#JUST SO SHE WOULDN'T HURT JACKIE'S FEELINGS

labels like psychopathy and sociopathy are too hastily ascribed to Shauna Shipman not least of all because, A) all of the #unhinged behaviors & actions we've seen from her are more accurately attributable to a combination of 1) PTSD, 2) post-partum depression, 3) grief, 4) arrested development
AND-- more importantly insofar as it concerns definitions:
B) the key hallmarks of antisocial personality disorder (the clinical term for sociopathy/psychopathy) distinguishing it from mere jerkass behavior are 1) lack of remorse/regret or guilt for past actions, 2) inability to feel empathy* for others.
*empathy: the action of understanding, being aware of, being sensitive to, and vicariously experiencing the feelings, thoughts, and experience of another
two things Shauna is not are unempathetic and unable to feel remorse.
From the moment we meet Shauna as a kid she's writhing in guilt, and--I would argue--empathy. The whole reason she can't bring herself to tell Jackie she's planning on going to Brown is that she knows the disappointment will devastate Jackie and she doesn't want to hurt her best friend's feelings. Yes, she resents herself and especially Jackie for this but Shauna's empathy is what paralyzes her and keeps her from being honest.
Adult Shauna is just as capable of remorse/guilt and empathy:
When Tai shows up at her house and confides in her that she's started sleepwalking again, without Tai even having to ask, Shauna invites her to spend the night and promises to watch over her
after Callie shares with her how Shauna's unwillingness to discuss her past has deeply hurt Callie, Shauna acknowledges how her inability to confront her trauma has hurt her child and immediately tries to make amends by giving Callie what she needs and opening up.
And this is without getting into how Shauna's immense guilt and shame over her actions in the wilderness compelled her to punish herself post-rescue by not going to Brown (her dream school) and instead transforming her life into a living memorial to her dead friend.
Even adult Shauna's most violent action--killing Adam--wasn't an act of cold-blooded murder but rather happened as a result of PTSD-induced psychosis, as evidenced by her hallucinating that her journals are missing from the safe in the first place, and the flash to teen Shauna right after she guts him. She wasn't in her right mind. Does that excuse her? No. But killing someone during a bout of psychosis brought on by untreated PTSD is not the same as intentionally killing someone to solve a problem or in a fit of rage.
Is Shauna a violent person? Yes. Is she a selfish person? Yes. Is she self-destructive? Yes. Does she often behave irresponsibly and inappropriately? Yes. Is she dangerous? YES. But these qualities don't make her a psychopath. She's got too much empathy and is too burdened by guilt to have APD.
Shauna Shipman is what 2 1/2 decades of untreated PTSD & PPD + unresolved grief does to a person

Who do you think is the three most dangerous Yellowjackets and why?
shauna definitely takes first place. she's capable of incredible violence and cruelty in the right circumstances and she's unpredictable so it's kind of impossible to protect yourself i think. the people she got killed (jackie and adam) were people who trusted her and didn't see it coming but strangers are also Not Safe (the guy she threatened with a gun)
misty is second i suppose. she has no moral compass really and if you happen to be in the circumstances where she has power over you i'd start praying. she's shown to be impulsive at times but she can be patient and meticulous While Planning Your Murder so
van is third to me. after some soul searching i decided depending on where s3 takes her she could take misty's place. her death experiences and will to live is like an erosion of her morals and i think she could justify everything if it meant staying alive

I've been thinking more abt raccoon universe Olivia again and I love her sm she's so fun imagine if your wife plagiarized years of your work and then cut you out of her life with no warning and then had the audacity to invite you to work at the company she founded on the basis of the very work she stole from you. Id have considered murder Way sooner than she did Jackie is lucky Olivia went with the thinly veiled threats route for several years before finally getting a bit bloodthirsty
#rat rambles#oni posting#raccoon uni jackie is such a desperate dumbass like girl if your ex who you stole from went this long without publically calling you out#dont fucking invite her to work under you that is not going to fix shit and in fact will make things Way worse#she Did feel incredibly guilty abt what she did to olivia but not nearly enough to have not done it and to actually try to fix shit#and she was even stupid enough to think that olivia might have been willing to let it go when she agreed to work at gravitas#olivia was still clearly pissed at her but at first she was trying to not express it directly so she wouldn't get immediately fired#she needed to become too intregral to the company and to jackies work to be easily disposable#and as she climbed the ranks and contributed more and more to gravitas she slowly became more and more aggressive towards jackie#and as jackie picked up on it more and more she began to freak out more and more#at first she tried to throw more money and resources at olivia as an extension of she shitty attempt at an apology but that didnt help ofc#in fact it mostly just made things worse for jackie as it became abundantly clear that olivia wasnt just still mad but also vengeful#she severely underestimated how much she hurt olivia both professionally and personally#because from olivias perspective jackie didnt just steal her work she also spent years love bombing her and using her only to stab her in#the back the second she stopped being useful#and jackie was the first proper friend and then girlfriend that olivia had ever had and without jackie she had no one to fall back on#and jackie knew this olivia Knows she knows#so even though it was a impulsive decision on jackie's part olivia had no way of knowing that and every reason to feel horribly betrayed#and since jackie kept doing everything except directly apologizing and making real efforts of correcting her wrongs it only strengthened#that narrative to olivia and helped bring her deep stewing rage to a roiling boil#olivia obsessive spiral would reach smth of a tipping point once she realized that jackie had become scared of her#the feeling of having that sort of power over jackie after decades of her being worlds out of reach was intoxicating#and at times olivia hated it. no matter how justified she felt there was always a part of her who hated that she had become someone who was#toying with her prey and enjoying it#but that part of her had already spent years being slowly suffocated by the rage that had come to define her life#jackie and their research weren't just important to olivia they were her Life#and with them gone and stolen from her it left her with nothing but her emotions

