That's right!! FINALLY, the demo is officially live!

Opus Torrentia is a surreal exploration RPG with inspiration from the classics such as Earthbound and Yume Nikki. (it’s an RPGmaker game, what do you want from me?) It has strange environments, curious characters, fun abilities, puzzles, minigames and secretssss!

The demo is testing at about 45mins - an hour to finish. Please check it out and let me know what you think!!!

I just found out another game I worked on got announced the other day too! The team on it is AMAZING, the art is so good. I just did inventory icons and items for this one but it was super fun and cute stuff

MAY UPDATE IS HERE: FAITH + SADIE & MOSS

The May update is finally here!

This means you can now purchase the new DLC: Sadie & Moss Mann (now as playable characters)

They're now part too of the Bundle with all things "Monster Con" (the bundle's price has changed to reflect this). It's a "Complete the Set" bundle, which means you can still benefit from its discount even if you have part of its contents (as you pay only for whatever you're missing)

This update also comes with a new guest: Faith, from the Coven.

Now you can call her and meet her in the con. Go check with her. There's cool new art associated to her events!

Finally, this update will bring the Steam trading cards and other goodies.

BUT they are not ready JUST YET. They've been sent for approval and should be approved soon, so we expect them to be live in the following days. You can now collect all your favorite Liams, in trading card form!

Are Stools the Ultimate Weapon?

Something I noticed but haven't seen anyone point out is that each member of the Main Four utilises a stool in their fight against Nightmare Game Master.

1. For Shovel Knight, it is literally his opening attack.

2. Cuphead tricks NGM into thinking his next attack will come from above, only to throw a stool at it.

3. Then, Badeline attacks and grabs its attention. While NGM is distracted by Badeline, which it can not hit, Madeline throws a stool at it from behind.

4. Finally, not wanting to feel left out, Ghost throws a stool at NGM's corpse after dealing the truely cinematic finishing blow.

Does this mean that stools are the key to defeating the Rogues, and the universe or God (Players) or whatever are influeincing our protagonists into using them? Probably not but I still think it's a cool detail.

Some old concept work I did for a game called Open Roads for Annapurna back in 2019. The project’s setting changed time periods from the 60s to the 90s since I did these. These images were a design for the Detective’s office location as well as a pitch for the art style, A sort of 60s advertising illustration look with lots of flat color and lots of detail that retains depth. #
