fangs splay out either side of their face to resemble the curved tusks of a boar, and sometimes punch through the flesh of their gums and lips. The fur of all forms - even Homid hair - becomes permanently sharp, coarse, and patchy, again similar to that of a boar.” “ Soil does not merely cling to the fur and skin of a Bugbear as it would to any other subterranean creature, but latches on with supernatural power, reflecting the earth’s desire to see such a monster dead and buried. Over the space of but a few nights, the Moldwarp may become so covered in filth and earthen debris that her size and shape cannot be discerned.” “ Baoganes often spend their unlives trapped within cleansing chambers, awaiting rehabilitation that may never come without their much-sought-after destruction. Many are granted the Thing of Salvation, though some willing penitents are denied even that.” The “Thing of Salvation” of course, is final death. The weremoles call very important ceremonies or celebrations, Things. Thing of Deliverance, Thing of the Hill, etc. - I honestly can’t overstate how new and crazy it is they wish to rehabilitate the Wyrm-tainted and save the Wyrm itself. For DECADES the entire point of this game has been FUCK UP THE WYRM’S SHIT. The Wyrm has always been the ultimate evil, even more so than the Weaver who is technically the one at fault for it going crazy, and EVERY wereanimal has had “destroy the Wyrm’s servants” in their own laws. And yet in the weremole’s laws, you’re NOT allowed to kill Sceatha unless your own life is threatened---” Sceatha are not of sound mind and so do not deserve unnecessary harm, irrespective of their most vile actions; only once they are cured are they to be judged as independent beings by the rest of the world. If that judgment is death, then they must be returned to Gaia without delay. Destroying befouled artefacts out of hand, meanwhile, is wasteful and disrespectful of their already-violated spirits.” Like this is just...so out of line from EVERY OTHER WERECREATURE it’s WILD, and it’s no wonder all the other critters are distrustful of them AT BEST. - So, Run’s End, that place they don’t ever let the Ratkin go? It sounds AMAZING, like so beautiful and spooky. It’s this realm “where death and decay occur, but peacefully and purely. This peace, however, is maintained only by the avid cleansing of its space by high-ranking Moldwarps, making it a nigh-impenetrable refuge of solemn deathliness suspended between zones of total corruption. Only by travelling along the Run, or traversing the turbulent dimensions held up by Run’s End to eventually find a border between worlds, may a being enter this place of pure, tranquil death. All is not quite as it should be, of course, for vicious battles constantly rage at the borders of Run’s End” “ The geography of Run’s End is reminiscent of an ancient Mayan jungle, at the heart of which stands a colossal obsidian temple to the Balance Wyrm, the structure in which the Lord of the Run resides beside his High Scrivein, Sanctus, and Thegn. This temple, the Body of Death, plays host to any great debate waged by high-Ranking Moldwarps, including each and every Althing. Around the Body of Death stretches the Fungal Forest, with mycelial growths a hundred metres tall stretching as far as the eye can see, generating natural luminescences of deep purple, dark red, and ochre green. From the unseen roof of the realm slowly descend all manner of remains - of humans, animals, plants, and even concepts, hopes, and dreams long forgotten - like snowflakes, landing gently atop the fungal canopy to be slowly digested. A fine film of red, brown, and green covers the undergrowth, having seeped down from the mushroom caps high above. Amongst these fungi are found equally decomposed but animate carrion beasts of all varieties lapping up the rotting fluids: insects, corvids, and Consumer Worms as long and thick as oak trunks winding amongst the mushroom stumps, soaking in the decay Despite its dire aspect, the fear of death for any being present in the Fungal Forest is simply absent; the fact that death comes for all is readily apparent, but comes as a comfort. Though not part of the Underworld proper, the Forest is a manifestation of final rest. From the gentle dripping of corpse-fluid to the slow undulation of the Consumer Worms, there is no violation or undue destruction in this Forest, only the equalising end of all things. Indeed, all beings who enter Run’s End begin decaying almost immediately; only those with some form of supernatural regeneration, or whose protection has been specifically petitioned for, may withstand it. Equally, the Body of Death allows only full-blooded Moldwarps to enter, with instant death and rapid decomposition coming to all others. At the Obsidian Reach, young and old Moldwarps alike dig to find something that they believe will bring them renown and acclaim, with no actual promise that anything lies beneath. The Obsidian Reach was actually discovered by the Gazers of the Deep during their very first visit. The Reach is infinitely high and wide and consists of solid obsidian, which naturally is almost unbreakable by Moldwarp standards. The stone itself bears the scratch marks and gouges of generations of claws trying to breach its shell. Beyond the stone’s infinite blackness, it has been told, are beings swept up in a storm mocking those who try to reach them, lands of shining cyclopean architecture, and even the resting bodies of mighty but unborn giants. Such claims are overlooked by all but the Gazers, but this does not prevent adventurers from ceaselessly trying to breach this inky vault.” LIKE THIS IS SO EERIE AND UNNERVING AND YET STRANGELY LOVELY AND SOOTHING TO ME? I AM REALLY LOVING MOLDWARP LORE

A Scientific Study of Why Egos, Sides, Alternate Selves and the Likes Can Exist
Many online personalities, such as Mark Fischbach, also known as Markiplier, and Thomas Sanders, have created characters that are branches of their own being as a way to spice up their videos and boost watch count. These 'Egos' are well loved by the communities surrounding the online personalities, and are often the inspiration for the creation of fan products such as art, books and games.
These 'Alternate Selves' can be confusing to those whom are new to the communites or have only just 'discovered them', but even to those who 'interact' with them on a daily basis still have questions as to the lore, physics and inner working of the character. Questions like, "How are they related to their creator?", "How did they come to be?", "What are they? Are they human? Or something else?" and "Why do they exist?". And while the answer to some of those may seem obvious form the perspective of someone who isn't interested in the inner workings, but answers like "Oh they aren't real" and "they're just characters, they exist cause that person put on a costume and talking in a different voice" aren't enough for those who are invested in these characters and their stories.
Now, today we will be covering the inner workings, the 'whys', 'whats', and 'hows' of these characters, covering the science and physics of why, and how they exist and what they are. The lore and individual workings of these characters is to be covered in several more articles. These will be labled under the basic title of "The Case of...." with each one covering one or a group of characters, the lore we know and possible theories to fill in any gaps. I will be using Mr Mark Fischbach's, Mr Sean McLoughlin's and Mr Thomas Sanders's 'Egos' and 'Sides' as my example in this since they are the one I know best. If there are other people with 'Egos', please point me in their direction so I can analyse them too.
There are several things these characters have in common going acros the board. As of this point in time, the 5th of May 2018, (date written not posted on the 21st of August, some information can be easily proven wrong due to recent developments. I will cover that in part 2 when I write it) these things are;
Each 'Ego' is an off branch of their creator's personality, mind or imagination
Each 'Ego' is designed to, while being physically the same as their creator, have vastly different style, appearance and personality to their creator
Each 'Ego' has a very different personality, no two are the same
And on a final note, the 'Egos' are able to interact with one another, no matter if they can/are physically manifest/ed outside of their creator or share a head and/or body with their creator
Aside from these facts, each creator has a different method of interacting and showcasing their 'Egos' . Examples being while Mr Fischbach has shown that his 'Egos' can interact with one another outside of his body and shown that they are their own people yet him at the same time, Sean McLoughlin, also known as Jacksepticeye, shows most his 'Egos' as having to use his body to become physical, taking control of his form and sharing his head whilst not in control until they they can manifest in their own body, like with Dr Henrik Von Schneeplestein in the latest video (as of May 5th 2018) he featured in.
Now that we have introduced the topic of disscusion and covered the across the board basics, we can get into the fun stuff. What are they? Well, there are four categories of classification; Figment, Personality, Paranormal and Look-a-Like. This now leads me to explain the traits an 'Ego' needs to be classed under one or two of these categories.
