Apollo's Protection

After Rome falls (finally), Apollo thought that women with deep sea, dark curls and sea colored eyes would finally be safe from a fate as a substitute for Loyalty.

Except Camp Jupiter, the Roman atrocity that rose to replace Perseleia's Camp, continues. And women with black hair and green eyes still remain a mark of status.

He can do little to protect these women from mortals- but he can cast a curse, as a God, as one whose sacred animal is wolves, that no Roman who survives Lupa will recognise these traits outside of their Camp.

For demigods, such as the daughters of Venus and minor God's who have the misfortune to bear these traits- he gives them his protection. A simple object, charmed to protect them from any association being made from their appearance to Nerio's.

He can do nothing for any child born within Camp Jupiter's borders, not if the parents won't protect their child, but he'll do all he can to protect the Demigods and mortal around Camp Jupiter.

I feel like there are a lot of options for powers that Jason Grace could've had, and that these opportunities could've been golden if done right

Powers of Justice, Hospitality, Order, and Kingship. One thing that many people forget is that Jupiter/Zeus is also the God of Justice and Hospitality. Jupiter was known to have the final say on everything. It would have been interesting if Jason had powers like his father, where he was able to punish all those who had broken the laws of hospitality. committed some injustice, or ruined the natural order of things in a community. Like, sentence them to Tartarus or something cool like that. Judge and decide on what afterlife a person or monster was going to receive by having some scales of divine judgement. Be able to see all their life choices, and let the facts speak for themself as the scales shifted

2. Powers of the Constellations and Stars I sincerely think that Jason should've gained some abilities from Krios after he defeated him. Like, inherited part of his domain in some way. Powers like: tracking using the constellations to tell where he is, starlight manipulation that he can use to give his enemies, some bright bursts of light as a distraction, getting a better connection to the thermosphere and exosphere winds, being able to predict when the next eclipses and other spacely events would occur, Astrokiness in general, and being able to look at Earth from the perspective of the constellation Aries, and call upon help from it (The Ram). His eyes would also change to match the color of the sky overhead and outer space whenever he used these powers

3. Powers given to him by Lupa There is no way toddler Jason could've actually survived the Wolf House without dying at the Age of 2, without some help from Lupa. I think maybe Lupa blessed him with a stronger immune system, the ability to eat raw meat, and gave him fangs or other wolf accessories, like claws and pointy ears. Lupa is also known more for her abilities to shape others, rather than divine powers like all the other gods. Therefore, I think Jason learned that supporting nature and encouraging behavior after being with Lupa for so long. Lupa is also more connected as a goddess in the wilderness and wild, so maybe Jason had some sort of connection to the woods, and being able to have wolf-like hunting, stalking, body language reading, and increased endurance, stamina, strength, and speed from all his time spent in the wild and with the wolves. If you've ever watched the movie "Wolfwalkers," I'm picturing something like that.

4. Blessings by Hera/Juno as her Champion Juno is known as a protector of warriors. I think Jason may have had some of that mindset rub off on him, paired with the fact that he was raised by wolves, and they are known to be territorial, and that's why he's so protective of his friends and family. Hera/Juno is also known as the goddess of marriage and patron of women. Another perk, maybe he could tell if a woman was being abused or a marriage wasn't working out. (Tying back to the Justice and Order thing)

All in all, I think there are so many powers that Jason could've had in his arsenal than just storms, lightning, thunder, flying, electricity, and wind manipulation (Not that I don't think those aren't OP powers)

I think Rick should've spent more time expanding on both the Grace Siblings. Thalia should've gotten to get over her fear of heights and gained the ability to fly or some sort of power based around Justice, and maybe we should've seen some of the perks she had as being the Lieutenant of Artemis. They both should've gotten a Big Three Kid moment where they sucked the wind out of someone's blood and lungs or mind controlled them using the nerves in the human body, or simply just instantly killing people because of their ability to manipulate electricity.

