Pjotr (NEW PICTURES)
This is a story by Jamie, living in a suburban area close to London: Next to where I live is a building that houses construction workers from abroad. Most of the guys I see are from Poland living here to work for a construction company run by a Mr. Johnson. I didn’t really think much of it until Pjotr became my direct neighbor.
Tumblr media
Every day, I would see the rough Polish workers in the garden, their tough exterior giving away nothing but their laborious days. Dusty and unshowered, they would gather after work to smoke, drink beer, and chat until late into the night. None of them seemed to be particularly fit, most being slightly overweight. However, their dedication to their work was admirable. During vacations, they would all go back to their families in Poland and return after spending quality time with their loved ones. It was during such Summer vacation period that I bumped into someone unexpected.
As I walked down the street, lost in my own thoughts, I noticed a hot, athletic guy who appeared to be lost. Curiosity got the better of me, and I approached him to offer my help. He was looking for number 13, the house right next to mine. I excitedly told him that I lived next door, and we introduced ourselves. His name was Pjotr, and he mentioned that he was from Poland as the rest of the guys.
Pjotr had recently finished carpenter school and had come to to England pursue his dreams in the construction industry. His charming demeanor instantly struck a chord with me, and before I knew it, I had fallen head over heels in love with him.
After a week of living next to each other, Pjotr and I bumped into each other again. I asked him how he was finding his time in England so far. He confessed that work was tough and after work was a bit monotonous. The other workers would only gather to drink and never did anything particularly interesting. He expressed his struggle in connecting with his rough colleagues, who mostly talked about women and football—topics that didn't interest him much. He was happy to paths crossed have with me, as it meant having someone to talk to outside of work.
Feeling an undeniable connection, the following week, I suggested we grab some food together, and he gladly accepted. During dinner, Pjotr confided in me about his ambition to build his own dream house and start his own construction company by the time he turned 30. I found his drive and determination incredibly inspiring and showered him with praise.
Our dinners together became a regular occurrence, and soon enough, we found ourselves venturing out to clubs, enjoying the vibrant nightlife. It was during one of those late-night walks home, in the midst of a palpable tension, that Pjotr surprised me by pushing me into an alleyway and passionately kissing me. Overwhelmed by desire, I invited him up to my place, and we shared an unforgettable night together. However, we both agreed that our encounters needed to remain discreet due to the nature of our situation. On the streets, we would greet each other as neighbors, and upon entering or leaving my house, we had to ensure that no prying eyes were watching.
As time went on, our relationship deepened, and we spent almost every day together. Pjotr would sneak into my house after dinner with colleagues at 7.30 pm to share a bite with me, have amazing sex and sleep together tight and set his alarm for 4:30 am, ensuring that he made it back to his place before anyone woke up. Our secret meetings, filled with passion and desire, became the highlights of our lives. But as the months passed, I began to notice subtle changes in Pjotr's physique. Love handles appeared on his once athletic frame, accentuating his rugged charm.
Tumblr media
At first, it didn't bother me, but gradually, it became apparent that he was gaining weight. He confessed his struggle to me, explaining that his colleagues would cook fatty dinners every night, and the amount of beer they consumed was staggering. Despite his best efforts, the weight seemed to pile on rapidly, and he struggled to find a way out. To support him, I promised to cook lighter meals, but he would often snack on my food, turning my smaller portions into full dinners. Desserts became larger, and his belly started to grow bigger.
Tumblr media
Seeing him change physically didn't dampen my attraction to him; in fact, I found his size newfound incredibly appealing. I assured him that he still looked hot, hoping to boost his confidence. In response, he asked if he could my use gym, determined to shed some weight. He embarked on a rigorous workout routine, spending hours at the gym after work.
Tumblr media
The results were astonishing. His muscles bulked up, giving him an even more commanding presence. However, the weight he had gained remained, transforming him into an absolute beast of a man. He reveled in his newfound strength, attributing it partly to his size. Pjotr's colleagues, impressed by his determination, offered him lighter duties that didn't involve too much physical exertion, enabling him to indulge his appetite even more.
Tumblr media
Over the course of five years, our secret encounters continued, and Pjotr's size grew. He had saved up a considerable amount of money and shared with me his plans to leave England for good. He was eager to return to Poland and live out his dreams of building his dream house and starting his own construction company. He asked if I would join him, sharing his desire to build a life together. His family was accepting of our relationship, and I found myself seriously considering starting a new life in Poland.
Tumblr media
In the final months leading up to our departure, Pjotr had become simply obese. However, he appeared more relaxed and content now that his family knew about us. We made the decision to leave England behind and embrace a simpler life in Poland. I knew I could pursue my own career there as well. And so, that's where we find ourselves now—living a peaceful, joy-filled life in Poland I take. care of the love of my life, who spends his days building our dream house and establishing his own successful construction company. The days are busy, and as he constantly moves and works, he has shed some weight along the way. Nevertheless, his insatiable appetite and love for food guarantee that he will never be skinny again. But that's perfectly fine, because to me, he will always be the sexy, confident, and loving man I fell in love with—the who pursued man his ambitions, achieved his dreams, and captured my heart forever.

Hi! Do you have any fic recs where Derek and Scott are brothers (or at least very closely related)? Thanks in advance! You’re great <3
Sure thing!

To save money while attending college in NYC, Stiles and Derek decide to rent one tiny apartment together. With one bed.
as dear as a brother by endversed

“You are not allowed to sleep with him,” Scott says.
“You’re not the boss of me,” Stiles scoffs.
Stiles and Scott become best friends at college. Derek is Scott's hot older brother.
Please Don't Say You Love Me ('Cause I Might Not Say It Back) by Tamyou

'Derek glanced at Stiles, who's smile dissolved into a light frown. He moved his hands again, and Derek flicked his eyes back to Sheriff Stilinski, silently asking for help. The Sheriff took a few steps forwards.
"Stiles is mute." He said.'

Got To Get You Into My Life by NekoAliceYamiYaoi
(27/27 I 89.314 I Teen I Sterek)
While on summer vacations with his best friend, Stiles never thought that he would fall for Scott's step-brother, the devilish handsome Derek. At the same time Scott feels a little attracted to his brother's best friend, Isaac.
But We're Still Sleeping Like We're Lovers by CharWright5
(15/15 I 109,744 I Explicit I Sterek)
There are several things Stiles Stilinski knows to be facts: he's a werecoyote like his parents; his twin sister Malia could use a filter more than him; he's an Omega and terrified of his upcoming heat; and Derek Hale-McCall will never see him as anything more than his kid brother's best friend. Doesn't stop Stiles from asking the Alpha to help him during his heat. Or from developing some serious feelings that go beyond the bedroom. Basically, he's totally screwed, in more ways than one.
Unforgettable by Sallyasher1994
(18/18 I 161,510 I Explicit I Sterek)
“No, I guess not,” Stiles shakes his head distractedly, “What’s this about anyway?” What was it about? Had his dad called and complained about his attitude over the phone? Technically it was made from a work station but it was a personal phone call. He can’t get in trouble for that right? Then Stiles thought about how his stand in boss had mentioned Derek. Derek who is in Beacon Hills right now. Within driving distance of his father. All alone. Without his scrawny, children’s book comparison of a husband to defend him. Stiles felt his heart sink with dread. What had his dad done?
“Everyone get your go bags, we’re heading to Beacon Hills,” - Derek and Stiles are married and work for the FBI, with Scott, Stiles best friend and Derek’s brother. Stiles has always struggled with his father hating Derek, but he never thought it would culminate in the man arresting Derek for several murders. Stiles and Scott have to take the team to their home now and see if they can not only free Derek, but also catch a killer, and do it before anyone else gets hurt… they can’t do all three.

• hyunjin x female reader; lee know, jeongin and seungmin are featured.