you must like me for me [2]
summary: You weren't sure what you did to piss off Shauna Shipman, but you've been on the receiving end of her death glares for just as long as you can remember. If looks could kill you'd certainly be six feet under, but hey–it's kind of hot, right? For better or worse, everything changes after a run-in at a party. Part 1 | Part 3
“Come on,” Nat protests, pointedly glancing at the hickey displayed proudly on your neck. “Spill. Who was it?”
You shake your head with a grin as you look over at her. “Not telling.”
Nat groans exaggeratedly. “Fine. Whoever it is is Shipman-level crazy because I swear haven't seen your neck in weeks–”
She trails off at the sheepish look on your face. “No fucking way. You've been hooking up with Shipman? Shauna Shipman let you get within three feet of her?” You bristle at the utter disbelief in her voice, honestly a little offended, before you decide the disbelief is more on Shauna's personality than your ability to pull her.
“Could you announce it any louder?” You say wryly.
Nat scoffs. “No one would believe it even if they heard it.”
“Yeah, but Shauna would.”
Nat's eyes widen slightly as she glances around to make sure no one hears you. You give her an amused look as she rolls her eyes. “I'm not, like, afraid of her or something. But the last thing I need is for her to sic Jackie on me.”
You nod slowly, and she elbows you in the side in retaliation for your disbelieving hum. You rub at your side with a wince; Nat really could pack a punch when she meant to and– like this time– even when she didn't. Her face softens slightly at the motion, but she doesn't otherwise acknowledge it.
Nat never likes to acknowledge when she feels guilty about something, choosing instead to just bottle it up and stew on it. You think it's dumb to ruminate on something that's already stopped hurting, but you know Nat wouldn't appreciate you acknowledging it.
She's a lot like Shauna in that way, you've realized. You're not quite sure which one of them would win in a brooding contest but you think it might be a close call. It's strange to think about Nat and Shauna being similar in any way, but as you've spent more time with Shauna you've really started to question why you didn't get along well in the first place.
It's not like you've spent a ton of your time together talking– far too occupied by the thought of burying your head between her thighs to exchange pleasantries– but you've really grown to like the snippets of her personality that shine through.
She's argumentative with a mean streak a mile wide, sure, but she offered you a pillow for your knees once so you figured it probably evened itself out. Right? Granted, you only needed the pillow because she kept you kneeling on her hardwood floor as she insisted for another round but you assured yourself it was the thought that counts.
Shauna was sweet in her own way, you reasoned. Sometimes you caught her giving you the sweetest little smile out of the corner of your eye when she thought you couldn't see it, quickly turning it into a frown the second you turned your head fully to face her. She bemoaned your presence in her bed the second you were finished fooling around, but you kept yourself from commenting on the way she immediately wrapped herself around you. Sometimes it pays to be the bigger person for once. Truly you couldn't leave if you wanted to: she's a hell of a lot stronger than she looks.
Shauna never seemed warmer than in the afterglow, almost eager to climb into your lap or hold you on hers. The distance that she was always so careful to put between herself and others made bridgeable for just an instant as she allowed a vulnerability that was as rare as it was captivating. It felt like a privilege to be granted access to her like this, a part of her that she kept under lock and key. In those moments it was just the two of you, like nothing else matters. Like nothing ever mattered but her.
It was the quiet intimacy between you in a few moments of stolen affection that kept you coming back, unable to stop yourself from seeking her out even as you reminded yourself time and time again that it was a bad idea. It was a bittersweet connection you shared, but you can’t find it in yourself to resist it.
In summary, you’re fucked.
You push the thought out of your head, shifting focus abruptly as you elbow Nat back even harder. Nat grunts in pain, almost wheezing as she grabs at her side. She glares at you with teary eyes, but there’s a slight quirk of her lips that betrays a small hint of amusement. She shoves you backward a few steps, but you quickly recover as you start to laugh. That is, until, a force comes slamming into your shoulder and sends you stumbling back.
As you catch your balance again the shock of the collision fades, quickly replaced by blinding anger. You almost swung on her purely on instinct until you caught sight of a flannel-clad arm just in the corner of your vision.
“Oops,” Shauna mutters, voice dripping with insincerity. Your immediate confusion cools the edges of your rage, leaving you on edge and a little unsure as you stare at her. You’ve seen Shauna start plenty of shit, sure, but she’d never even bothered to interact with you at school before. You weren’t even sure what you could have done to set her off this time.
“Sorry, didn’t see you there,” She continues, seeming annoyed at your continued silence. You glare over at her as you rub at your shoulder, but it doesn’t seem to affect her anyway. She stares impassively at you, tilting her head to the side with a sarcastic smile as if daring you to do something about it. Shauna’s nonchalant demeanor does little to alleviate your growing irritation as you stare at her, rolling your eyes before looking around the hallway.
There are a few curious eyes on the both of you, but they quickly look away the second they catch you staring back at them. Students shuffle past and around you, talking aimlessly and oblivious to the standoff between the two of you.
It’s as if Shauna’s testing your patience, a subtle plea for your attention masked under a detached smile. If she wanted to see you lose your composure you certainly weren’t going to give her the satisfaction.
No matter what she was trying to get out of this little stunt– and you’re sure there was a reason for it no matter how impulsive she can act– you're content in knowing you’ve gotten something from it too. She looks so pretty when she tries to stare you down, a growing irritation bubbling on her face as you take a moment to take it all in. Although you resent her attempt to intimidate you, there’s an undeniable allure in her audacity.
Shauna commands your attention even in the busy hallway, standing unperturbed as the crowd parts around her with her shoulders squared and chin lifted in a silent declaration of defiance. There’s an intensity to her eyes that borders on a challenge, a well of determination hidden behind her steely indifference. You meet her gaze head-on, almost smiling as a flash of surprise crosses her face.
You love it when she gets like this. There’s a deliberate wildness to her appearance, a calculated messiness that only entrances you more. She faces you with a practiced air of indifference that does little to hide the barely contained rage just under the surface if only you knew where to look. She constantly teeters just on the edge of control, on the verge of striking out at the slightest provocation. She’s an absolute force of nature, more than willing to take down anything that stands in her way.
Choking down your initial urge to confront her, you take a measured breath before giving her a wry smile. “Watch where you’re going next time,” You say evenly, emphasizing each word.
Shauna’s eyes narrow, her face faltering for just a moment. “Sure thing. My bad,” She replies casually, a hint of mockery in her voice as she tries to bait you again. Her frustration is almost palpable as you let the challenge go unprovoked once again. You shake your head in amusement, tearing your eyes away from her as you turn back to Nat.
Jackie, who’s been looking confusedly back and forth between you, grabs her by the arm and starts trying to drag her down the hallway. “Shauna wasn’t looking where she was going,” Jackie apologizes with a pinched smile.
She seems surprised when Shauna digs her feet in for a moment, tugging again as Shauna finally relents and lets herself be pulled away from you. Jackie’s fingers are wrapped tightly around her forearm as they walk off but Shauna doesn’t even seem to notice it as she finally drags her eyes away from you as they round the corner.
“What the fuck was that?” Nat mutters. You shrug, shoving your hands in your pockets as you feel for the edge of your lighter. You give her an easy smile as you find it, rubbing your thumb aimlessly across the surface as you push off the locker.
“Should probably get to class, yeah?”
Nat stares irritatedly at you for a moment before shrugging.
You tap your foot against the ground impatiently as you lean against the wall outside, starting to regret ever deciding to wait Shauna out. She was later than usual and you were starting to wonder if she was ever going to get out of the locker room. You knew from experience that you had a good twenty minutes in between when Shauna left the locker room and when Jackie did, but then again Shauna usually knew you were waiting for her.
You wondered idly if Shauna was making you wait on purpose, a little power play that you wouldn’t entirely put past her. Sometimes you thought she got some thrill out of knowing you were waiting around for her, but you couldn’t entirely blame this one on her. Maybe she’s gotten caught up in her own little world as she waited around for Jackie, unaware she had someone impatiently waiting for her outside. Still, you had a sneaking suspicion that Shauna wouldn’t be able to resist the urge to sit in her car alone to write angsty prose in her journal while Jackie was busy talking with their coach.
You imagine her now, sitting sideways across the seat with her journal propped up on her knees as her pen moved furiously across the page. It’s a sight you’ve become all too familiar with lately; Even the sound her pen makes as she presses down just hard enough to threaten to rip the page in her anger has become oddly soothing. Despite her hidden penchant for dramatics, you find that there’s a surprising depth to her, one that extends far below the surface of any ideas you’ve previously held about her. There’s just something about her that resonates with you on a visceral level, lingering in your thoughts long even when you’d rather push her aside.
You’re almost embarrassed at how attractive you’ve started to find her brooding. She just feels everything so deeply, and you find yourself captivated and frustrated by it in equal measure as you try to rationalize her behavior. You knew that there had to be some reason behind whatever little stunt she was pulling in the hallway, but for the life of you, you just couldn’t find a reason. You want there to be a reason.
You need there to be a reason, otherwise, she was just pushing you around for no reason. You never thought you’d see the day when you were excusing one of her moody rituals, but you’ve become smitten with her despite your better judgment. Shauna could be mean, as you well knew, but you’ve never known her to be cruel. You so badly want that to be true, even as you keep getting the sneaking suspicion that she’s just toying with–
Ah, footsteps. You grin.
You wait a minute for her to pass by you before you push off the wall, trailing a few steps behind her as she walks toward her car. She turns suddenly as she reaches it, obviously hearing someone walk up behind her. The anger in her eyes fades the second she catches sight of who it is, a moment of unease passing over her face as she sizes you up. “What are you doing here?” She asks, not prepared to find you here and seemingly off balance
“What was that, earlier?” You press, momentarily distracted by the faint sheen of moisture that still clings to her skin after her shower.
Shauna huffs, her eyes rolling as she makes a half-hearted attempt to open the door of her car. You step forward and slam your hand against the top of the door, cutting off her retreat and effectively trapping her between your body and the door. You’re almost annoyed by her lackluster attempt– did she seriously just try to hide in her car? She looks pissed as she glances between you and the door, clearly realizing she’s going to have to confront you one way or the other. You’d take either, honestly, as long as she addressed the tension between you. You were getting sick of letting her set the pace all the time.
Her narrowed eyes betray her irritation as she looks up at you, but there’s a flicker of something else in her expression that only makes you want to push her more. A long moment of silence passes between you, Shauna’s heavy breaths as she tries to reign in her anger the only sound you can hear. This silent confrontation is unfamiliar, a definite departure from your usual dynamic that seems to make Shauna equally uncomfortable. As the seconds tick by, Shauna's seemingly detached confidence begins to falter, revealing the cracks in her armor as she finally gives in.
“What was what?” Shauna asks finally, more uncomfortable with the silence stretching between you than any desire to actually have this conversation. You’ll work with what you get.
“That shit you pulled in the hallway. Seriously, Shipman? You shoulder-checked me.”
“Just a little bump in the road,” She says with a careless wave of her hand, her tone bordering on indifference.
You sputter angrily over your words, hating the way she managed to work you up over nothing. “Seriously? A ‘bump in the road’? That’s your idea of an apology?” You snap.
“Of course not,” She says, giving you a wry smile. Shauna seems to get a perverse sort of pleasure from getting under your skin. You just wish you didn’t make it so easy sometimes. “I wasn’t apologizing.”
“God, Shipman. You’re so fucking irritating I–”
“Shauna!” She snaps, interrupting you mid-sentence and leaving you momentarily flustered. Your eyes narrow in confusion as you try to gather your thoughts.
“What?” You ask dumbly.
“You’ve had your tongue in my mouth. I think you can bear to call me by my name, can’t you?” Her words hang unanswered in the air, and you’re left speechless and a little embarrassed by the implications of her words. You feel a twinge of unease at the declaration, unsure how to respond as you stare blankly at her.
“What? Nothing to say?” She prods, immediately getting self-conscious in your continued silence. An embarrassed Shauna was a dangerous Shauna, as you well know.
“You had so much to say to Nat earlier,” She spits, mockingly imitating a high-pitched laugh.
“Is that what this is, Ship– Shauna? You’re fucking jealous?”
“What? Fuck off.” She scoffs, noticeably not meeting your eyes. You almost laugh in her face. Shauna was many things, but a good liar was certainly not one of them.
“Well, as long as you’re not jealous then,” You say dismissively, on the verge of losing your temper.
“Of course not,” She agrees, nodding solemnly.
You groan, casting a glance away to hide your irritation. There’s just something about her that was constantly leaving you torn between attraction and exasperation. Whatever.
You knew how you could get both out at once. You tilt your head to the side, a questioning look on your face that Shauna quickly answers with a knowing look as she closes the distance between you. Communication may not be your strong suit, but there’s one thing you both seem to excel at.
You press Shauna further up against the car, tilting her head to the side to expose the length of her neck. You press your lips against her neck in a quick kiss, soothing the area before bringing your teeth into play. Shauna cries out at the sting, hands grasping at the back of your shirt as she tries to pull you as close as possible, lost in the feeling.
Her breath starts to come out faster, her chest rising and falling in time with her excitement as her fingers dig into your back. You shudder at the feeling of her nails scraping against your skin through your shirt as she tries to regain some semblance of control over the interaction, but it’s clear from her reaction that she’s rapidly losing that battle. Shauna’s voice cracks halfway through a breathy insult as you nip at the crook of her neck, one hand falling from your shirt as she pulls you closer instead by your belt loops. The movement of her hips is subtle at first, quickly becoming insistent as she parts her thighs. You try not to think about how public it is, or that someone could see it.
She gasps as your teeth mark a trail across her skin, leaving small little marks behind you know she’ll only resent later when she has to try to explain it to Jackie. Unfortunately for her you rather enjoyed being on the receiving end of that rage– there was just something about that fire in her eyes. You catch sight of her, her flushed skin and parted lips taking your breath away.
She comes back to herself for a moment, a heady mix of passion and possession on her face as she takes you in. “Mine,” She whispers, her voice low and rough as she reaches a hand up to tangle it in your hair. She states it like it was a simple fact, and you hate the way that you want to agree with her. It doesn’t seem like she cares much for your opinion either, tugging you down by the hair as she crashes your lips together.
So, yeah. You didn’t quite get the confrontation you wanted this time either. What you did get was having to book it as you heard Jackie making her way toward the car, leaving a flustered Shauna to fix her mused hair and pretend like she hadn’t just been riding your thigh as Jackie rounded the corner. All in all, you consider it a win.
You can't make out the sounds of the argument happening outside the door over the sound of the ringing in your ears, but you weren't in the right mind to care about it anyway. You absently note the thumping sounds of boots making their way down the hallway as you catch sight of your flushed face in the mirror, breath still heavy with exertion as you cling to the edges of the counter with trembling hands. In the more rational part of your mind, you know that the counter isn’t the only thing anchoring you to the moment, but you cling desperately to the semblance of control gained from its unyielding support.
If you were more cognizant you'd be upset about the state of your favorite jacket, sleeves spotted red with the evidence of your anger. You didn’t know whose blood was on your hands, yours or his, but the distinction felt pointless. At the end of the day one of you was bleeding and it was entirely your fault. You exhale shakily, trying to take deep breaths to tame your racing heart as it beats through your chest. You stare into the mirror at your disheveled appearance, face bruised from the few shots he'd managed to land in return before Nat dragged you away. Your reflection gazes back with a mixture of defiance and vulnerability. You're oddly resentful of its silent witness to your emotions, its red-rimmed eyes serving as lasting evidence of your weakness.
The floorboards of the hallway creak as someone takes a heavy step forward, leaving you whirling around at the sound of the door opening behind you. Your eyes narrow as you catch sight of Shauna standing in the doorway, a strange intensity in her eyes as she takes you in. The room feels heavy with the weight of the words left unspoken between you, a strange tension filling you even as you push it from your mind in favor of gripping the counter as you struggle to rein in your emotions. Your hands slide on the slick white countertop, already stained with your bloody fingerprints.
You feel a pang of regret at the sight, quickly replaced by another wave of rage as you remember what started it. Maybe you shouldn't have hit him that hard, but he definitely should have known better than to make Jackie cry. If it hadn't been you it would have been Shauna– which, when you think about it that way, you were sort of doing him a favor in a roundabout way by sparing him from her wrath. She would have done much worse, after all.
You freeze for a moment, a sudden consideration of how your actions must have looked from the outside. God, the last thing you needed was Jackie following you around like a lost puppy. You can almost picture it now, Jackie linking your arms together and talking your ear off while Shauna shook with rage on her other side. Maybe you'd get lucky and Jackie would be too drunk to remember, sparing you from her well-meaning but seemingly suffocating affection.
You were a little resentful that she got involved in the first place. You didn’t need anyone to stand up for you, and if you did it certainly wouldn’t be Jackie Taylor of all people. Still, when he started running his mouth about insults you’ve long since grown immune to, Jackie was the first person to jump to your defense. You weren’t sure quite what you’d done to gain her fervent loyalty, but you weren’t sure you wanted it either. You think you might need to find a way to lose it sooner than later before it gets you into more trouble: you always were a sucker for crying girls.
A hand rests heavily on your shoulder, dragging you forcefully back to reality. You instinctively shrug it off, holding her wrist tightly between your fingers as you turn to face her. The two of you lock gazes for a long moment before you finally look away, loosening your grip but still holding her wrist in your hand. You think for a moment about lacing your fingers but quickly decide against it as you drop her hand entirely. It serves to ease some of your tension, shoulders relaxing as you lean back against the counter to scrutinize her. Shauna’s watching you just as closely, eyes lingering on the developing bruises on your face before settling on your hands.
You sigh as you turn back around, turning the tap on as you try to clean your hands off. “Where's Nat?”
“Managed to run her off,” Shauna says, stepping up to the side of the sink to watch.
“Nat's not one to be pushed around. Must've tricked her into thinking you aren't a heinous bitch.”
She shrugs, the quirk of her lips betraying her amusement. “It’s a gift.”
You scoff, letting it go unanswered as you gently dry your hand off. Shauna looks disappointed as you pull your now clean hand out, an unsubtle motion you’re too nervous to question.
“Why’d you do that?” She asks finally, her voice tinged with an unusual hint of urgency.
“Do what?”
She doesn’t relent, gaze piercing as she presses on for an explanation. “Start a fight over Jackie.”
“Who says I did it for her? Did you hear what he called me?” You deflect, starting to walk out of the bathroom before Shauna grabs tightly to your wrist and turns you around. You meet her eyes with practiced disinterest, hoping to avoid this line of questioning. You weren’t sure she’d like your answer, far too tangled in emotions she prefers not to address. You consider just saying it outright, putting the truth out there and making her deal with it however she wants. But the moment soon passes, too afraid of it blowing up in your face.
There are a lot of questions you want to ask her that you know she’ll only sidestep, distracting you with glimpses of skin till you relent– it’s almost nice to be the one withholding answers for once.
“You’re so frustrating, you know that? You give me such a headache.”
“Is that why you’re always in such a shitty mood?” You quip, unable to resist the urge so clearly presented to you. You smirk as you watch her reaction. Her jaw clenches, a flash of irritation crossing her face before she looks away. She’s tense for a moment before nodding stiffly. There’s a strange vulnerability in her begrudging acknowledgment, seeming almost impressed.
Shauna reaches for your face with deliberate slowness, like she hadn’t quite made her mind up on touching you before she started reaching. Despite your initial urge to back away you decide to let her, tilting your head along with the motion of her hand as she directs your chin from side to side to get a good look at you. The weight of her eyes is almost suffocating as she closely examines the contours of your face. She carefully traces the bruises with her fingertips, a surprising tenderness that you’ve only come to expect after hookups.
It feels strangely out of place now, leaving you stiff and unsure as you allow the gentle caress. You can’t help but wonder what she’s looking for if she’s searching for signs of weakness or simply concerned. It’s a complex thought and one that you don’t usually allow yourself. What if?
“You looked hot,” She says absently, snatching her hands away from your face as if the admission burned her.
She looks as surprised as you feel, her mouth opening and closing before settling on a simple, albeit cutting remark. “Hope your face gets better. It’s the only thing you’ve got going for you.”
The comment stings just like she knew it would, but the flicker of regret on her face is far more interesting. You find yourself holding your breath, daring to hope that she might finally say something real.
Shauna stops in the doorway, looking like she wants to say something else before she shakes her head and turns on her heels. You stare in her direction as she disappears from view, the sound of her footsteps carrying to the stairs until all you’re left with is silence.

the yellowjackets when you wear their shirts would include...
Hi, I promised I would come back and I just disappeared, I'm really sorry! As I mentioned before, my computer has been having huge problems, and I've tried to fix it before, but it looks like I'm going to have to format it after all.
In the meantime, I've got a laptop abandoned at home and I'm trying to write on it. Half the delay was because I was trying to adjust to the new method and the other half because I really had no idea for these requests and giving you shitty stuff would not be fair at all.
Ok, so here we go, probably for a wave of headcannons with other fandoms (AHS fans, I promise I'll answer all of your asks, don't worry!
Enjoy!
Requests will be a little closed for a while just until I get my act together! Sorry for the delay and closing!
If you can also let me know in the replies if you want more prompts and headcannons with the yellowjackets, I would appreciate it! And let me know if you want me to include Travis or\and Coach Ben on it too...
--------------------------
Jackie Taylor
Tumblr media
I don't think Jackie would make a fuzz about it. Alright, she would probably be surprised on the first day. But because she's supposedly the most popular girl in school, she's even happy that you're being influenced by her style, after all, that's what popular girls are for, right?
It will also depend a lot on your relationship. If you are friends, for example, Jackie will insist on letting you take some clothes that no longer fit her. And if you're dating, she'll make sure to tease you as much as she can until you express the reaction that pleases her the most.
"You look beautiful, (Y\N), my style really suits you, like I always said."
Shauna Shipman
Tumblr media
Shauna wouldn't mind too much about you wearing her clothes either, but unlike Jackie, I think she'd be pretty insecure about commenting on it, kind of afraid that it would make you stop wearing it, and also, of course, due to her internal issues with herself.
But Shauna would find it incredibly adorable, though, and would give you some signs that she liked the offbeat idea, her way. This includes not-so-subtle glances while you're wearing the fabric, or some clothes, which are her favorites as well, laid out on the bed when you come to visit… Little details that let you know that Shauna isn't bothered at all therefore.
I mean, unless it's her flannels, these inseparable fucking flannels… Those no one can take, not even a significant other.
"Uh… You look cute, (Y\N), in my outfit… I like it."
Natalie Scatorccio
Tumblr media
I don't think Natalie would mind you wearing her clothes. In fact, I think it would be a good opportunity for her to take advantage of this and tease you as much as she can. She will do anything to make you self-conscious and blush, but not in a bad way. Like, that's just her love language.
And, let's face it, Natalie is needy enough not to let her scent wash off her clothes when you take them off. On nights when she needs to sleep alone, if you're dating, she'll purposefully grab one of her pieces of clothing and smell in the scent to keep you close.
"Hey, sweetie, lookin' pretty, huh? Is this outfit mine by any chance?"
Taissa Turner
Tumblr media
I'm a hundred percent sure that Tai would be one of those people who abominate clichés, unless she's doing it herself. So, at first, this idea of sharing clothes with her significant other is something she would find completely silly. The first time, she would just kindly tell you to stop it, in a way that doesn't hurt your feelings (I love a soft-hearted Tai, don't judge me!).
But then, as time goes on, I'm also one hundred percent sure that Tai would buy clothes in her style that exclusively fit you. It's kind of her guilty pleasure, since spoiling you is one of her most practiced love languages. And well, considering the tantrum she threw the first few times, how much you've evolved is impressive.
"Okay honey, which one do you want to wear today?"
Lottie Matthews
Tumblr media
Okay, get ready for the biggest love bomb you've ever received in your life. Lottie would be completely adorable about your wearing her clothes, and not only would she not mind at all, she would make a point of convincing you that you are one of the lost paintings by one of the famous artists of past centuries, or something like that.
In fact, it's kind of a headcannon on my part that Lottie doesn't have her own style and that she's always looking for something that makes her belong somewhere (some clothes in her teens she wore because of her mother's influence, just because it would please her, you know? )
So, seeing you wearing the dresses that she finds extremely over the top, or the blouses that have too much detail and too little simplicity, is like one of the greatest achievements of her life, if not the greatest. I don't think Lottie ever liked that flashy style more than when you started stealing it from her.
"Wow, wow, wait a minute! Wow, (Y\N), I think you wearing this made me a hundred times more in love with you! Wear it more, babe. You can wear my clothes as much as you like."
Van Palmer
Tumblr media
(Okay, since Liv identifies as they\them, I'm going to change the pronouns for this one, hope you don't mind!)
Van and Natalie would have the same approach when it comes to stealing their clothes. But, I think, as an honest opinion, Van would turn this more into a flirting game than anything else. They are simply obsessed (it reads turned on) when you wear something of theirs.
And of course, this opens the door for some good teasing that will inevitably end in making out. Like, how would you handle it, with Van looking you up and down and smirking with that smile you're completely drawn to every time? It's almost impossible for nothing to happen.
I'm also pretty sure that if you were dating, they wouldn't let you have only your clothes in your closet or in your bags. There would always have to be three or more pieces of them that you could use as much or as little as you wanted.
"Wow! Watch out, everyone! There's an extremely hot living being crossing the room, and look what a coincidence, they're wearing my clothes!"
Misty Quigley
Tumblr media
Misty would probably have the best reaction ever. Then she, who was always ridiculed for her attitudes and style, having someone who was able to wear her clothes as if they were completely ordinary. Are you kidding? You'll practically make her day if you do something like that!
Obviously, she would be embarrassed and reluctant to ask you the first time why you were doing it, but Misty Quigley has two sides to the coin, and one of them being the impulsive side, I think that would be the one that would beat her to the courage. And your response of the type "because I love your style" would simply keep her up all night.
By the next morning, her entire circle of potential friends would have known about it…
"OH MY GOD! Are these… are these my clothes? Okay, now you really need to let me do your makeup, (Y\N)!"
Laura Lee
Tumblr media
(Same thing as Liv\Van, but I don't really know if Laura Lee would use neutral pronuns... It's all because of Jane Widdop, our baby!)
Laura Lee would be pretty surprised if you showed up wearing their clothes, and honestly, I don't think there would be any malice on their part when you did. More than a possible sign that they could be more than friends to you, this would mean that you could, above all, be friends.
They would find it extremely sweet, actually, the effort and dedication you put into choosing an item of clothing that they loved, but was also comfortable for you. In short, Laura Lee would just adore you even more, if that were even possible!
"Oh! Oh! I can't believe it! You look beautiful wearing this, (Y\N). In God's eyes and mine mostly."

