astro observations pt. 2

1.) venus square mars ppl have trouble with balancing their masculine and feminine energies. they can feel this internally and it can make them feel insecure. one second they feel hyper feminine and the next they feel more masculine. they wish they could find a way to balance both sides of them but it’s a struggle. they could come off too strong from time to time as a result of their inner conflict (might come off too strongly feminine or masc in the moment) and then they’d feel bad ab it later

I’m a bit hesitant about writing human x na’vi nsfw and I probably won’t write human reader x na’vi fluff. It’s just I have a hard time visually imagining a human and a na’vi having sex without an avatar body. I am not against the idea in any way, but the general concept does throw me off a bit (I always imagine some type of detrimental injury occurring bc we are so smol compared to na’vi)

In all, I’m not the biggest fan of writing for a human reader, and will probably turn down requests for a human x Na’vi fic.

Help Islam and His Family Survive and Evacuate Gaza

I want to share the story of Islam, a person I have followed for a long time, even before October 7. This is the story of one of the many Gazan people living through unimaginable hardships.

At the beginning of the war, Islam's home was demolished—not once, but TWICE. Everything was lost—his family home, his work, and any hope of survival. Islam and his family are doing their best to survive in this dire situation.

They sought refuge in a tent in Rafah, but then the Israeli occupation forces began operations in Rafah. For the second time, they lost everything, even their tent.

A tent in Gaza costs $800, and Islam struggled with his family to find a place to live. There is no safe place in Gaza, no clean water—just polluted water that leads to countless diseases. Islam and his family are suffering from many of them.

To buy food in Gaza, you need a large amount of money. To get medical care, you need even more. To escape the constant death and displacement, you need a fortune. Finding a suitable shelter is another expensive challenge. And if you want to evacuate and escape this ongoing tragedy, it requires an unimaginable amount of money.

I can’t even begin to imagine the hardship this family has faced just to survive until now. Islam and his family are not just numbers. It is our duty to help them live the life they deserve.

It has been almost a YEAR of war, and the situation is becoming more desperate by the day. Let’s help them before it’s too late.

After the Rafah operation, Islam started a fundraising campaign, but it hasn’t received enough attention like other campaigns. He’s only raised $2K out of the $60K needed. (the last donation was in 3 days!!!)

Islam has tried his best to spread his campaign and seek help. He deserves to live his life, to achieve his dreams, and to find peace in a safe place. Let’s not wait until it’s too late. Please consider helping Islam’s campaign. Together, we can give them the chance to live the life they deserve. Any donation, big or small, can make a huge difference. Uranus, Neptune and Pluto : the generational planets ✨🪐

Today’s post is about my opinion about these 3 big planets that are quite misunderstood because of their impact which can be individual and on a whole generation at the same time. I hope it will help beginners and give some insights about how to interpret some heavy placements ! (ps : english isn’t my first language, sorry if there’s too much mistakes or misunderstandings 🙏)

A “transpersonal” planet ?

Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are called “transpersonal” planets. Etymologically, the prefix trans- means “across, beyond”. They transcend the personality, go through the individuality to change humanity and soul in its core. Indeed, that’s exactly what it sounds like : these planets will send the same energy to the whole world at the same time to produce a global change.

You’ll answer me that every planet does so. Indeed, yes. When the Full moon is in Leo, the moon shares the same fiery energy to everyone. And, because of the velocity of these little planets and luminaries, it will influence everyone’s individuality for some days, some weeks in some cases. But, with transpersonal planets, the impact is more of a chemical change, like it’s changing the whole constitution of an environment.

Metaphorically, whereas the other planets will act like waves in the ocean to modify for a brief time its strength or calmness, transpersonal ones will have an impact on the Ph of the water, the constitution of the molecules, and THAT will impact all the fishes - without them not even acknowledging it sometimes.

Generational planets ?

As they’re very slow, their influence impact a whole generation. On the following list, I’ll explain how long each one stays in a sign before moving to the next one, and I’ll also explain the context of their discovery and how it expresses well the energy they spread.

