Do you have any last name headcanons?
I think Clementine's would be Crawford (based on the scrapped internal name for her)
Kenny Hammon (+ Katjaa and Duck)
Lilly's actually would've been Caul if they stuck with her originally being Lilly Caul from the novels and the comic. I still HC her and Larry with that last name to this day.
Carley's would probably be Vigil (after her VA, because slay <;3)
Doug is based on Doug Tobacco, a former Telltale employee, but I feel like our Doug would've probably Jones
(Gonna hop on over to S4)
When I came up with these I was thinking of a Modern/No Apocalypse AU, so:
Louis would be a Sullivan to me.
Marlon gives off Anderson.
Violet gives Thompson vibes.
Tenn and his sisters give Rodgers energy.
Ruby is from the South like me so I HC her with a name like Harrison or Simmons.
Aasim is based on Telltale's Aasim Zubair, but I HC him with the name Barman.
Omar is a God, so I bless thee with the surname Hendricks (and NOT because it a reference to Kendrick Lamar)
Mitch gets the last name Williamson, because my best friend growing up had that last name lol
Willy gets Johnson because it's a double entendre lol.
(BONUS) - Luke gets Porter because we like Scott Porter here lol - Nick would probably be Randall, like his Uncle Pete because I doubt his mother was married. - And I dubbed Travis "Hoffmann" because why not, kek.

Could I ask for single dad or uncle Luke and Nick headcanons, please?
oh my god, I’m a sucker for stuff like this. I’m going to make this for Clementine, but also Sarah (bc season 2). I took a little twist on it, but I hope it’s okay!!
Clementine hated turning to Luke and Nick for advice.
They were like the angel and devil on her shoulders,
Only sometimes they were both the devel.
That being said, as much as she loved them, they were,
What was the right word?
Overprotective.
Clementine made her way to the front door of the ski lodge,
Adjusting her backpack over her shoulders.
Luke turned, catching her before she started down the staircase.
“Where are you going?”
Clementine closed her eyes and stopped.
“Getting firewood.”
“By yourself”
“Sarah is coming with me.”
“Sarah?” Luke and Nick said in unison.
Clementine finally turned around to face them.
She crossed her arms disapprovingly.
Deep down, Clementine knew Sarah wasn’t the best partner to accompany her.
It wasn’t that they hated her,
But she wasn’t able to handle it if something went wrong,
And there was always that risk.
“Well be fine.”
Luke squirmed in his seat.
“I should go with you,” Nick said, getting ready to stand.
“You?” Luke teased, standing first. “You’re kidding,”
Nick scoffed. “What?”
“You suck under pressure, Nick. Come on,” Luke scoffed.
“I used to be.”
“Nick, you’re the same.”
“No, I’m not!” He declared defensively.
By the time their argument came to a pause, Clementine was already gone,
Of with Sarah into some nearby shrubs,
Set to be back before dark.
The two of them were like needy brothers.
But more than that.
They acted as though they had responsibility for her.
Uncles.
Uncles that teased her constantly.
So, regular uncles.
The upgraded form of a brother.
“Hey, Clem, can you take my cooking shift tonight?”
Clem turned Luke’s way and scowled. “Why?”
He gave a sheepish smile.
“Nick and I are in the middle of a crazy game of Monopoly.”
“You’ve got to be kidding.”
“It’s gonna take just a bit too long to finish and it’s going to collide with my cooking time.”
“Are you serious?” Clem asked,
Crossing her arms,
Raising a brow to the sky.
Luke paused.
“Clem, I am so close to kicking his ass.”
Clementine audibly groaned,
Uncrossing her arm and rolling her head in agitation.
“I’ll owe you one.”
“Luke, I already collected wood today.”
“Then I’ll owe you two!”
Without waiting for another answer, he turned on his heels and ran off.
“Thanks, Clem!” Luke called over his shoulder.
Clementine groaned and turned,
Making her way to the kitchen.
She loved them,
Even when she hated them.
At dinner that night, Clem smirked,
Watching the stoic stare of Luke at his dish,
And Nick’s beaming grin.
“How did your game go, guys?” Clem asked,
Devilishly smirking Luke’s way.
He scowled and looked up.
“I totally kicked his ass,’ Nick said triumphantly,
Popping a greedy spoonful of beans into his mouth.
“Only barely,” Luke scoffed.
“That’s not how an ass-kicking works,” Nick teased,
Stealing food from Luke’s bowl this time.
Clementine couldn’t help but snicker.
Karma.
The next day, Luke agreed to go fishing with Clem.
To make up for his failure the prior day.
The deal was he had to carry practically everything back.