For an 'Ego' to be a Figment, they need to start off by sharing the body of their creator, or be a 'figment' of the creator's mind. This is shown with Mr Sean McLoughlin's 'Egos', with most of them being shown to gradually tke control of him in their debuts. Figments hide in the subconsious of their creators, or hosts, and are, in technical terms, a part of them until their host has built up enough energy to allow them and grants them, a part of his/her/their mind, to manifest, gain physical form. Before they are able to manifest, they can commnicate with each other and their host but it does leave their host with a painful headache that can render them incapable of moving until it has died down and gone away. Figments have the ability to take control of their hosts before they manifest. When a Figment takes control of their host, it is shown to cause variying amounts pain depending on the speed or suddenness of them taking over. For example, if a Figment takes control slowly and gradually, there will be less pain since the host has been give warning and in return has given the Figment permission to take the reigns. If the Figment take over suddenly with little warning or time for the host to stop them, it can cause a fair amount of pain, injury, sickness etc. The type of pain cause also vary depending on the personality and abilities of the Figment, for example, before Dr Henrik Von Schneeplestein manifested, his take over of Mr McLoughlin were with only a moment or two of warning and cause sickness such as a head or chest cold. However, in most cases, it doesn't take long for the host to gain the energy to allow them to manifest gain the energy needed to manifest, and with manifestation taking anywhere from three to nine months, Figments are usually very close to their host.
Personality catergoriezed 'Egos', commonly known as 'Sides' can be considered similar to Figments, being that both share the minds of their creators. However, unlike a Figment, a 'Side' can become seperate from their host. This category requires the 'Ego' to be a physical representation of an aspect of the creator's personality. An example of this is with Mr Thomas Sanders's 'Sanders Sides', a group of five characters played by himself that each represent an aspect of his personality. There are the four main 'Sides', Logan/Logic, Patton/Morality, Roman/Creativity and Virgil/Anxiety with the addition of Mr Thomas's only 'bad side' Deceit (name unrevealed as of May 5th, 2018). 'Sides' are used to help their creator find who they are or sort out emotional issues. These 'Sides' are able to do things humans can't, but it is not magic nor a supernatural power, it is because they can are of the mind, so what you see them do in our world is gone as soon as they return to the mind of their creator. These 'powers' are actually Dreams, illusions created by 'Sides' to help them show their creator how they can slove the issue or improve on their mental health. The 'Sides' will appear in the same way their corresponding trait does, for example the trait of Fear would slowly appear in the room using the choosen manner (e.g. rising in, fading in, etc) and leave in the same manner they came while the trait of Curiousity would spontainiously appear in the room out of nowhere and leave at a much slower pace, most likely hanging around as an afterthought in the creator's mind. Personality 'Sides' are the only category of 'Egos' that can't be double categorized, but can swap categories and become figments if the creator has a deep enough bond with them when something has cause them to change their main personality traits.
Paranormal are perhaps the most powerful 'Egos'. They need not their creator to survive nor do they share the body or mind of their creator. These 'Egos' are connected to their creator because they share the same spiritual energy and basic appearance. Paranormal 'Egos' are very similar to Look-a-Likes, but with one major difference. Look-a-Likes are human, the Paranormal are not. 'Egos' in this category are the ghosts, magic users, robot and etc of the groups. The Paranormal 'Egos'are able to do things beyond our understanding. This category has 'Egos' that can bend reality, predict the future, fly and so much more. Most of the 'Egos' that are solely of this category are found amoung the many 'Egos' Of Mr Mark Fischbach, with the two of his main 'Egos' (Darkiplier and Google IRL) being of this category alone. Paranormal 'Egos' are the most diverse group, being that the only traits these 'Egos' need are 1) Looking like their creator/sharing the same spiratual energy as them and 2) Not being human/Being a magic user. This also means that a lot of 'Egos' under this category are double categorized in either the Figment or Look-a-Like categories. Most of those classed under magic user (eg The Host, Marvin the Magnificent etc) are double category 'Egos', since their species is still human, they just have spiritual/blood ties to supernatural/magical beings/powers.
Just like the Paranormal, Look-a-Likes share a spiritual energy with their 'creator' which is what allows others to bring them to this dimension. Most Look-a-Likes have fairly normal careers and odd personality quirks, such as Dr Edward Iplier, one of Mr Mark Fischbach's 'Egos'. Dr Iplier is a fairly normal doctor, if we didn't take into account the fact that his first response is to tell you you're dying, in his first appearance he is even called the "Worst News Doctor". Some believe that those in this category have powers and paranormal abilities too, but that is not the case. The 'powers' shown by these characters is a sixth sense, one that we too have but are less in tune with than 'Egos'.
Now that we know the basics of what they are, lets cover the 'how' and 'why' of this topic. How did they get here? Why are they here? Well, each category of 'Egos' exists in this world due to a different reason;
Figments can be formed, or created, with a powerful enough belief in a character, a curse placed apon the host or with an idea that has enough creative energy and belief behind it. As that belief or curse gains power, the Figment grows in abilities until they are able to manifest, manifestation can take several months and once they have fully manifested can not return to the mind/body of the creator. This can cause some issues in terms of housing and keeping their existance a seceret, but those with the right resources can do it. They exist due to the large amounts of belief energy our dimension has, as well as the abundance of dreams.
Personality 'Sides' are formed, or created, within the mind of their creator/host at young age as the dominant traits of the personality are discovered, generally remaining dormant until called upon in times of need. Once needed, they are able to manifest in this world. When 'Sides' manifest outside of their creator/hosts body, they are generally only seen by the creator/host unless others are close enough to the creator/host that their sould have created a bond. This can happen between close family memebers, friendships and reletionships. Personality 'Sides' exist to help their creator.
Paranormal Egos and Look-a-Likes, that aren't double categoriezed as Figments, have their own lives and existence in a sub-dimesions next to our own, their 'creator' never truly having made them, only called them. Paranormal are able to travel back and forwards while Look-a-Likes have to be called by their 'creator' or dragged along by a Paranormal. Both Paranormal and Look-a-Likes are first called to this dimension when the 'creator' has an idea for a character that is actually them just reading the spiritual energy send through the bond by that 'Ego', this means that the 'creator' can never know if an idea they have had is their own or an alternate version of them. However, if these 'Egos' have travelled/been called here even once, they will lose energy to void between dimensions on the way back and forward, so many of them have and agreement with their 'creator' so they can return and collect more energy from this dimension to make up for what is lost when they return home since, unlike our dimension, their sub-dimension doesn't create excess energy. This agreement can make some of them more powerful, whilst other need to do it to survive since energy deplets in Paranormal and Look-a-Like 'Egos' can be dangerous, causeing sickness and even death. Our dimension can make it's own energy through environmental changes, belief, laughter and dreams. The sub-dimension can't create energy through belief or dreams, the two that create the most energy because there is nothing to believe in there, no stories of something that only exists in your dreams cause there isn't anything that doesn't exist, and if there isn't anything that can only exist in your dreams, it's pretty hard to have one isn't it? This lack of belief and dreams is causing their dimension to fall apart, which is why it tied itself to our dimension. This is also why the agreement says that the Paranomal and Look-a-Likes are to appear in the videos of their 'creators', because if people in this dimension can believe in them, they can stay alive and their home can survive as well.
There's probably one or two questions you have been left with at this point. Do I, the composer of this text, know exactly what they are? No, but I will guess that one of those question is about double categoriezed 'Egos'. Double categoriezed 'Egos' are the ones that can fit in up to two of the categories, generally being an even mix of the two. How does this work?
Well is an 'Ego' is both Figmentive and Paranormal, like Antsepticeye or Jackieboy Man, then it means they have ties to an alternate reality. 'Egos' that share these two categories have died in their realities but due to sharing the same spiritual energy as their host they become trapped in this world, hense the need for so much energy and time to gain physical form. Their memories of their own realities are dull and blurry because of this. These 'Egos' are very driven by the things they do remember, for example their death or goals in life. Most however, don't remeber that they have died and are still trying to get to a reality that most likely doesnt exist any more. Those that do remember their death are the ones that had an untimely death, most often suicidce or murder, they try and use their second chance, so to speak, for their own gains. One thing both sets of Paranormal-Figments have in common is that they came back due to unfinished buisness or regrets.
An 'Ego' that is both Paranormal and Look-a-Like is a human with magical abilities such as The Host or Wilford Warfstache. These 'Egos' usually started off as human in their sub-dimension, until an unlikely event took place and they gained their powers. Curses, insanity, objects of power and the likes are the usual culprits, but some gain their powers as a gift. Like their Paranormal or Look-a-Like counterparts, these 'Egos' share a spiritual energy with their 'creators', and like the Paranormal, these 'Egos' are able to travel back and fourth at will, but it drains them a lot more than it would a Paranormal 'Ego'. No two of these 'Egos' share the same powers, nor do they share the same story.
