Nothing makes me want to go on a full-blown punk rampage more than the explicit violation of privacy that has become the status quo nowadays. This added with the fact that the general population (myself included) is technologically illiterate just makes this problem worse. People struggle to strike back effectively because the knowledge that gives us the power to do so is hard to acquire.

Misinformation, hidden features, ai, convoluted terms of service; all of has just become the norm!!!! Mostly due to the modern addition to convenience. No. Thank you.

The only way to make a change is to put in the hard work of educating yourself. Learn how technology works. Be aware of everything you agree to. Ignore the lure of frivolous convenience. Take measures to protect your privacy. It may be a slow process. Maybe you just start by switching which browser you use. This is good, this is an excellent start!!! The important part is that you care and you genuinely want to make a difference. You don't have to become a tech genius overnight, you just need to know more than the people trying to control you want you to know.

There is so much to sort through and so much more to learn, but I personally am going to start working toward understanding the technological world so that I can have my privacy and independence.

The Mac Version of the New Microsoft Teams is Anticipated to Roll Out in Late September

Microsoft initiated testing of its latest Teams app version for Windows back in March. Now, there’s news that the forthcoming Teams 2.0, or the new Teams, is on the verge of arriving on the Mac PC platform.

According to reports from Petri via a post within the private Microsoft 365 admin center site, the public preview of the new Teams Mac client is scheduled to be accessible in early September 2023. Admins participating in Microsoft 365’s public preview and/or targeted release programs will soon have the option to switch from the existing Teams Mac client to the fresh Teams Mac app.

Once the public preview for the new Teams Mac client commences, Microsoft assures that users will have the freedom to access it and switch back to the current Teams client at their convenience.

The primary enhancements in Microsoft Teams 2.0 are situated on the backend. Microsoft asserts that users should experience a nearly twofold improvement in app launch speed compared to the current version. Additionally, joining meetings should also be up to twice as swift. Simultaneously, the new app is expected to consume up to 50 percent less memory on Mac PCs and occupy up to 70 percent less storage compared to the current edition.

In addition to the performance enhancements, the new Teams will introduce various features designed to streamline actions and reduce clutter in areas such as notifications and messages. Users will also have the convenience of remaining signed into the new Teams app even when transitioning between different organizations and accounts.

Notably, Microsoft has recently announced that the new Teams will facilitate smoother switching between chats involving different groups within the same organization.

So it wasn't my hardrives.

It was excel. Stupid excel gives my laptop the blue screen of death. Yes, I am aware that the 6 mozila Firefox tabs and two hardrives and 7 open docs could contribute to this, but I choose to blame the cells and number software.

If my laptop dies from plugging in two hard drives I will bury it Addams family style. Bury it and dig it back up after 49 days. Why 49? I have no idea. It was just another random number. I don't know I'm out of tea and I can't make more cause dad banned me from having more than 4 cups of tea a day. Also I blackout today so that can't be good for the brain. Heh. My laptop should work better.