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐌𝐎𝐕𝐄 [𝐓𝐖𝐎] — 𝐉𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐈𝐄 𝐓𝐀𝐘𝐋𝐎𝐑
Tumblr media
one / masterlist / wattpad
summary: when you find yourself in a situation where you want to kiss Jackie, you're not sure you can make the first move. A fact made even harder when Nat is there to tease you about it.
warning/s: none really.
author's note: here's part 2! hope you like it whilst i sort through a ton of wips lol
Tumblr media
I nodded along as Taissa was telling me about a colourful bird she'd seen earlier. We were eating some deer stew together outside the cabin, with the other girls settling down for dinner too, and it was basically a five star dinner with what we had out here.
"It was so pretty," Taissa finished. "And I swear it was following me."
I tried not to laugh. "Tai, I think you might have officially just lost it if the highlight of your day was a bird following you."
"Oh, shut up!" she said with a laugh, smacking me on the arm.
"Hey, don't take it out on my dinner!" I said lightheartedly, clutching my bowl of stew tightly with my one good hand.
"Idiot," she mumbled, but was smiling still.
"Hey, guys," Jackie said, joining us. "What did I miss?"
"Tai here was telling me about a pretty bird that wouldn't stop following her," I said with an amused smile, and it wasn't even an attempt at teasing her, but she nudged me again anyway.
"Quit it!" she warned, before giving Jackie a look. "It was so cool, Jackie."
"She's lost her mind," I told Jackie as she sat down opposite us with her dinner.
Jackie chuckled as she let Taissa tell her the story, and I stayed quiet as I heard it again. After Jackie gave her surprisingly positive input that didn't make fun of it, we all finished dinner and were about to get up together when Van called for Taissa, wanting her for something.
"It's okay, you go, I've got it," I told her, holding out my bowl. "Just put yours here."
"Thanks, Y/N," Tai said with a smile before stacking her bowl in mine, then looking to Van. "I'm coming!"
Joining Jackie, the two of us walked to the washing up area together when, suddenly, someone – I think it was Javi – ran past me and made me stumble backwards into Jackie. I bumped my broken arm in the process, making me curse as I inhaled sharply at the shooting pain up my shoulder.
"Watch where you're going!" Jackie yelled after Travis, who was running after his brother for God knew what reason.
"Come here," Jackie said softly, leading me to the steps of the porch of the cabin to sit down.
She took the bowls from my hand and set them to the side before leaning down before me, her hazel eyes searching mine worriedly.
"You okay?" she asked.
I breathed out slowly, trying to imagine the pain leaving my body, but the abruptness of the shove had hurt pretty bad. "Yeah, I think so."
She sighed, shaking her head. "They're jerks."
"It's fine," I said dismissively, knowing it was an accident.
She frowned, eyes flickering between mine, and I was forced to look away because I hated the sudden attention, my cheeks flushing at it. After what felt like forever, she grabbed the bowls from beside me and stacked them in hers.
"I've got this," she said, squeezing my knee comfortingly before standing up.
When she walked away, I let out a quiet breath of relief, not realising how nervous I'd been. So maybe this crush thing wasn't so fun anymore.
With crushing on Jackie meant wondering if she even liked me back, a question I wasn't sure I wanted to know the answer to. Sometimes I'd feel like she did, whether it be her lingering glances or ability to make me flustered, but then I'd second guess it as her personality and feel stupid for even considering otherwise.
For example, one time I was playing cards with Coach Scott when the blonde found me, asking to join in. So, we let her and played a few rounds of Go Fish before coach's leg was hurting and he left to take a nap.
"You wanna play acorn soccer?" Jackie asked with a playful glint in her eye.
I chuckled at the immediacy of her question. "Sure, why not?"
As we packed the cards away and left them on the side, I glanced around, noticing a few of the other girls were free.
"Should we ask the others?" I asked Jackie before we headed off.
She pretended to consider it. "We could... or we could save the hassle and just stick to us two?"
"Jackie!" I scolded lightheartedly.
"What?" she played along, flashing me a smile. "Someone's just gonna complain and then they'll spoil the fun. I like when it's just us."
I sighed, but gave her a small smile. "Fine. Let's go."
She grinned and led the way, and I had no choice but to follow her. It warmed my heart to know she enjoyed our time together too, but it was also one of those moments where I couldn't tell if I was seeing more into it than there was.
Luckily for me, I received an unbiased opinion on the matter without even asking for it. After Jackie and I played some acorn soccer together, we returned to the cabin before dinner and Jackie left to go catch up with Shauna. As I hung around to help with the fire, Nat found me.
"Hey," I greeted her with a smile. "You just come back from hunting?"
"Uh-huh," she said, before studying me curiously. "I have a question for you, Y/L/N."
Intrigued, I nodded encouragingly. "Shoot."
She knitted her eyebrows together with curiosity. "Since when did you and Jackie become so friendly?"
I shrugged, tossing some wood into the fire.
"Ever since she's been hanging out with you, she's been... nicer," she decided. "What d'you do?"
I gave her a disapproving look. "She was never mean, Nat, c'mon."
Nat weighed it up. "I guess, but sometimes she could be a real b–"
"Nat!" I smacked her arm gently, making her laugh.
"Look, all I'm saying is that girl is different," she said, motioning to the blonde who was chatting with Shauna, thankfully not in earshot of us. "And she definitely likes something about you."
"What can I say? I'm pretty likeable," I said jokingly.
She smirked knowingly. "Not like that, Y/N."
I lost my smile as she left me to it, wondering if she was right. I'd always thought it, but maybe if Nat was seeing it too then I wasn't going insane?
A few days later, I was helping Mari to hang some wet clothes on the washing line we'd strung up when something caught my attention.
"And where've you been?" Van asked someone, and I wouldn't have been intrigued if it weren't for the nonchalant response.
"Nowhere," Jackie replied, clearing her throat.
Curious, I glanced over my shoulder and saw Jackie returning to the cabin from somewhere or the other. The strange bit was seeing her clothes a little dirty, earth staining her denim shorts and white shirt. It was very unlike her to be so unkempt and dishevelled, from the mess of her hair to the mud on her nails. As the only one of us who seemed to actually still care how she looked, this was very out of the ordinary.
"Seriously?" I asked, reading Van's thoughts.
Jackie shrugged, wiping her hands on her shorts before heading around back, no doubt to wash off. I exchanged confused looks with Van before resuming with my job. Weird.
Struggling to sleep was something that hadn't really gotten better as time went on. You'd think it would considering it had been a month since we'd crashed here, but it was quite literally a hit and miss to whether I could actually fall asleep or not. And even then, at most, I'd get around five hours.
Tonight wasn't any different, and I was getting tired of the tossing and turning and forcing my eyes closed, so I accepted defeat and got up from my spot to sit in front of the fire. It was getting a little chillier in the air, the nights a little colder, and I feared what would happen when summer was over. But I tried not to overthink it right now, instead watching the wood burn a hot orange, embers crumbling off in the fireplace.
I sat there, hoping I'd succumb to fatigue soon enough, and then ten minutes passed and I heard movement from behind me.
"What are you doing?" It was Jackie, and she was yawning as she took a seat beside me, blanket hugging her.
Feeling bad, I said, "You don't need to–"
"Are you in pain?" she asked, waking up some more as she studied my expression.
"No," I breathed out, to which she relaxed. "Just couldn't sleep. Did I wake you?"
Another yawn, this time she tried to stifle it, and she shook her head. I wasn't stupid though, a frown on my lips.
"You can go back to sleep," I reassured her, in case she felt any moral obligation to be here.
Sly smile on her lips, she tilted her head to look at me. "Eager to get rid of me?"
I rolled my eyes, a smile tugging at my lips, and she chuckled quietly as to not wake anyone.
She nudged me with her shoulder, taking on a serious approach. "What's up?"
I stared back at the fire, finding it easier to tell the truth when I wasn't looking at her. "Just a lot on my mind."
"Like?"
Sighing quietly, I said, "This. My arm. Being rescued. It's been a month, Jackie."
She fell quiet, exhaling softly. "I know."
I wasn't sure why, but hearing the defeat in her voice only confirmed my fears – that we might be stuck here forever. Frowning, I looked down at my arm, remembering the day we crashed. The day everything broke down. The last day of our old life, but the first of our new one. How depressing.
"I had a dream about a cheeseburger last night," Jackie suddenly spoke, surprising me at the randomness of her comment.
"What?"
"Yeah," she continued like it was normal, nodding, "it was fresh from the grill, had cold lettuce, pickles, onions, tomatoes, that really good burger sauce with the bits of pickle in–"
"Jackie," I stopped her.
She looked to me, confused and almost offended that I'd interrupted. "What?"
Bizarre, that's what she was, and it made me laugh. Worried I'd woken up the others, I looked around, thankful that everybody was still fast asleep, and looked back to Jackie with a stifled smile.
"What are you going on about?" I asked her in a low voice.
The fire was casting shadows across her face, making the glimmer of gold in her hazel eyes shimmer as she spoke. "There were fries too. Hot and crispy and perfectly salted."
"Thanks," I said sarcastically, though smiling. "Now you've just made me hungry."
She laughed quietly, looking to the fire with approval. "Better than sad."
My smile didn't disappear as I admired her profile, the curve of her jaw, the soft smile imprinted on her face, her hair that was still messy from being asleep. I could have watched her forever, sat there like that, but then I noticed something stuck in her hair. A remnant of a leaf or something.
"You've got something in your hair," I said in a hushed voice, and she lifted a brow as she glanced at me.
"Huh?"
Figuring it was easier to get it out myself, I leaned forward and used my fingers to gently remove the leaf from behind her ear. She stayed still as I did, then I flicked it in the fire before looking back to her, realising she was watching me closely. It could have been the quiet of the night, the crackling of the fire, the proximity between us, but I was amazed by her beauty, eyes taking in her whole expression.
I was close enough to make out the freckles dusting her nose, her earth-coloured eyes which were focused on mine, even the pinkness of her lips as she licked them subconsciously, making my heart race in my chest. It would have been so easy to lean forward, to close the gap and kiss her, but I was terrified. What if Nat was wrong?
What if she was right?
No, I wasn't bold enough to make the first move. If Jackie wanted this – which, the longer she didn't move away from me made me feel like she did – she'd have to do it. Like the wimp I was, I pulled back, looking away. She sighed as she looked back to the fire, and if I couldn't sleep before, I definitely couldn't now.
"Thanks for staying up with me," I said, "but you should sleep."
"So should you," she retorted.
"I promise, I'll try," I said, before standing up and returning to my bed.
She did the same, the two of us tucking ourselves in a few beds over from one another. My heart was hammering away as I laid down, thoughts of Jackie infiltrating my head.
"Goodnight," she whispered.
I swallowed thickly. "Goodnight."
If wanting to kiss Jackie Taylor one time wasn't bad enough, having Nat tease me was even worse. She never outright said anything to me since telling me what she thought that one time, but she was certainly enjoying watching me squirm. Especially one evening, when we were all settled around the campfire.
I had my blanket wrapped around me as I sat close to the fire, appreciating the warmth. It wasn't super cold out tonight, but it was comforting nonetheless. Nat was sat on my right, a space between us, and then Jackie appeared, glancing down at me with a smile.
"This seat taken?" she asked.
Before I could even answer, Nat glanced at me with a stifled smirk, and I knew what she was thinking which made me embarrassed all over again.
Trying to ignore Nat, I answered Jackie, "No, go for it."
She grinned and sat in the space between us, and I gave her the other side of my blanket which she wrapped around her shoulders. It wasn't huge though, and she was forced to sit a little closer, close enough for me to make out the smell of the perfume she still spritzed on every morning for a sense of normalcy. It was distracting, as was the feeling of her arm and leg pressed up to mine, and I willed myself to snap out of it.
Suddenly, some of the girls were cheering on the other side of the fire, and then I tuned in when I realised they'd agreed to play a game of truth or dare. Nothing like a typical dumb party game to get everyone's minds off being stranded in the wilderness, right?
Admittedly, it was a little funny going around the circle and watching the stupid dares involving the girls drinking moonshine and flashing themselves, or listening to the amusing truths about someone stealing money from their parents or lying on school tests. For a moment, it was like we really were just at a dumb party.
Then it was my turn to go and Mari asked me if I wanted to pick truth or dare.
"Hmm," I thought aloud, being sure to choose wisely. "I guess I pick dare. I mean, how bad can it be when I only have one working arm?"
"Wanna bet?" Van threatened playfully, a devilish smile on her face which made all the other girls laugh.
Smiling with amusement, I didn't doubt her ability to make a fool of me, broken arm or not. "Damn, truth it is."
Everybody fell quiet as they thought of something to ask, and I wasn't worried in the slightest until Lottie decided to speak.
"This is such a go-to, I'm surprised it hasn't been asked," she said with a chuckle, before looking at me. "Do you have a crush right now? Maybe a long lost love back home?"
My smile was still on my lips, though wanting to disappear as I blinked and became acutely aware of everyone's eyes on me, especially the blonde beside me who was very much the root of my crush.
"Nope," I said as convincingly as I could, making everyone groan at my boring answer.
I truly believed I'd gotten away with it until I looked to Jackie beside me as she was next, but instead caught sight of Nat's mischievous grin beside her. Swallowing thickly, I pretended she wasn't there and looked back to Jackie who was already considering her answer as Mari asked the question.
"Truth," she chose excitedly.
"Oh, I've got a good one," Van said eagerly, before fixing Jackie with a curious look. "What's the most disgusting thing you've done since being here?"
A few girls snickered, and I hid a smile as I awaited Jackie's answer. Everybody knew Jackie acted like a princess, so this must've been good.
Jackie thought about it for a moment, looking up in consideration, before she scrunched her nose with disgust. "Okay, nobody kill me," she disclaimed, piquing everyone's interest, "but I accidentally used someone else's toothbrush one time."
Almost instantly, everybody began to talk over one another, demanding to know whose toothbrush she'd used, but Jackie wasn't having it.
"I don't know whose brush it was!" she exclaimed, embarrassed and avoiding everyone's eyes. "I answered your truth and there's no follow up questions. Also, you should really keep your things out of the communal areas. Just saying."
I suppressed the urge to laugh as a few girls scoffed with disbelief. Jackie glanced at me, both embarrassed and amused, a smile on her lips.
"Okay, Nat, you're up next," Mari moved on. "Truth or dare?"
Nat leaned back on her hands as she answered nonchalantly. "Truth."
"I've got a good one," Shauna said, entertained smile aimed at Nat. "Who do you think has lied tonight?"
Everybody began to 'ooh' at her question, knowing it would be the start of some drama which we had so little of out here. I didn't consider it much, until Nat answered without missing a beat.
"Y/N."
I widened my eyes at her response, looking past Jackie and to a smirking Nat. Everybody was watching the two of us like a tennis match.
"What? Why?" I asked Nat calmly, not wanting to betray anything.
Nat only shrugged indifferently. "Dunno. It just can't be true that you don't have a crush."
I kept my cool as I said, "Well, it is."
"Maybe," Nat said, "but I don't believe it."
"Well, you're wrong," I said a little too quickly.
She laughed, unbothered by my defensiveness. "Okay. It's just my opinion."
My cheeks were flaming as I looked to the fire with embarrassment.
"Doesn't matter anyway," Nat added as an afterthought, enjoying tormenting me. "There'd be no way of you letting your crush know. It's not like they're here, right?"
I hoped Jackie couldn't feel the heat exuding from my skin as I sat there silently, distracting myself with my bottle of water and unable to respond to Nat's teasing. Thankfully, the subject was changed with the next person's turn, and I reminded myself to kill Nat later. She was enjoying this a little too much.
Once we'd gone around the circle once, it was getting late and a little nippy outside, so a few girls began to leave. Nat was one of them, winking at me playfully as she walked past, and just as I rolled my eyes, Jackie looked to me with confusion.
"What was that about?"
"Just Nat being Nat," I mumbled.
Unconvinced, she continued to stare at me with furrowed brows. "What was she doing earlier? Why did she say you were lying?"
"What?" I said, hoping to buy some time as I thought of a reason, because I definitely didn't expect her to say anything about it. "Oh, nothing. She was just trying to be funny."
Jackie licked her lips before pursing them. I thought she'd drop it, but then she narrowed her eyes at me suspiciously.
"Is it Nat? Your supposed crush?"
I almost choked on my spit. "What?"
Her expression softened. "Is that why she was teasing you? Because you like her?"
Shaking my head instantly, I said, "No, no. That's literally not it at all. If anything, Nat is a pain in my arse."
Jackie hummed quietly, looking back at the fire which was on its way to burning out. I exhaled with relief, finding it ironic that she thought it was Nat who I liked. Oh, how wrong she was.
"So, whose toothbrush was it?" I asked, changing the subject, knowing she was lying earlier.
She paused. "Misty's."
I snorted with amusement. "Yeah, she would've killed you if she found out."
Jackie smiled in agreement, hiding her laugh. I couldn't seem to look away, lost in her stunning profile, lit up by the fire. It was deja vu. Her blonde hair appeared golden, her eyes a kaleidoscope of green and brown, and her lips... they were pink and soft and I wanted to kiss her again, just like last time.
She suddenly turned to look at me, soft smile gracing her lips, and I was too warm in this blanket, our bodies so close that I wouldn't be surprised if she could feel the heat from my skin, a consequence of how nervous she was making me with a simple glance. All I had to do was lean in, but I couldn't.
"I think you're lying too," she muttered with amusement.
Dumbfounded, I asked, "What?"
She clarified, "About not having a crush."
I raised my eyebrows, making her chuckle quietly before patting my leg.
"C'mon, it's cold," she said, before standing up and leaving me with me the blanket, probably assuming I would follow her.
But I was too surprised at what she'd said. That was a hint, right? She knew? She knew I liked her?
Should I have kissed her?
I wet some scrap material in the lake, my only source for something cold in the wilderness, and carefully wrapped my broken but healing arm in it. It acted as a terrible ice pack, but I sighed with relief at the cool feeling.
It had been a month and a half since we'd been stranded, a month and a half since my arm broke. I couldn't be sure it was healing correctly, since it still hurt when I moved it and looked a little weird, but the swelling was gone and I didn't need to rely so much on the limited medication we had.
Still, I couldn't do everything I wanted to and I really missed having two working arms. Even now, as I looked out at the lake and saw some of the others swimming in the water, I was jealous. God, I was so bored. Even a swim would be nice, but I physically couldn't.
Instead, I took a spot by the shore and laid on my back, using my arm to shield the sun from my eyes and have a little nap. I didn't completely doze off, just enough to tune out my surroundings for a little while, but then I felt a shoe gently kick at my leg.
"Huh? What?" I asked tiredly, lowering my arm.
Jackie was stood above me, eager smile on her face. I hated the way the butterflies began to swirl in my stomach, all because the sun crafted her silhouette so perfectly. Stupid. Crush.
"I've got a surprise for you," she said.
I sat upright, rubbing my eye. "What does that even mean?"
"Come find out," she exclaimed, before grabbing my hand without warning and pulling me up.
"Jackie–"
"Close your eyes," she instructed with a suppressed grin.
I gave her a disapproving look. "Seriously?"
She shook my arm encouragingly. "C'mon! You're gonna love it. I hope."
Very curious and also still a little out of it from my nap, I decided to entertain her and closed my eyes. She didn't let go of my hand as she dragged me somewhere carefully. I wasn't sure where at first, but then the ground was full of grass and sticks, and leaves were skimming my bare arms the further she led me, and I guessed we were back in the woods.
"Okay, we're here," she said suddenly, stopping abruptly. "Open."
I sighed, opening my eyes and blinking a few times. We were at the usual spot we played acorn soccer in, and I didn't know what the surprise was, but then I saw it. It was some sort of goal or net made of sticks twisted together in an awkwardly shaped dome, about the height of my knee and the width of my outstretched arms.
"What is this?" I asked with an amazed smile, running forward to study it closely.
"You gotta have a target, right?"
I laughed. "This is sick, Jackie!"
She chuckled from behind me. "I'm glad you like it."
"Wait," I realised, turning around to look at her. "Is this what you've been doing?"
It explained why she would sometimes return to the cabin looking a little messy, but I never expected her to be building this. DIY wasn't really her thing.
"Why? You been keeping tabs?" she teased, crossing her arms.
I sighed softly, thinking back to the first time I'd said that to her. Funnily enough, in this very spot.
"You're such an idiot," I said, rolling my eyes playfully, before moving forward to hug her.
She returned it before asking, "Wanna test it out?"
I stared at her with an obvious look. "Duh!"
She grinned and we returned to our usual positions for acorn soccer, though this time we had an actual 'net' and it raised the stakes in the best way possible. I still couldn't believe she'd done this for me.
As I dribbled the acorn 'ball', throwing in some fancy footwork just to annoy Jackie, she put her foot out and I tripped over it, hitting the ground instantly. It didn't hurt, though was definitely surprising, but I thought it would be funny to make Jackie feel bad anyway.
"Ow!" I shouted, rolling onto my back and pretending to clutch my broken arm.
Her expression transformed into one of concern as she gasped. "Oh, shit, are you okay?! I didn't mean to–"
I pushed my foot out slightly before she could finish, easily knocking her forward onto the ground, landing right next to me with a thud. Laughter spilled from my mouth almost instantly, only increasing when she lifted her head to playfully glare at me, a dirt mark on her cheek.
"You asked for it," I said knowingly, before sitting upright.
I offered her my hand as she sat up too, legs intertwined with mine as she wiped her hands onto her shorts.
"Did I actually hurt you?" she asked, tilting her head towards me with a smile.
"You did not," I assured her with amusement, making her sigh with defeat.
"Not funny," she pointed out, which was hard to believe when her eyes were sparkling with anything but seriousness.
I snickered, before my eyes fell to the dirt mark on her cheek. "You've got a little something..."
Motioning to my cheek, she furrowed her brows and lifted her hand to her own to try and get it, but she missed.
"What?"
"Just right–"
"Here?"
I scoffed lightheartedly before using my thumb to get rid of it for her, wiping it away in a few swipes. I had to cup her jaw as I did, not even realising what I was doing until she exhaled softly and her breath dusted my lips. I paused, eyes flickering to hers, and that feeling came back, along with the nerves that always accompanied them. She looked between my eyes before hers fell to my lips, and mine did the same. I wanted to lean in, so so badly, but as usual, my body became paralysed with fear. Why was this so hard?
Like the wimp I was, I was about to let go of her jaw and pull away, ready to pretend this never happened. But she surprised me when she spoke up.
"Just do it."
I blinked, surprised, briefly meeting her half-lidded gaze, and that was all the confirmation I needed. Pushing away my fears, I finally leaned in, kissing her. She sighed into my mouth, moving her hand to the back of my neck to pull me even closer, and I had goosebumps all over at the feeling of her lips on mine. It was slow, long-awaited and wonderful, and I regretted not making a move sooner.
When we pulled apart, my heart was racing and I opened my eyes, only to be submerged in pools of hazel.
"Getting a kiss from you is like pulling teeth, I swear," she murmured, lips curving into a satisfied smile.
Flushing with embarrassment, I cleared my throat and let go of her. "Nothing stopped you from making the first move, y'know."
"And do all the work?" she asked rhetorically. "I left so many hints. I thought you would've taken them."
"I wasn't sure," I admitted, lips still tingling. She rolled her eyes teasingly, but I continued, "I couldn't be sure. Not with you. Not for me."
"You still sound doubtful," she noticed, smile fading a little.
I wasn't sure what to say because a small part of me still was. Accepting that Jackie Taylor had wanted me to kiss her was something I wasn't sure I'd ever get used to.
Suddenly, she kissed me again, brief but enough to have me second guessing my own name. When she pulled away, a knowing smile was on her lips.
"How about now?" she asked, and all I could do was swallow hard with warm cheeks.
She laughed before helping me up off the ground. We dusted ourselves off and then she held out her hand towards me.
"Let's head back," she said, and I smiled as I accepted her hand.
We walked back to the cabin, me personally feeling like I was on cloud nine because the girl I liked actually liked me back.
"So, the thing with Nat," Jackie brought up as we headed back. "The crush and the lying thing. That was about me?"
Oh, God, why was everything so embarrassing?
"Yes," I admitted reluctantly. "She was teasing me because she knew I wouldn't make a move."
This made Jackie chuckle. "She wasn't wrong."
I shot her a sideways glance. "Thanks for the reminder."
"Oh, c'mon," she said between laughter, "don't pout."
I rolled my eyes lightheartedly. "It's fine, don't worry. Let's just all laugh at Y/N because she couldn't kiss the girl, ha, ha, ha."
Jackie kept laughing, though I knew it wasn't out of spite. Besides, at least I'd finally made a move. That was all that mattered.
At least, it did for the next two minutes until we reached the cabin and I saw Nat sat on the steps, taking note of the two of us holding hands.
"And here we go," I whined to myself.
Jackie's smile, still on her face from the amusement of my inability to make the first move, faded as she glanced between Nat and I.
"Hey, Nat!" she called to the blonde, confusing me and earning her attention.
As soon as Nat looked our way properly, Jackie let go of my hand and kissed me, cupping my face between her hands  and taking her time. I was so surprised when she pulled away, as was Nat, not expecting her to be so outright with it.
"What–"
"Anything to add?" Jackie cut me off, instead looking to Nat with a quirked brow that dared her to tease me.
Nat shook her head. "Not at all. Huh."
Satisfied, Jackie smiled sweetly and I was sure my face was hot with embarrassment. I probably should've seen that coming, but also, how could I have?
"Good job," Nat said to me as she walked past us, impressed smile on her lips.
I blinked, before looking to Jackie. "Erm, thanks?"
"Hey, she may have been right, but only I get to tease you about it," she said in a way that sounded like she was joking but I knew she wasn't.
I breathed out, small smile on my face. I may have been the shy one, but at least I had Jackie to rely on. It's not like I'd ever have to make the first move again anyway. The hard part was over.

