WiP - Eye mod & Face up for Doll Qifrey

This is almost the last step to finish my doll of Qifrey, the eye needs of course to be modded and then painting him, he can't stay blank of course.

I am glad I did such a mod in before but Qifrey was more difficult to work on compared to Lavi, as Lavi's eyes were smaller and more narrow to start with.

But I think I got it and in the end I didn't need much sanding (barely any) as the mod came out pretty clean. I let it dry over night and then sealed the head to match the colors later on.

Like with Lavi I decided to do that with a sponge and white paint, I added texture to the head overall to make it more realistic, then I blushed the whole thing and added the scar tissue.

After a night of drying I went on, sealed the head another time and blushed more depth into the whole face.

While I was at it I gave the hands a touch up as well.

Then I added the lines, I work with very little layers.

I think he needs glued in lashes for the open eye, I have some on order as I am not sure if I wanted to give Pocket Allen some (I won't as it's not helping when he's supposed to be a travel buddy).

So here is the painted hands and the painted head!

Of course I needed to take some pics... even without the eyelashes I call him 99% finished.

correct me if im wrong, but an endogenic plural being traumatized and then developing "cdd symptoms" would just be them ending up with ptsd, right? that... wouldnt make them a CDD system, just them as they already were but with ptsd. however, i agree with mod signal (im pretty sure it was mod signal but if not forgive me) for sure that anyone who CAN benefit from mental health resources should use them.

Yep! It would be PTSD (or in very rare cases with prolonged trauma, CPTSD), though I mentioned it because the interplay between trauma and plurality isn't something that would be covered in most guides on how to deal with a traumatic event. An endo may find a bit more use with CDD resources for that, as some of them have guides on how to work with parts who may view the event differently than the majority, or on how to have a "group meeting" to try and get a clear idea of everyone's emotional state.

But yeah, you nailed my philosophy lol. If mental health resources help you, use them. Please.

Boxopening AND Chest Mod - Coralreef / Whale Island Body

So on monday the body for the Lvl 4 Akuma arrived and as I opened the box I was ...

greeted by massive tits. Not joking here. I sat in front of that box for 10 minutes before I texted my best friend that I hope this is a mistake. But ... no idea how brain afk I was back then I had ordered the big chest version.

Long story short: I hate dolls with big chests and the Lvl 4 has one side completely flat and the other is very small. It took me another 20 minutes to get myself to unbox the rest of the body.

To be honest the only time worse than this unboxing was as I got a wrong doll. But this time it was indeed my fault.

There was nothing I was happy about I just threw everything somewhere as I had no idea anymore.

I don't want to argue about "how pretty" this is, it's just something I can't have in my household as it triggers several points for me, partially even disgust and my own body dysphoria, so no discussion here.

I tried back and forth, trying to deal with my mental health escalating on this situation.

In the end I tried modding (or to start the mod) by hand but it's just a huge chunk of resin to deal with. THis was 1 hour in. YOu see it's barely a dent in it.

I put it aside and I can't say the following days were good on me. (Putting stress at work aside which already took a toll on me), in the middle of the night I decided to order a rotary tool to mod this without taking 3 weeks for it.

So this was another 45 minutes in. This time with more power.

Leading to another 30 minutes while my oven cooked my dinner.

Aaaand after one more hour:

It needs sanding but I can actually work with this.

Overall my luck is that the Akuma needs quite a bunch of mods anyways ... but not checking the chest size.... you see even with over a decade in the hobby you can be stupid.
