🚬🦇 Vampire!Price 🚬🦇
Vampire!Price AU where he's 737 years old and has been through countless wars. One of the most powerful beings in existence who has the gift, or rather, a curse of eternal life. Now he's with the SAS, forming the Task Force 141, a team of soldiers with special abilities.
In the modern day though, Price has sworn to only consume animal blood, because if he consumes human blood (even the enemies') his thirst will grow insatiable and he'll harm other people he grew to cherish, which explains his pale skin colour. He hasn't drunk any human blood since WWII.
When he's at the height of his powers, he can control the blood flow of other beings with blood, and with that, their movements and even every pump of their heart.
That is, until he met Gaz, who hadn't a single drop of blood inside his body.
Spoiler : it's Mummy!Gaz 👀
What a fun experience ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Revisiting the Vampire!Price had been really enjoyable, plus the fact that I get to study more shading and colouring techniques (because I suck at colouring)!
That cup is definitely just a red tea.
Hope you love this art! ૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა

personally i think the trope of "said something i wasn't supposed to while high on pain meds at the hospital" only works if it's smth actually incomprehensible. down with this trope. that and the whole "speaking out loud but the narrator doesn't know they are" trope. you should legally have to tag that i think. i know this usually happens for characters that would never admit something otherwise but actually there are a billion reasons someone would admit something they wouldn't otherwise. for example: someone else has a bomb-

man people really hate that orym still gets sad about his husband and father being murdered huh
not only is healing not linear and one’s progress shouldn’t be compared to someone else’s, but orym is actively in a situation that is bringing up that trauma and grief again and again, and you just want him to ignore that? to never talk about it??
like, I’ve been really stressed out lately in a way that’s bringing up a lot of old, tough memories and just a *smell* started to trigger a spiral, but you want orym to be perfectly reasonable when he’s dealing with the organization that killed his family, friends, and coworkers???
I also think that some of you just don’t like that Liam’s narration style utilizes a lot of imagery and parallels, because I’ve seen takes that are like ‘liam narrating orym being reminded of laudna’s past as she plays with her puppets shows that he doesn’t view laudna as a full person’ and ‘orym telling laudna that she has more love than delilah and that she deserves to live outside of delilah’s shadow means that he is incapable of viewing her beyond her history with delilah’—and with the latter take specifically: literally no? what? the whole recent arc has been laudna struggling to do that herself? how is orym trying to combat that view reinforcing it?
marisha frequently evokes delilah imagery in her narration of laudna and we all agree that it rules, so why is it suddenly Problematic that orym also thinks about these parallels? hot take I guess but I think it’s cool actually that liam pays attention to how his friend describes her character and has his own character engage with it.

im currently thinking about how sam is too scared to love jack, while jack is content to meet her where shes at as long as theyre side by side. how everyone from her dad to daniel and Teal'c to random aliens they met 3 hours ago all assume they either are already together or should just get their heads out of the sand and make out. how during the zatarc episode when jack was telling daniel about anise kissing him by simply saying "she made a pass on me" daniel immediately went "sam????". how in the nirrti episode with jonas sam felt like shit, was leaned perfectly comfortably against the bars, and completely shifted around to get jack cuddles. how in the memory stamp episode the stamp didnt stick with tealc at all, daniel held onto his morals and fascination of gate travel, sam held onto stuff like dhd, idc, gdo, and all jack held onto was his feelings for sam. how slowly over the seasons people (specifically her dad) noticed that sam wasnt happy, and that she WOULD be happy with jack. how jacobs dying wish was for sam to know she could have both her job AND her man. how, between the later seasons of sg1, atlantis, and sgu, the more proof for just how Married they were the further the distance between them grew (jack going to dc, sam going from commanding atlantis to commanding the hammond). how they were practically made for each other. how hammond probably knew when he met them in 1969 and had been waiting 28 years for them to meet. how jack "adored [her] already" their first gate trip together. how they literally, canonically, get together in every universe. how that fact constitutes them as soulmates.

I love how fucking dark this all is. Orym, the guard, the eternal watchdog, just watching and doing NOTHING. giving Laudna the okay to brutally kill this man who betrayed them.