We could've also gotten something cool like a Mind-Link between Jason and Thalia after they were reunited. They are the first siblings in history that are both born of the same mother, but one born Greek, and the other born Roman. They could've had some sort of mind-link that formed once the two camps made peace with each other and started co-existing in harmony, symbolizing the bridge between the two pantheons.

I think Thalia and Jason should've had moments where they sent out very clear messages proving that they were the Son and Daughter of the King of the Gods. And showing why one was the Lieutenant of the Goddess Artemis and the other the Champion of the Queen of the Heavens. Just like how it was made VERY clear in Blood of Zeus why Zeus and Hera were the King and Queen.

୨୧ jason grace x demeter reader ୨୧ being a demigod of demeter autumn is a sad reminder that winter was coming, seeing that your sad jason decides to surprise you in hopes of cheering you up. a/n: (0.9k words, not proofread) the 'trend explanation': tiktok trend where two people paint something then swap and add something of their own to the other persons painting then again and again however many times they want.

It wasn't that you were hiding away in your cabin, it was just, well yeah okay that was exactly what you were doing. But the horror of being outside while everything was dying was too much for you.

So what if you're being a little dramatic about the turn of the next season but the trees are very vocal in their hymns of how they desired it to be spring again.

They are literally sacrificing their leaves in protest! So you would too, not standing outside naked (that'd be mortifying) you settled with staying tucked inside your cabin safe and sound.

You'd persuaded your siblings to bring you back food after meal time so you would have to face the cold breeze.

All was going great, you'd perfected the art of bed-rotting and you'd read so many books, you didn't even know where in the cabin. Vaguely estimating the time it would take for your siblings to return from lunch so you too could enjoy a warm meal you were distraught by a knock at the door.

With all your siblings busy eating lunch you unwillingly got out of bed and toward the door. Opening with caution there stood none other than Jason Grace holding a multicolored checkered blanket.

"Jason? What're you doing here?" Your furrowed your eyebrows in confusion, for all you knew he was supposed to be in Camp Jupiter helping the design of new temples.

"A certain someone told me you were withering away in your room" For all your might you couldn't help but smile at him, no matter how mad you wanted to be with his little chuckle and that stupid adorable grin on him.

"Leo, that traitor. I told him not to tell you!" You resisted the urge to stop your foot in a ridiculous mood.

His grin dimmed slightly, "Why? You know I would've come?"

"Exactly! You've been planning those temples for ages!"

"So?" You could practically see the flopped ear on his head in confusion, he really spent to much time with Lupa. Laughter slipped from your mouth without resistance to which he smiled once again at.

"Okay, okay yeah laugh at my confusion" He chuckled before continuing

"C'mon I want to show you something." He turned slightly waiting for you to follow him down the porch stairs.

You pursed your lips to a line, looking around from inside the doorway.

"I don't know Jay, can't we just stay inside?"

He walked back towards you slightly and even before he spoke you knew he'd gotten you.

With those pretty blue eyes shining up at you, slightly begging. He was insufferable but fuck was he cute.

"You don't want to see my surprise?" He feigned sadness, you audible groaned.

"Fine, fine but away the puppy eyes Grace"

He'd never admit but he giggled a 'uh oh' before he reached for your hand.

"I'm in the last name book huh" He squeezed your hand as he lead you both away from the cabins

"Mhm" You nodded as you leaned into him, secretly glad he was back so soon.

After walking through the forest near the edge of the camp border in seemingly no particular order to you but Jason assured he knew where he was going.

When eventually you both stopped in front of a small clearing surrounded by cold trees, autumn leaves fallen on the grass.

In the center of said clearing was a white plastic box stained with various different colors one the your sure came from cabin seven.

Jason jogged in front of you and laid out the blanket he'd been carrying down next the items.

"What's all this? Did you make lunch again?" Although you teased you couldn't help but quickly find your place on the scratchy blanket sitting next to him.

It remined you of your first date together. In the summer heat at the beach, bless the gorgeous boy he'd tried to make lunch for you both. It ended up uneatable but the thought counted.

"Gods no I've learnt my lesson" He laughed which made his eyes crinkle at the edges.