But, on the bright side, he got to spend time with Clementine.
He always enjoys her presence.
As they fished, they quietly wished and giggled,
Not wanting to draw any walkers to their location,
But also enjoying their little quips with one another.
Across the river, suddenly, heard a twig snap.
Luke’s head snapped up.
He waited.
Snap! again.
“Clem,” he said cautiously.
Instinctively, Luke walked over to Clementine,
Pushed her behind one of his legs,
And placed a hand on the bow attached to his back.
His other hand lay at his other side, palm open,
Assuring himself that Clementine was still behind him.
“Stay back,” his voice was low and hesitant.
Everything was so fast, Clem barely registered what happened.
“Luke?” She whispered,
Nervously.
Luke set a hand on one of her shoulders,
Keeping her close,
But keeping her out of harm’s way.
“Come on,” Luke said softly.
He kept his eyes ahead as he grabbed their basket of fish,
Then, turned back to Clementine.
“Let’s get out of here.”
Clementine looked up at him,
Cautiously,
Worried.
“Don’t worry,” Luke said softly,
Reassuringly,
Setting a hand on her far shoulder, keeping her close.
“I wouldn't let anything happen to you.”
Clementine felt her chest grow warm,
Remembering how protected she now was with her new group.
Remembering how much she loved them.
Her awkward uncles.
Her little family.

Heyo!
I was wondering if I could request Luke and Nick with a reader they treat like their younger sibling and how they would react when said reader had almost been biten? Like maybe the reader is an early teen, (13-14)
Hi! Sorry it took a few days to reply, but I hope you enjoy this!!:)
Tumblr media
Luke was like your older brother you never had
When you guys met, he tried everything to protect you
But one day, he let you come into the woods with him and he got sidetracked which ended up with the situation you were now in
A Walker had come up behind you and grabbed the back of your shirt
You screamed and Luke came running over
He stabbed the Walker in the head
“Are you ok? No bites?”
Once you confirmed that no, the Walker hadn’t but you, you went back to the cabin
But you did have a few scratches on your arm that Luke bandaged for you
Tumblr media
Nick doesn’t really know how to show affection, but he really did care for you
He was your like your older brother
One day you guys were on a run with a few other group members
You and Nick walked into a building together, unbeknownst to the quiet Walker behind a shelf of food
You went to grab a can when the arm grabbed you
You screamed, Nick came running over to you
He shot the Walker in the head and grabbed your arm
He scolded you, he wasn’t mad just worried
The gunshot alerted the others and they came over to you guys
You all went back to the cabin and Nick patched up your arm

Do you have any headcanons for twdg characters and what they did before the apocalypse?
I think this is more for the elder characters so let's try:
The St. John's were ranchers and farmers obviously, but I think Andy was probably more into heading into the city every now and then.
Luke and Nick were known to be unemployed, I think they lived pretty close to each other with their families. The families were very working class though, so they weren't in a crazy rush especially with their "business" failing.
Ben Paul was probably an alright academic, I like to think that he would try to talk with Clem and Duck about things at the Motor Inn, maybe how school was or what their favorite subjects are.
Speaking of Duck, he would like to bug his father A LOT about the times of fish or all that stuff that he'd check on, but then Duck would totally forget the next day.
We know that Aasim was "cured" right before the apocalypse, but I can assume that the rest of the Ericson's students were either in the middle or nowhere near the "cured" mantle.
Christa wasn't the biggest people person, so I'm not really set on like a job for her, but she seems like a working woman. Omid was super into the "thrill of life" nonsense, and was definitely a little more energetic than he seems in the series. Christa always joked that he'd get himself arrested one day with his reckless driving.
I think Molly was probably in university but would skip her classes often, claiming she was "in no rush to graduate". She'd go out on her own often around the state even, keeping in touch with her sister and even sneaking her out sometimes.
I wish I could think of more but I have a headache 😭 uhhh we'll get back to it soon

I used to run a personal headcanon acc and one of my old faves was that Sarah twdg loves my little pony and keeps a few of the toys in the cabin. She’ll sometimes get the other survivors to play ponies with her. Imagining Luke and Nick playing with colorful ponies to make her happy gives me life idkkk 😭😭❤️
Love the hc was so cute, it immediately made me think of this audio

more twdg season 2 headcanons and baseless accusations (mostly luke)
- The first bit of the apocalypse Nick, Pete and Nick’s mom stayed with Luke and his family until it got overrun by walkers (twd season 2 esque) and then they hit the road and met Carver, so between being isolated on the farm and Carver’s camp they never *really* knew how bad things had gotten until they left (hence why eleven year old Clem who’s been out in the open with Christa so long is more fucking competent than half of them)
- Luke’s machete is actually a family heirloom/was gifted to him, might have his initials or a family name or something engraved on the handle
- Luke moved back home to his small town after college but def did an internship or at least tried to break into something related to his degree- I like to think he might have gone into Art Restoration or Curation
- Nick never had any siblings or cousins really, Pete might have been married once but kids never came of it, he might have gotten divorced when Nick was young and having to step up and be Nick’s father figure didn’t leave him a lot of time for his own family.
