Many years later, a man named Nandu Mehra found a statue of Lord Balram while digging for ayurvedic medicines. He heard a divine voice instructing him to place the statue in a high place, which became the location of the Bhadraj Temple.’’

Situated on the Bhadraj Hill in Dehradun, this temple offers breathtaking views of the valley below. The trek to the temple, which can be completed in a day if started early in the morning, has a well-maintained cemented path and is best undertaken near post-winters. It's essential for visitors to maintain decorum and cleanliness, as this location is relatively unknown to many and must be preserved in its natural beauty. Please refrain from littering, disturbing the natural surroundings, or visiting solely for photography; instead, visit only if you have a sincere love for nature and a desire to offer prayers at the temple. This temple is accessible via an 11 km trek from Clouds End, passing through Dudhli village. The trail passes through Dudhli village (3 km) from where the temple is 8 km trek.

At the Bhadraj Temple, it is important to wear appropriate clothing. Ripped jeans or short clothes are not allowed. It's better to wear Indian formal clothes, as they are more respectful in this sacred place. It's advisable to return early in the evening from the Bhadraj Temple, as it can be risky at night. The area has dense forests, and there may not be enough light for a safe journey back.

Bonus: Every year, Bhadraj Temple organizes a fair from 15th to 17th of August, which attracts thousands of devotees who seek blessings from Lord Bhadraj.

कुछ वर्षों के बाद दुर्वासा के शॉप के कारण द्वारिका में अनहोनी घटनाऐं होने लगी। आपसी झगड़े होने लगे। एक-दूसरे को छोटी-सी बात पर मारने लगे। सारी द्वारिका मेंउपद्रव होने लगे। द्वारिका नगरी के बड़े-सयाने लोग मिलकर श्री कृष्ण जी के पास गए तथा

दुःख बताया कि नगरी में किसी को किसी का बोल अच्छा नहीं लग रहा है। बिना बात के मरने-मारने को तैयार हो जाते हैं। छोटे-बड़े की शर्म नहीं रही है। क्या कारण है तथा यह कैसे शान्त होगा? श्री कृष्ण जी ने बताया कि ऋषि दुर्वासा के शॉप के कारण यह हो रहा है। इसका समाधान सुनो! नगरी के सर्व नर (छोटे नवजात लड़के साहित) यादव प्रभास क्षेत्र में उसी स्थान पर यमुना नदी में स्नान करो जिस स्थान पर कड़ाही का चूर्ण डाला था। शॉप से बचने के लिए द्वारिका नगरी के सब बालक, नौजवान तथा वृद्ध स्नान करने गए। स्नान करके बाहर निकलकर एक-दूसरे से गाली-गलौच करने लगे और उस कड़ाही के चूरे से उत्पन्न घास को उखाड़कर एक-दूसरे को मारने लगे। तलवार की तरह घास से सिर कटकर दूर गिरने लगे। कुछ व्यक्ति बचे थे। अन्य सब के सब लड़कर मर गए। उन बचे हुओं को ज्योति निरंजन काल ने स्वयं श्री कृष्ण में प्रवेश करके उस घास से मार डाला। अकेला श्री कृष्ण बचा था। एक वृक्ष के नीचे जाकर लेट गया। एक पैर को दूसरे पैर के घुटने पर रखकर लेट गया। दांये पैर के तलुए (पँजे) में पदम जन्म से लगा था जो चमक रहा था। जिस बालिया नाम के भील शिकारी ने मछली से निकले कड़ाही के कड़े का विष लगाकर तीर बनवाया था। वह शिकारी उसी तीर को लेकर उस स्थान पर शिकार की तलाश में आया जिस वृक्ष के नीचे श्री कृष्ण लेटे थे। वृक्ष की छोटी-छोटी टहनियाँ चारों और नीचे पृथ्वी को छू रही थी। लटक रही थी। उन झुरमुटों में से श्री कृष्ण के पैर का पदम ऐसा लग रहा था जैसे किसी मृग की आँख चमक रही हो। शिकारी बालिया ने आव-देखा