And finally, 'Egos' that are both Figmentive and Look-a-Likes, since Personality 'Sides' can't be double categorized but instead can change categories. 'Egos' that are of these two categories, similar too their Paranormal-Figmentive counterparts, died in their reality and came back due to the spiritual energy chared with their host. Just like with Paranormal 'Egos' and Look-a-Likes, the biggest difference here is that Figmentive Look-a-Likes are powerless. They everything unlike their Paranormal-Figmentive counterparts and could have stayed at rest after their deaths, since no matter the way of death that these 'Egos' died, they died with out regret or the will to live on. They were given a second chance due to the good nature of their soul.
I will write more covering how this logic applies for each idvidual 'Ego', and their canon lore plus some theories on them. If you have any points you like to add to prove me wrong or contribute to this theory, than feel free to add them! I would also like to congratulate you if you read the entire post and I formally apologize for the nine pages worth of writing you've had to scroll past if you didn't.

TFW Get a Dog (It’s not a dog, guys! It’s not a dog!!! STOP. WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!)
Or: The “Didn’t Dean tell you not to put strange dogs in his car?” Meta
Okay, so in preparation for this episode I watched the entire film The Thing, read the script, and listened to the audio commentary. It was quite the freaking effort, let me tell you, because I am not a body horror person by any means. Thankfully with the commentary running it took a lot of the spooky edge off, because the director would say “Oh, this is that scene coming up, now, it’s a real jump scare”, and it was like having my own personal guardian angel watching over me, talking me through it.
All in all, I didn’t get much of a The Thing vibe out of s13x17. I mean it was there, sort of, but I feel like toward the end of the story they couldn’t get the ‘so are you a monster or not?’ to stick while also still having (barely) enough time to launch into s13x18, and leave Bucklemming with enough actual structure that they couldn’t fuck things up too badly.
Dean and Castiel being separated by the rift was also essential to what the plot was saying about their Hallmark movie romance, paralleling the monsters in love with our monsters in love (and with our plushie dinosaur in love from S13x16).
This, and also laying down all the Gabriel/Asmodeus/Ketch story in an insane rush (This season is even more convoluted than 12, and I didn’t think that was possible), meant that any subtle things or exploration of human nature that Perez might have - and should have - wanted to do with an homage to The Thing, was lost. It therefore lacked a great deal of suspense, with imo no clear line as to which story really was the A plot of the episode; G/A/K were essential, and Sam and Dean felt like B plot. I felt like, perhaps, there was more in the script originally for the people in the diner to do, but it all ended up cut, and while this is just supposition on my behalf, it would honestly make sense that Asmo was crammed in at a later point, given what we know.
As an aside: a) archangel grace is apparently just lying around in MOL bunkers? and b) weren’t Ketch and Asmodeus just A BILLION times better with Perez’ lines instead of BL’s? I felt they talked a bit fast, which was part of the urgency that I felt, that their scenes were being crammed in, but that suited me just fine. Incidentally I hope nobody kills Asmodeus, I hope him going cold turkey off archangel grace just nukes him from the inside out.
But back to The Thing, and back to why I feel there was originally an entirely The Thing plot to this episode. First of all: It’s perfect. The Thing is, originally, a microorganism that comes from space (I guess we could sort of claim that SPN now has tentacle aliens in it, so this must be act 2, right? Are we exploring the nature of Destiel too?) The Thing infects its host, then absorbs its cells, copies them, and becomes a copy. It is ‘a thing that looks like another thing’. Which of course is why I was instantly suspicious of the immortal woman tied to the altar.
She is our dog. Team Free Will’s dog.
But why? What do you mean she’s a dog? She’s not a dog she’s a god. Oh.
/waggles eyebrows
At the beginning of The Thing, a sled dog (an Alaskan Malamute to be specific) is fleeing from a Norweigian helicopter, racing toward an American Antartic research camp. The dog licks the researchers as it reaches them, and the pursuing helicopter crashes. The last pursuer is shot dead by the American team, concerned that they’ve lost their minds.
So here is the dog, rescued. The Americans dispatch a pair of researchers to check out the Norweigian research camp, while the others discuss it. The dog is put in the kennels with the others. And then the dog is revealed to in fact not be what it seems to be. It is The Thing, the monster, and it attacks the other dogs. I’ve linked the scene, but it’s not for the faint of heart. The point is when the dog is revealed to be the monster, its head opens up like the clutching tentacle in 13x17, and a long, lashing tentacle emerges from its mouth.
So Sandy is the dog. Sam and Dean cannot tell that she isn’t human, and they believe her story, even though I spent at least half the episode wondering why. I thought that maybe it was a lack of meta awareness for the characters, but then I realized that it was inherent to their constant struggle, seeing the humanity in things which are not human, and none of their training has prepared them for it. I’m talking about Jack, obviously.
The other thing they do with this episode is build a vault, and the associated foreshadowing involved in the descent into it. Twice in The Thing, characters descend into the set from above, and make discoveries that push the story. The first descent is into the Norweigian research station, and the second is at the end, when the characters descend into another vault and discover the saucer spaceship that the Thing has made in order to escape.
That’s it. That (and the tentacles) is about as close as an homage to The Thing as I think this episode gets. Oh, apart from the molotov cocktails which weren’t used. See, at the end of The Thing they blow the whole place to smithereens, but in our episode all the effort at prepping the cocktails is dropped. HOWEVER, as well as showing up as a possible reference back to the film, this is also a huge piece of foreshadowing, after all a Holy Fire molotov cocktail was used on Michael in Swan Song. This is such subtle foreshadowing that you could blink and miss it, just as the idea of Dean being possessed by a god from another dimension is, and just as him descending into a vault beneath the earth (but also climbing a set of stairs) before unlocking her cage is...well, you get the drift.
In addition, as Dean descends into the vault, he drops through a halo of light, and for a moment as he crouches there alone, the heavenly light shines down on him, much as I’ve highlighted in other Dean/Michael meta recently that the light from the cross (also visible behind Dean in 13x5) also shines on Michael in 13x7.
What I found disappointing was that, despite being publicised as an episode that was based strongly on The Thing, I don’t think this one really went there. Of course, we’ve touched on the paranoia of The Thing in Supernatural before. In the episode with the Khan Worm, 6x16, And Then There Were None, we get an episode which deals with the paranoia of whether or not the people trapped with you are the monster. This - the psychological aspect of The Thing - was completely missing in our episode, which surprised me. Again, I think it was related to time issues. The Thing also influenced the X-Files episode Ice, as @justanotheridijiton has reminded us in their recent X-Files meta posts recently. It is one of the episodes of the series which haunts me, because the paranoia is handled so very well.
There was no paranoia in this episode. I expected it. I’m surprised that even though he was writing an episode that was meant to evoke The Thing, there wasn’t even any attempt to bring paranoia into it, even with the MoL at the end being suspicious that maybe Dean was a monster. There just wasn’t time. But those characters in the diner, in a former workthrough of the script, could easily have been hosts for the parasite as it jumped from body to body in order to evade the Winchesters. There was imo unused potential there, psychological drama which could have occurred between the unused diner employees and guests, which in the end barely existed to lay a couple of weak parallels.
So all in all: great Destiel parallels in this ep, huge Hallmark romance stuff that is paralleled completely across the whole episode, and of course as other people have mentioned, reminders for Dean of how Castiel was taken from him the last time they dealt with the rift with Cas beside them (seeing other people killed the way Cas was killed). It’s very raw, but it was WAY too subtle for the GA to pick up on it, just as Cas’ ‘negative space’ was, which is why even seasoned-to-disappointment Castiel viewers were disappointed. In my opinion they made up for this by immediately showing me Husband!Cas in the promo being like DEAN DID WHAT, but without that one-two punch of seeing that content straight away, you’re left all at sea. Also very subtle Michael reminders, very subtle foreshadowing--and I know that this is an unpopular or ‘too obvious’ idea to some people, but at the same time we have our heads way, way deeper into this than regular people do.
(I apologize for not using a cut, finally, because every time I do my formatting gets fucked up. For that reason, and to save people’s dashboards, there are also no images in this post.)