- On that note: Nick was always super close to Luke’s parents (and siblings?), having a mom who was probably a working mother he would spend a lot of dinners and sleepovers at Luke’s.
- If Luke does have siblings I can only picture him having sisters- maybe Nick just takes up that brother spot in my mind. If I had to be delulu about it Luke’s probably the middle child, high sense of independence, strong social skills, sharing behaviours etc. But I also think being the only boy in his family and growing up in what was probably a small southern town cultivated his whole leadership skills, even if he doesn’t like confrontation
- Sarah had a horse girl phase- or maybe was one when we meet her in the apocalypse. She also definitely did Kumon.
- Sarah’s mom died pre-apocalypse or in the earlier days, meaning Carlos was always very protective of her from early on and her having anxiety or PTSD as we see in the game clearly lead to him sheltering her but I think the death of her mom either pre or early apocalypse would also add to that
- I like to think that Carver pre apocalypse had a pretty shitty life where maybe he didn’t have a lot of power OR he had jobs where he had a bit of power and it kind of got to his head, like the teacher from The Breakfast Club for example. I think he saw the apocalypse as, obviously a bad thing, but also a way out of his menial life and an opportunity to have powers over others
- I don’t believe the Carver being Luke’s dad theory HOWEVER I do think that Luke’s dad was probably also a gruff n tuff older man, I don’t think he was on Carver’s level but I definitely think that Luke’s dad was a hard-ass southern man (hence “minor in agriculture to make the old man happy”) and I think that would also explain why Luke doesn’t like confrontation despite liking control and a leadership role, I don’t think his dad was abusive or anything and I think Luke probably had a good homelife but I also think that maybe there was a seed of resentment there and some ways that his dad was that was part of the reason why Luke, despite being shown to be conflict avoidant and a mediator “butted heads” with Carver so much and why they seemed to have such a weird beef going on
anyway these are baseless accusations to twdg season 2 characters

TWDG Nick - pre-apocalypse headcanons (childhood and early adulthood)
A/N: I spent a long time imagining what Nick’s past would've been like during childhood and early adulthood, with a particular focus on his school days and the ways he envisioned his future. There’s also a particularly emphasis on his relationships with Luke and Pete since they were such strong influences in his life. This post is pretty long, so a lot of it will be under a cut.
CW: depression and mental illness mentions, bullying mentions, low self-esteem
► Luke was a couple of years older than Nick and two grades above him in school.
► They’d been close friends since very early childhood, though they’d always been quite different in terms of personality and interests. It wasn’t something that mattered much when they were little kids, but their differences were something that they became more and more conscious of the older they got, especially Nick.
► Luke was pretty popular in school. He was involved in sports and clubs, could comfortably fit in with a lot of different cliques and crowds, was a good student, and was loved by the teachers. He was a bit of a jokester but could talk his way out of most trouble since he was charismatic and could charm the teachers and staff.
► Nick had always been an outcast throughout all of his school years. Other kids would treat him like shit, but he had a bit of protection with Luke around since the older boy had made it clear that Nick was his friend. No one wanted trouble with Luke, so they would leave Nick alone. He was mostly alienated, but he would take that any day over having the other boys beat him up after school or giving him hell in the hallways.
► However, whenever the two boys would be in different schools (such as Luke moving up to high school while Nick was still in middle school, or Luke graduating high school a couple of years before Nick), Nick would lose that layer of protection that Luke provided and would go back to being bullied by his peers.
► Nick never performed very well in school. Because of his problems at home, struggles with his mental health, and all of the stress and anxiety he felt at being in school in general because of being bullied, he never really put much mental energy into completing his coursework.
► Which was maddening for his teachers because Nick was a pretty sharp kid and showed so much potential, like he would always score high on standardized tests, but he just wasn’t applying himself in the classroom. He would never participate in class and he skipped a lot of assignments. He would just do the bare minimum to pass with barely satisfactory grades.
