I kept thinking of little baby man Phantom and the potential of Danny being an actual baby of the Infinite Realms. However, he’s more snake teenager than itty bitty Little Baby Man edition, cause I think it’d be so funny to just — imagine this teenage snake curled up in a summoning circle, obviously having been taking a nap and looking up with his big green, sleepy eyes and Constantine just stares and freaks because, “THATS A WHOLE ASS BABY, PUT IT BACK!”

But they can’t because apparently the summoning was more of a ‘knock knock I’m a babysitter’ and Danny’s ghost parent decided that this was the perfect time to have some time for themselves if Heroes were so willing to take care of Danny for a little while.

Another take — mainly in reference to a different post about Klarion actually just being a toddler of the infinite realms with no ideas on how to human and thinks him fighting with heroes is just a play date — zooms into the human realm where the heroes are and just goes, “Hey I’m dropping my baby sibling onto you guys cause my dad got mad last time Danny got hurt by the humans I hang with. So here you go, I’ll pick him up later.”

A teenage snake Danny is dropped into a hero’s arms where he mainly grumbles and then shifts to better take a nap. Klarion drops the baby essentials at them with no further explanations other then “here’s their favorite blanket, if they get fussy taco them; here’s the baby milk make sure it’s -200 F, they have an ice core, etc.” and then just DISAPPEARS after leaving what amounts to a month old infant in human heroes care.

Klarion is EXCITED. He's absolutely DELIGHTED even, unable to sit still as he flits from place to place. His baby cousin! Is! Visiting! Which OBVIOUSLY means he, as the older one, must make sure the main places are still standing so he can show his itty bitty baby cousin EVERYTHING! After all, he's never gotten to be the older one! He's always been the youngest in the family! But now he has an itty bitty toddler cousin- form recently shifted to match- to teach the ways of Chaos to! He's so EXCITED!

The League and heroes on the other hand, are Very concerned about Why the Witch Boy has been spotted in practically every major city in the US in the last few days. What is he planning?!

My art recap for 2022! (LONG POST)

(I can't save drafts anymore over on Twitter so uhh guess I'll have to do this earlier than I would have wanted XD )

I was busy this year, and that’s why I didn’t get to make as much art as I did the previous years. My goal was to make at least 1 piece a month, but ended up cutting it down to having enough for this collage. I could go on about how I wish I could do more, but doing this recap made me think about the things to be grateful for, which I’ll focus on instead: 

1) I was able to pick up on old concepts and finish them. 

My initial sketch for this Klarion piece may have been from around 2020, but this design along with all my Klarion ideas were much, much, older. It feels good to be able to follow through on old idea. 

2) I made art for fandoms I hadn’t before. 

I’ve been into Sandman and Hellblazer for years but it’s only now I’ve made fanart for them. FOTF is out of my comfort zone and I often struggle with fanart for live action shows (which Desire here is from), yet I’m happy with the results. I think it shows that back then I wasn’t there YET, but I am NOW. 

3) I challenged myself and came through. 

This Keykid piece is my most complex from this year. I had a hard time with the details and foreshortening. I could have gone the easy route several times but kept pushing to achieve my vision. In the end, I’m happy with the result. 

4) Things did get better. 

This food piece is nothing special and I could have swapped it with my much nicer Keykid piece. But I did the food one during an art block when I felt hopeless and thought I wouldn’t be able to draw anymore or have time for it. But by the end of the year, I did achieve more than I thought I would, so I kept it in. 

5) I was still able to do things for my CT AU. 

I finally posted a 2-year old WIP fanfic (read here!), and also started doing asks and occasional RP-ing. I also made this Halloween idea I’ve had for just as long. Even though the AU didn’t get much this year, I was still able to accomplish some firsts. 

6) In the end, I had more than enough for the collage. More than I thought I’d have at the start of the year. 

So what’s my takeaway from this year? Sometimes we don’t achieve things because it’s not the right time, but that doesn’t mean never. It just means NOT YET. So at the end of the year 2022, I will think not about what I “didn’t do”, but instead what I did, and what I didn’t do YET.

On that note, I capped this year's art this month to focus on busy life stuff and also prepare a bunch of concepts in advance for next year! I'm excited for it and hope to make great stuff.

writing this cuz I own an explanation to my ... 76 followers? I don't think anyone care about this but let's go:

most of you probably followed me because of blue exorcist stuff. Thing is that I don't use this account anymore n I don't bother to updating it. Tumblr kinda suck for artists...

And I'm also not a blue exorcist fan anymore lol. I'm now doing my own thing at Instagram , https://instagram.com/endermaul_art?utm_medium=copy_link , posting OCs and I also have a webtoon involving said OCs. ( Wich main characters r demons and were obviously inspired by blue exorcist haha ) My artstyle changed a lot and I can count on my fingers the fanarts I do now... They're mostly pied piper fanart or Klarion the witch boy fanart lol. Its always some random obscure character I can find.

As many people in this fandom I just... Left or stopped caring about blue exorcist. Yeah it still important to me and influenced my likes and my tastes but I'm not interested in making fanart or rebbloging or reading the newest chapters. maybe rewatching it cuz nostalgia but that's all.

That's why I don't delete this account btw, i like coming back and seeing my old posts and the fanarts I used to retweet.

This fandom progressively got smaller and smaller. We got a season 1 on 2011 and waited 6 years for a 12 episode season, and then nothing about season 3. I think it's time we understand that animes get new seasons not because of mystic reasons but because they r popular and give money. Blue exorcist was popular a time ago but now its a few fans who keep reading it, some old fans don't even know there's a season 2, I dont think there will ever be a third season, unless the manga explodes in popularity.