Tumblr media
So I know I have already posted this picture with a brief description but I figured I’d give a little more backstory on it. Back in December, I created a page for TVtropes.com with the working title “The Pathos of the Innocent Evil” with some constructive criticism and helpful comments, this was changed to “Innocent Used by Evil” while other portions of the page were fixed. At the end of March, the page was added to the official roster of TV tropes and I was extraordinarily happy about this and I began adding it to every related page I could, at the beginning of April, I found out that the page was deleted because people thought the trope was confusing or as one person said “I don’t know the definition of ‘innocence’ I don’t get this”, also somebody said the art (pictured above) was bad. I was outraged that the fate of my page was in the hands of people who just didn’t like it or were confused by it. So here is the full write up of the page in it’s full glory, I figured since it couldn’t exist on that site, it could on here.
----------
“Innocence Used By Evil”
A possessed character of good standing who is used for evil intentions
A reoccurring pattern happens to characters of normally good nature when they are taken over by an evil possessive force that needs them in order to reach a certain goal. This “evil force” is usually a demon, ghost, other entity or in the case of Morty Smith, the same character but from a different dimension. The evil force uses that character’s moral standing to manipulate other characters into helping them. Whether this is though emotional persuasion or blending in, they must use the character’s innocence in order to achieve their goals.
Examples:
- Will Byers from Stranger Things is used as a spy for the Mind Flayer. In order to be set free from the shed in season 2, he shows emotion to his family and friends that he is “still Will” when he really isn’t. He is merely giving a reaction to the stories of his family and friends so they believe he is cured and can be let out.
- Stiles Stilinski from Teen Wolf is possessed by the Kitsune to form Void Stiles. This character then uses emotional persuasion (AKA crying) to get Chris Argent not to shoot him and to get Melissa McCall to get the tape off his mouth so he can tell her how weak she is.
- Castiel from Supernatural is possessed by Lucifer in order to gain intel on what Sam and Dean are up to. Using similar speech patterns and mannerisms as Castiel, he pulls it off.
- Little Cato from Final Space is first used in the Lazarus trap on Yarno in order to get Avocato to kill himself in the lava. The likeness of Little Cato asking his father if they can go home sparks emotion in Avocato but is not enough for him to fall for it. Little Cato is used again in Episode 6 as a puppet by The Lord Commander. In an attempt to trick Avocato into a trap, TLC uses Little Cato to lure Avocato in, but since he knows it’s a trap, he doesn't fall for it. One TLC figures out that he can’t tempt Avocato with sympathy for his son, he forces Little Cato to fight his father while under TLC’s control.
- Dipper Pines from Gravity Falls is possessed by Bill Cipher in order to get the journal from Mabel. He blends in with the other characters to get the journal during Mabel’s sock opera.
- Another prime, yet more complex, example is that of Morty Smith from Rick and Morty. In the episode, “The Ricklantis Mixup”, Mortys from multiple dimensions use the character’s mostly good moral standing in order to achieve a variety of goals. Cop Rick is affected by a crying Morty who later stabs in him the back due to the fact that he's a member of the Mortytown Locos. Later in a standoff, Cop Morty tells Cop Rick that he doesn't want to be on the Citadel anymore and that he just wants to “be a normal kid” again showing emotion in order to get Cop Rick to lower the gun pointed at him. A split second after doing so, Cop Morty raises his gun to shoot Cop Rick but Rick is faster and shoots him first. Lastly, Evil Morty uses the good character standing to get get votes in the presidential campaign. It is only revealed at the end of the episode during the end sequence when his chilling theme song plays that he is in fact the same Evil Morty from an earlier episode.
----------
So I will admit it is a bit hard to understand at first glance but I believe that this is a necessary addition to the roster on TVtropes.com but I guess that’s not what others thought. Anyway, take it or leave it, this is just a reoccurring pattern I have seen a lot and felt like it needed to be shared. Thanks for reading.

Center, a planet where magic and technology blend. Or more accurately, fight tooth and nail. A planet of Sources, holes in our boring dimension letting through arcane power, chaos and pseudo-deities. In this hot-house of myths and very real dangers, Trowa and Quatre find a mysterious man at the end of a shamanic voyage. Portents suggest this Heero Yuy is crucial to Center’s survival. He’s important enough to have some interesting enemies after him, at any rate: a devious killer and thief called ‘Shinigami’, and a very irate Dragon. Beyond them looms an even greater threat. Indeed, the greatest of them all.

Two Halves
The two kingdoms of Sanq and Lin were at war for years; a conflagration involving magic, armies and political murder. The conflict left both nations devastated and strewn with refugees. The king of Sanq finds his infant son, lost at birth, among the death and the ruin, a miracle he barely dared to hope for. But there isn’t just one boy, there are two, clinging together like two halves of a whole that cannot be separated. Decades later, the truth behind that second child’s existence will put a hole in the world, or possibly save it.

still thinking about that “we Have To Talk about how quips are ruining fandom by destroying meta and turning all fic into shitposts” post @ms-demeanor wrote a great rebuttal to, and about the other posts she wrote about it and about the You’re Doing Fandom Wrong attitude in it, and about the notes on those posts. not gonna reblog or reply to any of those because my thoughts are admittedly kind of random and jumping from place to place and probably OT to the point of the discussion, but you know. still thinking.
so, uh. not trying to start wank or anything but enjoy the ranting that got way out of hand under the cut.
so, like... that one “we can’t just block everyone who quips and shitposts because some of these people also write actual meta but then they unfortunately go back to Not Engaging With Canon by writing quippy shitpost-y stuff” line, or however it was actually phrased? besides the blatant entitlement with the “you have to fandom ONLY in ways I like, I can’t just engage with the part of the content you create that I’m interested in and scroll past the rest” thing (which kinda reminds me of the whole “you can’t CNTW on some of your fics, I should be able to read ALL of your fics” thing, in a way) and the ”I refuse to curate my fandom experience and I’ll make it some stranger’s problem” thing (which... reminds me of a few other things, but tbf it has probably been around since the very first days of fandom), what if someone doesn’t even see meta and quips/shitposts as fundamentally different and mutually exclusive approaches to fandom? what if they see them as just two ways to be interested in a specific fandom and interact with it, and maybe even closely linked together, so going from one to another is actually very, very easy for them? hell, what if they (gasp!) even mix quips and meta together sometimes?
I have a few posts about what I think Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese might have been doing with mythological references and themes in Dark, and about what I got from the series finale. some are meme-like, phrased in a joking tone, probably even shitpost-y? another one is literally just a gifset plus me having intense Feels in the tags, and the last one is an edit of the kind I’ve seen people complain about as “those cringey unoriginal tumblr aesthetics that all look the same” in at least a couple of occasions. does that automatically mean I only wanted to “win” at fandom (with my hard-earned prize being... a handful of notes in a fandom that’s not even that big compared to others) and that I haven’t actually spent probably way too much time thinking about the significance of Martha’s Ariadne play as a commentary on character interactions/plot/narrative themes (and honestly still do from time to time), or that I don’t occasionally read the captions under other people’s gifsets and suddenly feel very much enlightened about why the Ariadne play mentions the myth of the Flood of all things? that I didn’t start reading posts and comments and reviews and theories about the series finale as soon as I finished watching it? that, just because I didn’t write 10K+ words of Perfectly Serious Seriousness about all that stuff, I simply refused to Engage With The Text?