Uranus needs 84 years to make a complete orbit. It stays 7 years in a sign.

It was discovered in 1781, era of the Age of Enlightenment, between the American revolution and the French one.

=> community, liberties, revolutions, new ways of living and thinking…

Neptune needs 165 years to make a complete orbit. It stays approximately 14 years in a sign.

Discovered in 1846, it chooses well its era to be found. 19th century is the peak of spiritualism, mediums and other divinations which were still condemned a few decades earlier.

It’s also a major era for art. The end of the 19th century has shown some open-mindedness : news ways of painting and writing were democratized, accepting some liberties in the way artists were expressing their feelings.

Pluto needs 248 years to make a complete orbit. It stays approximately from 12 to 30 years in a sign.

It was discovered in 1930, between the two world wars. It was the period of fascists regimes, abuses of power and death. It empowers primal instincts, chemicals, lies and destruction. Often related to atoms, quantum physics…

Disclamer : Yes, Pluto is one of the greatest source of power, and yes it has been used badly. However, with good intentions, this planet also purifies and transcends to help us regenerate, like a phoenix from the ashes.

An insight of 2024 ?

With all of this, how these 3 planets will influence our present ?

✨ Uranus is in Taurus ♉️ 2018-2026

Correlating to what we’ve seen previous times Uranus were in Taurus, we can guess that governments will try to pursue traditions and stubborn ways of governing.

Uranus isn’t at ease in Taurus so it diminishes its power. However, we could see some revolts about earth, agriculture, climate… The Taurus energy will increase the desire to possess things, to ensure a materialistic life, and Uranus presence will provoke some crisis about it. To resume, it creates another relationship with nature.

✨Neptune is in Pisces ♓️ 2012 - 2025

Each time Neptune is in Pisces, the accent is put on health. From Pasteur in the 19th century to the rise of alternative medicines nowadays, we continue to observe this tendency. We’ve also seen a lot of improvement about mental health these last years. It’s also the end of a cycle. Some values are discussed, tolerance between all religions for example. Global spirituality is fostered. Meditation and hypnosis, dreams, are placed in the center of this reflection. We also have to be careful : Neptune is the ruler of illusions so, in Pisces, we have to stay realistic.

✨Pluto is in Aquarius ♒️ 2024-2044

First of all, you should know that Pluto will come back in Capricorn from September to November. Because of how violent Pluto’s energies can be, the planet goes back and forward in a new sign to soften the transition. Then, what could mean a Pluto in Aquarius ? It requires liberty, freeing ourselves from traditions and hierarchy. There could be some revolts and new ways of organizing societies and communities. New technologies and new ways of communication will appear.

Oscar: Um, I don't feel very safe around you anymore.

Oscar: Neither do I.

Blake: I sewed them back up, Mr. and Mrs. Panicky. Thank you very much!

Sun: Argh, dammit!

Blake: Oof! That is a LOT of blood.

Yang: Weiss-

Weiss: I am not snarky! Besides, even if I aas, which I'm not, at least I was able to capture that prisoner.

Sun: Ow!

Blake: Oh, don't be a baby. It's no different from sewing a coin purse. Or a sheep bladder.

Sun: (Hisses, Winces)

Blake: There. You should be all good-

Sun: (Tries to get up) Great, Doctor, because I need to get back in the fight-

Blake: -AFTER you rest for three days.

Sun: What?! Ow!

Blake: You lost a lot of blood. It'll take a few days to replace what you lost. Until then, you are on comfy bedrest.

Neptune: So nothing's changed?

Sun: Haha...

Yang: I just got word he's awake.

Weiss: Good. Maybe we can finally get some answers from him.

Blake: Excuse me, I was kind of busy saving your friend's life. Did you say the prisoner was awake? If so, I'd like to speak with him... alone.

Yang: What? Why?

Blake: Well, if you recall, he and his friends turned everyone on my island into piles of ash and gore, and the sand into glass. Anyone that violent would certainly benefit from a... psychoanalysis check-up.

