LUKE: “How old are you?” SYLUS: “28.” KIERAN: [Stares.] LUKE: [Long pause.] KIERAN: “That’s not your real age.” SYLUS: “Prove it.” LUKE: “We tried. You wiped the birth records.” SYLUS: “Exactly.”

LUKE: “What do you want for your birthday?” SYLUS: “Peace and quiet.” KIERAN: “Denied. You’re getting intrusive affection and a plushie shaped like a knife.” SYLUS: “I’ll accept the knife.”

KIERAN: “Question five: Do you think you're loveable?” SYLUS: “No.” KIERAN: “Wrong. You lose. Try again.” SYLUS: [Long pause] “…Pass.” LUKE: [Gasps] “That's not how birthdays OR interviews work.”

KIERAN: “Have you cried this year?” SYLUS: “No.” LUKE: “Not even when we drew a family portrait and put it in your locker?” SYLUS: “…You broke into my locker?” KIERAN: “Avoiding the question, Boss.”

KIERAN: “Question seven: Do you like us?” SYLUS: “No.” LUKE: “Lies. You smirked yesterday when we tackled you into that beanbag chair.” SYLUS: “I was aiming for the dagger behind it.” KIERAN: “Aww, he planned a murder and a cuddle.”

KIERAN: “What kind of poetry do you like?” SYLUS: [Freezes. Looks away.] LUKE: [Flipping through his book pile] “Is this Byron? Did you annotate a Keats line?” SYLUS: “It was a footnote.” KIERAN: “He’s in his Romantic era. Tragic, brooding, full of yearning.” LUKE: “You’re a walking iambic pentameter, Boss.”

KIERAN: “Question 12: Would you like to read a Thirst Tweet?” SYLUS: “No.” LUKE: “‘Sylus could say “move” in that voice and I’d throw myself off a building like it was a command from the Gods.’" SYLUS: “…That’s not even the worst one I’ve seen.” KIERAN: “There’s worse?” SYLUS: [Flatly] “There’s fanfiction involving Mephisto and scented oils.”

[LONG SILENCE.] LUKE: “We need a part two of this interview immediately.”

KIERAN: “Are you going to fire us after this?” SYLUS: “I’ve tried. You keep showing up.” LUKE: “So that’s a no.”

LUKE: “ If we left you alone for your birthday next year… what would you actually do?” SYLUS: [Quiet] “Probably wonder where you went.” [SILENCE.] KIERAN: “…We got him. We emotioned the Boss.” SYLUS: “Redacted.”

KIERAN: “Last question. Just one word.” LUKE: “Do you feel loved?” [LONG SILENCE. THE CAMERA ZOOMS.] SYLUS: “…Yes.” KIERAN & LUKE: [Airhorns and confetti cannons explode.] SYLUS: “I take it back.” LUKE: “Too late. It’s in the transcript.”

KIERAN: “Bonus Question: Do you want a hug?” SYLUS: “No.” [CUT TO: SYLUS, IN A HEADLOCK HUG.] LUKE: “Shhh… let the affection happen.”

Things that help you to grow into a life that is pleasing to God.

PERCY JACKSON HEADCANONS PART 7 💙💙

1. He is EXTREMELY triggered by the sound of a woman or a child crying (like REALLY triggered)

2. He can’t not finish his food. If there is any food left on his or anybody else’s plate he HAS to eat it. Even if he is already full and feels like one more bite is gonna make him throw up, he has to finish his food. He got that from not having a lot of food growing up that now he feels like he’s wasting food if he doesn’t eat all of it.

3. He HATES doors slamming. It makes him feel like g*be is gonna come from the other room throwing beer bottles at him.

4. He will automatically start crying if any female figure of authority acts like they’re disappointed in him

5. HE IS SUCH A BIG INTROVERT

6. He has a terrible rbf so everybody in his classes and at camp always think he’s super mean until they talk to him and realize he is literally one of the nicest people ever (friendly reminder that he’s not exactly perceived as sassy. To everyone else he’s just the quiet kid who side eyes everyone.)

7. Sometimes his brain goes too fast for his mouth and he starts to stutter. It happened more when he was younger, but sometimes when he’s super nervous or excited it comes out and he hates it. (g*be used to make fun of it. Thalia started joking about it once and Percy got up and left the room (He was about to start crying.))

8. He’s extremely photogenic but hates people taking photos of him

9. He’s told Annabeth before “what if i’m actually a really terrible person and i’ve just manipulated everyone into liking me?”

10. He has a CRAZY high spice tolerance

11. He has fainting spells sometime

12. He can get really insecure about everything about himself. Anything from his body, his looks, his personality, his voice, anything. Annabeth always notices it and always makes sure to reassure him and give him extra love.

13. He is the WORST at taking compliments. e.g. “percy, you looks so pretty!” “yeah, pretty depressed.” or “percy! your eyes are so pretty!” “uh, sure. thanks?” or “percy, you’re actually really smart sometimes!” “i’m not but okay?”

14. He HATES ricotta but loves mozzarella

15. He has a really bad but really good immune system at the same time (he constantly feels sick, but he never rlly gets SICK sick.)

16. He wanted to be a firefighter as a kid

17. He agrees with Luke a LOT MORE than he wants to admit (he brought it up to Nico once (kind of as a joke) but Nico freaked out a bit. Percy knew better than to even mention a little bit of that feeling to Annabeth.)