... and if I said that I feel a little irrationally self-conscious at the idea of writing down all of my (often rambling, sometimes jumbled) thoughts about a series that to me actually does feel very deep and complex, so adding memes and humor to that or finding different means to put my ideas out there makes me feel more comfortable expressing myself while also taking off the (admittedly made-up) pressure of having to write a whole coherent essay where I have to find a clear and explicit way to explain where every single thought comes from and how it leads to the next like I’m gonna get graded on it? or that a lot of those thoughts stem from memories of spending five years of high school translating and analysing ancient Greek poetry and reading and watching and discussing every available interpretation and reinterpretation of it from Nietzsche to Vernant to Dürrenmatt to Christa Wolf to Pasolini to a lot of others and from certain things in Dark violently hurtling me back to those times without even asking for permission, so a part of my self-consciousness is actually “I probably don’t actually know/remember enough about this to base a whole in-depth analysis on it even though I do think there’s something there” and another part is “shit I’m too lazy to dig through all of my old textbooks and homework and additional readings to hunt for the thing I feel the desperate need to reference or figure out who might have said it, so no extended explanation here either”? I guess in the end it would all boil down to “there’s an amount of effort and physical and mental energy I’m willing to put into fandom but I also have limits to stop something that makes me feel happy from becoming a chore”, which. considering the whole “you have to put all your resources into constantly pouring out 100% serious meta and nothing else because that’s what I like, no deviations allowed” thing? yeah, I can see saying stuff like that would still make me a blight upon fandom. and/or Not Engaging.
which, I realize, it’s a thing I keep coming back to. but that’s because I really, really, really hate it? seriously, what even counts as Engaging With The Text correctly? not shitposts, and not quips either, apparently. Regardless of the fact that humor and crack have existed in fandom since forever and that it’s actually not uncommon AT ALL for them to be born out of looking at canon from different angles, pointing out whatever the fan in question finds surreal/strange/implausible/convoluted/awkward/just kinda funny about it.
also, not canon divergence/what if fics motivated not by a desire to “fix” something that made us feel bad when it happened in canon but by a desire to actually fix what we felt was objectively a poor writing choice from the author, because we shouldn’t Engage by analysing the text to criticize it or to think over how and why certain aspects of it don’t work for us or how we think the structure of the text itself could be modified or even improved, we should Engage by... writing meta and/or writing canon-compliant fics with perhaps a little allowance for slightly-to-the-left-of-canon-compliant missing moments fics, I guess?
from what I’ve gathered from reading other fandom discussion some time ago, AUs are also out, especially Modern/No Powers AUs, because those are always just an excuse to slap your fave’s name on your OC/disguise your original fiction as fanfic to get comments/ignore all that’s interesting about canon to write yet another dumb syrupy high school or coffee shop AU, even if I’m honestly not sure what kind of AUs people are even reading to never get to the “there’s no supernatural threat so let’s focus entirely on the fucked-up family dynamics and blatant mental issues in a world where you can’t just ignore them by marrying off your daughter or sending your son to be someone’s squire” AUs or the “this is pretty much what happens in canon but adding new dimensions and different outlooks on the themes by moving everything to a new context” AUs. seriously, I could rec you a pretty great “this guy would be a horrible father and treat his children horribly in any world, it’s not just the feudal society around him, it’s him as a person” AU and that’s literally just the first thing that came to my mind. but, hey, maybe Engaging is only engaging with the canon plot and setting and nothing else, what do I know.
... fuck, thinking about it, I’m not even sure if by “not shitpost and not quips” I should even mean humor/crack? because it’s not like the OP was clear about it in any way? maybe it’s just all that’s weird and tropey and not-canon-compliant? I can see the “everybody gathers in the main character’s stuff to smoke weed and weird shit happens” fic I got a chuckle out of some time ago being one of the dreaded tumblr-born shitpost fics that are supposedly ruining fandom by ensuring that fans stop thinking (?), but what about the “everything is the same but this one character is a catboy, not for any particular reason but just because” fic I’m currently following and loving? people have been joking and shitposting about catboys a lot on tumblr lately (I distinctly remember that the last catboy joke to pop up on my dash was the “I’m your catboy gf and I’m stuck in a wall” one...) and finding an always-a-catboy!AU initially got an amused smile out of me, so is the mere premise enough to make the fic just a joke/just taking a trope and running off with it/just part of a shallow trend? even when the author literally goes “oh shit just realized this is all a metaphor for neuodivergence and masking” in the story notes? unless writing a character who’s never explicitly stated to be neurodivergent in canon as a being literally or metaphorically neurodivergent in your fic is always shallow projecting or posturing issuefic... instead of, y’know, looking closely at the text and Engaging with it by interpreting it that way....
I feel all this ranting/venting might end up plunging into Why We Slash discussion territory now, so I better stop here.
anyway, in short, good to know I’ve been in fandom for years yet I’ve always been just a Fake Fan who Can’t Think and is constantly Doing It Wrong (by Not Being Transformative Enough, possibly). gonna do my best to stay exactly like that in the future <3

Devilman: Crybaby - review
I have to tell you in advance, that I have never written a review on any anime, so be gentle with criticism.
Devilmen: Crybaby, the fresh and crispy Netflix anime took 200 minutes of my life, but I would never swap it for anything. I managed to finish it yesterday midnight and I'm still in catharsis, in a completely different state of mind than I usually am after experiencing art.
In medias res, I will talk about the flaws I have discovered in the series, because there are way less of these, than positive features.
1. The foreshadowing in the first episode was a bit too obvious, especially for the eyes of a person who was brought up in a Christian family and has detailed knowledge about the Bible. I think it is only a minor mistake, and if we take the framed structure of the anime into consideration, it comes out beautifully in the end, and makes it a very well thought out, in a way lyrical story.
2. In my opinion the usage of the name "Satan" was not the best option. The original name of Satan in the Bible is Lucifer, which means "bringer of light". This name would have given Ryo's character an additional dimension, and I'm a bit sad that the writer (Go Nagai) did not exploit this opportunity.
3. The most frequently mentioned flaw of the series is the somewhat dumb implementation of the change in posessed characters' appearance and personality. But if we consider the character design and the entire aesthetic of by the anime, the harsh changes in appearances can be overlooked. Furthermore it was a crucial to understand the complex nature of people possessed by demons who have previously been completely pure. It helps the viewer comprehend the message that we all are "devilman" with flaws and evil features besides having a human heart that is capable of producing an entire range of different emotions.
4. The last thing I'd like to mention is that some initial questions of the anime, most of them emerging in the first episode were left without a proper answer. Why do people need a certain drug to get possessed by demons, and what is that drug? How did Ryo know about the existence of Amon, and his exceptional powers if he lost all his knowledge about who he was before (leader of demons)? If any of you can come up with an answer or explanation, I'd be more than happy, maybe it was just me who didn't notice some minor details.
Now let's move on to the positive features of the anime, which basically includes EVERYTHING, but I might be a little biased.
1. Story: I loved the framed structure of the story, which produced a bit of confusement in the beginning, but the last episode made everything clear so beautifully. The first half of the anime can be characterised by the adjectives gore, dirty, perverted, sexual, hypnotic, funny and extremely modern. The scenes incorporated today's nightlife and club culture, the sexualizing of everything, the sexual perversion of people in modern society of high living standards, even fashion and music were completely on point. The story gradually transverted from this extremely dirty and materialistic phase to a divine and supernatural aspect. The gore still remained (fortunately) but it became more serious, and actually making the viewers' heart ache. It might just be me, but animes in which EVERYONE dies is my kinda thing, so I was happy that not even the purest, most innocent characters received mercy.
I really appriciated that despite my Christian education I was still surprised by certain turns of the story. The counter attack of God's divine army, the unfolding of Ryo's evil plan and so on. The ending was very emotional, and it close the circle of the events with the destruction of the globe perfectly.
2. Characters: Character development is definitely the biggest strength of the anime. Not only the three protagonists (Akira, Ryo, Miki) went through great changes and development, but minor characters (Miko, Mayuta, Wamu) as well.
For me Akira represents human nature the best. He goes into great depths through the story (e.g.: raping and fighting Silene) and exploits the full potential of his demon powers, but still manages to keep his human heart, and this duality shows great emotional strength. This is where the title gets its meaning: a devil that is capable of crying, which is an ultimate way of expressing emotions. Even if there is no practical difference between demons and "Devilman" (it is just an artificial name given to Akira by Ryo), the self-identification is determining. It is a beautiful allegory to human nature, which is never black and white but the mixture of good and evil, and the only thing that counts is how we look at ourselves, how we define ourselves. Declearing that one is a "bad person" deprives him the will to act right.
Ryo and Satan cannot be identified as completely the same person in my opinion. Ryo have lost his memories about being a fallen angel, and was conveinced he was a human until the "relevation" he found in the Bible, that made him discover his past. His subconscious though, led him to fulfill his eventual purpose, but certain signs throughout the story showed that he was doubting himself (especially when it was concerning the life of Akira). In his Satan "form" there was no doubt written on his face. He was 100% sure in his goal and was ready to deploy all the means necessary to achieve it. The greatest surprise in my view was the fact that even Satan was able to change in a way. This is a feature of most anime that no character is purely good or evil. (This is the reason why I prefer anime to Hollywood shit.) In the closing scene he cried, which was a bit predictable and "too perfect", but it was essential to understand his struggle. It proved him that love exists, and that "He cried too", thus it was sort of an enlightment for him, in the exact moment when the annihilation of the world began.