► Nick was particularly interested in subjects like literature and history, though it’s not like he really did the work. He rarely participated in class, so every now and then the teachers would call on him for an answer to see whether or not he was actually paying attention. In subjects like literature or history, he would always surprise the teachers with very thoughtful and insightful answers that were much more advanced than what his teachers would expect for a kid at his age or grade level.
► But let’s be real, Nick was very depressed and never imagined being alive into adulthood, so he didn’t put much effort into preparing for his future.
► This all infuriated Uncle Pete and he didn’t know how to handle this type of situation. After every parent-teacher conference or report card, there would invariably be a fight between Pete and Nick.
► They were from a tiny rural town in the south, and most of the locals were unable to pursue high education and ended up with jobs in fields like farming, fishing, carpentry, etc. Pete couldn’t imagine Nick staying in town and doing something like that for the rest of his life. Despite Pete’s attempts to get his nephew to be more “manly,” he always recognized that the kid was sensitive and thoughtful and very much “in his head,” so Pete always imagined that Nick would go off to college and do something more academic. The fact that all of Nick’s teachers said that he had the capacity and ability to do so yet still did so poorly in class because he just didn’t do the work made no sense to Pete, so he would express this frustration through yelling and confrontations.
► Pete chalked it up to Nick being lazy, not really understanding that the kid was severely depressed and had a lot of shit he couldn’t really deal with going on in his head.
► Pete would always bring up Luke in their fights. (“Your buddy Luke is on the baseball team and in that honor society thing and does all his work - gets all A’s, even! Why don’t you take a damn page out of his book?”)
► Every time Pete made this comparison, Nick’s temper would absolutely explode. You think this kid is already pissed off? You haven’t seen him really angry until you point out how much “better” Luke is.
► Yeah, Nick loved Luke, but he was deeply jealous and resentful of his friend. Nick always wanted to be more like Luke and lived in a state of almost constantly comparing himself to the older boy. Deep down, Nick understood that Luke wasn’t perfect and that he had his own flaws and struggles, but Nick couldn’t help but to think that maybe if he had his friend’s good looks and charm and ability to keep going forward, maybe things would be easier. Maybe life wouldn’t be so damn hard.
► Pete tried real hard to turn Nick into his idea of a man, which was very much in line with the stereotypes and expectations of men in the rural south. Nick was never really a tough guy, though. He hated things like hunting and fishing, couldn’t stand sports. He was also pretty sensitive and couldn’t handle all of the physical and emotional roughhousing typical of boys his age at school. This made it difficult for Nick to hang out with Luke when the older boy was with his other buddies, especially the jocks.
► Nick was mostly a loner, especially after Luke graduated, but he got friendly with a couple of the other kids who were also outcasts. Nick really empathized with them and thought they were actually pretty cool and very interesting. Being around them would kind of encourage Nick to follow his own interests and gave him permission to just be himself instead of being the boy that Pete or his other peers expected him to be.
► Nick was a huge fan of music, but he always liked weird alternative things that weren’t popular with the other kids at school. He especially loved older alternative music from the ‘70s and ‘80s like glam rock, punk rock, goth rock, new wave, post-punk, etc. He knew he wouldn’t be able to get away with wearing any sort of fashion remotely reminiscent of these scenes without getting his ass kicked, though, so he just continued to wear the types of clothes that were considered more typical of boys his age.
► Much to Pete’s dismay, Nick would rather collect vinyl records and learn how to fix up vintage turntables he found in thrift stores or at garage sales instead of going hunting or playing sports.
► Nick had like a billion turntables that he fixed up and they completely took over his bedroom. Once they began to spill out into other parts of the house, Pete got pissed and made Nick sell most of them. Nick still kept the one he used to actually listen to his records but then he also kept a couple more that were his favorites, either because they looked really cool or because they were especially hard to fix up and he had a lot of pride over how much work and skill he put into them.
► The tiny town they lived in was about an hour or two away from the nearest major city. Sometimes Nick would catch a ride into the city and go to concerts or hang out at record stores. He got pretty friendly with quite a few people that way, alternative kids who could more easily get away with being different because they lived in a bigger city with more diversity, something Nick really envied.
► Sometimes Nick would bring these friends home to hang out. They looked much more alternative than people who lived around Nick’s town, so Pete was always a little shocked by having these strange young adults in the house. However, despite looking weird, they were always polite and respectful, and Pete noticed that his normally withdrawn nephew lit up around these friends and suddenly became animated and alive, so Pete kept his mouth shut and would always welcome them into his home. As much as he didn’t understand his nephew, Pete really did want to see him happy.
► Luke went to college and Nick didn’t. This was another cause of Nick’s jealousy and it made Nick feel even worse because the cruel little voice in his head told him that he’s stupid and that, yet again, Luke is better than him. Plus, Nick kicked himself for not applying himself more because it was now sinking in just how trapped he felt in his town.