Popular artists on YouTube says you need to make fanart in order to get popularity. But the truth is, that's not true. Unless the thing you're making fanart of is extremely popular that won't work. Fanart doesn't necessarily mean it's popular, you can make fanart of a show nobody elses know but you enjoy and that's okay.

Even if you made fanart of popular things, like I kinda did, i mean blue exorcist isn't super well known but it's bigger than any of my authoral projects will ever be, that doesn't mean people who like blue exorcist will like you. People don't like your fanart because they like you or your art, people like it because they like the characters and the story someone else made.

Yeah some people may get interested in your authoral projects because they saw a fanart of yours, but the fanart was just a way to discover you, not to make them like or follow you. Most people that follow you will be probably fans of that anime or more popular show that want to see more fanarts, and that's okay, if you want to draw fanart for the rest of your life and rely on others characters and stories to make your own sucess do it, as along as you happy it's perfectly fine.

My blue exorcist posts used to get like some hundreds likes, Wich is not a lot but for me as a starting artists is a lot. But my OC's post used to get less than 10 haha, so I figured out Tumblr wasn't worth Fighting for. Ig isn't good but it's better than Tumblr I think. I think Tumblr is only good if you're in a fandom. Wich I'm not at the moment and don't plan into entering. I never did blue exorcist fanart because I wanted to be popular or whatever. I did it because I loved the show and the characters and loved reading the manga and making theories, but now... I just don't anymore.

Sure! These are the fics about Dick Grayson that I remember enjoying most of all. They are mostly gen.

1) The Art of Bird Metaphor series by lowflyingfruit

starting with the fic of the same name,

Batman works alone. Everyone knows that. What Jason's learning is that he also has a penchant for picking up strays. And while Jason's just your common or garden Gotham street rat, Bruce's other stray, Richard, is an ex-assassin for the Court of Owls. An ex-assassin for the Court of Owls who hates Jason's guts.

Adjusting to life in Wayne Manor was hard enough already.

First fic in the series is more about Jason|Dick|Bruce relationships but the rest of them focus more on Dick himself. It’s a Talon!Dick AU where Batman rescued him when he is already a young adult after Dick spent some time being a Talon and an assassin for the Court. Deprogramming, first forays into being a hero, meeting Batgirl, and more!

The author has also a great long and dealing with aftermath of what Tarantula did kidfic Second Generation, another Talon!AU Talon's Grasp, and more. Basically, if you like Dick Grayson, subscribe to this author.

2)  After the Fall of Olympus by Killthespare

The League has fallen. The team is dead. All that’s left is for Dick Grayson to pick up the pieces and move forward.

Easier said than done.

Despite the premise, it’s not a darkfic or particularily angsty one. It’s a great plot-heavy and character-driven Dick Grayson adventure story, just the adventure starts after a rather grim event. Set in the YJ Universe so expect the supporting cast from there as well.

It’s a WIP so far, 169K and counting, definitely recommend to bookmark and subscribe.

3) Sons and Fathers by FabulaRasa

Dick has three conversations that needed to be had, at the end of season three. This is blatantly a "there I fixed it" fic.

This is only Batlantern if you squint.

While it’s het I still recommend reading it because a) it’s Fabula Rasa, come on - imo, one of the best shipping fic/romance writers in DC fandom where you couldn’t care less about the ship but still enjoy the story greatly and b) it’s a great Dick-centric story set in YJ universe

4) Chaos Theory by solomonara starting with Ends, Means, and In-Betweens

Still trying to figure out his identity as Nightwing and what it means for his relationship with Batman (not to mention the new Robin), the last thing Dick needs is to get tangled up in a feud between the Joker and Klarion. Unfortunately, Klarion doesn't exactly ask his opinion before abducting him…

Set in YJ universe, it’s a great series about Dick Grayson that will put you at the edge of your seats. In the later fics, Dick also has chaos magic, and I swear it works.

5)  A Zoo For Canines by  jerseydevious

Dick, Bruce, and Jason head out to a cabin in the mountains, and they handle things about as well as they handle anything.

While it’s yet again less Dick-centric and more equaly about Jason|Dick|Bruce, it’s one of the few fics that allow Dick to just - express his feelings, rage if he wants to rage, be less - or more - than your ideal son or brother, but instead a person. I love it.

It’s WIP but worth bookmarking and checking the previous fic in the series, An Aquarium of Nameless Things.

6) In For a Pound by Cdelphiki starting with In For a Penny

25 is too young to be a Dad.  That's what Bruce thought when Talia dropped off this baby she claimed was his.  Add to that a jealous 11-year-old Dick, and Bruce has his hands full.   What does one even do with a baby?  Why does this baby scowl so much?  And when on earth is Talia coming back?

Dick|Damian|Bruce fic, the first part of the series, great what-if, deals with family themes in a very relatable and realistic way.

- I love it there isn’t any sound during the space battle just like Jaime reminded us: “There’s no sound in space.”

- Halo eats marshmallows, isn’t it made with pork? I’m sure she doesn’t know it (and ignores pretty much everything about Islam). But that would be great if someone is the Team explain her there’s more about it than just the hijab. She feels it right, but she doesn’t know why.

- Forager just throws the banana and eats its skin xD

- So the meteorite create the first metahuman and gave Vandal the power of immortality. But does it work only with lifespan or heal fatal wounds like Halo too? Or he just gets stronger with blood? 