Blake: Hm, I see. And tell me, do you know where we are? This is a remote research facilty designed to study the surrounding wildlife. I did an internship just like it in grad school. Ruby: Oh, uh, sure! ...Um, sweetie?

Penny: YES, CAPTAIN MOMMY?

Penny: YES, MOMMY.

Blake: If you put the AI of a killing machine into a sniper rifle-scythe, you don't cut corners.

Qrow: Uh, wouldn't it be safer to give Ruby full control of the weapon?

Blake: Oh, no, no, no! You see, I had already run the tests, and came to the indisputable conclusion that we are all safer with Penny in charge than Ruby, who had the weapon for eight seconds, and sent fifteen of our own people to the hospital. We were BIH-ZEE that day.

A high-res image of Harry’s new board just dropped, and I’m gonna analyse and transcribe as many of the notes as I can. There are parts I couldn’t decypher, so if you want to zoom in the image yourself and help me fill out the blank, I’d me more than grateful!

The yellow post it above everything else says: The most practical application of my skills is to determine who works best with who. I eliminated interpersonal friction as best as I could so we can move forward efficiently.

My #1 post of 2022

There’s been a lot of talk about AO3 and censorship lately, due to one of the candidates to the OTW board. And I realised I have very strong Opinions:tm: about censorship and the freedom AO3 stands for.

Censorship is not a solution. It doesn’t work and it’s not even easily agreed upon where the line should be drawn. What some people might deem as immoral or reprehensible is not the same others will consider so. For example, you and me can agree that sexual stories about minors turn our stomach, yet other people would also include LGBT+ content there, even the sfw ones, and others might decide that any sexual content at all is immoral. So, how do we agree about what to ban, when nothing of it is even illegal?

because let’s be honest, it’s all fiction. As in, not real. Things like incest, rape and pedophilia are illegal irl, but not in fiction. Cause they’re not harming anyone. Really. You can find it disgusting, I certainly do, but I also recognize no person, no actual human, is harmed in the making of those stories. Because they’re made up and about made up characters. I won’t seek it out, and if I see someone making that kind of content I will most probably avoid them/block them (without harassing them), but they have the right to create any kind of fiction they want.

It always baffles me how readily understood that is when it comes to murder and violence in fiction. Nobody thinks that someone who writers murder mysteries or procedural shows really wants to go out and kill people. However, as soon as it’s about sex, people are up in arms ready to believe that those make believe scenarios are an indicative of someone’s real desires. Why is that? And since we’re on the topic of double standards: why are people clutching their pearls about fanfic, but literature gets a free pass, more or less? You go into a library and you’ll find lots of books with shocking and distasteful topics, including those that contain pedophilic content (like Lolita, to put a famous example), incest (Game of Thrones, among many others), rape, murder, etc. But they want me to believe that fanfic, the medium with severely impaired social acceptance and magnitudes smaller reach, is the actual problem that will “normalize” those ideas? Nah fam, I smell a moral panic, and people finding fanfic writers easier to bully into submission. Because this is all about controlling what forms of creative expression are deemed acceptable. Fanfic IS a form of art, popular art if you will, but still art. And by virtue of how AO3 is designed, it’s ridiculously easy to never see the kind of stories that you find objectionable.

Tags are a wonderful thing. I can specify what I want and what I don’t want in my story results when searching! Tags are the author being responsible and giving due warning. Especially the “dead dove: do not eat” tag, it lets you know that the content of the story will have questionable content, proceed at your own risk or keep scrolling. Same as the “chose to not use archive warnings” that one is a warning in itself that the story might contain triggering/upsetting content, and it’s the prerogative of each reader to decide whether they’re comfortable continuing reading or not. Ultimately, it’s all about taking responsibility for one’s decisions. People who are in favor of censorship in AO3 either don’t know how to control and curate what materials they access, or feel entitled to everyone else taking their morals into account instead of taking responsibility for their own experience in the archive.

