Unzip the downloaded folder and place the tray files into your Sims 4 Tray folder, which can be found at Documents » Electronic Arts » The Sims 4 » Tray. Can also download from the gallery (gallery id: simplug)
Place cc files from the cc folder into the Mods folder located at Documents » Electronic Arts » The Sims 4 » Mods.
Make sure to download all the custom content and sliders in the cc folder or else your sim will look different than mine

Thank you.💗
I started this piece just before Thanksgiving with the theme of gratitude on my mind. (Yes, I’m very behind in uploading my backlog of art publicly 🫣)
Even though there have been challenges, and the 2024 started off rocky for me, I still look back at it and feel incredibly lucky and grateful, especially in relation to how things have gone with chasing this crazy art dream.
I feel so thankful for every bit of support from you guys and especially from my patrons! You really don’t know how much of an impact it makes on my life, what I’m able to create, and how honored I am to have you here for however long you decide to stay. I wish I could better express in words the overwhelming gratitude that I feel when I think about each individual person who appreciates my work enough to support it.

Wayfarer 2024 Roadmap
It’s the start of a new year and I’m excited to announce my plans for Wayfarer’s development.
The primary focus for 2024 is finishing Episode 3 and starting Episode 4. My goal has always been to get the alpha build to the point where it is one episode ahead of the public build, and forcing my way through this period has been very difficult. Episode 3 has turned into a more challenging endeavour than I anticipated due to its sheer size and complexity. I did not intend to take over a year to finish it, but if I’ve learned anything from the creative process it’s that it is unpredictable and things never go according to plan.
The 2024 roadmap is for an idealized scenario. I am hoping I have given myself enough wiggle room should things go off-course. With that in mind, the plan for the last 6 months of the years is an estimate and will likely change. Regardless, the goal remains the same: finish Episode 3, finish Episode 4, and release Episode 3 publicly.
Winter • January to March
This quarter will be focused on finishing the next stages of Episode 3. Episode 3 is divided into 4 parts:
Part 1: the beginning of the episode, following the routes that occur if the player ends Episode 2 with Aeran or Veyer. This part is finished and was added to the alpha build in May 2023. It includes over 300,000 words of playable content.
Part 2: the beginning of the episode, following the routes that occur if the player ends Episode 2 with Melchior, alone, or drunk. This part was skipped over and will be returned to at a later date.
Part 3: the middle of the episode, split into three different routes that eventually bottleneck at a specific point. This part is currently in-progress, with Route 1 nearing completion.
Part 4: the episode finale
January and February will be devoted to writing Episode 3 Part 3, which includes finishing Route 1 and completing Routes 2 and 3. In March, I will code that material and playtest it. Once it has been thoroughly playtested, it will be added to the alpha build (playable on my Patreon).
March will also see an update to the public build. Patch 2.7. will not add any new content, but it will patch reported bugs in Episodes 1 and 2 and update some quality of life issues.
Spring • April to June
This quarter will be focused on writing Episode 3 Part 2, the Episode 3 finale, and coding and playtesting all of the remaining material. Should all go according to plan, the Episode 3 alpha will be finished at the end of June. All routes will be playable for members of my Patreon.
The next round of playtester applications will open in May. Playtesters are volunteers who play the alpha build in search of bugs, continuity errors, and typos. They get first access to new content, and updates and patches before anyone else does. Because Wayfarer’s gameplay includes hundreds of choices and many, many variations that build on each other, playing multiple times and checking different options is essential for testing to ensure each area of the game functions as intended.
In June bonus content (short stories, writing tutorials, worldbuilding and lore posts, etc) will return to my Patreon. It is currently on a break, but the backlog of extras and specials are available to members of the Apprentice tier.
Summer • July to September
If the Episode 3 alpha is finished on time, this quarter will start the development of Episode 4. Episode 4 is divided into three separate routes that have no-crossover and each feature a main companion. Alexia’s (Route A) will be worked on in August and Ren’s (Route B) will be worked on in September.
This is an estimated timeline and is subject to change.
Fall • October to December
The last quarter will see the end of Episode 4’s development. This includes Calla’s route (Route C) and additional coding and playtesting. A second round of playtester applications will open in October. If all goes well, December will see the release of the Episode 4 alpha on Patreon and Episode 3 will launch on the public build.
This is an estimated timeline and is subject to change.