- Vandal was known as Gengis Khan, an Mongol emperor who ruled one of the longest empire in human history. That reminds me the CGI TMNT movie where an immortal was beyond every great man in history and I’m pretty sure in the same case here.

- Simon Stagg, another bad guy working with the Light? Or more like a competiter since he doesn’t use the round controled device but something else? 

- Nanotech, I was right! 

- I’m glad Mist and Livewire won’t be send to Belle Reve. Them being kidnapped results as them having a second chance :) 

- So the big machine was Reach tech? Was could it do? Metahuman Failsafe. That could be use(ful) later I think. 

- Who is the police inspector? (Edit: Batwoman fiance/girlfriend). 

- Dr Stone! :D ouch, that wiring doesn’t seem good... 

- So Shade was in the three operations: the long hair man kidnapped, then the shave man controled by Mad Hatter and then working with Jade. 

- Well, not anymore, I think she’s freed him. Maybe herself too? And now, he would get his revenge against Stagg...

- So they became the Light’s nemesis by working as they do since season 1. I think Green Arrow doesn’t know, nor Artemis and Conner. The Anti-Light = darkness. Yeah, doesn’t sound catchy but the bad guy took a good guy word for their own... 

- Diana: “are you all prepared to lie?” You weren’t on Earth in season 2 and it shows...

- Sphere! :D

- New Light. There are Queen Bee, Monsieur Mallah or Ultra Humanite, Klarion, someone small... 

- Wait! Is that Blue? Is he controled again?? 

Queen Bee appears indeed, in front of a big Scarab wall. They are in the Beetle temple we saw in season two. I clearly don’t like it! 

- Savage is there too, return from the War World, thanks to a boom tube I guess?

- Rimbor, is this the planet the JL attacked in season 1? Nope, the one where the trial was made in season 2. 

- The robot looks like the one working with the 3 eyes alien who destroyed the Justice Hall in season 2. Those robots should be pretty common in space I think? And its also telepathic. 

- Lobo? (Well, I would have called him Loco but...) has a target? Sounds bad, he never miss a contract...

- BABIES TORNADO!! 

- I love how Iris put the statement that once a woman has kids, nobody take her seriously at her job anymore. 

- It’s so crash they opened a Center for the abducted metateens. Hope they won’t make the same mistakes than for the Runaways! 

- Of course it’s Dr. Eduardo Dorado Senior who runs it :) Of course Dinah would be the therapist and there is Captain Marvel who can relate being a teen with superpowers (even if nobody should know he’s in fact 17 years old) There are Ed and Nathaniel, they grew up so much! :o 

- I’m glad Mist and Livewire go there. 

- Bart who babysit his dad and aunt (Donnie and Dawn, but Donnie is the short cut from what name?) is the sweetest and weirdest thing xD But they’re so cute! 

- “Dont call him Dad! And don’t call me Grandma!” That should happen pretty often it they’re still at this after 2 years xD 

- That’s Mera and Arthur, the child she was pregnant with in season 1! That could explain why the first Aquaman is retired.

- Gretchen Goode, why I already hate her? If she is working with the bad guys, she plays a part with Gordon, as they’re working for the same people. 

- “Turning brains to mush” Why it feels like that would happen for real, like litterarly? 

- Gordon’s speech seems the typical adult one against technology. Gordon didn’t search his lie far away ^^ 

- Goode World Studios and Wayne Fundation working together, tell me Batman knows what he’s doing, at least has suspicions; But of course they will both give resources to the Center, but not for the same reasons... 

- I love how Gordon plays the bored one xD But he still installs fear of the metateens to his audience è.é 

- Bruce declined his offer to come. Yep, Batman knows what he’s doing! “What is he hiding?” Does Gordon have a clue he’s Batman or what? Or just speculating a rich man couldn’t be that good? (the feeling we should have about Granny Goodness)

- “He’s the worst! But he’s kind of fascinating.” I think it’s the opinion of the whole fandom? 

- Gregor is so great! More country rulers should take him as an example about refugies! 

- Will is there with Lian, Lynn (Jeff’s ex wife) whit their two daughters.

- Halo has good reflexes and Forager understood quite fast.

- John? Who is.. OMG it’s Red Tornado!! With his adoptive daughter, Traya. (If you want to know more about her, she has an arc in the original Young Justice comics!) John adopted her when she became an orphan after a city’s attack and saving her. I don’t know if she would be from Qurac or Bialya.

History

Mary Bromfield is the sister of Billy Batson and a similarly powered superheroine under the name Mary Marvel.

The Power of Shazam!

Mary and Billy's parents are archaeologists, and Mary accompanies her parents on an expedition to Egypt while Billy remains at home. Mary's parents are killed by their associate Theo Adam, who then kidnaps the young girl. Upon Theo Adam's return to the United States, Adam's sister learns what Theo has done and takes Mary into her care. Primm has Mary illegally adopted by Primm's childless employers, Nick and Nora Bromfield. As Mary Bromfield, the young girl grows up living an idyllic life in a wealthy family but continuously dreams of another family with a brother she has never seen.

Meanwhile Billy, eventually finding himself on the streets, is given the power to become Captain Marvel. He learns that Mary is still alive. But after four years of searching, neither he nor his benefactor, the wizard Shazam, can find the girl. The only thing Billy has to remember Mary by is her favorite toy, a "Tawky Tawny" doll, which was shipped to America with the Batsons' possessions after their murders.