None of the stories on AO3 is illegal. Fictional stories are not illegal, not even those dealing with unsavory topics. The archive makes people agree to continue reading whenever you click on a story with a certain rating (or without any rating at all, just in case!), so the reader is giving their consent to continue reading, they’re making an informed choice. Same as with the tags. They’re there, they’re a warning. If someone reads the tags, finds them displeasing and still continues reading, that’s on them. If I find a story with tags about rape/non-con, for example, I keep scrolling. Cause I know I will find the story displeasing and upsetting. The people clutching their pearls and going “but think of the children!” are, mostly, people who refuse that responsibility and ask the world to accommodate them and their morality. And then throw around words like pedohilia and accusations of “kiddie porn” careleslly, watering down the seriousness of such accusations. No, an explicit fanfic of twin, underage siblings going at it is not CSA. Cause there’s no real children involved in it. It might be disgusting for a lot of people (me included), understandably, but you can 100% avoid reading it and interacting with the people who write those. 

Finally, let’s not forget the recent history of fandom spaces, shall we? LiveJournal and Fanfiction.net both had purges of content, after some campaigns for censorship gained traction and popularity. So now everything relating to certain topics is eliminated! Well, except that also includes communities of support for survivors of sexual abuse (it happened in LJ). Well, except that the people pressuring for censorship weren’t happy with the gay smut either, so a lot of LGBT related stuff is now also gone! (happened both in LJ and ff.net). Except, in some countries anything sexual at all, is frowned upon, so why not ban that too? Censorship supporters will always move the goalposts, forever shifting their aim whenever they accomplish something. Because it’s easier and more comfortable to make others conform to their standards than accepting some artistic expressions will be uncomfortable to some people. And trust me, none of them will care if the dark fic in question was written by a survivor of similar experiences trying to cope with their trauma or raise awareness, or if it was done simply for titillation or to safely explore different scenarios in fiction. And the topics that were banned in those websites didn’t disappear at all, they just weren’t properly warned for/detailed in the summaries, so anyone could stumblre upon them by accident. The complete opposite of what happens in AO3.

AO3 was created by people who lived through those censorship events in different fandom spaces, as a response to it. To seeing whole communities and swathes of fan content being unceremoniously deleted overnight. AO3 is an archive and an online library, not a social media platform. It’s a safe haven for anyone to host their fan creations, but that doesn’t mean it’s a safe space as people understand the term in other platforms. In AO3 you make your safe space by using the tags. Because that is the only real way we can have a safe haven for EVERYONE. 

The thing about freedom of speech is that sometimes, you have to defend things you dislike (that, I repeat, are legal in this case), because experience has shown time and time again that as soon as you give an inch to the censors, they take more and more. And today they’re up in arms about “pedophilic fanfics”, but once that is done? It might be all nsfw content, it might be trans related content, it might be something else. But it will happen.

Chapter 27 god of hands part3

*Apollo smiled and slammed his fists together and kissed the Gauntlets*

*a bright light soon shone so brightly that no god could look at it. As even the mortals were effected.*

Kaito:*hisses as he backs into the shadows.*

Tsugu:*yelps as she sets on fire but gets away and puts herself out.*

Derail:ARGH! GODS ABOVE! *covering eyes with hand.*

Heimdall:MY EYES! TOO BRIGHT! TOO BRIGHT!

*when the light died out Apollo's shadow soon moved as out came a ginormous mech statue of a goddess that appeared behind the god.*

Apollo:shall we continue?

Garou:huh. I've seen bigger. Come on then!

*Apollo held his hand up as Artemis made a bunch of light threads soon became a large shining bow bigger then either fighter.*

Apollo:this is Phobos Apollo's ultimate technique!☆

Garou:really now? Go on! SHOOT!

*an arrow of pure sunlight and fire shot through the air faster then light and completely invisible went through the air and burned through garou leaving a hole in his waist as the arrow went into the crowd almost hitting of all people Neptune*

Mars:AUNT! YOUR EAR!

Neptune:..what..what hit me? *sees the hole* Apollo's arrow did this?