One of the most interesting supporting Characters was Mayuta or Kukun. He was the only openly gay character in the series, and his sorrow after the death of his love was extremely moving, it made the show even more colorful. It was visible that his sadness fed the demon inside him, thus is it a good allegory for depression or other mental illnesses. He experienced the worst traumas in the anime (being revealed in front of the whole world meanwhile a massacre) and maybe because of his lack of emotional intelligence, he couldn't process these events completely. He was easily manipulated, weak and a coward. It might sound like I hated him because of these traits, but that's not the case. He was not able to achieve as much as Akira did, but he had a far worse backstory as well, which made him the ultimate "sadboy", and that is exactly why he appaeled to me.
3. Art: Straght up perfect. In the first few minutes I had to adapt to the character design, since I was used to a more elaborated, "classical" design. It is very avantgarde if I can say that, there is a bit of everything in it from constructivism to pop art. It is also a great mixture of ancient and ultra-modern, since the Biblical nature of the story placed into modern times requires that as well. My favourite thing about the art was the naturalism it represented. The raw sexual and gore scenes, that had an extremely strong impact on my senses were to live for. I don't easily become shocked of horroristic scenes, but the episode in which Taro ate his mom while his dad watching them, crying and hesitating whether to kill him or not had me straight up SHAKING.
4. References: There were no direct references in the anime, but the nature of the story and certain scenes have very much resembled those of Neon Genesis Evangelion. Both series are based on Biblical symbols and are centered around the theme of creation, genesis. In my opinion Devilman: Crybaby does a better job in that regard, with less waisting of time on fucking tsunderes and annoying complaining (yeah, I'm talking about Shinji).
5. Music: No words are needed, I've already mentioned that it's exceptional and really sets the mood.
Now to the closing remarks. I know my review is not perfectly structured, since thoughts are still circling in my head like crazy, but I tried my best. Sadly I do not have the capacity to write about a dozen of more detailes such as Miki and Miko's beautiful relationship or the historical and social dimension of the story (which is actually the most interesting thing so idk why I skipped it, I might write another review on just this later). All in all I loved the anime despite its flaws, tbh I love it even more because of them. I highly recommend it to everyone, since it's extremely thought provoking. I warn you, around episode 9-10 you'll be like a Crybaby.
Peace

My Witches Are Different
 The basic powers of Witches
There six original witches each one born with a certain element
Nether Witches
The magic of the underworld other known as nothingness witches born with this type of ability can serve people souls from their bodies bring others back to life, not all nether witches are necromancers but are more likely to be one.
The user can create, shape and manipulate Nether, the “Chthonian Element” that flows through the realms of the living, and the Dead. Nether is most known as the substance that makes up the Underworld, a subterranean dimension where all souls go when they pass on. Nether is very similar to Aether “the Celestial Element” in that it is from a Plane that exists between the planes of both matter, and energy. However, although it can partake in the nature of either substance, Nether is neither of these things.
Despite being often considered “Death-Force” Nether is more than the source of what drains life away from living things, it is the destructive aspect of reality, the source and very concept of entropy and destruction, disasters, and all degeneration in the matter, energy, and concepts. It is the power that makes possible and ensures severing the soul’s connection to their mortal body so they can pass onto the afterlife. It is also the power that summons and controls the souls of the deceased. Users of this power acknowledge that Nether exists in Elemental, Cosmic, and Spiritual forces. Nether exists in the cosmos as sort of a gateway between the land of the Living and the Dead, stretching out to anywhere where death has potential to occur.
Like Aether, Nether is a Spiritual Element, which means it cannot be perceived by any physical sense. The only way Nether can be seen is if it were mixed with an Element of the Physical Realm (Most often Darkness, Fire, or Earth).
Aether (Spirit)
Main specialties for aether witches Travelers of other dimissions dream walkers users of the Arcane craft.
these are the type of witches who are more likely to have Stronger Psychic abilities among the other Six.
The user can create, shape and manipulate Aether, a powerful and unique “Celestial Element” that flows through the Universe. There have been many claims/theories made by alchemists, natural philosophers, and very early modern physicists that confirm Aether’s power. One claim is that it was the pure essence that the Mythological gods lived and breathed in the same way humans did with air. Another claim is that Aether is the force used by God himself to create the Universe. Another reference would be the Hermeticist book “Kybalion” that not only explain its nature but the plane it comes from. As mentioned in the Astrology page, Aether is from the “Ethereal Plane”, a Physical Plane that exists between the ones of both matter and energy. However, although it can partake in the nature of either substance, Aether is neither of these things.
Despite its title as “Life-Force”, Aether encompasses more than the essence of living things. Users of this power will realize that Aether exists in Elemental, Cosmic, and Spiritual forces. This is also proven by the Kybalion’s entries. According to the texts, there are at least three levels of both matter and energy each with Aether in the middle. The first level of matter comprises the common forms of matter like solid/liquids/gases. The second level consists of matter that is at a more high level, and subtle. The third level is comprised of the most subtle, and tenuous forms of matter that scientists don’t even know about. Concerning energy, the first level consists of the common forms such as heat and light. The second level consists of “Nature’s Finer Forces”, higher forms of energy that is undiscovered by scientists. The third level consists of energy that is unrecognizable by human beings, and available only to beings of the Spiritual Plane. This form of energy can be considered as “the divine power” with the users being considered “gods”.
With this stated, each level of matter/energy refers to the one of the three mentioned forces. The first level means the elemental forces because the text refers to common forms. The second level means cosmic forces as they are referring to higher forms of matter/energy. The third level refers to spiritual/divine forces because the text referred to forms of matter/energy that is unrecognizable by mortal life-forms and only available to transcendent life-forms. This is supported by the fact that spirits are believed to be ethereal beings that are basically made of Aether. Needless to say, users of this power will be extremely powerful, and essentially invincible.
Fire Witches
Witches of fire can do more than controlling the element they are one of three that can steal/absorb others energy (by touch) and store them within themselves or use their magic type against them.
Fire witches immunity to fire
Fire mimicry
Sub-Ability
Fire witches can also create, shape and manipulate energy, the capacity to cause change: one of the most basic quantitative properties of a system, such as an object or a field of energy. Energy can be transformed (converted) among a number of forms that may each manifest and be measurable in differing ways. The law of conservation of energy states that the (total) energy of a system can increase or decrease only by transferring it in or out of the system, thus the total energy of a system can be calculated by simple addition when it is composed of multiple non-interacting parts or has multiple distinct forms of energy.
Common physical forms of energy include the kinetic energy of a moving object, the radiant energy carried by light and other electromagnetic radiation, and various types of potential energy such as gravitational and elastic.
Water Witches
The user can create, shape and manipulate water, an inorganic compound with liquid, gas (steam, water vapor), and solid (ice) states, including changing them from one state to other.
just because a water source is not near them water witches can summon (teleporting water from the seven seas or any water source close by) at any time and place. No matter in a dessert.
Water witches can communicate with water-related creatures and breath underwater.
Water mimicry
Air Witches
can cause storms fly and walk on air
The user can create, shape and manipulate air, the common name given to the layer of atmospheric gases and various compounds (mostly oxygen and nitrogen) surrounding the planet Earth that is retained by Earth’s gravity, and wind, movement of air relative to the surface of the planet. It is an important factor in determining and controlling climate and weather, and the generating force of most ocean and freshwater waves. Wind occurs because of horizontal and vertical differences in atmospheric pressure, and include breezes, squalls, gusts, whirlwinds, zephyrs, gales, tempests, and hurricanes.
Since air cannot be seen by conventional methods, neither can the attacks and derivatives formed by/from it, making it an invisible and versatile weapon that is very difficult to block and dodge.
Air Fire mimicry
Earth Witches
They can do more than manipulate the earth around, they also ability to commune with animals
Earth witches can use nature to blend or become one with their surroundings  with nature, they become instantly familiar, their connection is so deep that the earth can respond to one’s emotions and desires (blossoming with flowers and calming weather when happy, making skies stormy or cause earthquakes when angry, shifting the landscape to gain the advantage in a fight, etc.)