Omg what is reader (weirdkid) building 👀👀👀
Clark looked around and frowned, "Where's Y/N, is she sick or-"
"She's camping," Bruce said simply. "She discharged her contract with Wayne Enterprises and decided not to renew it."
Immediately, journalistic antennae started twitching. Where there was the playboy, there was his pretty friend. Egging him on. Where there was Batman there was someone to make him gadgets.
"Why?" Clark asked, trying to keep his tone light.
"Creative differences," Bruce said shrugging. "But she'll still work for the JLA if called upon."
Clark felt his eyes narrow as Bruce turned away to pour a drink for him. Lying. Bruce was lying. You hadn't run off to the hinterlands because Bruce wouldn't let you build a Tesla death ray.
There was something else. Something deeper. Friends argued. Especially friends that had so much history. You knew how to annoy each other. But Bruce Didn't seem annoyed.
He seemed... hurt.
Like he was licking his wounds. And he supposed it was time to see what you did when you had free time.

Clark touched down well away from the Cabin. Deciding Not to just appear- you weren't trigger happy or anything but. You did work with welders and he'd hate to startle you and have you burn yourself.
Happily though, you were unloading panels of thin metal from a truck bed and transferring it into a workshop. "Nice place," Clark called when the noise of his feet on gravel attracted your attention.
"Jackie got tired of sleeping on the ground when we went camping," you explained, "and realized he could build us a little vacation house."
Clark nodded, "Bougie."
"Eh," you shrug. "I feel like after doing military shit you were tricked into-"
"Pax," Clark said holding his hands up. Early on in his career, he'd learned- the hard way that the information he could find wasn't always correct. He'd run a story about Jackie after his death- and when you'd stormed into the Planet and all but demanded his head on a pike- it was his first retraction. But- it had felt good to tell the truth. The whole truth of what had happened to him. "What are you building?" Clark asked, curious.
"Ever seen Treasure Planet?" you counter.
"Seen what?"
"Treasure Planet? Treasure Island with Aliens and steampunk and robots."
"No," Clark said blinking.
"Then my answer will mean absolutely nothing to you."