As a young teenager, Mary enters a regional spelling bee held in Fawcett City and emceed by Billy. After saving Mary from kidnappers twice as Captain Marvel, Billy notices how much Mary Bromfield reminds him of Mary Batson and has an undercover cop named “Muscles” McGinnis retrieve the girl's forged adoption record. Learning that Mary is indeed his sister, Billy tries to figure out a way to let Mary know he is her brother. The old "Tawky Tawny" doll suddenly transforms into a full-sized tiger and comes to life a la Hobbes, and instructs Billy to take the doll to Mary. As Captain Marvel, Billy flies out to the Bromfields' hometown of Fairfield to deliver the doll and the adoption papers to Mary.

Arriving at the Bromfield estate, Billy delivers the package but is immediately kidnapped by the thugs who helped Primm forge Mary's adoption records. Mary takes the package and opens it, discovering the adoption records and the Tawky Tawny doll. Once again, the doll comes to life and instructs the bewildered girl to say the magic word “Shazam” in order to save her brother. Mary complies, and is transformed by a bolt of magic lightning into a super-powered doppelganger of her deceased mother. She saves Billy, who transforms into Captain Marvel to help Mary out. But the two Marvels cannot save Sarah Primm, who is murdered by one of the thugs.

Super Buddies and Beyond

In 2003, Mary became a member of an offshoot of the Justice League known as the Super Buddies in the Formerly Known as the Justice League miniseries, which juxtaposed her Golden Age-era personality with the modern-day world for comic effect.

While with the Super Buddies, her innocent ways often clashed with Fire, her new roommate. Warrior's opening of a bar next door and making lewd comments to the females of the team only furthered their discomfort.

Mary was later held by demons in hell--where Shazam's power does not work. As ransom, Blue Beetle and Booster Gold were forced to work for 'BeelzeBurger', a fast food joint that was literally from hell. They escaped only to find themselves in a world with twisted and evil versions of themselves. Eventually, they were all saved by Dr. Fate. Mary and her other Super Buddies teammates were later seen battling the OMACs.

Mary appeared at Black Adam and Isis' wedding, and later Isis' and Osiris' funeral, and fought Black Adam in World War III.

While in a mid-air battle with a fire-harpy, Mary lost her powers in mid-flight as an after-effect of the death of the wizard Shazam, and fell from a height of 3 miles. Mary survived the fall, but ended up in a coma in New York City; Freddy spent all of his money to pay for her care.

Countdown

Mary emerged from her coma. A note from Freddy Freeman left with a nurse asked her not to look for him. When Mary attempted to call on the power of Shazam, she found that she was still powerless. Madame Xanadu warned Mary not to visit Gotham City, telling her it would be especially dangerous, but she made her way there nonetheless. Mary is drawn to the abandoned Kahndaqi embassy, where she is attacked by squatting criminals. As they cornered her, her pursuers were attacked by a fully-powered, unhinged Black Adam, who then directed his fury at her. But after nearly choking her, Adam took pity on the powerless Mary and instead gave her his powers. While Adam once again became his mortal alter-ego, Teth-Adam, Mary transformed back into her adult Marvel form, but this time she was wearing a black, form-fitting costume with a skirt and since Adam was not sharing his powers with anyone else when he granted them to Mary, she held all of Black Adam's powers.

Finding Adam's power to be more than she bargained for, Mary went in search of a tutor. She first sought out Zatanna, who took her to Shadowcrest for training. But when Zatanna refused to give her access to any of the magical weapons, Mary began to believe that Zatanna was merely planning to steal her power and attacked her. Zatanna thus banished Mary from Shadowcrest.

Wandering around, Mary ended up in Chung Ling Soo Square, a flea market of magic located in China. When one of the locals attacked her, she was saved by the witch-boy, Klarion Bleak, who offered to help her control her powers in exchange for a small fraction of it. She accepted, but when he tried to steal all her power, she defeated him and left him to the mercies of Chun Ling Soo's locals.

Drawn away by a mysterious voice, she arrived in Ephesus, Turkey, where she found Eclipso, who offered mentorship with seemingly no strings attached. Under her tutelage, Mary went on a campaign of cruelly-twisted justice, punishing terrible crimes in an excessive manner.

Their alliance, however, seemed to break down when Eclipso, hoping to please her master, Darkseid, offered him the young and pretty Mary to serve as his new concubine, reasoning that the two women could always leech Darkseid's arcane knowledge, slay him and take his place. Mary refused to sell herself for more power, beat Eclipso with her own crystal, and fled. Eclipso caught up to her and regained the diamond. Eclipso then departed, leaving Mary alone again. Some time later, Eclipso returned to try and finish her off, but Mary was too strong for her.

Mary experienced a change of heart, and upon realizing that Black Adam's powers were as responsible for her corruption as Eclipso, divested herself of them, feeding the lighting bolt into Eclipso. Both women lost their powers and fell into the ocean. However an unpowered Mary landed on Themysciran soil, where Queen Hippolyta drafted her in the rebellion against Granny Goodness, who was posing as the goddess Athena.

Mary, Holly Robinson and Harley Quinn managed to reveal Granny's deception, and the trio followed her to Apokolips. After escaping the Female Furies, Mary started to hear the voices of the gods. The group managed to free the gods from an Apokaliptan chamber, and Mary Marvel's powers and a new variation of her classic costume, now with a gray lightning bolt and long sleeves, were restored.