The user can purify, heal and generally influence the health of nature, and be considering the fact that they’re helping the environment, plants and animals act favorably towards the user. They have access to every living species of animal on Earth and can also draw strength from them and acquire their abilities. Nature obeys users every command and operates on a “hive mind”, meaning users can control an entire army of animals.
Earth mimicry

Fire; Orange

 Bonding Magic;
Witches can bond their souls to another to draw power from other supernatural beings, typically from another Witch, there is a price if the bonded person dies they well too. there’s an alternate brand created by a Nether witch instead of dying along with the person who is killed the other well only feel immense pain.
It’s possible to inherit two types of Elemental magic from both parents of different element type. In the Witch community people who born with from each parent known as duel Witches

Otherworld Legends Cheats
Otherworld Legends Guide
Tumblr media
Otherworld Legends guide is a guide for a famous new sport. Thanks for making this due to the fact i am having numerous a laugh playing this sport. Due to the fact i do not know the way to mod video games, i desired to invite: is there a way to mod a object spawner? Thank you for the replace, but the problem still exist on my phone, however it's ok. btw, i examine the coaching once more and quantity 4 preparation stated: copy the folder com.chillyroom.zhmr.gp to android/obb. Make sure that when you open the android/obb/com.chillyroom.zhmr.gp folder, you spot the main.xxx.com.chillyroom.zhmr.gp.obb record interior. So my minion may want to summon minions. Became fun the game has lots of iap. You start off with 1 free person, and 1 unlockable via in recreation Gems, but the rest of them are handiest release-capable thru iap. And to make it worse, the beginning person has 4 competencies, and each ability has three sub talents. The 4th ability is and iap and each third subskill is an iap. That's extremely demanding. Makes a character sense p2w ish. I'd gladly pay $eight for a remarkable cellular recreation, however for these top rate fashions this is going to be 0 bucks, zero playtime, thank you. You'll be gambling as one of the five available heroes and unharness the exquisite cool skills to break down the enemies and executives to progress further. You may check the Otherworld Legends sport guide and recommendations right here. So it is all we got on this post on Otherworld Legends code to get presents. If you understand any lively code, percentage it in the feedback. Do you love playing cellular games? Join our youtube channel - gaming soul for new cellular sport videos. By means of the usage of a left-aspect navigation lever, players will be capable of circulate in 8 instructions. Because of this flexibility, gamers can move more easily. It differs from older 2nd pixel games in this respect, the character actions speedy and with none lag troubles. The left aspect of the display screen may have about four buttons to display extraordinary capabilities and assaults. Typically, all characters have an vehicle-attack. While pressed constantly at the moment, you may use everyday assaults that don't devour power. This can actually be the primary harm thing to the enemy lineup. Besides that, there may be three one of a kind capabilities positioned round. Each character has precise styles that you have to look at for a long time to pick out the right one. In the game, the guys offer characters with such traits as gladiators. Those characters are usually tremendously resilient, and their abilities additionally increase their stamina. The name of the game to winning this class is to prolong the battle for as long as feasible. The pink Gems are rubies which we've now not pretty found a use for. After a couple of runs, you will sooner or later be able to free up new abilities for quan. As soon as she hits stage three, you could additionally speak to khan near the mailbox to set a secondary talent. Secondary talents behave a touch otherwise than primary talents. You could set any of your capabilities in your secondary slot, however you cannot set any variants - it ought to be the bottom ability. I sense like i've simply slightly scratched the floor right here and already i've nothing however fantastic things to mention. There's one component to notice, however, and you may be made aware of it via an in-sport message the instant you fire up the game. Soul knight became unfastened to play but extraordinarily fair about it, and offered numerous additional content material as one-time iap purchases. With the aid of and massive the type of target market that would really like soul knight is the same target audience that derides gross free to play video games, and i've never heard everybody complain. But, that is not all, as the game additionally lets in you to merge them to create new guns, with higher attribute points and unique abilties. Many people believe that the 16-bit pix platform is unattractive and does now not offer a terrific experience. But if you have regarded Otherworld Legends before, you will recognise that the claims above aren't actually genuine, at least for this recreation. Nonetheless a feature of 16 bits snap shots, there aren't many sharp information but the effect of the game is designed in element. The jelly that transforms right into a random partner every time you drink a potion out of doors of fight is a excellent instance. Like other minions, the jelly cube will perish after taking in hits and could revert lower back to its unique shape. Scavenging fitness potions will become critical as you would need this companion to be useful in conflict. In some instances, you will now not be able to select up health potions as your hp perhaps full after a fight. Remember the fact that you may always tour back to formerly cleared regions in case you want to fill up some hp earlier than exploring new rooms. Meanwhile, traps and supernatural elements will seem, attacking the character and injuring him. You will ought to do many stuff to save your life, from deciding on characters for each level, upgrading strength or replacing greater effective guns. Eventually, approximately the collection of missions. Otherworld Legends does now not have as many npcs as soul knight, but the sport is built with a machine of fundamental missions, intently connected to the plot. You simply get to find out the content, and you get rewards each time you entire it. From assets of mild, energy, fireplace or thunder will make you feel excited. This factor contributes drastically to the simulation of the fierce war. Besides, the game handles the motion smoothly, mixed with the background tune to create a mysterious space and full of risks. Observe: there are some devices that have a sport freeze when skipping the plot. If this takes place, delete the game and reinstall it. Then play storyline as everyday. Helloo there i'm having loads of amusing with this mod however because i'm dumb and lazy and do not know the way to mod something i wanted ask if there's a way to make an item spawner good day! Presently, the game has formally released. Many players have experienced it and feature left nice evaluations. The tale of Otherworld Legends starts with the event that the villain asurendra creates an illusionary world. Right now after, he used his power to summon all of the heroes from area and time amassed right here. Monsters, lethal traps are arranged everywhere. And behind all of that is a plot to dominate the dimensions of asurendra's dimensions, right after the heroes are destroyed. You are one of those heroes, you soon become aware of that brutal conspiracy.

Modifying the world normally takes heart.