Evermore. A café that is also a bookstore. A place where you can sit down with a book, sip delicious coffee, slip away from reality. Evermore is your favorite place. For the coffee, for the books, for Hyunjin.
• author’s note: I am very excited and nervous to share this one-shot with you. I hope I can do justice to our dear Hyunjin and that you enjoy reading it. If you can grab a warm drink and a blanket to set the mood ♡
Dedicated to @straywrds ♡ thank you for being in my life.
Tumblr media
It was summer and you came every Tuesday.
It was the season of iced americanos and lemonade, the sunshine reflecting on the windows and filling the place with light. People came in to grab a cold drink, maybe a cookie, and strolled back outside. They borrowed books to read under the sun or bought a few for their vacation. It was a hot and humid summer, of lazy evenings that stretched into unforgettable nights. Hyunjin liked to keep the place open later in the summer, as late as the ice cream place next door. Sometimes, after having indulged in a dessert, people liked to grab a coffee to get the taste of sugar off their tongue.
On Tuesdays he would glance at the door just before two, waiting for you. You never failed to show up. You got your iced coffee, which you took with just a few drops of vanilla soy milk, and sat down at your favorite table, the one in the corner, close to the History section. You would spend the next two hours or so going through a book, slowly sipping your beverage, and you would determine if you wanted to buy it or not. Sometimes you did, sometimes you didn’t. Hyunjin didn’t mind. It was the whole concept of the place.
People could read as much as they wanted as long as they bought a drink or a snack. The books were there to be read. They could be bought, but not borrowed. There were plenty of places to sit, tables and couches and armchairs. On the floor were laid large carpets furnished with cushions. There was always coffee and food available.
Hyunjin was proud of his book café.
He was even more proud to see you find solace in it.
At least that’s what he assumed - why would you come every week, if it wasn’t the case? He saw how your shoulders relaxed as you read, how sometimes you briefly closed your eyes in delight after your first sip of coffee. His favorite thing, after seeing you smile, was to see your brow furrow as you read something that captivated you. Your head would fall forward, your hair brushing your cheeks, and you would completely forget the world around you.
You didn’t notice him looking at you.
He wasn’t stalking you. You were just one of his favorite customers. Polite, kind. Pretty. You saw him as more than just the guy with the apron selling him books and coffee. You smiled at him, asked how he was that week. Maybe you did that with everyone, but he still liked it. He would find himself giving you the cookie from the freshest batch, or brewing a new pitcher of his best coffee just before came in. He would forget to charge you extra for the vanilla soy milk.
He was a whole cliché mess but he did not care. You brought softness to his days. Solace to the routine. He made this place for people like you. But it was even more than that. In fact, sometimes, he became convinced he created it specifically for you. Perhaps that was going too far, but Hyunjin had never been a reasonable man. He was a romantic through and through, and he did not care about the logic of things. He liked the poetry of you, composed one verse at a time each summer Tuesday.
One week the air conditioning broke. It got hot real fast, and Hyunjin already had a layer of sweat on his skin when you came in at two o’clock. You were wearing denim shorts and a tank top. You chuckled amusingly, and said to him, quite hot today, isn’t it? He suggested coming another time because it would be uncomfortable but you didn’t care. You paid for your beverage and sat at your usual spot. You gathered your hair together and secured it with a clip - a few strands of hair stuck to the back of your neck  and Hyunjin stared at them. He wiped the sweat off his brow, and tried to focus on work.
About half an hour later you came back to the counter and asked for an empty glass full of ice cubes. Don’t worry, you told him. I won’t get the books wet. Hyunjin trusted you - he gave you the ice cubes with a smile, licking the sweat off his lips. At first he thought you just wanted to let them melt in your mouth, but you surprised him.
He watched as you took the ice cubes in your hands, placed them against your skin and let them melt there. Sometimes you put them on your neck, sometimes on your cheek. He was never as distracted as that afternoon, admiring the ice turn into water on your skin, sliding down your arm or your collarbone. He imagined following the trail with his finger. Or with his tongue, maybe.
That sent a shiver up his spine.
He had to relieve his throbbing cock in the bathroom of the café, eyes shut against the image of you panting beside him, his skin sticky and his thoughts tangled together.
He wasn’t obsessed with you. You were just so soothing. Something about you made him want to stare for hours, a lazy smile upon his lips, appeased.
He barely knew anything about you, which was fine. It’s not even that he wanted to know everything. Of course he liked when you told him things - he reveled in every new information you revealed, but he savored them like candy. Piece by piece, letting them melt on his tongue to a syrup, at a slow and steady rhythm. He was not interested in rushing things. From time to time you told him about you, and from time to time he told you about him.
You were a harpist. You played with an orchestra and gave lessons at the nearby music school. On Tuesdays your last lesson ended at 1:45, which gave you the rest of the afternoon to relax. The café was your favorite place to do that.
Hyunjin told you he opened the café a few years ago with the help of a friend. He had never much ambition except having his own place to take care of. For a long time he hesitated between a café and a bookstore, and eventually settled on a place that served as both. His only regret was to not make it a cat café - but it was never too late. Maybe in a few years, he told you once with a shy laugh.
By all accounts, you were single. You did not have a ring around your finger, and you never mentioned a boyfriend. But maybe you were just private about it. Maybe you were casually dating. It wasn’t any of his business.
Hyunjin was not single. He had been in his relationship for a year and thought he was in love. But you changed everything.
That was how a heart was supposed to beat, he realized.
That was the ecstatic rhythm of a healthy and blissful heart.
He told himself he would break up with his girlfriend and ask you out before the end of the summer. Each week he told himself, next Tuesday. I’ll do it next Tuesday. But he never did, and time slipped through his fingers like sand.
Summer faded away and you stopped coming.
Tumblr media
You look up at the sign and smile to yourself. Evermore. So accurately named. You haven’t been in there in forever, it seems, and to a certain extent it has. Months. Back then it was summer and you spent a few hours there every week. Never missed a Tuesday. The doors used to be left wide open and you could smell coffee from meters away.
Now the snow creaks under the soles of your boots and the doors are shut. It is cold today and you bury your nose in your scarf.
It is not Tuesday, but you have nothing planned and you are dying for a warm cup of coffee and a good book. You haven’t done that in ages. You miss it. Surely, he won’t remember you. Surely, it’s been long enough for him to forget.
You pull the handle of the door and enter the café. Immediately you smell the familiar smells, coffee and sugar and cinnamon, mellow music playing on the speakers. You wipe your boots on the carpet and head to the counter, gazing around, smiling to yourself. It’s as you remember, the floorboards creaking under your feet, the seemingly endless rows of books, the quiet noise of conversation.
Him.
You see him, behind the counter, busy cleaning a machine. He hasn’t noticed you. He still looks the same, his thin chocolate hair grazing his ears, his apron tied around his waist. It’s the first time you see him in a sweater. It looks soft, a creamy beige color, the sleeves rolled up his forearms. His wide hands are quick and agile. You swallow, trying to steady your erratic heartbeat.
He probably doesn’t remember you.
You have only been strangers, after all.
The place is quiet and comforting. During summer days it was the breeze upon your cheek, and now it’s like stepping inside a warm, familiar room. It feels like you could find a fireplace in the corner, your mother’s gingerbread cookies, your favorite slippers. How can it feel so much like home if you haven’t been here in months?
You loosen your scarf and unbutton your coat, stepping closer to the counter.
“Hi,” you say, trying not to sound too nervous.
He turns around, meeting your eyes. They immediately sweep you off your feet, and you’re glad the cold has already reddened your cheeks, because Hyunjin looks even more celestial than before. Eyes like the deepest night sky, lips the most delicate shade of pink. They looked a little damaged, chapped, probably because of the cold, but they are still inviting. His hair is longer, tickling the collar of his sweater, but shorter strands graze his eyebrows. He looks at you like you can’t really be here - but before you can try to understand what it means, he swallows and smiles timidly at you.
“It’s you,” he breathes.
And you thought he wouldn’t recognize you. So much for that. Your words completely evade you, and you feel a little silly, standing there.
“I - I haven’t seen you in so long,” he stammers, rubbing the back of his head, looking nervous.
“I was away,” you tell him simply. “I came back just a couple of days ago.”
“Oh,” he nods, “I see. I’m just glad to see you’re okay.”
You smile, your nervousness fading slightly. “Thanks. I’m happy to be back. I missed this place a lot.”
Hyunjin blushes, evading your gaze for a moment, and his reaction surprises you so much you have to do the same. You look down at your boots, at the floor, at the display of pastries to your right.
“Can I get you anything?”
His voice brings you back to him. You give him a nod, glancing at the menu above his head. It’s a little different than it was this summer, but it’s not much of a surprise. There are so many things you want to try. You hesitate between a few drinks, chewing on your lower lip, trying to make a choice.
“I’ll have… Oh, God, I can’t choose,” you chuckle.
Hyunjin’s eyes squeeze into crescents as he smiles amusingly. “I could make you an iced coffee, but it might be a little cold for that.”
“Definitely,” you answer, smiling widely. “I’ll try the… macchiato?”
“Coming right up.”
You lean against the counter as Hyunjin gets to work, preparing your drink. You take the opportunity to look around some more, immersing yourself in your environment. It’s not too busy for a Thursday night, probably because of the cold. You see students working on their computers, a young man browsing books, an older woman reading one, comfortably seated on an armchair with a blanket on her legs.
On the speakers, a gentle piano melody starts to play. You close your eyes, inhaling the smells around you. You feel calm.
When Hyunjin comes back with your drink, you reach for your wallet but he quickly holds up a palm.
“Please. It’s on me. To welcome you back.”
You stammer. “But -”
“It’s my pleasure.”
He seems so sincerely happy to offer it to you that you can only smile, giving him a grateful nod. You’re not sure what to say. You glance down at the ceramic mug, filled to the brim with caramel-colored foam, an intricate floral pattern drawn in it. It smells heavenly, and you already know it will be delicious.
“Thank you.”
“Enjoy.”
You wish you could stay there with him. Walk around the counter and hang there, catching up with him. You wonder what he’s been up to. How business has been. Why he looks so tired. You want to tell him how seeing him again makes you feel. Like you’ve been away from where you belong. Like you’ve never even left.
But you can’t. You don’t know him, not really. A name, a few silly details. Just bits and pieces, not even enough to be able to call him a friend. So you give him another smile, carefully take the mug in your hands, and search for a table.
Of course, you don’t really hesitate. You sit at the same table as you did this summer. It offers a perfect view of the busy street ahead, so you can watch people walk by and try to figure out where they come from, where they are going. It also shields you just a little from view, because not a lot of people are interested in the Poetry section. The spot also allows you easy glances at the main counter, so you can watch Hyunjin work.
So what if you have a little crush on your favorite barista? You don’t see the harm in it. Hyunjin is a handsome, charming guy. He’s your age. He has a successful business. He is kind and soft-spoken. He likes book, has a sweet tooth. He is everything you could ever wish for and convinced you can never have. After all, why would Hyunjin see you?
But he remembers you. That much you are surprised of. You did come here once a week for a few months, and you had a few conversations, but it was nothing deep, just small talk. But back then he remembered your order and called you by your name. You wonder if he still remembers it now, like you could never forget his.
Once you remove your coat and scarf, you take a sip of the macchiato and it makes your taste buds dance. It’s the perfect temperature, and just the right amount of spices. Is that a hint of vanilla you taste, too? It’s your favorite flavor.
You smile to yourself, licking your lips so as to not lose even a drop, and lean back into the chair. Outside the window blows through the freshly fallen snow, twirling it into the air like small tornadoes.
You could get yourself a book but for now, you just want to look outside and enjoy the feeling of being here. You were anxious it would be a little too different during the winter, but it isn’t. The place has a soul that leaves a permanent imprint, and it whispers Hyunjin’s name.
Perhaps it isn’t even him. Perhaps it’s this place. You might have ended up projecting the solace it brought you on its owner, as if he is responsible for it. Because what do you know about Hyunjin, apart from a couple of disarrayed fragments? You have no idea who he really is. Perhaps you have been too eager to love. You’ve always so desperately wanted to believe in it.
You do not love Hyunjin. You love this place and how it makes you feel. And just as you’re about to convince yourself of that, your eyes slide across the room and fall on him. He’s leaning on the counter, facing your way, gnawing on a nail. The sleeves of his sweater are a little too long, and cover most of his hands. He’s looking at you - and when he realizes you’re looking back, smiles nervously and waves.
You do the same.
It’s not the first time this has happened. Back during the summer, you’ve surprised his gaze in a similar fashion. But you often just thought he was looking in your general direction - you were sitting next to a large window that opened on a busy street. You never thought much of it. But sometimes it really did feel like he was looking at you.
Like that hot summer day, when the air conditioning wasn’t working. You had been so desperately hot that day but you didn’t want to leave. Hyunjin had rolled the sleeves of his t-shirt around his shoulders and his arms looked like sculpted marble. You asked for ice cubes, a trick that you had seen your mother do a thousand times, not thinking much of it. But you had caught Hyunjin staring and thought he found you weird, so you stopped, worried you were making a fool of yourself. Luckily, if he did, he didn’t hold it against you.
You see him now and your heart trembles.
You missed him.
Once you finish your drink and get lost in your thoughts some more, you start to feel tired. You don’t want to spend the rest of your night yawning, and you have to get up early, so you reluctantly slip your coat back on and bring your empty mug to the counter. Hyunjin thanks you with a smile.
“How was it?” he asks, wide eyes fixed on you.
“Really good,” you nod. “Loved the hint of vanilla.”
He nods, looking proud.
“Goodnight,” you tell him, wrapping your scarf around your neck.
As you turn, Hyunjin’s voice stops you.
“Y/N,” he calls, softly, his voice almost quivering.
You do your best to keep a steady smile on your lips, but inside of you, your heart feels like it’s just been squeezed tightly. Your name.
He remembers your name.
“Will I see you on Tuesdays again?” he asks softly.
You swallow, glancing nervously at your hands.
“I don’t think so,” you admit. “I have lessons until late that day, starting next week.”
Is that disappointment you see on his face? You’re not sure. You give him a timid smile, however, accompanied with a shrug.
“I do have my Wednesdays off, though. So they might become my new Tuesday.”
He meets your eyes, and you smile perhaps a little too widely. You can’t help it - his eyes are shimmering, his cheeks a soft pink.
“I’ll see you next Wednesday, then.”
You allow yourself to drift off in his eyes, just for a second. “See you then.”
Tumblr media
It is winter and you come every Wednesday.
Ever since that night you order the same drink. A strong macchiato with steamed vanilla soy milk. The one he created specifically for you.
He would probably lie if you asked him, but he did.
You fall in love with his cranberry scones so Hyunjin makes sure they are fresh out of the oven when you pass the door. He discovers your collection of sweaters - his favorite is the color of apricots, the one you pair with golden earrings. He learns that an old friend knitted your scarf back when you were in high school and you wear it every winter since. That your boots are new because the soles of the previous ones were ruined from an evening of intense chewing by your mother’s dog.
That the reason you disappeared was nothing tragic. You got a provisional contract to play for an orchestra across the country, replacing someone on maternity leave. It was just a few weeks but you stayed for longer, enjoying the time away.
You needed to clear your mind and see the world, you tell him one Wednesday night. He is sorting books in the aisles when you appear, in search of a new one to read. You start to chat, and he loves the way you lean against the shelves, your arms behind your back, your colored lips telling stories about what you saw. You had a good time there but you missed home, you say.
Hyunjin could listen to you for hours.
Your nails are painted the color of cream and your perfume has hints of vanilla. He thought it was bad this summer but this is worse. He can’t stop thinking about you. He wonders what your kitchen looks like, what kind of art you have on your walls. How your hair looks sprayed upon your pillow, if your cheeks are puffed up in the morning. He wants to make you your favorite espresso so it’s the first thing you smell when you wake up, and then perhaps make you come with his tongue.
He keeps hearing your voice pronouncing his name. He keeps seeing you wrap your scarf around your slender neck. He keeps smelling vanilla everywhere he goes.
He should probably do something. Ask you out, or at least find a way to discover if you are single. He is, after all. Broke up with his girlfriend after you didn’t come back for a couple of weeks. He couldn’t stand to see her anymore. He didn’t have you, he didn’t want anyone.
A part of him expects you to show up with someone one day, holding their hand, smiling lovingly at them while waiting for your drinks. He should ask. That’s what anyone would do, after all. He should express his feelings, or find a way to exorcize them out of his body.
But Hyunjin likes it the way it is. He likes the romance, he thrills on the longing. He likes that time slows down. That he gets a glimpse of you every Wednesday, the colors of winter passing upon your cheeks, and that you remain a mystery. At the same time he feels like he deeply knows you, beyond usual bonds, that you connect on an intangible level. Both a stranger and a soulmate. He’s probably delusional - but he’d rather be a romantic than a realist.
Today is Saturday and Hyunjin can’t stop thinking about the black turtleneck you wore a few days ago. You had your hair in a ponytail, the tight collar hugging your neck so well. You bought a book saying it was a gift for someone, but you didn’t say who. For family, perhaps? You didn’t say. He didn’t ask.
The door of the Evermore opens and lets in a gust of wind. He looks up, just curious to see what kind of client is coming in, and his heart stops. It’s you.
On a Saturday.
And you are not alone.
He knew the day would come. He knew it would happen. The day you’d come through the door with someone. Yet he wasn’t prepared for the blow. It’s like someone’s just punched him in the stomach, knocked the air out.
You look pretty. You’re wearing a little more makeup than usual and your long wool coat hangs open. It’s warm outside today because of the bright sun, so that might be why. You’re smiling broadly, in the middle of laughing, looking back at your friend. He’s telling you something, a mischievous smirk curving his lips, closing the door behind him. He has dark hair and beautiful doe eyes.
You chuckle to what he says, heading towards the counter, and Hyunjin straightens his back. It’s okay, he tells himself. Of course you have a life outside this place. Of course you have a life outside of him. You are not a fantasy. You are a person.
“Hey, Hyunjin,” you say, walking up to him.
Your eyes are full of light and Hyunjin’s breath catches in his throat. “Hey. Fancy seeing you here on a Saturday.”
“Yeah,” you laugh. “We’re going ice skating in the park and so, in dire need of caffeine. I told Minho he had to taste that macchiato of yours.”
Minho. The guy behind you gives Hyunjin a kind smile. He nods back, unable to really understand how he’s feeling right now. All he wants to do is ask. Who is he? Your brother? Your friend? Your date? Your boyfriend?
What makes you think I want him to taste the drink I made for you?
“She kept insisting it was the most delicious hot drink she ever had, so…” Minho says with a chuckle.
He looks at you with some kind of affection but Hyunjin is unable to identify which kind. He keeps smiling, he keeps breathing. In a way it’s even more fascinating to see you interact with someone you know. What does this guy know about you, Hyunjin wonders? What parts of yourself do you share with him?
“Two macchiatos, then,” Hyunjin nods. “I’ll get that ready for you.”
“Thank you,” you say, searching your bag.
Minho shakes his head, already handing Hyunjin his card. “Please. It’s my treat.”
“Oh, thank you.”
He looks down at you and smiles, and your cheeks get pink. Whoever he is, you’re not used to his presence. Hyunjin watches you interact with him as he prepares the drinks. From the way Minho interacts with you, Hyunjin can safely conclude he’s flirting. It doesn’t look like you know each other well, though, from the information you seem to give him. If this isn’t your first date, it’s either the second or the third.
Hyunjin will give him that - Minho listens to you. He seems interested, both in what you look like and what you have to say. Hyunjin might have expected jealousy to blossom in his heart, but he can barely feel its claws. He’s curious. He’s happy for you. You deserve to be taken care of. He doesn’t want to hate the guy, especially not if you like him, if he makes you smile.
Of course he wishes it was him. He would ice skate with you for hours, holding your hand. He would kiss your cold cheeks and make you hot chocolate afterwards. But he’s not in your life like that.
Still, he doesn’t put vanilla soy milk in the guy’s macchiato. That’s just for you.
“Here you go,” Hyunjin tells you, handing you the drinks when he is done. “Have a good time.”
“Thanks. I’ll see you Wednesday?”
“I’ll be here.”  You smile at him one last time, and Minho does the same, politely. Once you’re back outside, Hyunjin watches you walk away until you disappear around a corner. Out of sight. Out of reach.
Tumblr media
Minho walked you home that night. After you went ice skating you ate at a delicious Italian restaurant. You had a glass of wine and he paid for the meal. You offered him to come up for a nightcap, and after you talked for a while on your couch, he kissed you. His lips were soft, his hand gentle as he cupped your cheek. He was an excellent kisser, and a part of you really wanted to take him to bed.
You’re not sure why you hesitated - but Minho sensed it and did not even ask. He just kissed you again and whispered goodnight. The sudden dread of being alone caught you, and you suggested he stayed, but he smiled at you and shook his head. I should get home. You didn’t insist.
Once you laid on bed and pushed your fingers inside you, relieving your aching folds, it was not him you thought about. It was a boy with tranquil eyes and inviting lips. A boy whose fingers you pictured on your skin, whose smile you imagined against your wetness. You wondered what he would sound like. Would he just breathe in your neck, or maybe whisper sinful words? What would his voice sound like, roughened up, muffled against your lips? You come to the thought of his arms around you, lean muscles holding you close.
It barely feels enough. You feel on edge up all the way to Wednesday. That morning, as you do on Wednesdays, you wake up with a smile on your face.
A thick layer of heavy, crunchy snow has fallen during the night. It’s perfect for making snowmen, sliding, and crafting snow forts, and so all afternoon you spy people gearing up for skiing and other winter activities. It’s not too cold either, and there is barely any wind - the ideal weather for long walks to admire the snow lounging on tree branches. Your own eyes have wandered on them all day, and you barely got anything done.
The Café is extremely busy all afternoon, people coming in and out for hot chocolates and coffees to go. Hyunjin and his co-worker, a journalism student called Jeongin, are overwhelmed, barely able to stop for a few breaks. You watch them warily, wishing you could lend a hand, but you are sure Hyunjin will say no.
Now, it’s nearly five and things have slowed down. People are busy preparing and eating dinner, but they’ll come back - the nearby restaurants are packed and you just know all of them will want a delicious coffee to finish their meal. You should get going. You should get home, get your things in order. Keep living your life. Call your mother, fold the laundry, and plan another date with Minho. But your heart wants none of those things. You just feel like lingering here a little longer.
You stand up, walking lazily around the book tables near the counter, pretending like you’re reading the back cover of a mystery book.
Hyunjin and Jeongin are talking in hushed tones, but from this distance you can make out what they are saying.
“I’m sorry, Hyun,” Jeongin says. “I wish I could stay, but I have a midterm tomorrow, and...”
Hyunjin shakes his head. “School is more important. Go. I’ll be fine.”
“You sure? It’ll be busy tonight.”
“I’ll manage. Go study.”
Jeongin thanks Hyunjin profusely, removing his apron and grabbing his coat. In a matter of seconds he leaves the café, and Hyunjin lets out a deep sigh. His long fingers slide through his tousled hair, his eyes a little puffy from exhaustion. Today he wears a white button-up, the collar a little crooked. Underneath it you spy a delicate silver chain.
When he meets your gaze you smile kindly at him, putting down the book.
“Busy day,” you say, hoping he notices the concern in your eyes.
He chuckles, clacking his tongue against his palate. “You said it. Crazy.”
“Do you have someone else coming in?” you can’t help but ask.
Hyunjin gives you a curious look and you shrug, blushing a little bit.
“Couldn’t help but overhear.”
“Ah,” he smiles briefly. “Yeah, no. It’ll be just me tonight.”
He tries to sound optimistic, you can hear it in his voice - but there’s that slight tone of defeat, or maybe just apprehension. You hesitate, biting your lower lip. You have nothing to lose by suggesting it to him. It’s not like you have anything planned. And this place has done so much for you - he has done so much. It’s the least you can do. So you take a few steps towards him, placing your hands on the counter.
“Hyunjin,” you say softly, tasting his name on your lips.
You don’t think you’ve ever said it much - but it feels nice. Better than nice, really. You like it. Hyunjin. Like a melody you were born to sing. He looks up at you with wide eyes, his ears a little red.
“Let me help you, please?” you say.
He opens his mouth with a frown and you hold a hand up.
“I don’t have anything else to do,” you quickly add, “and you don’t have to pay me. I’m no good at making coffee, but I can work the register. Just show me the ropes and I can do it.”
“Y/N, I can’t accept, this is -”
“You can only say no if you don’t trust me with it,” you interrupt him again with the kindest smile you can muster. “Which would be fine. But that’s the only reason I’ll accept.”
He closes his mouth and gives you a long look. You raise your eyebrows. A few clients walk into the café, chatting loudly about their plans for skiing later. In no time the place will be packed again, you are sure of it. So is Hyunjin, who knows his business better than anyone. He sighs, closing his eyes briefly, and smiles at you.
“All right,” he says. “But it’s just because I really need help. And the second you get tired I want you to stop, yeah?”
“Promise.”
“Come around the counter, then,” he grins.
Your heartbeat accelerates, and you tell yourself it’s because of the situation, not because of him or the way he smiles at you with constellations in his eyes. You get your things from your table, securing them in the back, and Hyunjin hands you an apron. He shows you how the register works as the recent clients make their order. It’s odd to stand so close to him, his body warmth mingling with yours. You can smell hints of his shampoo and his hand grazes against yours as he walks you through the steps. The register system is simple so you get a hold of it quickly, which is a good thing, because Hyunjin has to make the drinks, and there are more people coming in.
You don’t have much time to think in the next hours, serving clients and helping Hyunjin with what you can. You glance at him from time to time, watching his body move with ease. He knows exactly where to stand, how many steps to take. It’s like a dance, a waltz of foamed milk and carefully dusted spices. Soon the almond scones and chocolate cookies get sold out, the dishes pile up in the sink, and the rush slows down. The café closes, and you feel both exhausted and exhilarated. Your legs are wobbly and your cheeks hurt from smiling, but you don’t mind. As Hyunjin closes the register, you get behind the sink to do the dishes, making sure the ceramic mugs and metallic cutlery are thoroughly clean.
You’re so focused on your task you don’t hear the last client leaving. Hyunjin comes to stand next to you, resting against the counter with a smile.
“All locked up. We did it.”
You smile broadly at him, feeling a rush of pride. He looks at you attentively in return, a smirk curving his lips. The last few hours have gotten you used to being so close to him, but he still makes your heart jolt.
“Here,” he says, handing you a macaron - espresso flavored, your favorite.
You chuckle, showing him your gloved hands, covered in water and foam from the dishes.
“Just put it there, I’ll…”
“Don’t move.”
You freeze as he takes a step closer. He guides the macaron to your lips, looking at them attentively, and you slowly part them. You bite into the macaron, your eyes planted in Hyunjin’s, in awe of the shape and depth of them. He’s beautiful, is all you can think.
Hyunjin gently pushes the macaron in your mouth, and the tip of his finger brushes your lips. You have to make a conscious effort not to sigh at the touch, and instead focus on the delicious flavors on your tongue. You smile, fully aware, however, that your cheeks must be a bright red.
Almost as red as the ears poking out from between his hair.
“It’s delicious,” you say once you finish the macaron.
Hyunjin smiles, although he’s no longer looking you in the eye. He’s staring at your lips. “I know it’s your favorite.”
“You have a good memory.”
“I guess it’s a good quality to have for what I do,” he nods.
Hyunjin grabs a tea towel to dry the dishes and you continue to talk, the tension slowly dissipating. You focus on the conversation, exchanging thoughts about careers and winter, meals and music. Hyunjin makes you laugh, makes you forget the exhaustion, makes you remember what it’s like to be heard. When you finish the dishes, Hyunjin disappears in the back. You remove your apron, fold it and put it on the counter - and you walk towards the nearest window, staring out at the winter night.
It’s started snowing again. The snowflakes are big, powdery, falling on the ground as if in slow motion. There’s a full moon in the sky. You stare at the tranquil scene, your heart both serene and febrile. You don’t want to go home.
You got a text from Minho earlier. He asked if you were free that weekend. You get your phone out of your pocket, telling yourself you need to answer him. You like him. He’s a nice guy, attentive and charming. The two dates you had were fun, casual. He didn’t pressure you. You met him through friends, and he’s been nothing but kind. But something is missing. A heartbeat. A flame. A truth, maybe. You’re not sure.
You stare down at your phone, your fingers hovering over the screen.
“Want a drink?”
You spin to see Hyunjin standing a few steps behind you, holding a bottle of red wine. He’s smiling, his head slightly tilted to the right. He removed his apron, and it’s the first time you see him without it. His white button-up is only half tucked into his jeans, which hang around a slim waist, secured by a simple leather belt.
“You have wine here?” you say with an amused smile.
He chuckles, looking down at the bottle to read the label.
“My mother gave it to me when I celebrated the five-year opening of the café. I never opened it. Thought this would be a good time. We deserve it after the evening we just had.” He considers you, his smile charming. “No pressure, though.”
You shake your head. “I’d love to.”
You get comfortable in a cozy corner of the book café, away from the windows, sitting down on a lush carpet, leaning on fluffy cushions and pillows. You both remove your shoes and when you tell Hyunjin you’re a little cold, he hands you a blanket that you wrap around your shoulders.
Hyunjin opens the bottle and fills two ceramic mugs, handing you one. You toast to your successful evening, keeping your eyes on each other as you drink. The wine is thick and tastes like cherry and flowers.
“Thank you for helping me,” he says. “It means a lot.”
“Of course. It was fun. Reminded me of my college days.”
Hyunjin pulls his knees to him, leans his head against the wall, studying you. He looks tired, but calm.
“How’s that?”
You bite your lip, trying not to smile too widely. “I was a barista for a while to pay my tuition fees.”
Hyunjin gasps. “Really?”
“I was…” You chuckle, looking down at your wine. “I was very bad at it.”
Hyunjin’s laugh echoes through the room. It’s so loud, so undisciplined - thoroughly enchanting. You wish it filled your mug instead of the wine. You laugh with him, hiding your face in your hands.
“I didn’t want to tell you that earlier so you didn’t panic, but… it’s probably a really good thing I didn’t touch the coffee.”
You take a sip of wine, still giggling as Hyunjin laughs again.
“And I trusted you,” he says dramatically, shaking his head at you.
“Why do you think I come here all the time?” you retort. “I cannot make my own coffee, Hyunjin, that’s why.”
His smile occupies half of his face, his shirt a little too big for him. You feel a strange longing. How can you, for someone you barely know? But you do.
He points a finger at you. “Making coffee is a skill. It’s something you learn. I’ll teach you.”
“What if I’m a lost cause?”
“That’s all right,” he nods solemnly. “We all need to be bad at something.”
You laugh, and before you know it your mugs are empty. As the conversation flows, you get tipsy on the wine, emptying the bottle to the last drop. You and Hyunjin talk about everything and nothing. He shows you the trailer for a movie he’s excited to see, and you make him listen to a song. After you forget to press pause and your phone just keeps playing music in the background.
You talk about your lives, your exes, your dreams. But it’s strange, it’s like the outside world doesn’t truly belong here. The Evermore is its own world and you feel more at home in it than you ever did anywhere else. You had a little too much wine, so when you try to explain the feeling to Hyunjin, you fail miserably.
“It’s true, Hyunjin,” you tell him with pleading eyes. “This place… it has something special.”
He watches you, almost - tenderly?
“It’s only because of people like you,” he says softly. “You make it live.”
“But it’s not just that,” you whisper, ignoring the sudden acceleration of your heartbeat. “It’s… fuck, I can’t find the words.”
You sigh exasperatedly, and then hold up a finger. A smile creeps upon your lips.
“Hold on. I have an idea.”
You carefully set your mug down, standing up on shaky legs. The world tilts slightly, but you keep your balance and extend your hand towards Hyunjin. He looks at you for a few seconds but eventually slides his palm in yours. You help him up, and you keep your hands interlocked as you lead him towards the bookshelves.
You know exactly what you are looking for. You go towards the end of the Fiction section, squeezed between two aisles and the wall, and let go of Hyunjin. He stays close to you as you slide your fingers on the book’s bindings, searching for a title. Despite your state, you find it quickly and pull the book off the shelf.
“Here,” you breathe, opening the book to search for the words you are looking for.
You are focused and you don’t notice Hyunjin’s eyes fixed upon you. You flip through the pages, and after a minute, you put your index above a few lines of text.
“This. This is what it is.”
You lift your eyes and meet his. He is studying you closely, his eyes a profound shade of brown, his mouth parted. You almost entirely forget about the book. Hyunjin’s lips are stained cranberry red by the wine.
He draws a sharp breath.
“Read it to me.”
His voice is hoarse. You lick your lips, taste the wine. You wish they tasted like something else. You swallow, advert your eyes, and start to read. The words drip from your mouth, and you’re not sure you’re reading them correctly because it’s like you can’t hear your own voice. Your heartbeat is too loud, pounding in your chest and resonating against your temples.
When you’re done, you look up at Hyunjin again, who has not moved. After a second of silence, he shakes his head. You open your mouth, convinced he’s going to say you’re not making any sense.
Hyunjin stops you with a kiss.
His lips sweep yours, plucking them like a fruit. You gasp in surprise but Hyunjin only deepens the kiss, pressing his plump lips against yours, eager, ravenous. It’s like the world has stopped spinning, or perhaps it is only spinning faster, so fast you can’t see it. The book slips from between your fingers and falls on the ground with a faint thump, but you barely notice it. Your hands grab Hyunjin’s shirt, pulling him towards your body, kissing him back feverishly.
His mouth embraces yours, his kisses ardent as he pushes you against the bookshelf, one of his hands on the small of your back, his fingers slightly digging into your skin. His other hand is in your hair, tousling your hair, sending blissful shivers throughout your body. He gasps for air, drinking you in, and you sigh from his absence. When his lips take yours once more, you graze them with your teeth, eliciting a muffled groan from him. He bucks his hips against you, like there aren’t any layers of clothes separating your skin, like he’s already deep inside of you, filling you to the brim.
It’s alluring, it’s sinful. You’re dizzy and entranced, and you just want to rip his clothes off, witness his body, and let him ravish you.
You shouldn’t. This is rushed, this is irresponsible. You should think things through, you should exert self-control.
But you don’t.
You bite his lip harder, and he stammers a moan inside your mouth. His fingers grip your waist harder, pushing hard in your skin. You roll your hips against him, panting against his mouth, feeling his hardening cock inside his jeans.
“Hyunjin…” you whisper.
“Fuck, this can’t be real,” he breathes, grabbing your face with both of his hands, his fingers desperately holding on to you.
His tongue slithers around yours, febrile. The sensation of his saliva blending with yours sends shockwaves all the way down to between your legs, and you have to squeeze your thighs together. You can feel it, you’re both too drunk to be able to make it last, to do it like you’d like to, to be reasonable about it. You can’t care about that right now.
With nervous fingers, and between sloppy kisses, you unbutton each other’s jeans. He lowers yours, taking a long look at your panties, as you free his cock, stroking it in your palm. He throbs around your hand, leaking pre-cum. You push your underwear aside, your cunt a soaked mess, and help him align himself with your entrance.
“Are you sure -”
“Please,” you sigh.
He buries himself inside of you, his cock stretching your walls. You let out a loud moan and wrap your arms around his neck for stability. Hyunjin breathes heavily in your neck, his lips feeling hot against your skin.
“You feel so fucking good,” he murmurs. “I can’t believe I’m fucking you.”
“Don’t stop, Hyunjin, please…”
“Never.”
He nearly removes himself from you, only to thrust his hips deeper. You whimper, holding his body close to yours. He starts to pound into you, almost frantically, but keeping his pelvis in perfect control so that his cock hits the right spots inside of you. Your pleasure builds so quickly you clench around him more tightly with every move, and Hyunjin cries out in your ear.
As you feel yourself drift into your orgasm, your eyes roll back and you grip Hyunjin’s hair. You whimper his name as your body relinquishes control, and as you come around him, Hyunjin lets out a deep grunt and empties himself inside of you. You feel the thick spurts of his seed, you feel his body twitch, you feel his lips trembling.
You breathe out, sweaty and shuddering against him. Hyunjin places a soft kiss on your collarbone and you shiver. It’s almost like you could blink and realize none of this has happened, that you have read the passage from the book and looked at him wishing he would kiss you.
But this is real. This happened.
You don’t know whether to tense or relax, so you stay frozen in place. You both stay like that, just breathing, giving time for reality to go back on its feet. Hyunjin leans back, his lips now a bright red.
“Fuck. Sorry,” he mutters. “I made a mess.”
“It’s all right,” you tell him softly.
You keep your voices low like someone could hear you. Hyunjin steps back, watching as his cum slides down your inner thigh. He blushes violently, and you open your mouth to reassure him - but suddenly you have no idea what to say.
“I’ll get you a towel. Hold on.”
He puts his cock back inside his boxers and walks away, zipping up his jeans. You stay like that, feeling silly and cold. What the fuck just happened? You know what happened. You and Hyunjin just fucked like horny teenagers in a corner of the book café - no conversation, no protection. You’re not that worried about the latter part, you take the pill and you’ll get the necessary precautions, but it’s the fact that you have no idea what it means. Where it came from. It was so sudden, so passionate, so intense. Not that you need to define sex before you have it like it’s a contract with clauses, but it happened so quickly you’re dizzy and feel a little sick.
You are drunk. That explains things.
You are drunk and so attracted to Hyunjin he must have felt it. Not that he took advantage of you. But did he like you? Or was it just a spur of the moment thing? What did he say again? This can’t be real. Your mind spins into nothingness, your thoughts a tangled mess.
Hyunjin reappears with a towel he soaked in warm water, and he hands it to you. You thank him with a smile, and seeing your hesitation, he steps away as you clean yourself up. Once your jeans are buttoned again, you tap his shoulder.
“Thank you.”
“Sure.”
He looks more beautiful than ever, but you can’t look at him.
He can’t look at you.
Fuck.
“I should head home,” you whisper.
Hyunjin nods, his face hidden behind strands of ruffled hair. Hair the color of carefully made coffee. His eyes, too. Only his lips are the color of the sweetest cherries.
“Of course, yeah. I should - I should do the same, yeah.”
You both gather your things in silence, the tension almost unbearable. You feel like crying, and you know you should say something before it is too late, but you can’t gather the words, you can’t put them in the right order, and then you’re standing next to the door and you have to say goodbye.
“Goodnight,” you say.
You gather the courage to look at him, but he’s not looking at you. He’s staring at his hands, at his shoes, at the floor. Anything but you.
“Goodnight,” he answers.
You step outside. The day has grown terribly, terribly cold.
Tumblr media
The café will be closed today. Hyunjin made his decision hours ago. If anyone asks, it is for personal reasons. He does not want to see anyone today.
It’s a boyish reaction but he does not care.
He barely got any sleep, turning in his bed staring at the snow outside his window. He keeps wondering how you feel. What you think. If you got some sleep, or if you were like him, ripped open at the seams, waiting for a coup de grâce that would not come. When daylight starts to seep through his curtains, Hyunjin texts his employees, takes a long shower, and dresses in a large wool sweater and brown corduroy pants.
He still goes to the café because there is no other place he can go. But he takes a piece of paper, writes a few words on it and places it on the front door. Closed exceptionally for today.
Once that is done, Hyunjin lets out a long, shaky sigh and looks at the café. He opened this place more than five years ago and has worked nearly everyday in it since, but today it feels like an unfamiliar place. The walls, the chairs, the books, they all stare back at him.
His legs take him to the Fiction aisle. It looks as it always does, and yet it’s thoroughly changed. On the ground is a book. Hyunjin picks it up with trembling hands. It’s fallen crooked, and some of the pages are creased. He presses his fingers on them, trying to flatten them out; but they are forever marked.
As he is.
Hyunjin breathes out. He wishes he could remember the passage you read to him. He looks through the book for a few minutes but he cannot, for the life of him, recall what the words were. Idiot.
He closes his eyes. He still hears you breathe, how your voice slightly changed as you got tipsy. He sees the texture of your mint green blouse. Your smile as you took the clients’ orders. He feels your soft skin against his. Your cunt tightening around his cock. Fuck, you came so well. So fiercely. You looked so beautiful doing it, your eyes squinted shut, your lips deliciously parted, begging to be kissed. Hyunjin regrets. And yet he can’t.
He should’ve been more in control. He should have taken the time to tell you what he wants, what he thinks of you. He nearly did, when he gave you the macaron and couldn’t take his eyes off your lips. But he had hesitated, overwhelmed by the past hours in such sudden close proximity with you. And then, when he didn’t hesitate, you kissed him back so eagerly and your body responded to his like you had been waiting for this too. Did you feel it, as he thrust into you, how much he wanted you? How captivating he thought you were, how you occupied his mind, how you were all he saw in this goddamn place and everywhere?
Hyunjin slowly sits on the floor, his back to the wall, the book pressed against his chest.
It was the wine. It was the exhaustion. It made him forget that he wanted, if he ever got the honor to touch you, to make it slow. He wanted to take you somewhere warm and comfortable, to undress you, to worship all the parts of you, to make you come around his mouth, to be both chaste and lewd, to see your smile, to hear you gasp. Instead it had been rushed, messy, and inevitably awkward.
He felt you come. He is sure of it. But what if you didn’t like it? What if the awkwardness turned sour? What if you started to hate him for what happened? What if you never came back here again? That would be the worst of all.
He knows what he should have said. Not people like you, but you. You made this place alive.
Hyunjin breathes out, opens the book in his hands, and starts reading.
He reads it again the next day.
And again the day after that.
Tumblr media
You’re standing in the middle of a snow storm.
It is not Wednesday and it is well past opening hours. Still, foolishly, you stare at the front door of the Evermore, as if you are expecting it to open.
You stand there for a few minutes before you shake your head, letting out a shaky, bitter laugh. What are you waiting for? Why are you here? It’s late. It’s cold. The wind whistles in your ears and the snow will bury you if you do not move. You need to go home.
You turn on your heels and stare up at the night sky. It isn’t dark, but rather a strange sort of milky, off white. A few snowflakes hit your eyes and you blink. You sit down on the pavement, letting your eyes fill with tears.
It’s Wednesday night and you didn’t go to the café this afternoon. Instead you paced your apartment wondering if you should go. In the end you didn’t, terrified of what you might find in Hyunjin’s eyes. You regret it. At least you would have known. Now you can just sit here with an empty chest, wondering if he waited for you, wondering if he missed you, wondering if you ruined everything.
Why didn’t you say something? Why didn’t you try harder?
You shake your head, letting your head fall in your hands. You’re so cold. You forgot to put on a hat and gloves. Your fingers and your ears are bright red. They are slowly freezing. Your heart, too.
“Y/N?”
You lift your head at the sound of Hyunjin’s voice. For a second you stare at the dark, wondering if you just imagined him calling your name. But then you turn your head and see him there, in the café, holding the door open. He seems as shocked to see you as you do him.
“What are you doing here?” you breathe.
You’re sure he won’t hear you above the whistles of the wind, but he does.
“What are you doing here?” he asks.
You stare at each other for a few seconds. Then Hyunjin frowns and waves towards the inside of the café.
“Come in. You’re going to freeze to death.”
You’re not sure it’s a good idea, and half of you is still wondering if he’s really there, but you stand up and follow him. He doesn’t comment on your visible tears, or your messy hair. He just closes the door behind you. It’s suddenly so silent.
“It’s so late, Y/N, what are…”
“I’m sorry,” you mutter, your voice quivering.
Hyunjin looks up at you with wide eyes. There are barely any lights open in the cafe, but the full moon outside is enough for you to see him well.
“It’s Wednesday,” you say. “I wanted to come but I thought, maybe, you wouldn’t want to see me.”
Hyunjin clenches his jaw, shakes his head. “Why wouldn’t I?”
“Because…” You hesitate. “Because of what happened.”
He looks up at you, prudently, and you stare into his eyes, trying to find an answer in them. He makes it difficult, or maybe it’s just your fear blurring the lines for you. Your lips are trembling, and as your fingers slowly warm up, they burn.
“You’re shivering,” Hyunijn winces. “Let’s warm you up first. Take off your coat.”
You nod, following him into the café, away from the cold windows. You leave your coat and boots near the entrance, and Hyunjin hands you a blanket to wrap yourself in. He disappears behind the counter, pouring water in a kettle, and you snuggle on an armchair. Hyunjin keeps his back to you as he prepares a cup of tea, only reappearing a few minutes later.
“Careful,” he warns you softly, settling the steaming mug on the table next to you. “Don’t burn your tongue.”
“Thanks.”
He turns away from you, and on an impulse, you grab the hem of his shirt. It’s a striped sweater vest, beige and navy, worn above a tight long-sleeve, and it feels soft against your fingers.
“Hyunjin,” you whisper. “Can we talk?”
He looks down at your hand. It takes a few seconds, but he smiles.
“Of course we can. Just give me a second.”
You nod, letting him go. He disappears for another minute - when he comes back, he’s holding a mug for himself and a lit candle. He puts it close to you. It smells like pinewood, and makes you feel like you’re standing in the middle of a forest.
“I was reading,” he says, sitting down on a chair in front of you. “That’s what I was doing. I lost track of time, it seems.”
You nod timidly. “I know what that’s like.”
A sinking feeling settles in your stomach again. You can’t look at each other. You tell yourself it’s your only chance - you have to know where Hyunjin stands. So you take a deep breath and look up.
As if he read your mind, he looks up too.
Your eyes meet. They stay there.
“I wanted you to,” he says softly. “Of course I wanted you to come.”
Your heart contracts in your chest.
“When you didn’t, I… I thought…” He stumbles on his words. “All I mean is, it’s okay if the other night didn’t mean anything for you.”
It’s sudden, and Hyunjin himself seems surprised by the words that just escaped his mouth, as his eyes slightly widen in panic.
“What I mean is -”
“It does,” you interrupt him.
He frowns, and you take a deep breath.
“It does mean something,” you explain, doing your best to hold up his gaze. “I don’t know what exactly, but it does mean something.”
You stare at him.
“You just confuse me. Because I feel… all those things, and they’re so strong, and I feel… I don’t even know,” you sigh.
He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. You notice that his hands are grabbing the handles of the armchair tightly. His next words are measured, careful.
“Y/N,” he breathes. “Can I please have a second chance?”
It is so silent around you that you can hear your own heart beating. You can hear Hyunjin breathing. It’s a sweet, gentle sound.
“Let me make it right,” he breathes, springing up from his seat to kneel next to you.
He looks at you with wide, shimmering eyes. His beautiful lips are searching for the right words, with no avail. You extend a shivering hand, cupping his cheek nervously. He leans against it.
“I’ve been craving you all week,” you whisper.
He opens his eyes, and you move from your position to kneel on the carpet next to him, the blanket forgotten behind you. You are not as cold anymore, your body warming in anticipation and desire.
Your fingers trace Hyunijn’s jaw line, and he gently takes your face in his hands, caressing your skin.
“Can I kiss you?”
You nod, closing your eyes as he leans in.
It’s an entirely different kiss. It’s careful, delicate. You drift against him, falling in his arms - but your movements are slow, deliberate. He deepens the kiss as you tilt your head to the right, exploring the plumpness of his lips. You stay like that for an immeasurable amount of time, kissing and softly embracing each other, until you are out of breath and your lips feel raw. Then Hyunjin, putting a gentle hand against your neck, leans it backwards and starts to leave a trail of kisses down your jaw. His tongue swirls against the skin of your neck, all the way to your collarbones, and you arch against his caresses.
You undress each other slowly. You take in the sight of his chiseled chest and smooth skin, which almost seems to glow in the light of the candle.  He spends a long time kissing your breasts, brushing his nose against your skin. You let out soft whimpers, your fingers tangling his chocolate hair, teasing his ears, stroking his neck.
“Your skin is so cold,” he breathes, placing kisses against your arms, your fingers.
His hands, sprawled on your stomach and hips, feel so incredibly warm.
“I don’t feel cold,” you tell him with a smile.
He smiles back, moving back on top of you to kiss you. You take the opportunity to unbutton his jeans and push them down, cupping his already hard cock in your hand. Hyunjin twitches slightly, letting out a nervous laugh against your mouth.
“Sorry,” he whispers. “You’re just… You make me go crazy, Y/N. You’re so fucking beautiful.”
“So are you, Hyunjin,” you say, placing kisses on his lower lip, on his neck, on his shoulder. “When I’m here I can’t stop looking at you. When I’m not I can’t stop thinking about you.”
“Fuck, right back at you,” he laughs, opening his eyes to look at you.
He brushes a few strands of hair away from your face, smiling tenderly.
“You never noticed?” he asks you. “Me staring at you?”
You shrug, playing with his hair. He looks so handsome, on top of you like that, the silver chain around his neck hanging loosely.
“I guess I did sometimes. I just thought you found me weird. Like that day with the ice cubes…”
His cock twitches in your hand and he chuckles embarrassingly.
“Oh God, don’t talk about that day.”
You don’t know what to say, but he smiles at you, his eyes a little darker.
“You made me so fucking horny that day I had to jerk off in the bathroom,” he explains, his voice hoarse. “I wanted to lick all that water off your body so bad…”
It’s your turn to clench, and you bite your lip a little too violently.
“You’re fucking with me,” you say, shaking your head.
“I’m not,” he answers, leaning in to kiss your neck again. “I think about that day all the time. Imagining how sweet you taste.”
His mouth goes up to your earlobe, which he takes in his mouth, sucking it in, and you let out an audible moan, pressing your thighs together and squeezing his cock in your hand at the same time.
He hums, and stands back up to take off his jeans for good; he then removes your pants. Hyunjin immediately descends towards your legs, warming your thighs with his wide hands, and he slowly takes off your panties, discarding them with the rest of your clothes.
You lay under him, completely naked, feeling safe. Hyunjin removes his boxers, and you see the full beauty of him, the angles of his hips, the curve of his cock. You take in the sight, and he does the same. Certainly your eyes must be as dizzy as his are. He tugs at his cock, biting his lip, and smiles at you.
“Spread for me, beautiful.”
You oblige, your pussy twitching as he stares down at you, his face contorted with lust. Hyunjin moves, settling his head between your legs. Your heartbeat accelerates as he kisses the insides of your thighs, slowly leading to your cunt. When he puts his plush lips against you, his tongue pressing against your wet folds, you gasp, your hips thrusting at the touch.
“Hyunjin…” you cry out.
He drinks you in, his tongue plunged into you. His caresses are attentive, and you’re never had someone eat you out this way before. It’s so measured and careful and yet so fervent, almost pious despite the sinfulness of the sound he makes against your cunt. It feels like he’s barely breathing, and you feel your entire body tense as he curls his tongue against your clit, teases your entrance, scoops your folds with his full lips.
You grip the carpet, you shudder, and your orgasm is almost overwhelming. A loud moan escapes your mouth, and your legs shake, almost trapping him between them. When your body relaxes, and your thoughts wander away, you feel Hyunjin leaving kisses on your still trembling thighs. You open your eyes with difficulty, and discern him through the fog. He meets your gaze and smiles, his chin and lips coated in you.
“Kiss me,” you plead, pulling him closer to you.
His lips taste of you, of course, but it’s the feeling of his hardness against your still sensitive cunt that sends a shiver across your body. You’re barely recovering from your orgasm, trying to steady your breathing. Hyunjin strokes your hair.
“I hope that was better,” he whispers.
“Better?” you ask with a frown.
“Than last time.”
“Hyunjin…” you say softly.
You open your eyes, taking his face in your hands so he looks at you, too. His hair is a mess, his lips swollen.
“Last time was amazing,” you tell him. “It was quick, but it was good.”
“It was?” he frowns. “I just thought…”
“I mean, it was for me,” you admit. “It was just another kind of sex, but I loved it. Didn’t you?”
“Of course I did,” he says, kissing you softly. “I was just worried I ruined it by acting like a horny teenager.”
“We both acted like horny teenagers,” you chuckle. “It’s okay. I got scared too. I guess it just… made us crave for more.”
He nods, smiling at you.
“Like I haven’t wanted to drown in that pussy for months.”
“Hyunjin!” you cry out with a laugh.
He chuckles, and you feel recovered enough, so you sit up slightly, pushing his chest forward.
“Which makes me think,” you smirk. “There’s also something I’ve wanted to do for months. Sit down.”
You guide him towards the armchair, where he takes a seat, staring at you intently. It’s like he doesn’t want to waste a second looking at something else, and you kneel between his legs, leaning forward to kiss his chest.
His cock doesn’t really need your hand to stand on its own, but you still hold it, your fingers gently stroking its base.
“You don’t have to -”
“I want to,” you tell him. “Don’t you?”
“Is it too intense to say I’ve dreamt about this before?”
You blush a little and place a kiss on the tip of his cock.
“No. I like it.”
Hyunjin smirks, gathering your hair between his long fingers to hold it back from your face. You place your other hand on his thigh, and take him in your mouth. You go as low as you can, swirling your tongue around the length at the same time. As you go back up, you hollow your cheeks a little.
Hyunjin lets out a deep groan, his head falling backwards on the armchair. As you keep bobbing your head around his cock, spit and precum making the act a little sloppy, you look up at him. You could draw each vein in his muscled neck from here. It sends a shiver down to your cunt, and you just have to touch yourself, putting pressure against your swollen clit.
You listen to his breathing, loving how his fingers sometimes pull at your hair a little as he tenses. He bucks his hips sometimes, making you take him deeper in your mouth. You don’t mind - you do your best. He’s making such lewd sounds, moaning your name, and perhaps you’re liking this a little too much.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck,” he hisses as you accelerate your movements. “Stop, stop, please.”
You remove him from between your lips, and he lets out a chuckle. He looks like he can barely keep his eyes open, his forehead covered in a thin layer of sweat.
“I just - you’re going to make me come, and I want to make this last.”
You place a gentle kiss on his cock. “But I like doing this,” you pout.
Hyunjin lets out a low laugh, placing a finger under your chin to lift your face towards his. He gives you a slow kiss, his tongue toying with yours.
“Don’t think I didn’t notice you touching yourself there,” he whispers. “The sight alone could make me blow on the spot.”
“Then I won’t do it again,” you tease.
“I’ll never forgive you if you don’t,” he retorts with a smirk.
He plunges his lips against yours, moving back on the carpet next to you. His warm, long fingers cup your ass, and then slide against your wet folds before he applies sweet pressure. You gasp around his lips, rolling your hips to reach for more. Hyunjin smiles but does not say a thing - he just keeps going, and then pushes two of his fingers inside of you.
“Yes,” you moan, feeling him stretch you.
“So warm,” he whispers. “So tight for me. Fuck, so beautiful.”
“Give me more of you, please,” you breathe.
He starts to fuck you with his fingers, adding another after a few seconds, and you shudder against him. He reaches deep inside of you, and while it’s a delightful sensation, you still want more.
“No,” you whisper. “I want you inside of me.”
He nods, removing his fingers, licking them clean around his tongue. He accompanies you as you lay down against the carpet, a hand against your back. You keep your eyes in his, kept there by an invisible pull, as the tip of his cock brushes against your cunt. You sigh, your hands reaching for him, pushing your fingers in his soft hair.
Hyunjin enters you with a shuddering moan, and he does not stop until he reaches the furthest he can go. Your eyes roll to the back of your head and you let out a soft cry. He feels so good inside of you, both lean and hard.
“My beauty,” he whispers in your ear. “Feels so good around me. I’m gonna go slow, I need to feel every inch of you.”
His thrusts are so slow at first it feels like torture of the sweetest kind. You keep arching your back, begging for more, but at the same time it feels so good, so intimate, you can only enjoy every second. Hyunjin fucks you like he’s writing lines of poetry, like he’s making coffee one drip at a time, like he traces intricate patterns in foamy cream.
“I think you were made for me,” he groans. “Or rather, I was made for you.”
You shudder at his words. “Don’t let me go, please. Not ever.”
He keeps whispering things in your ear, things that make sense, things that don’t, and you let him know how he makes you feel, how a part of you lives in him, in this place that is him. Your voices belong to the both of you, to none of the rest.
After a while his thrusts gain in intensity, and you sit up slightly so that you face him, almost sitting on the carpet with him inside of you. The new position allows him to reach new depth, and the feeling of his cock throbbing inside of you, begging to come undone, sends you into a second orgasm. He growls as you clench, shaking his head, sweat pearling on his lips, and you kiss them again and again. You’re lost in pleasure, Hyunjin dancing into you.
He comes not long after, holding you close to him, your forehead against his. You wish you could bottle up every sound he makes, every single breath that escapes his lips, keep it for later. You just listen to them, their memories safely kept in your very heartbeat.
“I love you,” Hyunjin whispers.
It comes out of nowhere and it doesn’t - it really doesn’t.
You smile, grazing your nose against his.
“I love you, too.”
Tumblr media
“Hyunjin.”
He blinks at the sound of his name, turning towards Jeongin, who is smiling politely at him.
“Your friend’s here.”
He nods towards the other end of the counter where Seungmin stands, giving him a wave. Hyunjin smiles back, lifting a finger to tell his friend he’ll be there in a minute. Seungmin nods back and heads towards the tables, taking a seat.
Hyunjin prepares two cups of coffee, then takes off his apron and meets Seungmin at the table.
“Thanks for coming, man,” Hyunjin says, taking a seat with a sigh. “I know the café isn’t exactly in your way.”
“That’s fine,” Seungmin answers. “I get free coffee, don’t I?”
“That’s true,” Hyunjin smiles.
“But you work too much, man. You’re here almost every day.”
Hyunjin nods - everyone says that to him all the time. He’s aware of it. But his whole life is the café. He would be nothing without it, and there’s rarely a day he actually forces himself to come to work.
“What can I tell you?” he sighs with a shrug. “I like it.”
Seungmin shakes his head. “I like my job, too, but everyone needs a few days off. Don’t forget there’s a world out there.”
“You sound like you’re going to tell me I need to broaden my horizons, live a little, get laid.”
Seungmin scoffs, taking a sip of coffee. “Well, you do.”
“Next you’ll tell me you know someone I’d like, and you can introduce us?”
“Well…”
“Seungmin,” Hyunjin chuckles.
The latter laughs, putting down his cup and crossing a leg over the other. He looks relaxed, almost detached, but Hyunjin knows him well enough. Seungmin always cares. Hyunjin bites his lip, tapping a finger on his leg. Then, he leans forward, his elbows on the table, and smiles at his friend.
“She’s back.”
“Who?”
“Y’know.”
Understanding flashes in Seungmin’s eyes. “Ice cube girl?”
“Hm.”
Hyunjin told Seungmin about you one drunken night. The two friends were inside a pub, hidden away in a booth, exchanging stories. Seungmin, who had just recently started going out with his girlfriend, started talking about sex. So Hyunjin told him about the sexiest thing he had ever seen. You, with the ice cubes.
“Oh.” Seungmin grins, looking around. “Does she still come every week?”
“Yeah.”
“I think she has a crush on you, man.”
Hyunjin smirks. “I think so, too.”
He can’t help it - he glances at you, who is sitting at your usual table. You’re sipping a simple black coffee, half of an espresso macaron still on your plate. You’re wearing Hyunjin’s favorite sweater, the apricot colored one.
He chose it himself from your closet this morning. Seungmin follows his gaze, and as you feel the two pairs of eyes on you, you lift your head and smile at them. Seungmin waves back, inviting you to join them. You do, Hyunjin holding your hand tightly in his own.
Outside the snow melts under a clear sun, giving way to a hopeful spring.