न ताव, उस चमक पर तीर दे मारा��� तीर निशाने पर लगा। पैर के तलवे में विषाक्त तीर लगने से श्री कृष्ण की चीख निकली। बालिया समझ गया कि किसी व्यक्ति को तीर लगा है। निकट जाकर देखा तो कोई राजा है। पूछने पर पता चला कि श्री कृष्ण है। अपनी गलती की क्षमा याचना करने लगा कहा कि भगवान! धोखे से तीर लग गया। मैंने आपके पैर के पदम की चमक मृग की आँख जैसी लगी। क्षमा करो। श्री कृष्ण ने कहा कि बालिया तेरा कोई दोष नहीं है, होनी प्रबल होती है। मैंने तेरा बदला चुकाया है। त्रोतायुग में तू कसकंदा का राजा सुग्रीव का भाई बाली था। मैं अयोध्या में रामचन्द्र नाम से राजा दशरथ के घर जन्मा था। उस समय मैंने तेरे को वृक्ष की ओट लेकर धोखा करके लड़ाई में मारा था। अब तू मेरा एक काम कर। द्वारिका में जाकर बता दे कि सर्व यादव दुर्वासा के शॉपवश आपस में लड़कर मर गए हैं। कुछ समय उपरांत द्वारिका की स्त्रियों की भीड़ लग गई। हाहाकार मच गया। पाण्डव श्री कृष्ण के रिश्तेदार थे। वे भी आ गए। श्री कृष्ण ने अर्जुन से कहा कि आप सर्व गोपियों यानि यादवों की स्त्रियों को अपने पास ले जाना। यहाँ कोई नर यादव नहीं बचा है। आसपास के भील इनकी इज्जत खराब करेंगे। पाण्डवों से कहा कि तुम राज्य अपने पौत्र को देकर हिमालय में जाकर घोर तप करो और अपने युद्ध में किए पापों का नाश करो। अर्जुन ने पूछा भगवान! एक प्रश्न आज मैं आपसे करूँगा। आप सत्य उत्तर देना। आप अंतिम श्वांस गिन रहे हो, झूठ मत बोलना। श्री कृष्ण ने कहा कि प्रश्न कर। अर्जुन बोला! आपने गीता का ज्ञान कुरूक्षेत्र के मैदान में महाभारत युद्ध से पहले सुनाया था। उसमें कहा था कि अर्जुन! युद्ध कर ले। तुम्हें कोई पाप नहीं लगेंगे। तू निमित मात्र बन जा। सब सैनिक मैंने मार रखे हैं। तू युद्ध नहीं करेगा तो भी मैं इन्हें मार दूँगा। जब युद्धिष्ठिर को भयंकर स्वपन आने लगे। आपसे कारण जाना तो आपने बताया था कि युद्ध में किए बंधुघात के पाप के परिणाम स्वरूप कष्ट आया। समाधान यज्ञ करना बताया। उस समय मैं आपसे विवाद नहीं कर सका क्योंकि भाई की जिंदगी का सवाल था। आज फिर आपने वही जख्म हरा कर दिया। इतनी झूठ बोलकर हमारा नाश किसलिए करवाया? कौन-से जन्म का बदला लिया? श्री कृष्ण ने कहा अर्जुन! तुम मेरे अजीज हो! होनहार

बलवान होती है। गीता में क्या कहा, उसका मुझे कोई ज्ञान नहीं। आप मेरी आज्ञा का पालन करो। यह कहकर श्री कृष्ण मर गए। पाँचों पाण्डवों व साथ गए नौकरों ने मिलकर सब यादवों का अंतिम संस्कार किया। कुछ के शव दरिया में प्रवाह कर दिए। श्री कृष्ण ने कहा था कि मेरे शरीर को जलाकर बची हुई अस्थियाँ व राख को एक लकड़ी के संदूक (ठवग) में डालकर दरिया में बहा देना। पाण्डवों ने वैसा ही किया। {वह संदूक समुद्र में चला गया।