*Garou staggered and fell over head first then shot up*

Garou:ow…shit. That hurt a bit. *looks up* not bad man. Looks like I misjudged you.

*Apollo laughed and shot out several arrows.*

Geirölul:FUCK! Garou! I'll become the claws again hold out!

*as the arrows flew garou got into a defensive stance taking several arrows to the legs arms and in his jaw as he wobbled he noticed the arrows burned his healing away and even his fire resistant self was giving way.*

Apollo:you fought well my foe but I must put you down now I shall put you out of your misery.

*the last arrow shot towards the hero and so Garou whacked it away at high speed right by the nymphs that did nothing but mocked him and the other mortals. He swears they called even Mai the woman who made Saturn kneel a weak ugly woman.*

Garou:do you know how pretentious you sound? Put me out of my misery? Do you know who you're talking to? ITS ME DAMNIT! I DONT FICKING CARE! I WORKED TO GET WHERE I AM! I FOUGHT THE MONSTERS! I KILLED EVIL! I! AM! GAROU! A WARRIOR! A FIGHTER! A MONSTER! TREAT ME THE WAY I DESERVE DAMN IT!

*Garou had more arrows shot at him as he Deflected every single one in different directions flying across the crowd almost hitting godkiller mortal gods demigods monster and demons alike.*

Apollo:*laughs* I see I think I might hate you! But I must admit your skills are beautiful.

Garou:you're sounding like a man now.

Apollo;hehe tell me why do you fight? For revenge? Vengeance?

Garou:good? Evil? I reject both! I'm not a hero or a villain! I'm a monster who fights for underdogs everywhere! Human Monster esper it doesn't matter! I'll fight for them!

*Apollo smiles and charges a arrow shot*

Apollo:Let's end this.

*the shot flew as Garou swung his own hand causing the arrow to rip through Apollos arm and the Artemis machine*

Apollo:! Oh! You didn't see the arrow! This must be instinct. I must say you're so thorough! I love it!

*he has the machine extends its arms and making a large bowstring to which Apollo aimed with his working hand as he backed into the string making it out like he'd be an arrow his strongest arrow his all or done move*

Apollo:it's so tense. But I thank you Garou. Geirölul. I've burned my soul ablaze to ashes and from the ashes we've become fully more beautiful! I thank you!

Garou:hehehe just know. You and I will never stop growing and advancing. Who'll take the steps? Who'll advance?

*Geirölul then turned into a large bladded gauntlet with spikes blades and a vortex like design that looked like an all life ending tidal wave of water to cut all that stood infront of it.*

*both then charged*

APOLLO'S SILVER ARROW!

GAROU'S SMASHING TIDAL WAVE CRUSHING!

WHO WILL WAVER?

THE HUMAN MONSTER?

OR THE BEAUTIFUL GOD?

*The duo soon crashed with such force Hiemdall flew into a wall face first and the ground shook Blood came from both sides gasps and yells were heard.*

*both men stood. Garou was on his knees with Apollo's hand turned Arrowhead in his gut but Apollo had Garou's crushing fist in his torso which had been torn up by the attack.*

*both were very injured as Garou looked over.*

Garou:not..bad..I wish I had more energy…wed…get..a..last..wind…

Apollo:such…beautiful souls…I'm glad..so perfect…you fought so well..such valor…I'm glad your souls are truly beautiful. I'm delighted the last thing I saw was you beauties..I'd love to spend more time with you…

*and so Apollos died with a smile on his face and happy tears in his eyes as the human monster fell on his back looking right into the sun as Apollo's soul broke apart and flew right into the star.*

Geirölul:..such a weird shitty god.

Garou:I I think I miss him already…

Both of them:godspeed you magnificent bastard.

*Every nymph cried out for lord Apollo as many if them wanted Garou to die or to suffer for taking their Lord Apollo as the Greek gods stood in admiration of Apollo even Ares the one god who couldn't stand him.*

*and thus the legend of Apollo ended on this day.*