The sun hung low in the sky as the Leclerc family prepared for their much-anticipated summer vacation in France. Yn, Charles, Arthur, and Lorenzo packed their bags, excitement bubbling within them. The air was filled with a contagious energy, heightened by the prospect of spending quality time together in the picturesque French coast.
"Joris, hurry up! We're going to leave you behind," Yn called out from the doorway of her room, a playful grin on her face.
Joris appeared in the hallway, a mischievous twinkle in his eyes. "Patience, mon amour. I just want to make sure I've got everything," he replied, his words dripping with a hint of French charm.
Charles chuckled, slinging an arm around his sister's shoulders. "At least someone has the right idea. We can't afford to forget anything when we're traveling with this bunch."
Downstairs, the Leclerc family gathered in the foyer, ready to embark on their escapade. Arthur, the youngest of the siblings, was already by the door, sporting a wide grin. "Are we leaving yet?"
Their father, Hervé, laughed. "Almost, Arthur. Just waiting for your mother and Lorenzo."
As if on cue, Lorenzo descended the staircase, his eyes scanning the room. "All set, Lorenzo?" their mother, Pascale, asked.
He nodded, his gaze drifting to Yn. "Ready for a summer to remember?"
Yn rolled her eyes playfully. "Please, as if any summer could top this one."
The Leclercs made their way to the waiting cars, joined by their friends and their families. Joris and his family, Riccardo's family, Martha and her parents—everyone had eagerly agreed to join in on the adventure. The air was filled with chatter as they set off, the promise of an unforgettable vacation lingering in the warm breeze.
In the car, Yn and Joris shared a quiet moment. She grinned at him, her eyes sparkling. "I can't believe we're finally going on vacation together."
Joris leaned in, brushing his lips against hers. "Je suis ravi d'être ici avec toi (I'm delighted to be here with you)."
Yn giggled, the language of love a sweet melody between them " You are so cheesy."
He winked. "Guilty as charged."
Yn, stealing a glance at Joris, whispered, "Tu sais que je t'aime, n'est-ce pas?" (You know I love you, right?)
Joris smiled warmly, "Oui, et moi aussi, je t'aime." (Yes, and I love you too.)
"Ce sera une aventure incroyable, n'est-ce pas, Charles?" Yn whispered to her brother, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. (It will be an incredible adventure, won't it, Charles?)
"Absolument, Yn. I can't wait to explore Cote d'Azur with everyone," Charles replied, a wide grin on his face.
Once in the car, Charles leaned over to Yn, a mischievous glint in his eye. "This is going to be epic. Just wait until you see the places I've planned for us to visit."
The convoy of cars, filled with laughter and excited chatter, made its way along the winding roads leading to the beautiful picturesque villa that would be their home for the next few weeks. Yn, sitting beside her twin brother Charles, couldn't contain her excitement as they approached their destination.
The villa, nestled amidst rolling hills and surrounded by vineyards, welcomed the group with open arms. The Leclercs, along with their friends, settled into the spacious rooms, each decorated with a touch of elegance.
"Hey, Pierre! Tu es prêt pour des vacances épiques?" Arthur greeted, embracing one of his brother 's best friend Pierre Gasly.
"Absolument, mon pote! These holidays are going to be legendary!" Pierre replied, a glint of excitement in his eyes.
As the sun began its descent, the group gathered on the terrace for a feast prepared by the villa's chef. The aroma of very appetizing food filled the air, making everyone's stomachs rumble in anticipation.
Yn and Joris found themselves seated next to each other, their fingers intertwined under the table as they exchanged affectionate glances. The language of love flowed effortlessly between them, a secret shared amidst the lively conversations.
"Tu es magnifique ce soir, Yn," Joris whispered to Yn, his eyes filled with admiration. (You look beautiful tonight, Yn.)
"Merci, Joris. Tu n'es pas mal non plus," Yn replied, a playful smile gracing her lips. (Thank you, Joris. You're not too shabby yourself)
"Demain, nous devrions tous aller explorer le village voisin. Qu'en pensez-vous?" Lorenzo suggested, the excitement evident in his voice. (Tomorrow, we should all go explore the nearby village. What do you think?)
"Oui, ça semble génial!" Martha exclaimed, her eyes shining with enthusiasm. (Yes, that sounds amazing!)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The next day, the group decided to explore the town and go to the beach, the group spread out on the beach, some opting for sunbathing, others building sandcastles, and the Gasly brothers challenging each other to beach volleyball. Yn and Joris decided to take a leisurely stroll along the water's edge.
After their beach escapade, the group ventured into the heart of Cagnes-sur-Mer. They explored the bustling markets, quaint shops, and iconic landmarks, capturing the moments with laughter and photographs.
"Regardez ce magnifique endroit! On dirait un rêve," Martha exclaimed, snapping pictures of the panoramic view. (Look at this magnificent place! It feels like a dream.)
As they strolled through the cobblestone streets, Arthur excitedly pointed at an ice cream shop. "On devrait tous prendre une glace, non?" (We should all get ice cream, right?)
Lorenzo chuckled, ruffling Arthur's hair. "Bonne idée, petit frère"
As they strolled along the picturesque streets, Yn walked hand in hand with Joris, their fingers intertwined. The connection between them was palpable, a testament to the love that had blossomed since they were 12 or 13. Their shared glances spoke a language of their own, a secret understood by everyone around.
The group arrived at a vibrant ice cream shop and créperie, the tantalizing aroma of freshly made crepes and the promise of sweet delights greeted them.
Yn turned to Joris with a mischievous grin. "Qu'est-ce que tu vas prendre, mon amour? (What are you going to have, my love?)"
Joris chuckled, "Je pense que je vais prendre une crêpe au Nutella. (I think I'll have a Nutella crepe)"
After the group had ordered their  ice cream, enjoying the cool treat as they strolled towards the city.  Yn's eyes sparkled as she savored the sweet taste of hazelnut gelato, her favorite. The sound of waves crashing against the shore mingled with the laughter and chatter of the friends and family.
"Tu devrais essayer celui-ci, c'est incroyable," she nudged Joris, offering him a spoonful of her chosen flavor. (You should try this one; it's amazing.)
Joris chuckled, accepting the offer. "C'est vraiment délicieux!" (It's really delicious!)
Martha, one of Yn's closest friends, elbowed her, teasing, "Vous deux, c'est l'amour fou!" (You two are madly in love!)
Joris grinned, "L'amour rend tout plus beau!" (Love makes everything more beautiful!)
After the creperie, they meandered through souvenir shops, collecting trinkets to commemorate their trip. Yn couldn't resist a soft giggle as Joris playfully picked out a matching keychain. The laughter of the teenagers echoed through the air, blending with the joyous atmosphere of the coastal town.
"Regardez ces deux-là, toujours assortis!" (Look at these two, always matching!) teased Martha, a mischievous grin on her face. The group erupted into laughter, gently poking fun at the inseparable couple.
"Vous êtes vraiment mignons, vous deux!" (You two are really cute!) Lorenzo teased.
The girls, including Yn, took a detour to explore boutiques, finding summery clothes to add to their wardrobes. Yn's infectious joy radiated as she twirled in a vibrant sundress, eliciting approving nods from the group.
As they continued their adventure, they visited iconic tourist spots like the Renoir Museum and the Medieval village Haut-de-Cagnes, snapping photos along the way. The group playfully teased Yn and Joris, capturing candid moments of their affection.
"Les tourtereaux!" (The lovebirds!) Jacques exclaimed, causing Yn to blush.
Yn rolled her eyes playfully, "Arrêtez de vous moquer de nous!" (Stop teasing us!)
"Regardez cette vue magnifique! (Look at this magnificent view!)" exclaimed Charles, gesturing towards the azure waters of the Ligurian Sea.
"Vraiment incroyable!" replied Yn, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
As the sun began to set, the teenagers returned to the beach, gathering for a group photo.
As they reached the sun-kissed beach, the group found a spot to relax. Yn and Joris, their fingers entwined, watched the azure waves together. Lorenzo, looking at them with a smirk, teased, "L'amour est dans l'air, n'est-ce pas?" (Love is in the air, isn't it?)
"Vous deux, toujours dans votre petit monde d'amour." (You two, always in your little world of love.) Pierre nudges both the teenagers with a grin on his face.
"Et pourquoi pas? L'amour est magnifique, n'est-ce pas?" (And why not? Love is beautiful, isn't it?) Joris says, pulling Yn closer to him.
The group spent the afternoon soaking up the sun, splashing in the crystal-clear waters, and taking pictures against the breathtaking backdrop. Yn and Joris, with gelato in hand, posed for a photo, the joy evident in their eyes.
The camera clicked, freezing the moment in time—Yn, Joris, the Leclercs, Gaslys, and their friends—bound by the magic of a summer escape on the enchanting Blue Coast of France.