WHAT IS BLENDER EDITION?
Blender Edition is a special edition that has more texture space (usually 2048x2048) and can be used only in Blender due to different UV Mapping. This edition allows you to create renders with more quality and flexibility than models exported from the game itself.
Archive with this edition contains .blend file, diffuse textures, normal maps and tutorials on how to use it.
IMPORTANT NOTE:

I am so sorry this preset has to be behind a pay window for over a month, but there is a creator who consistently steals my esthetic, ideas, creations, character likeness, story ideas, and my original Moon Milk preset [that's been tweaked to be "theirs" not mine, and is in direct violation of my TOU] and I am so tired of having my work taken from me that I need to protect it as best I can. Since there's nothing I can do about it (and there's an extreme uptick in copying via The Sims community), the best thing I can do is advise the community to be aware of the original creator and never support someone who knowingly copies. I have been doing this for over three years, and I put my heart and soul into my content. It is my entire career and I have to take higher measures in protecting not only my hard work, but my mental health.

The year is coming to a close! And as it does and we prepare to move forward, what better way to see how much progress we've made than by looking back to the path we've walked?
This has been a year full of adventures for Ako and the players of Feel Less! So many, in fact, that it's easy to forget all the progress we've made. In my particular case, as I was planning this retrospective, I tried to remember everything we did in 2024 and my conclusion was "I'm pretty sure we introduced like... one new character". But actually going through the archive, we see that the first update of 2024 was all the way back in Update 17: Call The shots. The one where Ako, Angie, and [REDACTED] go to downton Ad Portas in search of Machine Girl, and they have to decide what 3 places they can visit during the day.

This is the part of the story that leads to the introduction of about half the cast! Including two extremely important ones: Tsumiki Ningyou, the 2ndary protagonist, and Shirou Buranka, the main antagonist. Let's see all the other people we got to meet this year!

But not only did we meet new friends and foes, we also moved Ako's life forward, didn't we~? Now, I know it's hard to realize the impact you've had in the story without knowing what might have been. Just like in real life, it might appear as if we're just being brought along for the ride during a linear story. However!! Just like in real life, we're actually following a very specific path set by our environment and shaped by our decisions. Let's see what major player decisions led to big story changes this year!

You know, when I was planning out the story I didn't really expect each "stage" of it to take place during a year, but that's pretty much what happened! During 2023, we mostly did tutorials and introductions of concepts important to the setting and gameplay. During 2024, we got some bigger changes, alterations to the status quo, and introductions of major players for the unfolding events! And during 2025, the story will move forward even more into what I consider to be the "main dish" of Feel Less~ After all, there's still a couple questions that are left unanswered...

And these are but a few! Outside of player decisions, I've already got a lot of story planned out in advance~ So please look forward to meeting new characters, new locations, learning new answers, and new confrontations in 2025!!

How To Create And Upload A Sims Dump Using The Sims 4 Tray Importer
If you’re a PC player and a Custom Content lover like me, you probably know your way around Tumblr and Patreon. Have you ever seen Sim dumps?
Sim dumps are when a player creates a Sim (or several Sims) and upload them to either Patreon, SimFileShare, Google Drive or another file upload platform, and it’s always a .zip file that contains the files necessary for the Sim and their respective CC to show up in your game.