After journeying with the Challengers to Earth-51 and witnessing the Great Disaster occurring there, Mary finally returns home to find Darkseid waiting for her. Reminding her of how strong she felt using Black Adam's powers, he returns them to her, restoring her black costume. She then confronts Donna Troy, Kyle Rayner, Forager, and Jimmy Olsen, seizing Jimmy to take him back to Darkseid. When Donna questions Mary's use of the powers, Mary insists that she is not evil, merely "driven". After Darkseid's defeat, Mary returns to Black Adam, asking to be a part of a new Black Marvel Family. Adam refuses her, and she decides to become a solo superheroine.

Final Crisis

Still under the dark influence of Darkseid, Mary was corrupted and turned into a vessel for one of Darkseid's servants. She was in Blüdhaven just before the Apokolitian forces spread the Anti-Life Equation worldwide, and she was instrumental in turning Wonder Woman into a "plague vector" for a new strain of the Morticoccus virus.

During the superhero's attack on Bludhaven, she was part of the force that defended Darkseid's fortress. She clashed with Freddy, Tawky Tawny, and Black Adam. Almost immediately, Adam tried to kill her, telling Freddy that it was not Mary who was in control — just "a leering old man" as Adam put it. As the battle continued, Mary focused on Supergirl, flying across the city and damaging the remaining buildings. Finally, Freddy managed to grab ahold of Mary and shouted "Shazam", transforming them both back to normal and suppressing or removing DeSaad's influence from Mary. She broke down crying over what she had done, as Freddy reassured her that it wasn't her fault.

Shazam One-Shot

Desiring the power of the Marvels, Blaze strikes a deal with Mary. She will return Mary's powers, provided that she kills Freddy Freeman. Mary, still desperate for her power, agrees, but discusses it with Freddy, and they double cross Blaze. After Blaze is sent back to Hell, Billy, Mary and Freddy continue their search for their powers.

Fun Facts

Mary Batson is lactose-intolerant.

During the events of Final Crisis, Mary was transformed by the power of Darkseid's Omega Effect into an extremely powerful vessel for the New God Desaad. While transformed, Mary was older, dressed in a dominatrix outfit, had pink pig tails and an otherwise shaved head, as well as claws for hands that were strong enough to slice through a transformed Freddy Freeman's chest and face. She stated that she had "New Gods" and a new "Dirty Magic Word" to transform. Mary's powers appeared to be largely the same as both her original Mary Marvel and her Black Adam fueled powers, but at even greater levels. She was able to fight the likes of Supergirl, Wonder Woman, and Captain Marvel without too much trouble. It appears that this form of Mary is fueled by Anti-Life rather than magic.

Mary Batson is traditionally a Republican.

My Personal DC Cinematic Universe (Part 4)

I apologize for quite possibly the WORST writing delay ever seen on this website but once more, here are some ideas I would put into place if I were in charge of WB’s DC Comics film franchise; it’s a pet project I would like to call the DC Comics’ Capes and Masks Universe

Phase 2 Finale:

Young Justice II: Independence Day: The UK’s new ‘Youths of Espionage’ Protocol under the guidance of Maxwell Lord meets both praise and scorn from their peers for fears of lingers relentlessly. Tim Drake’s leadership of the Team proves the deciding factor for this coalition of the world’s youngest weapons seems all the more willing in splintering off into the separate ways. So, the remnants of the H.I.V.E. , led by the last of the major leaders Doctor Light (composed of Psimon, Klarion the Witch Boy, and Sportsmaster) began a plot: with agents infiltrating inside MI 6 to drive the Team apart through their issues and their discontent with each other (Drake’s ever so bossy attitude towards his teammates, Conner’s  inability to be as inspirational as the man he was cloned from, Megan’s dark secret about her alien heritage via her integration methods, etc.). The next step afterwards, placing their agents to replace the U.K. intelligence in charge, outlawing any chance of this Team coming back and leaving the U.K. open to an open attack. Can the Team pull themselves together and stop Dr. Light’s ultimate plan? Perhaps a certain red caped Kryptonian from America and even a visitor from the red planet of Mars can both help them? 

Phase 3: 

Aquaman: Maine fisherman Arthur Curry always had a strange sympathy and empathy for life under the seas but can’t place his finger on why. Daydreams of a remarkably beautiful woman he saw within his childhood swimming only adds matters into this wondering but surely both might some answers later on. However, these questions finally unravel when a young man washes ashore, with ancient aquatic clothing, purple eyes, and out of all things gills on his neck. Now this 12 year old named Garth might provide all Arthur wants and far more when a self proclaimed ‘Ocean Master’ threatens the surface world, all relating back to Arthur and this one boy. It’ll take bonding with Garth, some self discovery of a hidden past and tapping into his hidden gifts for Arthur to stop Ocean Master and fulfill his unknown destiny. 

Wonder Woman II: As her adventures continue with her friends Etta and Steve throughout the world, Diana  finds herself continuously trying to find the right occasion to finally ask Steve her ultimate trial: proposing marriage. A new ally soon appears to help Diana, a young woman crafted from clay not by the Amazons but by a rival tribe called the Bana with hopes to counter Amazonian influence in the grand scale of gods and monsters. This woman, Donna Troy, eventually broke from their influence but now is a young woman without a home or a country and what does Diana see in her, potential for being a good person. This will be put to the test with the Bana summoning their own gods unto our world in an all out war against the Amazons in what looks like a battle of good and bad. Diana will learn however, with Donna’s viewpoint and discovery of where exactly the Bana come from, that once more it isn’t always so black and white. Also, what will she even wear for a potential wedding with Steve. 