Vampire!Lottie Matthews x f!Reader 🔞
🩸Lottie hesitates to feed from you because she's scared of hurting you. But you know she would never, she just needs a little convincing🩸

CW: Blood Drinking, Kinda Subby Top Lottie,
Tumblr media
"You can bite," you say. "You need to feed. And I trust you."
Lottie's eyes haven't left yours but the usual dark brown has been replaced with a glowing red. The beautiful vampire hesitates when given the chance to drink your blood. She's always worried she will hurt you.
But you know she wouldn't.
And she is very, very hungry.
"It's okay," Lottie says with a slight tremor. "I'll find Nat, she can get me-"
You grab her hand and tug her closer. Lottie stumbles and bumps into you. Her skin is cold to the touch but will quickly warm once in contact with you for long enough. She nervously looks away, as if looking at you for too long will cause her to lose control.
Maybe that's what you need her to. To give her the push over the edge.
"Lottie. Are you really going to run and find Nat when I'm right here?" You roll your eyes in fake exasperation. "Hmph. Maybe I should go find Shauna."
Lottie's eyes snap to yours and her brows furrow.
"What?" A single word but it's ice cold.
Lottie hides her emotions well, years of being forced to act like the perfect daughter for parents that never cared about her. But you know her too well. Even now as she tries to act casual, it bleeds through her stare. Hot, raging, jealously.
You shrug. "Nothing. Just I know Shauna would appreciate a taste. Since Jackie is away, she hasn't had human blood in a while. And I beat she would be real rough about it-"
Lottie grabs you with pure vampire strength. One moment you're standing face to face in her room, the next your back is against the wall with her body caging you in. She bares her teeth as her fangs snap down, eyes glowing red.
Your heart races in your chest. You should feel fear from being so close to someone so dangerous and the adrenaline rushes through your system. Heat burns in your chest and you let out a shaky exhale.
"Don't," she says. "Don't talk about Shauna."
You raise a hand to her lips. Slowly you press your thumb into her mouth and against the sharp tip of her fang until it draws blood. Then you press deeper into her mouth. Her tongue swirls around your fingertip as she catches the taste of you. Of what you're offering.
She groans and her eyes flutter.
"What are you so afraid of?" you ask. "You need to feed. I think it's hot when you bite me. I think there's an easy solution here."
Lottie lets your thumb slip from her mouth and she stares at you with intense eyes. Ever since you've started dating, you've chased the darker side of her. She worries that you'll be afraid of her. Doesn't she know you love it? You want her.
"Baby, please." You lift your head to expose your throat to her. "I need you."
Something in Lottie snaps and she pounces. Her lips lay waste to your neck as she kisses and nips, sure to leave a splattering of marks the next day. You moan and hold onto her. But she doesn't break skin. Not yet. Not even as she teases her fangs against your pulse point.
"You're such a temptation," she murmurs. "I want to so badly."
"Why don't you?" you gasp breathlessly.
She presses you against the wall and a thigh slots between your legs. You bite back a groan as you press against her, need pulsing through your core. She's hardly even touched you yet.
"Mm." Lottie kisses your jaw. "Adrenaline makes blood taste sweeter."
"Yeah?"
"Yes. Prey that runs, that is afraid. It's why we hunt. Why we chase. It tastes good." A hand dances across your chest over your clothes, a light tease. "But do you want to know what tastes best?"
She finds your wrist and lifts your still bleeding thumb to her mouth. She meets your gaze with hooded eyes as she licks the bead of blood welling on your fingertip.
Your heart thunders in your chest, so loud it might overwhelm you. You know Lottie can hear it. Her vampire hearing allows her to pick up on even the slightest of changes. The corners of her mouth quirk in knowing. She knows exactly what she's doing to you.
"Prey that wants it tastes best."
Wants her.
Needs her.
Needs-
Lottie leans in and claims your lips, the metallic tang of your blood still on her tongue. You taste it in a fleeting moment before it's just her kissing you. Usually Lottie is sweet and kind, a wonderful girlfriend who loves you very much. This side of her is that but also darker and possessive. She kisses you like she wants to devour you. To claim you.
You must have really ticked her off when you mentioned Shauna.
You wrap your arms around her neck and hold her closer. Her frame is slim but you can feel the power she possesses. If she wanted to, she could throw you across the room without blinking. You are weightless to her.
Evidenced by the way she effortlessly hooks a hand under your thigh and lifts you against the wall.
"That's it," you breathe against her mouth. "That's my girl."
Lottie groans and she slams a hand into the wall beside your head.
"You like that? Being called mine?" You tug at the front of her shirt until she gasps. "Do you want me?"
"Yes, yes, so badly." It comes out as half a needy beg and half a hiss. Lottie licks her lips and bares her fangs, twin points shining and full extended.
You want her fangs buried in your neck while her long fingers are buried inside you.
Lottie seems to get the idea as her eyes darken. She shifts her hands to your waist and carries you over to her bed. Down onto the many cushions you go with her on top of you. She can't stop kissing you. She can't get enough of you.
You find the hem of her shirt and tug it over her head. The second she's free, she's back kissing you again. It's hungry, pressing you back against the pillow with even the slightest touch. She's so hot.
"(Y/N)?" she groans.
"Mm?"
You dig your nails into her shoulder blades and she shudders.
"Can I...?" Her eyes sweep down your body.
She doesn't need to ask, you've wanted this since the moment you lay eyes on her. How could you not? Lottie Matthews can command a room with her smile alone. She enchants and entrances, and that's even without her vampire powers. You've wanted her since the beginning.
The vampire thing is just a bonus.
"Please."
Lottie shifts back and lifts your shirt. As she takes it off, she plants kisses up your stomach, your chest, your throat until she reaches your lips once again. Your entire body feels like it's burning alive.
You need her to touch you.
"God, you are so hot," she murmurs. "I could just eat you."
You bite her bottom lip for emphasis and tug it back. "Do it then. I'm here for the taking."
She doesn't need anymore encouraging. Lottie eagerly leans in and kisses you again. But this time, as her lip strays across her your jaw, her intent is clear. Sharp teeth tease at your skin as the hunter finds her mark.
But Lottie doesn't bite just quite yet.
She trails a hand down your stomach into your pants, finding you wet and ready for her. It doesn't take her long to find the perfect angle and then she's sinking into you.
"Fuck, Lottie!"
You arch up into her waiting mouth. She kisses your neck, just below your ear.
"God, (Y/N), I want you bad," she gasps. "You're so-!"
How can she say that as her fingers thrust in and out of you? She quickly finds a strong rhythm, curling deep inside you. Heat spreads through you until you feel like you're aflame. You're burning for her. You won't last long.
Lottie lets out a shaky exhale and her body presses against you.
"Fuck, that's it," you groan. "Just like that! Keep going, Lot, I'm so close!"
"Y-Yeah?"
Your nails find themselves in her back again and she whines, the noise sending a hot flash right through your chest. You scratch down her spine and she moans.
"So close, you're doing so well, Lottie," you gasp.
As if spurred on by your praise, she ducks her head against your skin. Her fangs caress the vulnerable expanse of your shoulder, just waiting for her moment. You know exactly when she will bite you. And you weren't lying when you said you were close.
You cry out her name as you come, drawing blood from how hard you're clutching to her back.
And Lottie sinks her teeth into your neck.
Jackie described to you what it felt like but nothing could have prepared you. No pain, no sting, just hot pleasure spreading through your entire body. Lottie drinks from you and it completely overwhelms you.
Fingers in you, teeth in you.
"L-Lottie! Oh god, Lottie!"
She drinks her fill. You can't quite tell if you're lightheaded from that, from coming, or a messy combination of both. Either way, you never felt anything like that before. Intensely euphoric and addictive.
Lottie paints your throat red with kisses, tongue lightly pressing to the weeping wounds. She groans deep in her throat.
"(Y/N)... that was..."
You know.
You released your hold from her back and flop back against her pillows. Lottie raises her head and her lips are painted blood red. You raise a hand and wipe the drop trying to roll down her chin.
"Good?"
She laughs. "More than good."
You touch your throat and your fingers come away red. Lottie flushes, embarassed at the mess she made. No matter, she will have plenty of time to clean it later. You reach a hand towards her. Lottie meekly accepts your fingers and licks them clean.
"Still hungry?"
"Uh... I... not really-!"
You hook a leg over her hips and turn the two of you. Lottie ends up sprawled beneath you, hair spread out like a dark halo. You smile down at her. Her blush is very cute for someone who is so dangerous.
"Okay. Then I guess it's my turn to feed on you," you smirk.
You have so much exposed, unmarked skin to work with. When the night is over, your claim on Lottie will be painted all over her skin.
Lottie nods. "Yes, (Y/N)... Please."
You smile.
As if you needed asking.

Ok ok so I’m currently fighting my inner demons (lesbianism + ovulation) and you asked for thoughts so…This might be the perfect timing 🤭🤭
Anyway I’m currently torn between two different scenarios: One being the whole “only the tip” thing: Talking poor transfem!Jackie into it because R wants her so bad :(( From: “It’s not like it’s actual sex if you don’t put it in, it doesn’t count then” to her throbbing from just rubbing it against R’s pussy because it’s so good but not enough :(( Her asking if she can just put the tip inside, desperately asking if that’ll count as fucking agghhhhh :(( And she’s so shy about it too, at first. But that’s just until she’s inside R for the first time; Groaning and panting because it feels better than anything she ever had. And for a moment she genuinely thinks she’ll cum just from putting her tip inside for the first time. She can’t help herself but snap her hips forward to chase the feeling…R is surprised at first, when she grabs her hips and starts rutting into her like her life depends on it. But as R starts squirming beneath her, gasping and moaning because she’s so much and she’s fucking R so deep, she leans over, whispering “Take it” again and again and UGH😵‍💫
(Might even spin her around so she’s got R on all fours for her)
She’s so embarrassed afterwards, because she feels desperate and dirty for fucking R like that but, god, it’s so good like?? R would never complain.

