Underrated Mega Man Charater #3

Serenade.EXE aslo known as the Underking is quite possible the strongest Net Navi in the Battle Network series, yet he seems to be forgotten by most in the community. They acted as a super boss in battle network 3 and I love their design. Serenade is a sort of internet God but unlike the actual internet is kind and merciful on their enemies. They seem to never be at their full strength seeming relaxing during their boss fight.

Such a powerful and awesome net navi, and guess who their operator is...

A 10 year old kid in a wheel chair. The fact that Serenade is Ultimate Netnavi that could very well end the World but is content to just help out their operator a lot about serenade. They're one of my favorite Navis in the series and deserve to get remembered more.

(Aslo unrelated but might as well mention Serenade is Non-Binary so good on the BN devs for representation)

For those who have reblogged or liked my post about transgender representation in ‘Xena: Warrior Princess’, I’d like to make it clear that I am a transgender and non-binary ally but I don’t always like using gender identity labels for anything other than clear communication. I’ve written extensively about how I don’t believe in identity really at all for myself - but I do acknowledge how important it is for others. And when I say I don’t believe it - I don’t just mean gender. I do not believe in separate and external identification - which means I do not believe in assigned identity. Only personal and the sentient experience behind it.

If I post or say anything that offends or insults you - please reach out to me and tell me because sometimes I just don’t know if what I write is insensitive or not. I certainly don’t mean for it to be. I’m just very passionate about learning and understanding these things and sometimes my passion gets the better of me. So please tell me because I never want anyone to feel invalidated by my posts. I am a cisgender ally and part of the LGBTQ community as a queer/bisexual individual, I’m just not very good at explaining or articulating myself in such a way that doesn’t come across as invalidating people’s sexuality or gender identity. I really do not mean to. I just have very specific and complicated beliefs and philosophies that make me perceive things differently.

I don't have names for any of those guys^, mostly because I made them but I wasn't making them based on characters. Top right(purple hair) is trans Ftm, bottom right(blue hair) is non-binary and also a vampire. Top left I have no idea what inspired him, I just went through putting things together and was like "Oh that's good!" Same thing with bottom left, so think of them what you will.

give me ace characters who are unabashedly sexy and flirtatious.

give me aro characters who are emotional and clingy.

give me bi characters who can't even make eye contact with anyone, let alone flirt with them.

give me pan characters who are deadpan (haha get it) and have black cat energy.

give me non-binary characters who dress completely femme or masc, who don't “look non-binary”.

give me trans characters who don't completely pass as their gender but are still respected and not the butt of a joke.

fuck the stereotypes, give me more variety in queer representation.

In all seriousness, the non binary representation in this season is probably the best nonbinary representation I have ever seen in media.

Starting from Aziraphale not assuming Muriels pronouns and referring to them with they/them like it's the most normal thing in the world.

To Crowley (and Shax) using Beelzebubs pronouns so so so effortlessly.

No major talks like "What do you mean they?""I'm not a he/she I'm a they.""Huh? A what?" "Mom, dad *major inhale with tears streaming down their face* I'm non binary"

No "I'm non binary and it is so so so difficult whatever will I do with my life."

Beelzebub not needing to correct or remind anyone of their pronouns.

Misgendering being completely defenestrated

Non binary people being in the background and also being in the spotlight

Non binary people actually having personalities, feelings, thoughts and their own problems and not just being there for the character progression of cis people. (Or as a cash grab)

Just non binary people naturally existing. It's beautiful.

Edit: ALSO one of the two main characters (the two BOTH being actually non binary, like dafuq? You don't have that ANYWHERE else) outwardly stating they're non binary in a very casual and not at all heavy way

And the different types of non binary being recognised. He/him Crowley and Aziraphale, they/them Beels, Saraqael and the magic shopkeepers' spouse (both of whom are polyamorous!), she/they God, he/they Satan etc.