Down by the river (Arthur Leclerc smut)
Tumblr media
my first smut, so don't expect much
WARNINGS - 18+, sexual content
Summary - You are enjoying a little camping trip with the Leclerc family when Arthurs desire for you takes the lead. (Based on a request. Keep them coming! )
Its been an interesting few weeks for you two. Arthur had settled into a good rythm in his rookie f2 season and was picking up regular podiums by the summer break. On the other hand you had been pretty busy handeling Charles tough season since you were his manager and the both of you had been pretty dissapointed by the year so far.
Thankfully the summer break came and since you were in two relationships with the Leclercs (a business partnership and a love relationship) you had decided to go on a nice camping trip through Italy with Charles, his parents and, of course, your boyfriend Arthur. The two of you had been together for quite a while now but this was your first vacation as a couple and you wanted it to become a special one.
Since you were nearing your first anniversary you wanted to surprise Arthur with a romantic picknick at the river where you stayed for the night. You had prepared everything, a nice plate of meat, some cheese, bread and a bottle of fine wine, of course.
When Arthur and Charles returned from a city trip as the sun set down you quickly pulled the younger brother away and let him to your romantic spot. "Happy anniversary, mon cherie", you said as you gave him a long, passionate kiss. "This is great, mon amour", Arthur answered as the two of you sat down and grabbed something to eat.
It was a fun evening and as the moon woke up in the night, Charles and his parents had went to bed, leaving only you and Arthur awake, still enjoying your wine.
"You know, this was the best first anniversary we ever had", he said slightly drunk.
You noticed how he had become more touchy as the evening progressed and the buttons on his shirt had become less with any glass.
He grabbed your hand and gave you a short kiss. "Let's make this night unforgettable, mon amour"
"But Arthur, your parents...your brother..."
He didnt care about them anymore, his only interest lay in you and you only that night.
He quickly got rid of your top before undressing his shirt, exposing his muscular body to the shimmering moonlight. He started touching your breasts very softly. A little, loudless moan escaped your lips but you needed to be quiet.
Arthur didn't hesitate to undress you and himself completely. By the time he had freed his large member from his underwear you couldn't wait any longer to get him inside you.
"Please, Arthur...", you moaned softly into his ear.
He entered you slowly, his beautiful cock filling you up completely as he git used to a passionate, slow rythm.
You wanted to moan as loud as you could but then you remembered Charles in his tent and you started to get pleased quietly.
"Ah, mon cherie. I'm gonna cum", Arthur whispered after a few minutes as you also came close to your release. After a few more thrust you began to shake due to the pleasure you filled as Arthur filled you up with his milky seed. He quickly pressed his hand on your mouth when you came so you didn't wake up anyone.
He pulled out of you soon, still breathing heavily. "I love you, mon amour", he said as you cuddled up under a blanket, still watching the beautiful moonlight.

