A/N:

I want to start off by saying that smut chapters will be written and will not be for the faint hearted! So buckle up and enjoy, skip past them or click away now if you're hoping for a strictly non-sexual fanfiction of these two dorks.

When I wrote this fanfiction, I wanted to delve into the mind of Spock, and show the world and his pining through the lens of a Vulcan who views his Human emotions as something to be afraid of. However, I do want to write this from the point of view of James because I would love to show how a man who lives hard and fast can slow down and ease Spock as he ventures to adapt to what love means, even if it means he'll have to go through the pain that accompanies it.

“Look,” Jareth sits up straighter on the bed, “Christine, I’m afraid Sarah and I were going to start a steamy Trilby/Svengali one-shot here and—”

“Jareth!” I push his shoulder and he flinches.

“Shut up, Jareth, and let her sing the song!”

“It’s a hidden track on The Next Day.”