18. ice cream = safety food (especially butter pecan (he eats it in a mug)) He also LOVES waffles.

19. He CANNOT explain his feelings for the life of him. Annabeth once convinced him to be honest with her about his feeling and he got halfway through a sentence then gave up, shut down, and drowned his sorrows in coffee and ice cream.

22. He’ll go on rants sometimes and a lot of the time the people he’s talking to just stop listening. He’ll notice and stop talking. (If Grover or Annabeth are there, they’ll listen.)

23. When he’s giving someone a high five, his hand actually never goes high. He always puts his hand at like waist level with his palm up and stuff.

24. He secretly hopes that sooner or later (hopefully sooner) he will go on a quest and never come back

25. He says sorry A LOT (for things that usually aren’t his fault and he can’t control)

26. Hes really superstitious

27. He gets annoyed super easily when it’s hot (heat rage is REAL yall)

28. HATES the quiet because it gives him too much time to think so he constantly has some sort of show or music playing in the background so it drowns out his thoughts

30. He has gotten flirted with by 65 yo women (read pedophiles) a LOT

36. People will sometimes make jokes about how he must have orthorexia (an eating disorder) because he’s so in shape. It makes him really uncomfortable but he’ll never say anything about it.

37. He won’t eat until everyone else has grabbed what they want because he was so used to growing up with such little food and he always made sure his mom ate before him because he wanted to make sure she got enough

38. He cannot eat in front of someone unless someone is also eating

39. He cannot STAND the sound of his own footsteps because it makes him anxious and triggers his fight or flight response. He feels like someone’s gonna yell at him js for walking (and that’s on trauma 😘)

40. He either responds in 0.5 seconds, or will respond within 3-5 business days (depends on his mood.)

AUTHOR'S NOTE: This took me almost a year to write and four months to edit/proof. Each chapter is prefaced with specific tags and (where necessary) warnings, plus word counts. End notes contain translations and comments… this baby is thoroughly researched, so I’m sharing context where appropriate. I’ve also added definitions of in-universe terms so people less familiar with the franchise won’t be left wondering what the hell certain words or references mean. This is a slow burn (adult themes), and although the explicit content only occurs in the latter half, when it does, it warrants the ‘E’ rating. “You want…me to bake Christmas cookies with you?” Blonde hair shifts as the Avatar of Wrath tilts his head to the side in confusion, just like a puppy, ironically. “Why not ask Beel, or Barbatos, or Luke, or Simeon?” His words aren’t meant to be harsh or negative in any way. He’s genuinely wondering why he was chosen for this particular activity. Out of everyone, he’s not some baker or chef or foodie the way those other four are. So…why?

The human standing in front of him just shakes their head with a chuckle. “Because it’s one of my favorite Christmas activities and I wanted to share that with you. I figured it could be a chance for you to try something new and a chance for me to share a piece of myself with you.”

His eyes widen slightly before he smiles, his cheeks turning pink. “Heh. Well, when you put it that way, there’s no way that I can say no, now is there?”

MC beams at him in reply, embracing him tightly. “Good! I already have all the stuff we need gathered, so we just have to start putting it all together now!” And with that, the demon is dragged into the nearby kitchen, where many ingredients are already out and waiting to be put to use, just like they said.

Satan looked at everything before turning to the other. “Are these all from the human world?” He questions curiously.

They nod at him. “Yep! I wanted to make some traditional holiday cookies from the human world, if that was okay?”

The blonde demon reaches over and brushes the back of his hand down the side of their face. “I’d love to. Please, teach me.” He gestures to everything in front of them. “I’ll hang on to every word you speak.”

It was MC’s turn to blush now, shaking their head at him. “Well, we better get to it, then.”

A few hours later, they had multiple dozens of both sugar cookies and gingerbread cookies, either cooling on racks or being actively decorated by both of them. Or, mostly just one of them, considering Satan couldn’t keep his eyes off of the human dancing around the kitchen and using a bag of icing as a microphone as they sang along to the human world Christmas carols filling the room.

They seemed so…free. And he found it absolutely mesmerizing. Do they really not know how enchanting they are? Who can focus on anything else when they’re here looking like that?

Satan thought he had been doing pretty well at attempting to focus on the task at hand, actually getting quite a few cookies done himself, but it seems his thoughts have caught up to him, as now he’s been caught red-handed, MC’s eyes locking with his as they turn back to their decorating station, a pretty blush lighting up their cheeks, which in turn causes the same reaction on his face. Well, too late to hide it now, he supposes.

Before he even realizes his feet are moving, he’s rounding the corner of the island and walking up to them, cradling their face and pulling them into a loving kiss. MC returns his kiss immediately, wrapping their arms around his neck. Satan sighs happily into the kiss, wrapping both arms around them and pulling them close. It’s MC who chooses to deepen the kiss and he’s all happy to oblige, feeling a sudden need to have them as close to him as possible. To feel all of them against him. And because of this rising need within him, all it takes is a playful nip to his bottom lip and he’s lost. He gathers his human up in his arms, their legs wrapping around him automatically, and quickly carries them out of the kitchen, heading straight for his room, the cookies long forgotten. No one will see either of them until the next day.
