I think it's fun that the shells are shaped like little bowls, but I feel like high structured pastas like this are just no good for soups.

I would have rated this higher because I do love the shape, very good for slurpability, but Google says this is a picture of cambells chicken noodle, which tastes yummy, but there's no way those noodles aren't super mushy. If this was a homemade version with the same type of noodles it would be up to at least 8/10

These fucking corkscrew pastas are for thick pasta sauces, not a thin broth!!!! The potential of these noodles has been utterly fucking squandered by hubris. These pastas deserve to be in a creamy, thick Alfredo sauce. Once again points lost for highly structured pastas.

Thick noodles like this almost always taste divinely eggy, the ideal egg noodle. It brings its own flavor to the soup rather than simply absorbing the flavors of the brother. Almost my perfect noodle, but these ones look particularly long, which I'm not a fan of both thick and long noodles.

Jail. Jail for soup crimes. I fucking hate these corkscrew noodles that seem to be the 5th horseman of the apocalypse- a harbinger of poorly conceived soups. Far too structured of a pasta for soup, and the rest of this soup is also clearly a mess. Dry looking chicken, not enough broth, huge ass undercooked CHUNKS of veggies. Makes me fucking sick.

This is it, my faveorate kind of noodle for chicken noodle soup. I don't even know how to elaborate. It gets bonus points if the noodles are freshly made, or have a particularly delicious eggy flavor.

Long noodles like these aren't what I normally associate with a traditional bowl of chicken noodle soup, but that's because I am absolutely looking at these from an American perspective. That being said, long noodles are Devine, espically with genuine ramen noodles, which are delicious every single fucking time

Yeah this technically isn't a chicken noodle soup, but I do love a good dumpling chicken soup like this. Extra points if the dumplings are actually matzo balls, there's nothing that compares to the flavor of a good matzo ball.