-This movie here will contain a post credit scene; a lone man watching the events around Donna Troy unfolding, at the same time as Titans Tower becomes complete, and Young Justice battles the HIVE at London, wearing a black-orange mask with plenty of weapons, destroying training equipment and a single family photo: “Wilson Family, 1996″ and a large anti-shrine against numerous people who have crossed him, causing his family to split, in particular Amanda Waller. 

Doom Patrol: While Garfield Logan aka Beast Boy has had a rather calm transition into a new life as a Titan and a superhero, he had never anything resembling a normal nicely subtle family life ever since finding out about his experimentation at STAR Labs. Two candidates for adopted parents, Rita Farr and Steve Dayton, seem the perfect choices....had it not been for their secret crazy adventures alongside a few friends to explore the truly surreal and expansive parts of the world. It seems our favorite green skinned hero just can’t get a break from adventures can he? But that kinda bit serves as a point, serving a commentary on how much of constant adventuring can one person take while remaining his usual self not to mention of the spouts of depression Garfield can feel after all this happens. Still though that pondering will have to be in the background, there are dinosaurs to battle after all.  

-Once more in the post credit scene, we see the mysterious masked man with a grudge against Waller and her cronies, with measurements of power that her protectors the Titans had against his own enhanced strength, in particular interest in their most ‘wildcard’ due to the most lack of control over her powers, Terra....

Cyborg: Life for Victor Stone, while not the best, has mostly been addressed and improved for the most part. All that needs to happen now is rekindle that strained bond between him and his mother after her involvement in what happened to him courtesy of STAR Labs. However, old blood is after Mrs. Stone as former employees of STAR Labs wish to steal the notes she had in secret to their own gain, financially or otherwise. Vic ain’t going to let this fly though, and probably it’ll take his friend in Terra as backup to put a stop to these goons and their super advanced tech to protect his new home in Harlem along with his mother. Had it been a bit easier had it not for the trademark lack of control that Terra has....

-While Victor and his mother indeed are safe in spite of all the damage done, Terra unfortunately runs off away from her friend, seeing all the unnecessary destruction, resultant hatred and utter guilt from abilities that she didn’t even want, much like Vic who does find a recovery Terra just can’t have. The post credit scene shows her in a far off place, mostly likely the Mojave desert, tear struck and emotionally at turmoil for all the happens, not helped by what Amanda Waller had just texted to her, essentially firing her for insubordination. She isn’t alone forever though; a lone man approached Terra right behind her, stating of how Waller essentially just ruined her life by having her using her powers and just leaving her for dead when things get rough between them. He went through a similar fate when she approached him for his talents, only to result in his son kidnapped, his left eye gone, his wife forced to break with him and labeled unfairly as a terrorist. He wants payback against Waller and those directly under her control and maybe, just maybe, he can help Terra refine her powers so no one will be hurt under his watch. He offers his hand and gives his name, Slade Wilson, the Deathstroke.... 

Grayson III: Dark Victory:  Life has been more or less stable for Richard Grayson ever since the invasion of Earth but he nonetheless feels that bit of shock and awe. His vigilante career has also been now known throughout the public, so not only has he gotten credit for his deeds to the people of Bludhaven but treat as a celebrity for it. So with many people looking to him as a symbol of hope despite being so young, probably his years as a Boy Wonder might possibly growing a bit old, he won’t give fighting for Truth and Justice but maybe Robin might not be his front to do so. However, Robin would be called into action one last time as an anti heroic figure appears, not so younger than him, blasting criminals in the face with firearms and more and more cynical citizens applauding this form of justice with methods they think are as effective as even the legendary Batman years ago. Even little kids with their lives orphaned by mob bosses started wearing Red Hoods to idolize this one vigilante over Robin. There’s the mystery of who this Red Hooded vigilante is, why he takes the firearms as a means to fight crime and what he has towards Robin as a relationship. This swan song for Robin will forever change the fate of the Grayson in the Capes and Masks Universe .

1. Would you rather write a more classical hero or an anti-hero as a protagonist? I’d rather write a hero for the protagonist, but an anti-hero as a general character

2. Who is your favorite character you have written and why? Ever? That’s cruel. Out of people that y’all would know, Urial does seem to generate the most emotional reactions

3. How many WIPs do you have? 3 proper ones, currently: Iron Flower, Space Royalty and Piracy Pays

4. Who is your least favorite character you have written and why? To write? Klarion from Young Jutsice fanfic. Motherfucker would not follow the assigned plot. Hate-wise? Possibly Coincidence or Accord, neother of whom you guys have met yet. Those two are a pair of nasty criminals/villains, and they are a little too good at punishing anyone who gets in their way

5. What is your favorite aspect of writing? Finishing!

6. If you had only one sentence (per WIP) to get someone to read your books, what would the sentences be? They wouldn’t because I suck at loglinesss...humourously though?

IF: an entire continent is saved from the ravages of war by the ancient art of sexting via treaty negotiations Space Royalty: ‘she stabbed me? god-fucking-dammit I am so in love with her’ Piracy Pay: you get to chug your drink every time I kill a character

7. If your protagonists fought to the death, which one would win? Protags? Depends if morals were removed, and whether it was on-on-one. Koronis, if not -he’s an emperor with black magic and an entire galaxy-wide army.  If it was on-on-one with minimised morals, Ace would stand a damn good chance. Boy is smarter than he gives himself credit for, and very adaptable. Galaxy is also pretty viable. Girl can swing a superpowered punch like she means it, and she hasn’t survived this long on luck alone.

