State Department’s Passport Suspension: Impacts on Trans Americans In a troubling development for transgender and nonbinary Americans, the State Department has halted the processing of passport applications that seek to update gender markers. This action follows an executive order from President Donald Trump, signaling the administration’s opposition to gender diversity. The suspension impacts…

I don’t like people who say they instinctively don’t trust anyone who’s AMAB or presents as masc, not even letting that person prove their character and just assuming the worst of them from the moment they see them.
Why don’t you instinctively dodge this upper cut fuck head??? I’m blowing you up with my mind.

I've determined that my relationship to groups of straight men is I'm like a cute little monkey that can do tricks for them (ex. at a party at uni one time one of the guys brought like a 5kg(?) dumbbell from his room and had me try n lift it with my tiny E-based spaghetti arms, and when I labourously managed to they all cheered), or like- when I wanna say smth, they'll shush their other lads like "yo, shut up, the monkey's gonna talk! I wanna hear what it has to say!", like they don't sexualise me (cause issa monkey) but they're still endeared to me (cause is tiny and cute)
like you know those capuchin monkeys that people put in little outfits, that's what lads see when they look at me
it's giving freak show (affectionate) a little bit, but I think straight men not being interested in me while still being nice to me is possibly the best nonbinary deal I coulda gotten out of this

wait ok so peppermint patty and marcie are peak. I love them and they should kiss okay. But also out of curiosity are there any other ships that scratch your brain itch....... I'm curious
the closest thing to another ship in my au i ever thought about is that. charlie brown (bi/pan) is a hopeless romantic who wants to get married really badly but ends up just kind of being roommates with his aroace buddy linus for like 20 years due to inertia. it's not romantic or a qpp situation or anything they just kind of perpetually hang out, often next to some sort of wall

The refusal of fandom transfobes to acknowledge that Kris is nonbinary is yet another form of disregarding Kris' own individuality and identity, seeing them as just a puppet for the player's experience and not as an individual, which is the entire point of Kris' drive as a character (trying to break free of the control the player has on them, the symbolism of looking for freedom yet not being able to reach it all secret bosses embody, etc). By stating "Kris' gender is up to the player" you are DIRECTLY playing the part of the puppeteer the game potrays the player as, even if you've done it involuntarily. Regardless of whether you've chosen to be pacifistic or not, or the choices you've made, to disregard the idea that Kris as a character has a nonbinary identity beyond the player's control is to believe that the player's will should be stronger than that of Kris themselves.
But we arent ready to hold that conversation yet.

At some point, I think people have to contend with the fact that misgendering isn't a completely a universally agreed upon concept in the specific sense that misgendering can be very personal.
What may be misgendering to you will not be to other trans people - even if they have the same gender as you. You may be misgendered if somebody used the wrong label to describe you (e.g., somebody calling you "girl," even if it is slang), but that does not mean that that will apply to everybody.
It's important to recognize this because so often, people will say things like, "you can't use this label/phrase/term for any trans person who is a [gender]! And if any trans person who is a [gender] uses those labels/phrases/terms, they're wrong and bad!" and that is simply too broad a generalization.
It's fine to be uncomfortable with certain things like this. It is fine if you don't want to be misgendered, and indeed, I share in that sentiment. However, that does not mean that your comforts and discomforts apply to all trans people or all trans people who share your gender. There's a difference in that, I think.

Yeah thanks for “weeding out followers you don’t want” by saying trans men don’t deserve a word to describe the specific way transphobia impacts them. They absolutely get impacted by transphobia in a unique way. They deserve their own word even if you don’t think misandry (which btw is a problem it’s just not a systemic problem) is something that matters. Often trans men get harassed for wanting to enter “women’s spaces” that are actually queer spaces, reproductive health spaces, or maybe he isn’t sure he’s safe in the mens bathroom (and tbh mens rooms also have a reputation of being disgusting)
Trans men get regularly erased from history and are also majorly lacking in fictional representation. They may feel discouraged from coming out or transitioning because of people spouting off things about men being evil and bad (which btw is radfem behavior, proper feminism doesn’t hate men for the crime of being men, because there is no crime there. People don’t choose to be men, they either accept that they are (no gender introspection, feel no need to question it) or they discover they are. Harassing people and assigning malice because of something they cant control isn’t good no matter the target.
Also TME and TMA are stupid terms that are just creating a false binary. No one is excluded from being impacted by any form of bigotry especially online. Bigots don’t care if my birth certificate has an F on it, they see me caring about my pronouns and see the she part and assume I’m trans just from that. Even my voice isn’t enough to prevent getting the exact kind of harassment trans women face, I’ve been harassed over that online too for daring to ask people not to use he/him for me in online games.

I kinda see where cis people come from when they say "feel free to correct me if (when) I misgender you" but also i don't really need your permission to advocate for myself. how condescending is it to tell a trans person its okay for them to correct you? to quietly and repeatedly ask for basic respect? also is it just me or does it feel like they are placing the responsibility on *your* shoulders, the person being disrespected, to correct them? is it too much to ask you learn how to correct yourself? while not making a scene about it?

Meet the twins!
Shayll (on the left) is an archeologist and belongs to my friend Mike
Shisst (on the right) is a paleontologist and belongs to me
These two are completely inseparable and almost impossible to tell apart. They actually relish the confusion that causes, and prefer to be thought of as a singular, chaotic entity.
Despite that, Shisst and Shayll have very distinct personalities. Shayll loves adventure and tends to be more outgoing. They document their excavations in a journal, writing the details like a pulp adventure novel. They also specialize in ancient languages.
Shisst is a little bit more shy and takes their work a little more seriously. They prefer to fill their journal with drawings, rendering what ancient creatures may have looked like based on the fossils they find.
The twins come from a family of geologists, hence the names. They also have an older brother named Slaytt, who studies magic crystals. Slaytt and the twins had a bit of a sibling rivalry growing up, but they've grown very close as adults. Slaytt is the only one who can reliably tell the twins apart, even if they try to trick him.

Also dyke is a slur not a label and you shouldt use it unless you are LESBIAN or SAPPIC. It can be pretty harmful so please dont do that:(

So often, twink death is framed as a bad thing. However, the "twink death" for trans men* is frankly one of the most healing things you will bear witness to (pun intended).