Sleepover.
Contains: transfeminine Jackie, female reader, smut, pleasure top/switch Jackie, mean top/switch reader, porn with feelings. Words count: 4k, seven pages.
Anon! Woah... I blushed a bit reading this😳. The embarrassment I feel is big, my shame bigger, but I must lead my readers to the horny crusade! This might be sligthly off track from the original request ( and I was pretty tired these days, so plot, grammar and all might not be very good), but I tried my best to include all that you wanted.
Enjoy!
"Is it really sex if you just put the tip in?" that question would have made you spit your drink if taken out of context. After a winning game, Lottie had invited you and the rest of the team to her house for a sleepover. "You can stop with the teasing, Mari. Instead, why don't you tell us about your boyfriend, Mr. I Fuck My Family" Natalie answered back, prompting Mari to finally shut up after countless teasing directed at all group members.
Vanessa elbowed at Natalie with a smug grin on her face."But the question remains, is it really sex?" the blonde glares daggers at her friend.
Natalie was about to respond "And what do you know about sex Van? You've never even gotten-" but was promptly shut down by Taissa, who had hugged Vanessas's shoulders and kissed her, "And she will never need to".
During Vanessa's and Natalie's discussion, Jackie interrupts them. "I don't think it counts as sex. I mean, wouldn't it be more like masturbation?"; Natalie can feel her eyes roll just from hearing Jackie's voice.
"We get it Jackie, I'm sure you have a looot of experience with dicking people down". At that Jackie's cheeks become beetroot red: both at the accusations -which were true- and the fact that the object of her desires, you, was sitting right next to her. You had deliberately teased Jackie all throughout the day, before and after the game, just to mess with her a little.
The results of your teasing had given Jackie a hard on that she had struggled to release, just before the game, making her perform slightly worse than usual. She would make you pay for that, in a way or another.
"I do- I don't have an experience with those things I just watch-" a chorus of 'oooh's' leaves everyone's lips. "I mean heard of them" she's blushing so hard her cheeks are starting to hurt. You speak before she can hurt her reputation further. But there's no fun without teasing Jackie a little bit more. "I agree with Natalie. I mean as long as both parties get eachother off, it's sex no?" you say.
"Whatever," Natalie says, all too interested in stopping this conversation. "Enough about this. Let's talk about Lottie and Laura Lee's 'totally platonic' relationship" she says grinning from ear to ear, knowing that she's saved from her friends teasing, for now.
"And anyway" Jackie says, "I don't think what Natalie did counts as sex". After hours of drinking and gossiping, you had finally decided to go to bed. It wasn't a secret to everyone else that you and Jackie were a thing.
It was always obvious by the way she'd so unsubtly flirt with you after each game. The first time she tried to flirt, she had come to you after you had changed out of your jersey, laid on the wall with her body facing you and smirked. "Come here often?" she had said with a smug look on her face, "Jackie... I have just joined the team". Needless to say her face had become tomato red and she didn't speak to you for a week, before Shauna forced her to. You'd think Lottie assigned you to the smallest guest room in the house on purpose, so you two would be alone.
"Jackie, sex has many different faces" the smaller girl huffs at you, but you catch a glimpse of something in her eyes, like she's telling a lie.
Jackie had always had a competition with Natalie ever since the latter came in the team. It wasn't malicious per se, but you sensed an underline of distrust and annoyance on both parties. Jackie knew that sex could be more than just penetration, but she needed to prove something to you, to herself. Maybe she needed to compete with Natalie even on this topic.
"I mean yeah I get it but..." she was changing out of her day clothes into her corny blue and white checkered pajamas. As soon as she finished putting on her pants, you started to change in front of her. "But...uhm..." you bent over to grab at your pants hem, letting Jackie's eyes explore your body. Of course, you did it on purpose.
Ah, shit. She is starting to get hard: from the base up to the tip, she feels blood pumping in her veins and in her ears. "Jackie, are you ok?"
Damned sexy woman! "Uh, uh yeah yeah I..." her throat feels dry and she can't stop looking at you, "Jackie... you...". She stops her staring, realizing that you're looking exactly where her bulge would be. She's too scared to look down and face the truth, but the heat she's feeling is enough to tell her that she has become fully hard now.
"Oh God, shit, shit" she starts to panic, her hands moving and gripping any part of her as if she could wash away the shame she feels. "I am so sorry I didn't mean to-" her words die in her throat when you start to walk over her, with a look that tells Jackie she's gonna be in for a ride.
Great, now she'll yell at me. I deserve th- her thoughts are interrupted when she feels your lips press into hers. It takes a moment for her to reciprocate, but when she does, she's a woman starved. Her hands cup your cheeks and she leans her body into yours, desperate to be close to you, to blur the line of where she ends and you begin. Jackie's tongue licks at your lips, asking to be let in. When you do, she expects herself to be the one to dominate, to make you keen, but she finds herself to be the one to do so. She can't keep up with you, can't seem to regulate her breath, to know where to put her hands, to know how to win over your movements against her tongue.
Jackie is left completely subdued by you. When you pull away, her eyes are dazed over and her lips are wetted by your kissing. "You don't seem like the type to have much experience Jackie" at that her body seems to get even hotter than before. "I- I..." you interrupt her, "But you seemed so sure of yourself with Natalie before". That statement makes her self conscious of her decision to challenge Nat and you, but your words hide a purpose behind them.
"Let's see if I can change your mind" you let your clothes fall off your body, discarding your bra and underwear with them. You are completely nude in front of Jackie. Heat starts to spread to her groin and her length twitches. Jackie feels her skin burst on fire when you touch her on the shoulder, look at her with a smile and whisper into her ear "Strip".
She doesn't need to be told twice, her clothes discarded so fast from her body you think some have actually ripped. Now both of you are naked, her hands behind her back while she sways her hips right to left. For a moment you think that she is shy or embarrassed, but you change your mind when your eyes fall to her length. It's average and slim, shades of red coloring the tip and sack. You see the muscles of her legs twitch along her dick, happily basking in your attention. She's getting some sick pleasure out of this...
"Go sit on the bed". Jackie almost trips while she walks -skips- over to the mattress, too excited for what's to come. You are a bit surprised when you notice Jackie's hands are still behind her back, not making an attempt to touch herself. Ah, so she's into that.
"Come on love, lie down. And don't touch yourself", she lets out a sigh of impatience, obeying you. Her length betrays her, as it twitches at your words. You climb over her, sitting on her groin so that she's pressed up against you.
Jackie feels something wettening her dick and looks down at where your bodies are connected, realizing it's your own needines spreading over her. "Since you were so full of yourself before, I think you deserve a punishment. Don't you think so too, love?" She finds it difficult to swallow her spit, her throat is dry and her next words come out in a choked whisper. "Y-yes..." when she sees you smirk, she knows her pride is about to be shattered. "Yes what, dear?" the continuous use of nicknames makes her even more needy than before. "Yes I... I need to be punished".
You smirk at her and kiss up her length, making her release a loud moan. Your lips trail up and open to allow her tip in. Jackie is about to touch you head, trying to make you go further down, but as her fingers tangle in your hair, you slap her hands away. "I said, keep your hands to yourself".
Her hands retreat and instead find purchase in gripping at the blanket. You continue to pleasure her, lips tightening around her. Instead of gripping at your head, Jackie's hips start to thrust up in you, moving her length in you. "Yes... yes! Please do more!" When you stop her hips from moving and tease by sucking her tip, Jackie feels like she's about to burst. But she has been a brat, she doesn't deserve to, yet.
Jackie feels your warmth leave her and her eyes widen at the realization that she won't be cumming anytime soon. Her tip is a deep crimson red, wet with her arousal and your spit, a small tear of cum spilling from her tip. Much to her dismay, you get off her lap and fall on the bed, facing her backwards. "You can touch me" you say and immediately Jackie's hands cup at your chest. She explores your skin, groping your breasts and playing with your nipples. It feels so good that for a moment you forget what your plan was.
She is so lost in the pleasure of discovering your body that she doesn't notice your hand moving towards her length. A sharp gasp leaves her when you take her in your hand, massaging and stroking her length. Her eyes roll to the back of her head and she pushes up against your backside, trying to be closer to the source of her desires. In an effort to make the pleasure last, she trusts her length in between your thighs, closing them in on her. You see her looking from behind you every few seconds; she moves feverishly, humping your thighs like a bunny in heat. Her voice hitches when she attempts to talk, "I feel so... so good please please I want to-" and she punctuates her needs by sliding a little bit too close to your slit. Her fingers are still on your nipples, circling and pinching and massaging them.
Jackie can't believe how good it feels to begin snuggling in your thighs. It feels like heaven, like she's about to finally reach for the sky. But when she feels your fingertips grip at her red tip, fitting her against your slit, she is positive she will pass out. She's so close to orgasm, so close, so close but yet so far... She's almost vibrating with excitement when her tip finally enters you, when she can finally feel your warm-. But she doesn't feel anything, at all in fact. Just the pleasant hot feeling of you enveloping her, but nothing else. Oh shit.
The realization hits her all at once when she hears your mean laughs. "Since you were so full of yourself before, we will see if your attitude changes" you wiggle your hips, making Jackie cry in pleasure. "Oh my God..." it's cute how desperate she had become. Jackie grips your body, left hand on the shoulder and right on the hip, in an attempt to ground herself. You'd think she wouldn't enjoy this, but you know a hidden dark side of her does. Her voice echoes in your ears, crying and pleading for you to "please, please" take her deeper.
But you know Jackie is also a little shit. She eyes your face, looking for any signs of awareness before she tries to fuck in you deeper. Just as she's about to slip past her crown in you, she's stopped by your arms forcefully pushing her back. A long sigh leaves her, followed by a shiver and a moan. "I can't I need to- need to move" her hips desperately try to fight against your grip but to no avail; pleasure jolting from her length to her brain from the struggle against you. "I didn't take you for the fighter, Jackie. You always seemed more like a princess to me" you can distinctly feel her twitch inside you.
Your words are met with a heavy silence and the occasional hip twitch, making you wonder if it was too much, if you went too far-.
Her hands follow the curve of your hips, down, down, down until she grips the underside of your leg. With surprising speed, she lifts your thigh in the air and thrusts inside you. It's a strange sensation at first, plunging into your depths and leaving you a little too full of her. She waits only a few seconds to let you adjust before starting to rut in you.
"See? I have given you the courtesy to adjust. All you did was tease me. Does that seem fair?" Jackie whispers to you, her nails digging into your flesh. You try to answer, but all that comes from your mouth are moans and whimpers. Your throat feels dry and your brain mushed, blank, as you can only think about how good she's making you feel.
"Fuck... If I had known that you were gonna f-feel this good..." her hips snap into yours, chasing that tingling pleasure, "I would have fucked you sooner". Her words make you clench tightly around her, affecting Jackie too. Her head is thrown backwards, a string of moans and curses leaving her.
Your body feels tired, sensitive and hot. Jackie's hips slap against your own, the sound of flesh against flesh echoing in the room. Her balls hit the small patch of skin just above your slit, making you realise just how deep she's fucking you in.
Euphoria swarms Jackie's mind when she feels you desperately clutching onto her. The sensation of your tight walls hugging her, pulling her in, is too good. She feels rabid, possessive, hungry even.
A strange feeling starts to bloom in her heart. A deep dark need to consume you. To take you in every way, to leave a trace of herself on you. To blur the line of where you ended and she began.
Her dark thoughts are enough to make her trusts become faster, more desperate. "J-Jackie!" she releases your leg, letting it fall on top of hers so you stay nice and spread for her. With her right hand she grasps at your hip and draws you on her, moving your body alongside hers.
She traces the curves of your body, savoring how you shiver under her touches.
She starts leaving wet kisses at the base of your neck, tasting you. Her lips trail up, up, up, until they set on your earlobe. A particularly strong trust from her leaves you breathless, having reached that place that makes you see stars. You hear her chuckle behind you, her hand having risen from your hip to your chest. She twists your nipple with her fingers while playfully biting your earlobe and trusting in that same spot over and over again. Your brain can't form any coherent thought anymore, just wanting to please her in every possible way.
"You know..." she whispers in your ear, sending shivers down your spine, "I have always thought of this".
Ohhh fuuuck.
"Every time we went to change in the locker room..." her hand comes down, rolling your clit between her fingers, "I dreamt of taking you. Of- of fucking you. On the benches, on the lockers. In front of everyone" her laughter sounds in the space when she feels you clenching hard against her at her words. "Would you like that? To let them see you like this? So they can see how much... I affect you?", you smile a little, knowing that even if she was in deep lust, Jackie would never call you a slut or a whore for her. That just wasn't Jackie.
Your thoughts are interrupted when you feel her leaving your slit and moving away. You already miss her skin on yours and try to tug her down once more, to tempt her into entering you again.
"Look how the tables have turned…" you hear her say behind you. An insult is already on your tongue, but you stop once you see Jackie's figure on the bed. She's kneeling behind you, her chest pushed out, hand stroking her length feverishly. A drop of precum falls from her slit, making her look absolutely delicious. In the darkness of the room, you can see her body glistening, a trickle of sweat falling from her temple.
Her bright brown eyes have been replaced by deep lust, looking almost pitch black in the darkness of the room. She's blushing, looking at your body like a starved woman.
She trusts her hips forward, keeping her eyes on your body as she fucks into her hand. “Ass up” she whispers to you, and you feel a shiver run from your brain to your slit, but it takes longer than you'd expected to register her command. A groan leaves her when you don't move fast enough.
Her hands fly to your hips, spinning you around until you are on your knees in front of her. With the pressing of a finger she pushes your back so that your stomach presses on the sheets. You hear the sound of her fast stroking behind you, then she trails your spine until she finds your slit once again. Fingers penetrate you, two of them, and set a slow, languid pace.
Jackie moves so that her body is pressed against yours and her length pushed up against your leg. Her breath ghosts above your ear, “You are so wet…is it all for me?”. The sounds behind stop and you feel Jackie's fingers press against your clit, playing with it. Vaguely you feel that her fingertips are wet and realize that is from her own arousal. “Yes… all for you, Jackie” she chuckles, leaving a bite on your neck.
Her fingers retreat, leaving you empty once again. Then you feel her tip separating your folds, drenched in your arousal. It's enough to draw a moan from your lips. “Tell me you want it. Tell me you want me” her lips continue to kiss and bite and leave her marks behind, “I… I want it. I want it so bad… please Jackie”. She spreads you open, inching inside of you. Jackie is perfectly slotted inside you, touching and stretching you in a delicious way. She moves her hips behind yours, slowly trusting.
What she says next surprises you. In her lust ridden state, Jackie lets herself be vulnerable. “Thank you… thank you…” she hugs your body close to hers, breathing on the crevice of your neck and trusting quickly and hard, so much so that the force of her hips moves your body with hers. She starts to kiss down your nape, biting hard on the flesh while her hips follow a punshing pace. "I love seeing you like this...all nice and spread for me..." her fingers close on your wrists and you feel her moving away from you, now almost straddling you. You have but a moment to breathe before she starts to hammer into you: one hand on your wrist and the other on your clit, body pressed down on yours and breath on your neck. "Oh God it feels so good... thank you" and again she lets herself be vulnerable in front of you, her facade slipping off of her.
To think that finally she gets to do this with you, to have you in her arms and her in yours, to feel pleasure together, makes her heart skip a beat. Jackie feels fuzzy, her brain is emptied of everything but you, how you feel in her arms, how you feel around her. The world around her blurs until your figure is the only one standing in a mist of colors. A hot want starts at the tip of her length to the base, following the hips and spreading all around her body and filling her with ecstasy. Jackie anticipates what this means and doubles down on her trusts and touching, hoping to reach that pleasure with you. "Oh...please, please I am so close. I am so close t-tell... tell me you are too baby please..." you can only mutter words muffled approvals on the pillow and move your hips against hers. "Yeah? Yeah, are you close? Oh fuck...!" she's right there, slipping over the edge when she feels you clench around her, as if your body is begging her to stay, not letting her move.
"Tell me... tell me when you are close, okay?" trying to maintain that pace while holding off her own release it's almost like a torture, but she can't get enough of it. She would go on forever if it meant pleasuring you. When you finally reach the edge, you grip Jackie's wrist and beg her to please let you cum. "God please Jackie..." when she hears her name drop so sweetly from your lips, she is gone. With her last strength she trusts for the final time and you feel her length pierce you, touching your most sensitive spots. You tremble around her and release yourself on her length, the sight making Jackie lose herself in lust and pleasure as she fights against her own body, before leaving you and cumming on the sheets.
She falls on top of you, skin against skin, spent. "Ah...ah, wow..." she looks at the remains of your fun on the bed, feeling a little self conscious, "Lottie is gonna be so mad at us". You snort in the pillow, "If Lottie is gonna be mad at someone, it will be you" she lets out an insulted gasp. "Me?! You were the one that started!" and you answer her, turning around and placing her head on your chest, "You were the one that got a boner watching me change". Jackie feels her cheeks getting hot and hides it by pressing her face on your skin. "Oh God, don't remind me...".
The room is silent except for your heavy breaths. Jackie moves on top of you, hair falling down from her shoulders. Her eyes are hers again, lust having been replaced with admiration and uncertainty. "So...what are we?" she asks, voice small against the darkness of the room. "What are we?" you ask her back, seeing how her eyes unfocus on something behind you, staring into somewhere that doesn't exist to look for answers. "I want us to be more" she answers, "something more than just...this" her voice is laced with hope and fear.
"I want to go on dates with you. To go to the movies, to go for walks, to... be together with you" now her eyes focus on yours again, a glimmer of sadness shining in them. "Can we... Can we be like that?" something about how she sounds, how sad her eyes look, makes a painfully warm feeling bloom in your chest. You take her cheeks in your hands and bring her down with you, tasting her lips once again. "We can be like that" you whisper on her lips, laced with love.
When morning comes you are the first one to wake up. Jackie sleeps soundly near you, the sun warming her body. You wake her up with a kiss, and immediately she groans and begs to sleep just a bit more, to be in your arms again. Your cute back and forth is interrupted by the door being slammed loudly from outside the room. Natalie watches the both of you, dark circles under her eyes and a hint of anger in her voice, "Next time, be quiet".