"Piper told me about this thing that mortal couples were doing and I thought we could too" As he spoke he began to pull out different paints and brushes from inside the container.

After emptying all of the box carefully in front of you both, you took in the materials to guess what he was talking about.

Paints, brushes, two canvases, two cups and a water bottle. You briefly remember your friend from the iris cabin talk about this.

"Jay, we'll be here all day! you know that right? we're gonna make the best paintings" You didn't even wait for his answer, your excitement buzzing off you.

You grab the paintbrushes to inspect the best one with one hand and picking up one of the canvases.

"Good thing I wouldn't want to be anywhere else then huh" He took the paintbrushes off you once you'd picked and he randomly chose his own.

By the time you two had finished, the sun had already started to set. Which made for a perfect view to finish the date off.

Both of you knew you'd have to get back for dinner soon however staring at the melting colors in the sky was worth having to sneak around a few harpies later.

Besides your painting of a beautiful landscape mountain range with a lopsided purple dragon and his painting of a disproportionate castle with a pretty blossom tree needed more time to dry.

Jason Grace was trained from the moment he was left in the care of Lupa the Wolf to be a perfect Roman gentlemen.

Something that he still upheld, even months into dating you.

Your hand was tucked into his as the two of you strolled through New Rome, no destination in mind and a whole summer afternoon to waste with each other.

"And then I was thinking that maybe later we could—" You stopped your rambling, spotting the look on your boyfriend's face. Like he was listening, but not entirely, a dazed expression in his eyes and a smile on his lips. "Jase?"

"Oh! Uh, yeah, whatever you want." He nodded, cheeks flushing at whatever he had been distracted by. Frowning in confusion, you stopped in the middle of the sidewalk, but Jason still refused to look at you.

With the hand that wasn't holding his, you reached up to grab his chin, gently angling his face so that he was forced to look at you.

"You're blushing, Grace." Your frown melted into a teasing grin, which only made his cheeks darken to a deeper shade of red. "What's got you so hot and bothered?"

Maybe it wasn't fair of you to enjoy the color rising up his neck as much as you did, but you couldn't help it in the slightest.

Jason mumbled something incoherent, and you shot him a pointed look, asking without words for him to clarify.

"Your dress," He said, blue eyes avoiding yours even as your grin turned into a smirk. "I like it. It makes you look really nice. Not that you don't always look nice!"

Of course, you had heard about how sundresses were like kryptonite to guys. You would be lying if you said your current outfit wasn't created with that knowledge in mind, but never had you expected how flustered Jason would get at seeing you in a sundress.

"You're cute when you blush." You grinned, tugging his chin down towards your face for an easy kiss that he quickly obliged you. When you attempted to pull back, he chased after your lips for another peck before standing tall, cheeks still rosy. "I think I'm going to have to get more sundresses."

"Yes, please."

An hour later, Bianca comes back to Wednesday covered in sparkles, crazy glue, and miscellaneous bits of colored paper stuck to her uniform. There's glitter caught in her eyelashes, and she's pretty sure Enid bedazzled her Amulet.

Finally, Rooster spoke into the silence, voice gravely and as emotionless as always, like it was nothing more than facts and politics they were discussing rather than their private lives, which Jake no longer had control over. “It would help if I marked you.”

“Of course it would,” Jake grumbled. Stupid wolves and their stupid possessive, power play bullshit. There was a reason he’d never let a wolf mark him before, but it was just another thing he’d have to give up. Still, it was the easiest thing he could hand over to get Cain and his minions off their damn backs. It’s not like it mattered; everyone would assume anyway. “Whatever, go fucking wild.”

A second passed, and then that heat pressed against him tighter once again. Rooster placed a hand on his upper arm- to keep him still or situate him how he wanted, he wasn’t sure- and nosed at the skin above where his neck met his shoulder. 

A stab of heat ran through his body, and Jake fought the urge to shift. He cursed at himself. Having a stupidly attractive, annoying, thick-headed alpha nosing at the spot a mating bite would go shouldn’t phase him. It was Rooster, for Christ's sake.

