Here's a little snippet from the fic I'm currently working on:

“You’re infatuated with a new person each month. Give it a week or two and you’ll move on from me as well,” Regulus argued, tugging his legs up so he could put his arms around them. It had been a mistake to bring it up. Salazar, James always seemed to make him bare his heart too much. “Regulus, love, you don't know how much these few hours each morning mean to me—how much you mean to me,” James murmured as he brushed his thumb over Regulus’ cheek, “Trust me, there’s no moving on from you.” Regulus was pretty sure he’d stopped breathing somewhere along the way as James spoke. He was caught in those big brown eyes behind the wireframe glasses. How did James always know just what to say? “You’re not getting rid of me that easily, love” James smiled, his eyes flickering down to Regulus’ parted lips. Leaning in, James pressed his lips to Regulus’, sweet and too brief. Maybe Regulus should have been embarrassed at how he chased after James’ lips, as he drew back, but it was hard to be so when James connected them again, this time for a proper kiss. Regulus melted into it with a sigh.