The following three years as hentai games's unique launch, I have considered it nearly daily. Its luxurious style religiously captures its own spirit of rebellion and breathes life to its own dynamic combat system. The evocative, slamming soundtrack perfectly encapsulates the emotion of every minute. The down-time spent in Tokyo together with your pals delivers you nearer into each of these, and invigorating your fight for what's right. All those properties feed right into a bold story that unapologetically sets down its foot from the injustices that reflect our personal culture. Even the drawn-out version, hentai games, brings all around. But over and above a plethora of exceptional gameplay refinements and functions that strengthen an already-rich RPG comes a momentous fresh story arc hammered within the first narrative and paid down in full at the ending. It delivers some thing truly astonishing, resulting in awe-inspiring moments and emotional conclusions that recontextualize exactly what I believed that the game had been. Through its lengthy 120-hour runtime, hentai games reveals it self since the authoritative model of today's traditional. Even the instant you begin P5R, you're awarded the incredible media res debut that brightly showcases the trip you are in for--also provides a glimpse at the Royal-exclusive personality Kasumi. Next teaser, you are brought for the following beginning of the story that then walks you through the occasions that emphasized the flame in our protagonist (aka Joker) and kicked his travel since being a virtuous trickster. The opening hours may take some time to choose the speed back up, but by easing you in to the match's systems, you're setup for that remainder of its stream. P5R expertly intertwines the daily structure of living life being a high school student and a supernatural-powered vigilante battling bad in a different dimension. Because the social sim aspects and RPG dungeon crawling are stitched together effortlessly, you expand attached to the world you are battling to shift. It has a format that is that the series base since Persona 3, and it is at its most effective here in P5R having a scope of new and possibilities small UI components which will help convey your options. Vigilantly deciding how to spend your own precious days and nights by simply balancing faculty existence, customs, and also your own duties like a Phantom Thief through this calendar year also makes the mundane exciting. You'll spend time together with characters to learn about that which pushes them and witness their own growth since they internalize and over come their traumatic pasts. Among the relations will be kind-hearted adults tired by means of a system that has neglected adolescents and them chased by their own earlier and dreading their future. These are very human stories which often hit near home and also inspire inside their very own tiny way (although some are inherently awkward). Along with these connections along with your Confidants bestow powers you carry into conflict. P5R makes the Confidant process less difficult with fresh scenes, in the kind of calls, to help rank up them quicker, effortlessly granting the ability to determine more of these stories that are appealing. It truly is important because there really are a few new Confidants to bond with as effectively. The key new opportunities are with Goro Akechi, who is now somebody you opt to spend some time together with, which finally leads to a deeper understanding and advancement of this time approximately. Kasumi Yoshizawa was touted since the major addition to this roster; she fits in very well and you're going to realize her appetite to become a elite competitive gymnast originates in the darker, complicated location. Although her screen time is limited from the first 1 / 2 the match, she becomes vital to the delivery of this newest story beats and also a welcome ally to resist along side the rest of the gang you know and love. Most importantly, the school counselor Takuto Maruki, an enormous character who elevates P5R's story. He's an exceptional thematic fit, offering perspectives on emotional wellbeing that had not been touched at the original. His narrative was integrated into the heart story, also he's also key for unlocking what's beyond hentai games's authentic narrative and some of P5R's very best minutes. Associations are what drive you, however, also the hard-fought struggles happen within the Metaverse, a physical manifestation of tainted cognition. Demonic shadows lurk as you work to metaphysically conquer the distorted wants of those who've uttered your pals and several others--and also you do this using a hyper-stylized, certain swagger. With most Palaces comes with a brand new party member and story thread about what led them to combine the cause. These aren't solely tragic back-stories to the sake to be striking, however --it really is the best way to are to know their battling spirit till they turned into a beloved comrade. Accepting those story-critical Palaces never loses its allure, as their trippy, ingenious enemies and designs appeal you into the wild conflicts throughout. Sometimes, the first assumption of Palaces is subverted to great effect; some-times evildoers are not the only ones who need a change of heartdisease. It farther compels you to search that which goes ahead. Beyond plenty of excellent gameplay refinements and capabilities that enhance an already-rich RPG includes a brand new narrative arc seeded over the unique narrative and paid in full at the ending. Palaces comprise some tiny but bright variations in P5R, too. Re-arranged dungeon designs accommodate Joker's brand new grappling hook, so enabling you to swing into fresh locations. They often lead to Will Seeds, a collectible that divides SP and mildew to accessories that are useful. Returning players may even see that a few dungeon designs are compact, making exploration simpler. Mementos, the Metaverse's collection of procedurally generated floors, also has some much-needed overhauls. Driving about to advancement within those twisted subway depths because the Morgana bus was book, but grew insistent from the game. P5R yells in new mechanics like collecting flowers and stamps to money in for things that are useful and advantages to enhance battle rewards. And probably the most welcome change is the fact that, as an alternative of the exact same song throughout, new songs play at deeper degrees. Apart from jelqing browsing these surreal dungeons, you're going to be investing a huge amount of time participated in P5R's dynamic turn-based combat. It's fast and fashionable, and builds on the sturdy base of Shin Megami Tensei, that has you emphasizing exploiting elemental weaknesses and bringing extra turns. Typical enemies might also be fodder once their affinities are exposed, however rougher kinds, minibosses, and supervisors tap to battle intricacies. P5R levels more onto conflicts, like the ridiculous Showtime attacks which possess twoparty members associate to get a high-damage combo which initiates clutch situations. Even the powered-up Baton move mechanic is even more essential because it can certainly promote damage and replenish HP and SP. And supervisor battles finally have various stages that present new, ambitious troubles that require you to think more intelligently, analyzing your control of the combat method. The dripping swagger of it extends into the smooth and effective UI that helps keep combat up's speed that is fast. Everything unfolds such a quick and stylish manner that you can't help but fall in love to it along with the Phantom Thieves who pull all these flashy moves. Even in a second version of the match, implementing onscreen attacks and watching them unfold hasn't lost a single bit of its own charm. Never has a turn-based overcome system been this thrilling. hentai games is many things: some selection of little motivational tales, an ambitious harrowing travel with some good buddies, a stunning visual and auditory experience, a resounding call to action. However, P5R isn't here to just look rather much. Beneath the mask of its own unrelenting style and enchanting silliness are the friendships you naturally form and motivate one to stick to the struggle through to the first conclusion. From their persona awakenings to this minute you view them completely comprehend their objectives, your fellow Phantom Thieves become your trip die in this heavy-hitting narrative. In concentrating on perpetrators of sexual attack, employee misuse, and filthy authoritarianism,'' hentai games brings a very clear line from the sand--people like this have no place in our society and deserve no winner. There is no middle ground, no compromise to be made, so no more both sides-ism. Your crew's individual drama sometimes seeps to the wider message, however maybe not without demonstrating why you're battling so tricky to shift matters. Even if uncertainty about their vigilante ways begins to creep into characters work , stay glued for their beliefs, also realize there was not a choice in the situation.
Tumblr media
Ironically, P5R is often subtle like a brick. It is simple to nitpick where its writing falls right into being overly simplistic or perhaps a bit rote--although it has improved in several instances it may still be crude sometimes. It's not especially pithy in its storytelling, however it does not need to function as. In currently being evident as day in its own narrative, the messages along with characterizations are unmistakable. It's also so wild to me that the match's almost-caricature villains have been significantly less and less far-fetched in only the three years since the initial launch --that the blatant abuse of power, their wrong doings set bare, and the masses shrouded in seeing them face consequences. In end to this original narrative arc simply hits differently now, and the game's dramatic battles have become increasingly more laborious. Transitioning into the Royal-exclusive third semester, there's a tonal change that's effortlessly executed. Stranger things start to take place, at a strangely unsettling manner, especially throughout the seemingly relaxing winter. Here, P5R takes a twist toward genuine moral quandaries. Within this semester, there is somewhat longer to learn about your buddies, and there is one last Palace to infiltrate. And it can be, without a doubtthe very best one in the entire game. These brand new events have been attractively captured with brand new Royal-exclusive songs that amplify what was already an iconic, yet genre-bending sound-track. The puzzles in will shock you, and intriguing revelations about personalities propel them nicely beyond that they introduced themselves to really be. The pace at which it has educated and by what method the set of events have been framed paint hentai games in a new, attractive light while keeping true to the original spirit. This new narrative arc achieves a grand sense of scale and finality, nonetheless captures a more intimate, private tone. And it all builds as much as what is also the greatest boss combat all the game, pushing your battle abilities with their limits. P5R efficiently simplifies among the initial shortcomings: its somewhat surprising ending. From the vanilla version, even after around 100 hours, it felt like there is still a lost slice; P5R has that missing bit. There is 15 to 20 hrs worth of excellent content that accepts hentai games at an alternative way while moving all on its very best traits. It supplies a stunning, stunning finish despite the initial bombastic, over-the-top finish. These brand new events have been beautifully captured with brand new Royal-exclusive tunes that shorten the thing that was already an iconic, genre-bending sound track. Without exception I realized"living Will transform" and"Rivers From The Universe" as perfect examples of the way hentai games works by using its own songs to portray precise thoughts of the moment--tunes which exude the infectious optimism of this Phantom Thieves going in to have a corrupt heart. In the instance with our old favorites, then the new evocative jams eventually become a potent story device. "I Think" stands as a bold recollection of the lengthy, hard fought travel that dissipates into one last conflict, while"Throw Away Your Mask" carries the sign of jealousy between a clash of ideals. The brand new Tower's theme includes a wistfulness that illuminates the situations that unfold. Songs is inseparable from the Persona experience--that the show thrives for this --and somehow, some way P5R produces again to produce an even more profound affect. Thus, just like in the initial, the track"Sun Set Bridge" brought my moment together with P5R to some closefriend. This is a bittersweet tune which is used across the game to signify an instant of significance of its characters. But since the final background track before having to abandon the sport supporting, it became my own personal instant of emotion, understanding how much I've treasured my time , and now for all-new explanations. Since P5R comes to an in depth, it tries to facilitate you to the end together with heartfelt scenes, some fresh and a few recognizable. But in doing this, it simply makes it more difficult to say goodbye again. hentai games is many things: a selection of little inspirational stories, an ambitious harrowing journey with a few decent friends, a magnificent visual and auditory experience, a resounding call to actions. By optimizing exactly what was already great and building on its best qualities with a dazzling new narrative arc, hentai games asserts as a memorable and empowering RPG which should be named one among the greatest matches of our time.
