Sometimes I'm doing well, and then other times Lucifer's level 30 intimacy phone call in Nightbringer suddenly comes back to mind, and I am once again reminded how Lucifer is so utterly desperate to connect with Satan in any way. It doesn't even have to be meaningful; just having his brother despise him a tiny bit less than before would already be more than enough

And when they finally do make the tiniest, most insignficant amount of progress imaginable, Lucifer is so overjoyed about it that he ends up celebrating with a horn of Demonus......or two, maybe three... I'm visiting for a Birthday, and staying in the guest room, the cat joined me in bed.

At first I cuddled with him, I am legally obligated to. when I got tired he purred really loudly, no problem, I can just read something. Then he spent ten minutes licking/ cleaning himself, also really loud. Finally he fell asleep and it was quiet, good now I can go to sleep.

Well guess fucking what. HE SNORES, and don't think for a second he is quiet.

Plus! He takes up more than half the bed! I got like less than a fourth for myself. And it's a big ass bed!!!

How the fuck do you guys get any sleep!?!?!

Me shaking people on other platforms: Eris wants to have connections! To be loved! That's why she hates the fact that she's Strife Incarnate, cause it has and continues to impede her ability to make connections. She carried a bell around on her on the off chance "that [she] find[s] a friend." She wouldn't do that if this wasn't something that wasn't on her mind!

It bothers her that Melinoe kept getting her nectar but she didn't have anything to reciprocate. It wasn't just the flipping of the game conventions here (though she acknowledges it and likes the idea of swapping bottles back and forth) - on nectar three she was already promising to get Melinoe something in return for the nectar. Melinoe was of course, nervous cause the way Strife worded it sounded like a Threat. But even with her intonation you can hear she's being genuine about it and she does later pull through with her own nectar, Which she was nervous about giving at first cause she was worried it would be taken the wrong way by Mel, but became more pleased when not only did Mel take it the right way, joked about it in a way that Eris herself loved.

Eris is not an easy person to get to know. Requires a lot of effort on one's own part to do it (stares at Mel). Part of it is her nature of Strife and part of it is doubling down after being unable to escape people's expectations. She also enjoys annoying the Shit out of people (likely cause of those two aforementioned reasons). But that doesn't necessarily exclude her from having other motivations or desires (something something those thug guys having dreams despite being thugs from the Saloon in Tangled [2010]).

this is an absolutely insane thing to say for multiple reasons but the most glaring are a.) using the phrase “sausage fest” is an incredibly loaded and weird term to use when 3 out of 4 rtd2 episodes so far have included trans women and b.) the implication that chris chibnall (a man) did not write his stories from a quote-unquote “male perspective”. sorry but casting a cis white woman as the doctor does not absolve you of all misogyny and racism.