Pt.2
a/n: thinking of making this into 2 or 3 parts?? this is more of a build up so I'm sorry if it's a bit slow!
Tumblr media
∘₊✧────────────────────✧₊∘
It had been a week, maybe more, after the crash. You counted the days - believing it wasn't long until you would all be found and saved. Everyone followed the same belief, but it slowly began to lose its appeal as the days got longer and there was no promise of rescue, and you had lost track anyway.
Misty had treated you alongside everyone else, she wrapped your gashed shoulder up with a bandage out of some emergency aid kit in the planes cabinet, which you had been unwrapping everyday to keep clean. It was fine at first, but the shortages of antibiotics and extra bandages had it healing much slower than it should've, it hurt like a bitch and you were putting up the best 'tough' act you could to avoid adding anymore stress to the situation.
You sat outside of the cabin on a broken log, setting up fire to cook dinner, faintly smelling the herbs in the air that Mari managed to find whilst the others were either doing laundry or getting water from the nearby lake. Lottie hadn't been doing much, though. Her mind was in a different place ever since the crash, you noticed as she began to act differently recently, but you thought nothing of it - everyone else had been stressed, unorganised and tired, so why would it be out of the ordinary for Lottie to feel the same?
You and Lottie began dating a month before the flight, she had confessed to you one day after practice - you watched panic on her face as she barely managed to get her words out, before you laughed in reassurance and told her you felt the same way. Neither of you had told anyone about your relationship and wanted to keep it that way - it wouldn't benefit you or her.
"Hey, you okay?" she came up to you, sitting on the log opposite of the one you sat on, her expression ardent each time she saw you.
"Yeah, is Shauna done with the meat yet?" You asked, feeling hunger eat away at your stomach. "No I don't think so, she's trying to get Jackie to do something," she explained, "I'm sure she'll be done by the time you set up the fire, though." you nodded, giving up on rubbing sticks for the time being. "You look real good for someone who's stranded in the wilderness, y'know" she laughed, watching you trying to rub off the ash from last nights fire, "Shut up, Lottie" you teased with the same toothy smile she loved.
It took you a while to get used to the new situation, though more often than not you were helping around with things. In around 5th grade your parents thought it was a good idea to get you into girl scouts, you partially hated them for it - the uniform sucked and you'd always be covered in dirt. You had been mentally reciting the folklore stories told by the counsellors; as the wilderness caved in some of your old memories, often wondering if they had any truth to them. You stayed there until you turned 14, learning a bunch of survival skills that you brushed off as stupid, it was ironic how useful they were now.
"Lot, how are you?" You hadn't asked that in ages, too preoccupied with surviving, just as everyone else had been. Lottie's breath hitched, knowing she wasn't fine at all, considering her meds ran out. "I'm fine, I just missed you (y/n)." She smiled sheepishly, suppressing the doubt she had in her own words. She truly did miss you, the distance that brewed between you two wasn't as bad as it could've been, but she needed you the most right now.
You could sense her unease, standing up to sit next to her, "You can talk to me, you know that right?" You moved your hand towards hers, smiling warmly as you looked at each other. her eyes were filled with anguish, her jaw clenching before she spoke,
"Promise you won't think I'm weird?"
"I promise."
You leaned towards her, watching as she tucked her hair behind her ear before letting loose of her worry, "I've had these strange visions," Her gaze was diverted to the floor, "and I've been hearing things." she shook her head in disbelief, almost shocked; confused. "What kind of visions?" You kept your eyes on her, not thinking any less of her. "I don't know, it's like I can see what happens before it happens." She gave you a sorry look, you opened your mouth to speak before being interrupted by Shauna, "Here." Jackie stood behind her as Shauna handed you the meat, looking at it in complete disgust.
Lottie wasn't given the opportunity to offer you an explanation, but it made sense to you, considering her strange act for the past week.
-
The night grew colder than the last, you had been sleeping in the attic with lottie for the past few days to prove it wasn't haunted, and you struggled to keep heat upstairs. "Just sleep here, near the fire." Shauna stated after you had tried to haggle for more blankets, you refused, though, wanting to spend more time with Lottie and keep an eye on her after she had opened up to you. "well feel free to come downstairs, there's always room." she finished, laying down the pillows.
You climbed the ladder to see lottie already there, facing the window - illuminated by the moon and stars. sitting behind her, you spoke, "Another vision?" It was a couple days after she had spoken to you about them, and she told you what she could. They weren't too frequent, but when they happened you'd stay close to her.
"I heard a baby crying this time, it went on and off for a while, but I cant figure it out." Her words were cold and hurt. You were the only one who knew about her newfound state, since you swore not to tell anybody to avoid Lottie seeming crazy to the others, and that's why you tried your best to understand, to help her. but often your help was useless, you figured it might've just been a trauma response to the crash, and you stuck around. You wrapped your arms around her shoulders, hugging her from behind, bringing your body close to hers and resting your head on the back of her neck.
"Things'll gonna be okay, Lottie." Your voice was warming, bringing slight comfort to her discomfort.
You two sat there for a while, your eyes resting as she gazed at the night sky, before she turned to face you. "What if they won't be?" She bit her lip, making constant eye contact with you. She'd wear your jewellery often, you assumed it just got lost in the crash until you noticed, but she just wanted you close to her when you weren't around, and talking to each other for more than a minute was rare lately, so she had resorted to constant distress and longing.
She couldn't risk hurting you as a result of her own disturbance, just like she had before, and she subconsciously needed your reassurance that things wouldn't go that way.
"Why would you think that?" You shook your head, seeing Lottie avert her gaze to your shoulder, "Because things haven't been in our favour for a while." Her feelings were daunting to figure out, you looked up at her with sad yet hopeful eyes. "Stressing about it isn't gonna make it any better, Lot." You chuckled lightly, sensing tension brewing and wanting to avoid her mind going back into the dark place it would often wander to. She smiled in return, her eyes softening at your remark. "Hey do you remember when we would go on those road trips? you'd be so tired driving, I'd have to remind you not to crash into a tree" Lottie spoke, you saw her jaw soften and heard her laugh filling the wooden room, "And you would play shitty music just to rile me up," You added, "What?? I played it because I liked those songs (y/n), don't judge me,"
You two would often drive to seattle in your old beaten up sedan to visit your family, though you'd always make sure to turn it into a full blown camping roadtrip each time - since Washington was on the complete opposite side of New Jersey.
"You think we can go again after we're back home?" It didn't even cross your mind that Lottie thought there was chance of rescue, you were taken aback for a moment. When Lottie was with you something would alter inside of her, as if everything negative she ever believed had dissipated, you gave her hope.
"We'll go wherever you want."
She smiled a moment before her eyes looked up to yours and then down to your lips - then back to your eyes again, she kissed you and you could've sworn you felt religion in her lips; how they caressed yours with trails of grace.
-
"Are you fucking kidding me lottie?? what's gotten into you?" A riled up voice spat under lottie who had just stood there. "Nat, calm down." Shauna intervened, you walked out of the cabin, rubbing your puffy eyes as they adjusted to the light, woken by the voices after the best sleep you'd had in a while. "What's going on?" You looked towards Nat and Lottie.
"Lottie's acting like she's in The Craft or something, sort her out before she casts a spell on one of us." Natalie faced you with annoyance, your bottom lip slightly hung out - still half asleep. Everyone knew something was up with Lottie after she bashed her head into the window, it wasn't that much of a secret after all. Most were worried and you could tell, and so Natalie's reaction had you confused, you looked around to see everyone waiting for your response.
"She's been through a lot, like the rest of us. just leave her alone, Nat." You sighed, everyone went back inside - Natalie flailing her arms as you gestured for Lottie to follow you somewhere deeper into the forest. "What happened? are you okay?" You stopped amongst the woods, "Yeah, fine." she looked distressed and distant, crossing her arms, "Just ignore her, she didn't mean it," Lottie cut you off as her rushing thoughts came out,
"But what if she's right? what if I really am going crazy?"
"You're not crazy Lottie, you're just as fucked as the rest of us, nothing more." Your reassurance seemed to get through to her, your words meant the world to her and you knew it.
"You don't think there's something wrong with me?" Her face was almost pale, skin rough and almost loving eyes.
"Oh my god, of course not," you faltered into a feathery smile, "You're perfect, Lottie." You watched as her face began to regain her warm colour, softening at your words. Sometimes it felt like the world stopped around you when you were near her, you would've done anything - just to see her okay again, and she would've done anything to see you carefree and happy, just like you used to be.
She looked to the ground, laughing in relief while small tears left her eyes. "And I'm the sappy one?"
"Yeah okay, I'm not the one who wrote a love letter as an apology," She slapped your shoulder and you kept giggling like a maniac, before you were stopped dead in your tracks by Misty carrying an empty water bucket, "Are you two planning on helping?" One hand on her hip and the other holding out the bucket, "It's unfair to think you're exempt from helping when we should all be-"
"Jeez okay we'll fill it up." Lottie suppressed her laughter the best she could, running to take the bucket from an impatient Misty.
After getting back to the cabin, you settled on the living room floor with a blanket and a book. You never read books much before, however somehow it had become a routine by now.
"What're you reading?" Lottie asked, sliding down next to you.
"To the Lighthouse, Virgina Woolf. I found it in one of the drawers in the attic."
"Any good?" You never took Lottie as a reader, her interests only really came to surface when you would talk about yours, "I'll finish it and let you know." You looked at her with a smile, closing the book and resting it to the side for the time being.
-
Your mouth was filled with sickening sweetness as you chewed on the last of your food, which just happened to be the gummies your mom packed you 'for the road'.
There was no food left, and your hunger began to yearn for something else - someone else.
And her winter was cursed with your bewitchment,
the loving haze which she had caused upon you herself.

Sickness
Tumblr media
Natalie Scatorccio x reader
NOT PROOFREAD
MASTERLIST
A/n: hi y'all!!! Sooo... sorry this isn't a request but a couple of days ago I was really sick and I thought "I wouldn't survive a day in the wilderness during winter" so I basically created a scenario where the reader gets a fever while stranded. Enjoy:)
Tumblr media
After that cursed night when the desperation got the best of all of you and you all ended up banqueting over poor (but perfectly cooked) Jackie, everything started going even more down hill that you thought was possible.
The weather grew colder, there was no game in sight which was getting Natalie extremely frustrated and Lottie's cult started to form.
Your days were spent chopping wood in the burning cold, helping Mary in the kitchen trying to make the most of whatever you had or simply staying in the living room under a blanket, facing the fire and getting warm.
One particular morning Taissa took down a huge tree after you realized that soon the wood you saved up for the cabin was going to run out. So when she was done she passed you the axe and headed back to the cabin leaving you alone.
Soon enough it started to snow, and it's not like you could just go back inside, if you did everyone would freeze to death that night, and you thought to yourself "If Nat and Travis go out in the snow every day I can stay out here a little longer'
So you did. After four hours you had enough wood for a few days but you decided to keep going, chopping some more.
"What are you doing out here during a fucking blizzard y/n?" Suddenly a voice called out, Natalie and Travis came back from their daily (failed) hunt
"Chopping wood" you simply said, and Natalie shook her head "Come inside, you're gonna get sick, you're not used to staying in the cold for this long" she placed her hand on your back, guiding you back to the cabin.
At dinner time Mari served the watery soup she prepared and you all chugged it down to at least get the brief feeling of fullness for a while, Natalie sat next to you, her elbow colliding with yours every time she raised the cup to her lips.
Suddenly you let out a small cough and Nat's eyes immediately shifted on you with a worried expression "You okay?" She asked, you simply nodded and acted as if it wasn't a big deal.
"You ready to sleep?" Natalie asked as she got comfortable in your shared makeshift bed, you sat next to her with a tired look on your face, and Nat immediately realized that it wasn't just because you needed some sleep, she wrapped her arms around you and pulled you to her, placing a hand on your burning forehead "Shit" she mumbled "you're sick baby, you have a fever" you rested your back on her chest, closing your eyes, slowly the fever started to rise and suddenly you heard Natalie talking to Van "Wet this cloth with cold water or something we need to keep the fever down"
Seconds later the cloth was placed on your forehead and you softly whined at the contact "shhhh...I know it's cold but it will help" she cooed in your ear, suddenly you ended up in a coughing fit, your girlfriend's eyes widened and she instantly rubbed your back trying to reassure you.
After another couple of hours you finally fell asleep in Nat's arms, she stayed awake all night, checking on you and immerging the cloth in cold water periodically.
"Here, it's for her" Natalie heard Lottie mumble, looking up the brunette was holding a necklace with the tooth of the bear she killed at the end of the summer as a charm "It's for protection, the wilderness told me..."
"Shut the fuck up Lottie!" Natalie snapped at her "This is serious she's really sick and your wicca bullshit is not gonna help her, she needs paracetamol and cough syrup so if the wilderness told you where to find that stuff I'll be glad to listen but I doubt that happened so please, please, just leave us alone now"
Slightly hurt by her friend's tone Lottie backed up and went back to her bed, falling asleep.
After a couple of minutes you woke up because of a runny nose, Nat passed you a piece of cloth and waited for you to be done.
"how are you feeling baby?" She asked, scared that you were feeling worse, you cuddled up to her once more and mumbled "I feel the same" and even tho Natalie was slightly relieved that the pain wasn't encasing, she knew that you were still in pain "I'm so sorry y/n, I wish I could do something but I can't do anything and it's just-"
"No... it's okay Nat, you're already doing more than enough for me"
Natalie smiled, cradling your head on her shoulder waiting for you to fall back asleep, hoping that you were going to get better.

Dating Jackie Taylor Christmas HC’s (1996)
( I forgot to do the Christmas colours on Shauna’s and I’m to lazy to go back )
This girl loves Christmas
It's her favourite holiday of all time
It's literally 11:59 pm on Halloween, and she starts talking about how it's almost Christmas
Wakes you up every morning for the weeks before Christmas and tells you how many days there are until Christmas
Blasts Christmas music all the time
You have to physically restrain her when you pass by a Christmas section at a store because she is going to want to buy anything she sees
I feel like as a kid, her Christmases were also pretty good
I mean, we saw her house in the pilot, and it looked pretty big
It's fair to say her parents have some money
So as a kid, she probably also got what she wanted and still does
She wants to do  every single Christmas thing with you
Ice skating, making cookies, snow angels, hot chocolate, watching Christmas movies
Jackie loves the idea of snow and look
She likes the “ snow aesthetic”
But she doesn't like snow in general
If she survived long enough in the wilderness to actually get to winter, she would be whiney and refuse to get water or do anything
That girl is not shovelling snow or being outside in the snow for more than 10 minutes
She makes excuses for not being able to do it
“It’s too heavy”
“It’s too cold”
“My arm hurts today; I can’t”
She sits outside at the front window, watching you shovel, with a warm drink in her hand, wearing your sweater
On that note, she also steals all your clothes as it gets colder
You wake up one morning and go to grab a sweater, and you have none
Because they are all in her room, somewhere
She is the coldest person on the planet
She is cold all year round, but in winter she transforms into an ice cube
She has multiple fuzzy blankets, and she is clinging to you
She has freezing hands and shoves them under your shirt to warm them up
She wants to have a Christmas party where she invites the whole team
She decorates her house all nice and festive
And ends up putting up mistletoe in her doorway and then pretends she didn't when you walk in
“Oh look! It's mistletoe, I guess we gotta kiss 😏”
“Jackie, it's literally your house”
She's the type of person to subtly drop hints about what she wants for Christmas
In a way that's not even a little bit subtle
Wakes you up early on Christmas to go open presents
Wears some form of red dress with some fluffy white accents
Gets everyone Santa hats
She is quite good at wrapping gifts
She likes to make them look all nice with a few ribbons and a bow
Paints her nails red, green, and white
And if she is able to convince you to get matching nails, she will paint yours too
She would also be into matching outfits
She pouts until you finally give in to her
I feel she wouldn't wear like an ugly Christmas sweater but just something with Christmas colours

Finding out Shauna cheated with Jeff HC's
anon req: "would u do hcs for finding out shauna was cheating on you with jeff? like jackie tells you after she read shaunas journal :)"
You and Shauna were practically inseparable before the crash but you felt like she was pulling away more and more in the wilderness
you would have blamed it on the crash if it wasn't for how incredibly clingy she was after the initial crash. she refused to let you out of sight and would practically sleep on top of you.
that's why it was so noticeable when she suddenly started creating distance between you a couple weeks after the crash.
she suddenly stops wanting to sneak away from the cabin to hook up, claiming headaches or a myriad of other reasons. you wouldn't be concerned about it at all if she didn't start sleeping in the attic as well.
when you tried to follow her up there she claimed that she wanted some space. you were pretty hurt about it and actively avoided her for a few days.
you were super confused why she didn't seem to want you to touch her or started covering up whenever you walked in on her undressing. you just hoped she got over it soon as you really missed your girlfriend.
you were admittedly a little jealous watching Shauna disappear into the woods and whisper with Tai all the time, but you were glad Shauna was making friends.
you and Jackie started hanging out a lot more because of it. you realized that you liked Jackie a lot more than you thought you would. you were curious why Shauna talked so badly about her sometimes, but you didn't want Shauna to feel like her feelings weren't valid so you didn't address it.
Shauna was extremely hesitant about telling Jackie about your relationship so you continued to respect that. It made it a little awkward at times to talk about boys with Jackie but you powered through it.
After a while you start to notice the desperate longing looks on Shauna's face whenever she sees you. One night you wake up to the sound of her crying on the porch. She tries to pretend she wasn't crying when you walk out, but you gently wrap your arms around her from behind and rest your head on her shoulder. She cried for a long time before turning around and kissing you wordlessly and going back inside.
The next day Jackie comes to find you. She brings you further in the forest and quietly hands you Shauna's journal. You try to hand it back to her but she insists. "Shauna's pregnant, Y/N."
You look at her in complete shock and then look at the notebook in your hand. You sit down at the base of a tree and start to read it, tears streaming silently down your face.
The worst part of it all was how apologetic she seemed about it. She spent half of every entry berating herself for doing it. She talked about why she couldn't understand why she would do that to you when she loved you so much. But it didn't stop her from doing it again the next time you guys got in an argument.
you stay quiet for a few days, brooding on the information. Shauna walks up to you a few days later while you're foraging off in the woods and asks to tag along. "I feel like we haven't spent that much time together recently. That's my fault, I know. I just really miss you." She looked so sincere, she really meant it.
"I don't know, Shauna." You say. "Would it hurt the baby?"
Her face crumples immediately and she starts begging you to forgive her. She keeps insisting it was a mistake, that she loves you, that she's sorry. You just stare at her blankly, unable to muster a reaction. You just feel so numb.
She falls to her knees and grabs at your legs, holding on to you desperately as she sobs against you. You watch her for a while, but eventually you push her away gently and go back to the cabin.
You guys won't speak for a long time. You start spending a lot of time with Jackie and talking with some of the other girls. Shauna watches you obsessively but you don't spare her a glance. It's just too painful
When Jackie and Shauna get in their big blowup you go out with her. Not because you were banished, but just to try to convince her to go back inside. Jackie's stubborn though, and eventually you head back inside the cabin long after the other girls went to sleep.
You wake the next morning to Shauna's hysterical screaming. She alternates between your and Jackie's name. The sound of her sobbing is overpowering as you quietly walk out of the cabin. The other girls look at you extremely relieved. They hadn’t realized that you had come back in.
You stop in your tracks when you see Shauna holding Jackie's corpse. You step towards her teary-eyed, quietly grieving the loss of your new friend. She looks desperate when she sees you. Almost as if she's seen a ghost.
You take pity on her and fall to your knees next to her to wrap your arms around her as she sobs into your neck.
You don't forgive her yet, but you're willing to forget. Just for a little while.