► Nick had big dreams of moving to some place like New York City, London, or Berlin, largely due to the music he listens to and this idealized vision he had of them as being safe havens for people who were different or outsiders. He wanted to go somewhere where he would be exposed to new things and new people and new ideas.
► He mentioned this to Pete at one point, and Pete absolutely ripped his nephew a new one about how it wasn’t a realistic dream. Pete pointed out that Nick would need a lot of money to make a big move like that and how Nick’s job prospects in a big city weren't that good and how he had nothing lined up to support himself even if he did manage to make it out there. Nick decided to prove Pete wrong, even if it took him a while to do it.
► Pete forced Nick into a farmhand job and made him pay rent money to teach him responsibility now that he was out of high school. Nick didn’t make much money, but tried to set aside a little bit every month whenever he could afford it in an attempt to one day fund his moving out to a big city.
► He worked long days of hard physical labor. He stopped going into the big nearby city as often because he was exhausted at the end of the day, so he stopped seeing his city friends as much. He was lonely and isolated.
► Nick would see Luke in the summers when he was on break from college or during holidays. Nick resented all of the fun and new experiences that Luke was having and all of the new friends he was making. It was nice seeing Luke during these breaks, but it felt like they were growing even further apart. At least before Luke had gone off to college, even though the two boys were very different, they at least had their shared experiences of life in the same town. Now that Luke was experiencing so much life beyond town limits, it felt like they were worlds apart.
► When Luke finally graduated from college with a business degree, he came back to town to live with his family for a bit while he planned his next move.
► One evening, Luke and Nick were drinking on Luke’s family’s porch as the sun was setting, shooting the shit about life and their futures. Luke proposed a business idea to Nick, claiming they could make a lot of money with his scheme. Nick was reluctant since that would mean giving up all of his savings that he had intended to use on moving to invest into this business... but Luke has always had that type of personality where he could convince anyone of anything, plus Nick was drunk, so he was sold on the idea of making more money and a chance to maybe leave town.
► Within six months, they were absolutely broke.
► Luke didn’t really care that they went flat broke and that his plan failed. He could bounce back from pretty much anything. Let’s be real, Luke is charismatic and a smooth talker. He’s the type of person would could walk into an office and walk out ten minutes later with an offer for a manager position in a career field where he had absolutely no experience, just because he could talk his way into it.
► Nick? Not so much. He was devastated by this. He was flat broke, no savings, now even further away from his goals of skipping town. He couldn’t bounce back from things as well as Luke. It was back to his shitty farm job. Nick resented that Luke would be just fine and move on to his next big scheme relatively unscathed while Nick wouldn’t.
► Pete, of course, was condescending and have a very “I told you so” attitude, which just rubbed salt in Nick’s wounds.
► At this point, the last shreds of Nick’s hopes and dreams were basically crushed. He began to accept that maybe a guy like him wasn’t meant for greater things and maybe he should stop dreaming for a better life since getting his hopes up would just leave him disappointed and hurting.
► Only after the apocalypse would Nick cynically think to himself about how at the end of the day, none of that shit really ended up mattering since he and Luke both ended up in hell on earth together and both were equally fucked.

Which TWDG Adult would get along with in S4
My brain had a random brainrot moment, so this is who the adults in TWDG would get along with the most out of the Ericson kids + why. I wrote for: Lee, Kenny, Luke + Nick
TW // mentions of implied ED + SH in the "Nick" Section. Lee: Okay so the obvious answer is Clementine. But I'm going to say that he'd get along with Aasim the most, but Tenn is a close second. I feel like Lee would like Aasim's calm nature and can appreciate that the teen wants to document everything. If Lee was still alive, I feel like they would have surprisingly in depth conversations about history and philosophy.
Kenny: My original answer for this was going to be Violet - but I think she actually wouldn't like Kenny all that much and in return he'd be a bit iffy around her. They'd totally kick ass together though. Instead, I think it would either be Mitch or Willy. Mitch because I feel like they have similar ideals and Kenny can respect his "get shit done" attitude, perhaps Mitch is even a bit of a redemption for Kenny when it comes to how he treated Ben. This is similar to how I think he'd get along well with Willy; they have a similar sense of humour and Willy would remind him a lot of Duck (in a more crude way, maybe.) So yeah, Kenny would probably take both of them under his wing as his chaotic gremlin children.