Maroon
Nanami Kento x Reader
(Song: Maroon by Taylor Swift)
Warning: Smut; not for minors. (This is my first time posting a smut rated story).
He remembered that night so clearly, as if it was yesterday. Being at the bar, drinking with his friends for a quick vacation.
“Check her out!” Gojo exclaimed for the fifth time. Nanami turned to his direction.
He remembered your white, flowy dress that stopped mid-thigh. The maroon lipstick that fit perfect on your skin. You were laughing with a bunch of friends. You went to his direction of the bar. They walked past Gojo, Geto, and Haibara. You were next to him, ordering a drink. Your friends ordered sweet, mixed drinks.
“Moscow mule please!” you ordered excitedly.
“No bourbon?” one questioned.
“Dylan made this last weekend and I’m obsessed at the moment,” you said.
“Oh my gosh! Did he ask you out?” You nodded. “AND?!”
“I said no,” you said. Nanami smiled as he took a drink of his whiskey on the rocks.
“WHY?!”
“He’s just a good friend,” you said nonchalantly and thanked the bartender. “Please, he’s so immature. The man goes from girl to girl. I’m not that kind of girl. I know who I want.”
“He’s just so cute!” You laughed. Your laughter that sounds like music to his ears.
“I’ll agree to that,” you said and took a sip of your drink. “Cheers to graduating!”
“Cheers!!”
Your group stayed by him. You quickly finished your drink, and ordered another.
“Make that two,” Nanami said as he handed the bartender his card. You looked at him with a smile.
“Thank you,” you said. Nanami smiled a small smile back. The drinks arrived immediately and Nanami handed you your glass. He raised a glass up for you and you followed the movements.
“Cheers,” he said. You felt yourself blush.
“Cheers,” you said back and clinked glasses with him before the both of you took a sip of your drinks.
It was pouring rain. You spun around in a circle, taking in the cool feeling of the water mixed with the hot temperature of the summer.
“Kento, dance with me!” you exclaimed, fairly tipsy from your drinks. Nanami chuckled and held your hands. He brought you closer to him and the two of you slowed dance outside. You smiled, resting your head on his chest. His heart fluttered and he couldn’t help but smile.
“Come on,” he said. “We should dry up.” You nodded. “Follow me.” And you did. The two of you took a taxi. You couldn’t help but hold Nanami’s hand throughout the car ride. Nanami looked at you with a soft smile appearing on his face. And you couldn’t help but blush.
The taxi stopped at a hotel, you noticed. Nanami held your hand as you left the vehicle and he held your hand, leading you to the elevators, and then up to his suite.
“You’re not from here,” you said. You thanked Nanami when he handed you a towel. Nanami buttoned his shirt and undid his tie, remaining topless as he dried his body. You blushed hard.
“Tokyo, Japan,” he said. “I left a robe in the bathroom for you. You can shower if you’d like.”
“Kento, are you a spontaneous person?” you asked. Nanami chuckled at your sudden question.
“Not usually,” he said.
“You’re not from here nor am I from this city,” you said. “Shower with me. Let’s make our night unforgettable.” You walked up closer to Nanami as you spoke. Nanami was flustered and you smiled. Your hand rested on the back of his neck as you slightly pushed his head down so his lips met with yours.
There was immediate heat and passion in the kiss. It didn’t take long for the two of you to strip naked before showering together. Your back was up against the cold tiled walls, hands on his shoulders, and your leg hanging on his arm while he teased you. You whimpered at his tease, the tip of his cock rubbing against your sensitive clit and poking at your entrance.
“How badly do you want me, doll?” he whispered seductively in your ear.
“So fucking bad,” you begged. “Fuck me, please Kento.” He locked his lips with yours as he inserted himself inside. Te two of you moaned loudly in the kiss.
“T-Tight,” Nanami muttered with pleasure. With his free arm, he held your hip securely as he thrusted in and out of you. At first it was slow and steady. But the pleasure of your warm and tight walls drove him crazy that he trusted you hard and fast.
“Right there,” you cried in ecstasy as he hit your sensitive spot. You held onto his shoulders tightly, your nails digging into his skin.
“Cum for me, doll,” he said breathlessly. “Fuck, you’re so tight.”
“Kento!” Your toes curled and your nails scratched his back. The orgasm was close and Nanami is doing a good job to make sure you got it. He would groan in pleasure, feeling your walls hug tightly against his cock while thrusting in and out of you. Your eyes rolled back as you moaned relentlessly when you came all over his cock. Nanami kept thrusting you, riding out your high. He held you tightly as he kissed you.
Nanami turned the shower off. He pulled out a dry towel, helping you dry your body before he did himself. While he did, you dried your hair. But he suddenly carried you out, causing you to drop your towel in the shower as he whisked you off to the bed. He gently laid you down, kissing you passionately. His cock hardening as he teased your entrance again.
“My turn, doll,” he said as he inserted inside your wet pussy again.
Nanami put the newspaper down, deciding to go to the city and surveillance the area. The memory stayed fresh in his mind three months later. He remembered quickly buying you clothes the next morning. He took you out for breakfast and you took him to Central Park for his last day. And he was glad he could end his last night with you in bed.
Communication was scarce. You claimed that you still had to study and the time difference made it difficult to hold conversations. There was no plan to meet up again nor to further anything in this relationship, or whatever the two of you were.
Nanami stopped by at his favorite bakery. He was craving some bread after all. And he needs something to fill his stomach, in case a mission pops up. He thanked the cashier, tipping her a few extra cash that made her thank him happily. Nanami opened the door, taking a bite of the freshly baked bread he just purchased.
“Kento!”
His heart stopped and his body froze. He would never forget the voice. Your voice was angelic and it warmed him. He would feel so relaxed at the sound. But, he wondered if it was just his imagination.
“K-Kento?” And so, he turned around. He dropped the bread in the bag. There you were in the same white dress and maroon lipstick. Just like you wore three months ago. He said your name and you smiled brightly at him. You ran to him and hugged him tightly. Nanami slowly enveloped you in his arms and when he finally realized you were actually here, he held you tighter.
“Are you on vacation?” he asked. You shook your head, smile wider than ever.
“I just moved in,” you answered. “It was a process, especially with the job.”
“W-Why?” He was surprised. Surprised that you would move here. He remembered you talking about moving to New York City or at least close by. He watched you blush.
“Because I can’t stop thinking about you,” you said. “It was risky to move here, yet I did it.” Nanami couldn’t hold himself back as he kissed you passionately. Your lipstick smeared and appeared on his lips.
When he pulled away, you had to reconnect your lips with him again. The feeling of his lips faintly remained on yours within the three months. You craved for him everyday. And because the thought of him stuck to you, you took the impulsive decision to move.
Reluctantly, the two of you pulled away and you giggled, wiping the lipstick off his lips.
“Come on. It’s my turn now to show you my city,” he said as his thumb cleaned up the lipstick smear on your face. Immediately, you intertwined your fingers with his. You wrapped your arm around his arm, standing close to him. Nanami smiled, leading you back to the bakery because it is his favorite bakery in the city.