so, i don't usually crosspost these posts, but this week's update on patreon is available to everyone and I know I have a bit of a larger following on tumblr, and I'd really like everyone on the same page so I'm dropping all I have to say here too.
good evening friends!! i hope you're all doing well! welcome to the first update of 2024. momentous for me personally, because this is the year we finish larkin. i am making this post available to all patrons, (paid or not) because I'd really like to start 2024 on the right foot with everyone aware of the road ahead. i am so determined to get it done you have no idea. this is my year. 2024, i christen thee: the year of the vampire cowboy.
okay, so big things ahead, lets talk about the update, explore some of the features we have in the game, plans for this weekends release, the schedule and a couple other things.
so, if you've played at all with the new version of the game, you'll take notice that it's a little bit different than my first image of the game. at first larkin was just a straight interactive fiction following the likes of cog like games, with choices and avenues and split stats and the like. but now, as of 2024 (crazy) we're seeing a game that is more reminiscent of a ttrpg, like dnd or cyberpunk, with stats, classes and dice rolls. admittedly, the very first encounter of the game is well (it's a little rigged) the game, of course, could not really get started if the preacher gets cooked before they've even made it to nevada, so, the odds are a little bit stacked in the players favor this round, but at least, it gives you a little bit of a taste of whats to come. to dive into the specifics of what's important with this first encounter (or just, how to avoid getting your ass really kicked) these first few rolls give bonuses to players with high dexterity and athleticism—-but that's not to say you need to make your character beefed up in these departments. each stat will get their time to shine later down the line.
but let's talk about what i'm really excited to discuss: classes. so with the new version of larkin, i've introduced a system of classes that operate somewhat like your standard dungeons and dragons class, but with a little bit more of that classic background from the original ttrpg mixed in—coloring the way your character sees the world of the game, sort of how a race might effect a dnd character--(a dwarf player is going to have a much different worldview than say, an elf.) for this i was heavily inspired by games like dragon age origins and baldur's gate, and while I do have those original background ready to be dropped a little bit later on the game in relation to your character's perspectives on the abrams family, I really like how these have come to form.
in total there are seven new classes: con-man, outlaw, healer, thief, gambler, showman and slayer. each of these classes warps the perspective of the player character, giving them new motivations, dialogue options, and affects their relationships with the other characters in the game and the world around them. to illustrate this, I'm thinking of making a little bit more of an in depth explanation screen to be added to saturday's update to really get that point across, but I'm still toying with how I want to phrase the specifics of it. what i might do is something similar to baldur's gate with little pop-up tutorials that can be turned off/on depending on how you'd like to play.
to give an example of some of the more in depth motivations/choices each class offers lets talk about the thief and the outlaw classes. the thief class i am especially excited for, because like the con-man class and similar to a few others, it really allows your character to be very money/materialistically motivated. it opens up routes later in the game, like romancing one of the sokolovs—with motivations reminiscent of gold-digging (hehehe very excited for that—i think it will be very fun to write—because you have this idea of a cold hearted player who is entering into a relationship with them strictly for business, versus a cold hearted player who is in it for the cash but also. might be falling in love with one of the sokolovs? ((a lot of fun dynamics afoot here.)) the outlaw class is also one i'm excited to work with because it really puts something of a strain on the preacher and wyatt's relationship—-mostly because you see a strong division in terms of their ethics—the preacher in that case is very 'do what you gotta do to survive,' whereas wyatt believes (key word—believes) he's living by some sort of moral code—that he's failed to instill in the person he views as his child. so like there are layers here boys. layers of resentment, failure—to connect, to teach, to bond. a final tidbit about the slayer class before I move on: if you would really like to play into the enemies to lovers trope with one of the vampires, I would highly recommend giving your player this class ((that's all I'll say))
so: saturday, that takes us to the bar, where each class will get a unique scene, similar to how the scheming tactic section worked in the original game. we're gonna finish up the encounter with the first vampires, meet our guild pursuers and move to the bar. I'm planning also to implement the character customization here—(sort of a way to prep before the player heads out to the bar.) most likely won't get to all classes by saturday's code, but after that, I'm planning to release again on next wednesday, so we're keeping on track. I'd really like to give a full picture of customization for the player character, with all the original options for physical appearance (i might keep clothes vague for now though and let you dress your character later on, until you get a taste of the inventory/bartering system-—you have to deal with MY poor fashion choices for a little bit.) but that being said, about character customization, if there's something that's lacking here and you'd like to suggest an addition I'd be all ears. This is what I'm planning to implement so far:

body type*
hair color
hair texture
hair length
hair style**
height
skin details (acne, scars, vitiligo, rosacea)
facial hair
make-up
piercings
eyewear (glasses, no glasses, eyepatch, prosthetic eye)
gender-affirming customization (for ex. use of binding)
* a note on the body type section, I kind of had this idea of digitally drawing some silhouettes of different heights, shapes and sizes, and allowing the player to click through arrows to select a rough estimation of what their body-type might look like. I'm going to do an art dump later this month, and I have a few sketches of what I'd kinda like to do with that, but I'm still toying with it, because even that could be a little limiting in terms of options. if any of you had thoughts on that, I'd love to hear them.
**I think it might also be cool to kind of have drawings of different hairstyles available to the characters, arranged in the card formats like the previous gender options in that same red colored sketch format.
speaking of art though--and this is purely tangential so I apologize, I'm sure you've taken notice of some of the art being repetitive--for the moment that's purposeful. I'm planning to commission some work for the cards to be implemented in a later update--so what you're seeing are just placeholders for now.
okay! with saturday's notes out of the way, plans for the rest of the week. I need to finish the timeline and then I need to make it readable to people other than myself. it is currently incomprehensible and of the few people that have gotten their eyes on it only one (1) could make sense of my mad ramblings. (shout out to friend of the game bianca from exiled from court if any of you are familiar with her or her stuff, we are  big bianca fans here.) After that I need to do some edits with the new update and such, and poke at the code.
Tonight after I post this, I'm specifically working on sending a few more emails to betas (know that sending emails is. my personal hell because of intense social anxiety. BUT we must persevere. emails will be sent tonight.) after that, I have to work on the phillip/kc/sam schedule + calendar for this month, just to keep the three of us on the same page. I'm in the process of looking at some stamps.com printers for sending out packages with this next round of physical rewards and ordering the merch (hehehe)
okay. super long update for our first one of the year, but I am so excited to get to keep working with you guys :) i'd like to thank you all for your continued support and I can't wait to show you more of the little universe i've crafted :)

Today's Tynk! Update is all text, so you can read it here:
Talking about my experience looking for publishers, and the circumstances surrounding development at the moment.
One full year into the publisher-search gauntlet.
A little over a year ago I entered into some promising conversations with a few publishers about Tynk!
While I initially was hoping to avoid publishers entirely, I was recovering from a year full of disasters and was in the process of paying the 10k+ cut of my campaign funds in taxes. It was becoming increasingly clear that I wasn't going to be able to develop the game full time without some additional financial buoyancy.
Some of the publisher conversations fell by the wayside quickly, but a few remained active for months on months. It's impossible to really communicate the deep time that these conversations operate on, especially if you're not interested in accepting the boilerplate terms (please, never accept the boilerplate terms.) I've been aching to be more transparent about this element of the development process but frankly I haven't been able to while these conversations were happening - it's hard to negotiate one's pay if you're posting about desperately needing money to make your thing. I've been keeping a poker face as best I can while I ride this stuff out.
But, you can tell this update isn't called "Guess Who I Just Signed With ;)" - these conversations all withered to dead ends. I had been relatively optimistic about the success of these negotiations but in the past few months things turned sour. I can't fully know why things didn't work out. Some had alluded to the current harsh winds blowing through the industry, others were more enigmatic with their falloff in interest.
So what do we do?
The more I've worked on Tynk! the more I've loved it, but I won't deny that it is a big undertaking. I'm still interested in finding a publisher to speed things along - but since I'm suddenly back at square one I'm going to need to establish some other avenue of stability while I cast my line and wait for a nibble.
I don't know what my next move is. I'll be chipping away at Tynk! as always, but my current circumstances might require I give it less priority for long enough that I can produce something much smaller that I can actually sell. I've also been considering setting up a Patreon where I occasionally do tutorials on concept design, pixel art, and other visual arts techniques - but I'm unhappy to be courting my audience for cash when you've already been so generous. If I end up launching something like that and you've backed the game, please don't feel obligated to contribute to it! I'll be honest - I'm disheartened, exhausted, and sad. It's obvious that I'll need to spend more time "building an audience" again, but even if I wasn't burnt out by the process of vouching for my own value for a year straight I don't have a clear vision of what that looks like in the internet of 2024. Maybe I'll set up shop on Bluesky or Mastadon as well as resume frequent Twitter posting. I'll be sure to let everyone know once I've planned my presence.

James Connolly Collection
This cc set is dedicated to James Connolly.
James Connolly (1868-1916) was the working class hero of the 1916 Easter Uprising. The only member of the Provisional Government of Ireland with actual military experience, as Commandant General of the Dublin Brigade of the Army of the Irish Republic continued to issue commands from the GPO while seriously wounded. James Connolly also led the Irish Citizens Army which was formed to protect workers during the 1913 lock-out. Connolly was invited to join forces with the Irish Brotherhood for the Easter Rising and he was named one of the Vice-Presidents of the Provisional Government of Ireland.
James Connolly came from extreme poverty and spent his life passionately fighting for the rights of workers and the poor against capitalists. James Connolly was active in the Socialist movements in Ireland and the United States.
James Connolly was executed at Kilmainham Jail on 12 May 1916, tied to a chair because his wounds did not allow for him to stand in front of the firing squad.