Spiderwebs #25: Slaughterhouse
Masterlist
content: captivity, defiant whumpee, hunger strike, mention of feeding tube, threat of vivisection, strangulation/choking, attempted murder, Heather does not have a good time specifically (she’s fine in the end)
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
How could he leave this hell? Such questions were pointless. Maybe Jackie couldn’t make it stop, and maybe he was stuck there for good. He had tried compliance, and he had suffered enough for it. He had tried to run. Was else was there but to bite the hand that fed? He would fight, and he would keep fighting. Until it was physically impossible, or until he had won.
Winning, for Jackie, became less clear-cut. He wanted to go home, of course, but he would have settled for anything. Winning an argument, or winning the irritation of his captor. Winning absolutely anything, anything at all, just to feel some semblance of control. Just to get something back, just to have something to keep.
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
He wasn’t sure how long it had been. He was losing focus. Losing track of time. Time was a fallow, a valley, an absence of itself. Sleep came to him at odd hours, so the days meshed together, marked only by disjointed events. The only things he saw were the walls of the room, never changing, until that sight faded to the back of his mind.
“Eat,” Heather said.
“No.”
“Eat.”
“No,” he repeated calmly.
The bowl of cereal lay untouched on the writing desk. It was sugary cereal. Jackie didn’t even know she had sugary cereal. It looked good, and Jackie was hungry, but he was even more angry.
So was Heather, as he expected. Her eyes narrowed to slits, and her scowl gouged deeper. Her hand darted to him—he flinched—and she grabbed the collar of his shirt. “Jackie, I know you’re upset, but you’re going to eat or I’ll bash your head into this fucking table.”
He managed to smile. "Be my guest.”
She definitely looked like she wanted to, but… she let go instead, her seething stare never leaving him.
He made a point to stare back, not to blink, not to glance away. “Coward.”
He flinched again, as she moved, but he didn’t feel the anticipated pain. Instead, she stormed off and left him there with the cereal.
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
Still, Jackie didn’t eat it. Heather came back the next morning.
“What’s wrong with you?” she snapped. “Why won’t you eat? You’re only hurting yourself.”
“Am I?” He steeled his pleasant expression. It was French toast, this time, glistening with syrup. He was so, so hungry. But he could control himself. He wouldn’t eat. He wouldn’t. He would stop looking at the food. There were worse things than an empty stomach.
“What do you want, then?” Heather asked.
“I want to go home.”
He felt a spark of satisfaction as her eyes ignited with wrath, even though he knew he would pay, even though he knew this couldn’t realistically last long. But he was far beyond caring, and even further beyond self-preservation.
He refused her food, he refused her pills, and he refused to participate in her experiments. He tried to stoke the anger in him, going over every little injustice until it was ingrained in his bones, but his rage was slowly losing steam. Despite that, regardless of what he felt, he was stubborn. And he didn't know what she might have been putting in his meals. Nobody was beyond petty revenge, least of all Heather.
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
By the third day, she seemed to realize he wouldn't listen to reason, because didn't ask him why he was doing this, or what he thought he would gain, or threaten to bash him against the furniture. She still brought food with her, as if that would have any effect. It was cherries this time. He had once mentioned his liking for cherries, and Heather had clearly not forgotten.
“I could always use a feeding tube," she said.
“How creative.”
“Eat.”
“No.”
“Do I need to sedate you?” Her voice had gone cold, which scared him even more than the wrath in her eyes.
“Maybe.” He didn’t want to, but he forced his head up, forced himself to look at her.
She let out a disbelieving little laugh. “You stupid—”
“I’ve heard it all before, Heather. Go on. Skip the insults and sedate me.”
Coward indeed, because she didn’t sedate him. They both knew that was an easy way out—it would mean nothing, and he still would have won. She left the room, once again. That brought them to the fourth day of his hunger strike.
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
The day had gone by as usual. Jackie ignored the twisting complaint of hunger and waited, sitting on the bed, acutely terrified but unable to let go of this thing he’d grasped. Call it stupidity, call it foolish, but a rose by any other name had just as many thorns. Maybe he didn’t have guillotines or gun-bayonets, but he was tired of being a doormat. He was tired of being a lab rat. There! He said it. He was tired of hunger, too, but Heather hadn’t come back with the offer of food yet. In a way, he was glad. Jackie wasn’t sure if he could resist eating for a fourth time.
His room had started to lose its neatness. Normally, Jackie would keep it clean. He’d put everything away, keep everything in its proper place, make the bed and arrange the furniture. He usually had nothing else to do. But recently, he ignored those pleasantries. He knew it would annoy Heather, so he kept the basement as dishevelled as possible. A part of it was fatigue—he was too tired to walk more than a few paces, let alone clean—but that didn’t sound as impressive.
The hours ticked away. He fell asleep, fell out of it, remained in a vague haze for the rest of the time. He tried to read, but he couldn’t focus on the words. The descriptions of sausages irritated him, anyway. The light seemed to get brighter until it was unbearably acute, like the lights surgeons used. He was cold, and his skin was numb, even more so than before.
The lock to the door clicked. This jolted him back into awareness.
Heather descended the stairs and walked over to where he was huddled on the bed. Each clack of her heel against the floor sounded impossibly loud. It echoed, not just throughout the room, but seemingly in the hollows of his chest and the chambers of his heart. She was not carrying any food.
She stopped in front of him. “I’m impressed. You don’t give up easily. I can respect that.”
He didn’t say anything. He didn’t know what to say.
She leaned in a little closer.  “I have a deal for you.”
He stared without blinking, and he held his breath, not even noticing that he was doing it.
“I’ll give you one hour,” she continued. Her voice was so soft that he had to strain to hear it. “If you don’t cooperate by then, I will tie you down and cut you open. I will leave you like that, and if you still haven’t learned your lesson, I’ll let you heal so I can do it again. It’s really not difficult to keep you conscious. If I skinned you entirely, it would only take a few days to grow back. But I can wait as long as I need to.”
Jackie knew she wasn’t bluffing. Coward or not, she was skilled with the scalpel. He heard the way she spoke the first time, saw it in her eyes—she liked doing it, or she found it too interesting to care, and she enjoyed the way he pleaded. The metal tools, the restraints around his wrists, the taste of blood—he would feel it all in excruciating clarity. She had a way of speaking; he saw it all, detailed and vivid.
“Your choice,” she said. “You can’t win this. I know you must feel terrible. Trust me, I can make you feel worse.”
She left without another word. The door locked behind her. He was breathing very quickly. He felt dizzy, and he felt tired. He thought he might faint. The lights were too bright, and the room was too small. His skin felt too tight—his body, his flesh, the thing that would be the end of him. His nerves, his veins. He was nothing but a body and a scared, beating heart, and he really could not win this.
But he couldn't give in. Though it was a stupid hill to die on, it was all he had left. He knew that, if he gave up now, he would not have the will to fight again. Heather would make sure of that.
The hour went by too quickly. He’d barely had time to gather his thoughts and his spiking heartbeat when Heather came back. She wore latex gloves. She held the scalpel in one hand and coils of rope in the other. She stepped towards him silently. It was a good time to say sorry, for sure, or to start praying.
He stood at the farthest wall, ready to run, ready to fight, ready to hide, ready to break down into tears. She stepped closer, and closer, and closer…
He tensed. She was close enough to grab him now, but he was also close enough to grab her. He needed to, because the alternative was too much to bear, because this was it, the crux, the fork in the road, the ultimatum, the only factor between living and becoming a hollow husk. Even if he failed, at least he would go down fighting.
Her hand—the hand holding the scalpel—hovered near his side.
Her expression was oddly calm.
Jackie was scared. Of course, who wouldn’t be? But this was it.
He grabbed her wrist, with a strength that surprised both of them, and wrenched it down. He shoved his full weight into her, caught her off guard. They both went sprawling on the ground. The scalpel clattered across the floor, a few inches away.
He twisted her arm. She winced, it hurt her, he was hurting her, this was wrong. This was all wrong. There was a ringing in his ears, like whining metal, and he could feel his pulse beating against his veins. He pinned her throat down with his other hand. He pushed his knee onto her chest, holding her in place.
“Jackie—“
“You bitch,” he spat. Contempt bubbled up in the back of his throat, hissed straight through his voice. “Go to hell.”
“Jack—“ She gasped again, hoarsely. She tried to shift under him. With her free hand, she attempted to grasp his wrist, blindly clawing at it.
He said nothing else. He was feeling lightheaded, his skin flushed. Her face was going pale. In a few moments, it would go blue or purple, or so he’d heard.
Her gasps grew quieter, hoarser. She struggled like a wren caught in a fist, being slowly crushed to death, still twitching and screeching. He’d forgotten how human she was, how fragile. She was a person, just like Jackie, just like anyone else. Her clawing grew more desperate, but weaker, and her skin felt so warm against his.
“Jack, Jackie, please.” Begging. He’d never heard her beg before.
She made a strained, hitching sound in her throat. Her eyes were wet and shiny. Her pupils were dilated, black as velvet, round as moons. Her hair was strewn across the concrete, caught in painful tangles. Her breathing came in quick and stilted, then there were large gaps of silence with only her struggling, only the sound of his own lungs still pumping and her quiet whimpers. He thought of her unmoving, a corpse, a body without a soul. Like a pig hanging by a hook, eyes like stones, skin like wax. He imagined this would be easier.
Each moment dragged on like nails on a chalkboard. She refused to die. She sputtered and coughed and whimpered but she would not die. He wasn't strong enough to crush her windpipe. It was taking too long, and he was already feeling tired, already losing his grip. And he knew this wouldn't work.
“P—Please.” She barely got the words out. There was a tense, whistling pitch to them. One more gasp—it sounded painful, scraping and coarse. “I’m sorry. I—I’m sorry—“
An apology. I’m sorry. Was that all it took? He was weak. He was gutless. To snuff out a life, to kill the sum of that flame—the thought of it made him sick. He let go.
She lay there, gasping for a minute, rasping and wheezing, just getting the air back into her chest. He noticed a large, plum-dark bruise on her neck with a fuzzy detachment. He couldn’t have done that. It didn’t fit the view he had of himself, to give bruises, to almost choke someone to death. He was not a murderer—really, he wasn’t. He was not a wolf at the door, not the sly fox in the rabbit hutch after all. She was completely unrecognizable to him, the way she was shaking.
Heather staggered to her knees and then to her feet, leaning against the wall. Quickly, she went for the scalpel, held it tight with trembling hands. Her eyes were wide as mirrors. Her hand clutched at her throat. She looked at him like he was a rabid dog, scimitar jaws and hunched shoulders, a snarling animal with blood soaked around its mouth. He held her gaze, still on the ground.
She stepped backwards, still staring at him—then, she ran, bolted up the staircase. He heard the door shut. He heard the door lock. And then he was alone.

"What did I do to deserve this?"
The teal haired netrunner grumbled to herself from behind red lenses- arms bracing herself against a worn and breaking wooden desk. She and her partner - the ex valentino Jackie Welles- had managed to rescue the president and make contact with the sleeper agent Solomon Reed.
But the kicker to it all? They were now stranded in an abandoned high rise. Patience growing thin and good faith running low.
Viridian knew they were too Deep into the belly of dogtown now. Stranded in the mess of it all. Viridian ropped into an elaborate mess of a plan - to rescue the president in exchange for a way out of a rockerboy shapped mess . She wanted Johnny gone. She wanted him out of her head - by any cost at this point.
Everything felt like it was strung together on one very ropey shoe lace.. Orchestrated by a fellow netrunner who would only show herself through showdows. Viridian knew Songbird was hiding something. She saw the faintest glint of an ever unraveling secret.
Her gaze traveled across the scatterly lit office to her partner. Stood leaning against a low wall. His body tense - pursed brow as he rubbed his eyes.
Making eye contact - they both knew knew things were going south.
Overly tired - Viridian spoke her mind. Fuled by this frustration that had been eating at her. Like how a starved dog would gnaw at a bone.
Maybe Johnny's ways were starting to rub off on her...
"This would have never happened if you'd not taken that gig from Dex, yknow- the one that gave your ego a massive hard on-" she started . Her voice was full of resentment.
"Wait wait - What wouldn't have happened Viridian? Tell me-" Jackie tried to remain calm- though he felt his own anger rising.
"If you hadn't taken the job - if you had took two fucking seconds to think that hey- this job sounds fishy - you wouldn't have thrown me back into araska's jaws - it wouldn't have gone south- I wouldn't be infected with this rockerboy parasite that's eating at my psyche with every passing second-" each point becoming more strained - more angry- more raw as the netrunner held back this angry sob. Moving closer to her partner- jabbing a cybernetic finger into the leathers of his bomber jacket.
"Why you putting all the blame on me , Huh V?" Jackie asked - eyebrows furrowed - the two making eye contact now. Jackie could see the corruption- he couldn't tell where Viridian started and ended.
A part of him wondered if Johnny were finally taking over - and that made Jackie all the angrier.
"You found the job- you ropped us into it- it's clearly all your fault-" the anger in Viridian’s voice toxic like a snakes venom. Logically she knew it wasn't his fault. She knew how much Jackie cared for her... but now - she was just beyond the point of reason and logic. She was exhausted- physically and mentally.
"You had every chance to walk away from the gig Viri-" Jackie spat - backing away and pacing across the room - the anger in himself boiling like a pan of hot water. He tried so hard to push it down - stifling it. He didnt want to become his father.
But it was no use - as the argument grew longer - his anger got the better of him. The ex valentino and the red rabbit spitting vile words at one another. It all ending in tears as Jackie took himself out of the room they shared - the air thick with hate.
Jackie's mind wracked with a storm of emotions.
Once the air had settled - he would return to his lover. They would talk it out like adults - like they always did.
For now - he found an opening in the lobby of the abandoned hotel.
His Booted foot stomping over the ledge to check it were secure - he himself down over the ledge - realising the sun finally set over the skyline of dogtown.
He reached into one of the pockets of his bomer and grabbed one of the few smokes he had left. With his golden engraved lighter He lit a ciggerate and inhailed the mentholated smoke. -
Taking a long drag - he tried to let the guilt he felt wash over and through him. He didn't realise this - but his hands shook as the adrenaline spiked in his system.
He never knew just how much pain Viridian were in. She would always just push it down or bottle it up. - that's one of the few things he wished he could change. But he knew his lover was proud to talk to him at times . Almost too proud to admit anything were wrong. It frustrated him. He and Viridian were a team. For better or for worse.
He sighed to himself after exhaling. Knowing fully well he would carry this guilt with him for the rest of his life. Taking a moment to breathe - he wiped the salty tears that burnt in his eyes.