Have a nice day/good night;)
Tumblr media
fic: stars behind waves
pairing: jungkook x reader warnings: kissing, suggestive, his wandering hands and crude mouth lol, this is literally one of the softest couple i have and i love them so much, mention of fear of heights, oc is scared of a river :'), jealousy <3 pure fluff and bliss and love!! wc: 3.1k lol a/n: thank you for the request!! definitely one of my fav fics 🥺 i don't think i will be able to write an epilogue :( but rest assured, they're the happiest they can be. also, i really kinda love this lil drabble, so if you do, too, lmk hehe <3 a/n 2: i just found this in my drafts from when we were playing the amc game a couple months ago lol. hope you enjoy. is also unedited, so be gentle with me lmaoo <3
“Maldives.”
“God, no,” you reject, “sounds gorgeous, but. I can't deal with the heat anymore.”
Jungkook clicks his tongue, fatigued from the unproductive day, but agrees, “Okay. Maybe you’re right. We’ve seen our fair share of…”
The last words turn into a mumble, drifting when his attention does. He scrolls on, big eyes glued to the bright screen. He’s been changing tabs for hours now; between travel destinations and booking sites, he’s exhausted himself.
Several three-digit-numbers have burned themselves into your brain from comparing a dozen vacations; planning such a thing is tedious.
You saved money for this. Working your ass off throughout the year, putting extra effort in overtime hours to visit a place you’ve only dreamed of thus far. Jungkook graduated, and you promised you’d steer towards an unforgettable summer.
His shifts at the bookstore were tiring, too. One too many times you called during lunch break just to meet a groggy voice. The late dinners at home transpired similarly quiet, his eyes similarly fatigued.
Then he’d cling onto you at night; he found your warmth solacing. Would tug you in, smack his lips. Yawn against your shoulder before slipping into dreamland, uttering a couple last mumbled “I love you”s and pouty, whiny “Don’t wanna work”s.
Summer couldn’t come faster.
But so couldn’t dinner.
“Maybe we should think about it another time,” you say. “I’m getting hungry.”
Jungkook drops the attached laptop mouse dramatically, shoving it away as he leans back on his chair and declares, “Thank fuck. I’m starving.”
“Should’ve just said something.”
Dinner is relieving to the two of you; having used up all words for today, you eat in peace, each enjoying your meal. Jungkook, reaching for his glass of water, looks up at you once, bowl half empty.
His eyes land above your clavicles, right where the charm dangles. Sparkles. The stars he promised you almost two decades ago. He can’t believe it’s barely been two years since the summer occurred when he found you again.
Time has passed; the two of you reunited with ease.
Spending days and nights together doesn’t come without fights — occasionally, you snap at each other, reminding the other of lonely times, spitting words that soon turn into regret.
But those arguments, as natural as sunlight, pass quickly and give way to comforting words, lips on scarred cheeks, hands over warm bodies.
Even when you were younger, you’d make up softly, comfortably. Would apologise and seek an unknown spot on the island, starving for a distraction. You’d find yet another shell without pearls in it; would try to make things right.
Jungkook remembers one day particularly well; surprising how well it fits this very moment.
Back then you’d hiked up a hill, dizzy in the damp summer heat. You cursed at Jungkook for dragging you along when you’d suggested an effortless, pleasant afternoon at the small market.
Halfway through your journey, you feared you’d gotten lost. You didn’t meet people anymore. The forest grew more tense. You kept your eyes and ears open for snakes or bears or whatever might linger here.
You only felt a sliver of hope when you heard water splashing nearby, hoping it was a lake or the ocean. But what you found instead filled you with far more discomfort.
Not because the river that you found on top wasn’t very narrow or harmless. Neither because it ended in a waterfall that fell for quite a while and then continued the same river, meeting the ocean somewhere.
No, you felt terrified because you knew what Jungkook would want to do.
“Let’s go back,” you immediately blurted.
But he was already on his shit, shaking his head with a twinkle in his dark eyes. You pulled at his tee, ready to turn at your heel and roll down the hill. Jungkook, however, pushed your hand away, freeing himself from your touch.
“No. Let’s cross this.”
You knew it. He was bold and idiotic enough; an adrenaline junkie the way you couldn’t be. Even cliff diving took you a good while to tackle and then longer to get used to. He taught you and kept doing so every year, because you’d enter the island with a newfound fear of heights each time.
“Uhm,” you said, raising your hands in defence, “I do not think so, dude.”
“But loo—”
“No. *No, I—”
You were so close to the edge, though probably not enough for the current to pull you in. Maybe you just hallucinated the proximity, too. Because thinking about it in hindsight, there was probably nowhere that much of a danger for you.
But you still weren’t ready to die yet.
So you ripped your eyes open further, panicking a little when he stepped into the water along with his terrible crocs. You clamoured, voice higher than ever, “What the fuck are you *doing?”
And maybe you would’ve kept your stance and ran away if he didn’t smile back at you like you were nowhere safer than with him. A reassuring grin, secure and certain.
You guess you were already hopelessly in love with him then. Not to mention that you still constantly lost yourself in the kiss you’d shared on your porch this spring. Your very *first kiss…
And you still craved more ever since. Only, Jungkook had never given you more after that.
It didn’t help when he held out a hand, remaining teasing yet sweet with a tilted, crooked smirk. His stance, firm in the water, lured you in although you definitely weren’t one to be risky like this.
But somehow, he could still convince you. Forced a frustrated sigh out of you, pulling you in like a magnetic force as you neared the river. You could see the other side not too far from you, but in your fear, the distance seemed endless.
“C’mon. We got this,” he promised, his voice drowning in the sounds of the current. “If we die, we die together.”
You rolled your eyes. “Shit, you really think you’re poetic.” You climbed over a rock, taking off your shoes, holding them in one hand as the other clutched his fingers tight from the first moment, like a reflex. “You watch too many dramas, gosh.”
He held you in a careful grip. You were smaller then, and his seventeen-year-old body, a strong result of regular gym sessions, withheld the water far better than yours. You, as opposed to him, almost dropped to your knees wading forwards.
You stepped on a somewhat sharp rock under the white waves, but he wouldn’t let you drift away. His attention remained on you. Halfway across, he said, “Here.”
He took your arm and pulled you close, slinging it around his torso, enabling a stronger grip. He was an ass and gentle friend at once — because he scared you on purpose a moment later, acting as though he was slipping.
And just when you yelped once more, watching him squint an eye at the volume, you swore at him thoroughly. You mewled words you hadn’t heard in your voice before, and he laughed, stating, “That reminds me of a school trip.”
“What,” you panted, out of breath, “goddamn school trip.”
“We went to a climbing park, and like… this girl,” he sucked in air through his mouth, tired, too; and you held your breath, “this girl from my class was literally trembling. I— I helped her over a distance until she felt secure. But…”
He groaned, struggling a bit. Or maybe he just acted like he did, you didn’t know. You were more focused than before, that was for sure.
“She was screaming just like you,” he finished.
Suddenly, you weren’t that frightened anymore.
You even forgot that you’d feared death just a moment ago. Your chest burned green.
You asked, “Right. And… and you were holding her like this, too, huh?”
“Kind of.”
“Cool. Co—”
You were out of balance. One blink passed, and you tumbled, immediately digging your nails into his shirt and his skin. His hands saved you as you placed your free fingers onto a stone automatically, one shoe sliding off your fingers.
The river carried it away from you until you couldn’t see it anymore, and you furrowed your eyebrows, mouth wide as you yelled, “No!”
“Forget it, we just need to move!”
“It wasn’t me who fucking suggested this!” you snarled, gritting your teeth.
Your knees shook. You stared ahead — just a couple feet more.
“I got you,” was all he answered, “almost there.”
And when you finally were, you were still cursing, pushing his body away. Under your breath, you murmured a dozen words, and Jungkook, wiping soaked hands at his shorts, couldn’t stop chuckling.
His hair was damp, outrageous when he pushed it back, but it couldn’t distract you this time. Instead, you threw your remaining shoe at him, watching him dodge it with an amused wide grin.
You couldn’t be bothered with his jokes; he was being irritating. There was literally nothing over here. Who knew if there was a way to get off this hill from here at all.
Knees still liquid, you targeted a tree and took a seat underneath it. You caught your breath, observing him as he sniffled and picked up your shoe. You felt empathy for his shorts; he still dragged his hands over them, leaving dark, wet stains.
Then, he dropped down next to you. Nudged your shoulder and said, “Come *on. That was fun.” A beat of a pause as you moved your head to glare at him. Then, “Don’t look at me like that!”
“*You,” you started, face close to his, a finger pointing at his chest, “were almost gonna organise a funeral.”
“Please. Nothing was gonna happen to you.”
“No. Your *own.”
He laughed again. “You’re so cute.”
“Shut up.”
You exhaled. In truth, it hadn’t been that bad. Looking at the river from here, you truly were far enough from the edge, and the water had barely reached your knees. But the thing he said…
You searched for a way to make things less awkward; to not let him know that you were seething with envy. A harmless question came to mind, subtle as you inquired, “Was I at least a little braver than that… classmate?”
He lifted his head in thought, humming.
“Hmm. No.” Your shoulders slumped. How rude. “Hard to judge, though. It took us only a few minutes here, and it took her *hours to cross the climbing park.”
You didn’t tell him that sometimes, you were supposed to take hours. Not everybody was as athletic as him. Hmph.
“You helped her all this time?” you asked.
“Half of it at least.”
You shouldn’t have been jealous. Not bothered by how casual he made it sound, how he nodded… it was all whatever. But also—
“And then?” you dug. “You drove back to school and acted like you hadn’t just bonded?”
“Uhm…” Your heart dropped. Typical first love, typical first frustrating feelings. Your young heart was a lot more feeble. “Something like that.”
But you understood.
“Oh, Jeon…”
“It was just a kiss after lunch, okay. That day, and never again.”
Ah, you hated this. So he could kiss someone else, but not you aga—
No. Stop. What dumb thoughts.
“Okay. Good for you,” you told him, back to your prior tone.
Damn it.
You stared at the abandoned shoe between the two of you.
Shit, how were you gonna go back with one of your initially two Nikes on your feet? He’d have to carry you. At least you put both your socks in the one shoe you didn’t lose…
“Don’t act that way,” Jungkook spoke through your thoughts, patting your knee, “it was a lot more fun with you. She kept saying she wanted to go home and that messed with my own experience.”
“And yet, you kissed her.”
“Yeah, well. Happens.” He rolled his eyes. His voice was still casual and soft; perhaps he didn’t notice the storm in your pupils. “But I’ve had better kisses.”
Or maybe he did notice. Maybe that’s why he was saying that.
You hoped for a certain answer, but still tried, “Oh? Have you kissed more girls since spring?”
Oops. Okay, you didn’t want to ask so explicitly. But up until spring, he had never kissed anyone. And your heart fell into your ass, shoulders relaxing when he admitted, “No. Just her.”
Your eyes were wide now. You ogled at him, and then down to your drying legs again. Suppressing a smile, you nodded; and when you stared up at him anew, he was watching you intently.
Carefully, with tenderness in his gaze.
And he was close. You were half certain he’d kiss you again because for the tiniest moment, his eyes flitted down to your lips. But to your chagrin, the day and summer ended like this — mouth untouched.
He wouldn’t do more until years later.
Instead, he said, “I guess that was the last thing we still had left, right? Think I know this island inside out by now.”
“Probably,” you said, your voice hoarse. You cleared your throat, swallowed. “Would be cool to explore more with you, though. Outside this place, I mean.”
But once again, you couldn’t foresee that it’d be your last summer together for a long time. That you wouldn’t meet the boy bringing you the stars until you had hurt and broken enough.
And he didn’t know either; of course he didn’t. Because soon he promised, “When we’re older and richer, I’ll take you to the mountains. Okay?”
You giggled, unaware of the future. Naive and thinking you’d never separate from him, that you were destined to stay together — as friends or whatever else fate wrote for you.
So you hit his chiselled chest just lightly, telling him, “You’re gonna make me fear heights again, Jeon.”
“Nah,” he rebutted, “I’ll show you the clouds,” he pointed to the sky you couldn’t see, hidden behind the branches and leaves, “from up close.”
“Hmm,” you voiced, “the stars aren’t enough, huh?”
“They shouldn’t be. Strive for more and stuff, right?”
Right…
For a couple seconds, you just looked at him. Nodding a little, smiling, probably lovesick with hearts floating in your eyes.
Eventually, you lifted up your body, getting to your feet with a hand against the tree. “Okay,” you finally agreed, “mountains then.”
The charm glimmers in the light. It flashes Jungkook a little, and he blinks, moving his gaze up to your face. You’re finishing up the remnants of your soup, bowl tilted, getting to the last drops.
But your movements are slow, and you’re quiet… and he wonders whether he stayed silent for too long, too.
He calls your name softly, meeting curious eyes. His heart immediately pounds, and he says, “I was just thinking of something.”
You smile. “Figured. I was, too.”
“Oh?”
“Yeah. You first, though.”
“Hmm.” He lets the spoon drop, looking at the empty bowl, and then suggests with folded arms, “What do you think of the mountains this year?”
You raise your eyebrows. Look at him as if you understood. As if you recognised where his mind wandered to, and where the source of this idea lies.
And then, you prove that very point when you ask, “Were you remembering the waterfall incident?”
His lips form an O, expression sickeningly sweet and surprised.
“Were you, too?”
“Just a little. Since we said we don’t want any heat this year.”
He puffs out a breath; a slight, disbelieving shake of his head follows. Then, he simply says, “Sick.”
You kiss your teeth, nodding along. “You did promise back then. Mountains, I mean.”
“I did. And we can still totally go.”
“I’d love to.”
A brief silence envelopes the room. The pause is pregnant, the air lighter than before; and then he breaks the stillness.
“Hey… you gotta admit. You were jealous, weren’t you?”
His voice harbours playfulness, but his eyes hold a glimmer of curiosity. You can’t help but chuckle; thinking back to it, your pout was hilarious. Troubles used to be different back then — your younger self wouldn’t have survived opening the door to a half naked friend. Jungkook, toned chest out, right behind her.
A crazy summer indeed.
“You kissed me that year,” you say, “and then you kissed someone else. Teenage me was going *through it.”
You scrunch your nose, and when he does it in the middle of a laugh, too, you lose your cool. Might be due to the bunny teeth flashing. The sweet crinkles around his eyes.
But you lift off the chair, hurriedly rounding the table, lean over his body and sandwich his face between your palms. You don’t waste another moment — connect your lips quickly, mouth moving against his.
He lets out a tiny sound of surprise, but doesn’t reject you. Instead, his hands wander to your waist in reciprocation, dropping to your hips and then to your—
You gasp, tongues intertwining eagerly; you taste the freshly eaten dinner. Your keen hands hold onto his dark locks. He breaks the kiss only to get to his feet, pulling you close to his body. His head tilts, the kiss deeper. Fingers cradling the nape of your neck.
And then, as he sucks in some air, he whispers, “What was that?”
“Just…” You inhale. “Catching up. Doing what I should’ve done back then.”
“She says as if I don’t kiss her *all the time.” Soft peck against your lower lip. “Or as if I wasn’t just inside her this noo—”
“You’re so obscene, Koo.”
He snickers. “Alright. Now that we know what we want to do,” his breath is warm against your skin; you shiver, “we can book the vacay a bit later, too, right?”
Breathing is hard, speaking even more.
Your lips are parted, yearning for more. You’re irritated by the layers of clothing between the two of you — which is why you’re quick to agree, “Not opposed to a break.”
“Also,” he continues, his eyes locked onto yours, voice tinged with anticipation, “just so you know. Our kiss *was way better than whatever I did with Jiae.”
Another soft laugh escapes your lips; the name is insignificant for you. The intoxication of the moment matters; him and you. But you still jest, “Didn’t need to connect a name to that memory.”
His chuckle matches yours, voice barely above a whisper.
“I love you, you know?”
And that’s all he breathes for the next hour. Genuine confessions, tender praises — your name.
So often that you soon forget any other in the world — beyond continents and oceans.
liked it? then let me know!! 😁 and if you haven't yet, feel free to read the full oneshot that this drabble's a "sequel" to, as well <3