8. Which protagonist(s) would survive the zombie apocalypse? Koronis would. Ace would die trying to save someone else. Solaris would...provided Monarch was dragging him around, and even then they might go down together in a dramatic last stand. Galaxy would be in charge of a small, benevolent queendom. Cleo would, those plant skills would make her handy to any new civilisation. Fact would go down staving off the hoardes so everyone else could run. Rosalie would think she was the weak link of her group, but they would probably keep her alive; L’aura would kick zombie ass.

9. Which is your favorite story you have written or are working on? Space Royalty is damn fun to write -the benefits of extravagant, overdramatic space operas I suppose. Piracy Pays has had a good reception, so I’m pretty proud of that. Hopefully I can keep the momentum going until the end! It is a huge pain o write though

10. Which of your characters is your favorite villain and why? Raph is my evil supervillin crimelord Big Bad and I adore him utterly

1. When you’re describing a new character, what feature do you usually note first? Build, usually, as in their height/weight ratio, muscles/skinniness or lack of, how they carry themself etc. The reason for this is that I often start with the macro ‘impression’ of the character before zooming in on a few specifics. I try to use an interesting description or comparison here as well.

2. Do any of your characters play an instrument or really enjoy music in general? If so, what instrument (or what genre, if it’s the latter)? I am the least musical person on planet earth, so making my characters musical often doesn’t occur to me. Koronis can sing and play the space-piano (forced childhood lessons), and Jade can play the violin, but neither of them are passionate about it. Kolya/Cynosure (the popstar/supervillain) is very very musical, but I skip around a lot of the specifics because I’m a big cheater. He mostly makes anti-establishment and anti-hero music, but he’s one of those artists who strays all over different genres.

3. Which musical artist usually gets you the most pumped to write? Les Friction does good dramatic music and they’re not so well known, so I like to tell people about them when I can

4. Do you prefer writing fight scenes over other types? (This is a weirdly worded question I’m sorry, rip) It’s worded fine, sunshine! And no, I don’t like writing fight scenes because I don’t like the logistics of them. There are too many limbs to keep track of, and then I feel like I’m neglecting their surroundings and potentially useful items in favour of mentally tracking who’s where and what their arms and legs are doing. I cover up for my fight scene weaknesses with too much dialogue, and I’m fully aware of that fact.

5. Is there a city or country you’d really like to write in or about? Write in is probably just where I’d like to travel, so Russia, India and South America (I know that’s general but it’s the only continent except Antarctica that I haven’t been to) are my top choices. Write about…I’d like to sink myself deep into east coast USA to really nail the feeling of Galaxy’s city and her character, and then be able to confidently write about it. I do have a study year abroad coming up in 2020, so here’s hoping…

6. Do you prefer to be warm or cold while you write? Warm! I love blankets and my big fluffy dressing gown, and on top of that all my friends always complain about how hot my house is

7. Do any of your characters have hobbies you’d like to try out someday? Fiction wise, glo-ball from Space Royalty sounds like a very entertaining game, especially when I’m kept safe behind a pod. sodding netball injuries Jade paints and draws, and I’d love to get better at art. Likewise, Rosalie sews, making and decorating her own clothes, and I’d love to be able to do that. Idk, does being a supervillain count as a hobby? I’d love to rob a bank…not even necessarily for the money, just the #aesthetic

8. What is your favorite type of character to write? Villains! And morally grey people. And characters where the POV character has no idea what they’re really thinking, who they really are, what they actually want etc. And, on the flip side, balls of positive sunshine, because they make me feel better about the world

9. Halloween is here! Which character has a costume made for them by their mom? Ahahahahaha can you tell how late I am to this.

Rosalie thinks the holiday is childish but dresses up in the most elaborate homemade princess outfit ever and entertains all the kids she can find. What, it is a children’s holiday, surely she should be making them happy on their special day…

1.      How long have you been working on your WIP(s) for? Iron Flower is the oldest current one, and I started it on Christmas Day 2016

2.      What song would you assign as your protagonist’s theme tune? I’ll just pick one, and Koronis’ is Young and Menace by FOB. No real lyrical reason, it just reminds me of him

3.      Do you have any favourite spots (gardens, parks, cafes, etc.) where you like to write? The sofa in my living room next to my family

4.      Poetry or Prose? Prose!

5.      Where do you draw inspiration for your writing from? Everywhere! Other people’s writing and prompts and published novels and TV and movies and random stray thoughts and daydreaming and chatting to other writers and-

6.      Is there any popular book that you wish you had written and why? The Lies of Locke Lamora because I’d take out the first 100-ish page of solid worldbuilding and backstory that seemed almost completely irrelevant to the rest of the plot?And the domino-effect of all the plot elements knocking each other into action at the end was so clever, it annoyws me that the beginning means I don’t like reccing it to people

7.      What’s your planning process when you start working on a new WIP? I daydream about it for at least a few weeks to make sure the idea has staying power. Then I come up with character names, quirks, descriptions etc. finally, I lay out the plot chapter-by-chapter from the beginning to the end so I have a guiding rope throughout the whole process and I’m less likely to get stuck. Of course, that’s when I plan on letting a WIP bloom into being. Some, like Space Royalty and Piracy Pays, start off as short drabble ideas and then refuse to leave, which means I have no concrete plan for them...