Luke: Louis. It's absolutely going to be Louis. The two of them have a similar sense of humour, and I personally headcanon that Luke was a theatre kid to a degree so I can see Luke showing Louis how to play some songs on the piano. It's probably Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, but we don't talk about that. Also, Luke can get behind the idea of naming your weapons and probably named his machete after that.
Nick: This is a surprising take, but I feel like it would have to be Marlon. At first, it's their friendship comes from the fact they have similar aesthetics (I like to think season 4 Nick would have started to lean HEAVILY into the punk-rock fashion.) They go wild over the fact that they both have mullets, and Nick probably gives some tips to help Marlon's hair look a little bit more presentable. Once Nick starts to realise how stressed Marlon is, and that it's affecting his judgement, I feel like that's when he really starts to relate to the teenager. Nick would try and help Marlon to cope when things get stressful, such as letting him hit pillows, destroy generic stuff and just have a much needed lash out that won't be destructive to himself or the others. If he's able to, Nick would get Marlon into rock music. That being said, Nick also takes a note of whether or not Marlon eats and when he has a drink of water - he's aware that stress can affect your eating which can lead you down a path of potential eating disorders.

Hi! I was the one who requested the Twdg cabin group love confession request and I wanted to say thank you so much for doing my request! I absolutely loved it, I really love the cabin group so it makes me really happy to see someone writing for them 💜
If you don’t mind me asking for another request, could I request some scenarios of the cabin group reacting to their S/O being kidnapped by Carver? Like a scenario similar to what happened in episode 2 where the S/O gets taken by Carver while they’re watching Sarah, and when the group returns back to the cabin Sarah tells them all what happened? (Or something similar to this, doesn’t have to be this exact scenario if you’d like to change it up)
I hope I worded this in a way where it’s not too confusing or anything lol
OOOOOH BOYYYYYY the angst is real here. Ima go with that: when they return and Sarah has to fill them in.
Luke: Luke could feel his heart sink - more so crash - into his stomach. He almost felt as though his legs were going to go weak. “What do you mean ‘took them’?” He asked, voice strained yet soft. Luke turned, staring out the still ajar front door, staring into the trees, wondering where on earth they could be out there. Were they scared? Terrified? Cold? Soaked to the bone? Were they lonely? With Carver, any of those things - or even worse, all of those things -  could be true. He felt his knuckles clench and his jaw tighten. “Grab your gun.” He scoffed under his breath. It was raspy and hoarse. “What?” “Luke, you can’t--” “I said,” Luke said, snapping around and cutting Carlos off. His hands had been ruffling through his hair, causing it to be stressed in every which way. He held out a hand - it was shaking - and sighed. He tried composing himself. “I said grab your gun.” He paused between each word. “There’s no damn way I’m about to let Carver take Y/N. Hell no.” Luke seldom became this aggressive. The group knew, as he stormed up the stairs to pack a bag for the trek, that he was dead serious.
Nick: Nick felt the chaos surrounding him, and someone he was numb to it, and feeling it, all at the same time. “No,” was all he could say, staring out of the ajar door, into the woods. “That fucking asshole.” he cursed under his breath, his fists tightening and his gaze averting to the ground. If he was able to get his hands on him, he would rip him to shreds. “We have to go.” “Nick,” Luke said, voice defeated and pained. He knew Luke was pitying him, and he hated it. “We need to think carefully about this,” “We can’t just let them stay there!” Nick countered. Luke’s shoulders deflated, seeing the agony in Nick’s eyes. “Who knows what they’re doing to them right now. And while that happens we just,” he waved his arms frantically, needing to release some of his anxious energy. “Stay here? Until he comes back?” Nick scoffed and shook his head. “No.” He stormed out of the front door, snagging Pete’s gun off of the front porch, and starting away. He could hear the yells and scolds behind him, but kept going. Not long after, he felt a hand on his shoulder, and there stood Luke. “We’re not letting you do this alone.” Behind him stood the rest of the group, bags packed and hiking on their way. Nick nodded, unable to smile, too focused on saving Y/N.
Pete: Pete didn’t say anything, he stood silently as the others asked questions. He couldn’t bring himself to speak or move. All he could think was ‘how could he?’ He wasn’t surprised Carver would stoop to such a level. He was just furious. Without a word, he grabbed his gun from by the front door and started outside. “Pete?” “Pete, stop!” He could hear the group calling after him, asking where he was going. Before he knew it, he felt a firm hand on his shoulder. “I’m going.” He was firm when he flipped around, spitting the phase into Nick’s phase. Nick didn’t react at first, just nodded. “That’s why we’re coming with you.” Behind him, Pete spotted the others slowly gathering their things, trying to prep. He said nothing, but he could feel the love swell in his chest. “I’ll get ahead.” And with that, Pete started off.