Dreamy Skirts (Sam Winchester x Reader Smut)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: Sam likes you in your skirt so a night out turns into something cheeky.
Pairing: Sam x Reader
Warnings: oral sex
Word count: 1504
Note: This was a dream I had when I was 18. Enjoy! Like/reblog or both if you like it! :)
“I think I’m going to like it here.” Sam said excited while putting his bag and backpack on the bedroom floor.
It was summer and after he and his brother almost got killed on a hunt you decided enough was enough. You needed a break from everything. Nothing bad was happening in your area so you decided to take a trip to Miami. You planed the whole thing just the three of you. Hotel by the beach with great food and even found Dean a separate room which made him very happy. You and Sam tend to be….loud, sometimes.
“I think so too.” You smiled.
“Perfect time to catch up on my reading.”
“Just how many books have you brought with you Sam?” You asked knowing his book worm tendencies.
“Maybe, possibly 3?” He said looking down shyly.
You smiled remembering how you liked watching him read, the way he would get lost in the book made you happy more than the words can explain. You got closer to him wrapping your hands around his body pulling him into a tight hug. His hands rested on your back drawing small cycles on it.
“I love you. Thank you for convicting me to go on this vacation with you. I need it.”
“I love you too. And I know you do. I was worried about you. Sometimes I really hate being a hunter. ”
He smiled. “I know.”
Day one you slept in. Neither swimming nor going out, you were dead tired from the drive, so you spent in bed talking about life and eating junk food. Dean on the other hand had other things to do….like get laid.
Day two on the other hand was different. Unforgettable. After spending the whole day on the beach you wanted to go out and have a drink. Sam on the other hand wanted to go to bed at 9pm.
“But I’m tired.” He said. “And don’t really want to drink.”
“Pretty please?” You made a sad puppy dog face hoping he would surrender.
“We spend all day swimming  where do you find the energy?” He asked and got under the covers on his side of the bed. He was wearing his black boxers and a white shirt aka his pajamas.
“I always have the energy for alcohol.” You simply said. “Come on it will be fun…plus…” You got closer to him and kissed his cheek. “I will wear something nice for you.” You whispered into his ear sending shivers down his spine.
“You are making this very hard for me (Y/N).”
“That’s the point genius.” You lowered your lips onto his neck feeling him breathe nervously. “Oh come on.”
“If I go now, tomorrow I want to just sit by the pool and read.” He finally said.
“Deal tomorrow will be our book club day.”
“Fine.” He got up, took his clothes from his bag and went towards the bathroom to get ready.
“Love you.” You said.
“I know you do.” You heard him say.
While he was in the bathroom you took the time to get ready. You decided a black high waisted skirt and a white crop top was the way to go. You didn’t wear skirts but when you did (some cases demanded a more classy wardrobe choices) you would always catch Sam staring and undressing you with his eyes while licking those god damn perfect lips of his. Teasing him to get what you want was your favorite pastime. The fact was you have always been a shy girl with so little confidence, but being with Sam gave you something you never knew you had, freedom. It was freeing to know you could do anything you wanted and make the first steps without getting judged or criticized. As you were about to do your makeup in front of the mirror that was near the bed you shared, Sam finished with the bathroom. He decided to wear pants and a flannel shirt. Classic Winchester.  When he entered the room he saw you getting lost in your makeup bag looking for god knows what. He stood there leaning on door frame looking at you and thinking how beautiful you looked and how no other human being had made him feel the way you did. He was lost in your beauty and fragileness in that very moment, but he also thought how sexy you looked in that skirt and how he suddenly had an urge to be underneath it making you moan his name over and over again.
Suddenly he wrapped his strong arms around your small frame and started kissing your neck which he knew it was your weakest link. You put your eyeliner on the table as soon as you felt his lips on your skin. You smirked looking at the mirror.
“So you are not tired after all?” You teased.
“I don’t think I am anymore.” He said between kisses.
“I need to put on some make up I want to look good for you.”
His hand traveled up in your skirt feeling your delicate skin of your inner thigh on his fingertips. A sigh escaped from your lips. Oh how you liked when he did that.
“You don’t need makeup.” His hand moved between your legs causing you to moan a little. “You are perfect without it.”  Sam’s confidence had always been a huge turn on for you. Suddenly you weren’t in the mood for drinks anymore.
“What has gotten into you Sammy?” You asked seductively biting your lip. “Is it the skirt?”
“Maybe…”He smirked. His hand was still underneath your skirt, slowly rubbing you through your panties. You got on your tiptoes and moaned even louder this time. “I really like it.”
“I’m glad you do.” You managed to say as you turned to face him. You place the tip of your index finger on his lips feeling its wetness and warmth. “So no drinks tonight then?”
“Seems like it.”
“Perfect.” You said and kissed him. He kissed back with no hesitation, with even more passion and fire making your body ache for him. You became needy and vulnerable under his touch. Breaking the kiss you took his hand and sat on the edge of the bed pulling him closer to him for another kiss. He bit your lower lip instantly knowing you would whimper as he pushed you down on the bed. He was right, you did whimper a little. You always do. You moved upwards onto the bed while Sam was on top of you balancing himself with his elbows. You took the shirt off with ease showing off your white bra as Sam watched you closely like you were an art form. When you tried to take of your skirt he stopped you.
“Don’t.”
“Sammy do you actually have a thing for my skirts? Because I have seen you stare multiple times.”
“I’m guilty. I can’t help it.”
“God I love you.” You said feeling like the luckiest person alive. And you indeed were.
“Likewise (Y/N)” Sam smiled and started to kiss your neck again. You tugged on his gorgeous locks of hair while his hand went underneath your skirt again. His kisses moved on your collar bones then between your breasts making you weak and needy while his hand worked the same magic again making you wet by the minute. When his mouth was close to the hem of your skirt he stopped to look at you. You were panting from just his kisses looking at the blank ceiling. He smirked and moved his head between your legs and you lost him. Suddenly he took off your panties. Dear Lord….
A few seconds passed and you could feel your body coming alive from all that pleasure he was giving you with his tongue.
“Sammy…” You moaned. “Fuck.”
The pleasure kept building up until you found yourself moaning uncontrollably. “I THINK I’M GONNA-“
And you did. Stood up on his knees between your legs with his chin shining. He took off your skirt and whipped himself clean before he kissed you again.
His clothes soon after went on the floor and your hands were all over his skin. You flipped him at one point so you were now on top of him kissing and biting him more than you should. You were such a tease sometimes. He was in his boxers so you took the chance to feel his hardness…
“What’s that?” You suddenly asked.
“What?”
“That song? Are you serious?” You laughed.
Someone played Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley. You thought for a second it came from the outside but the truth was it was your alarm. Your little paradise disappeared and you woke up all hot and bothered. It was Monday and time for work. You were still single and Sam still wasn’t real.
“Are you fucking serious?!” You whispered angrily and turned the alarm off forcing yourself back to sleep. Fuck work. Fuck everything...for like 5 more minutes.
Mondays were truly great.

SIMPLE JOY TIMELESS MEMORIES
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Last night at 3 am, it rained so heavily that I was reminded of my summer vacation days at my Nana and Nani's house. The flashback brought back memories of how the water level in the porch area would rise, and we would make paper boats and float them on the water. Then, Nani would make pakoras (fritters) for us, and we would complete our summer vacation homework so that we could get permission to play outside with our new friends."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"At night, when the sky would clear and the stars would glister in the sky, we cousins would lie on a mat and gaze at the beautiful stars. Those memories are unforgettable - no social media, just living in the beautiful moment."

————————
This wasn’t how your night was supposed to go. You were supposed to be living it up, having an unforgettable night with your best friend, possibly even sleep with one of the frat boys to relieve yourself from all the stress and anxiety the school has given you these past few months. After months, months of constant stress, sleepless nights, acne trying to overtake your skin from the multiple quizzes your professors have given you, you were finally finished with the semester.
You still needed another year, a few more credits before officially being a college graduate, but as of now you decided to take advantage of this summer vacation to destress yourself. It was the last day of school and the frat boys decided to throw an open house party, which you and your best friend attended, but again, your night didn’t turn out the way you hoped for.
Barely reaching your fifth cup of… whatever it was, a nice smooth buzz began crawling its way up your veins, along with the high from a blunt you had inhaled from some random stranger, making you feel more relaxed, more loose, more alive than these last few months where you’ve been extremely tensed. All of it was gone in an instant, leaving you in a certain way where you were actually enjoying the party, the music. But just as you were enjoying the moment, it was of course interrupted in a second.
Barely having drank a shot of vodka, which of course causes a cough attack from you due to its brutal burn, Christy, your best friend whom you attended the party with catches your eye. From where you stood you watch her stumble her way through people until she eventually makes it to the kitchen where you had four more shots to go in front of you. However, before you can question her the sound of her gagging then spilling her stomach on the counter interrupts you. It was at that moment that you knew it was time to go home.
So here you were now, waiting just outside the frat house on the sidewalk with Christy putting all her weight on you while you both waited for your ride home. Unfortunately, your ride for the night happened to be Jeremy, Christy’s older brother, or in other words the one man who has completely ruined other men for you simply just by being him.
You had sent him a text through her phone letting him know of the situation, within a second he responds back stating he’d be there in less than 10. Once pocketing the phone in your back pocket, grabbing Christy and somehow managing to walk out the house without falling face first, you both sat on the sidewalk waiting for him. While waiting you couldn’t help your mind wonder.
The crush you had towards him was like no other, he had a hold on you that you couldn’t seem to get out of nor couldn’t seem to shake off, not that you wanted to of course, but still, he did things to you that only deepened that crush on him. You’ve obviously tried to brush those feelings away considering he’s your best friends older brother, but the harder you tried denying those feelings the harder they came back. Making you realize just how bad you had it for him.
You’ve had small talk with him here and there, he wasn’t much of a talker, at least to you anyways, he always did greet you whenever you’d showed up for family gatherings or family parties, but not once did he ever showed any interest towards you. Or.. at least that’s what you thought.
After waiting for a good 10 to 15 minutes on the sidewalk, a black Jeep wrangler pulls in front of you. The drivers side opens, revealing Jeremy in all his glory. Black T-shirt that hung perfectly against his toned body, revealing those large, fitted arms of his, with dark jeans and boots on his feet. You make eye contact with him as he crosses the little gap and crouches in front of you two.
“You good?” He asks, wondering if you’re capable of walking the little distance to the car,
Nodding your head at him you let him grab Christy, who was leaning her head against your shoulder, probably even drooling on your shirt. Once safely putting your best friend in the car and safely buckled down, you both climb inside the car where the drive to her house was in silence, only the sound of his music playing lowly through the speakers would drown out the thick silence.
As she dozed off in the backseat, snoring her life away, you sat in the passenger side, sneaking hidden glances at the man here and there. Feeling the way your cheeks stretched as your smile had a mind of its own, you just couldn’t help it, the way the street lamps would cast a dark, yet, bright golden glow on his face illuminated his features oh so perfectly. He wasn’t even doing anything, didn’t have to do anything, all he did was stare straight ahead, driving down the dark roads in silence yet it was enough to spark a small chuckle from you when your thoughts begin to wonder.
“Something funny?” He asks, never taking his eyes off the road,
You shake your head, feeling warmth crawling up your cheeks, “Nope,”
Jeremy glances at you with a raised brow for a few seconds before averting his gaze back on the road, catching a small glimpse at the way your lips lift upwards.
After an intense car ride and somewhat helping Jeremy with his intoxicated sister get out the car and up the stairs, you now sat on the kitchen island with a bucket full of rocky road ice cream on your lap. The cravings for it’s chocolatey taste had hit you like no other. So there you were, sitting on top of the island, feet dangling off the edge with a carton of ice cream in your hands. It was such an embarrassing sight, but at that moment you were completely shameless.
You didn’t know if it was the buzz wearing off or your high calming down but… you’ll definitely say this was the best rocky road ice cream you have possibly eaten. The amount of times you’ve eaten the same ice cream can never compare to this moment right here, it just tasted amazing. Like nothing you’ve ever had before, but again, it was just your hunger getting the best of you.
As you placed another spoonful of ice cream in your mouth, a satisfied groan slips from you as you enjoy the taste, yet opening your eyes they immediately land on Jeremy. Who was standing in the entrance of the kitchen with a dark look in his eyes. A small smirk starts to spread around the spoon that still rested in your mouth at an idea you have. With a devilish smile, you slowly pull out the utensil, making sure to lick your lips without breaking eye contact. From where you sat on the island and little light coming from the hallway, you can make out the way his entire frame grows stiff, hands curled into fists by his side as his eyes focus on you.
“You want some?” You ask with a innocent smile,
Narrowing his eyes with a small smile tugging on his lips, he makes his way towards you. Grabbing the carton and spoon from your hands, he dips it inside before pulling it back out. Without breaking eye contact, which you noticed is becoming hard to do, he closes his lips around the spoon. You watch as he too slowly drags it out from his mouth, teasing you just the way you were not even two seconds ago, however, as he drags the metallic utensil against his lower lip, leaving a drop of chocolate ice cream, and you not being able to control yourself no longer when the son of a bitch licks his own lips was enough for you to push aside the voice.
As if on impulse, you grab the back of his head and bring him down towards your lips. Which he doesn’t hesitate to react back. The taste of chocolate rests on his tongue as you explore his mouth. The ice cream carton long forgotten on the side of the island. Jeremy’s hands settle on either side of your hips as he brings you closer to the edge as he quickly settles in between your legs. The kiss quickly escalates, feeling the way his hands had traveled down to your bottom while his lips now lavished the side of your neck. This was what you’ve been waiting for, craving for, but before you can take it to the next level the sound of the front door shutting makes you both jump out of your skins.
In less than a second you both part away from each other, him taking a large step back while you hop off the counter. You glance at one another, taking in each other’s presence before quickly picking up the spoon from the floor that was dropped at some point during the heated make out session, but just as you rise from the floor and look forward you notice Jeremy was no longer in the kitchen. He had covered the bucket of ice cream before leaving the room, leaving you alone with your thoughts.
A million questions raced in your mind that you couldn’t answer them properly, mostly because you didn’t know how to answer them. Whatever happened—happened and that alone brought a childlike smile on your face as you replay the moment over and over in your mind. You’ve always wondered what those lips felt like, what his hands would feel like around your hips, on your skin, how it’d feel to be underneath his weight, however that didn’t happen.
Guess it wasn’t meant to be. Yet.

𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐨 𝐁𝐚𝐲 | 𝐊𝐲𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐛𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞
Tumblr media
𝘗𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴: Kylian Mbappe x Female Reader
Word Count : 1K
𝘈𝘶𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘴 𝘕𝘰𝘵𝘦: Now who doesn't love a cute fluff mini story c': Thank you so much for requesting!! I Hope you like how I represent your idea ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚!!
(っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ Since I haven't been able to write much this week, I'm currently catching up on current requests because I'm a little behind. You can submit a request, but please understand that it might take me a week or more to respond. mwah mwah love ya! ♥
You're sitting on the couch, scrolling through your phone, when your boyfriend Kylian walks in with a mysterious smile on his face. You've noticed he's been acting secretive lately, and you can't help but feel curious about what he's up to. As he approaches you, he holds out a small envelope.
"Hey babe, I've got something for you," he says, handing you the envelope. "Open it."
You look at him quizzically before opening the envelope. Inside, you find two plane tickets to Montego Bay, Jamaica, along with a note from Kylian saying, "Pack your bags, we're going on vacation!"
You can't believe it! You've been wanting to go on a tropical vacation for so long, but with Kylian's career and other responsibilities, it just never seemed like the right time. But now, thanks to Kylian, you're going to have a chance to relax and unwind.
"Kylian, this is amazing!" you squeal, jumping up from the couch to hug him. "Thank you! Thank you! THANK YOUUUUU!"
He laughs happily as he catches you in his arms, hugging you tightly. "Of course, my love. Anything for you," he says, planting a sweet kiss on your forehead.
"When do we leave?" you ask, looking down at the ticket.
"In two days," he responds, smiling at your excitement.
"Two days? Oh my gosh, I have to start packing right now. And get my toes painted. And get some summer dresses. AHHH!" Adrenaline is running through your veins from the excitement as well as the knowledge of all the things you need to do beforehand. You give him a quick peck on the lips, handing him the tickets back. "Thank you so much, baby, but I gotta go!"
As he grabs the tickets, you quickly run off into your bedroom to start doing the endless list of things you need to do beforehand. You spend the next two days frantically packing, getting your nails done, and making sure everything is perfect for your romantic getaway.
When you arrived at Montego Bay, you were blown away by the beauty of the place. The palm trees, clear blue water, and vibrant culture made it the perfect destination for a vacation.
As Kylian placed the luggage next to the closet and made his way towards you, you couldn't help but admire how handsome he looked in the tropical setting. His sun-kissed skin and sparkling eyes were a perfect match for the beautiful scenery around you. You couldn't imagine spending this vacation with anyone else.
“Kylian....this view is amazing,” you say walking towards the balcony, your eyes fixated on the crystal-clear water before you.
Kylian smiles and joins you on the balcony, looking out at the same breathtaking view. You notice a mischievous glint in his eye, and you feel a sense of anticipation in the air.
“Not as pretty as you, though,” he teases, a grin spreading across his face.
You roll your eyes and playfully slap his chest, “You're so cheesy!”
He chuckles and pulls you closer, “Maybe just a little bit.”
As you both stand there, taking in the beauty around you, you realize how lucky you are to have Kylian by your side. He has always been the one to make you laugh, comfort you when you're sad, and share in your happiest moments. And here you are, on this romantic vacation, sharing another unforgettable experience.
“I can't believe we're actually here,” you say, still in awe of the stunning view.
Kylian kisses your forehead, “Neither can I. But we're here now, and we're going to make the most of it.”
As you bask in the warm sun and ocean breeze, you can't help but feel excited about all the adventures this trip holds. You had both planned to go snorkeling, hiking, and maybe even try parasailing, but most importantly, you were looking forward to spending quality time with each other.
And throughout the course of the following week, you two shared a lot of humorous moments as well as a lot of memories.
During your snorkeling adventure, you and Kylian also came across a school of tiny fish that swam around you, tickling your toes. You burst out laughing, feeling like you were in your own personal fish spa. Kylian took the opportunity to take some hilarious underwater selfies of you both, with your snorkeling gear on and fish nibbling at your feet.
One evening, Kylian surprised you by setting up a candlelit dinner on the beach. As you sat down at the table, you noticed a small crab crawling up Kylian's leg. You couldn't contain your laughter as you watched Kylian jump up, trying to shake the crab off his leg. The crab eventually made its way back to the ocean, but the memory of the moment stayed with you, adding to the list of funny experiences you both shared on this trip.
During your hike, you also stumbled upon a small waterfall nestled among the lush greenery. You and Kylian decided to take a dip in the cool water, and as you swam around, Kylian pretended to be Tarzan, swinging from the vines that hung above the waterfall. You laughed so hard that you had to hold onto the rocks to keep from slipping.
Another day, you and Kylian decided to take a boat ride to a nearby island. As you were cruising along, Kylian spotted a group of dolphins jumping and playing in the water. You both were thrilled at the sight and Kylian even tried to mimic the dolphins' moves, to the amusement of the boat captain and other passengers.
As your vacation was coming to an end, you and Kylian decided to take a salsa dancing class together. While Kylian may have two left feet, you loved watching him try and laugh at himself when he got the steps wrong. You both had so much fun learning new moves and even tried to show off your new skills at the resort's beach party later that night.
Reflecting on your time in Montego Bay, you couldn't help but feel grateful for Kylian and the adventures you shared together. From the beautiful scenery and stunning wildlife to the hilarious mishaps and silly moments, this trip was one for the books. You both returned home with a new appreciation for each other and the memories that would last a lifetime.

Birthday Surprise
Series: None, this is a one-shot and you can find those here.
Fandom: The Royal Romance
Pairing: Drake x OC!F (Jen)
Rating: G
Warnings for this chapter: None, it's PG. (Sorry, Jen lol)
Word Count: 559
A/N: Follow up to Summer Vacation. Happy birthday @nestledonthaveone
My other stuff: Master List.
Tumblr media
Jen looked at herself in the mirror. She did a little twirl to watch the skirt flare out.
She looked cute.
She sighed as she put the finishing touches on her makeup. It was her birthday and she felt…. discontent.
It wasn’t anyone's fault. Her friends were amazing and they had planned a whole night for her. An early movie followed by dinner, then dancing.
Gifts, cards, and happy birthday texts had been arriving all day. She turned and made her way to a vase full of red roses. Buring her nose in them she inhaled deeply. Running her fingers across the soft petals, she sighed again.
This summer had been going fine, but she couldn’t help but compare it to last year. Last year she had spent her entire birthday month traveling across Europe. It had been unforgettable.
The flowers she was currently caressing had been sent by the new friend she’d made while there. The smoking hot drummer of a band they’d seen while on an unplanned layover in a tiny country called Cordonia.
He had promised to visit, but that hadn’t happened. Between his band’s touring and recording schedule and her classes and new internship, there just hadn’t been time for either of them to travel.
There had been phone calls, video chats and text messages, but those were a poor substitute for the real thing.
It’s fine, she told herself as she threw her wallet and lipstick into a small clutch just as the doorbell rang.
Her best friend was picking her up so she could drink tonight without worrying about driving home. She promised herself that she would have fun tonight and not focus on the long distance relationship that might or might not be happening.
She crossed the living room and pulled the door open ready to ask if she should bring a jacket. It was hot outside, but movie theaters in Texas were kept arctic cold during the summer months.
The words died on her lips and shock coursed through her when she found the person standing on her doorstep wasn’t her best friend.
“Drake?”
He was as heart-stoppingly handsome as he had been the first time she’d seen him. Chestnut hair fell to his shoulders. Eyes the color of hammered copper sparkled with anticipation. His mouth split into a smile. “So, you’re happy to see me? This is a good surprise?”
She finally recovered as happiness flooded into her. “The best!”
She wasn’t sure who moved first, but the next thing she knew, she was in his arms again.
Finally!
After what seemed like forever and no time at all, her across the hall neighbor cleared her throat loudly. “Take it inside. The rest of us don’t need to be subjected to this!”
“Sorry!” Jen flushed, but she was giggling as they pulled apart. She took his hand and pulled him inside, closing the door behind them.
“We should go if we’re going to make the movie.” He laughed softly.
“Wait. You know about the movie?” Her eyes narrowed. “My friends were in on this?”
“Yeah.” He chuckled. “They also said we can just meet at the restaurant for dinner if we’d rather skip the movie.”
Heat exploded through her at the implication.
She would have to remember to thank her friends later.
They were definitely going to miss the movie.

WRITING FROM 6/10/24
Peace be upon you. I will tell you part of my story, which began on the seventh of October. The morning came and it was six o’clock in the morning. It was the first day of a new university for me. I was very excited to go after the summer vacation period. I did not reach the top of the street to secure myself transportation to take me to the university because that It was something we always suffered from, as we were on the border in front of this usurping occupier, with only a few meters separating us, until I found myself as if it was a great day that the heavens and earth could not overcome. I was very happy at that time, which...
It's happening in front of me. This did not come out of nowhere. Indeed, this was implanted in the blood of every Gazan from the day of his birth in order to liberate his occupied land and his violated sanctities. For him to do that is a great honor. I contemplated and did not know what was happening at that time, but I understood at that moment that this was a great honor on our part. I returned home and was proud of what had happened. He was healed. The people of Gaza have been released for 70 years, and we have been under a permanent siege. There are no crossings or corridors. Everything is violated. We have our situation. We are not like the people of the world, who own everything with complete freedom. We are not like us, restricted by a usurping entity. I collected some of my things and we were displaced immediately, as we were directly in front of the border, and we know what will happen then. The great event that defeated the strongest army in the Middle East, despite its dangerous security system, in exchange for an organization with little equipment and equipment. He went relying on God only, but achieved a victory that amazed the world and created an unforgettable event that will forever be written in history.
The entity's terrorist system began to regain its strength at that time, and the afternoon of that day had not yet arrived, and we found ourselves as if we were on the Day of Judgment. Successive belts of fire measured in tons of internationally banned explosives. No one escaped from them. They burned the body and cut it into pieces, and from its horror, it descended what it destroyed deep into the earth over a distance of up to several meters. Meters away, no trace of the rubble remains, even despite its horror.
Night came then, and for the first time in my entire life, my body was shaking in this way from the horror of what I hear and see, and how they are going to annihilate us all. I sat in the corner of the living room of the house in which we were displaced, which is only a few meters away, and the fiery belts began to appear around us, as if it were a literal earthquake. I waited my turn then, contemplating whether... We will become pieces. This is how the idea took root in my brain. Then everyone went to sleep and I was left alone thinking about how all these high floors above me would fall on ourselves and destroy us and cut us into pieces. This was all my thinking. I went to my prayer and as soon as I prostrated, another belt of fire began. I stopped my heart while I was prostrating. I stayed for a while and I could not. Imagine what is happening, and I cannot get up from prostration. I say, “Whose turn is this until it is over?” I thanked my Lord for saving me then, and I remained in the corner of the house, seeing everyone sleeping in front of me. He wakes up only to the horror of the missiles, then returns to me, and I think until the morning comes. Everyone was laughing at me, but this was not in my control. My mother would check on me then, whether I had fallen asleep or not, and she would find me in the same place. Day would come and night would come, and I could not eat. Even then, I remained like this for two consecutive months without a single hour of sleep.
I remember, on my birthday, the entire Internet was shut down in the Gaza Strip on October 14. A week had passed since the war, until news came to me in the evening that made me collapse in tears. It was the martyrdom of my teacher, dear to my heart, for expressing only the word of truth. May God have mercy on her. My friend and her entire family were studying human medicine in the third year, and the sounds of the fire belts began throughout the night with the illumination of the lanterns. It was not until morning that the news came of my other friend with her family and my doctor at the university. Then I said that we will not stay in this life at all. Our turn will definitely come. It is all their fault that they are civilians in Gaza only.
The events began to increase and they did not know what they were using to annihilate us. They did not leave an internationally banned weapon until they tried it on us. The annihilation continued until the largest massacre occurred on 10/17. The first massacre took place in the Baptist Hospital near us. Half of my family was there, may God have mercy on them all. Then I heard the explosions and their sound was strange. As usual, it was in the form of a complete fire. My friend sent me that the number of victims had reached 500 martyrs. I collapsed in my corner and could not move, and we all started crying and trembling. Then we got up to pray and our tears fell and we prayed until she sent me again that the number of martyrs of the massacre had reached 800. Then I did not wake up from the shock. I said that it was inevitable. We will not survive, and we will become pieces like them, who are displaced civilians, since it is a hospital that has international protection, and that our turn will come. We continued praying, and our hearts were definitely trembling from hearing that. We did not sleep that day, we were all from the severity of the situation, waiting for our turn.
Until the morning came and the fire belts began to surround us again. My mother, my little sister, and my brother were just going out to get a meal from the nearby groceries. At that time, no one could go out and move from his place and area to another place. Whoever went out was immediately killed by their damned planes, until a fire belt happened in... The area around our residence was destroyed. An entire residential square. Fragments of the belt and rubble began to fall on us everywhere. I did not care about that. I remembered that my mother had just left that place. I ran quickly in my prayer clothes, without which I could not sleep for 9 months. I found myself moving on body parts, dismembered bodies, and dark dust that I could not see. From it and wounded women and children coming out with their blood. Then I completely collapsed and said that my mother and those with her were martyred until the dust of the rubble disappeared a little. I found my mother hugging my sister who was not more than 3 years old in front of that horrific massacre at a neighbor’s door. She was stained with dust and rubble. I hugged her and prayed to my Lord so much that she was alive. Life, and I was crying even when I returned. I could not control myself. Everyone in this square was gone, except for one young man who was no more than 20 years old. His father had taken him out against his will to the grocery store on the other street. As if he knew their fate, he kept crying and imploring his Lord to take him with them and not feel sorry for them. This is how he told himself. A lot because he left at that moment for a few minutes that changed his life and took all of his family 💔😭 I returned home and I could not talk to anyone. Then I stayed in my corner awake and prayed for peace for my family and the martyrdom was not off my tongue for a single second because I knew that my turn would truly come with them.
Every night we were miraculously saved from God until one day they threatened our entire square. We started running, looking for the street number. Are we within this square or not? We sat thinking and writing what the threatened street numbers were. We found out that our street number was near those threatened, but it was not among them. We thank God. Until night came and we found ourselves inevitably between death, surrounded by successive tanks, fires, and bombardments. We all became those who were in the entire building, in the corner of the house at the bottom, from the horror of what was happening. Shrapnel was hitting everywhere, and quadcopters were hitting anyone who left or just looked out the window or door of the house. Until the morning came, we thanked God that we were still alive after everything we had lived through that night. We began to collect our things and decided to go out to the southern region, as this accursed occupation was claiming, that it was a safe area. We went out until we said to ourselves, “Death for once,” and when God’s decree comes, let us die in Our house and we do not leave it. In fact, we returned that day and the battle became more and more intense. We were alone. The ground war surrounded us with tanks and planes. They prevented us from getting even a drop of water. They withheld fuel and electricity. They shut off fresh water and closed the crossing. Since the first day, nothing had entered. We could barely get some water to drink and a little water. The sea is very salty for ablution, not for anything else. From that day on, we began to cook over the fire, wash on our hands, and wash the dishes without taps, only in a clean bowl. We were not able to fill the barrels of water and use them as before, due to the scarcity of water. We were satisfied with all of this, as it is God’s command and will. Every one’s destiny is written with God.
Until the day of the massacre of the shelter school for the displaced, where we had displaced my family on April 12, that day will never go away from my memory. My mother and I woke up and wanted to go to my grandmother and uncles to check on them because there was no transmission at that time. We continued on our way until I found myself directly in front of the tank. I did not know what was happening. My mother and I moved away directly and returned. We do not yet know how. We changed our route by which we came and did not cross our path until we heard the sounds of violent explosions. I began to look behind me to see what was happening. I found it happening in the school in front of me, and I on the other side cried. Then I wanted to check on who belonged to me there. Until I saw my uncle running to us and saying, “My grandmother was cut into pieces, and no one survived.” I held myself together because I was on the road and did not know what was really happening. We waited for hours, was this news true or not? He did not see them. He only escaped from under the tanks alone until we found my grandmother barefoot, covered in blood. The martyrs on earth were unable to walk at the time. That child said, “What is her fault for being like this?” She did not know that this child was dearest to her heart, and whom she had promised moments before her martyrdom to rejoice her on her birthday. She did not know that the date of her birth would also be the date of her death, and she was searching for her children and grandchildren. On the way, we calmed her down and said that everyone is fine, and we do not know what is happening in front of us. It is all in front of us, and we cannot move. We found the girl’s father, covered in blood, and she said, “My daughter was martyred in my hands. I could not save her, and she collapsed due to her helplessness. We could not control the news, and we calmed her down a little and did not.” She did not know that her daughter was injured, alone, hugging her little brother so that she could save him. She went to treat herself alone in the clinic next to them until she saw my other uncle’s bus carrying the martyred and injured people on it. She searched among them and kept looking at them to see her family. She found her little sister, hugged her, shrouded her, and placed her in front of the clinic’s door, and my father quickly went to get her. And her brother was among the tanks and snipers with my brothers. He brought her at night and also went in the morning to bury and honor her sister. They were sitting with us the day before in the school corridor and I was joking with her and talking to her. I did not know that it was the last time I would be able to see her, may God have mercy on her. It hurt our hearts.
We took the family and they were very sad and we took them to my grandfather’s house. As soon as they arrived, a massacre occurred next to us, killing 300 martyrs. From its horror, the windows of the entire house fell on us and some of the walls fell. I went out to look until I found pieces of children’s body parts at the door of the house. I could not control myself and quickly returned and went out to the roof of the house. I saw and saw a person, may God have mercy on him. The wounded were being transported first, quickly. The street became stained with blood. Everyone was running with their own wounded to rescue them, until they came to Bakara, the one transporting the donkeys, and they started dragging the martyrs on it, which consisted of chopped up, burnt body parts that you could not distinguish. And all the women were alone at that time in prayer clothes, all of them covered. This is the condition of all the women of Gaza, cannot sleep even in their prayer clothes for fear of being martyred while they are not covered. I and my family, who are sad for their daughter, began to cry intensely as we looked at ourselves at how we had survived. As soon as the night came, I was sitting waiting for the morning because of my intense hatred for the night and what happens at night, until I found glass on myself and my mother. And on my little sister and my aunt, we did not care about that. We bandaged the wounds and looked at where that massacre had taken place until we found it in the house of my brother’s friend in front of us, hours before he became a martyr. He was talking to them and promising them that if he came out in the morning and there was no martyr, he would distribute to them the lollipops that he had bought. He was working on. He spent two full months in the Civil Defense, and he survived every time without his friends, but his turn came and he knew it, may God have mercy on him.
This is part of the story that I will continue later in a more tragic way than that. Every second we have a story and miraculously survived, so how did we endure for 9 months? God is the one who gives patience to our hearts, and this is His will and judgment. There is no objection to His judgment.