He grumbled to himself as he swatted another branch out of the way, continuing his march deeper into the forest. If Rooster wanted to find him, he’d make him work for it. The thought of the irritated little scowl on his face when he had to waste his time on this, an activity he probably deemed superfluous when Jake was technically already his, made the day incrementally better. 

Strange markings of a distorted triangle lined a nearby tree. At the base, a bright blue flower caught his eye. The color was so vivid it was almost glowing. Brow furrowed, he crouched and ran a finger over a petal. He thought he knew every plant, flower, and animal possible in Lupa, all their uses and attributes, but he’d never seen one like that. 

A bird flapped from the tree. In the distance, he heard the faint snap of twigs getting closer. Shit. Rooster. He’d gotten distracted. He glanced down at the flower one last time, but in his hand was nothing more than a purple wendling. 

He stood and took a quick step away. It was…it hadn’t been a wendling, he was sure of it. He looked at the tree and found the markings gone, the bark nothing but normal, moss-covered brown.

“I’ll admit,” a familiar voice rumbled, surprising him. He cursed himself for being caught off guard. He was usually more aware than that. “I thought you wouldn’t get bored for at least another mile or so.”

Jake turned. Rooster leaned against a nearby tree, arms crossed, looking entirely too amused.

her lore is based on my very first play through. she search for trouble as trouble = where people are = people to question = maybe an idea what she needs to do. But you know what happens in game when you stay to look at the fight.

atenção: siga atentamente os passos!

1° – baixe o pack da magnífica yiza; é nele que vamos encontrar o action e darmos o efeito 3d no icon (e nesse pack ainda tem colorings maravilhosos);

2° – entre no site photopea.com no seu navegador;

3° – assim como na imagem, deslize da direita para a esquerda na parte cinza claro, onde está opções como: arquivo, editar, imagem, etc;

4° – ache a opção "janela" e clique UMA VEZ nela e aguarde abrir as opções dela. irá aparecer diversas opções, mas clique na "ações" para ativar;

5° – depois disso a opção de adicionar ações já vai estar habilitada, então feche a aba "janela" e clique em "abrir do computador", e selecione o action que baixou (ATENÇÃO: SE NÃO ACHAR O ACTION, VÁ ATÉ A LUPA DE PESQUISA E PESQUISE POR "ATN", ASSIM ELE VAI APARECER)

6° – vai aparecer um aviso mostrando que foi instalado um action no seu photopea, e pronto, o action temos; agora vamos ver como colocar ele no icon:

7° – aperte em "abrir do computador" e selecione a foto que vai usar;

8° – com a foto aberta já, vá até o quadradinho ali que deixei em destaque, e aperte 1 vez nele;

9° – aperte no retângulo que está destacado;

10° – selecione a opção "tamanho fixo";

11° – mude de 100×100 para 120×120;

12° – corte do jeito que preferir a foto, e depois arraste da direita para a esquerda a parte cinza claro;

13° – no final vai ter um ❌ e um ✔, aperte no ✔;

15° – vá até a opção "filtro" e aperte uma vez nela, aguarde abrir e depois selecione a opção "aguçar"

16° – clique em "nitidez maior";

17° – pronto, nosso icon está com qualidade e nitidez, agora aperte nesse símbolo de play que está em destaque;

18° – selecione a pasta da coloursource e depois aperte na flecha que está destacada em azul;

19° – aperte na opção "glitch effect 1" e depois no play que destaquei em verde;

20° – vá até a opção onde tem três retângulos, e aperte lá para mostrar as camadas do nosso icon, e depois aperte DUAS VEZES RAPIDAMENTE na camada "layer 1";

21° – vai aparecer essa janela, e preste bastante atenção nessa parte destacada, é somente nela que vamos mexer!

22° – deixe selecionado apenas a primeira opção, e depois clique em "aceitar"

e prontinho, seu icon já está com nitidez e efeito 3d, agora é só aplicar seu psd de preferência!