Carlos: Carlos’ heart flipped, going weightless for a brief moment, as if he was having an out of body experience. “What?” He leaned in, as though he was having trouble hearing. In reality, he just wanted to deny that he’d heard anything at all. “He took them.” Sarah said again, voice trembling more this time. Carlos attempted to comfort her as best he could, but he felt numb. Every fibre, and every inch. Sarah drew close, clinging to his jacket and crying. He placed a weak hand on her back, his gaze drifting out the door, mind in a million places other than the cabin living room. He gulped hard, trying to force back the pain, but he knew everyone was staring at him. They could tell. Pete placed a hand on his shoulder “We’re going after them, alright?” he said softly, hoping to encourage him without further panicking Sarah. “This isn’t over. We won’t let it be.” Carlos could feel a tear escape, but just nodded, biting the inside of his cheek to distract himself from the crushing pain.
Rebecca: Rebecca could feel herself ready to faint. Just as she could feel her knees start to give way, Carlos and Luke grabbed her, steadying her upright once again. “You can’t be serious,” she said weekly, voice threatening to break. She couldn’t tell if she was angry, devastated, grieving, or all of the above, crashing into her head all at once. “We can’t let him.” She urged, standing upright, attempting to regain her stability. “We can’t let Carver win again.” She could feel tears clambering up in the back of her throat. “Not like this. Not with Y/N!” Her voice broke more and more with every word. Luke tried to keep her steady, hoping she would remain as calm as possible. Rebecca finally lost her grip, fell to her knees, and sobbed. It was certain death to go after them, but definite torture if she didn’t. She couldn’t win. Every fibre of her being ached.
Alvin: Alvin could feel his stomach tighten and his fists clench. “No way,” was all he could manage to force out. “Alvin,” Carlos said lowly, “I’m sorry.” “Don’t be.” Alvin spat back, turning around. “I’m bringing them back,.” “What?” Luke asked, stunned. “You can’t do it alone.” “Then join me.” Alvin seldom ever spoke this directly. He seldom ever spoke so intensely that you could hear the gruff in his vocal chords. He was livid. He was fuming. Luke relaxed his shoulders, watching as Alvin stormed deeper into the brush. “If you’re coming, pack your stuff.” He said, darting after Alvin. “I can’t lose them, Luke.” He said, so quietly Luke almost wasn’t able to hear. “I can’t.” Luke said nothing, just walked silently beside him and nodded. Alvin had the floor. Alvin made the rules. And when Alvin was angry, no one should ever dare cross him.

Id love if you could maybe write headcanons or fic of Nick/reader where he initially did not like the reader but the reader was kinda the only person who was good at helping him handle his anxiety and self esteem issues? Like how does he feel about the reader/does he ever feel guilty etc. sorry if it’s hard JEJSOSJ love ur stuff 💖!
Hi! I hope you like this, and I’m so glad you like my writing!:)❤️
Tumblr media
At first Nick didn’t like you
He didn’t really like anyone, but especially you
But one night he was having a panic attack
No one usually noticed or helped him calm down
But you noticed
And you helped him calm down
He was surprised
And he felt so guilty about hating you before
He tried to be nicer to you after that night
But he didn’t want to outright be all Buddy Buddy with you
So he stuck to just ignoring you
You thought he hated you
He really didn’t
He just didn’t know how to express that he didn’t hate you
Even though you thought he hated your guts you still always helped him if he was anxious or having an attack
If he was having low self esteem problems you always made him feel better about himself
Even with little compliments, he always noticed what you said and remembered it
Eventually he gave up on pretending to hate you
He was nicer to you
And he always apologized about how he acted before
You guys became very close
And you obviously forgave him

DATING NICK WOULD INCLUDE:
Tumblr media
-He's insecure. Constantly. He always needs reassurance but it'll take a lot of reassuring your reassurance to REALLY reassure him that he's doing great
-And no PDA, at all. It makes him really nervous and he really likes to act tough.
-"I didn't know you two were a couple!" Is probably a common thing to hear, even from your closest friends.
-Like even Luke. Especially Luke. Yall know that one Scooby Doo season where Shaggy and Velma start dating but Shaggy tries desperately to keep it a secret from Scooby? Yeah it's exactly that.
-He's horrified of telling people you're dating because after his mom died, he's scared of losing you too. He figures if he acts nonchalantly in front of the others, if one of you lost the other, you could move on quickly without constantly reminding him or you of it often and making it worse.
-He's very protective over you. Won't let anyone touch you, will actually lose his shit and point a gun at them, yelling that they need to back off right now and give you your space.