फिर उड़ीसा प्रांत के अंदर जगन्नाथ पुरी के पास बहता हुआ चला गया। उड़ीसा के राजा इन्द्रदमन को स्वपन में श्री कृष्ण ने दर्शन देकर कहा कि एक संदूक समुद्र में इस स्थान पर है। उसमें मेरे शरीर की अस्थियाँ तथा राख हैं। उसको निकाल कर उसी किनारे पर उन अस्थियों (हडिड्यों) को जमीन में दबाकर ऊपर एक सुंदर मंदिर बनवा दे। ऐसा किया गया। जो जगन्नाथ नाम से मंदिर प्रसिद्ध है।}

◆ चार पाण्डव पहले चले गए। अर्जुन को गोपियों को लेकर आने को छोड़ गए। अर्जुन के पास वही गांडीव धनुष था जिससे लड़ाई करके महाभारत में जीत प्राप्त की थी। अर्जुन द्वारिका की सर्व स्त्रियों को बैलगाडि़यों में बैठाकर इन्द्रप्रस्थ (दिल्ली) के लिए चल पड़ा।रास्ते में भीलों ने अर्जुन को घेर लिया। अर्जुन को पीटा। गोपियों को लूटा। कुछ स्त्रियों को भील उठा ले गए। अर्जुन कुछ नहीं कर सका। धनुष उठा भी नहीं सका। तब अर्जुन ने कहा

था कि कृष्ण नाश करना था। युद्ध में पाप करवाने के लिए तो बल दे दिया। लाखों योद्धा इसी गांडीव धनुष से मार गिराए। कोई मेरे सामने टिकने वाला नहीं था। आज वही अर्जुन है, वही धनुष है। मैं खड़ा-खड़ा काँप रहा हूँ। कृष्ण जालिम था। धोखेबाज था। कबीर परमेश्वर जी हमें समझाते हैं कि यह जुल्म कृष्ण ने नहीं किया, ज्योति निरंजन (काल ब्रह्म) ने किया है। श्री कृष्ण का जीवन देख लो। श्री कृष्ण अपने कुल को मथुरा से लेकर जान

बचाकर द्वारिका आया। द्वारिका में उनकी आँखों के सामने सब यादव कुल नष्ट हो गया। श्री कृष्ण का बेटा मर गया। पोता मर गया। सर्व कुल नष्ट हो गया। स्वयं बेमौत मरा। उसके कुल की स्त्रियों की दुर्गति भीलों ने की। जबरदस्ती उठा ले गए। उनकी इज्जत

खराब की। नरक का जीवन जीने के लिए मजबूर हुई। उसी श्री कृष्ण की पूजा करके जो सुख-शान्ति की आशा करता है। उसमें कितनी बुद्धि है, इस घटना से पता चलता है।

भ्रातृ द्वितीया (भाई दूज) कार्तिक मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की द्वितीया तिथि को मनाया जाने वाला हिन्दू धर्म का पर्व है जिसे यम द्वितीया भी कहते हैं। यह दीपावली के दो दिन बाद आने वाला ऐसा पर्व है, जो भाई के प्रति बहन के स्नेह को अभिव्यक्त करता है एवं बहनें अपने भाई की खुशहाली के लिए कामना करती हैं।

#कार्तिक शुक्ल द्वितीया को पूर्व काल में #यमुना ने यमराज को अपने घर पर सत्कारपूर्वक भोजन कराया था। उस दिन नारकी जीवों को यातना से छुटकारा मिला और उन्हें तृप्त किया गया। वे पाप-मुक्त होकर सब बंधनों से छुटकारा पा गये और सब के सब यहां अपनी इच्छा के अनुसार सन्तोषपूर्वक रहे। उन सब ने मिलकर एक महान् उत्सव मनाया जो यमलोक के राज्य को सुख पहुँचाने वाला था। इसीलिए यह तिथि तीनों लोकों में यम द्वितीया के नाम से विख्यात हुई।

जिस तिथि को यमुना ने यम को अपने घर भोजन कराया था, उस तिथि के दिन जो भाई अपनी बहन के हाथ का उत्तम भोजन करता है उसे उत्तम भोजन समेत धन की प्राप्ति भी होती हैं।