8.      Do you work best in mornings, afternoons, or at night? Evening!

9.      Would you prefer to self-publish or work with an agent and publishing company and why? Agent and publishing company, because I value the help they can provide more than the ability to retain complete creative control over my book (since I’m crap at titles and designing book covers anyway)

10.  How do your emotions/moods affect your writing? Not a lot tbh. If I’m very very tired I can’t write anything good, but I’m not sure that counts as an emotion.

11.  What’s your favourite line of your WIP/one of your poems? I’ve written both of my current favourite lines for prompts, which were: ‘Time hollows all victories’ and ‘The hero doesn’t die in this one’. I’ve had other favourites in WIPs over time, but I can’t think of them right now

1) How are you so awesome? Genetics.

2) What’s your favorite thing about your writing? The dialogue! Or the romances, which I mostly like because of the fun/cute dialogue.

3) Who’s your favorite character that you’ve written and why are they your fave? This is so mean. At the moment, Raph, because I can’t stop thinking about him and he’s so incredibly dangerous, yet on the low down (like the Mariana Trench level of low down) he has all these cute little quirks that only one or two people know about

4) One of your characters has been placed in the world/plot of a book you love. What happens? Rosalie becomes a Grisha in Leigh Bardugo’s world. She finds a sense of self-worth and gets to enjoy the little luxuries that come with the position.

5) One of your characters has been placed in the world/plot of a book you hate. What happens? X takes the place of Celeana Sardothien. He murders everyone in his path, tells the crown of Terrasen to get fucked because there’s no way he can run a whole government with any level of competance, probably murders Rowan with extreme prejudice, opens the Wyrd gates just to search the universe for Raph and bring him through so he can construct a decent government for Terrasen, would probably sleep with Dorian, would make it his new life goal to highfive Manon.

6) Your characters must fight each other to the death until only one stands victorious. Who wins? Raph. Koronis could conceivably stand a chance against him, but Raph would decimate pretty much anyone else. I think Raph would be able to stay above the fighting for longer, whereas Koronis would jump in just a touch earlier, which would be his downfall.

7) If you could steal a cover and a title from other books to use for your own WIP/s, which ones would you steal? Cover-wise I’d steal the minimalist Red Queen aesthetic, because that sleek shit is the bomb.  Title-wise? That’s harder. The Lies of Locke Lamora has some sick alliteration, but I think I’d rather steal the style of it rather than the exact title

8) If you switched places with one of your characters, what would happen to you and to them? I would die, pretty much everywhere. If Rosalie swapped with me, she would slowly come out of her shell and become a fashion designer -not an A-lister, she wouldn’t like how vicious and ruthlessly businesslike you have to be, but maybe making her own high-end clothes in a small shop in London

9) What makes your style unique compared to other writers? Thanks for the existential crisis, Eff.

1. Have you ever realized how similar an oc is to you and felt the need to change them so they aren’t so similar? I mean, Jade from Iron Flower almost shares a name with me, and she’s ginger, which did concern me for a while, but hopefully she’s nothing like me personality wise (or else I’d have to do some serious self-reflection)

2. Do any of your ocs like candles? I bet Rosalie loves pretty candles, especially patterned or strongly scented ones! Anything luxurious that she can’t afford, really

3. Do you normally write settings that are (or are based on) places you know intimately (ie your home town)? Oh god no. I like sweeping Chinese-inspired castles or creaking pirate ships or far flung space universities and man-made planets. I’m really not a contemporary writer though, so I guess this isn’t much of a surprise?

4. What is a book that feels similar to your own wip? Ahahaha, which WIP? Piracy Pays has similar vibes to @boothewriter‘s pirates and probably also @noodlewrites’ pirates (I’m guessing? I haven’t read any excerpts from you I’m sorry). Space Royalty is just weird. Iron Flower is probably similar to a lot of generic fantasy YA, like Red Queen and whatnot.

5. Do you have a dream cast for your ocs? I don’t really faceclaim? Or know much about a wide array of actors, so no, not really.

6. Are you good at story titles? Do they come easily to you? I am abysmal at story titles, holy shit. I mean, you can see the evidence scattered around this post. Piracy Pays and Space Royalty are just placeholder names, but I’m not convinced I’ll come up with anything good to replace them. Iron Flower is alright in that its relevant to the story and fits into the series title (The Flowers of War) but…idk, its not setting the stars alight or anything.

7. Do you ever change oc names once you’ve started a wip? Not often, though I am considering changing Ace’s name because I don’t think ‘Seb’ suits him. Only question, what to??

8. Which people have you let read your work? I mean, all of y’all have the opportunity to read Piracy Pays. No one has read Iron Flower, and I’m stretching myself by letting @rrrawrf-writes @lux-deorum@haphazardlyparked read Space Royalty in its raw first draft stage.

9. What usually catches your attention about a book first? Style? Characters? Plot? I’m quite an easy reader to catch and hold tbh. What makes me love a book is a clever plot. For me, a very strong plot can carry weak-ish characters, but I can never read super deep characters with no plot.

1. How many works in progress do you have? Properly, three. Iron Flower, which is written (143k) but needs editing, Piracy Pays which y’all are reading, and Space Royalty which crossed 30k about a week ago

2. Do you/would you write fanfiction I used to! I stopped in Y12/13 because I didn’t have enough time to do fic and original writing, and I haven’t really had the time to pick it back up.

3. Do you prefer paper books or ebooks? Either, I’m not fussed. Though if it has a really pretty cover, I’ll be hankering after a paper copy

5. Do you have someone you trust that you share your work with? Not all of my work, but yeah, I have a lovely server and also some irl friends that get the junk landed on them