-Will always try to walk in front of you in case anything or anyone jumps out at you two.
-You'll have to be the one to say "I love you" first. He'll be so stunned he won't say it back. He'll just leave and come back a week later and be like "yeah- I uh- I love ya too or whatever"
-Nick worries about being too cold to you in public so he tries really hard to be romantic when you're alone.
-He'll be very cliche about everything and only realize have way through planning, and then wanting to throw everything away and forget about it.
-Things like a candle lit dinner with champagne (or moonshine, since he probably got some from the shack), with little scraps of paper that are supposed to look like rose petals leading the way to the table.
-Will also do a lot of little acts of kindness for you, like heating up water and filling the bathtub so you can have a hot bath, or cleaning your guns and knives for you.
-Will pretend he has no clue what you're talking about when you thank him, he's not used to being appreciated so he doesn't take compliments or thank yous very well.
-You have to initiate pretty much everything, cause he never wants to cross a boundary with you or make a mistake.
-He might kiss you first though. He'd still ask for permission first. (First kiss with consent >>> first kiss being a surprise/used to interrupt the person)
-He's very loyal and loves you a lot, but especially at the start of your relationship he gets very defensive very quickly. You have to get him used to letting his gaurd down and relaxing around you because he's afraid of messing up.
Andd that's all I have. Writing in this app sucks so bad- see ya

ghost stories
It’s the 13th of October and I’m just now doing the prompt from the 4th and yes this is how bad I have gotten at trying to write something each day. This one has got our good bros from Season 2 being giggly bitches.
It’s set in Episode 5: No Going Back when the gang is at the power station before the unfinished house. Thank you @stop-breaking-my-heart-telltale for making the challenge and making me get off my ass and write.
Summary:
After everyone else has gone to sleep at the power station, Luke and Mike get tipsy and decide to pass the time by telling spooky tales.
Enjoy!

Things Telltale Could Have Done With Sarah and Nick:
Instead of killing them for no reason. (The serious version)
Sarah:
Have Sarah ask Clementine to make her into a survivor after she saves her, which will give you the option to cut her hair as well as teach her about using a gun if you haven’t already.
At the beginning, she has more than a couple breakdowns, including in the shoot out with Russian group, but tries her best to stay calm and help.
Empathizes with and befriends Arvo during his short time with the group.
Bonnie, Mike and Arvo possibly offering her to escape with them but rejecting the offer because she wants to stay with Clementine.
Is given a bit of medical knowledge, either from Carlos educating her himself or from her observing him after all these years. She finds medical books that she starts reading on a daily basis and even helps Clementine with her gunshot wound in episode 5. She ends up becoming the doctor of the group in season 3.
Despite learning of the horrors of the world, Sarah remains kind, enthusiastic and non-aggressive, well still being able to fight for herself. Proving that good people don’t need to change to survive the apocalypse.
Learns from Lingard during her short time in the New Frontier. (If she lives)
The New Frontier refusing to let her leave with Clementine due to her medical abilities.
Using her as a bargaining chip so Clementine doesn’t attack or double cross them after being kicked out.
Is either killed during a flashback or revealed to be long killed by The New Frontier for treason as a sad plot twist. (trying to get AJ back to Clementine, trying to escape)
Nick:
Nick arguing and putting Luke in his place after he sleeps with Jane, giving the guy a serious reality check.
Trying to be there for Rebecca after she gives birth, noticing how ill and emotionally drained she is, and mourning her after her death.
Confronts Kenny during those little times where Kenny is aggressive to Clementine (blaming her for sarita.etc)  and berates Luke
Carrying Luke after he gets shot in the leg, even with his own gunshot wound in the shoulder. He tells the group to prioritize Luke’s gunshot over his.
Tries to avoid getting close to AJ but fails, terribly.
Uncle figure to AJ. Older brother figure to Clementine.
Gets sentimental with Luke and Clementine about the good ol’ days with the cabin group during Luke’s Birthday.
Either saves Luke along with Clementine when they fall into the water, have there be a choice between saving him or Luke, or he sacrifices himself to save Luke (and Clementine?)
If he lives, he nearly CRIES when Clementine gets shot because he thinks she’s died. Then later on he and Luke joke with her about the fact they all have matching gunshot wounds
Have the Jane ending option, the Kenny ending option, the alone option, the wellington option, AND a Luke and Nick option, where they bring AJ and Clementine back to the cabin.
He, Luke and Clementine arrive back at the cabin and all of them flat out breakdown and start crying, looking like idiots as they start trying to comfort eachother well they’re all sobbing and its all a big mess of tears.
